Worked with Daniel Gomez out of the internet department. No funny business, was transparent with the sales process and explanation. I have been burned before by surreptitious sales man, parading around as charlatan customer service reps when, in reality, they were more akin to a tapeworm; looking to leach off of you and your hard earned cash. Daniel did not do that; he spent several days working with me on choosing a car, remained patient, and was willing to have me back at different times, week days and weekends. No matter who you are you will likely feel fleeced when leaving a car dealership. That might be up there as an inevitability along with death and taxes. The highest praise I can heap upon Daniel, however, is that he made the process feel like a fair transaction and never once pushed or pulled me in any direction I was clearly unwilling to go in.TL;DR: Good dude, would go again

My experience with Gary Reed - Salesman at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet, Cincinnati, Ohio As we discussed in our original call, you act like selling a $90k+ car is not a priority? This was demonstrated again in your effort to have me figure out my own deal on the car. I have bought multiple new cars including from (Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Cadillac, Lexus, etc) many have exceeded the cost of this car in the past. Sometimes financed and sometimes in cash. EVERY salesperson walks into their finance manager, he/she plugs in the numbers and it adds up everything and they put in the term and interest rate based on the app, print it out, and the client can make a decision. This is how cars and deals are made. It would seem you need to be taught this by someone. Further, you are advertising this car as NEW, 4000 miles is not new, it is now used. Then your dealership pulls a bate and switch on a car when you tell me deep in the deal, that the staff has been "driving it around". Do you not think this was an important detail to share in an initial call? Thou, I recall I did have to wait nearly 10 minutes for your to figure out if you even owned the vehicle you were advertising nationally. I am guessing everyone that is interest is this car (2016 Corvette Z06 Convert 3LZ) may be as frustrated with the lack of effort as I am. In my opinion, no one will show up at your dealership to buy, you will need to further lower the price and loose money on this unit to sell it this fall. This is required to compensate a buyer for the lack of service they will receive from the sub par sales person.I am not intersted in pursuing this car with you, or your complacent dealership. Working with Gary was great. I never felt that he was slippery or hiding anything from me. He worked with me to find a vehicle in my budget. I would recommend working with him when you go in. Area for growth - Financing. Actually getting in the door to talk with someone is a lengthy process. Could have been my anxiousness that made it feel like I waited forever though. I believe the wait was around 45 min. Once in the door though, the rep was knowledgable and provided great service. I originally started at McCluskey and am glad I finished here.

Due to then fact that my vehicle was taken into service 3 times during the warranty period to have the transmission specifically looked at because it was slipping and nothing was done. Finally the transmission goes out on the vehicle after the warranty is up (time frame not miles). Then neither the dealership nor GM is willing to take ownership of the issue and replace the part. Only after complaining for 2 weeks did GM come through with a 70% pay offer to have it fixed. When the vehicle was taken in the 3 times prior to this knowing full well that the transmission was slipping and explaining to them time and time again that there was an issue nothing was done to the vehicle. During the 3 times the vehicle was in the shop before I was given a courtesy car to drive while they were checking it out. This time however because the car is paid off and out of the time warranty there was no courtesy car. Not only no car to drive but my vehicle kept getting pushed to the end of the line. The car was dropped off by my tow truck on Thursday and I was told it would be looked at before the weekend. That Friday afternoon I got a call that the car would not be looked at and it would be the following Tuesday 100%. Due to monday day being a holiday. Tuesday afternoon I called and now what I was told was. "We didn't have time to look at it and we honestly can't tell you when we will" along with a personal attack that "you don't know what it takes to get these cars diagnosed we do and we are very busy and will let you know when we are done." So I politely ask what the worst case would be and was told the following Monday. At this time I was forced to rent my own car. And the first contact to GM was made because I felt that I was getting pushed aside and wasn't going to get a satisfactory service due to the extremely rude parts manager and transmission tech. With that background I can explain how this looks from a now former customers point of view. If your car 1. Has an issue and 2. Is under warranty and 3. You still owe us money. You will be taken care of fairly well but we will not go as far to look into it any further than absolutely necessary. However if you do have an issue and aren't under warranty and don't owe us money. You immediately drop to the bottom of the barrel and we'll get to it when we can. And you should be happy that we are spending our precious time on squeezing you into our schedule when we have other paying customers. To say the least this entire experience has taught me a lot about how GM handles their customers and how that dealership treats people. I feel sadden and embarrassed to have bought a chevy. I don't believe I'll be making that mistake in the future. Please pass this on to the supervisor at GM that has still not returned my call. Not to mention, my car was clean as a pin when I brought it in and when I went to pick it up it was covered in a film of dirt and dust and the floor board was covered in dirt from whoever was working on it.

Sorry so short, but these guys have already wasted enough of my time.Jake Sweeney Chevy must be experiencing time dilation of the Einstein variety, with everything that is done in minutes, or hours at other dealerships, taking days, or more at JSC. Need a callback? Don't hold your breath. Walk into the dealership? You'll be promptly greeted! And then left standing around while the salesman goes........where? Maybe someone will come back to you.... sometime later...Their prices are not exactly reasonable, but ARE intractable, to be sure, so bring your gap insurance forms - you'll need them!No thanks.Nathan Stahlwirth

I want to start by clarifying that my 4-star rating is not a reflection of the salesmen at the dealership. I had spoke to Jerrell Jordon a couple times on the phone before visiting and asked for him upon arrival. He met me in the showroom a few minutes later, and he was great to communicate with from the first phone call through the end of the deal. He was very open with information and didn't seem to be trying to hide anything. I was looking at a certified pre-owned 2015 Camaro with 4097 miles on it, so with it being certified, I wasn't too worried about something hidden being wrong. He went over the history of the car straight from the CARFAX with me before I drove out to see it, which was nice because I had to go almost 2 hours to get there. If and when I decide to trade up for a new car years down the road, I'll definitely see if Jerrell is still in the area. My only problem with the dealership came during the financing segment of the day, which is to be expected. Initially, however, there was no amount of negotiation on their side. This is the first car that I have financed, and only being 22, I don't have a very long credit history. My credit is still pretty good since I pay my credit card off at the end of every month, but there initial offer was an outlandish interest rate. Finally by the fourth round of questions they realized that if they wanted this car gone today, they had to do better. Some action was finally taken on their end and they came back with almost half the interest rate and a slightly lower sale price on the car. I'm very happy with the deal I ended up with, but it was definitely frustrating before we got to that point. So to wrap up, 5 stars to Jerrell for being one of the coolest guys and friendliest salesman I've talked to, 4 stars to the dealer for the initial lack of anything that could be considered negotiation.

Indescribable!!! I came in a few weeks ago with a minimum down payment, my credit wasn't great so I wasn't sure that I would leave with anything but what I can in with. I was so nervous, Mr Aden picked up on it asking if I was ok. I explained that I was nervous, and his response was " Are you a women of faith" I replied "yes". He said "DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE OR ANYTHING DISTURB YOUR PEACE". After that along with reading reviews of what he'd done for others put me at ease. He told me that he would do everything he could do that I wouldn't have to put my children back into my old car, and he did just that. This was an experience that I will never forget. I will be forever grateful fit his words and hard work... You've gained a customer for life.

I recently went into Jake Sweeney Chevrolet looking for a vehicle larger than the one I have currently . I met with Jessica Barger Smith and she was awesome ! During the time we were there her and Jay Wagstaff worked their hardest to find us the best deal on the vehicle we wanted. My husband and I had our 2 children with us , and they were more than accomadating. She even ordered pizza for all of us to share since the kids were getting restless and hungry. In the end, we got the exact vehicle we wanted, a 2016 Traverse and we couldn't be happier. I would recommend any and everyone go see her for any of their vehicle needs!!!!

I requested information on a car listed on Cars.com. Darrin Aden answered my request and we started talking. It turned out there was a mix-up on Cars.com but Darrin told me that they had an identical car except the mileage was lower and hence, the price would be higher. I did what little analysis was available and told Darrin "if everything is as you say, I want to buy the lower mileage vehicle". Darrin sent me additional pictures and it turned out there was 1 difference, the lower mileage did not have chrome wheels, only aluminum wheels. While that was a deal breaker, I did further research and found chrome wheels that I liked for the car decided to go forth with the picture.I was working in Austin, TX so I flew into Cincinnati on a Friday night. Darrin picked me up on Saturday morning and explained that they had discovered 2 nails in the sidewall on the left rear tire. They had to buy a new tire and had some difficulty finding a new tire that matched what was on the car. They found one at a Tire Distributor in South Cincinnati and we picked it up on the way back from the airport.Got to the dealership and Darrin took the tire to the mechanic that had found the 2 nails and asked that he get it on and balanced as soon as possible because I had to drive back to Texas before Sunday night.While waiting, Darrin asked if I would like to join their morning prayer group. I said yes and we all joined hands (approximately 12 people) and before we stated praying, Darrin informed the group that I had flown in from Texas the night before and I needed safe travel for my trip home.After the prayer, Darrin and I took a shake down cruise for the car and did not find anything wrong.When we returned, Darrin took me to the CFO to take care of the paperwork. We did that and then I just waited until the car was ready to go.Darrin got into the car with me and showed me how to operate some of the features that I didn't have in my other cars and I then embarked on my trip home.After I cleared the Cincinnati traffic, I kicked the cruise control up to about 75 mph and was setting there enjoying the feel of the car and its great suspension (Cadillac CTS Coupe). All of a sudden, a car changed lanes right in front of me going much slower and I had to get on the brakes hard. To my surprise, that set off a bad vibration which felt like a rotor or rotors that were warped. I called Darrin and made him aware of the problem. He said for me to get it addressed and to send him a copy of the bill.I traveled on and got back to my home in Plano, TX at about 1 PM on Sunday. I took the car to Pep Boys and they confirmed that bother front rotors were warped and out of round. They turned both rotors and had the car fixed by Sunday evening at about 4 PM. In the interim, I had decided to fly back to Austin rather than try to make a fast trip on Sunday evening. I sent Darrin a copy of the bill on Monday and he took care of it.All in all, I was treated very professionally and left with a good feeling about Darrin and everyone associated with this dealership.

To preface, the MSRP on the truck was $60,600. Needless to say, I was expecting a reasonable amount of professionalism. Also, my father has been in car sales for 35 years so I have a very realistic gauge of what reasonable customer service is in car sales.I called Jake Sweeney sales to confirm the availability/price of a truck. I reach "salesman" GARY REED who agrees to check and call me back. An hour later while sitting in the DRs office I receive a text stating "confirmed" but no info on what is confirmed. I call Gary for clarification and he states "I already told you I confirmed it". I explain again that I need to know the asking price, in a pretty frustrated tone Gary states the price. I then request to see the truck later that day and Gary aggressively begins requesting that I place a deposit on the truck if I am a "serious buyer". When I refuse, Gary states he has 5 other appointments that day and demands to know if I am at another dealership. I explained that I was at the DR and not going to buy a vehicle sight unseen that is only 2 hrs away. Gary replies "well I guess your not a serious buyer". Reluctantly, I move forward w/ scheduling an appointment.I arrive at the dealership and see Gary at the agreed meeting place. After he overlooks me several times he finally asks in a shocked condescending tone if I am Ryan. (I guess a guy in a wheelchair and sweats doesn't meet the criteria for a "serious buyer"). The 1st thing Gary does when we get to the truck is crank the stereo up so loud I expected the speakers to blow. Even though I was now worried the speakers may be damaged and I was extremely dissatisfied with the way I had been treated I decide to move forward with the purchase. We go back to Gary's desk and he disappears for about 10 minutes. After he returns we discuss numbers for a few minutes and then he asks me to wait while he takes his brother out to the vehicle he just bought to show him a few things. A while later Gary returns and we agree on a price and to remove a $250 document fee. Gary goes to discuss the terms with his sales mgr while I sit alone for at least 30 minutes. Fed up, I inform another salesman that I'm leaving b/c I'm tired of sitting around clueless. Gary then appears with the paperwork that still reflected the $250 fee. After I point it out Gary says his mgr would not remove it. The fact that Gary tried to sneak the fee past me combined with his awful service was too much. I thanked him for his time and went outside to leave. Another salesman came out to ask why I was leaving. I decided not to complain about Gary and blamed it on the $250 fee. After a few minutes I decided not to let my frustrations get in the way of buying the truck I wanted. While waiting to finalize the paperwork I noticed the truck had been moved and now has mud splattered on it. Gary says "I hit some mud no big deal". (Uh that's my new truck, It's a BIG deal!). I ask if someone will be cleaning the truck before I take it home. Gary says all the cleaning guys are gone. I offer to bring it back tomorrow to be cleaned and he says no, "I guess I'll clean it up some". (I had been there for hours why wasn't this done before the cleaning crew left!?). Finally the sale is complete and I am ready to learn all about my brand new truck. I go outside and Gary is no where to be found! The truck had been sprayed with a hose and tire shine thrown on half the wheels. I felt absolutely cheated, anyone who has purchased a brand new vehicle knows that the feeling you get when driving it off the lot for the 1st time while it is the cleanest it will ever be is what makes taking the depreciation hit of buying new worth it. In spite of the horrendous experience I had at Jake Sweeney, I had managed to enjoy my new truck. Until the day I opened the passenger door and saw a sticker slapped onto the PAINT of my BRAND NEW $60k TRUCK! The sticker says "Sold by Gary Reed" and is STUCK to the paint. The last 5 vehicles I have purchased have been GM made. When I purchase a vehicle I need to feel confident that the manufacturer will stand behind their product and in order to reach the manufacture I must go through a dealer. I no longer feel comfortable that I will be protected in the event that something goes wrong with my vehicle. This poses a significant problem when I am also forced to spend another $85,000 in modifications so I can drive it to work and continue to be a productive tax paying member of society. This truck is a lifeline for my family as I cant just go out and rent a car if there is an issue. Therefore, I certainly cant afford to be at the bottom of my dealers priority list when I need them most. Growing up in Cincinnati, the Jake Sweeney brand used to mean quality and safety in buying but not anymore. The only thing I'll remember about buying a GM vehicle from Jake Sweeney is that I was nothing more than appointment # 6 on Gary Reeds schedule and after you hand the money over you are on your own.

I was approved for the loan however, they were unwilling to negotiate a offer that was reasonable. Also, upon arriving at the dealership, the car/van I wanted wasn't at that location and the salesman had to go get it. Waited 15 minutes before even seeing the car. Would have been nice if the salesman would have been prepared.

This car buying experience was the absolute best that I have ever had in my life. I felt I was truly buying a car from my family. Although my credit score may have been in the crapper, you definitely couldn't tell by the overall treatment I experienced from the moment I came in the door until the moment I drove off of the lot. From Darren, his peers, his manager all the way through to the finance guy I couldn't believe how well I was treated. I was actually fitted like you would be in a custom made suit, with a car which I liked, could afford and that would help me rebuild my overall credit.And through the entire process they removed any stress that I felt because of my poor credit score. Drove there for a used escalade that was reported a little below retail price. Given this is at a dealership you would think the representation of the ad and inspection would be correct. The Kelley Blue book provided was the wrong model (not a platinum model), transmission had a issue, drivers seat belt did not work, back captain chairs broken and remotes were said to be $40 when they are 227 from dealer each. Sales man seemed friendly until caught in the lie. He set up his work area with religous stuff to try to remove doubt.They wasted 5 hours of my time and were not willing to negotiate on a car with two previous wrecks, only service was oil changes, and had many issues that would have taken a hour to repair before offering to sell. They do not care about their used products as taking no responsibility to the major issues. Also report inspected but drivers seat belt did not even work. Oh, no gas in the car for a test drive. Avoid this place.

Jarrell made the entire process easy for me. Walking me through what they needed and was also honest with me that I might not get what I wanted if the numbers were not there. He was also very personable and I was able to relate to him on some levels. This made me very comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the length of the entire process but of course you are making a major purchase with the need of a loan. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and also congratulated me once I signed on the dotted line! I ended up getting what I wanted and I couldn't be happier! It has been 2 weeks since purchasing my 2015 Chevy Trax and it is amazing!

Tyreese Lewis was very helpful in finding me a car that was in my budget and low in mileage. He even helped me on his day off to make sure that my car was being serviced and detailed. He also made sure that I received a loaner car while my car was being serviced and detailed, and he even called me to let me know when I was able to pick up my car. I filled out a survey previously and was contacted via email by the 'Service Manager' who said they would contact me. Well that was well over three weeks ago! I really didn't expect a reply anyway. I had my car in for service two times between January 5, 2016 and February 26, 2016 that took almost 2 months to fix! Although the time factor wasn't completely Jake Sweeney's fault, I do feel that they are responsible in some light. These were the absolute WORSE auto repair experiences of my life! I've always been leery of dealerships when it comes to auto repair and maintenance and this is exactly the reason why! I had a bad experience with another local dealer which is why I decided to give Jake Sweeney my business, hoping they would change my mind and they did, for the worse! I'll never go to another dealership again and definitely not back to Jake Sweeney Chevrolet! I inquired first & specifically on a pricing question, which was not addressed at all. In turn, I ignored the misdirection questions I got from the dealership, & refocused on price. Again, I did not get a direct answer, except that the dealership felt the vehicle in question was "priced correctly" -- despite the examples I had provided demonstrating that was not the case. I have been contacted by the dealership once since then, but I have not replied.

I would never buy a car here again. The buying process was overly simplified and then I never got my title documents in time to actually register my car. When I would call to try to speed up the process I would get half answers and then they started blaming me for the problems. Simply pathetic. You can find as good of deals elsewhere. And the lack of service makes this an easy decision: shop elsewhere.

My husband and I were interested in buying a new vehicle for our growing family. We went to Jake Sweeney because we have bought two other cars thru Jake Sweeny BMW and Jake Sweeney Mazda and were treated great and got a great deal on those vehicles. So we went to the Chevrolet dealership and was vary pleased with how we were being treated until it came down to the negotiations. When they came back with what we were getting the car for and what we owed on our trade and the out the door price of the new vehicle it wasn't adding up. So we told our salesman who called over another man and told him what we thought was a adding error on that form. He sat down on the desk and said ok how about we give you more for your trade and gave us a new out the door price. We said we needed to talk it over and would get back to them. When we left we figured out that the first offer was the Msrp price of the car and not the price they were going to sell the car to us for. And the second offer that the other man gave us was the actual number it should have been in the first place. He was acting like he was giving us more for our trade instead of just admitting the error. So we went elsewhere and bought our new vehicle and couldn't be happier. The vehicle we were interested in was a new 2015 not a 2016. So I know there is more room in the negotiation than on a 2016 model year.

Ok starts off they take the car give me a rental.service guy says to me 100 just to pop the hood I tell him I bought a warranty on car he calls me later and said not covered on part. and now the rental is costing me to. so he says total 308 and he said we need rental back I told him we will bring it back after work he says that's fine. me and my wife get there and they hit me with 400 bill I told them the one guy name steve (don't ever deal with) said 308 then they said sorry we just want are money. so we did pay them and said we will never be back. So if you need service run unless you love giving your hard earned money away. I will never buy or service at this place ever again. I bet Jake Sweeney don't know he has people working for him doing this.

I literally wait in the showroom while they bring the choice cars to me loaded with just what suits me.These salesmen don't just close the deal and walk away, they are careful to call and check on you, pick your car up for any sundry installations, or send a service person to you to do installs in your driveway if you can't come to the the dealership for service. They also develop relationship to make sure all is well for the long haul. In short, you are made to feel like a VIP! I had a very good experience here and just wanted to share. We found a 2008 Honda Odyssey and called about it. I spoke with Matthew White about the cost of the vehicle and explained I did not want to haggle back and forth with the price and let him know that if his bottom number was not acceptable, I would not accept any counters and would move on. He presented me with a very fair price for the vehicle and I decided to move forward with the purchase of the vehicle. I appreciated that it didn't turn into a back and forth with the decision makers in the other room. Nothing worse than the good cop\bad cop routine that I have experienced at every other dealership I have purchased from. Financing was a breeze so I was then sent over to the finance department to sign the paperwork. When that was completed I went back to see Matt and he said the mechanics did their final check and found some issue that needed to be resolved before I was handed the keys. Since some parts needed to be ordered and I traded in my old car, he provided me with a new loaner until the issues were resolved. Keep in mind that I bought this as is with no warranty. They could have given me this car and the issues would have been on me but they didn't. It needed a motor for one of the sliding doors, a battery, and the front brake pads had some life but very little so they took care of that. In the end it was 1,100 dollars in repairs that didn't cost me a dime. Since I do not live very close to the dealership Matt offered to deliver my new vehicle to me when the repairs were complete, which he did. I would recommend the dealership but more importantly recommend Matt White. He went the extra mile for my family.

Although the people were nice I felt some of the advertisements were a bit misleading. I initially went in to look at a chevy camaro and had an idea of what I wanted to spend and also was going for the zero percent financing being offered. Next thing I know after I talked with the person i worked with he said I have the perfect car he pulls up in a car that already had 3000 miles on it and said this is a great deal you get all the new car incentives etc. It was 6000 more than what i wanted get originally and didn't qualify for the zero percent financing. I was never told was the financing rate was and just shown what the payment would be out the door after asking for this information and such I basically was made to wait int he showroom for 30 minutes while who I was dealing with talked to his manager. It was very annoying and basically ruined my whole car shopping day as I sat for almost an hour on this stuff. Finally, offered another vehicle that qualified for zero percent financing and was more in my price range but supposedly had the same payment as the more upgraded car. Just seemed very shady and I felt pressured for something I didn't want to do. Ultimately, I will not be buying here as a result.

Marcus reached out to me after I expressed interest online. After setting a time and date that worked best with both of us I express concerns getting out to the car lot, Marcus then offered to pick me up which I thought was pretty cool. At the car lot Marcus had another customer waiting for him so he had Kierre log me into the system . This was very helpful because Keirre provided excellent fast service and Marcus picked up where he left off. After i decided the car I felt was best for me I sat back and watch Marcus do his magic!!! It was a great filling and I don't think it would've happen anywhere else just because the extra effort Marcus put in. They worked with my poor credit and no prior leasing history. Overall I am thankful the Almighty sent me over to Jake Sweeney because I am rolling and feeling good!!!

My Husband and I came in to purchase another car after ours was totaled in a accident early March. I had my heart set on a certain type of vehicle and would walk away from the situation if I could not get what I wanted. We had the pleasure of working with Vincent McKitric. I did not make things easy for Vincent at all ( not on purpose). I was still upset from losing my previous car that I was not thinking with a clear head at all times. We first came in Chevrolet late March, and Vince did everything he could to get us a car (He found some really good options),but I was being very stubborn, because it was not what I wanted and we walked away. So once again Vincent McKitric agrees to work with us and helps us get a good car from Jake Sweeney Chevrolet. He made sure the most important things I asked for we got. I wanted a car at or under 10,000; under 100,000 miles and with a sunroof if possible. Ok but he needs check stub to finish up so we drive hr back home then hr back to dealership! Another hr later he says only thing he can offer me is a honda civic ! Not bad expirence buying our car which we love. Many problems after the sale. Car heater went out less than 30 days after I bought it and I was told I had to pay a diagnostic fee of 100$ to even had it looked at. My temp tags expired before I was able to get my tags. Now, my car is requiring an oil change. Our salesman was great and the staff was nice but they don't work very hard after the sale.

Salesman told me it was mandatory to purchase a service contract (Approx $1,800) on my 2009 used car. They even worked in a 30 day paint protection warranty for $200. Originally had a 2.99 interest rate, but a week later when I came in to cancel the service contract, that I never wanted to begin with, I was told that there was a mistake on my loan and I needed to resign for 3.99. I was there from 9am to 4pm and didn't even get offered a water. VERY DISHONEST PEOPLE!!!

We drove almost an hour 1/2 to look at a vehicle at this dealership. It was the color I was looking for and had all the accessories I wanted. I came to buy. It was just a matter of negotiating a price. Brett and Vince went to get the car for us to look at. They came back 15 - 20 minutes later and said the vehicle was not on the lot, an employee had driven it home. So instead of telling us it wasn't available to look at, they said it was 15 minutes away and they were going to go get it. 30 minutes after that, Brett and Vince still hadn't left the lot. We stopped them and asked if we could maybe start talking price and get our trade in looked at. Vince agreed that both him and Brett didn't need to go get the car from the manager that had driven it home. So we went back inside to wait. We gave Brett our car keys and waited. About 30 minutes later J.C. came to introduce himself and ask if we had any questions. We really didn't have any, just wanted to talk some numbers. Still nothing. Finally after waiting for over 2 hours (which I am sure most of you reading this would have left long before) I had to go knock on the sales managers door and ask for my cars keys back. I was told that Vince was almost back with the car. He was at the next exit. But I had heard it too many times and decided that if they hadn't been honest with me up to that point, they probably weren't going to be. By the way, I was never offered a drink or a seat in the lounge with the tv that I heard being offered to the nice family that was in there working with someone else. Too bad, I really wanted that car. From the time we pulled in the lot we were there for almost 3 hours and never saw the car we came to look at or talked any numbers with anyone.

Out of state cash buyer for a used Corvette in low sales season. Had everything arranged, including non-refundable tickets for transportation, car rental, independent inspection, and a quite large cashier's check. All this info re-confirmed with dealer on Friday. They were supposed to hold as of Friday for my arrival Monday morning (supposedly closed Sunday). This was also confirmed in an email from them. Saturday, I get a call telling me it's been sold. I guess I should just be happy I didn't arrive there Monday & find out then. The individual salesman, Jason, I dealt with was nice. Can not recommend dealing with an outfit that treats customers this way. Nearby McClusky Chevrolet has a good reputation among Corvette owners, especially for service, so if you're looking in the area, it may well be in your interest to do business with them, or another nearby dealer instead of Sweeney.

I went to this dealership with one car in mind. The salesman I worked with did a great job, was very nice and understanding. He didn't try to push any other cars on me. The only negative is that I was not able to work the price down at all, but that's okay. Just know that if you come here, the price you see is more than likely the final offer.

I am going through a divorce and have bad credit because of it. They 'guarantee' financing, and I spent all afternoon without an answer. My salesman told me he would get back with me THAT DAY to let me know how much I qualified for, and which cars on their lot I could choose from. I did not hear from him at all that night, I tried to call the number on his business card without an answer, and left several messages for him to return my call that next day. No response, so I called and asked to speak with the sales manager.it was nothing but me getting the runaround! The sales manager in the used car lot even avoided my calls all day that next day, and I finally called back at 5 PM the following night to leave a message for him to let him know that I would never be back! Everyone should be treated with the courtesy of a call back, regardless of if they qualified for something or not. They were very unprofessional by avoiding my calls, and I will do everything I can not to recommend them to any of my family or friends!

I've dealt with a lot of car salesman who wouldn't give me the time of day as a young, single woman. Darrin Aden is the only salesman I've ever interacted with who treated me with genuine kindness, honesty and respect. It literally almost brought me to tears. I've been having trouble out of my car since day one. I took it back for repairs only to get it back in the same condition and they told me they couldnt find the problem. The finance manager was very rude tellin me that they don't have to repair my car at all they were doing me a favor. Nonone cares about the customer they just care about the sale and their commission. Please save yourself the headache I'll NEVER go back or reccomend anyone!!!!!

My wife and I have spent much money on our 2003 Chevrolet Silverado at Jake Sweeney including a new transfer case along with some misc. repairs totaling over $3000.00 in the past year and a half. Only to find out we had to endure the inconvenience of returning the vehicle to them several times since to correct issues with their parts or because of their workmanship. Now come to find out that the new transfer case is already bad on the truck and they will not stand behind their work. Even got hung up on the phone today by a gentleman in their service dept. because he was "confused". Never ever taking any vehicles back to them nor recommending them in any sort of way or form. Supposedly $3000.00 worth of work doesn't last very long these days.

From the very moment that I'd spoken to our sales person ( Al Glover), I felt a sense of relief. It is always a nerve recking process when making major purchases, but having him as our sales rep helped to eliminate some of my nervousness. I went in to buy a used car because my old car had a blown engine. After Mr. Willis worked himself silly helping me and had talked to Mr. Baker, I had found that I could trade in my busted vehicle but only on the purchase of a new car. They both worked hard to get the right car for me and get me the best deal. But with my very bad credit I didn't think it was possibble. They proved me wrong and when they found that I was an Army Veteran, the rate came down to a number that I never dreamed of. And not only did they not push me to consider anything that I didn't want like most dealerships, they were real genuine people and very cool to be around. There were no false promises, false smiles nor lack of concern to help me. Just pure greatness from great men. I got my 2014 Chevy Cruze on February 10th, 2014. It was freezing temperatures and ice all over everything. But Mr. Willis did not slow down one bit. I am forever greatful to these men and look forward to working with them again in the future.

We initially only went looking for cars at the last minute, but Tyrone was a such a great sales person my mother and I ended up buying one. We were well taken care of although they were closing we didn't feel rushed and the service and guarantee we got were great. This is my first time ever going to a car lot I am always skeptical of car sales people, I think most just try to sell the car to get the commission. We consumers come to buy looking for a reliable to car to get to work to pay for our bills, not for the car to come back in to the shop and struggle with paying bills and a car payment. Recently, I had been on the market looking for a new car. I had been sharing a car with my mother for about six months at this point and was getting pretty anxious about saving money and getting a new car. I knew that Jared Hale had been selling cars at Jake Sweeney for about two years and was the first person that I thought of to buy a car from. He was everything and more than I expected my experience to be with him. We are very close friends, but that did not stop him from being completely professional. The car buying process was quick and easy going through him to buy a car. When my mother and I first got on the lot at Jake Sweeney, we were helped right away by Jared and were put into the system to see if we could be approved. While we were waiting for the paper work and everything to go through, Jared asked us if we needed anything to drink or a snack which was very thoughtful of him. Once we received our approval, he asked me what all I wanted my car to include and what color. He took us on a test drive in a blue Chevy Sonic and I fell in love. I loved everything about the car so we went back to the dealership and he worked up the paperwork for the price that we wanted. I received the news that I would be able to have my payments right in my price range and I couldn't have been happier. I was so excited to be able to get a new car! I made an appointment with Jared and drove down to the dealership. We went over my options and I decided to lease a 2014 Cruze. Jared did an outstanding job in getting me a great deal on the car. I went to Jake Sweeney while shopping for a used car. I already knew the make and model that I wanted and was now shopping around for the best deal that I could find. I parked, got out of my car, and started to walk toward the building when a salesman (I didn't get his name) asked me if he could help me. I said yes, that I was interested in a Nissan Altima. His next words where "How much are you ready to spend?" I told him that I didn't really know right at the moment. At that point he became totally dismissive and said that if they had any, they would be up front somewhere, and then he walked away. Well, I did buy a Nissan Altima, but not from Jake Sweeny. If I go to a car lot with the intention of buying a car, I at least wanted to be treated with a little more respect than just a dollar sign. The least that the salesman could have done was to point me in the right direction, said "My name is _____. If you see something that you like, come back and get me and we'll take a look at it." But no, he thought that he saw a "No Sale" so he dismissed me, and Jake Sweeny lost a sale.

Well I beg to differ walking into Jake Sweeney I was not sure what I was getting into ( because in the back of my mind I hear the bad things of the car buying experiences of others), or the Don't you go in there by yourself your a woman you'll get taken advantage of...Let me tell you that my experience was nothing short of fantastic.. Everyone that I had contact with there was really nice friendly and went above and beyond there call of duty to make sure that I was taken care of. When I came in on Monday (4-7-14) I ask the salesmen David Kopec what I wanted to do was to trade my 2008 Impala for the 2009 Pontiac G8. He said lets go see what he can do to get me that trade. When we came to Jake Sweeney, we had only been in our vehicle for about a year and a half. We had A LOT of negative equity and very high payments. After telling my cousin how unhappy I was she brought me straight into Jared Hale's office, and I'm VERY thankful she did. Jared was very professional and nice! Jared went above and beyond what we were expecting. I explained our situation to him and he told me he would do everything he could to help us, and that is EXACTLY what he did! He looked at what would be the biggest benefit to our family, and that meant so much to my husband and I! We did not feel like he was just trying to sell us a car, in fact, we KNEW he REALLY wanted to help our family! I couldn't hardly believe my ears when Jared told me he could put us into a BRAND NEW Chevrolet Traverse for almost $100.00 less than what we were currently paying! It was a dream come true for our family. Jared made us feel at home at Jake Sweeney and treated us like family. He answered any and every question we had. Terrible absolutely horrific experience. I was referred to these people because I was considering getting a new car. I told GARY several times that I could not afford a payment of 324. My payment on my current car was 273 right now and I was comfortable with that. They insisted I take the 2014 chevy cruze home for the night, as if it would change what i could afford. I did it anyways and brought it back the next day and told them i wanted my car back i had a lot to do that day and i couldnt wait around. They left me in the waiting room for 20 minutes then asked me to look at another car. I said ok but im in a hurry. they showed me a 2012 cruze LTZ with 41,000 miles on it and they wanted 20,000 for it, but the paymet was 298. At that point i was so annoyed i said whatever lets do i got to go. After i switch my stuff over to the new used car i went back to the waiting room and was left there again for like 10 minutes which gave me time to realize that seemed like ALOT for a 2012 with close to 50,000 miles on it. I went back to Gary and said hey can you show me the blue book value and he immediately got offended. he said the 2014s go for 27,000... ookay but this is a 2012 and it has 41,000 miles on it. He started telling me all the features and i said yeah i dont care about any of that i just want to see the value of the car and he FLEW off the hinges... He said you know what im treating you like family (whatever that means?) and you are just not appriciating anything and i said you know what your right so hers your key back and ill take mine and ill get out of here and he said yeah i think thats a good idea!!!! and then he said GET THIS GIRL OUT OF MY OFFICE... no need i was leaving anyways...then he had one of his girl menions bring my car around and switch the plates back and she was cursing under her breath and i was done! NEVER again will i shop there and i will NEVER refer anyone to them. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Cant even ask to be shown the value of the car without getting kicked out.

Steve was an absolute pleasure with whom to work. Steve helped us compare several different makes and models, both new and used, and was very attentive to what we said we wanted and what we needed, as well as our reactions to different vehicles we examined. Ultimately, we narrowed it down to two models, and could have flipped a coin to determine which was the right one for us. We purchased a used GMC Terrain AWD and are absolutely happy with it. It had all of the features we wanted, including the extras we ordered through Steve as part of the purchase (roof rack cross rails and back storage cover).One of the things Steve and the dealership did for us that went above and beyond was that they tried really hard to get a better interest rate than what I had from my credit union. The effort they put into getting me the best rate possible is the kind of experience you want to have. Although they did not beat the rate I had obtained, they were within half a percentage point of what my credit union gave me.This is my third purchase from Jake Sweeney Chevrolet, and if any dealership was going to be your dealer for life, this would be the one for me. I have had three outstanding experiences with Jake Sweeney, and would recommend them to anyone.

I was in the market for a Chevrolet Equinox, downsizing from a very large SUV. I shopped around at other Chevrolet dealerships in Cincinnati before finally making my way to Jake Sweeney. I was very satisfied with the customer service presented by Don Smith. He was very cordial, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Ultimately, it was Don's professionalism and customer service that won me over and led me to make my purchase at Jake Sweeney. Jay Wagstaff was also very helpful, friendly, and seemed genuinely sincere in his efforts to make my car-buying experience as pleasant, smooth, and successful as possible. I am very grateful Jay was passing by as I walked through the doors of Jake Sweeney. The teamwork between the car sales persons (Don Smith), the managers (Jay Wagstaff), and the finance department (Michael Fields and Jessica?) was remarkable. The dealership advertised prices with requirements that those whom meet them would NEVER consider those vehicles. They requested I tried to qualify for a new vehicle, knowing the payment range I was trying to maintain, then tied my time up for several hours to prevent my shopping at other dealerships. In what seemed to be an honest attempt to reach my budget the figures on a used vehicle were higher than the new car. Their response to that situation was to pass me to another "sister company" in which after explaining my experience, they offered an ongoing theme this would rebuild my credit, and companies who would deal with me the transaction would not affect my credit score. After insisting I am responsible enough to be aware of my budget constraints that taking their offer would only harm my credit score they realized I was not susceptible to this tactic. I never saw the original vehicle I approached them about, the prices for the offers were never discussed, and the results in which they referenced were never displayed. I was prepared to purchase a vehicle with reasonable income and history, and no one at the facility was capable of presenting a mutually agreeable presentation involving any of their supposed vast quantity of products to choose from.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have experienced at Jake Sweeny. I inquired about a 2010 Chevy Camaro that was listed for $17,900 first. Within a day of the ad, the price jumped to $18,888. After finding a newer (2011) with less mileage (29,000) car that's the EXACT same, I told Shana. She said they maybe able to price match. I tried calling her to talk more about the price match and left her a voicemail asking for more information. She never returned my call. I texted her saying I maybe able to stop by and test drive the car, she immediately texts me back and says she will be there the next day. I go to test drive the car, asking numerous times about the price match, no one is giving me a straight answer, just that they would speak with a manager. We leave the dealership without even figuring out the price of the car. Shana says she will text/call/email me later on that night after talking to her manager. I never hear anything from her so I text her myself. She said nothing is worked out so she will let me know in the morning. I texted her around 1:00 pm asking again about the price match. She texts me back saying they won't price match the other NEWER car with LESS mileage. My time and money was WASTED on this misleading information. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with this service. Shana was always polite and nice but the lack of information and untimely manner is completely frustrating. I will not come back to Jake Sweeny ever. The price match guarantee is bogus and just a way to get people into the dealership. This dealer just missed out on a $20,000 deal.

I have dealt with many dealers in my life but none were more friendly, honest, willing to work with my bad credit than I experienced with Steve. He was very knowledgeable & was able to answer any questions we had. The selection at Jake Sweeney was as impressive as Steve. We went there for a used car but ended up getting a new one & I am in love with it. I've been in need of a car for about two or three years. I heard about Jake Sweeney through the internet around the time I began searching. I did their online app and I was contacted by Jared. From the start he was very nice, professional, and seemed ready to help. Back then(2011 or 2012) I did not follow through with purchasing from them because I had so many obstacles like poor credit, I was very young, and I had no cosigner so I ASSUMED that they couldn't help me. Last year a friend told me about her experience with them so this year I thought I'd go ahead and give them a try again. Well let's just say best decision I could've made. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks regarding my service. I arrived not knowing whether or not anyone could help me due to my recent bankruptcy discharge. I first spoke with Darrin through the online sales chat regarding my desire to purchse a new vehicle. I then submitted my credit app and faxed all necessary documents to Darrin. I showed up at the dealership and he was with a customer and didn't want me to have to wait so he turned me over to Tyreese Lewis who had just started and it was actually his first day out of training. He was very encouraging. He put forth a diligent effort to provide me with outstanding customer service. I experienced this with all of the employees I encountered. I went in to test drive a Equinox. Not to purchase. Jon Malapit came straight up to me when I walked into the Chevrolet showroom. He was very polite and just seemed genuine. Coming from a long time marketing background with relatives in the car sales business, I know the importance of first impressions. He was willing to go above and beyond what a normal sales person would do. I went in with so-so credit and not much to work with. He made every effort possible to put me in the vehicle I wanted. I am very satisfied with Jon and his character. He was honest about the vehicles and offering suggestions so I could make the right choice. In the end, I walked out with a new 2013 Chevy Equinox that I absolutely love. Jon deserves a lot of credit, that often goes unseen by managers and owners. Jake Sweeney, "You have an excellent guy on staff". My recommendation is to let this professional do his job like he helped me. 5 out of 5 stars to Jon Malapit!!And NO! I first contacted Jake Sweeney through their internet department with a couple questions about one of their 2014 Silverado's. I was then put in contact with Jared Hale. I was very pleased with his prompt reply to my questions and eagerness to help me find what I was looking for. When I arrived at the dealership to speak with Jared he was very helpful and polite. I had my 10 Month old son with me who somewhat terrorized his desk. Not once did he act annoyed or give my wife and I an attitude. I'm very appreciative of his positive attitude with us as customers and his ability to make the car buying experience easy. Jared was very personable with us and made us feel welcome to the dealership. Jared is by far the best salesman that I have come in contact with. Marcus was very helpful and made me feel at ease during the whole process! This is the only car lot I have ever felt like they had my best of interest in mind and I will explain. They didn't just use the first or second bank to approve me they found the best rate and payment... yes it took several hours to do this but it is worth the wait! The best thing is they went with a bank at 18.99% interest and when the finance manager seen this he took it upon himself to find a better rate and got it down to 10.99% interest. No car lot has ever worked so hard for me to get me the best deal! My wife and I had been in an unfortunate accident that totaled our car. At our advanced age we never thought we would have to replace our car. We liked our 2003 Vibe and didn't want to go shopping for another car. Our son-in-law found the car advertised online.It wasa newer Vibe than our car and had fewer miles. As soon as the insurance adjuster told us we needed a car because they totaled ours . I contacted Jake Sweeney and they said it had just come on their lot. They needed to check it out and clean it up. The price had not been locked in. Tyrone Glove rcalled and said I could test drive it. I went that afternoon and we took it out and I was pleased with the car the price, the salesman. He sent me to the finance company and we signed the Papers. I saw Jake Sweeney automobiles while I was on the internet looking for a used or possibly new car. The inventory at Jake Sweeney really caught my eye. I submitted an application online, and within minutes, I was contacted by the Internet Sales Department, specifically Darrin Aden. What a super salesman. Darrin is the "real deal" for those of you who don't like high pressure salesmen. When he contacted me he told me exactly what I would need and scheduled an appointment for me to come down and meet with him. Let me be honest, my situation was not the best in the world to be purchasing ANY vehicle. Upon arrival, Darrin reviewed my information and went to work. Darrin and the finance managers there seem like wizards, because I was able to drive out with a BRAND NEW car the same day. When I say salesman, that is a title only, he treated me with the dignity and respect everyone deserves when making a purchase of this magnitude. It was truly above and beyond what I had received from other salesman at competing dealerships. This leads me to the point, Darrin is a great person as well as a salesman. No pressure to really buy anything at all. It was more important to Darrin and the Jake Sweeney dealership, that I was happy with my purchase even if we couldn't make a deal. But we did, and for that, I am extremely thankful. So if your in need of a vehicle or just want one for whatever reason, please don't buy a car until you give Darrin Aden and Jake Sweeney a chance to go to work for YOU. Over all I feel the experince was good/great. I think I am still trying to get over what i paid for the car. However after researching this car for about a month- (I bought a 2010 Infinity G37x) I feel that the price was fair for both parties. Tyrone Glover was appreciative and thanked us several times for our business.I negoiated the car with Rob Hall, Used Car mgr. He understood what I was needing/wanting and my point of view. We agreed to the price and as promised, I came down to Cincinnati on Saturday January 11th 2014 to get the car. I live in Circleville, Ohio. The F&I man, was very helpful and nice.My only negative experience was, there was another salesman directly across from Tyrones desk. This man needs a lesson or two on being professional while in the showroom and amongst other customers. This man did not have the best disposition and appeared to be in a foul mood. A black man came up and talked to this salesman that I am referring to for a second or two. As the black man left the conversation, the salesman asked for the "Boy" to came back to him. He mentioned the "Boy" term 2-3 times as the black man left the room.With that, the phone rang and the same saleman answered the phone. He was some what loud in his conversation. During the phone call, this salesman stood up and as loud and he could- coughed up a large amount of flem from the resesses of his throat and then spat the flem into the garbage can.This completly grossed me and my wife out, as it did the other couple waiting for Tyrone. It was disgusting to see such a thing while in the used car show room! Other than this negative item, over all it was a good/great experience.Thank you for the car. For many people car salespersons fall into the same category as lawyers and those from other despised professions. You only want to deal with them when absolutely necessary and just the thought of doing it is dreadful. However, I can honestly say that my experience at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet was quite pleasant. My name is Marilyn and I worked with the Vehicle Exchange Program. I wasn't exactly sure which car I was interested in when I came in. I had a 2011 Cruze and was thinking of trading it for either an Impala or a Malibu. Katie Sweeney was very friendly and after taking some info she brought in Don Smith who went over the advantages of both cars with me. It was a bitterly cold day and most of the cars still had a few inches of snow on them. Katie and Don went out in the cold to find the vehicle I wished to test drive and Don took me for a test drive where he explained all the great features of the Malibu I chose to drive. They worked with me to make my final decisions on which style and color I wanted. Once I made my decision they took me to meet Gary Lamb and Jay Wagstaff in financing. I was happy with the incentives and interest rate that I got and my payment was where I wanted to be. I got a lot more car and more options than I thought I could afford. Katie showed me how to sync my phone and how to use the Chevy MyLink option, which I was grateful for because I can barely work my smart phone. It was a great experience and I am sure I will not only recommend Jake Sweeney to my family and friends, I will be coming back for any service needed, and maybe another new car. But with as much as I like this new Malibu that may be a few years down the road.

Jay Wagstaff took excellent care of me and my wife. He was patient with us and answered all our questions when we were choosing our 2014 Traverse. We discussed my needs and he was able to give me three choices. He offered a fair trade for my 2010 Silverado. After the purchasing process he showed me and my wife how all the options worked. He paired my phone and answered all my questions. I would say the only thing he did not do was pair my garage door opener to the carThe service area and waiting room was clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. Previously brought my car in for servicing at Jake Sweeny Chevrolet on Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Oh., and was told several things were wrong with the vehicle. While waiting for the car to be ready, A Manager approached me and asked if I was interested in purchasing a new vehicle. I was thinking at the time that I couldn't afford a new vehicle and it would be best if I just fixed the one I had. However after meeting with the Manager of Vehicle Exchange and the Finance Dept., I discovered I could actually afford a newer vehicle (2013 Cruze fully loaded). I am a long time Chevrolet customer and I wanted to obtain a lower interest rate for my 2012 Equinox. I purchased my 2012 Equinox from Don Smith and I have purchase at least six (6) Cavaliers from Don since 1983. He helped me refinance my Equinox to a lower rate and I was very excited about that. I really needed a new vehicle; my loan was almost up on my car but I needed something more reliable. My credit is far from "average" but Jay kept reminding me that he would do everything he could to make sure I walked out with vehicle I wanted. Jay spent so much time going back and forth with banks, working on getting me approved for exactly what I wanted- and he did! Plus, I traded in my car and they made sure the loan was covered so it would be completely paid off! I was really worried about this for weeks; I faced some tough times a few years ago and had to defer payments, so I had about $2,800 due in less than a month or the loan would be reported as a charge off. I have been cleaning up my credit and using two credit cards to rebuild my history, but it takes time; they saved me from having a charge off on my history! They can't change the way the banking world works or the rates they set, but if you can use this program in the right way you will rebuild credit, refinance at a much lower rate and hopefully in the future go back and buy another vehicle! From the moment you walk in you get the feeling that everyone really wants to help you get the right vehicle. You're greeted with a bottled water and coffee is also available- free wi-fi and TV to watch really helps keep you busy while they are running around getting everything together for you! Everyone took the time to explain rate, payments and so much more so I knew exactly what I was getting into. I did not feel pressured to buy, I only felt like they really wanted to help me! If you need to trade in your car, go to Jake Sweeney in Springdale- they will do everything they can to get you into a more reliable vehicle!

My husband and I went in for a vehicle exchange. We had a car that we loved but it just wasn't practical for us any longer. We went in looking for something that would be good for adding to our family and better on gas with all the driving we do. The employees at Jake Sweeney treated us like we were family. They were so nice and offered us whatever we needed, talked to us, joked around with us and pretty much put us at ease. They got us a deal on a brand new car paying less than we were for the used car we bought previously. I was contacted by Mr. Smith for a better refinancing rate. I purchased new Chevrolet about 6 months earlier. They could offer me a better refinancing rate to save me money on my loan. I give this dealership the top rating, here is my story, I owned a 2011 Chevy Cruze LTZ, I was getting it serviced for a recall aon a switch. I was asked how I liked my Cruze and I told them I wished I would have gotten the Malibu for more room, then they introduced me to the "AutoExchange" program. This is an excelant program and it allowed me to upgrade to a 2013 Malibu LTZ with a little more down and basically I kept my payment the same. They trated me like a was special, and I felt that it was very sincere. I have been dealing with Jake Sweeney Chevrolet for about 15 years, you might think this is biased, but wait, I would not come back if I did not think this place was taking care of me to the maximum level of customer service! Every Employee was on top of every detail. They spent time with me showing all the options on the car and told me I could come back anytime if I had any questions.

Although I live in Euclid, Ohio (4 hours away), I tried to shop around and heed the advise of my younger brother Darrin Aden. No matter where we looked, I just wasn't comfortable with what I was being offered, or trying to be sold. Finally I decided to trust the real honest professional and come down, and see what he had to offer. First of all, the pre-qualification, and leg work was done 1 week, prior to coming down. That was the biggest relief, just knowing what we had to work with, the parameters, the carfax information and the internet information to view our options. When we arrived, we were met with warm smiles, greetings and salutations. Darrin had the cars lined up, warmed up and ready for test drives. My daughter and I was so pleased with whole process. Needless to say, we are happy, satisfied and very grateful that we made the trip to Cincinnati to purchase my 22 year old daughter, her first car, from her Uncle Darrin at Jake Sweeney!! I just wanted to express my gratitude towards your service department and Justin Schwierjohann. My husband brought our 2009 Saturn Outlook in because we were having issues with the A/C going out. The repair was going to take 2-3 days so we would need a loaner car. At first, we were told we would only be able to get a full sized car because that's all you had left. The next morning I called Justin and explained to him that we had four children under the age of 6 who are all in booster seats and car seats. Justin was quick to check what was available and found us a Suburban! (Which we are in love with now!) That really let me know that he cared about the safety of my family.When we got our Saturn back, my husband noticed some cosmetic damages and some of the buttons no longer worked. He made Justin aware of the problems and he immediately apologized and had us bring the truck back in to rectify the issues. The Suburban was still available so we took that and waited to hear from Justin. When we got our truck back, it looked great!! The service department gave it a great detail and fixed what they could. The service manager apologized for the damages that were made. I really appreciate that kind of customer service. I just wanted to say thank you!

We've been dealing with buying our used vehicle since Aug. 31st and it's been non stop hassles and issues. No one returns calls. No one wants to help. And we get lip from the sales person we bought from. There were issues with the first loan, so a second set of paperwork was filled out. Lo and behold only the first set was sent thru after being assured that everything would be fine and the second set would nullify the first. It's been a headache. We've been buying used vehicles forever and have NEVER had the problems that we've had with Jake Sweeney. We will NEVER buy from Jake Sweeney again, and will urge everyone we know not to deal with them.

I called Jake Sweeney Chevrolet in Cincinnati, OH about buying a particular 2013 Camaro SS,2 I had seen online. I spoke to salesman Darrin Aden in the Internet Sales Division. I told him my name and number in Dayton, OH to check to see if the Camaro was still available. Darrin responded back within minutes and the car was still there. If I wanted he would have the car ready to show and test drive when I arrived. Sure enough Darrin had the car cleaned, fueled up and ready to go. The car was exactly as stated an looked even better in person, I bought it on the spot! Darrin was pleasant an attentive to what I wanted to work with. His manager J.C. I was in the market for a new car. I had a 1999 Chevy Prism and it was time for an upgrade. I did a little research online prior to setting up an appointment to look at a car and test drive. The Internet Sales Manager, J.C. Baker, and I spoke prior to my appointment, about my specific needs and my anxiety, as this was my first car purchase. I was then linked up with Jared Hale, who would assist me in my car hunt. Jared was amazing! He really took time to listen to my specific wants and needs. I was able to test drive several vehicles, and when I had a question, he answered honestly. Aaron White, who also assisting me in the financial aspect, was much more than helpful. He explained everything in a clear manner, was very understanding, and honest as well. I purschased a 2013 Cruze, and I can whole-heartedly say, that I absolutely LOVE EVERYTHING about my vehicle!!! I feel safe, and comfortable, and my payments are affordable! They did such a wonderful job meeting my needs and the customer service was incredible. The peace of mind that I have now, is priceless! I worked with Jared and Aaron on finding the new car I wanted. Even though the car we found was not on their lot, they had it for me the next day. When I arrived the car was spotless, paperwork was almost complete a head of time, and when going over the car features, Jared was extremely knowledgeable of all of them and took his time explaining everyone of them. No rushing !!!! Even though I've purchased other cars from Jake Sweeney in the past, these guys made this the best purchasing experience yet. I will continue to go here for cars and, as always, continue to use their Service Dept., which I feel is the best in the area.

She set up a meeting with Darrin Aden for the weekend and when my boyfriend and I arrived at the dealership they were having a prayer circle and they asked us to join and we did. So I'll be honest. I was expecting the stereotypical car dealer experience with the guy trying to sell me something I didn't want or pressuring me to buy. My experiences in the past told me to expect the worst. What I got was the complete opposite. The salesman Marty was great!! He never once made me feel pressure to buy and he worked with me. I feel like most dealers and salesmen work against you. In that their prices are set in stone and they defend themselves for having bad product, and they make you feel not confident. Marty however did not do this. He was the one pointing out the scratches in some of the cars. It was nice to have a sales person doing that. It really made me feel like he had my interests. Even though my Dad was with me it was like having another Dad there helping me.I can not stress the importance of how refreshing it was to have a sales person working with/for me. We test drove some cars and I did find the perfect one. When discussing the final price I gave him a number and I didn't get that stupid run around like "are you nuts?"..."We can't do that low we have to keep the lights on!". He just wrote down the number and what we wanted and didn't fuss about it. It was so nice to not have to fight for a price. The only down side of my experience was there was an issue with a clip on the car but they fixed it for me and gave me a fun loaner car for the afternoon. Overall I was very impressed with this experience. I think everyone can agree in that buying a car from a dealership can be very stressful, and that crappy salesmen stereotypes exist for a reason. I didn't have any of those issues here. I strongly recommend this dealership if you want a stress free car buying experience.

I purchased my last two cars from Jake Sweeney, an Impala, then an HHR, both new. I had no problem with the Impala so my experience with the service department was minimal. With the HHR was a different story. First I came in to purchase a new rim and I was told I had to turn in the old rim or pay a $50.00 charge. I thought I owned the rims when I bought the car. So I said fine just remove the tire off the rim and you can have it, BUT NO HIS SORRY HINDEND could not get off that stool the whole 5 minutes it would have taken to do that so I had to leave and go all the way back to Middletown and go to my appointment then get the tire off the rim then drive all the way back to Jake Sweeney to get my $50.00 back. RIDICULOUS. Next I came in to have my air conditioner fixed and I was told my warranty would not cover it because I had the car worked on and someone over filled the unit. THAT WAS AN OUTRIGHT LIE. NO ONE WORKED ON THE AIR CONDITIONER BUT JAKE SWEENEY. So that cost me $600.00 dollars out of my pocket. Then I get a call recently from a manager of some sort there who again implies I am a liar. Now I'm wondering if I was not ripped off somehow and the longer I think about it the madder I get. I'm thinking it might be best to talk with an attorney on this matter and see if a possible police report should be filed and/or a possible law suit should be considered. I had let it go and chalked it up to just a bad experience with you people but you keep sending me mail and calling me. THIS YOU HAVE MY WORD ON AND UNLIKE YOU MY WORD IS GOOD I will make it a point to tell everyone, every chance I get what dishonest and despicable in character I think you people are. You were really nice to me until you got my money and I had to deal with your service department. My next new car will be a Ford and Jake Sweeney will NEVER EVER see another penny of my money. Aaron White was just outstanding to work with. He completely understands the phrase, "no hassle buying," in my humble opinion. I never felt pressured, nor threatened by some sort of spurious deadline like so many other dealers attempt to impose. And I don't think he could have been more helpful in my search for the right vehicle. He worked up numerous quotes, looking at cars from numerous dealers in an effort to get me what I wanted. I came in with crazy credit that I knew could not possibly be approved. Until I came to here and they worked with my credit and the monthly payment I was willing to do and they found a vehicle that matched my height and requested features. The only thing left was waiting for the vehicle to be properly checked and detailed. Jared Hale was so proactive with checking up on me and giving me the status of the vehicle that I wanted. I hate the hassle of buying new cars. My wife and I had just left Kings Auto Mall after getting the "run around" with questions such as "how much do you want to pay a month?" or "how much do you want for your trade in?" Whenever asked these questions I feel it leaves yourself vunerable to paying more than you have to. Our travels led us to Jake Sweeney Chevrolet and Aaron White. Aaron can be described as honest, straight forward, funny and most of all sincere. Whatever issues I had a other dealerships went away with Aaron. He worked hard and was very open, honest and straight forward with not only cost, but the best offer up front on trade in. He took away the frustration of the typical experience. My mechanic contacted a manager in the service department after my Cobalt's fuel pump began leaking. They informed him that there was a recall on the fuel pump and that it would be fixed with no charge. After having the car towed to the dealership, the service technician called me and said no such recall existed. However, the mechanic had provided the paperwork in the car and the service manager contacted me and once again confirmed that the work would be completed for free, that my car's VIN matched the recall and that it would be completed by today. Today I was contacted by the service manager who stated that my car was not covered in the recall, stated that I Should Have Read the Recall More Closely and that it would cost me $700 for them to fix since the recall is for cars that were purchased and/or registered in other states. When I stated that I would have it towed away rather than paying that extreme price (mechanic can complete the work for half that price) they stated that I would owe them a diagnostic fee... for diagnosing what was already stated when the car arrived.This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. The service manager has lied to my face several times and takes no accountability for the promises that he makes. THIS WOULD BE FIXED BY NOW IF THE SERVICE MANAGER HAD NOT LIED TO ME. I cannot believe that any business can succeed with these terrible business practices and lack of accountability.

Our experience in purchasing a used vehicle was very long. We were at the dealership over 4 hours and I feel that is just too long to be waiting and sitting around. I did manage to get a good test drive in during this time and noticed a vibration in the right front. I pointed it out to our sales person and he didn't seem to concerned about it. The vehicle also had two active recalls which were not addressed. The dealership had this vehicle since January and they should have been taken of instead of waiting for someone to buy. One of the recalls was due to the inner fender liner rubbing directly on the brake line. Can you imagine if a customer test drove and then couldn't stop because the brake line had be rubbed through? I would think this is an example of dealer negligence. That very night, our vehicle was experiencing a large screech in the same right front. The screeching became louder and louder. In addition to this screech, our sales person did not put a temporary tag on the back of the vehicle. He apologized but passed the blame on to a lot tech. There was no lot tech that evening. I was very put off. Why can't you just accept the blame? How do you forget to put a temporary tag on a vehicle you just sold? Can you imagine if we would have been pulled over? There would have been a fine.Sales people, whether new or used, need to be up to date on the vehicle they are trying to sell. I was very fortunate nothing happened to me and my husband. I took the vehicle back to the dealer on Friday and was not very happy. A young man by the name of Troy, listened to all of my concerns and immediately began the process of fixing my complaints. The vehicle needed brakes and I was shocked the dealership sold us this vehicle without making sure it was road worthy. I do hope all involved learn from this experience. I am currently awaiting my new vehicle I purchased last Thursday.

I'd resisted all sorts of pressure tactics, and Tyrone didn't waste any on me.After listening to what I was looking for, he suggested a car to me that he thought might fit the bill. It wasn't exactly what I had been looking for, but it did fit what I wanted and was really comfortable. I test drove a few cars, but his pick (one of the lowest priced of the lot, too) was what I went with. I had heard plenty of horror stories about buying at dealers, and I've been pressured and had dealers try all sorts of tricks to get me to take a car before. What sold me on buying from Jake Sweeney was the people and the company. Once we had discussed everything and I had decided I did want to buy the car, they bent over backwards to work with me on the price for a lack of down payment.I left with a new car, feeling very good about the purchase, and over a year later I still feel that way. When I'm ready to buy another car, Jake Sweeney will be at the top of my list.

Tyrone was friendly, courteous and honest. I am appreciative of his candor during the decision making process. Everything went smoothly with the purchase. He even took care of arranging my follow-up maintenance appointment which was helpful considering I have two small children at home. I will definitely recommend Tyrone to my friends and family.

I received quotes from various dealerships and also spoke with their internet sales teams. I felt very comfortable working with JC Baker; Internet Consultant from Jake Sweeney as he was very open, friendly, honest, and worked hard to get us the best deal available. In addition, the trade in amount that we received for our car was far better than any other offers that we received from other dealerships. I strongly feel that working with JC was one of the best business transactions I have ever made. JC is the best in my book. He is not only good at what he does; he will go out of his way to answer any questions you may have and search for the best deal for you. JC is very professional at what he does and it is clear that he cares for the customer. I worked with other internet sales personnel at the other dealerships that I received quotes from and after speaking with the sales staff, none of them compared to working with JC. It is very clear that JC likes working with people and his professionalism was a 10 out of 10. I have been a Quality Manager for numerous years and in today's world, caring for the customer is number one! JC does exactly that....caring for the customer! I am sure that JC will move up the ladder at Jake Sweeney and he deserves all rights to do so. I wish his well and I look forward to working with JC on any future car purchase. This dealership has been very good from a customer standpoint. The sales representative Joe Wilson was very polite, nice and very easy to talk with. He did not try to force a sale on me and I never felt pressured into my purchase.

By far the easiest purchase I've ever had. Don Scott is very knowledgeable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and see him before anyone else! Closing literally took about an hour. He's very thorough on explaining the different options/functions of the vehicle.

When I drove away in my new car I felt I had a good working knowledge of how to handle it.I would go back if I needed a car and I plan to take this car in when it needs routine maintenance.

I worked with JC Baker. JC was very attentive, candid in his approach, genuinely seemed like he cared, and was not at all pushy! I usually have a lot of reservations with major purchases, but JC made this an easy and memorable experience! During my visit i was looking at a 2008 corvette and yea I am a little bit younger but very serious with a substantial down payment. I expected to be treated with respect the same as the next guy. The salesman was telling me about the car and couldn't remember the style exhaust that was put on it so he asked a coworker and he replied I don't know... unless he's writing a check it won't matter anyway. I can understand being skeptical but keep it to yourself. That was probably the most disrespectful thing someone could have said. After that I left and ended up buying a cts-v from another dealer. Saved money and still got an awesome car with corvette power.

When I was looking to trade in my cobalt I wanted something bigger since I have 3 kids and they wouldn't be so crammed in! I contacted several dealerships before Jake Sweeney and the other dealers wanted to sell me what they wanted to at the time. So when I contacted Aaron White on the website I told him what I was looking for and how much I could afford a month and he was great he got me exactly what I wanted and I am now the new owner of a 2012 Chevy Traverse and I couldn't be happier I love it the kids love it and we are all happy!!!!! I worked with Darrin Aden to try to purchase a used vehicle. While my credit situation is abhorrent, Darrin took the time to work with me to find a way to make it all happen. I have not purchased a car yet, but will be back once I straighten out some bad credit marks. Darrin has me sold as a customer without really selling me anything.

I came to Jake Sweeney after being treated vary poorly at a competitor. Jeff meet me at the door and quickly arranged a rest drive of the vehicle that I was interested in. Before we left the lot, Jeff explained all of the functions of the car to me. Most of the salesmen that I have worked with in the past (at other dealers) have never displayed this knowledge. This was the smothest most enjoyable car buys that I have ever had.

Went on 1/26/07 to look at an advertised used car. Was told 'they sold it while you were test driving it'. Was high pressured to buy something we did not want at a price we told them we did not want to pay. We did settle on another car like we were looking for at a decent price. However, the dealer offered to furnish us with a new hubcap, and reimburse us for a tank of gas. After hounding them for 2 weeks, the hubcap finally arrived at our house. It has been a month of lies for the reimbursment check, which we still have not received. The salesman lied about it being 'in the mail'. We went so far as to talk to a Sweeney, he also lied about mailing the check. We are happy with the automobile (so far), but I would never go back to a dealership that places so little value on customer service.

I wanted to buy a 07 Aveo (Sedan), so I paid them a visit to test drive one and see what cars they had in stock and what specials, if any, they were running.After test driving a 5 speed Aveo LS we sat down with the sales rep. I had already researched the Aveo and I knew I wanted an Aveo LT with ABS; to save a little, I wanted a 5 speed, but was willing to take an automatic if they would come down on the price REALLY close to the Edmunds TMV price for the equivalent 5 speed with ABS. They had a car in the exhibition floor that seemed to fit the bill, it was a gray LT. After telling the sales rep that I would consider buying this car for X amount of money plus TTL, he wanted me to sign a piece of paper in which I was promising to buy said car at that X price plus TTLF (notice the additional "F" for "Fees"). I said NO, I am not signing anything, to which he said that it would be very difficult for him to convince his manager to go for that price; I said I don't care, just ask him. So while he is "asking" his manager, I find that this car had no ABS anyway (the main requirement I had), I left at this point.Imagine if I had signed this "promise of purchase"! They could have sneaked any kind of Fees thanks to that additional "F"; since Taxes, Title and License are pretty much set and known, thanks to that additional "F" they could have more than made up for any "discounts" from the MSRP; hell, they could have used it to go way past full MSRP if they wanted. And since I was promising to purchase, it didn't matter to them that I needed my car with ABS and this car didn't have it, at that point they could have said: well you promised and signed this paper, so pay up.I had never had this kind of experience with any dealer before or since. It is just like one of those horror stories of dealing with used car salespeople.

Have had my (bought) car for over 5 years and have always had exemplary repair service. Have also leased a second car two times in the past 3 years with Sweeney, and again, have had only positive experiences.
