Had a blowout and a small wreck. Was almost hysterical when I got to dealership. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. They squeezed me in, calmed me down, got me a ride to work and came & picked me up when finished. Could not have been more impressed with the kindness I was shown from everyone. First blow-out I ever had. Was a scary situation. Was made much better by employees in service department at Lance Cunningham Ford, Clinton Highway.

However, the Ford service staff graciously fit my car into their busy schedule. I was in and out in less than an hour. Nice! And my Escape runs great.

Had some recall work done on my F-150 and I must say that I was very pleased in the whole process. No run around. Had an appointment at 2 PM but dropped it off early about 9 AM with no hassles. I was called about noon that it was done with a text to keep me informed of its status. Love the service and will definitely be bringing it back to LCF!!!

Having a number of experiences in buying cars over my years, this one has to be the best by far. Everyone at Lance Cunningham's dealership were accommodating, pleasing to be with, not pushy, considerate of my feelings and requests, and truly seemed to be interested in what I wanted. My sales rep, Preston Williams, was knowledgeable, understanding, and reasonable about my offer. Bought a new F-250 and the experience was great. We were in and out without the usual trade/purchase hassle. We got a great vehicle from great people. 20,000 miles later we hade an electrical glitch causing the backup camera to not function. The truck was scheduled for the warranty work at our convenience and the work was done in a timely manner. Their top notch service staff took great care of us.

I recently took my company car in for an estimate. After the estimate was prepared,i was told i would have to pay a diagnostic fee if we didn't use them for the service. Therefore, when my company didn't approve me to use them for the service, i had to pay the fee out of pocket. Therefore, i wish they had been upfront with this information before i let them check out me vehicle. Just not happy!

I bought a 1996 Mustang convertible in 1996. Had it for more than 10 years. Always got services done at Lance Cunningham. Never had any trouble. Recently took a 2007 F-150 4x4 in to have maintenance, yeah it cost a lot but I wasn't up-sold on things not needed. Yeah it took a couple days but it's not a fast food drive thru. Gene is the service manager and he is understanding. I am a woman and Gene has a wife. I'm sure he wouldn't want her to be treated badly. So I felt at ease with what I had researched to be what was needed and he took care of it. No surprises and he even put a little discount on the bill. Thank you Gene Charsha

I have had many problems with the service department at Lance Cunningham Ford. When I bought my truck from them they started out grate but it has gone down hill from there. I had problems with the way my truck was running. They never could figure it out. I fanally took it to a local mechanic who had it fixed the next day. Last month I thought I would give them a try again and purchaesed four new tiers. I set up an appointment for what they said should only take two hours only to find out after two hours they had not even started on changing the tires and would not be able to get to it that day so frustrating after making an appointment with them. The next day I get my new tiers and the service man says im sorry please let me try to earn your business back. The next time you come for service we will give you a dicount. So Last week my truck was running funny and I needed to go out of town. I called them up late that day and asked if they could get a rental truck for me the next day so I can drop my truck off and get the work done while I was out of town. The service man says no problem I will have it reay for you in the morning. The next morning I call before I head to the dealer just to make sure. The guy says I will have it ready for you. I get there and they don't have a truck like I asked for only a ford focus. I needed the truck tp haul some stuff for my trip. They waisted my time and I became frustrated and said to the guy why didn't you let me know you did not have things set up for me. Instead you waisted my time. He gets frustrated and walks me back to my truck and says just leave. I call the supervisor to tell him my experience he promises to call me back. A week goes by and no call. I finally call him and he says he talked with Lance Cunningham and he said they dont need my business and that I should not come back. Really!!!! can't believe that they dont care about the customer enough to say im sorry for messing things up. Yes I will never be back.

My girlfriend was looking for a new vehicle as she had gotten ready to trade in the jeep. I had told her about the ford focus st and we had went and test drove one in north Carolina. on a trip back home to see family in Tennessee we had stopped by lance Cunningham to check out the inventory. we didn't get rushed at the door or hassled when we got out of the jeep one salesman came over asked us how we where doing and if he could walk around with us and show us some cars. of course we said yes and he showed us some ford focus and fiestas. his name was Derek Cantrell he was new to the sales game but he was very good at talking to us and knew what to say and what not to say after he showed us the inventory we walked inside and he gave us a business card and introduced us to the sales manager Calvin Stephens. another great example of class at this establishment wasn't pushy didn't pester me he just wanted to thank us for stopping by and he asked what we where interested in and if we had anything to trade in. which we did. but Derek and Calvin and the financial guy named Travis treated us right she was a first time Buyer she got a great rate and we got great service from all three of them. it was worth the three hour drive for us to get there!! I will be going back in November to purchase my new mustang and I am looking forward to the GREAT customer service and experience again!! Lance Cunningham Knoxville TN Rocks!!!!!

Most deceiving car lot I've ever bought at! They lie, and do not stand behind their product. I've bought 8 cars in 12 years and this dealership is hands down the most unethical dealership I've shopped at. Stay away and go elsewhere. Below is a copy of the ext email that I sent to the 2 salespeople I dealt with. I would not recommend them as dog catcher. Once they get your credit info they shotgun your credit and never bother to follow up with a email, text or phone call. I was left in the dark for 5 days.Justin, Sasha,,This is James Ginter. You took my info last Friday for the Mustang that I was trying to buy and no one ever bothered to follow up with me if you could do the loan or not. I texted Sasha at least 5 times with no response and no phone call, nothing and I think that is pretty piss poor service on your part and hers and I do plan to let someone know about it. A 2 minute phone call to let me know you couldnt get me financed would have been nice. I will be buying this Mustang somewhere else obviously but I will also make sure that other potential customers of your dealership know how you treat your customers.James Ginter

Went to look for a used truck. Based on websites, figured my budget would allow for a 2012 or 2013 with about 30,000 miles. Met with John McCarthy. He showed me a used truck, but it wasn't what I really wanted. It was too long to fit in my garage. After checking his inventory, he showed me a brand new 2015 that met or exceeded my expectations (and fit in the garage!) With the Ford rebates, a fair trade in value and some deep, deep discounting from Lance Cunningham, I left driving the truck of my dreams at a price I never thought was possible (and within my budget!) The people here are rude, I was treated as if they were doing me a favor and i should be Thankfull. I asked if they had a water since I was in the office for two hours with paper work and was told yeah the Vending machine is down the hall. Every other dealer has coffee and bottle waters on hand for the customer. If you want coffee you better have $1.50 and dont expect creamer. I was lied to through the whole ordeal and would say avoid if possible

In 105K mile only Cunningham has touched the vehicle. One could perhaps cut corners at a local lube shop, but as a result of our trusting the vehicle with Cunningham there has only been one significant repair -- the entertainment / navigation system which was replaced under warranty. The employees have always been courteous and helpful, have done the servicing in a timely manner with no "take backs", and have expressed an appreciation for my visit. As a result, out 105K SUV looks and runs like a new one.

On our trip to Florida from Ohio, the transmission in the van stopped while on I75. We were towed two hours south to Lance Cunningham Ford in Knoxville. While it was an inconvenience (we had are two cats traveling with us) and the expense was not pleasant, everyone there was helpful, considerate and professional. Service Manager Jeremy Cleveland was helpful and kept us advised of the situation. After repaired, the trip home with the van went well with no problems or further issues. In addition, while waiting, I noticed a sign offering 12 months same as cash on repairs over $499 so that help ease the financial burden. Other than the repairs couldn't be done immediately, we continued on to Florida, requiring another trip up to TN to pick up the van.

We just bought a vehicle from this dealership. My husband was told there were no issues with things that he had specifically asked about such as rust. He was told they would fix the rear door so that it closes correctly and tighten the driver's seat since it was loose. He gave them 2 chances to fix the door correctly and that did not happen. The rear Jeep door does not close flush with the body of the Jeep. The top part of the door sticks out over half an inch past the body. The service department told hm it is supposed to be like that. They did tighten the seat bolts but a week later he had to tighten it again. Turns out the floor under the carpet is so rusted out that the seat will not even stay bolted down. We were told they had the carpet out when they cleaned it for my husband to pickup so clearly they were aware of the rust and why the seat would not stay tight. There are literally holes in the metal from so much rust. When this was brought to their attention the Service Manager, Jonathan referred to it as "surface rust" and said that we should have pulled up the carpet to check for ourselves before purchasing the vehicle and they would be willing to fix it for a repair fee. In one month's time since purchasing this Jeep, we have put over $2K into repairs that an ethical dealership would not have lied about or hidden at the time of purchase for safety reasons.There is no way we would ever return!!

I took my Escape in to have Lance Cunningham Ford check it out because the check engine light came on. I'm not one to let things go for six months before I see what's happening. They did some testing and found a bad fuel injector, replaced it, and I'm on the road again. Thanks, guys !

Had a great salesman in Russel Phillips. Did our financing with Travis who poorly explained the deal and then rushed us to sign ("the car will be sent to auction Monday. If you leave you lose your place and I don't know when I can get back to you.") We got home and read through the deal and got swindled, which is on us.

I was recently traveling from Athens Al. to Winchester Va. and broke down in Knoxville. I am an older woman and was traveling alone except for my dog. If you have any questions about the level of service, just sit in the service dept. waiting room. The complaints are many. During my extended wait, one man had a appointment for an oil change After a hour said still waiting for oil filter, the man said he could have walked up the street and bought one quicker, took two hours for oil change. Another man had work done on his truck and had to bring it back. After hours of waiting he was ready to go. He left and came right back, truck still not fixed. I took my car in for 80,000 check up. Brakes fixed? They did not squeak before they fixed them. They work on engine cooling system, now the warning light for cooling system comes on and car not running right. Told to bring it in and they would see if it was there work, or something else gone wrong. YEAH RIGHT! I would have to wait, could not provide loaner car, knowing I was moving out of state next day. I am hoping my car will make it to new town, because I no longer trust Lance to work on a bike. If you buy a car from them I recommend you get it serviced anywhere else.

I PURCHASE A TAHOE HYBRID 2 1/2 WEEKS AGO AND IT'S BEEN IN THE SHOP THREE TIMES NOW AND STILL THERE!!! TEN MINUTES AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP THE ENGINE STARTED REVVING UP WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED. MY FIRST REACTION WAS MAYBE BECAUSE IT WAS A HYBRID AND HADN'T BEEN DRIVEN LATELY, THE ENGINE AND FLUIDS WERE ADJUSTING...I AM NOT A MECHANIC SO I JUST DIDN'T KNOW. AS THE DAYS WENT BY, THE PROBLEM WORSENED SO I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY PERSONAL MECHANIC. THE PLUGS AND WIRES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY WHICH COST $250. THIS HELPED THE PROBLEM SOMEWHAT BUT NOT COMPLETELY. THEN, THE DRIVER DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN FROM THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE SO I TOOK IT TO MY LOCAL GM DEALER AND THEY HAD TO INSTALL AN ACTUATOR WHICH WAS $300. SO, JUST A WEEK OF OWNING THIS VEHICLE I AM ALREADY OUT OVER $500. OK, THAT'S FINE. IT IS A USED VEHICLE. BUT NOW, THE ENGINE PROBLEM THAT STARTED WHEN I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP HAS BECOME SO BAD THAT IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN THE VEHICLE IS GOING TO STALL OR IF IT WILL GO WHEN YOU PUSH THE GAS. THIS IS NOT GOOD WHEN TRAVELING AND TURNING OR DROPPING YOUR KIDS OFF AT SCHOOL IN THE DROP OFF LINE AND OTHER CHILDREN WALKING IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. SO BACK TO THE GM DEALERSHIP. THEY HAD TO BREAK DOWN THE MOTOR TO FIND THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. IT IS A BAD CAM SHAFT WHICH HAS RUINED SEVERAL INTERNAL PARTS AS WELL. THE COST OF REPAIR IS $3500. LOOKING BACK, WHILE TEST DRIVING THE CAR I ASKED THE SALESMAN WHAT A NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE MOTOR. HE SAID IT WAS A TYPICAL HYBRID NOISE. NOW I KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE. ALSO LOOKING AT THE CARFAX REVEALS A LOT AND THE DEALERSHIP WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. TWO THINGS BOTHER ME ABOUT LANCE CUNNINGHAM FORD...FIRST, I DISCLOSED EVERY PROBLEM TO THE DEALERSHIP ON THE CAR I TRADED AND THEY REDUCED THE VALUE OF MY CAR TO REPAIR THE PROBLEMS. SO, TECHNICALLY, I PAID FOR THOSE REPAIRS. I EXPECTED THE SAME COURTSEY AND HONESTLY IN RETURN BUT THEY LIED AND HID THE PROBLEMS OF THIS TAHOE. SECOND, I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND CHATTED WITH A REPRESENTIVE LAST WEEK ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS, SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO TRANSFER MY COMPLAINT TO HER MANAGER. GUESS WHAT...NOT A WORD FROM THE DEALERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW WHY I EXPECTED ANYTHING BUT SILENCE. TO ME, SILENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES. IF THEY ARE SILENT, THEY ARE GUILTY. I had an a hassle free experience with both Lance Cunningham Ford and their sales reps, John McCarthy and Frank, I had very specific needs and wants in a used Ford Mustang and John and Frank were unwilling to let me settle for anything less than the perfect Mustang for me.They were very flexible with their time, were very involved in the process and willing to help out. Steve McHenry is running a good service department. Every member of his staff out there is very friendly and helpful. They don't just write up an order and you never see them again or get to talk about what is being done. This was for a 2005 F250 Diesel Truck. Dusty and Tanner in the diesel shop are both very good and will talk to you about the work and the problem. In our opinion, Lance, you have the best service dept. around. One thing I hate in life is haggling over a purchase price. I like my truck a lot but later realized that I had financed 399 for anti-theft secret markings on windows that are supposedly for anti theft deterrent. I have no idea what this is for and it was not explained to me during the purchase, it was just kind of "slid" in there. I also have some annoying bumpy braking. I was told by service that this was due to warped rotors on the brakes and the rotors need to be turned or replaced etc. Not exactly the way I wanted to start out with a new (used) 2013 truck.

Shame on you Lance Cunningham Ford!I Have bought 2 Trucks from you a 2008 and 2014 and I was having a shimmy problem with the 2014 F-150 and you all did nothing to fix it Linior City Ford Fixed my Truck for you. I have had the Truck to your service department 5 time in 3 mounts for the shimmy to be told it just the road well it was not just the road there was an issue with the tires that your service dept. told me they checked each time it was in there and I took them for a ride and the same thing it's just the road. To think your service dept. never even touched the tires. I was told all four tires were out of balance and the front two tires were egg shape. Just think if I was driving with my 11 year old in the truck and the tires that your service dept. told me were fine give out and we had a crash. SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Wanted/Intended on purchasing a 35000 Jeep, In contact with associates for three days, Sent VIN and information on trade. The next time I heard from them was three days later saying Jeep was Sold. Poor business practices , not to mention was on the Lot Looking at the vehicle on Tuesday night, Stuck faces to outside glass of showroom, seen associates inside, walked around lot for about 30 minutes, thought dealership was closed at 6pm We was there at 630pm, Found out the next day that the dealership did not close til 9pm. If you want to keep to a schedule dont come here! Camebin at 845 for a simple oil change.the service afvisor told me in and out in 45 mins.2.5 hrs later I asked about my vehivle and was told 15 more mins. With no explaination what took so long. In fact he was veryrude.now at three our wait time they will see when I will be done. Never again!!!

Service was excellent, and sales staff was very knowledgeable about the product and actually went out to the new car before I left and set up my phone connection/blue tooth. The only negative I would have to say was the guy who came in to complete the credit paperwork. I didn't care for the extra pressure of being made to feel like I was in a high pressure timeshare sales presentation He actually used the line, "people with your credit score usually don't buy extra's, but this is how I feed my kids." He was trying to sell us on an extra protective coating for the car and some other things.

The Buying Process was good, Lance Cunningham wanted to get ride of the truck since it was a 2014 and the new 2015 was needing the space. Well that being said.My New 2014 F150 did not have back-us sensors or a number key lock pad on the door well the dealership was willing to put it on for me. The only thing that has worked right is the key pad the Back-up Sensors are a cheep after market that I have been back to have worked on two times now and the last time they worked on them they left a scratch on my bumper. And that not all I have spent roughly over 40 hours weighting on repairs from having the key pad put on to the sensors and going back TWO times for a shimmy in the steering have being told it just the new Ford Suspension Systems and the road I was felling. Well I have had others drive the truck and they can fell the shacking. I am going to take in to another Dealership where that told me it will take them a full day to check the Suspension where Lance only checked the balance and air presser in the tires about one hour each time I had the truck there for this problem.

I had very specific needs and wants in a truck and John was unwilling to let me settle for anything less than the perfect truck for me.He was very flexible with his time and even the General Manager, Mike, was very invovled in the process and willing to help out.This is just a very well ran dealership that understands that the best way to sell is to develop trust among their customers and they do that well. The credit manager we worked with was also pleasant to work with. He is definitely a salesman trying to feed a family, but he's not overly pushy. As long as you know what you want and what they have to offer, you can work with him to get what is best for you.I will, without hestitation, always make Lance Cunningham my first stop when looking for a new vehicle and recommend anyone in the surrounding area to check them out.

This is a new 2014 F-150 Truck the best on the road right! Wrong! this truck Sucks. I have had it to the dealer two times now to fix the shacking in the steering and both time I was told there is no problem. at 55 and 70mph you can fell the steering wheal shack like it out of balance or a tire is out or round. the last time I was told it's the new Ford suspension. My 2008 Sport Trac drove better then this 2014 and it had 100.000 miles on it.

I purchased a used 2012 F-450 with less than 15K miles on it from this dealer. Big regret.Read the reviews before you buy here and then go somewhere else. Ford needs to take a closer look at this dealer. My opinion Lance Cunningham needs his dealer license pulled. I would surly hate to know I had someone selling my products like this cat. It looks like they used a screwdriver to remove the original dealers sticker on the tailgate of the truck. It made me sick when I peeled off Lance Cunningham's double or triple thick dealer sticker and saw the deep scratch down to the bare metal and the 3 inch dent they made getting it off. Now this is on the corner of my tailgate. They had it all covered up. Now I have to look at this everyday and it really ticks me off that a dealer wont take the time to do things right. A simple hair dryer to heat up the stickers and peel it off is all it takes. A dealer should know this Right? This is just one of several issues I've had with this truck. Do your self a favor and shop somewhere else. Before you buy a used car or truck here take it somewhere and have it inspected first. It seems to me that this dealer don't know how to do that part of the job but they are #1 when it comes to lying and covering up things. Preston is a nice guy but he needs to do a better job describing the condition of a vehicle before someone drives from out of state. I was told the truck was a local trade in and after I got the title I found out it was from PA. and was first used new as a Follow Me truck on a road paving crew. Just think of the asphalt & tar splattered all underneath the truck and caked in the bumpers and inside the dually wheels. Like I said before, several issues with this dealer and the truck. The FORD COMPANY needs to look at this dealership and re-consider if they need it or not.....

The service there was great, we had our 2015 Thor Motor Coach that has a Ford Trition engine/chassis worked on. The service manager personally took charge of the coach, driving it around to the service bays because as he put it he knew the ins and outs of the overhangs etc that his customers would not be aware of and might drive into. He kept us fully apprised of the steps taken to get it back in service. The check engine light had come on with a little over 1,000 miles which should not have occurred. The problem had to do with the catalytic converter which after the module part had been replaced, had to be reprogrammed. We got the coach back within a few days and are highly satisfied with the service received

First of all, notice how all the Five Star ratings are put up front on the reviews! Read on all the reviews and get the real story! I spent about two hours with Preston Williams to purchase a Ford Explorer with a trade in of my 2012 Lexus RX450h which had 37,000 miles on it. Preston was very nice and cordial but that is where the nice ended. They advertised $25 over invoice, but that is a hoax just to get you into the store. My final bottom line was my trade in and and additional $7450.00 cash. They offered only $29,100 for my vehicle, which was an embarrassment. I told Preston when I entered his office that I was going to purchase a vehicle today, and hoped I could do it there. I left feeling I had totally wasted my time and moved on to the Airport Motor Mile. I did end up purchasing a similar vehicle for an MSRP of $38,645 with all the options I wanted on the car at Lance Cunningham. It included a sunroof, leather heated dual climate seats, navigation, safety package, roof rack, and all the trimmings. Now here is the best part of the story. What Lance Cunningham wanted was $7450.00 cash, plus my Lexus right? I bought almost the identical vehicle for a trade in value of $34,000 plus a difference of only $398.00 cash out of my pocket!! Yes, only $398.00! Lance Cunningham told me they offered me NADA and Black Book value for my car, and the dealership I purchased from did the same! Do the math........a difference of $4,900.00! When they told me they used NADA and Black Book to use for my trade in, I said, "Okay, let's use NADA and Black Book to find out what the true value is of the car you are selling me", but of course they said it couldn't be done. Do yourself a favor and skip Lance Cunningham. It's nothing but frustration and unwilling fairness on both the purchase price as well as the trade in. Even with rebates and incentives, their bottom line didn't come close.

Use extreme caution when buying a used car from this dealer.The inspecting guys working here are just hanging out waiting on the Friday's paycheck, same as the clean up crew, and the finance guy Travis is, we'll I can't type in what I feel about him. He don't answer his phone, answer messages and don't reply back to emails. Before you sign the papers, Take the car or truck somewhere and have it inspected first.If you don't you'll be sorry like I am. I drove 3.5 hrs to pick up the truck I purchased. What a day! Mr. Newport took us for a test drive and then we sat down to talk purchase price. I had been to Edmunds and KBB and knew what was considered a fair price. They didn't ask me to make the first offer, they made the offer. And it was below what I was going to ask for! How great is it to walk into a dealership, be treated respectfully, and then get blown away but not having to haggle. The only word that works is awesome. Total time to test drive and agree on price was 40 minutes. That is what I call customer service! I would recommend Lance Cunningham Ford and especially Mr. Williams and Mr. Newport for the fine customer service and the warmth and caring they showed to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

After an initial email to John, I received a response regarding a car I was interested in. I emailed him back giving him complete details of the car I was trading. After 2 days and no reply, I called the dealership to get things moving & spoke with Ben. I gave him all of the information I could about my trade in, he was very nice over the phone. However, I had to follow up with him to see where things stood. I called the dealership, left a msg asking for a return call to my cell. I was currently at work. A few hours later, according to the time stamp on my home voice mail, I was informed I needed to put more money down. I called back on the next business day (because I didn't get home until 8pm), was put on hold for over 7 mins and hung up. Later that evening, I called John on his cell, he was going to call me back 1st thing in the morning. I still have yet to have received a call back. Then, when I look on their website, the car I was interested in is no longer available. I live over 200 miles from the dealership so I wasn't able to just jump in the car & ride over. They both knew that. So while the price was awesome, the salesmen were friendly, the customer service needs improvement.

Update on my purchase from this dealership. I have recently traded this vehicle and lost a lot of money due to the very temporary cover ups that was done. Paint had started to come off hood,roof and doors of vehicle. Leather interior that was clean when purchased had started to change colors and paint flaking off...yes flaking off...they where airbrushed. I have made purchase of two ford products since this with no problems so...take it for what it's worth. I can not prove that all this was done there but they did not deny either. Buyer beware...check used vehicles thoroughly in Tn due to NO requirements on auction lots.

Revised 11/13/13 - Received a call from Chuck Tucker at LC Ford. Mr. Tucker was courteous and was willing to work with us on the price of the vehicle. He agreed to apply the rebates and found an additional $750 in rebates to get us to a price we were satisfied with. Our thanks to Mr. Tucker and LC Ford for putting us in a 2014 Fusion. We are looking forward to picking up the vehicle when it is delivered.11/12/13 - Agreed to a price for a new Ford with this dealer and had them order the vehicle. The vehicle was close to delivery and called to ask for final price after tax and tags. Came to find out that the dealer had added $2000 to the price of the vehicle and then dropped the price by $2000 to get to the agreed to price. In short...the dealership was pocketing $2000 in rebates from Ford. This would have had us paying just over MSRP for the vehicle. Doug Oliver was not willing to negotiate at all after telling us repeatedly on the phone that he would work with us. I would not recommend this dealership.

Bought a used 2011 Chevy pickup 8/12/13 from Lance Cunningham Ford. At closing only given one key. Salesman Matt Snell said he would call previous owner to get second key.. That was my mistake to trust. He could never get key and I had to go to Chevrolet and spend $32.95 of MY money to have a key made. WARNING to future customers: DO NOT TRUST ANY SALESMAN OR LANCE CUNNIGHAM FORD. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY A MANAGER. Worst customer service. I purchased a van here not knowing the valet key was super glued into the auxiliary key. When I spoke with the general manager JASON OWENS (who I had been trying to get in touch with since Wednesday-- he never returned my calls) he said QUOTE: "If you wanted a vehicle where everything worked, you should have bought a new car." & "We don't check things like a sunglass holder." (as if that compares to a faulty $250 key, but I'm woman and I guess this was his way of talking down to me) And this little gem-- "You can call a DODGE DEALERSHIP and if it only costs $2-$3 to have a key made, I will give you that." When I said, had I known I wouldn't have bought the van without a manual key to get in my van-- the GM said, "I will look up your paperwork and as long as it's written out that you wouldn't buy the van without a second key, then I will pay for it." Unbelievable!!! Never mind that the you sold it to me without disclosing the key was faulty. I hung up on him after he said, "You signed on the van in as is condition." Which is true. I did. My bad for not checking to make sure the key you sold me wasn't super glued. How stupid am I for not checking such a common problem ???.... guess I was more concerned with that sunglass holder!!!! How sad that the GM handles customers in such a demeaning and condescending manner.

When we test drove our 2009 Ford Focus it had a slight vibration in it. We really liked the car and was assured it was really nothing to be concerned about. The car had everything we wanted on it. Our salesman, Lee Hersha, worked very hard to get us a good deal. We felt we did get a great deal. After we had the car for a few days, the vibration became more than we could tolerate. We called our salesman and told him about it. He told us to bring it in on Monday for service to look at it. It turned out that the support for the motor was broken. The service department was super nice and fixed our car with no charge to us and now it runs perfect. They did not have to do this because we did not take out the extended warranty. We really appreciate the professionalism and them standing behind their cars. We also appreciate Lee Hersha. We recommend that you ask for him if you visit the dealership because he will treat you right.

Bought a used 2009 Mustang Convertible, looked good from the outside. Asked My salesperson if it had bever been wrecked, he said no. I got it home and it had a terrible rattle in the rear, took it back three times before the salesperson finally took it back to the repair area and found a loose bolt on one of the rear shocks, he kept telling me that is the way convertibles are, noisy. I disagree because I traded my 2003 convertible with 149,000 miles and it didn't rattle.That's when I brought up the trunk may be part of the trouble because it was really tight, he said it may be out of adjustment becaused the car had had some damage to the rearend, contridicting his eailier statement of it never being wrecked. I also bought the car because it did have sirius radio and that was an option I wanted. Finally activated the system, come to find out that the car needs a new tuner, $399 at their cost but I pay for it. I've had the car approxiamately two months and my tenor with this vehicle doesn't look promising. I expressed my DISAPPOINTMeNT at the dealership but do not feel I was heard. Other dealerships were brought up as the problem in buying a vehicle, not Lance Cunningham. Will I buy or visit this dealership or recommend it, NOT.

This is a follow up to recent post. Mr Cunningham contacted me after previous post. He offered to have seated dyed or airbrushed again but warned that this was temporary. I told mr Cunningham that this was not what I wanted.....I wanted what I thought I was buying...a well maintained used vehicle with very nice interior. I have been told that this practice of dying seats is industry wide. I have called many dealerships inculding the one I just purchased a new 2013 Toyota tundra from....and the ALL say ' Not to this degree". I asked Mr Cunningham to repair the interior permenant to what I thought I was buying form.....I was told to stay off his property. From reading reveiws this is common practice with this dealership. I will not seat foot on his property again and will encourage every person i speak too about avoiding his place of business. I would not buy a used tri-cycle from you.

Mr.John B is a good salesman. The F150 I purchased has not got the room in the rear passenger compartment that I need I found out it's to small. I ended up getting a vehicle I'm really not happy with or comfortable with. If you have anything in the bed and it rain it floats all over no bed drains. There is a few options i thought it had but come to find out it don't. The payment is ok. I'll see another will take it.

I did some research before even going to the dealership, so once I arrived, Ty had everything waiting for me to try out. We test drove the two vehicles I was interested in and Ty showed me all of the gadgets in the cars. He helped me determine the things I liked and didn't like about both vehicles and ultimately helped me make my decision. Purchased used 06 Yukon gmc from lance Cunningham ford. Vehicle did not make it home before had transmission problem. They towed it back and had 3 time in 3weeks to fix problem. Have now found out that the whole front end has been replaced ( car fax did not show this and is a waste of paper). Paint is starting to come oof roof in spots the size of a basketball. Leather seats were painted to look new which was a selling factor because interior was in such good shape. Bottom line would have not payed what I did if had known this. BUYER BEWARE!

We did most of our haggling for our Ford E-350 Van over the internet. Even over the internet the dealership was responsive to our needs. When we arrived at the dealer, Preston Williams greeted us and took us on a good test drive. He didn't try to cover-up some minor cosmetic issues with the van, and he let us make our own decision. Very low pressure. And all my kids liked him--which is very unusual. I wish I didn't have to drive 2 hours to Knoxville for such good service, but it was worth the trip.

By far the most insulting interaction with a dealership I have ever experienced. After many phone calls and a preemptive trade in valuation on their website to ensure neither of our time was wasted, they had the nerve to offer me half of my trade in value with no explanation of why (trade in was fully functioning and without damage). I would not suggest using them and clearly they are just hoping to find suckers to buy Roush Mustangs and do not care about anything else. Best of luck guys, but Kia of Cleveland was your exact opposite, and they got my business.

This is my update to a previously good review on service to my 2006 Ford F150. Previously I had two coils and plugs replaced at their cost and free labor. At that time, Ray Ritter stressed that it was very important to use Motorcraft products for service and it would take them a while to deliver them from "warehouse", which turned out to be NAPA parts. Within a week, the service engine light came on and the truck started missing horribly. I returned once again to Lance Cunningham Ford service center where I waited approximately 5 hours. Ray Ritter and a Ford mechanic stated the code was No. 7 cylinder, and he said he replaced the coil "free of charge". That lasted about two days and the service engine light came on again. The truck started missing again. I then took the truck to my mechanic that I have used for 10 years and trust. He replaced all eight coils and all eight plugs. No. 7 coil that was supposed to be replaced free of charge had not been touched. The code actually turned out to be No. 8 cylinder--one of the coils I paid to have replaced the first time I went to the service center. The coil was a new Motorcraft (a.k.a. NAPA?????) and the coil boot looked like it was from a junkyard and the end was soaked in oil causing it to arc. After my mechanic replaced all new coils and plugs, the truck runs like a new one. You would think that an authorized service center could have figured out the problem and successfully taken care of it the first time. When I confronted Ray Ritter about No. 7 being replaced he again lied and said that he was going to have "to get his money back" and fire his lying mechanic. Do you really believe that he actually paid money out of his own pocket -- I don't!!! Beware of any "favors". You pay dearly for them in the long run. After researching the cost of the NAPA coils and Autolite spark plugs that were supposed to be given to me at "cost", the coils were actually $26 more than I could have bought them for at NAPA, and they marked up the spark plugs $7 more than I could have purchased them for. So much for "at their cost". Bottom line -- believe nothing you hear at this dealer and about half of what you see. And remember, Lance Cunningham Ford does you no "favors". I won't shadow the door of Lance Cunningham Ford again -- even for warranty work. The proved to me that I CANNOT TRUST THEM.

We purchased a new Mustang from Lance Cunningham on March 1, 2013. We first saw the car advertised on the Internet and made an appointment to go look at it with Derek Stinefield. He contacted us before our trip (about two hours away), during the trip and even followed up with us the day after our purchase. One would consider a good salesman as standard, but he went above and beyond the standard. Derek is a true professional. The staff was willing to negotiate in such a manner that was a "win, win" situation for customer and dealership. Our overall experience was extremely positive. The selection of new vehicles at Lance Cunningham outnumbered the choice of new vehicles in Kingsport, TN more than 5:1. We will purchase another vehicle once our son goes off to college in a few years and we will deal with Derek Stinefield and Lance Cunningham in the future.

I went to LCF to just browse at some used cars. A salesman approached me casually, with a smile on his face and he introduced himself, asked my name, then asked if there was anything he could do to help me. Derek made me feel so comfortable and at ease, he made me feel like he actually cared for my needs. I told Derek what I was interested in, and what I could afford, but then told him that I absolutely cannot afford to purchase today. Derek was awesome, he said thats not a problem. We walked around talking about the cars, pricing, features, and what all I needed and wanted in a car. We finally came to the conclusion that a used Ford Escape, or a new Ford Focus would be a PERFECT fit for me. Derek reassured me that we could get me financed and out the door with the perfect car at a great price. Not once did he try to pressure me into crunching numbers or anything like that. Talking to him was like talking to an old friend. I will say this, never has a salesman ever made me feel this comfortable, but Derek pulled it off, and I want people to know that he is just the most awesome guy and friendly as can be. Thumbs up man.

i didn't buy the car because it had a major mechanical failure at 350 miles. lee harva got very aggressive about the fact that i asked to have it fixed and brought it back. he knew my husband and i owned a repossession business. the following friday night at 11:11pm, he sent a text message from his cell phone to my husband's cell phone stating "they knew all of our accounts and that this would cost us everything. please come in and take care of business. as of now all credit unions know all." i took that as a threat toward my business, which the vehicle purchase would have been strictly personal anyway. i also took it as a personal threat. this man tried to force us to buy this vehicle on this basis. we are reaching out to tell everyone about this and also to reach out legally. i believe that a salesman should be screened for past records of violence before being allowed to handle the customers personal information. this man knows where i live. i would go talk to lance cunningham myself in person however i am in fear for my safety.

Arrived home with used 2010 Escape, found the floor mats and jack missing, had to purchase out pocket. Four days later the vehicle lost all power, the dealer recommended I have towed to them, which I did, at a cost of $60 (this cost even with the purchased extended warranty). 5 days and $500 for the repair, of which I had to pay the $100 deductible. There was no offer of a loaner or rental by the dealership. The oil was due to be changed (I know, you think they would change prior to selling), but they did not change as I requested while the vehicle was there for repair ( I had purchase the "free"oil change as part of the warranty). I ended up buying the oil and filter and replacing myself, another out of pocket expense.

A friend purchased a new vehicle from this dealership a few weeks ago, and we went there while searching for a used vehicle for myself. Preston was my salesperson and went out of his way to help me, we walked the lot and even went so far as to check new trade ins not yet available for sale to meet my needs. After checking everything, unfortunately we found nothing, so my used vehicle search continued. After driving round trip approximately 150 miles, still came up with nothing, Back to the drawing board! About 2 hours after we returned home from our fruitless search I received a voice mail from Preston (yes, at 8 pm on a thursday night I received a voicemail from a dealership concerning a used car sale, not a buy here pay here lot, but a true dealership)....they had just traded for a vehicle that met my needs and wanted to know if I had found anything yet. I had a very select few cars in mind that I would purchase, and the vehicle was not on my list,but I went back to see what it was, mainly because I was intrigued by a dealership that went the extra mile. Long story short I bought my vehicle from Lance Cunningham, and so far I have no complaints whatsoever! Preston was very helpful in all aspects of the purchase. He was very helpful over the phone and was able to answer all questions. First of all, I have heard Preston puts his customer's needs top priority. Yesterday,I experienced this first hand. From the time I pulled into the lot Preston showed me all that he had regarding what I was looking for. He stayed with me we test drove the vechicle and then he set the sale in motion. My experience with all the staff was great but Preston demonistrated a dedication to meet my satification and that I received the vehicle in top condition. Pros: They worked with me to find the vehicle I wanted rather than try to sell me what they had on the lot. The initial salesman (Preston) seemed very knowledgable about the vehicle I was interested in. I didn't feel pressured, or followed around while I was browsing through the various vehicles on the lot, a definite plus. They seemed to have a good selection available to look through.Cons: The extended warranty should be offered as such rather than disguising it during the financing. Perhaps the sales person could ask up front if you want the extended warranty before even taking the deal into financing. Spent way too much time waiting in the salespersons office while he went back and forth to the sales manager. I don't care for the line "What will it take to put you in this car today". Through no fault of the salesman, or the dealership, the truck did not arrive when promised, it came in the next morning. That was an inconvenience, but not a deal breaker.

We had an extremely pleasant buying experience. Our salesman Rustan, along with Sales Manger John, were friendly and knowledgeable, and at no time did we feel pressured to make a buying decision. Nathan in Finance, made the usually dreaded paperwork process a breeze - explaining all the finance options, and extended warrantees available. After spending the day with the lance cunningham crew yeasterday i was exusted.im discusted with the car i got its been wrecked and is missing parts inside and out.im still optimistic that lance will make things right on my purchase.the people here are great folks and understood why we were not pleased with this car.not everything gets turned in to insurance companies as i found with my bondo buggy!carfax is not able to catch everything the vehicle has been threw.mine came back no issues.but its obvious to anyone with eyes that its been wrecked and passed off on us as never wrecked.now i dont blame lance I think maybe the auction it came from in fla should be reliable for us to get a deal on a different mustang.I will never trust carfax again it was a waste of more money when i ran my own report.it reflected 13 issues so I ran it mostly tittle issues and oil changes and service records.This Has been stressful and unforseen.But I would Still go to lance cunningham for future new car purchases the staff is great and tried to help us.this car is going to need a mirical worker to be made right not to mention about 6.000 in bodywork and parts. Ems.

I had a friendly, prompt and professional experience at LCF. My salesperson was Jack White and he was very professional and pleasant to work with. I bought the car that I had been searching for for months and was beyond thrilled that I finally found it. I would recommend this dealer and salesperson to anyone. If I have to pick one thing that could've made the experience a little better, it would have been a sticker price on the windshield. Most cars there had the price listed, but mine wasn't anywhere to be found. I knew the asking price because I looked it up online, but I'm curious as to whether or not the price wasn't listed because there were multiple prices possible for this car. Perhaps I should've asked that myself. ;) I did not feel taken advantage of, especially since I'm a young woman that went alone to buy a car. But I also didnt feel like any attempt was made to discount the asking price...at all. I believe I will be back, but, I think I'll bring a man with me next time. Overall I'm satisfied and I love my new car.

Will not be coming back, felt lied to constantly, manipulated and would not work with me, would not come down a simple $500 more to close the deal. Going to competition or a different Ford dealer next time.edit: Forgot to add, they tried to get me to sign before we even had a deal, they used a little trick where I wouldn't have been signing on the line but still on the paper. BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!! These people are wolves in sheep's clothing, don't get them your time!

Of course it had been driven around on the lot and was running when I got in it. So, when we went out on I75 and up the ramp to I640, Stephen said punch down, which I did, but I was not impressed with its pick up, but more with the lack thereof. The Ford truck was NOT running right then, but I did NOT know any better. So, once we started home with it the next day, it did the same things again, spit & sputter around until it ran awhile, and I had to constantly be driving it, and that scenario has continued until this week when we ended up spending almost $2000.00 more to get it running right, and not road walking.I know I bought the truck with no warranty. But, I feel your shop was negligent in not checking the truck more thoroughly, and having repaired it accordingly before placing it on the lot for sale. Especially having had it in there at least two different time.So, what I would like for you to consider is the following: To reimburse us for 1/2 of the $1990.99 cost $995.50) to get the truck repaired. He looked at the bill, etc. and his comment back to me was: "That Knoxville dealer should take care of that for you". And, he walked away.II guess the biggest thing that bothers me: Is that in my driving career to date, (I am 72 years old), I have never gotten hit with (early/out the door upfront maintenance cost) of nearly $,2000.00 on any of my vehicles. And the new owner never even getting home with the truck running right for one day.In hind site, I now know in my heart the truck was NOT right when I drove it off the lot.Because of us staying overnight two nights at a Holiday Inn Express just a few miles back up I75 (that Chuck Tucker) told me about it. So, just a few miles from your dealership, on the very next morning, the truck would not start up and leave the parking lot without spit, spurring around. I didn't know any better, never having owned a diesel truck, etc. So I let it set and warm up for 10 minutes or so. And then it would run ok. The same thing happened the next morning before we headed home with it. So, bottom line is: IT DID have a problem that eluded BOTH your shop people and me.Had I had any experience with diesel trucks I would have known that the truck was not right, and that it had a cold start up problem, etc. Had I known how it should have acted I would have just brought it right back down I75 to your dealership, and left it for a couple nights, let it get cold, and let your people run a "power balance test" on it, etc. (Like Scott advised me to do later in his emails that we traded). That is exactly what had to be done to find that kind of problem. And, he was right, 4 injectors later the truck, starts, takes off, shifts, etc. like it should have when I drove it off the lot. Preston and Marlon were very patient and supportive of my dilemma, having just wrecked and totalled my previous Focus. They explained all the options available on the Fiesta, as this was my initial choice of new car. Since I drive extensivly for work both quietly suggested I test drive a Focus as well. I think this is the fourth vehicle we have bought at this dealership. John Hill and James Rutherford were wonderful to work with. My husband and I went to check the cars on Friday night, and they were closing. John Hill was so nice to us. Even though he had worked all day, he still walked the lot and asked what we were looking for, price range, etc. After giving him this information, he showed us several cars, and I have no doubt, he would have stayed with us all night if we had wanted to stay. We came back on Saturday morning, he hooked us up with James Rutherford. He was very knowledgable and took his time to make sure he answered any questions we had about the cars. After we made our choice, both he and James did everything they could to make sure we were happy. These two men are top notch, and I would definately recommend this dealership and both of these men to my friends and family. Lance Cunningham was there on Saturday, and we meet him before we left and told him our experience had been wonderful. He has a great team working for him, and I am sure we will be back in the future.

I recently got my first new car at Lance Cunningham Ford. I was already familiar with the dealership through my parents both being multiple repeat customers. When I needed a new car, my parents strongly urged me to go here to find a vehicle. Preson came out as soon as we pulled in. I told him the car I was interested in, my price range, and the features I wanted my car to have. He immediately took me to the car I ended up getting. I did test drive another car as well, but I was immediately sold on my car as soon I tried it out. I felt very comfortable here and felt as if Preston was working hard for me to help me get my car. Preston also stayed after closing to finalize all the paperwork and details so I could drive my new car home that day. He relly went above and beyond to make sure his customer left happy. I have also been contacted by him after my visit there about whether I would like to come back to finish syncing my phone with my car since we didn't get a chance to do it that night and also to let me know his contact information if I ever need anything. Its very comforting to know that someone demonstrates how much they care about their customers and providing excellent service to them. I absolutely love my car and can't thank Preston and everyone else at Lance Cunningham for their assistance.

I remember the first time that My Husband and I met Preston Williams I believe it was in 2007 and it was a very cold day but that didn't stop Preston he showed us around and even gave me his coat to wear because it was so cold. I felt sorry for him because we test drove 2 or 3 Mustangs and he sat in the back which I can tell you from experience has very little room for a tall person but he didn't care he got right in. Well we came back in June 2011 and asked for Preston and we ended up buying a Ford Escape from him and the reason I bought this particular vehicle was because of Preston. I was looking for a used Jeep Cherokee and Lance didn't have any on the lot we left and went to a couple of other places and I told my Husband lets go back and see Preston because I want to buy a vehicle from someone I trust and that is just what we did and I am very happy I made that decision I love my vehicle. I have been to several car lots over the years and talked with several salesman but I can honestly say the only person I remember is Preston Williams because he is the best. I would recommend anyone I know that needs a vehicle to go to Lance Cunningham and see only Preston Williams. The next time I need a vehicle I will go back and see Preston again.

My wife and I recently were looking for a car. We "purchased" one from another dealership but between the bank & the dealer they couldn't get the financing together. After they wouldn't work with us we looked elsewhere. My father in law recently bought from LCF and said to go there. THE BEST idea ever! Not only were Preston & Mark(mgr) the best but everyone there treated us like family. THIS IS THE DEALRSHIP TO DEAL WITH! There is really no negotiating with price, they do what is right. Other dealers are trying to look out for themselves, they are looking out for you too. If you can"t afford it, they will tell you. If you can, they will work with you. The finance person Nathan was awesome as well. He looked for every penny we could save to get our car. He was almost done & at the snack machines when I went to the restroom. He asked if I worked for my company that gets discount pricing (which I totally forgot about). He reran the numbers quickly to save us as much as we could. This? From a dealership? From what we've been though? I was floored at his. I thought dealerships were out for money, this one is out for customer service. I have been in the customer service field for 17 years and even I was surprised.I can say that there is no other dealership that I would deal with. They are honest, fair, and good people. I've owned my own Ford for 8 years now and when I am ready to trade & upgrade I am going back. Don't waste your time with others. They will take care of you. I have purchased 3 vechiles from LC Ford in the past 8 years, 1 truck and 2 SUV (Escape) the most recent we traded our 08 Escape for a 2011. We ended up with SUV that was 3 years newer, went from 48K miles to 54 miles, a new warrenty to protect our investment and our payment went up a whopping $19 more a month.. can't beat that deal... Jack, our salesman was patient, informative and helpful in our questions and concerns. We truly got a great deal, and great service.My other praise is for Brian and the Quick service lane team. With the purchase of our 2008 Escape, I decided not to have anyone service it except the Ford dealer. I have dealt only with Brian and would not have it any other way. He is a fine representive of LC Ford. He is stright forward, clear and consice about what is needed and how to save money in the servicing of our vechiles. I was also pleased that the quick lane was able to service my Chevy Colorado pickup. I did not buy this truck at LC Ford, but at their neighbor, Reeder Cheverlet. I do not choose to do regular business with Reeder, but did need a trustworthy place to have my truck serviced. I still have that at LC Ford.I appreciate the quality of salesmanship and service that I have come to expect with LC Ford.

Carolyn and I are in our 70's and have purchased many new and used vehicles in our 52 years. We visited Lance Cunningham with the intent to purchase a used 2009 Ford F-150 truck. However, we found the 2010 Ford F-150 very suitable to our needs. We traded our beloved 2002 Black Corvette Convertible which was a very emotional moment. We found Ben, Jack and other associates to be very knowledgable, professional and friendly. We left with a smile that we got a fair deal from some great people. The discussions related to Customer Service gave us the feeling that our service needs would be well served. The show room makes a customer feel comfortable and everyone was very friendly, even those who were not part of the "deal". The followup calls by Ben, Chuck and Lance are unheard of in the auto sales business. I plan on attending the seminar on May 7 regarding the Sony Sync system related to the note from Andy Anderson. I didn't end up buying anything from LCFord, but I might have if the salesman who initially helped me wouldn't have been so pushy. I can't remember his name now, I think it was Mark, but he was in his early 20s and seemed very inexperienced with how to relate to customers properly. He was very fast-talking, in-my-face and way too over-hyped about making a sale. I felt very uncomfortable and at one point even said, "I hate shopping for cars." No sales person should ever cause those words to come out of your mouth. I was ready to leave, but, before I could go, I was paired with another salesman, John Hill, who was much more relaxed and calm and made me feel a bit more comfortable as a shopper. Even though I didn't end up buying a car from John, I appreciated his efforts, and I think he is probably a much better salesman. He did his best, but I just wasn't happy with the dealership's atmosphere in general and pricing was a bit high. I felt like the showroom was a bit gloomy and not well kept, and the vehicle selection was slim pickings even though the lot seemed huge. I later went to Lenoir City and found a dealership with the same vehicles at better prices and all around much friendlier staff, no pushy people. I ended up purchasing a car that wasn't a Ford, but I felt it would be worth my time to recommend seeking a sale at another dealership other than LCFord until they straighten out their unbalanced staff and clean up their appearance a bit and offer better deals. I just don't feel like I would be valued as a customer even after my purchase from that place, and a good relationship with a dealer is important to me in the long run.

We found this Dealership on line to have the best deal. We traveled from Cullman Alabama to Tenn. and it was well worth the drive. I have to say to ask for the Salesman "William Roy". He is so nice and honest, christian man. You can tell that as soon as you speak with him. Even though all the salesmen was very nice I will always ask for William Roy. Marlond Mason my Salesperson was great to work with, I would recomend him to anyone, it's just the "other" things you have to go through to buy a car from this dealership. $599 dealer fee(everybody(dealers) does it...this is 100% pure profit), $399 Microdot theft protection "you have to buy"(I still don't think it's legal to make you do this..plusd it is a joke as two of the dots have already come off). It was not an experience I would wish on anyone. When you spend money whether it be 20K or 60K on a car or truck you should feel good about it and walk away knowing that both parties had a good experience. Had they not had the exact used vehicle I was looking for..I would have walked.

After realizing the status of my F150, Joey met me at the service counter and took me out and showed me what was available. Preston saw where I was searching on the Internet and contacted me both by Phone and E-mail. We set up an appointment for that Monday evening. Preston made every effort to make me happy with the purchase. Did I mention this is the 2nd F150 Preston has sold me and the 4th Ford that I have purchased from Lance Cunningham and crew. Jason did everything he could do to get the final cost down to where I was satisfied with the purchase. As an added benefit to make sure I was satisfied Jason allowed me to take the truck home with the agreement that I could bring it back if I was not completely satisfied.The only downside to the whole process was the amount of time it took to close the deal and get me on the road (4 hours).

I just purchased a 2011 Expedition Limted 4X4 EL and could not be more pleased with this vehicle in terms of styling, comfort and drivability. Equallly as important in this purchase was my interaction in making the deal with my salesman Cole Fisher. I recently purchased a 2010 Black Mustang convertible with pink racing stripes. Brian and Stephen, sales, were great to work with. They were both very personable and made the experience easy. I knew what I wanted and they worked until they found it. The body shop painted the pink stripes on the hood and trunk and did an excellent job. The car is beautiful. Every employee I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The experience of buying a car is not always enjoyable, but this one was. Misleading information about the basis for pricing was provided. No pricing info posted on vehicles allowing the sales personnel to pull a price out of the air. B.S. remarks from other sales personnel, such as "I've got three customers who want that truck", when the truck had just been taken in the evening before and wasn't even finished with the clean up process. Attempted pencil whipping by the finance man by including an amount on the sales contract that had already been negotiated away. Over charging (later refunded) by including the wheel tax although I live in a non-wheel tax county and, according to my county clerk's office, it should not have been charged. Sales manager became rude ("I've been in the business for 31 years and never had to waste this much paper on a deal".) when I objected to an improper charge.The salesman, Joey Ocasio, was very friendly and courteous and I'd recommend him. However, watch the guys with the pencils and keep notes on statements, comments and "promises" made. Keep in mind that the dealer, like all dealers, wants to extract as much money from you as possible. They aren't in business to do favors. Nothing wrong with that, but remember that your job is to keep as much of your money as possible. With a little luck and patience and perseverance you can make an acceptable deal.I've had much worse buying experiences, and I'd return but be very careful. Again, Joey Ocasio is a nice guy and very personable and friendly, but the salesman is only the point of the spear. It is the sales manager and finance mananger who make the decisions.

The salesperson was very dishonest. He lied about the price of the vehicle, told me one price and then told me a higher price later. He tried to mislead me about the value of the vehicle, when we looked it up on Kelly Blue Book he conviently forgot to put in the correct mileage twice. He also tried to mislead me about the transmission on the truck, which was malfunctioning before we got it off the lot, it would not move when you put it into drive. We had to put it into low 2 to get it to move and he acted like this was normal. I just had a shady feeling about the whole thing from the minute I started talking to the salesperson. I've since heard other people say that Lance Cunningham Ford was a bad dealership and was surprised to see the good rating on this site. I took the time to write this review and put in all my information, so I hope you will take this to heart when dealing with these people.

I went shopping for a brand new mustang after my vehicle was totaled in an accident on the interstate. We are very happy with the vehicle we purchased and feel that it is a great quality car. Our salesman, John Hill, was professional and down to earth. He worked with me to the best of his ability, was not too pushy, and offered me a great deal with almost no haggle. The Milan I purchased was priced BELOW regular retail price (and I still got them to come down some on it!). I got a very fair price for my trade-in. I made an appointment to have brakes replaced on my F150. I went in at 8am. and was told the truck would be ready for pick up at noon. I went back, the truck wasn't ready. I waited for an hour and by then I was late for work. I told the manager that I wanted the truck right now. He couldn't find it! I looked in the service bays and it wasn't there. I finally found it on the back lot and drove away. Looking back, I think the truck was repaired early and my wait was for nothing. I have received no reply to my complaints/comments. Very poor customer service. I will not return to LC Ford for vehicle service.

I found a very rare convertible BMW with a manual transmission via AutoTrader at Lance Cunningham Ford. Chuck Tucker helped me through the entire sale, from getting financing at a better rate than I was able to get anywhere else, to giving me a price that was extremely fair and lower than similar cars on AutoTrader, and getting me the price I needed on my trade-in. I had a little trouble convincing the wife ;o) but Chuck was very patient through the entire process. Chuck even drove the car over 100 miles to meet me halfway to complete the transaction. I went in to the dealership after shopping around trying to find the best deal on a pre owned mustang, Being a mustang enthusiast myself and taking mine to trade in I was greeted with open arms at LC. My wife and I talked on the phone for a few hours(off and on) with Corey and he did all the work for us. We arrived at the dealership and Corey Basically had everything waiting on us (including the keys to the car we had discussed over the phone and Internet). I went on the test drive and Corey took my car out for a spin. We came back and I was hooked on the car, I didn't really even care what the price was and was shell shocked when they presented me with the low price of the car. Corey then went to Nathan Post and told him our situation. And I can't express enough of how much work and effort Nathan put into to get the right bank and the right finance charges for us. The whole time while waiting Corey never stepped off even made myself feel more comfortable by taking me out to his personal truck and just helping me take my mind off of the finance process. Nathan was extremely friendly as well explaining everything to myself and my wife and explaining in great detail of everything would work. At the end of the day (The next day because we arrived so late the banks were starting to close) I received a call to come finalize everything and to bring my trade in. That night I drove him in my new to me mustang. And also let me tell you the guys that clean these cars they take great pride in there work and it really shows, there wasn't a spot of dust on the car. If I could change anything about my experience at LC I would have to say I wouldn't (except get there earlier so I could drive it home that night) And for those out there wanting to get a car but scared of your credit don't be. I am like most people and have made some mistakes in the past and am working on them now. The greatest thing about LC was the willingness to help they don't treat you any different than they do a person with a 800 cbr. At LC the customer is the key to a successful business and they have proven that. Thanks Nathan, Corey, and everyone at LC for making my business transaction the best possible. I will definitely buy from LC again.

I have been looking for a ford f150 for about 3 months. I worked with a couple of local dealers in Kentucky and while they were friendly enough they did not make any effort to find the vehicle i wanted. This dealership had the vehicle and when I contacted them they did everything they could to help. They were not pushy and they were very honest and upfront. I found the entire experience very easy and non stressful. I have often heard first hand how good Lexus dealers are but I would find it hard to see how they could do better than Lance Cunningham. I did not have to stay long as everything had already been taken care of but I think the experience would not have been bad, with the restaurant and the professionalism of the sales crew, right down to the dress code.

John was very courteous, friendly and very patient with us, the whole experience took us about 8 hours to complete the deal, not John's fault. We were not sure which model we were going to purchase. John did not influence us one way or the other and he should be commended for that. Customer service at it's finest... It's just that simple...I wanted to surprise my wife with a new Ford Expedition and get rid of the old boring mini vans that we both had. I started looking for a Mustang Convertible for my wifes graduation present. I had been looking for about 3 months for just the car when Chuck Tucker called and said he had found it. I was recovering from surgery and he meet me at the door with the car right in front. He took care of myself and mother-in-law (the car was a secret and I couldn't drive). He took care of everything.
