I love Kia of east Hartford. The staff is so friendly and honest!! Also the service department is great and so are their prices! Their Delivery Coordinator is amazing! That kid deserves a raise! Employees are nice and service is usually a quick in and out. Chuck in Service is amazing!! Would recommend this dealership! My only complaint is with my last maintenance visit. At drop off, I told Service I one of the nuts was missing on the reverse light casing and asked if they could replace it while it was in for service. The gentleman (John?) told me to go to Parts and they could sell me the nut. After talking to the attendant at Parts, he was very surprised Service told me to come purchase 1 nut and said he'd take care of it no charge. Not that big of a deal, but it seems tacky to have a customer purchase their own parts when in for service. I mean I don't bring my own groceries to a restaurant 🤣 Otherwise my previous maintenance and prior repair visit were great, friendly and fast. Note: This review is for parts and service only, I have yet to deal with sales.

This was my first time buying a car. A used one, too! I can't recommend them highly enough. A++ for the whole team. My sales rep, Tom, was easy to connect with and expertly guided me through every step. The mechanics gave my car a full check, inside and out. The finance manager, Jose, kindly explained each part of the financing process to me. And Trey, the delivery coordinator, was kind enough to drive be back to my rental car dropoff just down the road. There were no hidden fees or charges that appeared later in the process as may happen at other dealers. The process was very clear, easy and painless. I am now driving the Sorento and enjoying the vehicle greatly.

I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership in mid December 2015 and came for my first oil change (June 13, 2016) . I called the week prior to schedule the appointment and was told it would take an hour. When I scheduled the service, I asked if they could investigate a strange noise I was hearing when turned my steering wheel. They confirmed and also said they would vacuum the car. On the day of the service, I waited in the waiting area upstairs while they changed my oil. In about an hour and fifteen minutes, I went downstairs to check with the service department about my car. They said they didn't have any of the oil filters for my car in stock and had to go offsite to get them, so they hadn't even started servicing my car. After forty-five more minutes (2 hours total), I went downstairs again and told them I needed to get back to work. They had only completed the oil change at the point. They hadn't vacuumed the car or checked for the strange noise. They didn't offer to discount the cost for the inconvenience, nor did they offer any kind of discount toward my next service appointment. Pretty poor customer service all around. I've take my car elsewhere since.

Our Sales Associate was Ryan Peterson. When we first arrived, he came out to greet us and I thought "here comes the high-pressure sales!" On the contrary, he told us to take our time and look around or if we had any questions or concerns, come see him. Since at no time did we feel any pressure, we were more at ease to try to work out a purchase. Ryan followed the process through from start to finish. Ryan was helpful in getting everything put together from the papers being signed to the insurance. The finance manager was very informative and went over each paper before we signed it. He also got us a good interest rate in our loan. Alexis called the day after we bought the car to check in and was helpful and courteous. The service department did a nice job on the Permaplate application and was finished faster than expected. Ryan and Alexis meanwhile worked on getting the drver's manual I asked for and did it with a smile. All in all, a good car buying experience.

This might sound familiar to a lot of you, we walked into the Kia dealership only for a price; we ended up buying a new 2016 Kia, Sportage. We had visited other dealers and we did get some fairly good prices. But when we went to Kia of East Hartford, they pretty much blew everyone else out of the water. Mike Singer, Business Manager, and Danny Pavao, General Sales Manager, they are good guys to deal with. Upfront, honest, genuine. Now let me tell you about our Salesman, Anthony Diaz. I've read some of the reviews about this dealership and a lot of people refer to Anthony as someone who goes above and beyond. I gotta tell you he goes more than just above and beyond, he goes out of his way to take care of things that he really didn't even have to take care of or weren't even expected of him to do. I actually trust no one, but I would back Anthony up with whatever he said he would do, I know he will do it. PS if anyone out there is reading this, quit messing around and come to Kia of East Hartford to buy your car.

When I noticed the issues in the car and told him I didn't want the car, he told us he would keep the deposit and told us to get out. This dealership is a joke. Researched lots of dealers in CT and Ma. Found cars at Kia of East Hartford to be the lowest prices around. Website was accurate and easy to use. All requested information was promptly answered by Mario with no sales pressure. Was immediately greeted upon arrival at the dealership by someone other than Mario. When I informed him who I was here to see, instead of saying he was inside, he proceeded to escort me right to his desk. That's service you don't always see. Mario gave me the opportunity to inspect the car by myself so that I didn't have to wait for him to finish with another customer. Mario arrived shortly after and was always cheerful, friendly, and honest. The car was exactly as I expected. If you purchase a car there you will be greeted by another pleasant individual. Business manager Mike Singer. He made the purchasing process as easy as possible. He was able to beat my pre-approved bank rate and also found a warranty plan that better suited my extensive driving. After the sale when they say "call if you have any questions" they mean it. Even when I Emailed with follow up questions they replied without hesitation.

I've known about Kia of East Hartford for some time as I live right in town. When I looked at the Used Car Inventory on the website I was immediately attracted to the listed Sorento. Sales experience was very good. The usual wheeling and dealing, but I ultimately found that my experience was one of the better car negations I've had and I've had a LOT of them. Ryan was cool and pretty easygoing. After all if you can't negotiate then you will end up going somewhere else. Traded in a 2 year old Range Rover for a 16 Sorento SXL V-6. This car blows the Range Rover away in features and quality. I loved the Range Rover but seriously if you can lose the ego a little the Kia nameplate is a great car and worth buying over so many other overpriced, less impressive SUV's.

Right out of the gate, Howie and his manager matched the price I was quoted by another Kia Dealership. I lease my cars. Always for 3 years. I have been leasing from a different dealer for the last 2 vehicles. My current lease was coming due and I was over my miles. The dealership where I leased the car gave me nothing but hassles and headaches despite the fact that I was a loyal customer. So I tried Kia of East Hartford after receiving an advertisement from them in the mail. Doubtful about the content of their advertisement (looking to buy my car) I called anyway and expected a bunch of bull and run around. It was exactly the opposite. I told Danny Pavao, the sales manager, exactly what I had, what I was looking for, and that I was not interested in what I had been put through by my current dealership. He actually called me back within hours and we made a deal over the phone! I still doubted that they would stick to their word, and when I drove in with my trade, I expected back-peddling and double-talk. That never happened. George Rodriguez, my salesman, was prepared with the car just as stated. The finance manager, Dan Furia, had the paperwork prepared. The entire process took about an hour. I drove away expecting a phone call that there was a problem with this, that, or the other and that I needed to return to sign something, pay more money, etc. I just can't believe how efficient and honest the whole experience was. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honesty, efficiency, and a really nice new car!

I just leased a 2015 Kia Optima from Kia of East Hartford from George Rodriguez. It was the easiest, most efficient car buying experience I have ever had. I literally called the dealership, gave them the information on my trade/buyout and told them what I wanted. The sales manager, Danny Pavao literally called me back within an hour and I was able to agree on a purchase over the phone. I found this unbelievable. In fact, I did not believe that when I got there, they would actually stick to their word and there would be some nightmare haggle process to endure. This did not happen. The car and paperwork was waiting, I arrived with my trade, and everything was processed in about an hour. I had been shopping for months and had experienced nothing but grief from the dealership where I had leased my two previous cars. I have nothing but positive things to say and everyone from the salesman, the sales manager, and the finance manager were on the same page and prepared for my arrival. I highly recommend this dealership and sales team to anyone looking to avert the hassles and haggles of a large, commercial dealership. If I needed another car tomorrow, I would go back there without hesitation.

I didn't think that was possible with my budget in mind, but after running the numbers my payment was about the same on the new car!! First, let me say that I'm not generally the type of person to write a review about anything, but after arriving home with our new Kia, I knew that I had to tell people what a wonderful experience my husband and I had. We live over an hour from Kia of East Hartford, and had been calling what seemed like every Kia dealer in Connecticut and Massachusetts, after the initial phone call, I knew we were going to buy our car from them. When we arrived, the exact car we had spoke about over the phone was parked out front and warmed up. The other dealer we had been to couldn't find the car when we arrived, and kept us waiting for nearly 30 minutes when we got there. Not the case here!!! Our salesperson was totally on top of it! We ended up taking the car home that afternoon and on the way home my husband even said that was easy. And for him to say that, it means something! Very pleased and will go back for our next car.

I was very skeptical of going to the Kia Brand. I have had Honda's all my life. I decided to just go and check out what they are all about because I cannot afford a new car and i'm on a budget. I was very impressed with how my Kia Forte drove. The car surpassed my expectations. I ended up purchasing this vehicle 45 days ago and didn't want to write my review until i had the car for a while. It's awesome, super on gas, drives smooth, i look forward to driving it. I'm equally happy with Kia of East Hartford, the people knew what they were talking about! The sales team and sales manager weren't pushy and explained everything so i could understand the process. I called two weeks later with a question about how something in the car worked and they were great, helped me figure it out over the phone. Highly recommend Kia of East Hartford.

went in for oil change and trans. service. While doing their inspection they found that the battery needed replacement, and did so. Also they noticed that a tire was mismatched in size by a local tire shop and would cause the car to pull to one side. I would have never found this out if not for their attention to detail. I doubt any other service shop would have noticed. great job by great people.

I wanted a new Sorento that had to have leather, back up camera, and AWD. I visited a Kia dealer closer to my house where i was led around the lot to look at 20 different Sorentos. After a hour we finaly found one i was interested in but it had more options then i originally requested. I didnt want to pay more for options i didnt need, so i left. Then i E-mailed Carlos at Kia of East Hartford. I told him what i wanted and set up an appointment. He listened to my needs and found me the perfect car the first time. 2 hours later i was driving home my new Sorento. Thank you Kia of East Hartford!!

Uninformed and useless staff, that do not keep there word and can't be trusted.First thing I noticed looking at the car was a dent in the side. "yea not a problem we can get that out before you buy the car" alright I say, but it never happened. then they were going to reimburse me, and eventually stopped responding to email. I was from out of state, but they ensured me that the registration and taxes would still be able to be taken care of. It was not till i drove all the way there that they said this was not possible after telling me the final price over the phone. This final price had included fees and other charges that Luis vega had initially told me were included in the sticker price. Worst part was when I finally decided to buy the car, the Manager changed a 4 to a 9 making the sticker price of the car $500 more than advertised. Unfortunately for me I didn't notice until after I signed the paperwork. Since the Manager had left there was nothing the Assistant manager or the salesman could do to change the price, so they claimed. and they would not let me leave with the car unless i payed the full amount. Again ensuring me that the manager would be able to send me a check for the difference. Maintenance on the car is another thing. I bought my car right after a scheduled service interval. I asked if they had done the required work, at the time they sold it to me the answer was yes, after calling their service center that answer quickly turned to " no we didnt replace that filter, we only are required to do the bare minimum safety features. were not required to perform the scheduled maintenance"

I started my car search on-line and after sending in an inquiry I was contacted by a representative who patiently waited a couple of weeks for me to commit to an appointment at Gengras Kia. I was early for my appointment with a finance representative to see what my loan options are, but was helped right away by Luis Vega, who ended up finding the perfect SUV for me! My experience at Gengras Kia was the best. There was no pressure to buy a car, no stress, and no judgment. I have a few bumps in my credit history and I was terrified to go to a dealership to see if I would get approved for a loan. While at Gengras Kia I never felt embarrassed or judged; I felt like the whole team genuinely wanted to help, especially Luis. He only showed me vehicles I could potentially afford, and did not try to push me out of my comfort zone or into a car/SUV I really did not want. This dealership is a prime example of teamwork and helping each other out to get the customer what they want. Between management - finance - and sales I was able to get the SUV I wanted at a price I could afford. I highly recommend Gengras Kia - and Luis Vega.

My husband and I went to Gengras Kia looking to either lease or purchase a Kia Optima or Cadenza. We met with a sales representative who was very nice, helpful and informative. He took us for a test drive on both cars. When it was time to discuss pricing, we went inside where we waited while our rep conferred with Matt Brierton for pricing. The pricing that came back on the vehicles (both in leasing and in purchasing) was astronomical. When I expressed concern that the pricing on these vehicles were extremely high and asked how we could bring this down, I received no alternative options or suggestions. In fact, I had to ask multiple times for pricing on a "cheaper" Optima before I finally received a price - which was still WAY too high WITH $2,000 down. I explained that we currently drive a Mercedes at a significantly lower lease payment so it would not make sense to switch from Mercedes to Kia at this pricing, still we received no suggestions or alternatives. We ultimately walked out of there feeling very disappointed and at a loss for words - why was it that the marketing on Optimas and Cadenzas were making it seem like these cars were affordable, but the experience we just had clearly proved that they weren't?? We decided that perhaps there was just something about the people we dealt with at Gengras Kia, and that maybe we should try another location. Based on reviews we saw online, we drove to Wallingford to Executive Kia. Long story short, we walked out of Executive Kia with a 36 month lease (no $$ down) for a new 2014 Cadenza at a significantly lower price than had been quoted to us before. It turned out that the options we were looking for in a car (leather, bluetooth, heated seats), came stock on the base Cadenza model, a fact that no one at Gengras had ever mentioned to us. So we were being quoted prices on the top Cadenza model with the technology package, when we didn't need all that "stuff". But the curious part is, when I expressed concern over the pricing, why wasn't this mentioned to me? Why wasn't a suggestion made that we remove certain packages? In fact I asked the question, "is there a package on here we can get rid of?" and I was told, "we don't do packages, it just comes with this model". I guess Gengras Kia preferred to lose a customer than to offer a less expensive alternative to a couple that was thinking about shifting from a "competitor" in a market Kia is trying to break into (with the Cadenza). I put "competitor" in quotes because it remains to be seen whether Kia is really in that market at all. By this customer service, I think not. On a positive note, Wallingford Executive Kia was fantastic.

So l went there on 11/16/13 and after putting $100 for them to process my purchase on Monday, I received a call from the sales person on Monday saying I'm all set and can pick up the sportage. So l went over put down $2000, signed the necessary documents and had to go back to work so l told them l will be picking it up on Wednesday with which they said it was ok. I got a call Wednesday morning and wow!! I can't pick the car because it has been sold to Kia about a month ago!!!! What!!! So they told me they are going to get me the exact car and will call me by the end of the day to let me know when that will be but " you should be able to pick it up by Thursday." Its 7:30pm and no call whatsoever . I'm just trying my hardest to keep cool until Thursday 11/21/13........ To be continued.

I had a great experience with Henry in the Service department. He promptly returned my call and explained the electrical issue my car was having. The Tech guys did a great job troubleshooting the problem which turned out to be fairly minor and inexpensive. I had a fear that the problem was going to be much larger and costly. I definitely would recommend the Kia Service department.

Working with Joey was great. I brought my daughter with me to select a car with great safety ratings. I got the great safety ratings with SOOO much more. Joey greeted me promptly on the sales floor. I explained what I was looking for and he directed me towards a 2012 Kia Optima. I was skeptical at first. I just had a refreshing experience! Gengras Kia rocks! Thanks to Sylvester, Matt (finance guy) and Lindsay (chat champion), and the various others i met while there, I feel great about giving up my sports car for a family car! Having done mostly online research, i have learned that I was "flipped" about $4000 in my 2009 Impreza. Even members of my chat forums agreed that I may have troubles trading. I cannot afford a new car, and I put a ton load of miles on a year, so I thought I just couldnt find what I needed. I went to Carmax, and 2 other dealers that I will not mention by name, (I like to be fair), and they all told me I needed money down, then quickly seemed like they were being bothered that I didnt have any. I first spoke with Lindsay through an online chat, she assured me that Gengras would listen to everything I needed, and then give me a couple of choices and the decision would be left up to me. It turned out i did need $600 for my financing to go through, but after dealing with the guys, they did not pressure me just told me what i needed to do. I got a Camry, same model that carmax had, probably the same kind of deal, but Sylvester just told me it was all up to me if i wanted to make this trade. I guess i really didnt want to give up my fun car for a family car, but i realized now it was the right choice- BUT MY CHOICE! Thanks guys! Necer thought I would have fun buying a car! sylvester cracked me up, and I will recommend everyone I know to see these guys when they are shopping for a new car!

My fiance n drove 1 hr to look at this car we loved from this place we decided to buy it sat down filled paper work out n the finance person came over told us we could not pick car up till Monday because they has to get in touch with DMV keep in mind we had the check ready to sign away n leave with the vehicle that day so they told us they would hold the vehicle till Monday for pickup we call Monday to let them kno what time we will be there n they said the vehicle was sold n was rude about it. We will never ever give them our money they are very rude here and uncaring . Never again will we set foot in this place! poor customer service!!

I NEVER take the time to write reviews, but Michael and Dave made a good enough impression on me that I decided to make an exception. I found the car I wanted on the Gengras website late Saturday night. I called the dealership as soon as they opened on Sunday morning and Dave was very friendly and helpful making sure that they had the actual vehicle available and explaining the buying process to me (I haven't bought a car from a dealer in 26 years). When I arrived at the dealership Michael greeted me in the parking lot and helped me make sure I was getting the car that I really wanted. We drove several and went over all the different options and packages available. The entire process was fun and easy and I drove home in my new Kia in just a couple hours. I would definitely do business with them again.My only negative is that a couple days after the sale I called the parts department looking for an accessory and was given some misinformation. I did some further research and got the correct information elsewhere. I passed the correct info on to the dealer so that hopefully the next guy will get the right answers the first time.

Before even entering through the front doors, Fitzroy Gallimore greeted us and immediately began showing us all cars that fit our criteria. It was quickly decided that a Kia was the car for us!When going through the purchase process, my husband and I were presented with all the facts and given a very generous price for the new vehicle and trade-in value for my current car. My experience at Gengras Kia was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walked in -- when the jocular Joey Pellegrino and Michael Bullard introduced me to the dealership -- to the moment I left -- with a firm, friendly handshake from Rich Blanchette -- I knew I was in good hands. I was a first time car buyer, and the guys at Gengras (especially Rich) really took care of me. I got a great deal on my Soul. All I had to do was show them the Edmunds True Market Value, and they agreed to the price. Rich was especially great. He walked me through every step of the process, and never once took advantage of me as the apparent novice that I am. Rich even took the time to show me the service center and explain everything about getting service at the dealership, even though it was after 6 and the service center was closed to regular customers. There's not a doubt in my mind that I will go back for another car once my fiance and I have the money. Auto salesmen often get a bad rep. I definitely went into the dealership expecting the worst. But what I got was a perfect customer service experience, and I do not use the word "perfect" lightly.

I had a very bad experience with Gengras Kia, i drove 5 hours to the dealer and was treated rude. There were things wrong with the car that i was not told on the phone before i drove 5 hours. They told me i should expect it because it was a 2011. They weren't helpful at all and even after i got the car home and had questions i tried to solve some of them over the phone and they wont return my calls. I guess i learned my lesson and will deal locally. I love the car just not the dealer i dealt with.

The salesperson (Juan) and the sales manager (Dave)were professional, accommodating and reasonable. After identifying the actual car I wanted to purchase and sharing other prices quoted me by other CT and Mass area dealers, we agreed on a price. They were very price competitive and there were no games or gimmicks that I experienced at other dealers I visited while purchasing my new Optima. Bought a new 2012 Kia Sportage, which they got from another dealership, got hit with their conveyance fee, which no one could realy explain but was told it was non negotiable. Had to sit with thier finance person who tried to sell us every extended warranty they have. Had my first oil change at their service dept, got home and had oil leaking from under the front (noticed spots in the driveway), went back and had them check, showed me the oil as was all over underneath of the vehicle, also notice the resonator was severly dented? claim when they preped the vehicle it was no dent,also was not noted when they did the oil change basically blamming me! Was taken over to their empty Fiat dealership next door to discuss with Tony Oliver and Jason thier service manager, quess they didn't want me around potential KIA customers.Told me they would check to see if they could do anything about the resonator. Now back to the oil leak,which they cleaned and put dye in to try to find a leak, they drove the car, back on the lift no leak!only explaination they could give me was they spilt oil or it splashed onto the frame when they drained it!! Come on really!Guess what got a call saying there is nothing they can do on the resonator, big surprise!Another disappointing experience buying a new car.

I was very impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the sales associates, the comfort of the atmosphere, the low pressure environment, and the time devoted to me....no rushing. All of my concerns and questions were addressed and my needs were very well met. Sylvester Evans listened to me and took the time necessary to take care of me. Tony Oliver took the time to address the particulars about the safety components of the Optima. I had been researching Kia's a bit...particularly the Kia Optima, but originally went into Gengras Kia in East Hartford, CT to possibly test drive the vehicle, gain more knowledge about the car, and run some #'s. In the end, 3 hours later I was signing papers!!! I needed to stop back the following day to make some final decisions and that was no problem. I felt respected and the entire experience was a pleasure!!! I never thought I'd be saying that car buying would be fun. It's always great and reassuring to get a new, safe, reliable, comfortable, and enjoyable vehicle, but I would never have thought, or have found the experience to actually be a bit fun until my time spent at Gengras Kia. I love my new Kia Optima and I give a great deal of credit to Sylvester Evans for his professionalism and character!!!

I had just started to look around for a new car even though my old Jeep still ran well. After looking online and researching new cars that would meet my criteria, I stopped by Gengras Motors "just to look". By the time I left that same day, I was convinced that my new Kia Rio SX was for me. I was torn between the hatchback and the sedan so my salesman, Neal Phealon, helped me out making the decision (my lifestyle, I have to comfortable in the car, etc.). He had me drive both cars to see which one I liked the best. He has a very laid-back, not pushy, way about him and I felt he was honest and sensible. I would buy a car there again, and hopefully Neal will still be there for many years to come. I did buy a jeep there 11 years ago as well. They were all accommodating. Neal's the best! Nancy Swanson

Go here to buy your car! My car shopping experience was incredibly long and involved. I started at a different dealership but was feeling like I was being taken advantage of, so I stopped in at Gengras to check pricing and possibly find a better personality fit. And boy did I ever. I initially worked with Andy, who has since moved back to another Gengras dealership, but they seemlessly transitioned me to Fitz and Tony who stuck with me through to the end (including 3 overnight test drives)and multiple vehicle choice changes. Fitz is not only hysterical, but friendly, honest and down-to-earth. I had to wait for my specific car to become available, and he called me frequently during that time, just to check in and give me a status update.I really believe I got my car for a steal but he still spent tons of extra time with me going over the whole car and made me feel like I was a truly valuable customer.In fact, I stopped in a few days after picking up my car because I found a spare key for my trade. Tony was there and we talked for a few minutes, he even came out and talked about the car with me a little more. They just seem to really care about their customers.This review wouldn't be complete without mentioning Sue, she is awesome...squared. Sue works the financial end of the deals and the service packages. I am always wary of "extras" like service packages but after nagging her with tons of questions I did finally decide to add them. She was very patient with me and a blast to talk to. All in all, the way car buying should be. Yes, I know, I'm cheesy.

Travis accommodated all of our needs, answered all of our questions, was available to us whenever needed over the week-long buying process. Other salespeople, accountant, service people we met were also very friendly and accommodating. Very friendly dealership, clean showroom and service area. We were very happy with our experience.

Travis did it once again. I needed to bring my car into service and the only number i had available at the time was Travis's. I called him and told him that I needed to bring my car in for a service. I know it is not his job to deal with service; but he helped me out anyway. He went to service himself got everything all set up for called me up and told me everything was all set. I didnt need to do anything he is very helpful. This guy really knows how to work with people.

I do not buy from pushy salespeople. From the moment I walked into Gengras Kia, Mike the sales manager and Neal the salesman listened to me and did not try to push me into anything. The 1st time in, all I wanted to do was test drive a Sorento to see if it was even worth pursuing. I only had about an hour. They brought a car around, I test drove it and was pleasantly surprised. I sat down with Neal and went over the features I needed and did not need. I went back 2 weeks later to make a purchase. We negoiated a price and they found the car for me. On the day of pick up, Eileen was very professional and had all the paperwork ready to go. It was a very quick and easy process. I did stop in another time when Mike was not there and another sales manager tried to get me into a car that wasn't to my liking. I left and came back another day. I would definitely recommend working with Mike and Neal!

This is how buying a new car should be - a FUN experience. Even discusing price was not uncomfortable. The last car I bought - I got closed into a room with a HIGH pressure guy who tried to make me feel stupid for not signing up for all his extras. For that reason alone I have told many people not to shop there.Getting a new car is so exciting and should be a fun and memorable experience for all the right reasons. I think sometimes Car companies and even people at dealerships are around new cars so much they take forgranted what a BIG deal getting a new car is.Fitz and Eileen were almost excited for me as I was. Everything was explained to me with knowledge and understanding.

Travis was extremely informative and overall a very nice guy. He seemed to know every aspect of each car and how to choose one to best fit my needs. The best part was he was anything but pushy. I felt very comfortable and not rushed. I ended up with a beautiful Optima which I believe was the perfect choice. I went in expecting to get the run around but when I met with Fitz he did not play games or give me the run around. He acted as an advocate for me getting me a great deal. I went to Gengras to get a vehicle. I applied for Financing online, and they said to come in, they could get me a vehicle. I know my credit is low, so I don't mind that it turned out they could not get me financing. What I mind is that I left a $500 deposit that I still haven't gotten back, 2 weeks later. I left it on a Friday morning, the following Thursday I was contacted back, saying I couldn't get financing, and could pick up my refund check anytime. They did not return my calls in the interim of Friday to Thursday. I work Mon-Fri so I was unable to get in to pick up my check until Saturday (8 days later), and was informed they had not printed my check, and would NOT be able to print my check over the weekend, but they would deliver it to my workplace Monday. Instead of my check being delivered Monday, I received a call stating it had been mailed out to me on Friday. I had not received it in the mail so I called the dealership again and was sent to voicemail, and received no return call. Today (14 days later) I called and said I would wait on hold for the "unavailable" manger, who picked up the phone within 2 minutes. As it turns out, my check was not mailed on last Friday, and was still at the dealership. I should not have to waste more gas to pick it up again, but it was stated that there wasn't a good likelihood I would be able to have it delivered to me today, that if I wanted it I would have to pick it up. This is absolutely terrible customer service.

I test drove a Mazda6. I was interested in more information. I sat with the salesman for a minute, he was new, he went and got his manager "Tony". Tony was very unprofessional and rude. I told him I was just looking to get ideas of what cars I could get for what prices but was not going to buy today. He told me he could not help me because I was "unsure" and didn't know exatly what I wanted. The whole reason I went there. He was pushy and harsh. I was very offended and will not recommend Gengras kia of East Hartford to anyone.

Jason Sierra went over and above to ensure we found exactly what we were looking for and was extremely detailed and patient with us as we initially started our search with our two small children taking over the showroom. We love our Kia Soul + and will recommend Jason Sierra and Gengras Kia to our friends and family. We originally stopped at Gengras Kia to look at a used sedan. After our trade and rebates, we ended up purchasing a brand new Kia Soul + for almost the same price as the used car. We love that Kia is affordable and top rated for safety. at first i was handled very well with regards to my purchase of 2 new kias. but seemingly after the sale of both vehicles was complete, all customer service that i had expected had been lost. my salesman failed to get back to me when promised to correct issues involving the car and resulted in me calling him several times without a response. I've recently put a call in with Eddy in hopes that things will be straightened out as he assures me it will. at this time i would recommend the dealer...just not the salesman.

My experience with this dealership was great. Once I spoke with the finance man Eddy Calderon things went smoother. Before that the person who was trying to get me financing never called me or followed up. She went on training and did not call me. I waited around all day Saturday for her to call with something (news) and she left me hanging. On Monday my salesman (Fitzroy) called and he had Eddy work on the financing.

I would most highly recommend this dealership; and especially ask for Travis Cousineau he is the Client Advisor that I delt with the whole time. Fitzroy Gallimore was the Client Advisor that located my car; and he did so very quickly especially being that with the color and options I wanted was rare. I never once felt pushed into making a deal with Travis; he understood my needs and really worked hard on getting me exactly what I wanted. He got me a very good price on the car; you could tell he wasnt about making an extra buck on the car. He explained everything in detail, and made it so I was never confused. Travis Cousineau is a very hard working Client Advisor I would recommend him and Gengras Kia to any of my friends.

We liked the fact that Jason was kind and gentle, not at all pushy. He learned what we wanted and worked for us. He was able to follow up with us yet not be aggressive. He was soft spoken, and he gave us the impression that he wanted to satisfy us. We were a bit disappointed in the finance person, Ed. If we had not done OUR homework in looking for rates before our meeting with him, he would not have given us the best rate. This would have cost us several thousand dollars in interest.
