I spoke with a man named Ray on Facebook Marketplace regarding a 2008 Ford Escape at this dealer and came to see it in person. In his Marketplace ad, he says the car is clean and has no issues. The photos showed rust which I didn’t care for, but at least it was visible in the photos. When I test drove the car all of the problems came out from the shadows. It had an exhaust leak and major rear suspension problems that two men I spoke with passed off as no big deal. I was blocked by Ray when I kindly asked him to be more transparent. Be cautious about spending your time here, and if you do, make sure you know what to look for.

This was my first car ever, and I decided to buy used. After visiting multiple dealers in NYC, speaking with them and viewing their selections, I started to regret my decision in buying used and began considering alternatives. At that point my wife took a bus out to NJ and hoofed it from the bus stop to this dealership. Going out of our way to Jersey seemed futile at the time, but it absolutely paid off. She convinced me to take the next day off work. I did; inspected and test drove the car, and closed on it that same day. Better car, better prices than in Queens, and definitely the most unique dealer I’ve ever met. After a bombardment by a legion of slimy characters at other dealerships, my scammer radar was tuned way up high. Dealing with Lou was a breath of fresh air! The way he conducted business was different; it wasn’t pushy at all, and he didn’t raise any red flags. While strange at first, I ultimately relaxed into what turned out to be a very comfortable purchase. Lou is a super nice and honest guy, and did everything to make the entire experience stress and pressure-free. An honest approach in dealing with us made him stand out like a diamond from all the slimy pebbles. Many thanks and blessings to you Lou! Just received a nice clean title from the DMV :) Happy New Year, love the car, and great job in being a shining example of how dealers should operate.
