Last week we were in the market for a used SUV and visited Lexus of Colorado Springs. We decided to postpone the purchase of a vehicle but wanted to compliment the dealership and sales rep Michael Young on how we were treated. All of our questions were answered. We took two very long test drives. Michael put everything in writing but never pushed us. I would not hesitate at all to recommend Michael to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

The entire buying experience was very pleasant. No bait and switch, delay tactics or "I have to talk with the sales manager," etc. I told Tom what I wanted to do with regard to cash vs. trading and we went from there. We had two ES 350's to check out and chose the 2013, test drove it and began the serious part of buying. I told Tom what I needed if I traded our 2003 ES vs a cash down payment and he came back with a hand shake and congratulations.All through this process Becca, our greeter and assistant, was cheerfully available for our every need! Good job Becca! Beth coordinated our appointment and provided valuable assistance on inventory questions.All in all, our trip to the Springs was a big success. I highly recommend a trip to the Springs if you are in the market for a Lexus!

Car Dealers generally leave the public feeling they are not getting a fair deal. This is because dealers start with high prices and expect the public to ask for price concessions. So when I asked for a lower price, I was made to feel like I was mistrusting the dealer and their "OFFERED FAIR PRICE".Other than the process for arriving at the sales price, I had a good experience.I will say, however, the whole process took too long (6 hours).Kudos to Bill Kaminski for a fine job as the face for me of Lexus in Colorado Springs.

I recently went to this dealership to look into buying a used car and was greatly disrespected on the car valuation process. The used car sales manager printed out a list of comparable cars of my make and model from all across the US, as far as Florida and New Jersey. This tactic is truly a slap in the face of a local consumer and is unfair for the local purchaser. I would not recommend trading in a car at this dealership.

After researching the car online at this dealership, the sales person was there for an appointment with all the information ready to discuss. After market and technical support were immediately available after sale. The car was in the showroom, prepped and ready to go. We left with our car in their hands and drove off in the new car in less than 4 hours after financing. Great place!! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new car! Excellent professional and knowledgeable personnel in all departments!

Lexus of Colorado Springs makes the car buying experience less painful through amicable salespersons and knowledgeable staff. Between test drive and voluminous legal paperwork, there is no way to spend less than three hours but this dealership minimizes the discomfort. Our salesman Tom Smith explained all features and was very knowledgeable about the products. This dealership was more willing to negotiate than dealers in the metro Denver area.

This was not a quick visit. We had already decided on a vehicle. We test drove then began the processing of paperwork. Every step was with out pressure and employees were all going out of the way to be helpful and answer all questions. When a slow down occurred in processing we met with a technological advisor and received as much instruction as we could absorb at the time. The sales rep had worked out most of the cost information so the financial portion just required so though as to our needs.

Patrick Blair found the best car for me for the best price. He is knowledgeable, very easy to work with, and even called me a couple of days later to be sure I am still happy with my car. And Yes I am!! Since for me, buying a car is like dragging a 1000 pound rock up Pikes Peak in 100 degree heat, Patrick made the process SO easy, he did all the dragging and I just had to watch. Just purchased my 5th Lexus vehicle. I have always appreciated the quality of the vehicles and the servicing of those vehicles at Lexus of Colorado Springs. Just watch the dealer charge. The advertisement will say it is included in the price but they will add it back in on the final write up. The 140 point inspection left me with bad wiper blades, very low tire pressure in one tire, and the oil service notice was not reset.

After leasing our first Lexus three years ago from Kuni of Colorado Springs we definitely wanted to purchase an upgrade from them. Tom graciously kept us informed about the delivery date as timing was crucial for us. Upon arrival special arrangements were made within a day for us to pick up the vehicle. I usually let the product sell itself. In this case, I was met by Zingi Wilson, a true processional that did just that plus provided those intricate details unknown to the buyer. It took me three trips to make final decisions on options and packages. Every trip, either Zingi, Alan or another Kinu professional met me at the door and again let the vehicle sell itself. I ordered my RX and was in no hurry for delivery. Zingi delivered almost 8 weeks ahead of schedule. He also advised me of the car-buying plan at Costco. I was planning on using USAA, Costco was better. On delivery day, I arrived several hours ahead of the scheduled time, no problem, Zingi worked me into his schedule and made delivery. Alan Paul provided me the "how to operate" your vehicle session. I've had experiences as to where I'd rather that person drop dead. Alan made me feel comfortable and fully explained his responses to every question. Excellent buying experience with Kuni Lexus. My only regret was pronouncing Zengi's name wrong on a couple of occasions. However, his professionalism shined high on each occasion.

I had researched on line for at least three to four months before I found the perfect vehicle at Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs, and this was researching vehicles within a 200 mile radius. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle at their location, and it had all the features and requirements that I was interested in plus additional features that made it more appealing. Since this is a major purchase next to purchasing a home, it can be very stressful. Working with Rich Cruz made that stress go away. Rich was very informative and gave me factual information about the vehicle assisting me in deciding that I had made the right choice. Rich was there to help me make a good well-informed decision and with no pressure added at all. He didnt pressure me into making a decision the day I walked in, but of course I came back since I knew it was the right one. Zengi Wilson was very helpful as well. Financing in most cases makes or breaks a deal, and he was able to obtain better financing than I was offered at another dealership and on my own personally. Even though a Company may have more resources to obtain these options, employees may not take that extra step to do so, as he did. The customer service was definitely there from all employees from sales, technical, financing, and accounting. All employees made me feel very comfortable which is very helpful in making the right decision. So dont be hesitant in walking into Kuni Lexus because I am very happy that I did.

My main reason for giving this review is my salesman Tom Smith. This is the third vehicle I have bought from this dealership. This is my first time dealing with Tom Smith but I was very please with everything about him. I live in Las Vegas, so to go to Colorado to purchase a vehicle says alot about this dealership.Tom always returned my calls immediately and answered all my questions. When I flew to Colorado, he picked up my husband and I at the airport and then we completed the transaction. He even bought me a birthday cake because it just happened to be the day before my birthday. The staff sang Happy Birthday to me and we all had cake. Everyone was very nice but Tom was on top of the pile... He was Great!!! I wish we had Lexus dealeships like that in Vegas.... It would save me a long drive!!!!Cheers to Kuni Lexus!!!!

My wife and I were in the market for a used IS 250. We scoured the internet and found our perfect car at Kuni Lexus, a CPO IS 250 in the right color with all the options we wanted. I contacted the dealership via website and was contacted by Michael Young. I explained I was from out of town so could not go "kick the tires" in person, so Micheal called me from the lot and did a complete walk around while on the phone with me. I was assured by Michael that this car was "everything I'm telling you it is".... We made the trip to Colo Springs and found the car to be in excellent shape and as Michael stated "everything he said it was"... the car was in near perfect condition. Michael was very patient, no high pressure tactics, he was honest, followed up with us and kept in contact with us during the entire process. I must have txt him at least 100 times but he always answered my questions. (Thank you Michael)We then worked with Kalib Steele, who explained all the features on the car and showed us how to use a lot of the technology that comes with Lexus Vehicles. He was patient and professional and gave us his full attention. He covered a lot of topics and answered all our questions very gracefully. The first thing we loved was the "no pressure" attitude everyone at Kuni had. We revisited the lot at least five times before deciding to purchase there and we never felt pressured into making a rash decision. Everyone was very friendly and we felt welcomed, even just to ask questions. Michael Young was a great representation of Kuni because he had a great deal of information on each vehicle and yet let us take the time we needed to make what will hopefully be a purchase we will have for many, many years. He listened to what our criteria was and didn't try to steer us to vehicles out of our budget. He made us feel very comfortable. After we made the decision, Natalie (finance), Kalib and Zengi worked with us to offer great support and even repair a few items on the car that were not quite perfect. Arm rests! Basically thats why we got the 04 RX330. They were affixed to the front seats, and they werent on the Acura, BMW, Buick, and other SUVs. Those center consoles stay put when you move the seats; in the RX they follow each drivers preferred seat placement. And, it drove nicelylike a Lexus. Though disappointed in the lowball offer for a trade-in, the price we got for a new Lexus was very competitive, and that sealed the deal. We liked it so much 4 years later we got another, a 2008 RX350. From experience, I sold my Audi myself and got a good deal on both cars.Almost 11 years later the 04 still drove well, but I didnt want unexpected problems down the road. On a breezy, cold, snowy late afternoon I cleaned up my 04 and stopped in to see about a newer RX. The price for a 2012 RX350 was competitive and they offered a very fair trade-in for the 04. Had they not, Id have haggled more on their price (buying 2 previous cars from them didnt seem to have the impact I expected).Personal service from Mike Y and Zengi was excellent, even if I was the only customer in the showroom for 3 hours on a lousy weather night. They were very attentive and polite and personalall you would hope for in buying from a dealer. Patrick was superb in going over the differences in the 2012, and I was surprised at how many there were. These experiences will likely bring me back in a few more years. Hopefully some of these folks will still be there to continue the relationship.But, my wifes still not happy about the arm rests. Its the little things that count.

We are, by our natures, generally hostile to any dealings with car salesmen and characteristically brace for a negative experience. Kuni in Colorado Springs provided a genuinely pleasant exception from what we were expecting. From the person holding the door open to the receptionist to the salesmen we had nothing to do with to the sales manager to our salesman to the technical representative, we encountered friendliness with no semblance of pressure. Their standard seems to be one of high professionalism - treat everyone walking through the door the same: with courtesy and unfeigned friendliness. It will be easy to go back to this dealership! Dealing with Kuni Lexus was absolutely outstanding. They really listened to what I was looking for and took the time to ask a few detailed questions to better understand my needs. The pre-sales support was focused on my wants, and not what they needed to sell. Melissa and Michael were very knowledgeable of the entire inventory. They were there with us the entire time, and yet there was no feel of that "aggressive salesman" at all. Their attention to my wife and I made the difference. Heck, Michael took the time to drive the vehicles we were thinking about (used and new models) to a section of the lot so we could see all five vehicles side by side. How many salesmen have ever offered to do that for you???? Bill (Sales Manager) also stepped up and closed the deal with his Customer skills.Once we decided to buy the SUV (GX460 Limited), Jennifer really was amazing. She must have spent two hours with my wife going over every technology feature (and Lexus has a lot). She not only explained the functions but helped set them up so they would be operable before we drove the vehicle off the showroom floor. This may not seem like much but until you experience this with Jennifer, you don't know what you are missing. Extremely customer oriented and knowledgeable of all the vehicle features (inside and out). The least favorite part of the auto buying experience for me is always the paperwork and financing. Don made that seem fast and easy. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. I feel confident that my experience was not an "exception" but rather what Kuni expects out of it's employees.

My only gripe is a minor one and not reflected in the overall rating...I thought there was too much effort expended trying to sell me expensive (i.e., overpriced) dealer add-ons such as extended warranty, interior/exterior protection, Lo-Jack, etc. after I had agreed on a purchase price. This is our third new Lexus since 2009. We wanted to up-grade because of the newsafety features and ease of the GPS. We were anti-hybrid until Bill suggested we testdrive the new ES300h. WOW! From the moment I walked in the door of the service department, I felt like a valued customer. The service representative, Tess Ausec, welcomed me immediately,and I did not have to sit and wait at all. She took care of my input, walked me to the waiting loaner car (door open and ready for me - Wow!) and kindly showed me how to use the keyless ignition. Tess kept me informed throughout the entire time my Lexus was in the service dept. and checked me out with a smile and pleasant demeanor.I really appreciated the loaner car, as I do not own another vehicle and work full-time. A few months ago we decided to start looking for a different vehicle. We decided that Motor City might be a good place to look. For years we had talked about owning a Lexus but always hesitated because we live in the mountains of Colorado, about a 4 hour drive from the closest dealer, and have been concerned about the logistics of service should we have a problem. This year we decided to stop talking and check things out. We contacted Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs and were introduced to Mark Fales. We found Mark to be not only extremely knowledgable about every aspect of the Lexus RX350; but most important to us, eager to help us find the right fit for us. Realize that most of this was via phone and email - if Mark was not going to be available, he made sure that there would always be someone available to help us. When we found our vehicle, it was in another state and had to be delivered to Kuni. We made the trip to Colorado Springs but due to trucking problems, the RX350 didn't arrive on time and we couldn't sitck around. Mark and the staff took care of us - they gave us a loaner RX350 so we could get home and then delivered our RX350, complete with the bow on top. Mark has since phoned and emailed us just to be sure that all is well with our vehicle. Over the years we have purchased a lot of cars from a lot of different dealers, and this was by far our best purchasing experience. My experience with Rick Dymek and the management staff was relaxed, friendly, and in fact a pleasure even though it was my money that was being negotiated. All dealings were relaxed and personable through delivery and have stayed that way to the present day. Rick's graciousness and continued followup to insure that his guests get the best of the best. I can state from experience that my experience with Kuni Lexus and Rick have and remain much more effective than any other dealership in the area has to offer. I have bought two Lexus' from Rick and would go back to Lexus and Rick in a heart beat as I know the approach there is one of relaxed professionalism, and that's unique in todays world.
