I was recently looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, but I was not able to come in myself to view the vehicle so I was working the deal over the phone. First off it was very hard to get in touch with anybody in the sales department, I called over 5 times with no answer, and only had my messages returned after I contacted the manager. When I was left messages and called back almost immediately I only got voicemail. When I did finally get in contact with a different representative I was told that they would not be able to help me and sent me back to the original salesperson. Two more calls and I finally got a response. I first called at 10 AM, was not able to receive any information about the car until after noon. When I called back at 3 because nobody had ever sent me any paperwork they told me it would be sent right away, as I had to get the information to my bank before they were closed, this was the third time I was told this. The email finally came through less than ten minutes before my bank closed so I was not able to complete the paperwork. The next morning I began calling around 9:30, and was finally connected with my salesperson around 10:30, I was trying to contact them as I was told they may be able to have a better deal than my bank gave me and was looking into their financing options. Nobody would give me any information about the vehicle and I kept being transferred back and forth with no help. When I finally was called back I was told there had been another customer who arrived while I was trying to finalize the sale and was interested in the car and he was given priority because he was on the lot and looking into ford financing even though I had spent two days working out this deal. I was told that this was what "his managers forced him to do" and was "just Ford policy" and that "If I had looked into Ford financing first I wouldn't have had this issue." I don't believe his managers would have forced him to do this, especially without contacting me when I had a purchase order that was being processed and is definitely not how ford usually works. Also when they open at 9 and I begin calling at 9:30 I have a hard time believing this other customer beat me to it, but I'm not sure why because I was paying sticker price and paying them to repair hail damage to the vehicle. I can not believe the way I was treated, if you work with an Anthony at this dealership I suggest finding someone better to work with because between him not caring enough to answer my calls or to call me back and not sending me the proper paperwork on time there was no way I would have been able to purchase this vehicle before he decided to sell it out from under me. I gave customer service 2 stars because although the sales staff and financing department were not helpful the front desk receptionist was very friendly and apologetic for all the issues I was having.

I've bought 3 cars from 3 different dealerships before. This one was by far the most welcoming, nice, and honest bunch of people I've had the pleasure of dealing with. I would recommend to anybody looking to buy a car, if it's at this dealership think about going!

I live out of state but am in the Johnson City area about 4 times a year. Bought a used truck from them and have to say the buying process was great for the most part. Got the vehicle I wanted and got a fair deal for my trade. So I'm very happy with that part. Received the truck and drove 45 miles to my Texas home. Being an ex amateur racer, had to get under the truck and look see. Since the sticker on the window said maintenance items had been checked, decided to see for myself. Added 10 ozs of fluid to the battery, so a little miffed that this had been checked off but not taken care of. Decided to check oil level and found to be pretty dark and smelled odd. Checked the oil % gage and saw 53%. Decided to change oil and filter rather than drive back to dealer. Wanted to see how hard or easy to get this task done and it was pretty easy. Everything else checked out and after I told the sales guy about the battery and the oil, he apologized and offered to pay for my oil and filter. That's a class way to do biz. I wanted to change the oil myself so told him not necessary, so they offered to take care of my next change. Good stuff. Sales guy, Anthony, was a pro. We haggled a little and wen track and forth but they got a great vehicle and I have a really nice F150 Limited that will haul what I bought it for. Some overcharges were found by the accounting group(not unexpected, since I was from out of state). But this really good dealership and their staff did all the right things to have a customer for life. Will be back for my next truck in about 3 years.

When my 8-year old SUV needed to be replaced, I was hesitant about entering the car shopping experienced. However, TJ Kendall, along with his entire staff at Johnson Sewell Ford Lincoln, provided a level of service that far exceeded my expectations. This amazing team made the purchase of my new Lincoln fun and easy! Mark drove all the way from Marble Falls to Austin to pick me up at my business office and deliver me to the dealership. Patty had my new vehicle prepared and ready upon my arrival. Bethany was all set with documents needing my signature. And, General Manager, TJ, personally escorted me to my new vehicle at the end of our transaction. I love my Lincoln! I love this team! Under TJ's leadership, they have earned my loyalty through exceptional customer service.

This was the easiest purchase I have ever made. I only wanted to take a look at Explorers and see how the seats worked because I have 3 big dogs and Sammie was very helpful with showing me all the features of the vehicle. After showing me the features he showed me this Explorer Sport and said this is a very good deal. A previous customer had purchased the vehicle and returned it for a truck instead. We took it for a drive and again I had no intentions of buying a vehicle that day. After we returned I decided to purchase the vehicle because Sammie was a no pressure guy it was like you have seen it, driven it, and I appreciate your interest but, I understand you did not come to purchase. I have purchased several new vehicles and it has always been very difficult due to pressure. Not at this Ford Dealer. Ladies if you need a vehicle and not the hassle go see Sammie at Johnson Sewell.

Easiest car buy I ever had. Price listed on Cars.com had all the discounts and incentives already subtracted from MSRP - and we bought the car after a short drive. No nonsense dealer who doesn't treat customers like idiots. Worth the drive out to Marble Falls.

Wow..How could I be any happier. Found the truck of my dreams. Called and got Mark, he was very friendly. My family and I drove 5 hours to get the truck, and it was everything and more that Mark had descibed. The No haggle price thing seems to be taking all dealerships by storm. This really simplifies the whole process. You find what you want, the price is what it is,,,compare... You call and make the deal. They were very polite and did work with us on the extended warranty. I must say they were very busy when we arrived, but this is what you get from dealerships that know how to sell. They even entertained my kids while we waited. Also they had the truck at the front ready to test drive. I am very grateful that they stayed open cause I arrived at closing. I left 3 hours after they closed. So if they know that you're coming, they will wait. Very classy group of people are at this location. I was impressed with how the dealership waited on you just like every other customer. Also very good trade in value on your vehicle.

Dreaded the idea of purchasing an automobile. Had no idea where to start as my husband had always taken care of our autos. And, everyone knows the stories of car salesmen. I was looking over the certified vehicles on the lot when a Mr. Donnie Garrett walked out and introduced himself and I knew he was my angel. He helped me pick out a vehicle and spent all day walking me through the process of buying a car. I am so happy and if I ever have the need for another car I will certainly go straight to Donnie, he had all the patience in the world. Thank you so very much Johnson Sewell for your wonderful Sales Consultants.

I give this auto dealer four out of five stars. For the most part, they are helpful and friendly, although they will not budge off their listed prices. There is no haggling over price. It's take it or leave it. On the other hand, I feel this dealership should be a little more cooperative and understanding when it comes to dealing with their out of state customers like myself. It takes time to complete all the paperwork and payment details, it simply cannot all be done in one day. A customer acting in good faith like myself should never be told that they can sell the car out from under me---basically saying the car was not mine until they got my payment and they were free to sell it to someone else--- while I'm dealing with my financial institution and trying to arrange payment to them. Not exactly the right way to build customer goodwill... Anyway, thank you Calli and Anthony for helping me complete my purchase....

After seeing a vehicle online that was at a reasonable price and had everything I wanted, I made the drive from Houston to purchase the vehicle. I was told it would be ready so I expected an easy and fast experience. When I arrived, the vehicle (a Lincoln Certified PreOwned) had not had the basic detailing that you would expect from a CPO. There were scratches and chips all over, some of which I had been told previously by other dealers would make a car uncertifiable. When I opened the car doors, not only had the car not been "made pretty" it had not even been cleaned. There were spills on the seats and floor, dog hair and other dirt. The salesman said he would see what could be done on price since I would go to Houston and get it all fixed. The manager came back to tell me they "do not haggle on prices" and that he would let me purchase the vehicle, leave it there to be fixed and he would have it driven to me. Red flags appear when you hear that you can pay for something, not take it home and if it is not up to my standards or something happens to it in transport of 250 miles, there was nothing I could do about it. Ultimately, I walked out and drove back to Houston disappointed but while they would not haggle on price, I would not compromise on quality. Definitely, not a Lincoln quality dealer that I have experienced elsewhere.

I dealt with Sammie and Dana. Sammie was the car salesman, and Dana handled the finance part of it. Both were great! There was absolutely no pressure and they answered all my questions in detail. I work 8-5, and they close at 6, so Sammie and I had to exchange emails. The dealership is about 45 minutes away, so I wanted to make it a 1 trip thing. Sammie emailed me back promptly, valued my trade-in, and threw some numbers at me all through email, which is exactly what I needed due to me being in an office with other people, not being able to talk personal stuff on the phone. Either way, everything was awesome. Like I said, the dealership is about 45-an hour away, but well worth it. It seems a lot of people show up around 5ish, but it's cool... they'll sit you on some sweet leather couches with a 60 inch TV and the remote while they deal with other customers. It was like my living room... next to a decked out FX4 and a Lincoln Navigator to look at. Everything was awesome, my truck is awesome, the people are awesome... the drive is not awesome, but so worth it for the deals and service you get out there. Couldn't be happier. :)

Very low pressure and friendly. Loved how transparent they were. We were looking at a used vehicle, and decided it wasn't the vehicle we needed. The sales person was great and followed up with us immediately after the vehicle sold. If we were to buy a new or used Ford in the future this would be the store to go to first.

I am a Ford girl and have been for years, but I've always had to shop around and buy each vehicle from a different dealership. But now I know where I will always be buying them from now on... and here's why:My husband had previously worked with Tony Pippinger (who supervises things in the used car dept.) and called him to inquire about an explorer I had seen online that I liked. I had already visited another dealership, gotten my trade appraised, and done my research online, so I walked in there to meet with Tony with lots of good informational ammo and was prepared to use it if I needed to.:) But it was immediately clear that they weren't the kind of dealership that liked to play games and gave me straight numbers and answers to everything. Tony had me working with a very sweet sales guy named Steve who got me the last few answers I needed on the explorer and took great care of me throughout the entire process. I got a great deal on my 2013 explorer and was offered a more than fair amount for my trade. Once we had all our details hashed out (took no time at all) I also had a great experience with the financing department. Bethany was wonderful to work with and sweet as could be - no weird crazy warranty pressure or last second tricks up her sleeve. And then at the very end, when Steve was getting my vehicle detailed and gassed up for me, he even sent it through service because he felt like the one of the tires was a little low. They found a nail that had gotten in there and patched it immediately. I literally went around and hugged everybody at the end, I was so happy with my experience. Then I drove off the lot with a car I love for a price I love, all having bought it from people I loved working with.

I am a firm believer in the fact that you should try and buy local, if possible. I had really wanted another Hyundai Santa Fe but after looking at the Escape that was here at my local dealer I decided on it. The price was competitive, my trade-in value was good and it keeps me from having to travel to a dealer/service department in San Antonio or Austin. My boss is a great fan of the Johnson Sewell service department!!I have not had the car long but am very satisfied so far. I do have great confidence that if I experience any problems it will be resolved quickly.Ford is one of the only companies that bailed itself out of the financial hole it was in and did not rely on the government.I did shop the internet first and I am still getting emails about buying a new car even after I have specifically told them I had already purchased a vehicle. Very frustrating, plus it means they don't read their incoming emails and comments.it is a proven fact that you always hear from the "squeaking wheel", people like to openly try and express their dissatisfaction and normally do not think or bother to express their good experience or satisfactions.

I did extensive internet research to find the vehicle I wanted, and found it at Johnson Sewell. I filled out the info request form online, and was responded to via email, and a voicemail from a sales rep, Kyle Roberts. Kyle responded with just the right amount of proactive information and contact, but without being pushy or intrusive. As a result, I drove up from San Antonio to see the vehicle. I had also filled out a vehicle trade in form and a preliminary credit form, in case I ended up purchasing the vehicle. In each case, J-S handled the reponses promptly and made me feel like the transaction would go well. I drove up, met Kyle, test drove the vehicle, which was as described, both online and in conversation with Kyle, and purchased it. The trade in of my old vehicle and the loan info for the new one went without a hitch, as predicted in the preliminary work. This has been by far the most pleasant pre-owned vehicle purchase I've ever made, with courteous professional service from Kyle, to the finance office, to the other staff I had contact with. I will definitely refer friends and family to Johnson Sewell for future vehicle purchases!

This is the first time i have filled one of these surveys out for a car dealership as i am usually jaded after my experiences, but not this time! From the first moment i walked in, to the time i left with my new vehicle, the customer service was impeccable. Trent was my main person of contact and he was professional, informative and courteous the entire time. I would recommend coming even if only to deal with a person like Trent. He was a "no pressure" whatsoever sales person and this was very refreshing. He began by asking me my requirements, narrowed down my options, and then stayed with me through all my test drives, answering all of my questions and helping me through my deliberation. He informed me of the expectations for each vehicle and the pros and cons. I was torn between three vehicles and by the time Trent was done analyzing them with me, i am positive i drove out with the right one for me. Josh, the sales manager worked with me on the financing options. He was very informative and very fair with the options presented. I have to say, as an accounting/finance person myself, i am very cautious about doing business with car dealerships. My experiences with past car dealerships have felt like pulling teeth, making sure i am receiving a fair deal for myself. With this dealership, it took me about a half hour to go through all my finance options and come up with one that best fit my budget. That is impressive! After my initial interactions with Josh and Trent, I placed trust in them to come up with the right financing deal and they obliged. No going back and forth to make it happen. I had to leave for a meeting once my decision was made, and came back in about three hours to pick up the car, same day. They took my trade in, i received a very fair price for it, then I met with Dana (a very nice, no pressure finance professional) to sign all my paperwork, then drove home that night to show off my brand new Ford-150 truck to my family. I don't live in Marble Falls, but i would come back to Johnson Sewell, no matter where i live, in order to do business with them in the future. Thank you all at Johnson Sewell for making this a truly no hassle experience. Keith

MY husband and I had been looking for an SUV for a few weeks with no luck. We went to several dealerships and we did find some vehicles that we liked but the sales people did not listen to what we had to say. They only wanted to make a sale and pressured us so we did not do business with them. Then we were looking online again and found a dealership in Marble falls with a SUV that we were interested in so we headed to the dealership. When we got there Donnie Garrett was our salesman and he was awesome!!!!!!!!! Donnie answered all of our questions and he was friendly and professional. Everybody at Johnson Sewell we ran into was so friendly. We had the best experience buying this vehicle and we will remember them on the next vehicle we buy. Donnie was so nice, it didn't even feel like we were talking to a salesman. Donnie answered all of our questions and we ended up purchasing the SUV from him. When we came to pick up the vehicle everything we had asked to be done was done and the vehicle was clean and had a full tank of gas for us!!! Donnie will always be a friend to us and we will be passing on the word that he is an awesome salesman !!!! One other thing was that we purchased the vehicle on Halloween late evening and Donnie stayed with us until we were done. He has also followed up with us to see if everything was going good with the vehicle. This is the kind of dealership and people you want to work with. Thanks again Donnie for all of your help!!!!!!!

I dealt with this dealership on behalf of an elderly woman about a decade ago. There was a young lady from Burnet that had a serious liver disease. She didn't have dependable transportation. Her elderly grandmother wanted to give her the best opportunity to get good healthcare when she needed it. She loaned the granddaughter money to purchase a new Ford car. With that she would be able to travel for dialysis and other treatment without worry. She died a month or do later. While visiting with the grandmother a few days later she told me the story about the car. She had spent her nest egg to buy the car. I told her I would talk to the dealership and see how much of her money we could recover. When I called Johnson Sewell Ford and told them the story, the sales manager put me on hold for just a minute or less. When he came back to the phone he told me to bring the car back and they would refund 100% of the purchase price. I'll never forget the look of joy on the old woman's face when I told her. My only regret is it took me over 10 years to acknowledge the kindness this dealership showed to a lady, when they had no expectation of selling her another car. They truly are a great dealership.

I bought a 2008 Dodge Nitro from Johnson Sewell back in March. During the test drive I noticed the brakes were squealing, I mentioned this to the salesman who said, "Oh, it's nothing. It's just the way the brakes are made these days." I was still uncomfortable with that, but after talking to a couple other dealerships who said the same thing I sort of was at ease with it. Here it is, just over six months later and my AC has gone out in my vehicle. I checked the pressure of the refrigerant and there was next to none. I replaced the refrigerant in my vehicle and all was fine until not even four days later it was depleted again. I took the vehicle in to the dealership since I bought it there and have the warranty through them. They are now telling me that there is no leak they could find, so I am having to pay out of pocket for all repairs and my rental since my warranty isn't going to cover an "evac and recharge." All in all, they are just lazy. They do not want to do the work to find the issue and fix it. I have the Ford warranty since I bought the vehicle there and have had so many issues with just trying to get it looked at! All Ford dealerships keep telling me I need to take it to Dodge. Dodge will not cover my FORD warranty. I am so sick of the runaround. Do not ever buy from this dealership. They are just AWFUL. The girl in the financing department barely knew what she was doing and said she had been working there for years. I spent 8 hours there during the process of test driving and financing the vehicle. I regret ever going with this dealership. I highly recommend you do not buy a vehicle here, especially if you buy the warranty and will need repairs. They are lazy and will do whatever it takes to make a sale and then drop you. I am very disgusted with how they are treating me. I haven't had my vehicle but six months and am already having repairs done to it.

I submitted an offer over the internet. I had placed an offer on 3 seperate vehicles. Donnie the salesman was the first person to respond by e-mail. He left me his phone number and told me what the listed price was. At first I wrote him off because I had submitted an offer expecting to be contacted only if my offer would be accepted. A few hours later Donnie followed up with a phone call. He told me about the car and its history, I told him about the other offers I had already placed. He asked if he could talk to his manager to see if we could work out a better deal on the price. The manager called me a few minutes later and met me half way on the price. I did get follow up calls from the other 2 dealerships. One would not work with me on the pricing so I eliminated him from the running. The other dealership was willing to negotiate but the manager tried to make me feel guilty and came across a bit arrogant. Donnie was very easy going and the manager was also very down to earth when we spoke. So I decided to do business with Johnson Sewell Ford.

The best smoothest buying experience ever for my fourth Ford purchase within 2 years! Mark Ashbaugh the sales consultant is the best I have ever encountered. Mark has excellent communication skill and a man of his word. He was able to update me every step of the way regarding the availability of the 2013 Taurus. He was able to make sure the vehicle is available for my 3 hrs drive from houston to Marble Falls. Josh the sales manager was able to make a quick decision in taking my 2012 F150 trade in for a solid numbers. Mark also took care of the delivery purchase by helping my family and I moving stuffs from F150 into Taurus. Mark also took care of little minor issue I had with the Ford. Great follow up from Mark. Excellent salesmanship, great small town dealership experience and wonderful drive from houston!

Since Oct. 5th much has happened. After one phone call to the General Mgr., all was made right! Honestly I have never had a better experience. He promised to make things right, and bent over backwards to do so!! Honestly I have never been treated so well at a dealership. They took care of the problem immediately, ordered us the exact truck we wanted, and we drove it home a few days ago. Thank You Johnson Sewell for renewing my faith in the car buying experience. We LOVE our truck. Stephanie thank you for keeping us in the loop and following up with us through the whole process :-)Would not hesitate to do business with y'all again!

Was told a truck arriving would be ours and even put a deposit down. Was going to pick up truck on Saturday, even picked our accessories to be installed. We were under a time constraint and needed the truck for an upcoming trip (now not enough time to order one). Told one price, then it changed by $1,000 more last minute. TJ Hunziker new car manager strung us along for weeks, and salesperson lied about price. Spent an entire morning finalizing plans to pick up OUR new truck and TJ called a few hours later to say the truck was spoken for. Unscrupulous dealership, rope you in with small town friendliness and then stick it to you! Do not deal with Johnson Sewell Ford in Marble Falls.

This dealership has restored my faith in used car salesmen. I've never had the pleasure to run into a more trustworthy dealership. I was told my trade-in would be worth $1,000.00 more if the a/c was in working order. Once service dept.opened they would run a diagnostic to determine cause of the problem then I would get a reimbursement of the difference if it was a minor fix...I didn't believe them but had no option so I had to take the deal...to my surprise, I got a call from Steve and said they would be sending me a check for almost $900.00. I'm very pleased with their honesty and I would highly recommend Steve and Tony for their excellent behavior!

After calling to verify that a particular F150 was in stock I drove down there(about 200 mi round trip and wasted about 7-8 hours) I found out that the vehicle apparently did not exist despite it's listing on the internet. Coincidentally, I was given a $15,000 trade in quote over the phone, sight unseen. That is "bait and switch in its worst form.I am a proud Ford retiree and a proud loyal ford owner of app. 45 years. In my opinion, that dealership does not deserve to be associated with the name FORD. Needless to say, I was and still am, extremely upset when I finally saw through games they were playing and will do all in my power to direct potential customers to a more reputable dealer when possible.John P HivnorP O Box 214Pottsville, TX 76565Employed at Chicago Assembly Plant from 1968 to 1993
