Thomas was totally engaged in an effort to satisfy me when I brought my car in for service. He and the service department performed the routine maintenance and discovered a leaky water pump. I had purchased a warranty and there was no charge. I mentioned that when I purchased the car at another dealership I noticed the driver side door hinges were bent. The original dealer wanted me to pay for the repair, I fully expected to have to shell out about $500 for this service but Thomas called and told me that the dealership was going to repair my door as a courtesy! How about that! I was given a loaner vehicle and they must have worked on my car over the weekend. I picked it up Monday morning and couldn't have been more pleased. Thomas stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process. Exceeded expectations.

I needed an oil change and there was a recall for a latch in the trunk. It turned out i also needed a new light in the tail light and an air filter. The lights on the dashboard are gone. My wait was minimal to get ths work done. They went above and beyond taking care of me. My car interior had been cleaned and my gas tank topped off. In the eight years of driving the 2004 back and forth to Arizona, the only repair required was a leak in the oil gasket. This was my very first Lexus purchase and I have no regrets. My salesman Jeremy was phenomenal! He made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. He knew his stuff when it came to the workings of the car and the comparison of the vehicle to other models I had been considering. He was honest in answering all my questions and seemed to genuinely want me to "love" the car before I bought it. If you're going to buy a Lexus, stop by to see Jeremy! The finance guy I worked with was a bit of a different experience, he didn't seem to care at all about the fact that this was a big purchase for me and made me feel like he didn't respect my time and that I was just one more thing he had to take care of that day. He didn't seem to have my best interest in mind at all. Overall, from my experience, I would recommend Lexus because of Jeremy and the fact that they have a great product but be less inclined to recommend financing through the guy I worked with.

I recently purchased my first (used) Lexus at this dealership. I was absolutely amazed by the professionalism, support, and follow up of everyone I worked with. My sales person was Jeremy who took the time to answer all my questions and ensure the entire car buying process was quick and easy. He completely accomodated my rather hectic schedule and made sure I understood and was comfortable with all of the car's features (he even scheduled time on an alternate day so that the delivery coordinator could go over things with me when it best fit my schedule). Our sales person, Mark Kuller, was very flexible as it took at 2-3 weeks before we could find a time to meet and take a test drive. He was very easy to work with. The facilities are amazing and all of the people were very friendly and accomodating. I would say the only negative was the negotiation process. They played good cop/bad cop on us and weren't forth right on what they were willing to do for us. A one price for all process would be much more pleasant and keep everyone from getting frustrated. The business process, however, was amazing. It was the fastest and least sales pressure process I have been through in buying a car. They even had license plates available on-site. The delivery process was also awesome. Dan was great, and Mark help where he could. Overall, a very good experience.

I was very happy with the used 2010 ES350 with 19K miles I bought from Lexus of Maplewood. They said it had been a loaner car. It had low mileage, a great price and looked and worked like new. The really have nice loaners. It had about every option you could put on one and 3M Protective film that had kept the paint perfect. It also had an after market remote start that has much longer range. I am so happy I was there at the right time. I had been searching for that model, year and color for a few months and when it showed up online I jumped at the price it was listed at. Jeremy Mertes the salesman was helpful and efficient. The gave me very detailed training on every feature of the car before I left. Sat with me in the car going over every feature till I was comfortable with it. I would buy from them again when the time comes.

I met with Jeremy Mertes when I had stopped in for service on my 2005 RX and indicated I was looking to upgrade to a 2009 or 2010. He asked some questions regarding preferences and needs and said he'd be in touch. Within a couple of weeks, he emailed me with information on a 2009. It had all the features I had requested. We visited, test drove, finished the deal and I've been pleased with the car and the dealership. My car had to be brought in 3 times before it was fully fixed. I had paid for the service initially and was told that I had to pay for more the third time I brought it in. In my mind, when I bring a car in to have it fixed and pay a large sum of money for the service and parts, I have to have a guarantee that the problem is resolved. It took 3 times for the dealership to figure out the problem and a call from me to the corporate office to have the issue fixed without having me to put more money into their error. I'm dissatisfied at the way I was treated throughout this ordeal, even after being a loyal client for 4+ years with them. I never took my car to anyone to have it serviced except the dealership.I will now be going to the Lexus dealership in Wayzata for my services form now on, even if it means I have to drive further.

Worst for Service: We bought a Certified Pre Owned Lexus IS250C Convertible for $44k. Within 3-4 days of buying the car we noticed rattling noise at the rear windshield of the car and in the passenger side glove box.The car had to be taken to dealer 4 times with the first 3 weeks. It was with the dealer for more than 80% of the time (the dealer gave us loaner vehicle) in the first 15 days. At couple of instances they told me to pick up the vehicle saying that issue was resolved, I picked the vehicle and the noises existed. Issue is not resolved yet, in-spite of multiple assurances from dealer sales person (Darin Meyer), General Manager (Mike Jensen), General Sales Manager (Matt Koehnen). I had to raise this issue with Lexus Customer Service who are working towards getting it resolved. After buying a car for 45grand you expect certain level of service; unfortunaley Lexus of Maplewood couldn't provide us with the same. I would ask everyone to stay away from this dealership.- Piyush

I truly enjoy my dealership. Owning a Lexus has been a very positive experience for me. I first leased my vehicle through Slater Lampman, who was very kind and helpful, and made the process quite enjoyable. He has a wonderful manner that immediately puts the buyer at ease. I love my vehicle and purchased it when the lease was up. Slater has helped us several times over the years with searches for used Lexus vehicles for our children. I would recommend him, and Lexus of Maplewood, without reservation. My son also owns a Lexus, and while out of town in an area with no Lexus dealer or service, he had issues with his remote and ignition core. Ryan Martin in the Service department at Maplewood helped us by ordering parts and having them overnighted to a repair shop at my son's location. He provided excellent service and really helped us out in getting the problem resolved.We have now purchased our third Lexus -- one for my daughter -- based solely on the positive experience we have had with Lexus and with the quality of the vehicles they make. Though we purchased the two vehicles for my children through private sellers, we are happy to know they are in vehicles that will serve them well through the years and provide excellent safety and dependability.Can't imagine ever switching brands ... or dealers.

From walking in to leaving the entire experience was excellent. We went in to purchase a pre-owned GS300 and were treated excellently by both Jeremy and Mike, as well as everyone else we dealt with. The quality of the car they sold us was excellent and they went the extra mile with a spare key and floor mats to make sure we were taken care of. Jeremy was excellent to deal with and knew exactly what he was talking about. The price we paid for the vehicle was even lower than we expected to pay and they were very fair with our trade-in. Overall, this is the very best in dealer service one could hope to find when shopping for a car.

This is our fourth Lexus RX purchased thru this dealership. During this time I have had wonderful customer service in all facets of the dealership. This last experience (May) was slightly different because we had equipment(hand controls)switched from the old Lexus to the new Lexus. This expense was covered by Lexus thru their mobility assistance program. Our salesperson Christine was very helpful. While she didn't need to "sell" us the car, she delivered the car to our house when all the equipment switching was done and spent quite a bit of time with me going over all the bells and whistles this particular model had. She has followed-up with us to make sure all is going well. Thanks Christine!

We are from North Dakota & attended the Minneapolis car show. We stopped at the Lexus booth as we were interested in a new Lexus RX350 or ES350. Joseph Petrusa and Christine Bouquet were both working at the car show and Joseph introduced us to Christine to answer any questions we had about the vehicles. We told her we were from out of state & would like to test drive the vehicles at some point. Christine offered to meet us at the dealership after her shift at the car show was over which we thought was extremely nice as it was late on a Saturday afternoon. We drove the vehicles and decided we were interested in the ES350. We were treated very kindly and professionally by Christine and Joseph each time we visited the dealership and worked through the purchasing process. After the purchase was made I took a bus from North Dakota to Minneapolis to pick up our new vehicle. Christine picked me up at the depot and took as much time as I needed to go over all the features of the vehicle. She has also followed up with us numerous times to see how we like our new car and if we have any questions or issues. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a Lexus vehicle. We have been very happy with the whole experience. Also, the service department has been fantastic to work with at Lexus of Maplewood.

Our experience in purchasing a pre owned Lexus was incredible. We were treated with the utmost professionlism from the receptionist to the manager to the sales person to the finance person. It was a very hot day - we were asked if we would like water or refreshments by a minimum of 6 people in the short time we were there. It was obvious that everyone cared. We were purchasing a pre owned vehicle - not an expensive new one. We felt that we were treated just like anyone else that would be purchasing a more expensive vehicle.Randy Rucker the salesman who worked with us, did a great job pointing out features of the vehicle we purchased. I went in to the dealer early in my process and John approached me immediately to offer assistance. During the time we were there, he answered every question we had even if he had to search out the answers. We looked at two very different vehicles and John was happy to have us test drive both to help with the decision. He allowed the time for my husband and I to have private discussions as well. I informed him I only had so much money to spend and what my minimum requirements were for a vechical. I informed Greg I was looking at the Acura TL and we discussed both cars. John Bank was my sales representative. I have never had such a professional, competent salesperson in my experience. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging without being pushy in any way. It turns out that the timing of my buying a car and moving out of the cities was bad and I wasn't able to buy from him. Still, he helped me arrange something from another dealer, followed up, gave me even more of his time, and offered to help me with that other dealership in any way he could. He is, in my mind, the best kind of sale representative a company could have. He makes the company look good. My only regret is that I wasn't able to buy a car from him! I also met one of their finance guys, Joe, who seemed like a guy I could do business with. Given my experience I would highly recommend both Lexus of Maplewood and John Bank as a salesman enthusiastically. (Just wish I could have bought a car from that guy.)

Four years ago, on a gray rainy day, I walked into a Lexus dealership and announced to the people standing there, "I'm in a bad mood, I'm not going to buy anything. Who wants me?" Greg Carlini stepped forward and despite my pronouncement, ended up selling me a used Honda for my son.Since then I have bought not one but TWO pre-owned Lexus RXs from Greg. Lexus of Maplewood has probably the best car service department of any car dealership I've ever been to. I brought two of my cars in and was able to pick up both at the same time with no problems or hassle. Jill was a very knowledgeable advisor and answered all of my questions. They also have a young lady, Stephanie, who seems to help out the advisors. She was so sweet, that my daughter wanted to come back just for her! She gave my daughter a Hello Kitty coloring page and a Hello Kitty ring and my daughter was ecstatic. Overall my experiences at the Lexus dealership are always worry free and very friendly. My wife and I purchased our first car from Lexus of Maplewood in 2002, a GS300. The customer service was outstanding. Each time I would bring the car in for an oil change, Ryan Martin our serice advisor, has always taken such great care of us. If my wife or I had appointments to attend to during the oil change, Ryan would give us a loaner Lexus, not a Pontiac to drive around. Over the years we have purchased a Lexus LX470, GS300 and GS400. My GS400 that I purchased in 2002 has 198,000 miles now & drives like new with a silky smooth transmission. Its one thing to sell one of the best cars on the market; it is another thing to have the best service. Lexus of Maplewood really is a step above the rest when it comes to service. I am about to click over 200,000 miles on my GS400, and without a doubt 300,000 all the while having the same service advisor for ten years, thats quality and service at its best! A good indication of future performance is previous performance, that is why I will continue to buy at Lexus of Maplewood.

Gloria contacted us regarding a new GX460 they had in inventory. It was a demo with 1500 miles on it. I informed Gloria (and her manager Joseph) that my fiancee and I wanted to keep our total price under $50k. Gloria said she would review the numbers- called us back, and said come see the car "they would work with us". We drove over 30 minutes to the dealership, test drove the car, and attempted to work with Joseph on the price. Joseph seemed more interested in showing us the lounge area with leather seats and coffee machine than working to get us a better deal. Joseph then informed us the car had been recently repaired due to a parking lot accident- and with the 1500 mileage they would sell us the car for $54,900. I reminded Joseph of our phone conversations and that we could only afford $49,500. After 20 minutes, Joseph came back into the office and told us that $54,900 was the price of the car. After we left - we called Joseph and offered to meet them half way- at $52k. He called us back and said $54,900 was the price. It's unfortunate that this dealership doesn't respect an individuals time. We would have never gone to se the car if we knew they wouldn't "work with us" as promised.

I checked the previous reviews for this dealer on this website and I thought it was not representative. So I purchased a pre owned car there and it turned out to be a nightmare. After a week I purchased the car (I drove less than 100 miles), I had the car checked by Audi and they said the tires were deplorable (ie. under 30%) and the breaking pad required immediate replacement. I asked Lexus to have them changed, they said they'd change the breaking pad, but I would have to pay for the replacement of the tires. They argued that I should've check the tires before. I admit I should have, but who would've thought Lexus would give you deplorable tires? I would've paid for them if they had said beforehand that the car doesn't come with new tires (or at least safe one) and that tires needed immediate replacement. But the way they dealt the issue make you feel like you were completely fooled. The managers were so rude (in particular Matt and Dan). They were mocking and commenting to each other in front of you for the situation as high-schoolers (some comments were like, "it seems to me that somebody bought a used car expecting a new car quality", "if you had any accident due to the tires, it is not part of our responsibility, you should've check it before you drive"). But seriously? The fact that they didn't care to check the breaking pad and the tires says a lot about their reliability. I certainly wouldn't trust this dealer for anything that they do to your car. It is unfortunate that I had to deal with this dealer. The technicians were more understanding (probably they knew that this happens frequently). The worse came when I made the remark that they should've warn us about the conditions of the tires- we could've had any accident due to them, Matt only laughed and replied that that didn't happened and if it did, it wouldn't have been their responsibility. His comment not only is lamentable, but show how little concerned they are for their costumers. Again, this dealer has two different faces. The selling staff are superb and courteous before you buy the car, but the services they provide afterwards and they way they look after their consumers are simply pathetic. Don't be fooled by the nice leather couches and nice amenities in the service room, it could be your worse nightmare when it is about fixing your car. Maybe they have a monopoly over Lexus, I wouldn't know, but if you want a Lexus or any other car, try to avoid this dealer. I am planning to file a complain before the Federal Trade Commission, I really hope this would not happen again to any of you.

I was impressed by the kindness shown by Robert Hamm in searching for a used vehicle and went back to him to make my final purchase. As I began to work on the deal he became very short with me and felt as though he was rushing me through the sale. When he came back to me with a much higher interest rate then first discussed I asked to be given some time to think about it and he replied "I came in on my day off to work this deal - I'll give you 2-3 minutes to make up your mind and then Im leaving". Instead of canceling the deal I moved forward. With no car of my own, he initially said he would do whatever he could to assist in the car buying process but on day of sale was requesting (pushing me is better said) for me to leave work early to close the deal. I was not able to and he became very rude with me. I discontinued my conversations with him at that point. I spoke with the manager regarding Mr. Hamm and told him i would not be doing business with them if I had to deal with Mr. Hamm any further. I was told someone else would assist and then was told no one else was available and that Mr. Hamm was the only one I could do business with. I told them I would rather cancel the purchase but the manager said I would be picked up and would be taken care of by the finance manager.Arriving at the Maplewood location - I was taken to the back office to sign paperwork and handed keys. NO ONE walked me out or even went over anything or features of the car I had just purchased included the manager that had agreed to work with me through this purchase!This is by far THE WORST customer service I've EVER received from a dealership and would NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone! The second you agree to purchase all kindness is out the door and instead of them providing you customer service I felt like I had to bend over backwards to accommodate them in their timing and schedules.DO NOT SHOP AT LEXUS OF MAPLEWOOD - you'll regret having done business with them.

Worst experience I have EVER had at any dealership, much less a Lexus dealership. Had problem that should've been covered under warranty, was told over the phone only that it "wasn't their problem" and when I asked how this problem could've possibly have happened due to something we did on a car with 3000 miles, I was given a "Look, I"m just telling you what my tech told me, there is nothing we can do for you". Even when I went to pick up my car they were rude. I went to Lexus of Wayzata, they had the problem corrected and we were on our way in a half an hour. I give Lexus of Maplewood an F! I would never even let them change my oil again!
