I filled out an application online and was told I needed a co-signer and I got a co-signer...Drove over an hour to the dealership only to be told something totally different than what I was told on the phone...I was then told by Jason the salesman that I would need to come back the next day..waited all day long only to be told that i couldnt get into tge car. .I wasted so much of my time..Never again will I ever give my time to this dealership...Such a wast of my time!!!!!!

Found a car 4 years newer then the one I had and cheaper payments. Love the new Lease option. I will have a new car every 4 years without any hidden charges. From the time my wife and I walked into the dealership we were treated like a friend by everybody we talked to. The sales representative we worked with, Ed Schockley, was unbelievably helpful. He answered all the questions we had about the various vehicles that were available. We were undecided on whether we should buy or lease and that is when we met Gradey Jarret and he and Ed told us about the benefits of each type of transaction for us. The conversation included a lot of personal stories and again we felt like we were working with long time friends. Gradey finally said you know it sounds like the lease would be the best plan for you, so what can we do to make this work for you? We told him what we needed and he made it happen for us right there. My wife and I looked at each other and said, well then let's do it and we signed the lease papers and left with a new Kia. It was the absolute best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesman Fritz was fantastic , very thorough and helpful. When we finally decided to do a lease purchase rather than a straight sale. It took several hours (yes hours!) to get to the finance manager to sign the paperwork. The computers kept going down and there was not enough staff to handle all of the sales that day. When the paperwork was ready, the amount was not the same as was quoted so the finance manager had to re do it all and the computer froze again. We like the car, liked our salesman but the dealership needs more staff to accommodate the business they do. We were really close to walking out because of the wait.

I purchased my car on July 16 2016. I bought a kia soul that was supposed to be sold for 11,880 but instead it was sold to me for over 13,000 and they tried to low ball me on my trade in.. I bought a manual 6 speed in which they told me was wired so that I can get the remote to lock and unlock my car. I called kia of greer 2 times today and asked to speak with Fred(the general manager), and he never returned my call. They misrepresented the details to me about my car. Which I am currently in contact with my attorney about. I could have bought the same car from Greenwood, and gotten a better value for my trade, but kia of greer promised me my car would be there on Saturday for the price of $11,880, which was a crock!! I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! The service man they let me talk to doesn't know his xxx from a hole in the ground. When you call kia of greer, you call a call center and have to wait to talk to someone you delta with. I will never never never recommend anyone to do business with these people!!

I bought a kia optima 3 weeks ago.. which I felt extremely pushed into buying.. it was my first car buying experience alone after my divorce.. since then I have called and left messages 3 times for them to call me back with simple info that my insurance company needed.. no one returned my call.. when I asked to speak to a manager the girl said she was connecting me to the general manager.. but the guy she connected me to was a car salesman and he informed me he didnt have a clue how to answer my questions.. I have never written a poor review of a company but am so frustrated with them advertising how great they are in customer service.. Awful experience!!

I've had the same car for 13 years, time for a change wouldn't you say! Have been planning to get a newer car for awhile. Had started to look around, was going to wait until June to actually try and buy one, wanted credit cards paid off.One of my credit cards offered Auto loans so I checked to see if I could get pre-approved and I was. I jumped the gun, went to Kia of Greer and fell in Love. My sales agent was the most awsome,courteous,kindest young man I have met! After explaining to him what I wanted and what I would and would not do, this handsome young man made me the happiest woman May 6th. I would encourage anyone who is looking to buy a vehicle to visit Kia of Greer and talk to David Boone he will bend over backwards and jump through hoops to make you the happiest person you can be...I don't believe you will find a better deal anywhere else!! I know you are probably thinking right now that all dealerships are supposed to be that way but, you would be WRONG. This whole place is filled with people that are sincere in the way that they treat you!!!! I am especially fond of DAVID BOONE. TKIA OF GREER is the most exceptional dealership I've ever been to in my entire life. I bought a brand new soul there back in 2010. I fell on very hard times over the past two years and was very sick. I'm starting to get back on my feet again. I visited the dealership back in March of 2015 and the area manager Mark Escuade put me in touch with the general store manager, Ken Duneske. I was floored at the fact that two very important people took their personal and professional time to help me. He kept me informed every day on the status of what was going on and it made me feel important. Ken did an amazing job and got me approved for a brand new 2015 Soul and I picked it up on April 2nd, 2015! As I was leaving he told me, "if you need anything else, we are here for you." he wasn't lying either! They have been an extremely big help with other things as well. The things I needed weren't necessarily things that the dealership is obligated to do, yet he helped me every single time until I was happy, and he gave me a peace of mind. I've told everyone I know to go to KIA of Greer for their next car, and I continue to when people compliment me on my car. I am a KIA customer/fan for life AND a KIA of Greer fan/customer for life as well. As far as the facility goes, it was spotless, modern, beautiful and comfortable. Honestly, I felt like i was on vacation more than in a car dealership. They offered complimentary food, drinks, comfortable places to wait and even an internet technology center. Really??? Writer has two occasions of complaint and these trades cost me a personal loss of $15000: 1.Year 2012: "Nothing wrong as vehicle meets all specs" was maintenance's response to my 2008 KIA Sorento's sudden city mileage change from 17 mpg to 13 mpg". This sudden change in fuel consumption can indicate the possibility of a future major failure. KIA indicated no attempt would be made to research or correct the problem. 2. Year 2012-2013: Preceding events prompted my premature sale of the 2008 Sorento and foolishly purchasing a new 2012 Sorento. KIA of Greer maintenance response to complaints of vehicles unsafe tendency to hesitate and excessively high city fuel consumption was vehicle break-in required more than the 750 logged mileage. Subsequent response to same complaints after 3000+ logged mileage was KIAs familiar "nothing wrong as vehicle meets all specs". KIA again indicated no attempt to research or correct the problem. The events immediately preceding prompted my trade of this unsafe Sorento for a competitor's vehicle.

I had my girlfriend bring my 2015 Sorrento down to have the second oil change, we live one hour and 40 minutes away but since I was busy I decided to let Kia complete the oil change again. My Sorrento is the 2nd car that I have purchased from Kia of Greer. While being walked out to the car she said one of the mechanics walked by her with a pack of wheel locks and told the guy walking her out that she may need these. She didn't think much of that at first but as she drove away she was trying to figure out why the wheel locks were needed to change the oil. She stopped at the gas station several miles away and noticed money missing from the console. She had hid some mail above the passenger side sun visor so that it wouldn't be visible and it had been gone through and was falling out. While pumping gas she said she decided to look at the wheel locks, we had a brand new set that had never been opened in the back, when she opened up the back the wheel locks that were there had been opened and were damaged. She immediately called the dealership and ask for the manager, she was told he wasn't in yet so she left her name and phone number. After a couple of hours she called back to see why her call had not been returned and the young lady told her that the manager was there and that the information had been given to him to call her. The employee put her on hold to find out why, the manager told the employee to tell my girlfriend that he was busy in the back with keys and he would have to call her back in a few minutes. This was 2:00 pm on Monday October 13th and it is now 8:30 am on Wednesday October the 15th. NO PHONE CALL FROM THE MANAGER!!!! This is unacceptable and the message left with the employee to the manager was that my girlfriend was just there for service and needed to discuss the situation. We have recommended Kia of Greer to many people but will from this point on discourage anyone from purchasing from them.

I traded in a 2013 Kia Optima financed at Kia in Anderson. I was not happy with the car nor was I happy that I financed a used 2013 for about the same price as a 2014!! So glad I called Kia of Greer and they were more than happy to help me out of the mess I got myself into....thanks JB. JB is the salesperson at Kia of Greer who was very apologetic with my experience I had at Kia of Anderson. JB was very professional, knowledgeable and wasn't just trying to make a sale. He listened to what it was I wanted and needed in the new car. JB made sure I got what I wanted and he made sure before I signed anything that I was getting the car that I so desperately wanted and was going to love (for more than 6wks). JB did an awesome job. I got the car I wanted and it was everything I asked for too. Kia of Greer is awesome. I just hope that this will be a new beginning to a bright future with Kia of Greer. My husband and I leased a 2014 Kia Soul on June 3rd, 2014 from Ed and Mike at Kia of Greer. We traded in a 2009 Ford Escape. We were at that time very pleased with the salesmanship and although signing the paperwork with Reggie seemed very rushed all seemed to have gone well. It is now June 19th and as of yet our Ford Escape has not been paid off at BB&T and we are expected to make our first lease payment on this new car in July even though we have not received anything in the mail to tell us where to send the new payment nor can we get anyone at Kia of Greer to call us back to explain. Meanwhile BB&T expects to be paid their payment for a car we no longer have (but according to them, still own) on July 2nd and we have no idea where to send the payment for the new car we leased. Hopefully you "Jilly" can help us with this one. Thank you.

I first got in contact with the General manager when I started looking. My credit is terrible but he went out of his way to help me get approved for a car. Service sucks. Warranty is no good because they just tell you that every problem you have is normal! Suckered by a dealership that don't care about you once the sale is completed. Resale of a kia is horrible. Hope you plan to keep it forever. Took 6 hours for an oil change that I even had an appointment for.

On September 30, I purchased two vehicles from your dealership: a 2014 KIA Sorento (the second one that I've purchased from you in 3 years) and and a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. The sales consultant, Joey Mims, was exemplary and the sales experience was outstanding. Please let me begin by saying that I do understand that the Pathfinder was used and had no warranty. A customer does, however, have a reasonable expectation that a vehicle purchased from a reputable dealership will not have any major issues within the first 3 weeks/ 500 miles...On 10/23, the check engine light came on. I brought the car to the service department and was told that the gas cap was not on properly. Nathan corrected the problem and I left feeling confident that the issue was resolved.Three days later, the light came back on and my son brought the car back in on 10/30. Evidently, the catalytic converter was bad. Nathan in the service department explained that one had been recently replaced, but the second one also needed to be replaced, as wellI ended up having the work done by an independent mechanic. I expressed my displeasure to the dealership and their response was phenomenal. Ann Rice contacted me to discuss my dissatisfaction and, to my amazement (well, not really...KIA of Greer is well known for happy customers,) promised to make this right. KIA of Greer completely turned around what could have been a miserable experience. I'm a customer for life!!

Well, they offer a "pre-qualifying" application online. This was our starting point because we knew we had less than perfect credit. We were actually surprised when they called us with an appointment time. We told them we wouldn't be able to offer a trade in or put any money down, and they told us to come on up, they were sure they could put us in something. After driving to this dealership which is almost 2 hours away, we were not successful in purchasing a vehicle. You would think the pre-qualifying application would actually be approved before they call you to come to the lot. After sitting there with someone other than the person we had an appointment with, because he was supposedly at the store, we had to fill out the same application we had already done online. Then we sat for quite awhile to see what they could do for us. When the guy finally comes back, he tells us they are sorry, but without about 1000.00 down, they couldn't help us. We even told them we could pay a bit more a month, and he said that might make a difference, but it would be Monday before he could do anything, but would call us then. He never did, but the guy we were suppose to have the appt. with did. He asked was there any way we could put something down. I told him I may be able to do 500.00. He said he would see if that would work, and he would call right back. almost 36 hours later, we still haven't heard from him. I will never even consider this dealership again, nor recommend it to anyone. But they say everything happens for a reason, and it did. We were finally able to connect with a great and honest dealership that got us in a brand new 2014 with no money down, and our monthly payments are right at what we requested.

I came in to get an oil change and check my Tires because warning light came on and needed to have them check. Once again, my service was stellar. Tony Smith saw that I was unhappy because I needed 4tires. Ron/Tony sat down with me and helped me understand what I needed and worked with me. I feel safer now because they checked on what I needed and I never feel like they take advantage of me being a woman that doesn't know about cars. tony took the time and once again.....this dealership service department does not disappoint. tony overheard me expressing concern and took the time with me. The only reason I gave a high rating for service was because of James Chapman, the Parts Manager. He was helping out in the service department when I brought my car in. He went above and beyond finding the problem with my car. When I previously brought my car in, a month earlier, the tech told me there was nothing wrong with my car and sent me on my way. Well, he was wrong. James took the time asked me questions about my car and figured out the problem. And, I can't thank him enough. Thank you again James, your assistance was very much appreciated.

I went online, and tried shopping at my local dealership for a new Optima. When I visited our Kia store, the sales rep I was working with online was not the same as I had to see. He kept trying to pressure me into buying a car that was over my budget and not even the right color. I went back online and found Kia of Greer. First of all, I was totally surprised that I had barely hit the button and I had a price emailed to me and as I was reading it, I received a call from their manager Mark Chaney. This all happened within 4 or 5 minutes. I explained what I had gone through at my local dealer and he assured me that the price he was quoting would be exactly what I would see when I got there. A little hesitant, I drove over and met with Mark. He introduced me to one of his internet team Sam. Sam showed me the car, we drove it and I bought it. Wanted to buy a good used car for my wife for our anniversary. She liked a used Volkswagen Beetle that was $2,000.00 over Kelly Blue Book price. But the salesman and everyone at the dealership ensured me that they thoughly "check" all their used cars, and they have no problems. The next day after leaving the dealership the car jerked and the automatic transmission wouldn't shift right. $2,200.00 dollars later after taking the Beetle to an experienced transmission repair shop my Beetle was fixed. The service mechanic said the car was leaking transmission fluid so bad the dealership had to know there was a problem. Sad, expensive, disappointing experience that I will share with everyone I know.

People read this review. I had the best service from April Osment and Service manager. Her boss stayed with her until my vehicle was ready. I was on my way out of town when my warning light came on. Come to find out my tire had nails in it. I had to be in Atlanta to meet up with my family member. They stayed until 8:00 with me fixed my car. They gave me a rental so I could finish doing my running around. In my 40 years I have never had service like this. I was born and raised in Detroit. My father worked for Chrysler and several family members work at ford. So I have a vast experience. bJ was my salesperson....he was attentive and kind and he followed up! He searched for exactly what I was looking for. This was my first really service issue. I first started out with James, but April saw me through, offered me popcorn, eased my mind because of my trip. You must buy a car from Kia of Greer. They are my soulmate of dealerships...thank thank thank you!

I did not think that I would be able to get a new car as I had just graduated collage and just started work a couple months ago. i don't have the best credit in the world by any means,i truck needed more work than it was worth. call kia of greer spoke with christine mayo. she was easy to work with.she didn't push us at all, she did scare us on the test drive. i went in looking for a cheap car, she was able to put us into a 2013 rio for under $400.00 a month. i will go back to her when i need another car. i have been telling all my friends about her.she is wonderful and will treat you right.

i bought a 2008 impala from kia of greer they told me the tradein i had they had sold it 4 years before for 2800.00 i took his word for it well they have it for sale on there website right now for 6400.00 they only gave me 1000.00 for the trade said that is all its worth now. i learned my lesson from this i wont be doing any more buying from them shame on them

My initial reason for visiting this dealership was to look around and to determine what the market was looking like as I was considering getting rid of a car that I owned. Brian spent a great deal of time answering my questions and addressing my thoughts/concerns related to the automobile market, never pressuring me to purchase a vehicle. I have never had service as great as with Kia of Greer. Their service manager, Randy Highlander, is the best!!! From the moment, I pull my car into the service lane, I know that it is going to be a good experience. Friendly and courteous service personel are waiting to open the door and make sure that the wait is pleasant. I have the upmost confidence that they are going to take care of my car needs.The waiting area is clean and very comfortable. Last Saturday, as I drove into the dealership to have my car serviced, the smell of BBQ was in the air. When I entered the service waiting area, there was food available and a one-man band was playing. What a festive atmosphere!! People were looking at cars, eating and listening to music. Just a great and fun day. When the service on my car was completed, I was given an explaination of all the work in detail. Thank you Randy and your entire service department for continuing to take such good care of my car needs and making it such an a pleasant experience. You are the best!!!Last year, when I bought my Kia Sorento, at Kia of Greer, I had never been in their dealership. Thank you Lewis Byrd and all the sales staff at Kia of Greer. I never dream, I would be able to purchase a car as nice as the Kia Optima and at such a fantastic low price. This was without a doubt the best car buying experience I have ever had. The finance department along with management worked hard to get me into a car I loved at a price I could afford. Not only that, they went above and beyond the call of duty by recovering a decal from the window of my trade-in. When I returned to the dealership the next day to have my car detailed, they came and presented me with a beautiful gift bag. Inside was the decal in a beautiful frame. I had told them it was a gift my son had brought me from Nevada when he had gone out there to race. However, in 2010 my son was killed in a car accident. It is wonderful to know that there is a car dealership that would be compassionate enough to care about something that was so precious and personal to me. The next time I am ready to purchase a new car, I will definitely return to Kia of Greer.

I have dealt with this dealership before and found the experience to be satisfactory. However in January 2012, I needed to purchase a new Kia vehicle with a certain trim/options package and they would not look for one, or even retiurn my phone calls. Sales manager and sales person kept telling me that would get back to me and never did. My phone calls to the dealership front deak went unreturned. Ended up going to another local Kia dealership and got what I wanted there. Will not buy from Kia of Greer again.

traded my car in sept 18. It is now oct. 19. My old car has not been paid off. Have made attempts to speak to Donald the finance guy who btw will never return my calls. let my rephrase that. he did call me on oct.14 to give me what obviously was a fake check no. for the payoff. I have contacted Kia in California and even have a case no. but they always suggest I call my dealership. Sounds logical BUT they DO NOT CARE! This is going against MY credit! M y old car is on their lot. Am going to have to take it a few steps further it looks like. Tomorrow will be 30 days past due on a car I no longer own but am obviously still obligated to. Will NEVER recommend Kia of Greer to anyone. My rating for this dealership is FAR BELOW ZERO. Will be speaking to someone else asap in hope of resolving what seems to be MY problem.

Due to a recent accident my college aged daughter was left without transportation and I needed a replacement vehicle, quickly. The salesperson James Brown was wonderful and my experienced was great until I had to deal with Bryan. He supposedly was the store manager (don't know how he gain that position). He was rude and very unfriendly. He has the personality of a bully. I would've came back to purchase vehicle if he had an ounce of customer service skills. Whatever he's good at?...You all need to keep him in back office doing it away from any customers. The owner really needs to send him to etiquette classes to teach him some manners.

We drove 70 miles to this dealership to look at KIA's. JB greeted us and was most knowledgable about the products. We ask about a few different ones. Several salespeople spoke and greeted us and asked if we were being helped. JB took us on 2 test drives describing all the attributes of the cars he knew so well. He answered all questions to our satisfaction. It was his professionalism in selling the car, and the dealership to us, that was the reason we drove a new Kia Sportage home today. JB was so pleasant and worked hard to satisfy not only our car and financing needs, but was instrumental in getting the deal done! Steve a manager, was just as courteous and friendly as he was professional. He cared about our visit and our satisfaction with every detail of the transaction. Ron in finance, was patient, as well as he coached us through the paperwork explaining our options without selling more products we did not need. He explained the advantages very well of extended maintenance , but we had our own products covering those items. We felt like we were treated fairly, dealt with honestly, and recieved value for our money. The highlight was certainly JB. He was a gentleman that I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or deal with again myself.I WILL RECOMMEND KIA OF GREER AND JB!We enjoyed out drive home this evening, in our new KIA!

From the moment I arrived for maintenance on my 2005 Kia Sorento, George Hooper was very friendly and treated me with upmost respect. I was there originary for getting a price quote for maintenance work at Kia of Greer. George answered some questions I had about dealer buyback of my 2005 Sorento and even showed me some of the newer Sportage and Sorento models. He answered all my questions and was very patient with me as I went to get the maintenance work prices that I needed. As I became more interested he considered deals that I presented in a professional manner, until we finally were able to come to a good deal on a 2012 Kia Sorento. After the deal was completed, he introduced me to Ron Bieschke, the business manager, who answered all my financing questions and helped me get through all the paperwork. I like the people at this dealership...Greg, Susan Whitehead, Tony (one of the managers) and Donald, (the business officer) are people I've come to know and appreciate. It reminds me of the kind of dealership relationship my grandfather had. He would return to the same place because he knew the people and knew they would work with him so that he was pleased when he left. It doesn't stop there. Certainly, I have my vehicles serviced at Kia of Greer. I love the special coupons they send in the mail. I've also had to use the service department when we experienced serious problems with the engine on our first Kia. These folks worked hard to make it right! Susan was in service at the time and was amazing! She still comes out of her office to speak (by name!) to us when she sees us at the dealership. This place is a cut above.

I will never go to Kia of greer again to purchase a vehicle. I bought a used Ford F150 truck from there and made them aware of problems with the trucks door locks,and the ABS braking system and also noise coming from steering wheel when turned. Well, 8 trips back and keeping the truck a total of 9 days they say they are working on it,but nothing has been done on any of it!!! No loner vehicle offered ,phone calls to service and sales managers were ever returned. I want a full refund!!!!!And if not I will be the guy riding around town with writing all over the windows deterring potential customers of Kia of Greer

We went into the dealership just to look, not buy a car. We left with a Forte and we are very happy with it. Kelly was very nice and not pushy. She did a good job of telling us about the car and getting us the price we could live with and afford. About a month after, we got a slow leak in one of the tires and brought it back to find out what was wrong and John took care of us. We waited about an hour and the car was checked out and fixed for us. We really didn't want to like the car but we really do. To be honest, buying a car from a dealership is a dreaded experience. I don't respond well to the usual aggressive, kiss-a** attitude of a car salesman. My experience at Kia of Greer was completely different from what I've come to expect from dealerships. The salesman I worked with, Greg, was not at all aggressive. He seemed very genuine and friendly, and more importantly, he wasn't pushing me to make a decision. In fact, the only thing he was even the least bit pushy about was that I adjust the driver's seat so that I was completely comfortable when I test-drove the car (which I ended up buying), and he seemed more interested in what I was looking for and helping me out than making a sale for his benefit.The gentlemen (one man's name was Ron, the other I don't remember) who handled the financing were very upfront and professional. The car I bought was pre-owned, and they readily shared all available information they had on the vehicle. I think I got a pretty good deal on the car, and so far I'm very happy with it!The only complaint I have about the overall experience is the wait time. I felt that it took longer than necessary to take care of the financial side of things simply because I spent most of the time just waiting. On the bright side, Greg was there to provide hot chocolate and good conversation.My overall experience was great, and the customer service was awesome. I would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone, especially people who hate pushy salesmen, whether you're buying a Kia or pre-owned car.

Kia of Greer uses the bait-and-switch marketing scheme. I was greeted by a sloppy salesman with stains on his shirt. I had gone to Kia because they were advertising new Kia Rios for $6,981 which are advertised on television and in the newspaper. However, they have no intention of selling you a car for $6,981. The salesman even told me that. The car for $6,981 comes with no AC, no power windows, no power locks. I live in South Carolina in the 21st Century. I expect to have windows that roll down easily with air conditioning because it gets hit in the summer. They didn't even have the car that sold for $6,981. In fact, the new Kia Rios were selling for $19,000! That is almost 3x the price they advertise. Kia of Greer should be used as one of the best examples of bait-and-switch. I was highly disappointed.

The only issue we had was with the finance person he was not friendly at all but everyone else was. Also after we purchased the car we have not had a phone call from them like other dealerships have called us asking if everthing was okay with the car.

Saw an add on TV for a 2010 Rio for $7481. Good price, all I needed was a basic get around car and I needed to cut my payment alot. I went in the next day to see if was the truth or just more "crap" to get you in. The price was correct and they only had one left (no surprise there). 5 speed, no air, power windows, power steering, door locks, or cruise control. No problem, all I wanted was basic transportation. I went back two days later and asked if the car was still there and the price was still the same. Yes on both accounts. Ok, lets see if we can deal. The payoff on my car is #13,774, they allowed me $12,445. I figured 7481 plus 300 for taxes and about 45 to get a new tag-$7826. Add in the 12,445 for my car and I had $4619 equity. With the pay-off of $13,744 and the equity of $4,619 and I was financing $9,155. NOTE: These are all my figures. When I received their paperwork, the price of the car had increased to about $8,540. They had added a rebate of $2,000 which left the cost being about $6,540. Their bottom line showed me financing just udner $13,000. When I asked how they had arrived at that ammount, especially with the new cost being about $6500, I was told it was because they had to pay off my car. Everytime I asked "Why?", I got the same answer. I told them there was no way I would by the car with a deal like that. I was told to call back today after they considered a new deal. When I called back, the answer was still the same. They had to pay off my car. Soooooo no Kia, now and forever!

Just purchased our 4th Kia from KIA OF GREER!!!! Would not go anywhere else to purchase another car. Sales, Service, and Friends are great. We have had a '05 Optima, '07 Sedona, and a 08' Sorento. Just traded the mini-van for the new '10 Optima which we have had for two days and absolutly love. Christine is also the best salesperson we have ever dealt with, and would recommed to anyone. We also received a bird dog fee for referring a friend who bought a '10 Soul, which she loves also.

Christine Mayo was the sales person I dealt with. She was friendly and informative about the car. She pointed out the safety features and the ammenties the Forte has. Christine was very friendly and very helpful. She found me what I was looking for and they were able to get the payments down to something I could live with. I really like the 2010 body style of the sportage, its sporty looking and easy to park. The dealership at Kia of Greer was clean and well appointed. I like that the service area is open late and on weekends and there is plenty of room and a television to keep the kids occupied. Christine has called me on several occasions to see how I was liking my new SUV and even sent me a picture of me with my new car. When I am ready for my next vehicle purchase, she will be my saleperson.

I had a very good experience with all involved. A couple of things bothered me. After I had made an appointment, I made it very clear that I would not be able to put any money down. When the deal was in the making, I was asked for $5000.00 down. When I reminded them I had been very clear about not be able to put money down, I was asked if I could put $2000.00 down (since I would be getting money back for my extended warranty) and again I said I could not. In order to get the vehicle I wanted, I had to come up with $1000.00 down. The commnet was made to me "if this deal can't be made, I would be stuck in my Lincoln". I never felt like I was "stuck" in my Lincoln. I simply wanted an SUV. Christine was wonderful to deal with. She was able to anticipate my needs and always seemed excited about something she felt I might enjoy.

I went to purchase a new car. I dont have established credit.So I knew I had to have a co signer. I drove the Forte. I thought the price was very high considering it was the 2010 and the 2011s are now available. Kia Forte LX with nothing added. No power windows or anything special. No keyless entry. Anyway, they were asking 18500. then with the 1500 kia rebate it was 17000. they only dropped to 16800. I ask about the military 500 dollars off and they told me I had to be active. But THAT is a kia rebate. Kias website states active duty, Guard, Reserve and even family of military receive the rebate. I didnt know all this prior or I wouldve left. They left me sitting there going through BS for 8 Hours! Then said banks were closed and sent me home. I called them the next day and they said my saleman was off. They didnt have the nerve to say i didnt qualify to my face for a loan. I told them up front i needed a co signer and had one. But they wanted to try without then left me hanging. I went to Farrell Kia and the prices are way less. Way better service. They dont leave you sitting there forever. Its fast and to the point. Save yourself the hassle and drive to Spartanburg and go to Farrell Kia.

Don't waste your time with Kia of Greer......go to Farrell Kia if you want to deal with decent folks that really help you. I requested an internet quote on a specific stock vehicle from their website and recieved an answer from Christine Mayo, the Internet Sales Mgr, that I needed to come in to get the quote and view the vehicle. I made an appointment with her and when I got there I was greeted by another sales woman stating that Christine had a doctor app't. I asked her to show me the vehicle and after walking around the lot with her she could not locate it so we went inside. I explained to her I just wanted to pick up the quote, I had already decided on the specific vehicle I wanted and had already received two other internet quotes. I could go on and on with how rude and inconsiderate these folks were but the bottom line is they didn't even have the vehicle, they tried the bait and switch technique, the price they finally gave me was inflated by about $2000.00 and that was after they wasted my time letting me sit there. I was so angry at being misled and jerked around that I just left but decided to go back in and let the sales manager know how unhappy I was with the lies and the customer service. He let me vent and just looked at me like he could care less.....no apology......just more lies!

My wife and I went to Kia of Greer, SC yesterday with the hopes of purchasing her a new car. After looking at several dealerships covering a large span of companies, we set our eyes on Kia. Needless to say, we were highly disappointed. First, our salesman wanted to sell us a 2009 model Rio LX. Now that didnt bother us so much even though we were taking a hit in the depreciation wallet considering the 2010 models were already out for sale. What bothered me is their insistance on negotiating from the MSRP of the car which was a WHOPPING $17,645 on a car already a year old!!!! Obviously the salesman didnt understand english when we stated that there was no way that we were paying full price on a new vehicle that was already a year old. Well, to make a long story short, we spent the better half of our lives (3 hours) before growing tired of their foolishness and walking out without a car. I would not recommend Kia of Greer to anyone. If you are in South Carolina, check out Galenana in Columbia or Kia of Greenwood. You will definitely enjoy the car buying experiences there. Nevermind their classic "bait and switch" technique. They were advertising Kia Rio's for 77797.00. When we got there, this model didn't have AC and was a manual Transmission. The salesman Glen Fornasier clearly steered us to the next model up which with just AC and an automatic transmission was a whopping 10,000 more!!! Also, one other thing, another dealer's salesman told me years ago that it was illegal to sell a car without AC in South Carolina. Now if anyone can shed light on that, I'm all ears.Kia of Greer = Pits of Hell.

I AM soooo disappointed in with my service. I went in with the intention of buying a new car but I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T! I test drove a EX optima and fell in love with it so I took my business to Spartanburg and ended up with the SX edition and WOW what a deal I got. I paid 4,000 less for the SX than I would have paid for the EX. I was told I was going to get the car for 14,995 and when I went to sign the papers I was going to finance 30,000+ (WHAT?!?!?!?!) They added in my trade when they gave me the 14,900 price, (which they didn't tell me). I know Im young, but not stupid. I know it's called Kia of Greer, but should be called Scam of Greer. I've told all my friends NOT to buy from this dealership at all, to take there business to Spartanburg and SAVE a ton of money! Bottom line, Kia of Greer should have better management, better customer service, and a better finance team. I can't believe Kia of Greer is still in business.

I contacted Kia of Greer to purchase a new '09 Sportage because an internet search showed it had a silver 5-speed base LX with A/C--just what I wanted. MSRP on this, including destination, is $18,390. Kia has a factory-to-consumer rebate of $3,000, which makes it $15,390--and that's paying sticker. "Ms. Ann" told me she'd be glad to sell me a green one at a discount, but if I wanted the silver one they have in stock, I'd have to pay $16,000, or $610 ABOVE sticker. For a Kia?! (Note--Kia doesn't charge any different price for color--they're all the same.) I said no thanks. When she called back, she said she had some "Good News!" She claimed she was doing me a favor because there were others who were begging to buy it and were glad to pay $16,000, but she was willing to give me first dibs. I thanked her but told her to go ahead and let one of the others in line have it. Surprisingly, days later, it's still in their inventory. Bottom line: If you want to pay more than sticker for a Kia (that's hard to say with a straight face), Kia of Greer will gladly oblige. Be sure and ask for "Ms. Ann."

Originally purchased a 2005 Kia Optima new from this dealer. My service experiences have been very good to excellent, although more frequent than hoped. I was not notified of some repair recalls until I arrived at the dealer with a problem that was covered by the recall notices. I went to purchase a new 2009 Rio after hearing an add for a Rio priced less than $10,000. Once I arrived, I got a very pushy bait and switch pitch steering me toward more expensive models. I expected my owner loyalty discount, but of course it didn't apply to any non-base model. The base model RIO I wanted to see was "on the truck" somewhere and was four wheels and a body. No A/C, manual transmission, etc. The next model up with A/C and automatic was almost $9,000 more for those "optional" features. I finally left after getting tired of the hard sell. The last thing pushed at me as I left the lot was a used 2004 Optima with 40,000+ miles for almost as much as I originally paid for my new Optima in 2005! With the pricing differential no longer as significant, I will now stick with brands having equivalent pricing and better resale value. I like Kia, but I think they have lost touch with the low-end cost-conscious consumer! Too bad.
