I have purchased three Lexus cars from Lexus of Silver Spring. As soon as I walked into the dealership October 2015 to purchase a new car, Salesman Jonathan Dorfmann greeted me. I immediately felt that Jonathan was someone I could work with. Jonathan spent time showing me the car and it's features. We came back to his desk and began to work numbers. We worked the numbers until we were both comfortable, and I purchased the car. I came back to the dealership three months later for Jonathan to show me a feature on the car. Another car caught my eye. We immediately began talking and talking about whether I could afford the car. Once I decided that I wanted the car, Jonathan worked again feverishly on the numbers in order for me to purchase the 2016 Lexus. Since the color car that I wanted was not on the lot, he gave me a loaner car until my car came in. Each time I go to the dealership, Jonathan knows and greets me very pleasantly, and confirms with me that the car is running well.

Last month we my family went out in search of vehicle hunting and somehow The Lord directed us to Lexus of Silver Spring and we were approached by a pleasant and professional salesman who greeted us and made himself available to help. He asked us what we were interested in looking at, he didn't rush us but gave us time to think through all our choices and even let us take a test drive without feeling being rushed. We were fortunate to make the purchase by the guide brother Godfrey provided us with. He even stayed late that night along with his finance colleague to close the sale. We were so pleased and impressed with the experience that less than a month later when we needed another vehicle it was no brainer that our clear choice was and is brother Godfrey at Lexus of silver spring. This was not my first Lexus purchase, but it was my first time going to the dealer in Silver Spring. I must admit, my experience was a great one!! It started with them picking me up because I needed a ride to the dealership. My salesman picked me up personally, his name was Shell Lewis. He was extremely pleasant!! He knew all about the car, he made sure I was comfortable with the car before we went further in the process. After I purchased the car, I received a follow up call just to make sure everything was still going well. Needless to say I would DEFINITELY recommend this dealer, and if I were you, I would as for Mr Shell Lewis by name personally!

Answer to the question, "Would I recommend this dealership?" HELL NO!I drove my Lexus from Dallas to Maryland and a week after I arrived in Maryland my oil light and check engine light came on. To my disappointment there are no "Park Place" Lexus' in Maryland. I decided to just visit the closest Authorized Lexus dealer. I arrived at Lexus in Silver Spring MD. I pulled in to the "Service Lane" and waited. After waiting 5 minutes I locked my car and wondered inside the service area. There were 4 people crowded in the service desk area and one guy standing in the rather small lobby. No one really spoke to me or acknowledged me when I first appeared in the lobby. Finally, the one guy that was standing in the lobby (chatting with the 4 employees located behind the service desk) asked if I needed any help. This guy never really looked at me and was super tall so just kind of looked above my head while he spoke in my general direction. Definitely not very friendly....sooooooooooo opposite of Park Place Lexus Dealers!!!!!!! I told the tall guy that I needed an oil change. While he kept looking around he asked if I planned on waiting. I said that I would like to wait. The tall guy said that it would be at least 2 to 3 hours if I didn't have an appointment. Never offered a loaner car or anything else! I took back my car key and went back to my car. While in the Silver Spring Lexus service lane I googled all of the other Authorized Lexus dealerships. I found a dealer in Rockville. I called the Rockville dealership and told them what problems I was experiencing with my car and asked if I needed an appointment. The receptionist said that I didn't need an appointment and that they take people without appointments. I was surprised that no one from the Silver Spring dealership never came out to my car to try to save me as a new customer and possibly new business. After all, I will need to have somewhere to take my Lexus and I only take my car to Lexus dealerships! I'm looking for a New business relationship.I arrived at the Rockville Dealership in a half hour. There was a greeter there to inform me that someone would be with my shortly. The greeter stayed with me until one of the service advisors was available.I wasn't too happy to hear the bad news about my "check issue" light but I was very happy that I was helped right away and was on my way to repair! The waiting area was nice with complimentary refreshments and comfortable areas to while your car was being repaired.I have to be honest the overall customer service was not the friendliest at the Rockville location but they assisted me the minute I drove up! I hope someone from Texas reads my feedback! Texas Lexus dealership spoils their customers..................HANDS DOWN!!! The next time I have a problem with my Lexus I might try the DC Lexus dealership...at this point it's a crap shoot :-|Good Luck!!!

In the pm of Fri 9th Sept. I visited your location at 2505 Prosperity Terrace to view my options as I was about to purchase my first vehicle. Mr. Bayo Ojo was highly recommended by a fellow "country man" so I met with him. He was very patient as I went through a few options. His level of interaction as I continue to request information on various models and services offered i.e down payment, financing, after sale service etc was nothing short of professional. I did a second visit the next day [Sat 10] and was told the car I selected yesterday had been sold; Bayo quickly said 'have no fear, il get you a better car.'He selected a brown Toyota Corolla. After a test drive and discussions regarding down payment, financing etc for that particular car, I was sold, "Yes i'll take it" I said. We completed the necessary paper work, and he assured me once the service center is finish detailing my vehicle he will deliver it to my job. That was a huge relief.Bayo provided all the info i needed every step of the way. He was through, professional, patient, extremely willing and has a warm and welcoming persona.I spoke with him a few days thereafter seeking further clarification pertaining to my documentation and MVA and he was most thorough in ensuring I understood the process every step of the way.I stopped by his office 2 days later to see another associate and once I got that over with and was about to leave I noticed I had a flat tire. I sought the assistance of Bayo in having it changed and as expected he got my tire replaced and I was on my way in no time. The best part of my buying experience was dealing with Sam Kim. He is professional, polite, helpful and very accommodating. While signing the documents in the Finance Dept., Sam was busy showing my son the functionality of new Lexus RX 350. Very nice and new way to help the customer, instead waiting for me. This really helped me to come out from the dealership in a short time. I had limited time and had conveyed to Sam. He made sure everything was ready (Car and related documents) when I come. Matt and Alex offered me the Nordstrom of customer service. Absolutely flawless. I can be a bit high maintenance and they handled everything smoothly and the whole process of choosing my car was so easy and enjoyable. Lexus of Silver Spring was referred to me through the Costco program. Although I worked with several other Lexus dealers I worked with this dealership most closely and eventually bought a new Lexus 300h from them at a very fair and good price. They were very professional and helpful, especially Sam Kim. They worked patiently with me to get as close to the options I desired as possible and eventually sent to Delaware to get the right color and best options. In addition to Sam, I at times interacted with several other individuals and whether they were a manager or the guy processing my paperwork, they were all very capable, friendly and helpful.

I bought my Lexus from this dealership. When my car started to act up, I took it to my usual trusted mechanic who diagnosed and replaced my water pump. My car drove well for a couple of months then started to overheat again. The temp sensor would jump from cold to hot and back again. The car overheated again near a reputable auto repair outfit in Columbia, Md and so I had them look at my car. They ran diagnostics and said my water pump was bad (keep in mind this was just replaced 5 months earlier). They quoted a price of 900 to repair it but I returned the car to my trusted mechanic and he ran diagnostics, telling me the cooling system appeared to be working well when he drove it and delivered it to my home again. After a few days the car began to overheat again but this time it broke down near my dealership. I asked if there was any problem with a sensor as my mechanic informed me that he replaced to thermostat just to be sure (the week earlier) at no charge to me. My dealership quoted a price of 1300 and told me the water pump was bad and they recommend also changing the thermostat while during the above repair. Frustrated, I went to pick up my car on a day the dealership was open, to drive it back to my mechanic but no one at the dealership could find my ticket and ended up just giving me my car who collecting the money for running their diagnostics (I offered to pay this amount). To make a long story short, I called my dealership and asked if i could just bring my car in for the repairs but I didn't think replacing the thermostat would be necessary. My concern was still that a sensor or other internal computer problem may be causing my water pump to fail (remember Volkswagen's exhaust scandal) but I was going to go ahead and trust the dealership to fix the problem according their diagnostics - replace the water pump again. I scheduled an appointment but was then I was notified by the dealership that my car was on their "no service list". In essence, I'm not welcome there. I thought this was very immature and unprofessional. I have a right to respectfully offer my concerns when my relatively near Lexus is acting up in a way that is suspect. My mechanic who has taken great car of 5 of my other cars for many years informed me that he pressure checked the cooling system as well as ran the other diagnostics and my car appeared to be working fine while under service. My mechanic said it appeared to be a sensor or other electronic issue rather than a mechanical problem but I should go ahead and have the dealership fix it if they can. DARCARS, this is America and we don't treat customers this way. Recommendation, drive a little further and find another dealership.

Sam Kim is the man! He greets you with his warm smile. He is not pushy, spends time answering questions, and is very, very patient. There was not an ounce of intimidation I felt while he was dealing with me--a first time Lexus driver. He presented the different models and explained the difference. He did not push for me to get any "unecessaries" but focused on my need, which is exemplary for a salesperson because they do need to sell. It's refreshing to deal with someone with a unconventional approach to sales but is quite successful at it. Kudos to Sam!Jeannie Han was also very helpful. Again, she didn't impose and was quite subtle in her sales pitch (for additional service packages), which was great. She took time to explain the packages and pointed out the ones suited for me. She had high spirits even at 7:00 pm on a holiday, and anyone with high spirits at 7:00 pm on a holiday needs a good commendation. So, great job, Jeannie!From personal experience, Lexus Silver Spring team is way better in terms of personal approach and customer satisfaction than the "elite dealer" in another part of Montgomery County. Try waiting for 20 minutes in the showroom for a salesman to help you. There were three of them and me--no one else in the room, but all I got was a glance from all three of them. Should have I put on a suit or something? I'd rather drive farther to give my business to the right people. No regrets.

I contacted several dealers in my search for an RC-F, and in many aspects my experience at Silver Spring Lexus was exemplary. First of all, they had this unusual muscle car in stock and in the color I wanted. My sales associate was Ling Wu and found him to be very quick to understand the type of car I wanted. He offered me a test drive and I was subsequently able to take the car home for a four day extended test drive. This was most unusual to me and none of my work colleagues had ever experienced this before. The car did not disapoint, and I decided to purchase it. I had time to do some research online for a good asking price, and to my surprise, it was accepted. The price was about $13k off the MSRP.After taking the car home and driving it around for a few more days, I found a scar on the front passenger side rim. Since I did not point out this issue before taking delivery, I was not sure what Ling's response would be, but after consulting with the manager, I was pleased to learn that they would cover the cost of the repair on this rim (and other minor blemishes on the others). The repair job that was done on the rim is amazing as I am unable to find the spokes that had this scar. This despite the fact that it appeared a small chunk of metal was missing prior to the repair.During the repair process of my rim Christine from service kept me informed about the status of my vehicle. They gave me a nice loaner to drive and took their time to repair my rims (3 days). She was a pleasure to deal with.Overall, my experience has been really excellent at SSL, and I hope to be a long time service customer.

Well, I am still so excited about getting my dream car Lexus NX200t F Sport back home today and can't fall asleep at almost 2am in the morning! So I decide to write a review to thank my great sales agent Mr. Jonathan. Meeting with Mr. Jonathan was such a coincidence and such a miracle. The agent that I supposed to meet with had a family emergency, so he passed our case to a female agent. We couldn't wait to see our dream car, so we came to the dealer 2 hours before our appointment time. To our surprise, we were told to come back 2 hours later just because of our agent was not available at that time. Well, thanks to Mr. Jonathan, who was willing to take over our case immediately and showed us our dream car ASAP! Mr. Jonathan was very professional in showing us every detailed feature of our dream car and answered patiently to every single question we've asked during the test drive. He also tried so hard to reach a super good deal for us that I think we can get nowhere else. While at the delivery stage, he walked us through every single function inside the car by practicing with us, even after 5 hours since we met at the first time. I think without Mr. Jonathan's help, I can't get such a satisfied closing price. I believe without Mr. Jonathan's efforts, I can't get my dream car home. And there is no doubt that Mr. Jonathan will keep his profession and patience till the very last mins of every deal. Therefore, I strongly recommend Mr. Jonathan to everybody who interested in getting a Lexus car!

Sam submitted my offer which was accepted without the usual haggling. The deal was tweaked and we came to a final agreement in less than an hour. Next,the deal was outstanding. This was confirmed by comments which were made about it on a Lexus web site that I visit.This deal was better than most of the deals when compared to other deals which were reported on from around the country. I bought her last week, so I am a tad bit late with my review because Ladybug and I have been going on a plethora of adventures, but here it is!Let me start off with my wonderful executive sales consultant, Stephanie New! When I walked into the dealership I knew exactly what I wanted and what I did not want, and I knew exactly how much I was willing to spend (since this was my first big girl purchase). I have to admit, I was a bit picky with every detail, including the color, the age of the car, and what gadgets it had inside. I figured that if I was going to treat myself, I might as well spoil myself silly, and she made sure I was able to do just that without coming close to blowing my budget, and GUESS WHAT??! She got me in a LEXUSSSSSS! I honestly did not think it was going to be possible, but she made it possible, and I have not been this happy about something in a long time! She was extremely knowledgeable about every car I showed even a little bit of interest in. we test drove quite a few cars because I needed to find the smoothest ride, and she was very honest when it came to my expectations. I am so appreciative of the amount of work she put in to assure that I left as a happy customer!BUT THATS NOT ALL! Stephanie did not work alone, there was a whole team of wonderful people standing behind her who I also got to meet and work with! Let start off with Billy Karagiorgis, the manager. He was just great with getting me pumped up and doing all of the background stuff and running my numbers to get me into Lady Bug! Next, I met Chris Morris from finance! He had to keep me seated long enough to have me sign all of the papers so that Ladybug could actually be mine, which was definitely a difficult task because I was bubbling at the seams with excitement and kept asking if we were close to finished because I wanted my new baby. He was really calm and made the process as speedy and organized as possible, not to keep me waiting any longer. He wanted to see me drive away in my baby just as bad as me. He explained everything in detail, so I knew exactly what I was signing and made sure I knew about all of the additional perks I could have as well. The third person I met was Kevin Pitamer, the technology specialist. Once, lady bug was finally mine, he sat in my car with me and made sure I knew exactly what each and every button did in my car before I drove off of the lot. We also went for a quick spin so that he could make sure that everything was adjusted to my liking in the car and that I was definitely comfortable before I took my baby home. One of the last people I met there was James Pak, who just really got excited and beyond hype with me and my new purchase. When I saw my IS250 sitting in front of the shop, sparkling in the sun, with a huge bow on top, I just knew that I had made the best decision for me, and I could not have been more elated! I was with this wonderful team for only a few hours, but they feel more like a family. Everyone in the entire dealership seemed happy for me and my new purchase. My wife & I visited the dealership on Tuesday, March 8th with NO intention of purchasing a vehicle that evening. Immediately upon entering the showroom, Sam Kim greeted us in a manner that made us feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed. Sam asked all the right questions but even more importantly, listened to what we said. Needless to say, my wife fell in love with a 2015 IS 250 that was in the showroom. This is the third Lexus Ive purchased and Ive had experience with multiple Dealers in four states along the East Coast. Silver Spring Lexus is at the top of my list. From the immaculate show room to the friendly, courteous staff, the dealership did everything possible to make the purchasing experience professional and satisfying. My experience began with telephone conversations and emails with the Internet Manager, who sent me specification sheets on vehicles shown on the dealers website. He met me when I arrived and introduced me to an executive sales associate that handled the test drives and discussed my needs and reviewed the vehicles available with the associated CarFax reports. I provided pricing comps that formed the basis for my offer. The final pricing was $500 below what I expected. The results of the negotiation was printed in way that permitted even a novice, like myself, to understand the various charges and credits that resulted in the final, bottom line cost.The discussions that followed, with the representative from the finance department, were equally satisfying. The terms of the agreement were comprehensive and clear. All the paperwork required to lease the new vehicle and for my trade-in, was presented in logical and understandable manner. In addition I was offered a loaner to drive, so I could return the next day with my trade-in title and to pick up my new Lexus. The whole experience was professional and flawless. We contacted Matt Emery via email and explained to him what we were looking for in a 2016 Lexus ES350. Once Matt quoted us a price that we liked, we drove down from PA to purchase the ES350. Since Matt was a man of his word, and all of the legwork had been done via email, within three hours, we were driving away in our Lexus. Also, Jonathan Dorfmann was great in assisting us with the preliminary paperwork and demonstrating the Lexus technology for us before we left the dealer. I bought my pre-owned car in July of 2015, and it is currently on its SIXTH time to the garage for multiple different issues. I've had to put so much time and money into this car since I bought it, my purchase wasn't even worth it. When I tried to call to speak to someone any time in the past few months I have been either completely ignored or have had great disrespect shown to me by "managers". Also, I had my car paid outright with cash the day I bought it and they had my title sitting in their possession for over 3 weeks before I had to call and get them to send it to me, even though they were supposed to send it to me originally as soon as they received it.They are rude as xxxx, and I hope no one uses the pre-owned department at this Lexus. All they'll do is try to screw you over unless you have a boat load of money. I will absolutely NEVER return.

They made the process of buying a car super easy and they work with you to accommodate your needs and wants. They also do great maintenance service, I go to Russell who is now the service manager but he treats me specially and takes care of what I need. They have a very diverse demographic of clienteles and the Korean community seems to favorite the Lexus of Silver Spring a lot, especially in my neighborhood. I can be super particular about how things are done but they were so patient with me and go out of their way to give me great service! 10/10 for sure. We purchased a NX200 2015 and I couldn't get the bluetooth to connect to my phone so I called and they told me to come in immediately so they can help me and it worked! Love all the employees there, they are super nice and friendly.

My past experience with this dealership had always been outstanding up until I started noticing some changes...new service manager, loss of the best service advisor Shaun Heckle and shortly after Delfin Green, new general manager, etc. I can only assume these changes were approved by dealership owner in hopes to benefit this company. From my experience and of the experience of friends and family, these changes were the starting point of the collapse of a dealership we once loved and trusted. In turn, my family has observed a multitude of counterfeit personalities in disguise of great management. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! False service recommendations will be made. New service. I love the Lexus RX -- this is my third but the first from this car dealer. They lost my paper work and accounts (so I filled everything out twice) and now its been six months and still no plates. They claim they are missing a form (which thankfully I save the scans and emails that show they acknowledge it). I email/call and can't get an answer about what to do. Looks like I will have to return this mess to them and start over....... alas, not with Lexus. My sales guy Alex was great...its the corporate office I think that is just incompetent. The amount of hours I have spent on this would make you cry.

I've bought many cars in my lifetime, but never have I felt compelled to write a review regarding my experience at a place of business. Recently, I received a phone call from Matt, one of the Sales Managers, claiming that the dealership needed my leased Lexus back early so they could replenish their pre-owned inventory. He told me he could give me a brand new car, with the exact same terms and features of my existing vehicle, without anything from me except my current lease. I'm always leery about things like this, but there was something about my discussion with Matt that made me feel ok about it. A few hours later, I arrived at the dealership. I was literally greeted at the door by him, which was a shock, since managers always seem to be stuck in their office, playing that game "telephone" with the sales people like we did when we were younger. He brought me over to a wonderful sales person named Jonathan, who had everything ready, including a clean vehicle and preliminary paperwork. A couple hours later, I was driving away in my brand new car. It was truly an incredible experience. Matt played no games, and everything was as it was explained to me on the phone. Jonathan was attentive and friendly. Whatever upper management is doing at Lexus of Silver Spring, KEEP IT UP! I've been a customer of theirs for many years, but I've never been as pleased as I am right now.

In the State of Maryland you also get a tax break for trading in your cars, so it was worth trading my cars. Trevor and Kenneth are sales managers where they listened to my concerns and made the buying process so easy and stress free. If you just go, they will get you into a car~! Kenneth Kim is the man to go to. Just go straight to him because he gets things done extremely fast and accurate. For the cherry on top Chris Morris aka "Chef" got me out of there faster than a roadrunner and made the buying process really easy. I purchased my car back in May 2014, so please forgive me for the lateness of this review. I was looking to purchase a new car, and after months of research, I decided to go from my dying 2000 Honda Accord to a new 2014 Rx350 F-Sport. Since the new 2015's just hit the market, I was looking to save a little on the new car by going with the '14 model. My brother in law and I called all the Lexus dealerships in Baltimore, and no one had 2014's in stock. So we decided to just go a look at the 2015's. On our way to the Owings Mills location, Andreas called me on my cell phone to tell us he had one in stock. So off to Silver Spring. Andreas was quick to greet us when we arrived and showed us the last of the 2014's he had. The floor model, black on black. Andreas was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the car, from the mechanics, electronics, as well as history of the model.The actual negotiation of the car price was not nearly as bad as I had envisioned. Andreas was patient and was able to explain every number. He was not a high pressure salesman. He wants to make a deal happen, and he will go the extra mile to make that happen. We came with a number, and we were able to hit that number for the car. The process did take some time; but that's another thing with Andreas and his team... he's willing to stay to make you happy. We arrived around 6pm and didn't drive off the lot until 11pm, on a Friday. Both Kenneth Kim and Vincent Gross were also a pleasure to work with. They want to make a deal and they want you to be happy. I drove off the lot completely happy with my experience at this dealership.The service at Lexus of Silver Spring is second to none. I highly recommend this dealership if you want high quality customer service, staff that makes you feel welcome, and sales staff that works with you to make that deal happen.Finally, my brother in law just bought a car from the same team yesterday. We arrived at 7pm and left at just past 1am! Yes, they stayed until past 1am to make this deal happen. They want you to be happy. If you're serious about buying a car, they will make a deal happen. I purchased a 2011 rx350 from used dealership. What I was told was an awd, later , after three months, found out was 2wheel drive after getting stuck in the snow. Went back to dealership and was put in a rx 350 what I originally wanted an awd.. After fighting for every penny, I took almost a 10k loss bc of a inexperienced sales person.. Now I am upside down on a Lexus I will probably have to keep forever to get out of the hole.. On top of a that the first purchase it took almost 3 months to get tags and title work done after calling several times. And second purchase was even worse took 4 months to get tags after being force to pay extra for taxes that they don't calculate for during transaction. Very poor customer relations in finance department was told sevral times "I will call you back" and guess what no call back. Finance manager filled me full of crap told me he was working with dmv and my tags magically appeared same day. I spoke with and called finance department probably 12 times, and several times could not speak with anyone bc they were "to busy"when they should have been calling me in the first place telling me what was going on!! Beware dealership is not there for the customer only for themselves!!!! What a terrible and chaotic experience for what should have been a rewarding and exciting purchase...

I went in to purchase a CPO Lexus truck. The salesperson was kind, Ebi. The manager, Justin, left much to be desired. After speaking with him and negotiating a reasonable deal, a different amount appeared on my final paperwork. When I refused to complete the deal, I was referred to the "pre-owned" director, Scott. He proceeded to threaten me into purchasing a vehicle I had not taken possession of by telling me since I did some of the paperwork, I owned the vehicle. The strong-arm tactics included several stories about others they had taken to court and judges forcing customers to purchase vehicles. He told me that they owned my trade and I owned the truck that I went in to purchase, solely because I signed a few papers. I never took possession of the vehicle and never drove it other than a test drive. I also refused to sign over my trade when I realized what was happening. I contacted the dealership under a different name a few days later to inquire about 2 different trucks that I had seen on the lot. The less than knowledgeable sales person tried to convince me that they were the premium models and the same. Having seen both of them, I knew one had features the other did not.I also learned that the dealership purchases vehicles from random auctions, so you don't know where the vehicles came from and can't be certain about their maintenance. I emailed the dealership hierarchy on 2 separate occasions and did not receive a reply from their customer service manager, so clearly they had no interest in resolving the matter.I will NEVER make an attempt to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and would advise others to stay away. Their tactics are not customer centric and their interest is making money for the dealership, not serving the customer. STAY AWAY FROM LEXUS OF SILVER SPRING PRE-OWNED!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET THE TRIP.

I wish I could say that I had a great experience here. At this dealership everyone is really friendly until you sign on the dotted line.....After that everything goes out the window. I should have gone with my gut instinct and took the drive back down to Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly. My terrible experience all started on my first visit. I repeatedly ask myself why did I return and give them my business. My advice to others never purchase under time pressure or sales pressure, for that matter. They all seem to work together and not in the favor of the customer. They make promises that they never have intentions on following through with. I would not recommend anyone here for any future purchases or for their service. I have never purchased a car and not received follow up from my salesperson. I was actually surprised at the treatment that I was given here. Needless to say when I purchase my new Lexus in February, I will not be returning here. They should take a step back and take a look at the level of service that they are providing and realize that consumers have many options on which dealership they choose when purchasing their car.

I've bought many new cars in the past and this was my 2nd new Lexus that i've purchased. Andreas by far was the best salesperson that Ive ever worked with. Being that I am women, Ive dealt with many salesmen that treated me like I didnt know what I wanted, I didnt know what I was talking about or "there is no way that you can get that car, for that price". Andreas was the first salesman that I worked with, that didnt care about him making money and wanted me to get the best deal that i could possibly get. It was almost like a big brother helping his little sister. There was no pressure or no aggressive salesmen tactics trying to force me to buy something that i didnt want or a price that I wasnt comfortable paying. He made sure that I got the price and the car that I wanted!!! This is why I rated Lexus of Silverspring the highest rating possible. This experience was truly outstanding!!!

My husband and I have purchased over 15 cars in the last two years and I honestly have to say that this by experience was by far the most pleasurable experience that we have ever encountered. Terry was an absolute wonder to work with he made sure that all of the paperwork was done efficiently we didn't have to wait around we got in and out in all of our concerns addressed promptly. The manager James made us feel like we were at home, that we had been lifetime customers and that we were actually friends of everybody that worked there. While we Surely enjoy our new LX 570 I don't know it by next car will be A lexus but I can promise you that either Terry or James will be our salesperson.

Heard of the famous saying 'Used car salesmen sell snake oil'. I experienced that here. Terrible experience looking to buy a used car. The two James guys are cheats to the core. Let me tell you the car-fax report looks ultra clean but the car would have been in an accident. If you get the car inspected by a good inspector you can find it out. I was lucky in that way that my inspector found it. Now after this, i told them i dont want the car and asked return the deposit back. They said, sure, within a week. But that did not come until 40 days that too with 3 reminders. Ultimately a nice guy in the financial division took care of my return without the intervention of this James Gardner. Lexus boasts of excellent customer service but this James Gardner is exactly the opposite. Dont trust these fellows, especially the used car people here are simply horrible.

We looked at the pre owned certified Lexus last September 2011 and purchase a 2010 ES 350. So I needed a SUV because the one i had was reaching it last leg. Since we had such a great experience with the pre owned vehicle we purchase, we decided to look at another pre owned certified RX 350. This time the experience was even better once we met Rick Sanchez. He was by far the best sells person i have ever in counter. Let me say this before purchasing a pre owned vehicle i have never brought a used car before. With the very low mileage vechicle he showed us it was a no brainer to purchase a pre owned RX. With the minor imperfection Rick made sure everything was taken care of. He is such a valuable employee to this company. I would not be surprise to see him becoming a general manager one day. Alex the sales manager was very helpful and made sure the deal we got for the RX was fair to all parties.

OMG, Initially I felt as though working with directly through the dealer would be very costly and my husband I would be in there for at least 5 hours as hostages. However, James as our sales person was very on point for getting directly to our purpose; he knew the questions to ask of us as buyers and was very comfortable to put it all out regardless of what it may have cost him (unselfish). He assured us that he would find what we wanted by first giving us the opportunity to look on our own, giving what we decided on color, seats and accessories. He was realistic on pricing and asked that we be realistic as well, by breaking down the cost of the options we chose compared to what we were willing to spend. Once he was able to break this down, his technique was to physically show us that at some point we could meet at a medium that was in the best interest of customer first and keeping the reputation of the dealership in tact. Once we sealed the deal with James, he released us to Troia and again, I was amazed how the team work of James and Troia complimented each other. She broke down every option in detail, and was able to make my husband and I feel secure with adding the options that we would have not normally been sold on. James and Troia awesome professionalism and team work. James has 10+ experience at Silver Spring Lexus and he was very straight forward with the dealing process and made it very easy for us. Due to the nature of purchasing pre-owned vehicle, there are some parts that had to be searched for and James was proactive in searching for those pieces and making sure that everything is in place.Sally was a very fine person to talk to and she made the financing / closing process (which is quite lengthy and could be boring) very entertaining and easy. She went over the details of the service package and other programs, and went over what would be the most appropriate packages / programs for us to purchase as well.We've purchase a pre-owned certified car, and they were very proud of the cars they are selling and the services they provide. I even took my friend there a couple days after I purchased my own car - my friend ended up buying a pre-owned car from James as well. My family and I purchased two used cars from Lexus of Silver Spring on the same day. Our salesperson was James Park. I have purchased over twenty cars in my lifetime and this was by far the worst experience yet. Initially the salesperson and the manager were all smiles; however, after the sales were made the customer service was non-existent. Mr. James Park promised that he would take care of the problems that my family and I identified in the cars but they turned out to be idle promises. It is extremely difficult to get a hold of the salesperson or the manager. I have resorted to asking for other salespeople and then having them transfer me to them as they are avoiding my calls. I am extremely dissapointed in the Lexus brand as it is evident that they do not screen/monitor their employees. During the sale, the employees always brought up the term, "luxury car" or "Luxury dealership" but this place and these people are far from it. One of the cars had a DVD player that did not work and did not have the proper equipment to make if functional. If these poeple ever promise anything, you may want to have it as part of your contract so you can hold them legally liable. I thought that since we were purchasing more than one car, we would have better service. My last ditch effort to get anything that they promised done was to call the Darcars owner and only then were some of the issues taken care of. I am extremely disappointed in Lexus, Darcars, Lexus of Silver Spring, and most of all of James Park and James Gardner. They really need to learn how to treat customers. I will make sure that my family and friends do not make the mistake of ever visiting that place. We are suppose to get a survey from Lexus and I cannot wait to let them know how poorly we were treated. We have been insulted, disrespected, lied to, and taken advantage of. Ensure that this does not happen to you.

As a repeat customer, I walked into this dealership looking to possibly upgrade. I was stuck on getting another vehicle the exact same color, but it appears that Lexus doesn't produce vehicles in that color anymore. After I selected a vehicle that I would consider, James immediately went to bat for me. I stood firm on what I wanted for my trade-in, he got it for me. Each time he came from the various dealership offices, he had better and better news for me! Still reluctant, he introduces me to Amal Adnon, the financial service manager. After seeing her genuine smile and warm greeting, I knew I was walking out of there with that car! The initial numbers she crunched scared me to death, and she saw it in my face. She asked me what I wanted my note to be, and she brought me to $18.00 more that my quote! The thing that I most appreciated was that I heard she was about to leave for the day, then after meeting me, she decided to take me as he last customer. I was done with all of the paperwork in one (1) hour.James & Amal are a dynamic team, and I would highly recommend working with this pair for an honest deal and exceptional treatment!

I bought a used SUV here after seeing it online and after a month long search for that specific make, model and year. While the sales executive, Terry, was great, and the used sales manager, Alex, was OK, the rest of the staff bring the whole business down to 1 star. I gave it a 2 star just because I thought the sales executive did a decent job. There is no communication between sales, management and finance. The gal in finance who helped me, Sally, made me feel like I was intruding on her day. When I walked in to ask her a refinancing question a few days after I purchased my vehicle, she screamed at me, "If you don't have a check for me, I don't know what you're doing here!" I have never been treated so terribly by anyone in a customer service profession. Don't buy here -- but if you must, certainly don't finance through them. I was supposed to get a deal which was arranged with sales and management but that was never communicated with finance and when I mentioned it, they did a bait and switch and Sally said she couldn't honor it. I was in a hurry to buy a car so I didn't put up much of a fight. Update: they later sent my title to a third party not at all related to my transaction and refused to correct the error in a timely fashion. I was forced to clean up this mess on my own. Despite writing an email to the Vice President of Darcars, no one from the dealership ever apologized for this unacceptable disclosure of private information to that third party.

We found an RX350 on Cars.com and flew across the country to get it. It was an amazing vehicle, but the customer service of Frank Carapezza topped the car which is impossible to do! Frank helped with tips once I landed, getting setup at the Courtyard Marriot, going for breakfast the next morning, etc. Frank had the ability to make me feel like a individual that was adopting a vehicle into my family, not like someone who was trying to get the cash out of my pocket. Frank's customer service was A+ and I would easily fly across the country to buy from him again. Sally Morshed did the financing and she was not only great at her job but was a hoot to chat with!

I never had such an great experience with car buying. James had been excellent. When I walked into the dealership, I wanted to check out a couple of cars, I found on the dealer's website. Since I hadn't called to check, I was under the impression that that they were still available. When I learned that they were sold. I was little disappointed and was about to leave. That is when James offered to help and show me cars - in the same price range with better features. In the end, I ended up buying a car that is a year younger. James went out of his way to work with his manger to offer a good price. This was an amazing experience for me.

Overall an unbelievable visit. I went into the dealership to only converse about my current vehicle. In only a casual conversation I mentioned my eldest son is about to start driving and I wanted to get him a reliable but less expensive vehicle. James Park instantly started searching possibilities even though I stated I was only talking and had no interest in purchasing. His response was, "At least we can give you a fair estimate on a vehicle so even if you don't buy today you know where you stand." After finding a ridiculously perfect vehicle for me, Park, Gardner, and Lyles went so far as to fight late into the night with their management to get me to a price that I definitely should not have gotten the car for. They even took it upon themselves to fight even harder to get me lower monthly payments NOT TO GET THE DEAL, because I had already said I wanted the vehicle, but so that my wife and I will be comfortable paying for the vehicle. I have NEVER been treated with not just such consideration but honest concern and care for myself, my wife, and my children. Any business is lucky to have these 3 individuals and regardless of the company they may work for now or in the future, they have my guaranteed business and highest recommendation to any and all who ask about vehicle purchases.

Upon arrival at the dealership after locating the car that we came to see (advertised on Auto Trader) we were greeted by Aaron Tucker (pre-owned sales consultant). Aaron immediately retrieved the keys and showed us the car allowing us a lengthy test drive. He was very knowledgable and helpful. After a long day of negotiating (with his very able assistance) his patience and warm friendly manner kept the mood light and enjoyable. Alex Abbaszadeh, the pre owned sales manager was our first point of contact for the negotiation of the price on the vehicle. Very nice man but was unable to approve the price we were asking, therefore the senior sales manager got involved, Tony Ramazani. They all treated us with respect and did their best to meet us as close to what we were asking as possible. We were very pleased with the interactions we had with EVERYONE at this dealership. After the deal was set we met with the finance manager, Christopher Morris and he walked us through the remaining paperwork, another very professional part of our experience, while Aaron took our new car in to be detailed before we drove it off the lot. It looked beautiful! I would highly recommend this team of people for your next car purchase.

In most cases, when making major purchases such as an automobile, the experience is oftentimes stressful and full of uncertainty. From the beginning, with my call to inquire about a vehicle, I scheduled an appointment for a test drive with Ony. He was professional and knowledgeable. Although I was unsure and wanted more time to think about purchasing the vehicle, he was patient and followed-up (without being pushy) to see if he could assist in answering any additional questions. Alex, the sales manager was there to answer additional questions as well, and was very knowlegeable. The credit managers, Sally and Tony were great in obtaining the best possible financing for the vehicle. Overall my rating for the entire expreience is "Great", for a positve experience. Mr. Ramazani and Mr. Carapezza made our car buying experience exactly the way it should be anytime you walk into a high class dealership. They were helpful in every aspect of the deal. The 1st dealer told me that they couldn't give me a better rate than the one they gave me. Lexus beat their rate and my payments are lower. I'm in a bigger, better car with more features. Purchased a late model used car via an Internet listing. I asked for and received a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle (nicks, dings, scratches,scuffs glass, wheels etc. etc.) and based upon the detailed, panel by panel representation made by the salesman,Frank Carapezza and based upon his assessment made an offer to purchase. A final price was agreed to with minimal "haggling". Upon taking delivery of the vehicle, we were treated in a professional, courteious and most importantly, efficient manner by Mr. Carapezza. The vehicle was prepped and ready for delivery and the paperwork was well organized and expediently handled by the Finance Manager, Chris Morris. On Dec 23 2011 I visited the Lexus of Silver Spring to buy a used SUV. After a couple hours, picked out a white 2010 RX 350. I also had a trade in 2007 BMW 3 series. My sales person Adebajo Ojo was very helpful and was able to get the car in my target price range and payment. After that, I worked with the Finance Manager, Christopher Morris to obtain financing for my car. I was approved for 5.99% and told him I would be back to following day with my title. We signed all of the paperwork to finalize the deal and all that needed to be done was to bring the title. I left my trade in at the dealership. The following day (after I had already called and insured my new car), I received a phone call at work that I needed to come into the dealership. I got off work early and when I arrived, the General Manager and Sales Manager pulled me into their office and let me know that there had been a mistake on their end and that they could not honor the deal they had signed the contract for. They mistakenly gave me too much for my trade in and would lose their jobs if they did not cancel the deal. They demanded I give them their keys and refused to honor the deal they had signed for. I was surrounded by several men in an office and felt like they were trying to bully me into giving them what they wanted. I had no choice but to give them their keys and take back my car.

I bought a Certified Lexus IS250 AWD a month ago from this dealership. I was very impressed with their behavior and eagerness to have me as a potential buyer. I was greeted by Issac first, who was very helpful in finding me the exact car that I wanted. After I found the car I wanted to get, Tony Ramzani (the manager) greeted us very nicely. He knew that I was a very interested buyer and made me a great for the car which was within my budget. Tony is a great guy; I recommend everyone to go to see him if you are seriously interested in buying. He doesn't haggle with the price. If you give him a fair offer, he will do his best to do business with you. After I bought the car, Tony introduced me to everyone at the dealership, showed me around, and made me feel very welcomed to the community. Also after you buy the car if you have any issues with it, talk to Tony directly and he will take care of your problems. Ali (the accountant) was also very knowledgeable - he explained everything in layman's terms and it was a pleasurable experience to do the paperwork with him. I am a recent college grad, and this is my first car. I've been to 3 other Lexus dealerships around the area but I was impressed with the Lexus of Silver Spring the most. They also have a great selection of Pre-owned certified cars. I've had a wonderful experience here and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone who is interested in buying a Lexus. I stopped in on a weekday to see if a specific vehicle was currently in stock. James greeted me immediately on the lot and he was very courteous and professional. Absolutely no pressure. Luckily the vehicle was still in stock and James initiated the paperwork right away. Everything went so smoothly and so quickly. I was so amazed. I had been looking at the Lexus RX350 for a few weeks. I had visited 3 local dealers in the Maryland area. At 2 of the dealers, we couldn't agree on a price. At the 3rd dealer, the color I wanted was not in stock. Finally after checking Silver Spring's website, I began to believe I would have to travel out of town to locate my car. On Sunday night, I checked Silver Spring's website again and the exact vehicle I had been looking for was there. The features were all there, the color was exact, the milage was perfect. I called on Monday and spoke with Chris. He asked if he could call me back after verifying the vehicle was there. Within 10 minutes, Chris called me back, the vehicle was there, I traveled to the dealership. Upon arrival, I saw the vehicle and told Chris if there was no problem with the test drive, and we could agree on a price, this would be his easiest sale for the month probably. Well, the stars were all aligned for me, the test drive was great, there was a minor concern that Chris agreed to have taken care of, we agreed on a price, and I purchased the vehicle the same day.Thank you, Chris and Amal (finance) for making this entire experience very simple, easy, and quick! Not only were Chris and Amal very attentive, but the Sales Manager (Tony) was too! By the time I left there, the 3 of us were talking/laughing as though we had been friends for years, and my opinion of Lexus dealers had changed. Tony was very kind and friendly and the man really has integrity. After settling on the price, Sally took care of us in finance. The salesman did not know the features of the car.The salesmanager made every effort to seel us a car even though we plainly said we had no interest in that particular vehicle.The woman who wrote the contract continued to ask about add-ons after I had said "no" many times.We took our car in for service when directed to do so although the service department did not have the part in stock and would not for another 6 to 8 days.

I brought my Lexus in for a key replacement over a month ago. They replaced the key, battery, and ,supposedly, did some other work. The total bill was about $2000. Few days ago, they called me from Lexus of Silver Spring to tell it was done and I needed to pick it up. So I went to pick it up, turnes out, my bumper is brocken, piece is missing, and the left light is not working. The employees of the place - mechanics, managers, general manager, all denied that those damages were done at their shop and re not willing to repair or cover the cost of repair. They said that probably towing truck did that, but I am positive that the damages werent there when I saw it in their shop last time, a week after it was dropped off by towing truck. I really dont know what to do. None of the employees at the dealership are being helpful. I have a feeling, that someone had been driving that car before they called to tell me it was done. And, now they are trying to cover themselves up. They won't let me see surveiliance cameras, and not taking any responsibilties for what had happened at their shop. The general manager says he believes his mechanic because he has worked there for 25 years and doesnt want to help.And, another thing, they never gave me an estimate, how much the service would be, every time they called it was "probably this much" - a different price. I said, do everything you need, just want my car up and running. And how could they call me to tell it was done, if the left light is not working?

I rated this dealership straight "5s" because I had such an exceptional experience while there. The attention i got was phenomenal. I first went there quite apprehendsive about buying another car but walked out happy that I did. The financial manager took her time in explaining my options and made sure that I was put in the right car that I could afford. Everything was explained in detailed; to include the various maintenance packages,functions of each feature in the car,etc. The salesman was very friendly, experienced, and very professional. When I went to Lexus of Silver Spring, automatically i was greeted with respect and kindness. James went the extra mile to make sure my family and I bought a vehicle we were not only happy with but was the best vehicle for us. In our correspondences he was never once pushy in selling the car. He also worked tirelessly with his manager Alex to give us the best price possible. In return Alex took it a step further showing us all the options available in the car and syncing all the devices needed to the car. My daughter purchased a preowned Lexus from this dealership. As the car had not been cleaned before being sold to her she was told to bring the car back for detailing. My daughter's work schedule precluded her from being able to take the vehicle back so I did this for her. Although the original salesman was not available to assist me with this one of his peers, Alex, stepped in and provided me with a vehicle to drive while the detailing team worked on the car. It took the team a couple of days to complete the work and I found Alex diligent in monitoring the progress of the work and keeping me apprised. I do not know if my experience was typical but I know that it was because of the care and consideration by Alex that my experience at this dealership was positive.

This is my second experience with buying a Lexus and I found it to be the most pleasant experience I've ever had with an automobile dealer in my 10+ years of car buying. The salesman ( James Joon Park )was very straightforward with his answers. Inside the dealership, every other employee was friendly, courteous and helpful for the entire duration of the purchase. Dealer ripped me off I purchased a new car,a used motorcycle and 2 used cars and they sold 22,000 from me when I was sick they loss my 15,000 down payment and over charged me for a used car. This is not guess but has been priced varifed by a lexus manager. So if you want to get ripped off to to Lexus of Silver Springs. I have been leasing/buying cars from Lexus of Silver Spring for over couple decades. I find it to be very professionally run. Alen Baik, has always been very courteous, professional and helpful. He takes the time to answer all the queries (however trivial they may be) in a very calm way. We are a family of 3 kids and my wife had some very specific questions to which he and Kim (salesperson) provided appropriate and honest responses. At no point, did we feel pressured or misguided. The paper work that followed was also very efficient and we did not have to wait or find surprises when we were doing the paper work(as we have heard some horror stories from our friends on other dealerships). Kim explained all the features of the car in a very professional manner and did not mind repeating them - though we were aware of lot of clients in the dealership that day. It comes as no surprise to me that people come to Lexus of Silver Spring for their vehicle needs as Alen Baik runs the dealership in a very professional way with a very keen personal touch. I find all the functions of the dealership to be very efficient and caring. That is the reason for our rating and we would be happy to provide any other feedback if needed.

Our experience at Lexus of Silver Spring exceeded all of our expectations. Salesman Ony Agugua was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the product. In fact, when we've got to talking, it was hard to stop. We discussed our backgrounds, and I learned that, like myself, he was a mathematics student in college. He showed us the cars we were interested in and helped out when we had a problem with the seat belts. On a previous visit, he helped my (Edith's) 94-year-old mother get into the cars we looked at. All in all, it was like talking to an old friend whom we had known for a long time.Used-car director Joe Leonard worked hard to make our experience a seamless one, from our initial greeting, through the financing of our automobile, to the necessary detail work that we would have found tedious had we had to do it. Though he was with us least of all the people we worked with, his presence was felt throughout our visit.Sally Mehsud helped us through a mountain of paperwork, making what could have been (and what usually is with most other automobile dealers)a horrible and boring experience utterly pleasant and interesting. Leading us through the signing of the forms, she discussed her background and experience in the United States with such ardor and enthusiasm that we were infused with her spirit and delighted at how much we learned.Do other dealerships have such bright and affable people as the ones we met at Lexus of Silver Spring? We hardly think so; at least, we've never met any that could match these individuals in sheer intelligence and personality. I came to Lexus of silver spring after having a horrible experience at another Lexus dealer. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the general sales manager. Rather then passing me to sales person he spent over an hour chatting with me finding out what my needs were and then walking the grounds with me to show different cars. I am sure he was very busy and has sales people to do this but he took the time. My sales person a jay was great also. My two hours spent at Lexus of silver were exactly what car buying should be but it has never been anywhere else. Wow what an experience I will never buy a car anywhere else. I was satisfied until 2wks ago. I called several times, left several msgs. Either I couldn't get through or lft a msg and no call back. Either time!When I finally got through, no appts available. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! I will probably not use the service department at Silver Spring Lexus again. I understand that there have been recent recalls. If you expect to retain the remaining customers that you do have, you should be willing to treat them accordingly. I WAS loyal to Lexus, but now I am beginning to rethink my choice. I am in the market to buy again...I may not buy Lexus due to the horrible experience...but I most definitely WILL NOT buy from Lexus of Silver Spring.

As a Director of Sales I fully expected the haggle treatment that most people associate with car dealers. This is certainly not the case here at Lexus Pre Owned Dealer here in Silver Spring. I went in for a routine service. The appointment process went without issues. Also my service manager was very pleasant to work with. He had the loaner vehicle waiting for me, explained the entire process, and was knowledgeable enough to answer my questions and requests in a satisfactory manner. However, it all went south from there. My vehicle was returned to me with parts of the interior pieces hanging off from their trim. My door control module was not properly secured in the door panel and it had popped out when it was returned to me. Also the TPMS reset button was hanging out of it place. Lastly, there was a screw on the floor to which it was never secured onto (it turns out it was a screw for one of the panels). I went in for a routine service!! why the !at#$ were the interior pieces touched in the first place?! Fortunately I was able to repair them myself after the discovery (after I've gotten home). This just tells me that these guys will put on a smiling face but will treat your vehicle like crap after they see you ride off of their lot. I sensed no respect for my vehicle what so ever and am not going to go back to this dealer. Good riddance.

BEWARE! They love to play the bait and switch game. My husband and I was at the dealership and left because the price was too high. Email was sent shortly for the RX 350 AWD w/Nav 2008 Cert. Price was very good. I told her there was another one I liked (Silver - the first one was black). I asked her if both were still avil. She said yes. We drove a good 2hrs to get to the dealership. The black one had been sold but she failed to mention that. The silver one did not come with cert. The price was higher than the black one. She said she can add the warranty. It is now 8PM and she said she can't match the price she had quoted me. She brought out another car (said it was silver but it was bamboo pearl). She this one would be around the same price as the black one. The bamboo pearl had rust on the side where it had been hit!!! Sale rep. deniled quoting me the price till I showed her the email. Then she said that was for the RX 350 with out nav. Just beware. They are full of games! Take your money and go to a dealership that will treat you with more respect.

Actually the sales experience was good, but the finance team stinks. My husband and I leased two (2) ES 350s on 4/10/2010. We traded a 2006 ES 330 and a 2003 Benz E320 both had payoff balances. As of 5/3/2010 neither one of our trade-ins have been paid by Lexus, despite the 15 day payoff notices given by previous auto lender Citi-Financial. Fifteen days from April 10th means the payoffs are due by April 25th. As I said it is May 3rd and the payoffs have not been received by Citi-Financial. In the meanwhile we are receiving calls from Citi-Financial requesting payments that were due the 16th and 18th of April. We did not make these payments because we knew the payoff quotes wer good thru the April 25 and we never imagined that Lexus would not honor the aggreement. We have called and spoke to severals financial reps at the dealership and we're being told the checks are in the mail. We held a conference call with Citi-Financial and Lexus, Citi asked for copies of the checks and the Lexus rep said they would have to make a request for them, then Citi asked for the mailing address used Lexus need to request that too. The accounts are still accruing interest and the payoff balance given on the 10th are no longer valid. I asked the lexus rep about the aditional monies that will be due as a result of the delay and she didn't have an answer for that either. My husband is freaking out because he is concerned about our credit. This ordeal is frustrating we have spent countless hours trying to resolve this matter. We both want to return the vehicles, besides our first vehicles were a lot less trouble. I will let you know the date the cars finnaly get padi off.

Lexus of Silver Spring was the last dealership I visited because of its low rating on Dealerrater.com. I had been to Sheehy in Annapolis and Lexus of Rockville, but was unable to find an LS 430 with navigation and decent mileage in my price range. To my surprise, I had a great experience at Lexus of Silver Spring. My salesman, Walid Ahmed was professional and extremely knowledgeable about his product. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering purchasing a previously owned Lexus. More importantly, he was not high pressure at all which would have been a huge turnoff. Walid pointed out lots of features on the LS 430 I selected while I sat in the driver's seat and tried them out. I had to take delivery of the car the next day, and Walid saw to it that I was given a loaner car. He went over the main features of the loaner car, also, which I appreciated. When it came to negotiating the price, Walid briefly spoke with his manager, Amal Adnan, only once. I had heard stories of marathon back and forth haggling at car dealerships, but the sales manager offered a more than fair price, in my opinion. So far, I am enjoying my Lexus tremendously. I had to take the car back once when the low pressure warning light came on just days after purchasing the car. The service manager discovered that the mechanic who serviced my car when it was traded in had failed to reset the light after he replaced some of the tires. It took all of 5 minutes to fix and fortunately I do not live far from the dealership. I would definitely go to Lexus of Silver Spring again to purchase a car (ask for Walid). Hopefully, my experience with the service department will be a good one as well.

I bought my car Oct. 2008 and have had issues ever since, I initially wanted to buy the car retail but since they tried to sale the car to me with a ridiculous car note the bank decided to have me least the car first. I was told to make a payment of a certain amount from the 2nd financial clerk I dealt with and found out 2 months later that I was deliquent on a payment the paperwork was incorrect, it took me 1 sales manager, Ms. Tammy Darvish, and the store manager to come with the idea of a deferment of payment. I received late and they were incorrect in the midst of that my credit score was accruing late notices. Mr. Amar (store manager) blew me off and eventually I guess got frustrated with me and just told me to sign the incorrect documents and send them back. I did no such thing I paid the missing payment eventually and called LFS about the late notice on the account, they informed me that I have (8) 30 day late notices on my account. I was informed of the number of times that Mr. Amar called on this particualar situation, which I knew he only called twice. I have annotated each time I have spoken to him and what he said his plan action was going to be. I called him twice in Jan. 2010 and received his voicemail and have received no feedback from him. LFS told me that they need a letter from the dealership to clear the late notices on my account and the late charge. I am dealing with a military lawyer at this point (I am in the Army) over a year and I am still be annoyed by their lack of customer service and error on their part. If it were there credit being in jeopardy Im pretty sure the reaction would be different. I am also requesting that the Lexus of Silver Spring be put on the military blotter to be blackballed. This is unaccepatable that I have endured this and by a luxury car dealership, I have had harassing calls at home and my workplace due to this.

I brought my car in to repair what they didn't do right the previous visit, plus I needed to have the annoying low tire pressure warning turned off. AS I have MS, I couldn't stay long. AS I never talked about servicing the car, I overlooked the fact that they added a service to my visit. I had the oil changed and serviced at 10 K. the car had 14.7 K. I called Lexus and verified that all I needed to do to keep my warranty in effect was an oil change at 10 K, which I had done. I also had all the fluids checked. In my hurry to get home, I overlooked? that they had added a full service to the visit, which I didn't need. When we argued about it the asst mngr finally agreed to split the $196 expense with me, which took an hour to happen. What I got was a $100 credit at the dealership, not what I was promised. I have filed complaints with the ADA and my credit card. Beware, they are dishonest and thieves.

The dealership were nice to talk to intially but when deal came in papers, they gave me a higer price for the vehicle and on top of that, the worst part - they cheated on papers, told me they are charging certain interest of credit for the new purchase but on papers, THEY USED A HIGER PERCENTAGE THAN WHAT THEY TOLD to calculate my monthly installments. Even after few days later when I did calculations myself and went to the dealer, initially they refused to admit that they have used a higer percentage but when I did mathemateical caalculations in front of them they admitted they have used higher percentage but also told deal is done and they wont do anything. very rude and unfriendly atmosphere and after yr deal is done, nobody wants to talk to adress issues, make faces while you are there - never buy it from them - worth tarvel those extra miles to look for good dealer.

This is my first experience with buying a Lexus and I found it to be the most pleasant experience I've ever had with an automobile dealer in my 40+ years of car buying. The salesman was very straightforward with his answers, showed me exactly what I wanted, and knew his product through and through. Inside the dealership, every other employee was friendly, courteous and helpful for the entire duration of the purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership and this salesperson if you are looking for a new or used Lexus. You won't regret it one bit!

Experienced both sales and service at this dealership, both of which are botched by poor management. Totally undeserving of the Elite of Lexus Award.As for sales, I had ordered a car from them right at the end of the model year at a point where they would be unable to re-order the same car (a pretty rare color combo) without waiting until the next year (would gave cost me $3,000 more). Well, you guessed it, they ordered the wrong color. Contacted another dealer, Lexus of Annapolis, who had the car in stock so I bought it from them. Talk about an inexcusable mistake...As for service, I originally brought the car there because their service was significantly cheaper than other dealers. Within 20,000 miles they damaged the car twice, once by washing it improperly and the second time by backing it into something and then trying to hide it. The first time I got a detailing credit which was fine, the second time I was treated like a theif by the service manager there as he attempted to refuse to allow me to have the car repaired at my own shop (if they can't wash it or park it without messing it up, why would I let them paint it) and ultimately refused to compensate me until after I had come out of pocket for the repair I decided that they weren't worth my $100 an hour anymore. I use Lexus of Rockville for service now and am very pleased.Service advisors at SilverSpring were friendly and trustworthy, but they can't help the poor management.
