Took my car in tone looked at for a problem and was told no one can get to it today should you like to schedule for a appointment. I scheduled the appointment and had to wait over a hour before I got up to question why no one has seen my car. I requested my keys so I can go to another dealer. They said they should get someone to look at it in a few minutes. Gentlemen came to take on test ride just for them to reschedule me agin to look at the problem. Will not return.. What was the purpose of the appointment.

It was a pleasure working with Sherri. She found the car that fit our needs and made sure we were smiling ear to ear upon delivery. We spent a long time looking all over for a safe vehicle that would help get us to work and the beach. So glad that we found Sherri at John Donoghue. We got a great deal!!! Will definitely be back. Sherri Buffkin is the BEST! I even met some of the service staff. Fast financing, great experience all together. I will be back. The Pope and Mr.Donoghue are pretty great, too! I had NO IDEA they would be as nice as they were. I have been to other dealerships over the years (didn't get anything), I have NEVER been treated this well by a group of folks who are professional but definitely not cold. EVERYBODY is nice! That's GREAT customer service and a great experience. 5 stars cross the board from me! I'm getting 40 MPG, smiling as I pass the gas stations.

On the weekend of June 27th I traveled from Michigan to North Carolina to pick up a used vehicle I had purchased from John Donoghue. Wayne Brown was my salesmen. Prior to traveling down Wayne said that the car was in great shape and he would not hesitate to drive it back to Michigan. Taking his word, I came down with my trade in and picked up the Volvo. After driving 14 hours I was tired and wanted to get in and out but before that I wanted to get the car on the lifts to check it out, I was denied that because your service department was closed on Saturday. To begin, there was a taillight out. Before I left the dealership I had to put the plate back on my trade in and go to a local auto parts store to get a taillight and change it myself on the lot. Not to mention tires were bald, all four struts need to be replaced, and the CV boots are torn. Now I understand that this was an AS IS used car deal BUT I would have appreciated the truth when asking about the condition of the car. If I was told that all four struts were bad and that the tires were bald I would not have driven over 600 miles down there to get the car. It has been almost three weeks and my credit union still has not received the check for the trade in amount nor have I received the title. I had a horrible experience with John Donoghue and now know not to trust out of state dealers. Like I said, I know it is an AS IS used car deal but up front details are important especially when driving from out of state.

I was interested in buying a certified used car, I found on website. They were easy to deal with and not pushy. My only complaint is they did not seem very interested in pursing my interest in the vehicle. But, overall was a good experience;.

My husband and I were interested in a pre owned Avalanche. They could never tell us if they could finance us or not. After 4 days of this, we then told them that our bank would finance it, They refuse to give us any final price for us to tell our bank. Anthony Lundsford was the salesman, it was one lie after the other. They have lost all of our business!
Looking for a truck

I enquired about a vehicle on the cars.com website at this dealership. I was never replied to in any way, no call, no email. So I finally called the dealership myself to ask about a truck I had interest in, it was listed on Cars.com and the dealers website. When I called to ask my question about the vehicle I was told they were not sure if it was for sale because the owners son was driving it. I don't understand why a vehicle is advertised in several places but not for sale, just wasted my time.
