while shopping for used vehicle of which I did bring one home from the budget lot. The service was friendly but did not like being treated like I don't know anything about vehicles telling me everything is normal. At the signing I was rushed through everything at the end of the day just because finance person needed to pick up kids, only for them to forget information and have to email items to finish financing after the closing of the loan.

I came to the dealership because I was looking for a little larger vehicle and really hoping for a Ford Edge but was unable to get into one at the current price point. My husband and I went to Les Stumpf Ford in Appleton to see what type of vehicles they had. Daryl Steinhoff came out to see if there was anything he could help us with. I have not had the best experience with salesman but Daryl was not pushy and was very knowledgable about the Ford cars/trucks. That made a huge impression on me. He showed us several cars/suv's. He reassured me, if we made a purchase from Ford the type of service we would receive in the future. Once we made the decision to make a purchase, the next day I felt extremely nervous. I was worried I made the wrong decision. As we sat in Michael Moore's office, I expressed my concerns from past experiences. Michael stopped what he was working on and began to reassure me about Ford and their services. This is a huge step for someone to take. I left the dealership feeling very confident I would be taken care of for any future needs no matter if I am in any of the 50 states and Canada. I highly recommend Les Stumpf Ford and Daryl Steinhoff. In my opinion, he is one of the best salesman I have dealt with. He is the reason I am driving the 2016 Ford Escape. He did a great job!!!

I can't believe how fast the service was when I sent in an email to Chris dare in appleton about trading in my car. Within 24hr the papers were ready I was approved and Chris even came in on his day off to take care of me right away. I have never had to have service for repairs done but have always been pleased with oil changes. I'd recommend less stumf ford of Appleton to everyone excellent experience not once but twice.

I came into the "Quick" change service area to get an oil change, and what i can say is that the service was anything but quick. It seemed to take forever to get the truck in and out. The service tech did a good job once they had the truck, but just getting to that point took a long time.A couple other recommendations: First: The employees at the desk greeting the customers and taking their information NEED to be friendly. Your employees at the desk are not friendly at all. some would wonder why they are still doing what they do. This is where customers get their first opinion of a company. Second: The desk employees should go through the check list that the techs performed, with the vehicle owner. This is a common thing done at ALL other dealers. I actually wondered if a check list was done, as i drove away. Lastly: This was my first oil change, with my new vehicle and i've never brought a vehcle home from an oil change, especially one with less than 10K miles, and had oil drip marks on the garage floor. That is unacceptable. This takes 2 seconds to wipe down the underside of the car, if draining the oil became a mess. I was not happy with the oil marks on the garage floor, under a vehicle that is less than 1 year old!

I am also very happy with the fact that it was possible to purchase a certified preowned Ford Flex from Les Stumpf Ford. Cars that are certified preowned are not easy to find and Nick Kacala was very helpful providing photos of the vehicle and answer any questions before I decided to visit this dealer. I believe this is the first time I left a car dealership not feeling that I could have received a better deal. Buyer's remorse has not set in at all. Just the opposite! The used car center (or former Hardee's) could use some updating, but I understand that may be in the works. I am extremely happy with the Ford Focus we purchased from Mario Aldi. He was very respectful and helpful in showing us the vehicle and made sure all of our needs were met. I purchased a car at a different dealership in Appleton before, and my experience was not the same as at Les Stumpf Ford -- there's something truly special about this dealership. I am looking forward to many more years of driving my Focus, and when the time comes to trade it in, this dealership will be at the top of my list!

I recently just bought a 2016 Explorer and couldn't be happier with the assistance and guidance I received while trying to find the best vehicle for my family and our budget. The latest a 2016 Expedition Platinum just recently, all dealing with our sales person Mr. Ken Harder. We have never had any negative issues, just the opposite. Every purchase transaction has been a pleasurable experience dealing with Ken. Buying a new or used vehicle should be an exciting time and it always has been at Stumpf Ford. There's a little kid that pops out in each of us buying a new vehicle no matter how old we get and that's what happens to me each time we purchase one. This new 2016 Expedition is unbelievably awesome. The technology Ford is putting into their vehicles has been beyond my expectations. There is so much to play with and customize to suit any individuals tastes its almost endless. From power running boards, power steering columns and all the high tech and that's just the beginning. The 2003 Chevy Silverado had finally succumbed to rust so it was time for a replacement. The new aluminum body Ford F150 sounded like a good alternative. I went on a Friday to "just look". I was blown away by the truck and thought "great, now for the 'fun' part". I always hate the haggling/back and forth, always feel like I am not getting the best deal. However, this time was totally different. They gave me a great amount for my trade and came back with a great package of promotions, price negotiations, and financing that made a great deal. There was a little back and forth, but no pressure and quick decisions. I spent more time at the DMV trying to get paperwork straight on my old truck than was required to make the deal. In one of our conversations the sales person (very knowledgeable) said it would take a couple of hours when I come to pick up the truck. I thought really, two hours of paperwork?!?! To my surprise, the paperwork part of it was about 15 minutes. The other 1.5 hours was an in-depth walk through of the vehicle! So much tech on these new Fords, I love it! The guy in the finance shop was great to work with and did not try to upsell every little bell and whistle. I drove away convinced this was the best/easiest vehicle purchase I had ever made. Highly recommend them.

I did not want to give one more dollar to Bergstrom. I had decided on a Ford Taurus, but the salesman showed me a model that better suited my needs. I like the service but am still disappointed in the used car sale dept. and the terrible sales person my daughter and I had to deal with. I know my husband called and had to leave a message on your managers machine so he did so twice and there was never any follow up or a phone call or anything. Bottom line because you have a used car sales rep who would tell costumers maybe they should come back some day when they want to buy a car instead of see what their trade is worth. Well I still don't believe there is another brand new vehicle to be purchased from you in our near future and my husband Chuck is due for another super crew F150 next year. Service was very good sales representatives extremely poor. I remember Chuck telling the sales managers machine he was tempted to come down and browse for a used white 2012 Explorer and see if the buthead would talk to him like he did to my daughter and I. Do not like the new wifi setup where you only have 1 hour and it resets. Especially for services that will take greater than 1 hour. It is a nice benefit that one in continue to work while service is being performed. It would otherwise make it prohibitive for me to get service there. After the hour expired, simply reconnecting was not working. Luckily for me, my service finished just as my boss was wondering why I had lost connectivity.

Always very nice to work with. The only complaint that I have is for one of your drivers. He s very rude and acts if he is really going out of his way to pick you up. I asked only to be taken to Hobby Lobby which can't be more than three miles. I could have asked to be taken which would have been much further. The lady that took me was as pleasant as could be but the gentleman that picked me up is very rude. That is the second time I have ridden with him and I will never get in the same car with him again. He is a very poor representative for your company.

This was our family's third Ford purchase in 3 years. My husband loves Ford's and I needed a tad bit of convincing to trade in my Toyota RAV4 for a Ford Escape. However, the process we went through to test drive the car, negotiate final trade in and purchase along with the team effort to allow us to pick up the vehicle and get a walk through was exceptional. I know our sales guy Tom was disappointed he couldn't do the walk through himself, however, the fact that others on the team stepped up to get us through the process and on our way was incredible. Everyone we worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable.The way they allowed us to take as much time as we needed to test drive the car and the final purchase price and trade in they gave us was very reasonable as well. Mario Aldi was great to work with and even offered to pick me up so my husband could meet me for the vehicle delivery to save an extra trip. We recently needed to downsize from a full-sized Honda Pilot SUV and we planned to go to a mid-sized SUV / Crossover vehicle. We did a lot of research online prior to going to any dealers. We narrowed our search to five brands, four of which were Asian brands and one USA brand, that being Ford. We test drove four of the five brands with the 2015 Ford Escape being the third one we tried. We worked with Ashley Ayers through this whole process. We had configured a car with the options we wanted via the Ford website and brought this to Ashley. She was very thorough in explaining what each option included and how they worked. Before we took the first test dive in the Escape Ashley explained the controls, the dash displays, the blind spot mirrors, etc. so that when we took to the road we could be safe on the road knowing how to use the car's controls and features. When we returned to the very well appointed dealership Ashley worked with her supervisor and gave us a very reasonable quote, based on using Ford Credit to finance the car. After this we looked one more time at a Honda CR-V with similar equipment and got a quote for it. After driving it we felt that it did not quite match up to the Ford Escape since it came only with a 185 HP engine and the Escape we chose has the 240 HP 2.0L EcoBoost engine. This sealed our decision to buy the Ford Escape with Titanium trim. When we went back to Ashley to confirm our purchase we were able to negotiate a little better price for our Honda Pilot trade-in. She went all out do sure our business but without any of the "high pressure" tactics that we experienced at some of the other dealers we went to. On the day we went to pick up the car Michael Moore was very thorough and courteous as we went through the process of filling out all of the official paperwork. Once that was done Ashely spent two hours with us going over all the car's features, and setting up our cell phones to work with the car's Synch feature. When we left the dealership we felt that we were fully prepared to enjoy our new car. Further, Ashley has invited us to come back in a week or so she can help us with any of the new technological features that are new to us. We plan on taking her up on this offer. Les Stumpf Ford is very lucky to have a salesperson like Ashley working for them,

I'm not an easy person to please and was not particularly pleasant to deal with for this transaction. I wanted a specific truck that had all the features I wanted and the process of finding the right truck took more than a week, I'm frankly surprised Mike (sales representative) didn't tell me to take a long step off a bridge (if it were me, I think I would have). Everyone was professional from the sales group to the service people that I harassed with (likely stupid questions) question after question regarding the diesel engine and a hundred other questions. It was obvious from the start that our Automotive Consultant, John Larson was very capable of fielding all of our questions and throughout the process we never felt pushed or rushed into making a buying decision. We did end up purchasing a 2010 Ford Explorer Limited and so far, we are very pleased with the vehicle. I was impressed with the amount of time it took to be able to drive my car. Only about an hour to an hour and a half to fill out all the paperwork. Which is amazing because we got a different car a few years ago from a different dealership and I swear it took us about 3-4 hours to finally be done. It's a very friendly atmosphere compared to other experiences and they are all very knowledgeable. Me and my fiance preordered the 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid and it is a beautiful car. It only took about 2 months to receive a call that it was in. Which also, is not a long time to wait. My overall experience was very good. The exception would be that the vehicle had a sticker that indicated 0% financing. Which is true, except for the fact that it was only up to 15K. Since this is a 35+K vehicle, the down payment would have to be 20K. Most people don't have 20K to put down, so that seemed mis-leading.

I have to say, Mike was more than helpful. I spent probably 6 months contemplating the purchase of a new F150, coming from 10 years in a BMW X5's, it was tough to decide. Working with Ken to find the right truck for me was a pleasurable experience. His knowledge of Ford trucks and his years' of experience made for some great give-and-take discussions to narrow down my needs and find the right truck for me. I went in to this knowing I needed a truck to pull my camper but was unsure of the right fit for me for power and comfort. Ken got me into a F250 Lariat that I have had for one week now and absolutely love it. Ken searched far and wide to find the color and package I wanted and found my truck almost 300 miles away and was able to quickly facilitate getting that truck to Stumpf in Appleton and then get me in to it. I worked with Brent on the financing and he found a great rate to help keep my payment down and save on interest over the life of the loan. Brent explained the various maintenance and warranty options available but was very low pressure and wasn't "pushy" so it felt like a discussion, not a sale. I drove away in a beautiful truck at a fantastic price. I didn't rate the facilities as they are in the middle of remodeling, but despite the remodeling, I never ran in to any issues or delays in customer service or getting answers or responses. I will absolutely go there again for any repair work that may come up and when the desire for a new vehicle comes up I will be returning to Les Stumpf Ford. I will absolutely recommend to anyone I know that they give Ken and the folds at Les Stumpf the opportunity to impress them as well.

Leasing a 2014 f150. Traded my truck in. Steve Haag sold me the lease. Steve was well professional and knew what I wanted. Asked for my after market rubber and wheels back didn't work with me. Not happy about that. I did get put into an awesome truck. Everything with the lease went smooth as to date. Had my remote start and tonneau cover installed with no issues. I did have to ask for my dirty truck to get a bath at pick up of the installs. I am a bite leery about this dealership because of some past service issues. I'll give them some more tries before completely dumping them.

I had a problem with my 2011 F250s transmission. The problem was covered under TSB 11-5-19. I dropped the vehicle off and explained the problem. I received a call back that my transmission needed a complete rebuild to the tune of several thousand dollars. He could not give me a specific estimate other than it would start at two thousand and would certainly go up from there, he just did not know how much. I said I just wanted the TSB performed. I was told it would be about $500. It cost me $782.70. During our two conversations, I was repeatedly lied to and at best, deliberately mislead. There was no value added by their service that I could not have obtained at a local shop I deal with. I just thought that having the TSB on this problem and Ford knowing this problem existed on their transmissions; they might be willing to work with me. Instead, I was taken for all they thought they could get out of me. I was even told in the initial phone call that they were already into hundreds of dollar of diagnostic work, despite the fact that the TSB described the problem, the diagnostic trouble codes, and the prior to build date. They were in fact holding my vehicle hostage in order to get me to let them perform the work. There are much better places to get work done by competent mechanics that are fair and honest.

My wife and I came in toward the end of the day on Saturday. We asked for the trade quote, it was great so I told my wife we are going to do it. Our Sales guy stayed late just to work with us and helped us decide what we were going to do. We decided on a car but because the dealership was closing we had to come back in Monday to finish the deal. We went in on a Saturday to look for a vehicle to replace an old 2000 Ford Focus. John Wetzel helped us. He listened to us as to the type of car we were looking for, either another Focus or maybe a Fussion. He said that he knew of two cars and brought them out for us to drive. Julie liked how the Focus seats felt. We ended up buying the Ford Focus 2011 which is 11 years newer then our old Focus. The buying process seemed a little long but John said that he thought that we could get a better deal then the marked down price. He came back with an offer that was good. On Monday we picked up the car after going through all the required paper work. It has been a little over a week and we still love the car. Its great driving, starts in the very cold weather. We both are very happy with the car, happy that John did a great job picking it out. We even got a heated seat to be installed. In the past two years our family, including a daughter and son-in-law, and a son and daughter-in-law, has purchased 4 new vehicles (Edge, Explorer, Taurus, and an F150) and 1 used F150. The recent purchase of the new F150 was very unexpected but given the excellent service during the past two years and the great price we decided to buy now. Given the rebates now being offered we are in the process of looking at a new Escape, if the price is right all six family members will be driving new Fords!

I ordered a new 2013 Ford Escape in early April and have yet to receive it. Shauna was our sale person and she was a clueless mess. I knew more about the vehicle than she did. I knew exactly what I wanted when I entered the dealership (after extensive research and a previous visit) and the buying process still took over three hours. Shauna had to keep leaving us to find out the answer to the majority of our questions. I am still waiting for the vehicle to be delivered to the dealer and never received any updates until I complained online after 4 weeks.

The overall experience of purchasing the car was top-knotch, and I really appreciated the way Steve suggested many different options for buying a car that led us to the choice that buying new was the best way to go. In addition, his follow-up after the sale was a welcome surprise, and it's nice to have that additional involvment after the sale to close the loop on an exceptional buying experience.However, since the purchase of the car, I haven't enjoyed the same degree of convenience. Things became more difficult with an incident of getting a flat tire less than 2 weeks into buying the car, and the delays in getting the tire repaired in a timely manner. There have been added complications of the 2 recalls that are in place for the car I purchased, and that has dragged on for not having my new car for the last 2 weeks with the forecast of not having the car for another additional week yet. It is not convenient to be making a car payment for a car I cannot drive and have a loaner car with less features as the substitute for a better part of a month.

Tyler was very helpful,understanding and curtious. I knew a head of time what auto i was interested in and Tyler showed me the very car that i hoped to buy. He did not try to confuse the process by trying to sell me a car with more options and a higher priced tag. The whole process went very smoothly and did not take very long. When i picked up the car it was spotless, and tyler explained all the new buttons and controls. This is my second escape (my other one is a hybrid) and i am pleased with both.

I had a great buying experience. The sales people were very informative and showed me many vehicles which fit my criteria. They were not pushy and gave me time to make my decision. I received a more than fair price for my trade-in and the vehicle I purchased. The vehicle was ready to go when I came in to pick it up and they set up the bluetooth for my phone before I left.

I had only owned my used Ford F150 for about a year and have never been happier with service from a dealership before! I have had one minor service (serp belt) and a few oil changes and they are very professional and very affordable. We have one other larger dealership in the area (NE Wisconsin) and they are rude, poorly skilled and WAY overpriced for even the most simple services. Bravo to Les Stumpf! I am a customer for life!

Trying to purchase a new 2012 Ford F-150 Platinum. Spent a great deal of my time waiting for an offer on my trade and ending up leaving with an offer that was terrible. Bought almost the same truck for almost 4,000.00 dollars less at Bergstrom Ford of Neenah. Bergstrom also put a bug shield and mud guards on truck. Les Stumpf Ford is way over priced.

From the start Sean was very interested in what I was looking for in a new car. Answered all the questions about fuel economy and style of car I was looking for. After explaining the plans available for my lease we took the car out for a drive and Sean answered all questions on the Fusion I could come up with. After I made my selection Brent then explained the financial part of the plan and answered all my questions on the lease process. When the car was delivered Sean then showed me every part of the car from dash to the truck. Days later the dealership called and asked how things were going and asked if I had any questions about my Fusion and mentioned again that I could stop in anytime if I had questions or concerns about my Ford.

I bought a truck from Mike at Les Stumpf three years ago and received excellent treatment, so when looking for a new truck again, Mike was my go-to guy.I wasn't disappointed. Mike worked out a fair price for my trade-in and found the new truck I was looking for. He is straight-forward, honest, knowledgeable, and simply everything one could ask for in a sales representative. I had some minor accessories added before I picked up the truck, which the service department handled well.The financing and addition of extended warranty were handled well by the financial department.My advice: BUY A FORD - I've driven Ford trucks for 40 years. They're awesome! BUY AT LES STUMPF - I've had two good buying experiences there! BUY FROM MIKE - He's a "star performer" at Stumpf!

I really enjoyed dealing with Mario. He is very personable and seemed to be very genuine about his job and relationship with his clients. When we came to pick up our Escape, the business person made the paperwork part pretty quick and uncomplicated.I also like the fact that the Escape was all ready to go - gas, washed, stickers removed. It was perfect. Mario did'nt just throw us the keys and say thanks. He went over everything he could think of and any questions we had. Did not rush us at all.That was a nice touch when Kristy Stumpf called a few days later to ask if we were happy with everything.

eric did everthing he could to get the right financing set up and put me in a newer escape then i had currently owned.eric put no pressure on me to buy i put the pressure on him to give me exactly what i wanted or iwasn't going to purchase a new escape.

I was impressed with Gary Cyr when I made my purchase in October. He was patient and listened to my needs and essentially gave me a fair price on the auto and my trade in as he knew I had brought in comps on similiar vehicles in the area. He knew I had done my homework and also knew I could purchase the vehicle the same day so he was willing to work with me. Brent Erickson did a good job with the purchase paperwork and explained the warranty to me in detail. However when my car broke down less than 30 days later that warranty didn't matter. I am a single mother with a toddler and was sitting in my car in 10 degree weather with no heat or electricity and when I called Gary Cyr he acted like he didn't know me and transferred me to the service department. The service department wouldn't come get me because they were closing soon according to them. It was 4pm, they close at 5pm. The battery in my car was junk. Wouldn't charge at all and looked like it had been taken out of a junk vehicle according to my mechanic. Then in December I called their service department because I had no heat in my vehicle. I reminded them I had a warranty. Yes I realize the "special terms" to these warranties, but really you added a gallon of antifreeze and charged me $110 less than 2 months after I purchased this car. Gary Cyr sent me a Christmas card, but it would have been nicer if he would have called me the day after I called him in distress about my car breaking down and asked me if I got to work ok. I am not impressed with the service of this place and realize now I am only a check to this company.

They got me in for repairs right away, fast friendly service department. Repairs were reasonably priced. I also purchased my car there and got a great deal...Gary (my salesman) wasn't pushy at all and was very helpful and friendly.

Our sales person Jason Finneran was wonderful to work with. He went out of his way to find us a vehicle with the exact options we were looking for. If you are going to shop at Les Stumpf I recommend working with Jason.Michael Moore was an absolute ass to work with. He handles the financing and sales paperwork. He forgot to go over several items on the contract, gave us a bogus term on the loan with Ford Rejected. When questioned about the financing we were told we were getting he said it was unavailable and that we were limited to his option (which Ford Credit rejected). This guy also does not know how to perform basic math. He kept insisting that $1200 divided by 63 (months) was only $7. Corey Stumpf needs to learn how to hire competant people to work in his dealership. He could also learn some customer service skills. When questioning him about his fiance/sales representative (Michael Moore), Corey stood up for the guy who cannot perform basic math. Not to mention was short with us and did not seem at all understanding when it came to the inconvience his employee put my family through. For having purchased 2 new vehicles from this dealership in less than a year, Corey was not very appreciative of our business.If you are going to close a deal with Les Stumpf, insist on working with Brent (sorry I forgot his last name). He is the other person who handles financing/sales paperwork. Brent knows what he is doing and is able to provide correct numbers which actually come out correctly.
