I shopped around for about 2 weeks and came back to Kopren 3 times to compare. Tommy was very kind and informative but low pressure which I appreciate. He was able to get me a good deal on the car and even delivered it to me at work. Overall good experience.

I decided to go to Kopren motors to check out a few cars I found for sale in the rapid area, via a website I found from google searching "cars near me". When I arrived at Kopren I was greeted by smiles from all of the staff. And my salesman Tommy B. was very knowledgeable on all the vehicles specs. Of the cars I looked at! He wasn't pushy for a sale, instead he asked me what I was looking for, followed by " I will do my best to sell you a vehicle you're going to love driving" and after about thirty minutes I agreed to the sale of a 2014 Ford Taurus! The staff at Kopren replaced a cracked mirror, and scheduled an appointment for me to get another minor issue fixed ( the radio ) both issues were fixed before my sale, and the price stayed the same. Tommy wanted to make sure I got the best value for the vehicle I was interested in, and I could tell he sincerely had my best interests in mind! I then went to my local bank, and they did an "auto-check" on my future car and found that it had a clean title, my bank was also surprised and excited, for me, that Kopren was selling the vehicle for 1000's less than market value! Most car buying experiences I have had, have gone smoothly, however with other dealers I've dealt with in the past, they have always asked for higher prices up front, so that they can negotiate with the buyer to a price closer to book value, so they make more profit on the sale. . . However, Kopren was honest with their price upfront, and I am proud to say that I will refer any friends and family to Kopren, because I know the Kopren family will treat my family as well as they treated me! When I was pre-approved for Auto Financing, there was no doubt in my mind that I was going to give it my best shot to buying a car. I was excited because after 2 years rebuilding my credit I was finally given the opportunity to take a next step and get a car that was reliable and economical. I came in and talked with John who has a straightforward and gentle character about him, I was very happy to have dealt with him. I told him my situation, my "life story" so to speak, and what I wanted to do as far as planning my budget so he could help me find a car which met my needs relatively. He did just that! Him and Karmon both worked to find me someone who would give the full approval with a good rate and low downpayment. I must say, they delivered. The 2015 Toyota Corolla was that pick, and it's been a gem thus far. I took it to Omaha, NE and back the following day when purchased to visit my family, it was nice having to cancel that rental car! Thank you both and everyone else there working to establish a new standard for Rapid City regarding customer service. A family owned business should be much more appreciated since this is what they are doing and I am very happy to write this review for them. Cheers!

By far the best used car buying experience I've ever had. The sales staff were attentive to my needs and not pushy in the least. At other dealerships I felt rushed and that the "sale" was the only thing on the mind of the staff. Not here at Kopren Motors. I was able to take my time looking over the vehicle and was able to make a good deal on some minor maintenance issues I wanted to be addressed. Used vehicles might be sold "as-is" but here at Kopren you can rest easy knowing they aren't trying to push junkers. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Kopren Motors. If I'm in the market for a used vehicle again this will be the first place I check.

I bought a 2 year old car from these people, about one week after purchase the car started making a very loud and annoying squeak from the rear passenger suspension. I took the car to the manufacturers dealership and they told me the bushing was shot and needed to be replaced. I took this info back to Kopren and the salesman who sold me the car was rude and told me they had no obligation to even look at the car. I drove off and the manger contacted me and was polite and scheduled a time for a mechanical review. I dropped the car off for a day, they said there were loose bolts and they tightened them and the problem was fixed. I don't know if this was incompetence, or a lie, but the car made even more noise after they tightened the bolts. I had the problem fixed by the manufacturer, and the bushing was completely destroyed, so either their mechanics have no idea what a bushing is supposed to look like or they just don't care about the quality of cars they send out of their shop. If you supposedly fix a problem you would think they would confirm that they fixed it, which they obviously did not do. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service after the sale and would recommend that people look elsewhere for good customer service. It was a 15 dollar bushing and they took every effort to not fix it, and succeeded. If possible buy a car from someone else.

I don't usually write reviews on businesses.. But. I purchased a 2008 Chevy Malibu with only 80,000 miles on it from Kopren less than six months ago. I thought I was getting a great deal and was treated fair on the day of purchase, but I was very wrong.The very first week I had the car, it didn't start on three different occasions but the engine light wasn't on, but I took it in, and they couldn't find the issue. My car continued to not start week after week, I took it in every time and the repairmen there couldn't seem to find the issue. Time went by and after three trips to Kopren, they still couldn't find the problem. Now miraculously after my warranty was up, they find three problems with the car, and did not offer to help in any way. Throughout the time I have owned it (Not even 6 months) The car engine light has gone on so many times, has had electrical issues, and STILL does not start after Kopren assured they would take care of the issue if they ever "find what's wrong." The last time I was there they gave me a list of the problems with the car and gave me a $500 dollar quote for the issues, one of them including a Engine Check with a date on the scanner BEFORE I even purchased the vehicle, they at least could have offered to take care of that.Don't buy from this auto company. They have CHEAP cars for a reason- they're lemons, and auction cars. I can't say this enough- TAKE THE CAR YOU LOOK AT TO A THIRD PARTY REPAIR SHOP BEFORE BUYING! Get an honest opinion and thorough analysis on the condition, or else you will be stuck with vehicle that sucks, and to top it off, money-sucking problems from the moment you buy it.

We drove to Rapid City from Nebraska (about 2 hours) to shop for a used vehicle. We stopped at several dealerships and were unimpressed with our treatment before stopping at Kopren Motors. Kopren was very different. The staff were all friendly and professional. Danny Scolaro was great to work with and helped us find just the vehicle we were looking for. He was low-pressure and very helpful, which we appreciate greatly. When there was a small mechanical problem with the vehicle after driving it home, Kopren Motors was right on top of fixing it for us - even though they had no legal obligation to do so. What great service! We couldn't be more happy and feel like they really went the extra mile for us! Thank you to Danny and Mike for superior service. We'll be back!

The salesman Daniel Scolaro was low key and friendly which I appreciate. He kept me coming back. Bought a Sebring, my wife loves it, hope its alright. The warranty on the motor gave me more confidence. I was a bit confused that they didn't fill up the gas tank which I felt was customary. Not happy with that especially considering they were willing to drive the car to Belle after I bought it. I made the trip down to Rapid City and I thought it would have been proper to fill it up for the customer. Recommending? I will have to see how this car pans out........

I spotted a 2014 Nissan Frontier that looked like the vehicle I was looking for. The salesman was Danny-O. He was very personable, and didn't bug me for a week after my test drive. He gave me a courtesy call a week later, but still no heavy sales pressure. I researched the price comparisons, and they were fairly close, but they did deal with me with a lower price. The lifetime engine warranty was icing on the cake. I would consider it a very good experience.

Drove down from ND to Rapid City SD, SO worth the trip down. Danny - O was very helpful and friendly. We LOVE the Tribeca! They all made the entire buying procedure smooth and pleasant. i recently bought a sonata from these guys and was impressed by the cleanliness of the car, although it has small bugs, for the price i payed and the lifetime engine warranty it was well worth the wait, would definately recommend to a friend

I visited the dealership to test drive a 2011 Nissan Rogue. It is a great vehicle, good gas mileage and in very good condition. I has many extras; ones I probably would not have been able to afford if it were new. John worked with me and I must say the customer service was excellent, and I will recommend other who are looking to purchase a used vehicle go to that dealership. I got a 5year bumper-to-bumper warranty (minus your regular maintanence), and the payments were within a range I could afford. The warranty gave me peace of mind and that is important, but I was really surprised at how helpful both the salesman (John Bush), and the financing department were. I hope other dealerships offer service like this dealership does. I am so very happy with my purchase, and I will send customers their way whenever possible. Thank you so very much for such kindness, attentiveness, and just good people; people interested in helping the customer out, more so than worried about making a buck. Great transaction; excellent service!

Great place to buy a used vehicle! Family owned and operated and quick easy service, the only thing that took a while was waiting for my bank to get the paperwork back but it wasn't on the dealer. John was our salesman and I recommend anyone going to pay these guys a visit when looking to by or trade! Thanks again guys!

Recently purchased a vehicle. In the past from other dealers I always drove off the lot with a full tank of gas. With this purchase it was almost empty. The other thing that bothered me was I only received one key. Sometimes its the small details that can make the difference. Yes the vehicle was clean and yes I believe I got a good ride. Time will tell. In the future if I did business with Kopren again I would make sure the small details were part of the deal. It should just be a courtesy with a sale to say thanks to go along with the hat.

Just bought a used 2005 Ford from Kopren. Great staff. Friendly, helpful, not pushy at all. There was a couple minor issues that needed to be fixed on it. They took care of the repairs and knocked a couple hundred off the price. They were recommended by a trusted friend, and I would recommend them to friends as well. I haven't had many positive experiences with car dealers, but this was definitely one.

John and Mike went above and beyond helping us get into an excellent used vehicle. My wife and I went back and forth over several vehicles while John patiently explained them all. The entire buying process was so simple and easy. We visited several dealerships in the area and were treated very poorly because we didn't want to buy what they were trying to push on us. Kopren was absolutely the best car buying experience I have had in my life!!!!

I could not have had a better experience buying a car than at Kopren. Both John and Mike were great to deal with. I drove all the way from eastern Minnesota to get the car I wanted and they even held it for 24 hours so I would have a chance to make the drive. Then they gave me more than the blue book value for my trade-in.

Kopren Motors is a great place to start out with a great car or if you don't have much money on hand. They were very nice and respectable. The buying process was a little long but they gave us a wonderful price and great monthly payments on our truck. We still have no problems and it was a great deal. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This is the second time we I have gone to Kopren to purchase a vehicle. They went above and beyond to help my grandson get financing for his car. Mike and Len were SO accommodating and worked hard to get the price where it needed to be. As a matter of fact, we walked into Kopren at 9 in the morning and finally sealed the deal about 5 that night. That is what I call true customer service. They gave their time willingly and didn't seem annoyed at all that it was taking so long. I would recommend that anyone who needs a car to check out Kopren. They are the BEST!!!
