UPDATED 2021: I always told the guys at John Watson Chevrolet I'd give them first shot at selling me a new car when I was ready. And Ivan was incredible. Don't go anywhere else. They are not pushy, they are very knowledgeable and very transparent. In fact, I was kind of getting apprehensive and Ivan said, "If you aren't feeling good about this, please don't do it. I couldn't sleep at night knowing you had buyer's remorse. Let's just wait until you feel good about everything." He would then check in to see how my search was going. I am so happy with my new truck. 2017: I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. The service department is great. Bryan is always very welcoming and accommodating. I see negative reviews on here, and I have never had these experiences. The facilities are great.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from John Watson. Great easy experience. Dennis helped us again find a nice used car for our family. No pressure sales, NO extra fees tacked on like other close by dealerships, just the doc fee. We agreed upon the price and then they gave me a very fair price on my trade. Finance dept was great, no surprises on the back end. Entire team at John Watson was great. Will continue to use this dealership for purchases as well as services.

I have been looking for a good used Corvette for a while now. I saw what looked like the perfect car on the John Watson Chevy website. I called the dealership and was connected with Ivan in sales. A Long story made short, he and I discussed the vehicle and he helped me get a “ball park” trade in value on my vehicle. I drove over from Colorado, honestly a little worried about doing most of the transaction over the phone. Well, I had nothing to worry about, the team I met with at John Watson did exactly as they told me they would! That, and the car honestly exceeded my expectation, it was/is perfect! I don’t live in Utah, so these folks really owed me nothing. What they gave me was honestly and respect! If you live in Utah or western Wyoming and want a Chevy vehicle, do not hesitate to talk to Ivan or any of the team at John Watson! Honestly, when I am in the market again, I would drive the 7 hours to Ogden to be treated like this again. They are really a great dealership, 5 stars, 10 out of 10 to me!

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I have been casually looking for several months and Dennis has been very patient and low key. He never pressured me at all and seemed like he genuinely was trying to help my find the right car for me, and not just trying to pressure me into buying any car I looked at. He was always willing to show me anything without pressure, which I really appreciated. This is why I kept coming back and eventually found the right vehicle and purchased it from them. The buying process was super easy, laid back and low key. Even Terrell in the finance office was great. He offered me some other warranty products but was very respectful of my decision and didn't push it further. He was very kind. I always dread buying cars and dealing with the headaches but this experience overall was a great, pleasant, experience, and I am very picky about who I will work with. If I'm not treated respectfully I don't come back. I would definitely buy here again. Thank you!

I feel from the first phone call with Bryan Hymas (in the service department) I was treated rudely and with disregard. When I told him the wires and plugs were covered by an internal recall memo; he blatantly stated there is no internal memo for that! Makes you feel like your being called a liar. I told him I would find it print it and bring it in.-----By the second phone call Bryan admitted there was an internal bulletin but it did not apply to our situation because of carbon buildup.---- the recall also covered PLUGS so??? (MEMO 10250 for reference)When we told Bryan that this issue was addressed with a different dealership and should not have gone defective within 5,000 miles he told us that what we're saying was like comparing getting a bad hamburger at one McDonalds and trying to return it to another. Our response is CHEVROLET Chevrolet?---------I spoke with Mr. Morgan who I was told is the Asst. Manager of John Watson Chevrolet I explained the above distasteful rude treatment by Bryan. The response, I felt like Mr. Watson was condoning that behavior as he never apologized or better yet had Bryan apologize. He seemed to be not phased of Bryan's behavior like it was a normal occurrence and we were just another invoice.------------The real issue is that the plugs and wires should have been fixed with non defective parts the first time. Because they were not this caused the EGR valve to go bad and ended up costing us $700+. Which to us is a lot of mone and groceries.. Mr. Morgan said they would refund us 10% or the equivalent about $63 was refunded of of $735.We plan on opening a claim and writing in a letter to GM. ------------This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth and makes me feel like I never want o own another Chevrolet, one quick google search will bring up hundreds of pages of customer complaints with the Equinox. I feel like the heartbeat of America has turned into the heartache of America! So disappointed in this dealership!!!! Also as a courtesy even Jiffy lube will fill your tires with air if the inflate light is on, this service department simply ignored it.

The moment I walked in the doors at John Watson Chevrolet I felt right at home. Cam and Corey Watson listened to what I was looking for and found exactly what I wanted. I have been to other dealerships in this area and their sales teams pressure and pressure to a point that it is very uncomfortable. I brought my Silverado in for an oil change appointment on Friday morning at 7:45. Once I arrived the service adviser notified me that there was a recall to reprogram the transfer case and that it would take 1/2 hour longer. I said that was fine. 10:15 am is when I finally left. Apparently they did the recall and then either forgot about my oil change or putt all other oil changes ahead of mine. After seeing about 3 customers leave before me who all showed up after me I asked if it was almost done. This was at about 9 o'clock and they said they had already completed the reprogramming recall and were just finishing it up the oil change however I continued to wait for over another hour. Not a good experience whatsoever. We had ski passes good for that day up at beaver mountain and I was hoping for a quick lube early in the morning and to be on my way. This pushed our whole day back and feel like I was robbed of my day and money, even though the oil change was covered under my new vehicle maintenance plan. Being a former GM employee and die hard Chevy Fan, I will definitely take my business to other dealers.

The service dept is pretty good. About the only thing I can think of they can improve on is providing the used/bad part when they replace something. There is a check box on the early bird service form to get those parts, but they don't provide them. Other than that I am extremely happy with the service.

I had received a flyer in the mail about truck month on Chevy's. I was curious as to what they could do for me as this would have been the 6th vehicle that I would have purchased from them over the years. This would be the 4th truck. I decided to go down to the dealership that Friday night instead of waiting till Saturday. I met with a young man named Angel Alcala. He proceeded to look at my truck that was in very good shape and then we looked at the Chevy 2015/16 HD 3500. We went for a test drive and I was very impressed with the truck. Angel was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. It handled so well and the ride was so much smoother than my 2007. When we were back at the dealership we talked and Cory made me quite an offer on my trade as well as on the new truck. I decided to take the offer. Angel even came to my home to help me remove my fifth wheel hitch from my trade and picked it up so it could be installed in my new Chevy. I am impressed and I love the truck!!! Andrue Hellstrom our salesman, was very pleasant, kind and patient with my vacillation on the color and type of Equinox I wanted, 1LT, 2 LT or LTZ. When I finally made up my mind on color, he was so kind and let me know there was not one available on their lot in that color and found me one in SLC and had it brought up. Andrue was very knowledgeable about the vehicle in every way. He took the time to sit inside and show me all the features, how they worked and paired my bluetooth for me as well. I recently contacted their parts and service departments to get a part ordered and replaced on my car due to a factory recall. In addition to having the part replaced GMC was offering a gift card to those who completed to necessary replacement by Dec 31 2014. Therefore, my initial call to have the part ordered occurred early in November so as to provide adequate time for the part to arrive and to schedule a time to have the part installed by the December deadline. I was told that I would receive a call once the part had arrived so that I could get the car in for the part to be put in. I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing, so I called again. I called around 10 minutes prior to the parts department closing simply to ascertain whether the part had been delivered. I was warmly greeted by the service department until I asked whether the part had arrived or not when I was asked to wait for the next employee who was available. I waited 10 minutes when right at 530 the phone was picked up and then hung up. If it weren't for the way things occurred next I would be willing to chalk it up to an error. I assumed they would make an attempt to call me back but the phone call never came. A few weeks later I attempted to contact them again and was placed on hold 4 consecutive times while receiving no answer to my phone call or questions. I assumed the part had not arrived and waited again. The deadline came and went, I was willing to put the deal of the gift card aside until I called about two weeks into January. I, miraculously, spoke to someone in the parts department who informed me that the part had indeed arrived in November, 3-4 days after I called and that he was very surprised that I never recieved a phone call in connection with the arrival of the part! However, his helpfulness ended here when he told me that no one in the service department was answering to set up an appointment to get the part put in. He told me he would walk over to the service department right away and call me. He took my name and number but I never received the promised phone call. After a few hours of anticipation I caved and called the service department directly to schedule a time for the part to be put in. I did indeed get hold of someone again and had the part installation scheduled for the following Monday. I had the part installed and about two days following that I received a follow up phone call inquiring how the service went. When I notified the caller of my frustrations and the loss of the opportunity to receive the gift card I was given a thank you for your time and then the call was disconnected. I can't help but feel the call was simply a formality with no real expectation to correct any issue in the process and the offer to correct any issue that may have occurred was given disingenuously. In summation of the issue I am very disappointed in the customer service and lack of professionalism that this company showed in this interaction and that once again I, being their customer, am the one left making the effort to resolve the situation. I have sent an email multiple times to the company mirroring this one almost identically multiple times and have yet to receive so much as a phone call to apologize for the issue.

Had my 2002 silverado 2500 HD in for oil change and to get road ready for 800 mile trip back to Southern Ca. Service was fantastic, service techs recommended upcoming work that needs to be done, and I so appreciate that they did not pressure me into thinking it needed to be done immediatley before my trip. I was able to get my car in the same day I called and it was completed and ready within hours. But the best part was the ride from Alma, he is adorable, very nice and a great driver.

I had prompt service, solution that fixed my issue. A Tec that knew what needed to be done. While I believe the issue could have been fixed with a less expensive manner, but who am I to tell a Tec what to do as a customer, the cost was a little high for labor as he only had my truck for a hour , my brakes work and my vehicle is safe to drive. I will go back the car salesman who sold me the truck will continue to be my car salesmen. And I assume my vehicles will be serviced there also

I understood the things that were needed done on my truck, but I would put in place someone to explain the service and what was done to put the patrons mind at ease. Just to hand someone a bill for services that was several hundred dollars without an explanation is kind of cold. As a customer I felt I should have been told what was and wasn't found.

The service manager Brian kept me informed, he was very professional and service oriented, I am a little disappointed in GM and the the requirements and regulations placed on intelligent and well meaning employees. In the end the problem will need to be repaired, it is just some additional hoops the customer must jump thru and the employee has to be the heavy hand in delivering the news to the customer. I am glad Brian treated me as well as he did. Any company should be happy to have him in their employ.

My experience, as usual was great. However, now that I am fairly confident that I know what the symptoms of this Particular problem are and that all I needed was a new battery, I would probably avoid the service charge and buy a Sears Die Hard Battery at considerably less than the $230+ that I spent that day. I really like the way you have taken care of me over the years and I will continue to return for major problems, but I was shocked at that cost.

Great experience buying a used 2012 Civic. Well priced and great customer service. I really trusted them the whole way through the sale and am very happy with my new car. The finance manager was awesome as he helped us get a great loan and made sure the warranty was taken care of and we had all that was promised to us. He even went out of his way to come out and talk to my kids that were out waiting in the car.

They did everything timely on the purchase. They were true to their word. One thing I did not like was what equipment was on the vehicle, The one on the floor was fully loaded top of line. I was looking at one down. I did not realize that it did not have some things on it that I wanted, it ended up costing me a lot more than I had planned, and I still do not have one item due to the INFLATED cost.

We got a great deal on our new Cruze Eco. Its Was the best price out of any of the dealers we looked at. I didn't get off work until late but they waited after hours so we could get our new car that day. They helped us get in and out fast didn't try to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn't need. I just had to write a note to tell EVERYONE about not only a great salesman, but a very standup dealership. We bought a Cruze back in February 2011 so that we could flat pull it behind our motorhome.. we loved the car, got things ready for it to be pulled and then Chevorlet/GM decided that it COULD NOT be towed, except on a dolly. This was just 2 weeks before our biggest trip of year. Went back to this dealer spoke with a salesman Eric Steele.. he was sympathic but not sure what they could do to help us with our problem. After several phone calls back to Eric we found out that they would help us get an Equinox that was flat towable, that was exactly what we wanted. They went way out of their way to make us happy. Eric helped us get the items to make this Equniox ready for our next trip. We would highly recommend this JOHN WATSON dealership & our sales man Eric Steele, they cared and for the first time we felt like a car dealer REALLY VALUED our returning as a customer!! We would definately go there for our next car.
