Austin immediately told him not to drive the car, but to have it towed to Leiths. The car had been on the lot for a while, so there were a few fine scratches on the side that i didn't notice until the next day. I took the car back and Andy made sure it was fixed. My daughter bought a used car as well and found that one of the windows wasn't operating correctly. Came in to Leith Honda to purchase a 2016 Honda Odyssey. We have been a loyal Honda family for 15 Years. It was time to trade in our 2002 Odyssey. This place was totally awesome in every way that you could think of. First off. Andy was very knowledgeable about the Honda accords and all the options they had on them. He didn't pressure us at all and didn't make us feel uncomfortable like other dealerships will do. Andy was up front about everything and made our car purchase great. And then there was Scott in the finance department. This guy was a complete nut. He had us and our kids rolling laughing the whole time. He made the whole signing the paper deal very easy. He even said that we would take me up on a round of golf which he probably don't want to do. Just kidding man. Went in to check out a 2008 Jeep wrangler and was surprised that I was able to buy it at My Price. Andy was my salesman and Sloan approved the price. After I drove it home I noticed a leak in my drive way. I returned to the dealer for them to check for the leak and Sloan approved for the radiator to be replaced. This dealer ship stands behind there cars and will do just able anything for the customer. I don't like taking my car to a dealer ship for maintains but because they took care of me I told them that I would let them service my jeep in the future. This dealer ship as gained a customer.

For the next 10-min I couldn't stop thinking about that small gesture and I wanted to know who he was, I got up and kinda walked to the front and heard loud music and seen that same young man sitting at his desk, he was answering the phone as I walked by so I assumed he was the dealerships receptionist that's where his happy voice and bubbly personality came form, so I walked back and sat down with mygrandson and not 5 minutes goes by and he runs thru the waiting area again, myself and the other waiting customers looked at eachother and smiled, This time I stoped him and asked his name he said his name was Sloane, I asked him - My lord young man how much coffee you had to drink he said none but I do like to make it just so I can smell it, I laughed and so did the other people there waiting, then he said thank you to everybody for letting us work on their vehicles and today was going to be the best day ever!! My My My the smile and the look on his face will be something I will never forget , he was so full of life and glow he made me feel good to be alive , when he left I started to talk to the other people waiting for their cars we all exchanged names and talked about the goodness of life! I hope this reaches whoever it needs to because you have people that work there that are unlike anything I have ever experienced before, I was here reading my Bible and something came over me to call and ask how could I leave a review and tell somebody about that day! That day I talked to strangers in that lounge and they were not strangers when I left, the people there made it a great day! after looking for Sloane on the website Lord behold he was the manager and not the receptionist, Woopsy! We bought a 2015 Honda Odyssey in July. A few months earlier, I stopped in to test drive the vans and met sales associate Mike Hudson. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful about the vehicle. The best part is he did not put on a full-court press for me to buy the vehicle that day. I told him we intended to wait for a few months. He stayed in touch with me, but I absolutely never felt pressure to buy the vehicle immediately. Whenever I had questions about the vehicle or its specs, Mike responded within minutes. When we were ready to make the purchase, we used USAA Auto Circle and Leith Honda Aberdeen offered us the best sales price for the vehicle, beating other dealers by more than $1,000. We had every intention of selling our 2012 Honda CRV, but Leith offered us an excellent trade-in price that we couldn't turn down. It matched what we'd planned to get selling it privately. The buying process was quick and easy. Mike was able to track down the van with our desired options and we drove it off the lot the next day. We couldn't have been more pleased. Unfortunately, someone ran a stop sign and hit our brand new van two days after we bought it. It spent 6 weeks in the shop. Mike stayed in touch with us through all of this and helped arrange for our accessories to be added when we finally got the van back. He even helped us when we had questions regarding the van's diminished value. Also, Austin in parts was extremely helpful after the body shop we used to repair our vehicle used a faulty wheel bearing. Austin and the service department got it fixed and settled payment with the body shop. Now have 2,500 miles on our Honda Odyssey and imagine loving it until it has 250,000. We will definitely be referring our friends to Mike and the staff at Leith Honda Aberdeen.

Went to three dealerships with a very long list of demands for my wife's graduation gift. The other dealerships did two things wrong...1) they both assumed I would settle for a car that had most, not all, of what my wife wanted, and 2) they both came in with pricing that was higher. After purchasing 13 Hondas from Gardner Barbour, it was time to buy or lease a car for our teenage daughter. We drove down from Fuquay Varina, looked over the lot and picked a 2015 Civic while daughter was in school. The civic was on the showroom floor. Decided it was best to lease (almost like a purchase). Gardner put a SOLD sign on the windshield. Four days later, we three drove down to "look" over the lot. Upon arriving at Leith Honda Aberdeen, Gardner took wife and daughter to look over the lot while I took giant balloons to the showroom and put on the side view mirror. This was arranged beforehand. Plus all the other showroom cars were removed except the civic for the surprise occasion. The whole team of sales people, etc. huddled around the new civic as Gardner brought wife and daughter inside. Everyone started clapping and sang "happy birthday" to her. Her expression said it all. I didn't see a dry eye on any of the team sales people. Thanks to ALL of the team players and management for making her dream come true.

Me and my wife came to Leith Honda in Aberdeen after we had a horrible time at Sanford Honda. The staff at Leith were very nice and treated us like that wanted our business. They didn't tell us anything that they didn't follow through with. Our salesperson George was very nice and knew alot about the vehicle he was selling. I have been to other Leith dealerships and have always been treated great. I will certainly look to Leith the next time we are in the market to get another car.

A year ago I went car shopping picked out a car but before picking it up and signing all paper work I went to this dealership to test drive one like it to make sure of my decision. While looking a gentleman came by and asked if he could help. His name was Art Gatling. I told him my plans and of course he helped. It didn't take long but realized that Art was no ordinary salesman. Most salesman we try to run from cause lets face it they can be a bit annoying! Art was much different! He never once tried to sell me a car, he never tried to sell me a bunch of crap, he never made me feel as if I was just a customer. Art has the best manners, the best personality, the best presence and appearance that any salesman could ever have. By the time I finished test driving I felt like I had known Art all of my life. He was more interested in being a "friend" than a salesman. He made me feel as if I mattered and that the car that I was looking at would be right for me. He never tried to convince me of crazy, different things that the other dealership salesman had done. In fact I love Art's personality and professionalism so much that I went back just recently to him to have him help my dad get a car. I refused to deal with another car salesman and will never deal with another as long as Art is working. He is wonderful and I would recommend him to everyone! I have NEVER had such a wonderful experience buying a new car as I did at Leith Honda. Some of the other dealerships I visited did not compare to Leith. They acted as if they were doing me a favor selling me a car. Leith especially Mike Hudson went beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Mike took up so much time with me and making sure I understood the functions and features of the car. I can't say enough about these people. I only wish I had visited them earlier. My wife and I had been struggling with the process of buying a used minivan for a number of weeks before we came across Leith Honda of Aberdeen. With so many people like us trying to find value and quality amongst a limited selection of options, we were in a seller's market and getting more and more frustrated each time we failed to act fast enough or hesitated as to whether we were really getting a good deal. When we came across their listing for a 2004 Nissan Quest it got our attention and after talking with Rawlin on the phone, we decided it was worth driving 2 hours from Durham to come take a closer look. Even though he did have a lot going on, Rawlin couldn't have been more accommodating and made us feel welcome and comfortable at every turn. Along with the rest of the people we dealt with at the dealership, he genuinely wanted us to feel good about our purchase and was obviously committed to our long-term satisfaction rather than fixated on getting us into a car quickly so he could move on to the next commission. I wouldn't recommend that anyone drive two hours and bring their 9 month-old with them to just look at one car, but if you are crazy/desperate enough to try, I highly recommend that you give Rawlin a call and start with Leith Honda of Aberdeen.

Came in expecting to buy a used 2007 Honda Accord. When i got here i was informed that it had been sold,but was asked by Rawlin, "what if I can get you into a 2015 Pilot for the same payments that you would have for the Accord?" Being an older couple with little experience in highly electronic products, it was a difficult decision to make the change to such a technically based car as the Honda Accord. We were very hesitant to take on the challenge but George Ochletree, our salesman at Leigh Honda Aberdeen, couldn't have worked harder to equip us with the necessary information and skills to be comfortable in this car and was totally willing to answer any questions. He was a very enthusiastic salesman and very proud of his product. I'm the son of JMR (see below) and also drove over an hour to purchase from this dealership. The reason I made the drive was because they were able to offer a clear out-the-door price that was below anything else I could find in the area for the configuration I wanted. George helped me obtain the color I wanted from another location and maintained persistent contact with me through the entire process to make sure everything was taken care of. George also made sure I was comfortable in the new car, and was very accommodating with all questions I had about it. The rest of the staff who assisted me were all courteous and polite, as well. There was no unwelcome pressure applied by anybody at the dealership to spend beyond the price that had been agreed upon beforehand. My mom and I came in to purchase a back-up car and were met in the parking lot by the great....Michael Hudson! The 2012 Nissan Juke was what caught our eye and Mike was instantly in trouble...lol. My mom can be a tough sale and I warned him of this, but he stayed anyway...lol. The test drive showed him that my mom is the fastest and smoothest U-turner in America and his sounds of "whoa" proved it. While waiting for paperwork processing, we educated Mike on the wonderful world of hotdogs and the many variations these come in. He is now so excited about trying them that we have planned to have a hotdog date at Sonic because this is the best for first time hotdog eaters..lol. The process was very quick and the entire staff was really friendly. I would definitely refer others to come have the Leith experience! I must say, this was the best and most memorable car buying experience ever...not just for me but for my mom and Mike as well! I came across Leith Honda of Aberdeen while doing an Internet search of a specific used Honda model. I sent an inquiry via their web site and was contacted by salesman George Ochletree. He confirmed that the car was still available and that posted "Internet price" was good, then he set up an appointment for a visit the same day. Their price was so good compared to other Internet postings that we were willing to drive over an hour to the dealership. George was a friendly guy who met us before we could even walk in the door. And he didn't mind that I wanted to haggle over the already good price. In the end, he was able to to get the "boss" to knock a little more off the posted price. George was very knowledgeable about all the whiz-bang features of the car and took a lot of time educating us, especially during the test drive. The closing process was pleasant enough (with the "obligatory" sales pitches for extras that I didn't want). The car was very clean with no missing accessories. I would recommend that others looking for a car consider Leith Honda of Aberdeen.

I recently went to Leith Honda in Aberdeen to look for a potential car. My car was high on miles (for me) and I was looking to upgrade. I came on a Saturday after work, and was immeadiately greeted by Rawlin, a Sales Advisor for Leith Honda. He was curteous and knew exactly what he was talking about. He was able to assist me and he helped me to understand that there were things I needed in a car that I wasn't even aware of. Even when there were setbacks in the process Rawlin & Sloane were always in contact with me. They were extremely helpful, and even though the initial car I was looking at, I didn't get, the second choice was just as good, if not better than what I had originally looked at. Like I said, the staff is wonderful and the service is second to none.

When I first moved to the area I found Leith Honda when my 2003 Civic needed service. I used their service department on several occassions. The staff was always friendly and the service was amazing. I had planned on driving that Civic for many years to come, but one fateful rainy night, life happened. My immediate thought was that I wanted another Honda and Leith Honda was the place to go. I found a car I loved online and emailed the dealer. Rawlin called me that same evening and set up an appointment for me to come in the next day and test drive some vehicles. When I arrived the next day I was greeted at the door by the friendly sales staff. Rawlin introduced himself and shook my hand. He informed me that the car I had been interested in was sold the night before unfortunately, but promised to get me a great deal on another vehicle. He asked me what was it about the other vehicle I had loved so much and then showed me several comparable vehicles. He took his time to explain the safety ratings and various features of each vehicle. After test driving a couple of vehicles I found the car I wanted. Rawlin was true to his word and got me a great deal. The paperwork process was the smoothest I have ever experienced at any dealer. All of the staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions, as well as sincerely shake my hand. At no time during the process did I ever feel pressured. This by far was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dealership. I am impressed by the level of customer service and the friendliness of the staff at Leith Honda. Rawlin was awesome and so was the sales manager Sloan. I know that this Honda will last a long time, but when I am ready for a new Honda I will definetely purchase it from Leith Honda. I will recommend this dealership to everyone who I know is searching for their next vehicle.

We started our search for a new car at Leith Honda in Aberdeen. We called ahead to speak with a sales representative, Rawlin. He was friendly and answered all our questions. We decided to come see him the next day to look at a few cars. The first car he showed us was a Ford Taurus. We test drove the car and we loved it right away. My husband was impressed with Rawlin's knowledge of the car and ability to answer everything we threw at him with honesty. We didn't want to buy the first car we tried out, so we continued on to several other dealers and salesmen. Nothing could beat the service and price we saw at Leith. My husband decided we wanted the Taurus after a very long day of disappointment everywhere else we shopped. He begin to email Rawlin. They corresponded several times before reaching a deal we all could agree on. We came in the next morning to finish up the paperwork and buy our car. It has been a great experience thanks to Rawlin. We never felt pressured. In fact, he was confident that we would come back because he believed in his product and deal all along. He was right. We will be back again in a few months to buy another car and I would recommend Rawlin and Leith Honda to anyone I know who is looking for a car. Thanks for a great car buying experience.

I was not expecting to have to buy a car at the begining of 2015 but life happens. I was not thrilled to have to go through the searching and car buying process; to be honest, I was dreading it because I really loved the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid that I previously owned. I found a car I really liked online and I reached out to the dealership, Leith Honda Aberdeen, to find out more. My point of contact, Rawlin, was courteous and knowledgable and set up an appointment with me to come test drive the car. On the morning of the test drive, Rawlin called me to let me know that there an earlier appointment coming in for the very same car I had my heart set on. I certainly appreciated the head's up and immediately made my way from Raleigh to Aberdeen. When I arrived, Rawlin was standing outside ready to meet me. I really liked that- he opened up with a witty line and it made me laugh which was exactly what I needed at that time. I had been a nervous wreck wondering if someone was going to buy my car before I arrived. But anyways, we took the car on a test drive and I absolutely fell in love! Rawlin was patient and answered all of my questions about the safety, reliability, and price point of the car. Not once did I feel pressured and he made the whole process easy and fun. I would totally recommend this dealership and Rawlin as he was absolutely excellent. I love my 2012 Honda Insight :-)

I have been buying and selling cars for over thirty years from dealerships all over the country (I'm retired military.) This has far and away been my best experience. Here's why: 1. My agent, Mike Hudson was great. He was genuine, humorous and engaged. I sensed I could trust him immediately, and he never proved me wrong. High caliber individual. I hate to make a blanket statement about other dealers, but, it seems a lot of agents I've dealt with over the years in other locations are so pompous or shady acting, and they tell so many lies I get tired after five minutes of listening to them. Over the years my wife has become hesitant to even go with me to buy a car because she despises the whole buying ordeal and the salesmen. But Mike Hudson changed all that! I'd 100% recommend him as your starting and finishing point for any new or used car purchase. I will even take my Marine son there (if he decides he wants a Honda) and leave him without worrying about providing fatherly oversight, and I would be comfortable knowing that Mike Hudson will be watching out for him. 2. The business manager, Mr. Sloan was honest and genuine as well. He really worked hard at helping us find that deal which worked financially for our family. As a result our family ended up purchasing a Honda CR-V from this dealership. I will also add that in all my car buying years I've never had an agent follow up with me on my vehicle purchase. Since my purchase, I've had three follow up phone calls to make sure all is well, I appreciate this very much! Go to this dealership and see Mike Hudson. You'll be glad you did.

I am a loyal Honda customer--having purchased seven over the years--and I am a loyal customer of Art Gatling! Several years ago, based on a friend's recommendation, I contacted Art about a Honda purchase. This is the third Honda I have purchased at the Aberdeen location--each time I have worked with Art and can't imagine going through the car buying process with anyone else. I always feel comfortable working with him--he is very personable and puts a customer at ease so it seems as if you are working with a friend, which is a welcome feeling when shopping for a car. I was pleasantly surprised with the last step of the purchase process--going through the finance department. Eric made this process pleasant and stress-free. He put a friendly face on what used to be an unpleasant process that I approached with dread. I was happy with my overall experience at Leith Honda Aberdeen. I feel good about my purchase and I love my new Honda CR-V. I was satisfied with the purchase price and know from past experience the service department will be first-rate. I think the best "take away" from this review is the reminder there are several Honda dealerships within driving distance of our area--Honda is a great product--but who you work with to make your Honda purchase and the people who take care of you after the purchase make all the difference!

I was very pleased with the excellent services of not only my salesman, Rich Tracy, but also the whole team of workers at Leith Honda Aberdeen. Rich helped me to understand the standard equipment and the different trim levels of the base, Sports, and higher models of the Honda Ridgeline. I decided that i liked the Sports type best of all. Rich had 2 of these for me to see, and I picked the white one to purchase. I ordered extra parts for my truck. The parts department ordered my parts in a short timely manner with the correct parts. The service department put on my parts in a short timely manner, and they did an excellent job of putting the parts on. Rich also continued to help me when I came back to get my parts put on. He not only took me but he also picked me back up at a close-by place to eat breakfast. I am very satisfied with the excellent service that I received from Leith Honda Aberdeen. Art was the best!!!! This is the second car he has sold my family. I really hope he hangs around a couple of years so I can buy another one from him. I came to that dealership just because of Art. He had done such a wonderful job last summer with my daughter in law. She was buying her first car, wanted a Honda, she was really scared and he eased all of her fears and made the process fun for her. Sloan was also great!!!! We had contacted the Honda dealer here when it was under a different management team for internet pricing several times over the past few years and never received a response until weeks later when we had purchased elsewhere. I did not wish to go through this again so I went with my husband under protest. Leith has now taken over ownership and is trying to build the business back. We were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism as we walked through the door. We meet Art, who would become our sales representative and Sloan, the manager. We were interested in a Civic and knew exactly what we wanted. We were never pressured and the entire experience was actually fun! I know some prospective customers do not like to "haggle" but I find it purposeful and enjoy the challenge. Our expectations were met. Everyone was delightful and pleasant so we sealed the deal! We had to return the next day because what I had chosen (interior and exterior colors) had to be brought in. I cannot say enough about the fabulous group of men we worked with. They were professional, knowledgeable regarding the product, and efficient. Art was a dream to work with, Sloan was very kind , Greg, the "paperwork gentlemen", was efficient in getting us to sign all the paperwork and forms, and Keon was so patient in explaining how this new vehicle works with all it's "whistles and bells". ( I do need another lesson though!!) I think Leith has really put a great team together that will serve this community well. We are so very glad we decided to give our local Honda dealer another chance. In fact, we went back the day after I drove my new car home and purchased an Accord!!

Was in the market for a base model Accord Hybrid. On the lot, Leith only had the fully loaded Touring model. I got frustrated at the initial promise to make me a great deal, while presenting me full sticker price, and I quickly left the dealership. The sales manager ran after me asking how he could keep my business. Being a bit too frustrated, I left. I phoned in the next day and spoke with the manager again. He not only searched and found all available base accords, he made such an attractive offer on the Touring model that I bought this one. I love the car. The sales manager did a dynamite job holding onto my business. Andy, the salesman, was polite and courteous. I will shop Leigh again.

As a "college kid", it was really important for me to find a dealer that could be honest. I had been looking at several dealerships and no one seemed as honest and fair in their dealings. Every member of Leith Honda's team (salesman, manager, and financer) were friendly, honest, and supportive to help me find a slightly used vehicle that I loved but most importantly that fit my budget. If you are looking for a vehicle, I'd say go there!

Customer Review: My experience with Leith Honda in Aberdeen NC was the best experience I have had with any dealer. The first two times I stopped I asked the salesman, Rich Tracy, jut to let me drive the CRV. The first time I was alone. The second time I brought my wife so she could drive the car. We did not have to go inside on either stop and there was NO PRESSURE! Just a friendly salesman. He really made me feel comfortable. That is important to me. Im retired USAF and a veteran of three wars. I do not respond well to pushy salesmen. I had looked online for pricing through my credit unions car buying service. I had responses from 5 dealers. Leith was not on that list as a preferred dealer for the credit union. I can only assume it is because they dont send a kickback to the CU. Leith Honda looks a bit dated 60s design on the outside and doesnt have all the new fancy buildings, banners etc some newer dealers have. However the inside is very nice, the service dept. is clean and looks very efficient and the customer waiting area is quite comfortable. There were several factors that made me decide to buy from Leith. The most important was the salesman. I told Rich Tracy I did not want to be called and pestered by salesmen and that I did not put my correct telephone number on the search for that reason. I preferred to deal online through email. I did give him my card with the good numbers on the promise he would not pressure me. He did as I asked. I received quotes from 5 dealers, sent the quotes to Rich and asked him to beat the price. We emailed each other about 6 times and each time he was very positive. I actually felt he was wanting us as a customer more than getting credit for the sale. Bear in mind we were corresponding over a 4 day period and I had never been inside the building. I did briefly meet the sales manager outside. Again, no pressure. Just a friendly smile and good handshake. Rich met the price I was looking for. He didnt have the color on the lot but sent for one from another dealer that day. Now that is what I call making the sale. The next morning my wife and I arrived to pick up the new car and for the first time went inside. I had been preapproved online for financing and that speed things up a lot. The atmosphere in Leith was unlike anything I have experienced in 65 years of buying cars. All the salesmen, the sales manager and customers waiting for service were very relaxed and I didnt feel the tension you feel at most dealerships. It was more a short sleeve shirt place than a suit and heavy cologne place. Can you get that? We filled out the paperwork pretty fast and we were set to go. Rich came out and showed me how to program everything and how everything worked. I didnt have my cell with me so he couldnt do the Bluetooth connection. We will do that next week. This has to be a great dealership for me to travel from Fla to North Carolina to purchase a car. My friend recommended this dealership and said that I needed to deal with Art Gatling in the sales department. Everything was handled via the phone and I purchased a New 2014 Honda Accord EX-L without even a test drive or seeing it. The approval process was extremely easy and handled thru their website. I delt mainly with Art Gatling and the Finance Manger, Neil Yow. Both were extremely nice and very professional. I was trading in a vehicle and all figures were agreed on prior to my arrival at the dealership. If you are looking for a great deal and a great vehicle and a professional sales consultant, please give Art Gatling a call.

Just leased a 2014 Honda CRV. Art Gatling was fantastic to work with and really understood what we wanted and did whatever he could to make it happen. It was very clear to me how dedicated he was to his customers- staying late into the evening to help us and to return calls to other customers. I wasn't as pleased with the financial side of the experience. Although we had made clear our capabilities up front, we waited hours for two offers that did not work for us. We almost walked away to shop around other places (literally standing in the parking lot) before the Manager intervened to get us a deal we were happy with. Overall, it was a good experience. We got a great deal on a great vehicle. I just didn't enjoy the game that is purchasing a car. That said, I still would recommend this dealership and I would definitely recommend Art Gatling. Hes the best!

Today I purchased a 2014 Honda civic coupe. This is my 4th car purchased from this location. The previous three were from the old owner. My salesman for all of them was Art Gatling. He as always does an excellent job. Now that Leith has taken over the whole process is a huge upgrade. Much more friendly and everyone involved seems to really care and really tries to get you the best deal possible. Nice upgrade!

We've been buying cars for many years, and this was one of the easiest processes that we've encountered. Eddie was an outstanding salesman who understood our needs and assisted us throughout the entire process. Eddie was also very knowledgeable about the cars and did a thorough job explaining all the features. We know that Leith Honda is new at this location and we hope that they can address updating their facilities in the near future. But, this would not stop us from buying another car from them. We are very satisfied customers.

Gardner Barbour, at Leith Honda (Aberdeen) made buying a car as pleasant an experience as it can be. It was sort of "old fashioned" ..... like doing business "with a handshake". When I first arrived at the dealership I wasn't "descended upon" ..... they allowed me to walk up to the salesperson of my choice. Being 75, I went for the oldest one I could find, Gardner, and we found it easy to talk about buying a car and all other topics. I not only bought a car ..... I made a friend.

Keon, the salesman, was fantastic. He was attentive and was great throughout the entire process. I would recommend the dealership to a friend or family member looking for a new Honda or a pre-owned vehicle. There were a few minor issues that required me to go back to the dealer twice for paperwork issues. I also had to go back as soon as I left the lot because the vehicle had no fuel in it. I also did not have a temp tag on the vehicle when I left. I did not realize that until I got home. They asked me to come back but eventually brought it out when I said I had spent enough time at the dealer that day.

I purchased a used car last week that I had been watching on Leith's lot for several months. I finally decided it was time to check out the car and see what kind of deal I could get. I was extremely pleased with the salesman who assisted me. The car that I bought was in desperate need of a new set of tires, which are very costly for the type that are required for this vehicle. Unfortunately, the finance person would not work new tires into the cost for purchase of the car. This is the only disappointment that I had with my purchase of my new vehicle.

We had our heart set on a Honda CRV. We did all the research, saved for a down payment, and even talked to random people that owned crvs. We had gone to SEVERAL local dealerships and listened to their song and dance. At the end of the show was always an outrageous price, or an empty promise of savings. We were fed up with sales people by this point. Honda of Aberdean was the ONLY dealership out of 7 that would stand by the price we were quoted to the end. We made a 2 hour trip just to work with this dealership. Sloan, the manager, and Rich, our sales guy, never waived from the rock bottom price we were quoted. They were not sneaky with needless add-ons either. Buying the car was simple and stress free! I HIGHLY recommend this dealership! They were worth the drive!

Since I wasn't sure in which city to buy the vehicle, Rich made it easy for me to not forget Leith Honda, without being one bit aggressive. He was very respectful but, as a good salesman, kept me informed of my options. He promptly returned calls and made one particular follow-up call that was instrumental in my buying my car from him. He is assertive without being aggressive and very knowledgeable about his products. I would ask for him again if I needed another car and will be glad to recommend my friends to him. We shopped via the Internet and found the best price. But the dealer with the best deal could not find the color we wanted anywhere in the area. Then we went to Leith and they were not only able to find the model, color and accessories we wanted, they also to matched the best price with no negotiating or hassle. When the van (Odyssey) turned out to have some accessories we did not want, they offered them to us at 1/3 of the regular price. An added bonus: the doc fees were $100 less than other dealers. All in all, the price was better than any other dealer would offer, and the service by Rich Tracy (Salesman) and Sloan Bostic (Sales Manager) was outstanding.

This guy was the manager and he was horrible. On several different incidents he quoted prices then suddenly had amnesia and could not remember saying that. Do not trust this dealership, I could never recommend this dealership to anyone. Beware they will make it sound good over the phone and when it is time to drive down there they will have you sitting around then tell you the deal is not possible.

I just wanted to share the great experience my wife and I had purchasing our new 2014 Honda Pilot. A sales advisor contacted me after I inquired about a Pilot I saw on their website. He informed me that the vehicle I was interested in had just sold, but offered to work with us to find a vehicle that would suit our needs. After several emails and phone calls (in an amazingly short period of time) He informed me that he had found a Pilot that met our specifications and could add the options we requested for a price that was unmatched locally. Throughout the entire process he did not make us feel pressured and was extremely accommodating. He stayed after hours to allow my wife time to drive to the dealership and sign the documents. He did this without any hint of frustration. I told our sales advisor it would be 2 weeks before I could get to the dealership to pick up the vehicle. He was thoughtful enough to deliver the vehicle to me. He had the vehicle waxed and filled with gas. We are so appreciative of his thoughtfulness and could not be happier with our experience with Leith Honda Aberdeen. Our previous experiences purchasing new vehicles have not been great, but our experience with Leith Honda and our sales advisor in particular has shown us that the experience can be outstanding.

I went in for warranty work and got pushed a bunch of maintenance services. Agreed to several and was told they had a coupon for rear brake special for $79. I ended up paying $200-no rotor or other brake work needed or performed. I paid $400 for something that should have been around $200-250 given area pricing. The itemized bill was unreadable! Even the brake pads were listed as $100. Do not do business with them.

My first Honda was a 1980 2 Dr Accord LX Hatchback, Hampstead Green, with the emblem on the tailgate saying "5 speed". Gardner Barbour, then McBrayer Honda, made the sell. It had velour seats! After 33 years and 9 Hondas sold by Gardner Barbour, my NEW 2014 CRV-EX-L 4WD with Navi will be arriving at the new ownership of Leigh Honda in Aberdeen, NC.
