Who could imagine buying a car becoming a significant emotional and life experience? I had to put my beloved, no-longer-manufactured car to rest and trade in an inherited vintage auto tht was on my deceased sister's bucket list. One of the last things my spouse and I discussed prior to his death was what car would replace my Saturn. The VW Golf line was selected and I awaited the introduction of the VW SportsWagen.Tears and nervousness accompanied this buyer as she walked into Jim Ellis. I had already experienced a soothing talk over the phone and LARRY FITZPATRICK was waiting on me. The car, the make, the color desired was parked in the lot. All I had to do was give up these vehicles that had such an emotional connection with me. Larry, with the skill of an experienced counselor and sales professional guided me through the experience with patience, respect, and humor. I recommend Jim Ellis and Larry to anyone who needs a great car and super-guide through the process. Jim Ellis and Larry continue to check up on me and invite me to events like a family member. Had a great experience buying a car from Larry Fitzpatrick the Tall Hawaiian. He was professional, funny, straight with you, and made us feel totally comfortable throughout the entire process. I had gone to look at cars at several other places and even though they weren't all bad, there was still that uncomfortable pressure of them trying to get u to buy as high and fast as possible. There was none of that here at all. Mr Fitzpatrick stuck with us the entire day, just hanging out, looking over models, and in general making it feel like there was all the time in the world. The process went by in "Hawaiian Time" and we were totally relaxed after leaving 6 hours later with my new GTI. Yea, I know this sounds like a cheap upsell but he is 100% awesome, hit him up and you'll see what I mean.

Before making the trip to Jim Ellis I did an enormous amount of research to find the car I wanted. I ended up choosing the Honda Accord and I found a one owner, great condition 2014 EX model on Jim Ellis's lot. I arrived and was greeted by Seth Rogers. He quickly and efficiently found out my purpose, got the keys and showed me the car. He was very professional and honest. I was happy to find the photos on the website and true car app were accurate and the car drove very well. I had saved the car on true car at a lower price than the sticker and Seth, without any trouble, said he would have no problem honoring the online price, which was significantly cheaper! (always do your research! It pays off!) After leaving the lot to test drive a different car, I found I could not beat the deal and niceness of the 1st car and came back! Frank Dickenson, one of the sales managers, assured me the car was in good shape after I asked to have their mechanic look it over and I decided to make the purchase. Seth, Frank, and Will, the finance officer, were all very professional and did their jobs honestly and politely. I was very happy to give them my business.

The staff at Jim Ellis VW Kennesaw was fantastic. We intended to purchase a car for our college son and left with 2 vehicles. We were so impressed with the staff, dealership and VW quality, that we decided to leave our BMW behind for a 2nd purchase. The entire process was very efficient and without stress. Bought our second VW from Jim Ellis this weekend. Seth Rogers and Tina Holland were top notch! We never felt pressured to buy as has been the case in the past with other dealerships. Experience was wonderful and short. Both the Sales Manager, Frank Dickenson and Seth Rogers Brand Specialist were great. Gave me the price I wanted and also went over the car in detail and showed me around the facility. I purchased the Volkswagen Beetle and the car is well worth the money. Rides nice, interior is nice, and it has just what I need in a car. Thank you for making my night great!

I was involved in a recent car accident in which my own car was totaled. 3 days later, I had a beautiful certified-pre owned vehicle in immaculate condition and very low mileage. I had received quotes from other dealerships on this same day, and not one was able to even compare to the offer in which Jim Ellis Volkswagen was able to provide to me. Specifically, Oleg Robu. He met me in the parking lot as soon as I entered, and was very helpful in narrowing my scope of vehicles within my preferred price range. Once it became apparent that no other dealership within the area was as friendly, helpful and cost efficient as Jim Ellis Volkswagen, I returned to see Oleg. Within a matter of hours I was through the quick process of purchasing and financing (thanks to Matt Rock's efforts), and was on my way out of the parking lot behind the wheel of my beautiful new car; complete with a courtesy full-tank of gas, and a perfectly detailed and washed interior and exterior. The perks of the outstanding customer service and the great warranty offer on an amazing car can never outweigh purchasing from a private owner or car lot. I had just moved to the area, I wanted something affordable, reliable, and in my budget. I didn't have any money to put down, so they were trying to help me out as much as they could. They then asked me if I thought about leasing a car, and let me test drive a 2016 VW Jetta. I loved it!!! They gave me a great deal and threw out the process they made my mom, my daughter, and myself feel like family. They took the time to get to know us, we talked about where we were from, family, and football! They took care of us from beginning to end, explaining everything very well, and even helped me get insurance. This is my first time purchasing a car and it couldn't have been a better experience! We wandered onto the Jim Ellis Volkswagen Kennesaw lot like most people--we just wanted to "look around." Jose came out and asked us if he could help. By that time we did have some questions: the sticker prices on the car were much higher than what we'd seen online--had we been tricked? Had we missed something? Jose explained the difference in prices (the Internet price is the right price) and we started to talk about the used Jettas on the lot. He helped us figure out the best deal for our money and we had signed the paperwork on the car by the end of the night. While we ended up feeling as though the dealership itself was a bit tight with its purse strings both on the trade and sale sides of the deal, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Jose. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we came back to the dealership about a week later to buy a second Jetta with Jose. While he was actually away on military leave, he was able to be part of the process at our request along with Mark Shaw (who was also a pleasure to work with). For our second Jetta purchase, we worked with Matt Rock in the finance department and he was very helpful in setting up an extended warranty for both of our cars...helped us with peace of mind about our used car purchases. We've been back to visit Jose several times since purchasing these cars and while the reasons included actual errands we needed to run, the best part was to check in with Jose.

The compassion that was shown and the care provided to me was exceptional. Jim Ellis VW has been consistently top-notch with the level of service and attention they have afforded. This last experience was their time to shine and they excelled. Another VW dealer really dropped the ball but Bill Kinney and the service department seized that opportunity to reassure me that they value loyalty and understand that regular customers are to be valued.Others should take notes since Jim Ellis's customer service standards and product are considerably better than the rest.

I had a great experience thus far with this dealership.. Was treated well, not pushy.. I dealt with Larry Fitzpatrick.. He was new, to V W from what I understood. But he was someone I would deal with again.. I have already carried my car back to get a key made , and they all wer courteous and treated me well. I again was greeted by Larry.. I feel like we won a friend as well as a car dealer.. All the people that we dealt with there were courteous , and up about their business, and we were very please.. I love my Car....

I had a really good experience at this dealership. Buying a brand new car is a first for me. I was looking at the new VW Jetta. my sales rep Steve, showed me a few different cars, letting me know what options were available. I ended up with the Sporty TSI model which I love. The waiting lounge/rooms was very inviting and the showroom itself was very clean and bright. The buying process was straight forward but the paperwork took a long time to get through. Other than that my experience was great.

I went in with some pretty specific numbers that worked for my budget and not only did they meet my numbers they were able to get me even better financing than the pre-approved that I came in with and rather than try to shave that off the discount they were providing they passed that along to the numbers they had already beat. I was really expecting it to be a short visit but they listened, acted and we "got the deal done" and went home the same day with my new car. Have dealt with the Jim Ellis auto group with my Audi and my experience today shows that was not an isolated "great" dealership but that it is a culture at all Jim Ellis dealers.

He was friendly, not pushy, courteous, and showed extreme interest in helping me get the truck I wanted. I went to get a basic oil change on my car. I also wanted them to check to see why my check engine light was on. They said they were going to do a diagnostic test on my car. So I told them to call me to let me know what was wrong before doing any work. They called me to inform me that my computer system in my car need to be updated and they quoted me a price. I told they guy on the phone that I don't want any work done and I was coming back to get my car. I lived across the street. Once I got back they did the work I asked them not to do and charge me three times what I was going to pay. I asked to speak with the guy I talked to over the phone they said he wasn't there nor did he relay the message of me not wanting anything done to my car.... They will NEVER SEE ME AGAIN....

6 months ago, I brought my car because of a leak on my back passenger right carpet. Coincidentally, my window was smashed three months before, so when they inspected my car they found glass. They called me and asked if the wet carpet was the result of my broken window -fair assumption-. I told them NO. They did not find the leak origin and they concluded the water entered my car when it was broken. They dried my carpet. Luckily for me, the leak started again and I brought my car again to this Dealership, they remembered my case and told me AGAIN it was because my broken window and I have lost my guarantee before even checking it. I told them it was a really bad customer service. I went to another Dealership, Kuhn of Marietta. They found the leak and they are fixing my car under my Guarantee.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JIM ELLIS OF KENNESAW

I came to Jim Ellis as a young first-time buyer, and I was feeling totally overwhelmed by all the details involved in buying and financing a car. Maged Roushdi was absolutely incredible. He found a handful of great cars in my price range and took me out to test-drive them, but I needed time to think about it and compare the details. In the week between my first and second visit to the dealership, I contacted him a few times with questions, and he was so patient and helpful. I never once felt pressured to make a quick decision or to choose something outside my budget. Once I decided on a car, he worked with his managers to get me an awesome deal, and walked me through the financing process and happily chatted with me while we waited for a decision. There was a hiccup with my cosigner (a relative out of state), which had me in tears, but Maged was quick to calm me down and assure me that we'd figure it out and find a solution. Luckily I had another relative in-state who agreed to cosign. He stayed almost two hours past his shift to wait for her to come to the dealership to sign papers with me so I could go home with my new car that night! I was blown away by the level of dedication he showed. It was the definition of going "above and beyond." I can't imagine anyone else making me feel more comfortable throughout that process. I was in great hands, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the market for a car.

This is my second purchase from Jim Ellis VW of Kennesaw! My first purchase was a used 2011 Jetta 2.5 SE. Jackie was outstanding and I feel like I ow her everything for getting me the perfect car for my situation. That was my first ever purchase of a car from a dealer and I recommend all of my friends looking for a new car to go to her first!I drove the Jetta for a year and made an impulse decision to buy a 2016 GTI. I had worked with Maged before while my girlfriend was looking for a car and decided to ask him about the GTI I saw in the lot. Maged was awesome! He let me take it for a spin and was willing to work with me. Matt Rock was the last person that helped me and he did everything in his power to get the right deal for me. Very friendly guy. I was nervous as ever trying to buy this car and he kept me calm. I found my self walking out with the car I have wanted since I was a kid! The people who served me at this dealership were great! They knew their products, were extremely personable, and went "above the call" to meet or exceed all our needs. I have bought many new cars over the past 30 years but have never been treated as professionally and courteously as I was treated when I bought my new VW Passat. The sales manager personally drove to another dealer a couple hours away to get my car because they didn't currently have the color combination I wanted in stock - AND HE DID IT ON HIS DAY OFF! Now, that's service!I traded up to the 2014 Passat TDI SEL which I love! I love all the "creature comforts" on the SEL model and the performance/power of the clean diesel - but I REALLY love the mileage I am getting (almost 50 miles/gal on the highway).If you want a great ride, at a great price, but don't want a bad buying experience go see this dealer.
