Excellent buying experience at Liberty Mazda. Our salesperson, Paul, was very helpful and knowledgeable which helped us make our purchasing decision. Paul went above and beyond explaining all the features of the car, inviting us to come back in a week after purchase with questions and even setting up our first oil change. All the employees we encountered during our experience were friendly, helpful and professional. We really appreciated the low pressure experience. Very positive experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Liberty Mazda for a buying experience that far exceeded our expectations.

From the moment I walked into the show room everybody was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction. I especially would like to thank Mr. James Atkins the general manager, and John Frederick who was my salesman, for guiding me through the process without a hitch. I greatly appreciate their guidance and concern, that I was happy and received the vehicle that I wanted. I would definitely refer friends and family to Liberty Mazda, and I will be returning in the future. Thank you again for a great experience, Deborah A.

I've been going to Liberty Mazda for all my oil changes and other car maintenance services and they always do a great job. Other day I went in for my 60k mile major service that would take 3~4 hours and I was able to get a complimentary car rental during that time instead of waiting around the dealership. Fast check in, efficient, and fair prices for car maintenance needs.

Jim Samson, and in fact all the employees there, made us feel at home and that our business was really appreciated. They went the extra mile (pun intended; they made a trade with another dealer) to get us the exact car we wanted. It's beautiful and we're excited to be starting a long relationship with Mazda, with Liberty Mazda and with Jim for future sales.

Bought a Mazda CX-5 from Jim and I enjoyed my experience with him! Funny enough, he remembered me from his former dealership and I think that show how much he cares about each of his clients! He truly made the buying process easy, enjoyable, and personal for me! Jim was honest and realistic with me throughout the process and I drove home with a car that I wanted for a price that I wanted. The time spent while the numbers were being crunched was the best part of the experience. Jim has lots of life experience and was willing to share it with me. We talked about my life, his life, my past relationships, his past relationships, and so much more! When my friends look for a new car, I'll be sending towards Jim! He's worth it!

Dealer was super pushy when I was shopping for my Mazda CX-3 and when I bought it they gave me the hard sell on the useless extra protection plans, then tried to guilt me when I didn't buy them. Also they screwed up the wheel lock installation and I had to got back another weekend to get them installed. They offer a free service appointment to make up for it, but then reneged when I went to actually make the appointment.Terrible terrible terrible.

Just bought my first Mazda - a Certified Preowned 2015 CX5 Grand Touring - and this was my first visit to this dealership. Didn't know what to expect since I'd just had a bad experience at a dealership on the south shore that didn't want to make an honest deal. Not here! Robert Everett was very non-pressure and a short time after the test drive, we agreed on a fair price and a fair trade for my car. I just took delivery and he made sure everything got done as quickly as possible to limit my time at the dealership. He walked me through all the bells and whistles of my new zoom zoom and I couldn't be happier with the vehicle. Thanks Robert for a refreshing experience - it was well worth the drive to Wakefield!

Leased a CX-3 GT and a CX-5 Touring. Had a special family situation that was handled with graciousness and good deals! SHOUT OUT TO MIKE C. AND JONATHAN F. for your understanding and professional skills in helping us select the cars that we really needed for our family and the very fair leasing prices that went along with them. Your professionalism, comprehension of the families' situation, latitude in time frames for explaining the leasing process "ins and outs," transparency in helping us know what we were paying for, knowledge of cars, time spent with us in selecting the cars and packages, explanations of how the car ran and all the "do-dads" of the Nav system etc. etc., your follow through with the satisfaction of the cars leased...all really exemplary in terms attitude and kindness. LOVE the cars! A big "Thank You" to Patty and the telephone operators that handled so many of our calls with good humor and aplomb, and a huge thank you to anyone else on staff who helped Bob and Learra lease their cars. Thanks so much! The Hall Fam!

I just wanted to write a quick review of Liberty Mazda and my experience there. We had excellent and responsive service from Jim Samson, their internet sales manager. We ended up leasing a different brand of vehicle, but I would not hesitate to reach out to Jim and Liberty for future car buying experience. Jim even exchanged a couple emails with me around midnight on a Saturday, you just cant find that kind of support any more.

I just purchased my very first car at Liberty Mazda. After 4 weeks of research and test-driving at other dealerships, I decided to commit my business to Liberty because they offered the best customer service. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they did not offer to give me a ride to/from the site, which I received from other dealerships (since I didn't have a car to begin with). Outside of this, Jim Samson and Chris Gannett were great people to work with. I felt rather comfortable in a high-stress situation.

Jim was the first salesperson that I met with when I decided to buy a Mazda. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. To feel like I made the right decision, I also went to several other dealerships in the area to see what they had to offer. I ended up going back to Liberty Mazda to speak with Jim again. Not only was he the nicest salesman I met, but Liberty Mazda also had several CX-5 models that fit exactly what I was looking for. Jim was able to answer all of my questions, made me feel confident about my purchase, and was able to get me a great deal for the car and trade-in! Everyone I spoke with at Liberty Mazda was very friendly and so far I am in love with the car! I highly recommend meeting with Jim at Liberty Mazda if you are interested in joining the Mazda family as I did.

First off, call in before you go down and ask if you can work with Paul. We just went in today so my girlfriend could get a new Mazda and Paul was awesome. Very easy going, he knew his stuff and helped make the process very easy. She has bought a few vehicles from him. This was my first time meeting him and I see why she wanted to go back. The whole process was very smooth, from picking out the car to agreeing on a price then getting the paperwork handled in a timely fashion. You're going to get an extremely fair and reasonable deal working with him. Maybe it's because he's from New Hampshire and people seem to be much nicer in New Hampshire than us Massholes ;-).

He had great positive energy and was very knowledgeable, and he took the time to answer all our questions as our minds were not set on which car to buy, we had it narrowed down to either a Mazda CX5 or Honda CRV. My last six cars were Lexus SUV's, and I worked with the same dealership and salesman for over 25 years, but I recently retired and needed to be more cost conscious. After doing some research, I decided the Mazda CX-5 was my best option, but I was nervous going to a new dealership and working with a new sales consultant. As soon as my wife and I walked into Liberty Mazda, I was greeted by Jim Samson with a warm smile and friendly greeting. Jim put me at ease immediately. He listened, asked good questions, showed real interest and understood our wants and limitations. He allowed my wife and I plenty of time to test drive the CX-5 and get comfortable with the car. We feel in love with the ride and the car. Much more fun to drive than the Lexus. Jim put no pressure on us and got us a good deal from my perspective. I have since found the service department to be very consumer-oriented and helpful and would highly recommend Jim and Liberty Mazda.

I came to Mazda not really knowing what I wanted and I worked Robert to narrow down exactly how much I could afford and the type of car I was looking for. At the time, they did not have a car for me so I thought that was it, I was not going to find a car at Mazda. To my surprise, Robert called me and said he had a car he thought I would like and could afford. I had been to 4 other dealerships and he was the ONLY salesperson who called me back. I ended up LOVING the car, so I purchased it and couldn't be happier. He was a great person to work with and he actually listened to me and ultimately that is why I bought a car from him & Mazda. Robert and the team made the process very easy. Thank you very much!!

I had Brooke as a salesperson and she was extremely patient and friendly! I came in with my 2006 Mazda 3, wanting to lease a new Mazda CX-5 back in May and Brooke was very knowledgable and not pushy at all. I was in a bad financial situation in my Mazda 3 and needed to roll over some negative equity into my new lease. I went over all the numbers with brooke and her manager, and in the end it didn't make sense for me to purchase at that time. I recently just went back last week because I really liked the CX-5 and the customer service at Liberty Mazda, and was now in a better position to lease. I went in with exactly which one I wanted and Brooke helped me secure it and I worked with their finance manager and wrote up the papers that day. I have the car now and I really enjoy it! It's fun to drive, has all wheel drive for the winter and has all the space I need! Overall great service and great product!

After 12 years of driving an Infinity G35X that was chronically in the shop, I spent time researching the top rated crossover SUV's. I chose the Mazda 2016 CX-5 AWD Grand Touring model in red. The options were great for that type of vehicle, the car is sporty and very attractive, with surprisingly good performance. My sales person, Michael Romano met my partner, and me on the dealer floor as I was admiring the red CX-5 & I pretty much said to him that I want this car. We made a deal and all the paperwork was over within an hour. The next day I picked up the car, washed, shiny with a full tank of gas. There's a ton of technology in this particular model - Mike ran me through the basics showing me the most common functions before hitting the road. He was very helpful through this process. I chose Liberty Mazda because of its great customer reviews and of my partner's positive experience when he was considering a Mazda.

I recently brought my 2011 Mazda CX9 in for a repair which I thought wouldn't be covered because I was over the miles for my Powertrain warranty. In speaking with the Tom Robinson (Service Advisor) he advised me to bring it in. Mazda has recently extended the warranty on the Transfer Case because of some issues. The repair was covered and Tom was excellent to deal with really listened to my concerns. When we decided to downsize to one car, we knew we needed one that would be fun to drive, good on gas, loaded, and sporty. I know a lot about cars but had never had a Mazda. i knew I wanted a new Mazda 6 and Mike was so knowledgeable and accommodating. He let us take the car for as long as we wanted, and then helped us to make the purchase almost effortlessly. We wanted red, and he located it for us and made sure it was in perfect condition even though it had to be driven quite a distance from another dealer. He made sure we understood all of the car's features and electronics and even came to our house one morning to personally install the luggage net for the trunk! We've called a few times with questions about the GPS and other things and he is always there for us with the answer. We've recommended him to friends, and look forward to working with him again.

Bought the 3rd car in this location. Having experienced other car dealers in the past; this is a good location.Sales: Bought it with a corporate plan; but regardless; their starting price was very adequate; close to the invoice price. Their trade-in offer was very favorable.Always remember that the price being negotiated doesn't include taxes; rates and other administrative fees. That's where negotiations with finance office come in; and where there's always room for negotiation on dealer-installed accessories; warranties; etc. This process might get inexperienced buyers caught by surprise; but it is how it's done everywhere; and this dealership made is short and very reasonable.Service: In about nine years of taking the car there; Rarely had issues with the service. They're knowledgeable and helpful. The prices seems reasonable for dealer services. Local mechanics are sometimes cheaper; but dealers in general use original parts. Had maintenance; repair; bodywork and warranty done here and it was done properly the 1st time. Note that while some OEM parts can be bought from internet dealers at a discount; you generally end up paying close to retail prices when you need it the same day.The showroom is small; so waiting areas can get crowded; but the location is convenient in my case.

Al Blank provided an excellent experience from start to finish and is one of the main reasons I bought from this dealership, the two weeks prior on a Saturday, me and my wife just walked in to test drive a CX-5 and we were greeted by Al Blank, and with a friendly smile said no problem, We test drove the car as he explained all the features of the car to us, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. In the end we walked away to think about it, and he just said come back when youre ready, no sales pressure. A week later he remembered me and my wife and we purchased a new CX-5 with ease. Al Blank and Matthew Houlihan the finance director made the whole processes seamless. The whole Liberty team is friendly and I would recommend to others.

Then I met Al and Matt. I was honest about my situation and they both told me, "we will make this happen for you". Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, everywhere else I went that I left with the same car I came in. Needless to say, I'm writing this because they DID keep their word And made it happen in the price range I was comfortable with. Can't believe I'm now driving my Honda cx-9 and couldn't be happier! I went in for service for the first time and let me just say I circled the building 2 TIMES until I finally decided to park and go inside and speak to someone. No one was kind enough to come outside and tell me the procedure. I stood there for about 10 minutes until I was greeted. The guys was talking about sports and the girl behind the desk, maybe cashier was on the phone. Finally I was acknowledged and helped. I was quoted " a little over an hour," it took them 2 hours to tell me what was wrong. My left outer tie rod end needed to get replaced and aligned. I was told that it was unsafe to drive. Therefore I had them do the repairs for my car. About $250.00 and 3 hours later my car was finished. When I got home I looked through my old paperwork and found that I had my right outer tie rod end replaced at another mazda dealership and found they only charged me $50 for labor where liberty charged me $105!!! I thought ALL mazda dealerships had the same RATES???When I called I was told different! This dealership is like a hot dog stand compared to Ira Mazda that closed down. Even worse, when I called around to ask for others opinions 2 out of 3 garages told me that outer tie rod ends is not a safety issue. I FELT I WAS LIED TO, RIPPED OFF, AND INSULTED. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO LIBERTY FOR SERVICE. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT IS IN SALES, BUT I WILL NEVER FIND OUT. I AM TRULY DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE. I had reviewed several mid size sedans and went to Liberty to test drive the car that I had identified. Mike Romano met us, my wife and me, when we entered the showroom. He was very friendly, asked what we were looking for and took us out to the lot to see the exact car I asked about. He was very professional and answered all the questions we had about the car. He had his manager come over to meet us and offered to give us a price for leasing the car. When I told him that this was the first car I had seen and that I would not make a decision that day, they were very polite and didn't push us to close the deal.Mike called the next day and I told him that I wouldn't make a decision for about a week. He asked when he could call and I told him the day. I returned to the dealer unannounced to take a second test drive. Mike's manager recognized me and asked how he could help. When I told him I wanted to drive the car again, he found Mike and after the drive, I decided to try and make a deal I had done a lot of research on the internet and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. After a brief discussion, we agreed to a price and the value for my trade. I think I got a fair deal.Mike then worked hard to get my insurance and registration. Overall, I think Mike did an excellent job.

The only glitch in the process was with my insurance company, but Chuck worked with them to resolve the issue and I picked-up my car as scheduled. Overall, exceptional experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership.

This dealership sold me a vehicle which I only just learned should not have passed the Mazda Certified-Pre Owned Inspection. The car was sold to me with a dent in the back bumper (which, of course, I did not notice until I signed the paperwork) and mismatched paint touch-ups, amongst other issues. They are now denying that they had sold it to me in such a condition, despite the fact that I have photos from when I bought it, as well as written documentation from the dealership regarding the issue. Absolutely appalling that they would be dishonest in their inspection of this vehicle just to label it as Certified and get the extra money out of someone who was in need of a new vehicle after being rear ended. This all happened under the old GM, I assume but the new GM has been the person denying any of this happened (despite all of my evidence to the contrary). Do not waste your time or money at this dealership. They are truly predatory sales people.

Came in to test drive a used Mazda 3 as part of a multi-dealer test drive extravaganza. After finishing our drive, Robert asked what we were planning to try next; it turned out they had a used Honda Fit that had just come in. And by just come in, it was covered in dog hair and still had those family stick figures (two adults, two kids, two dogs... I hope they got a van). But we drove it, liked it, and bought it.The service guys did a great job cleaning up the car for us to pickup, and Rob was laid back, personable, and easy to work with.

We agreed on a price so I'd sign the deal that day, the car sales man neglected to inform me the didnt have the title to the vehicle yet so I had to wait about a week to actually buy the car. When quoted on a price they also neglected to inform me that said quoted price was based on a credit score I did not have. Monthly payment ended up being higher than what was agreed upon. They registered the car and ALSO neglected to place a valid registration sticker on my rear plate, said it was up to me to go to the registry to get said sticker after I called the dealership after I received several parking tickets for "invalid plate registration". Unfortunately due to time constraints with getting time off work and with my insurance only being able to cover the rental I had for a certain period of time, I was forced to go through with that deal. Even though I am inlove with the car I purchased, I am completely unhappy with the employees and service I have received.

Working with Mike at Liberty Mazda was a pleasure! This was my first time leasing a car for myself and I found Mike to be incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and kind! We were on a rather short timeline to move ahead with this deal and when I entered the store after speaking with Mike briefly on the phone we got straight to business. This was much appreciated after dealing with other sales folk in various other dealerships! Mike was courteous yet also serious in tone and it was clear that he wanted a sale (it was the memorial day sale weekend after all)! Given this, he was very accommodating and managed to find me the exact color combo (black on black) of the Mazda Cx5 Touring and get me a decent price on my monthly payments that I was happy with! When the sale was complete, he walked me over all the details of the car - all the little buttons that I didn't know how to use and helped me to set up the bluetooth. I appreciated his to the point and fun mannerisms and for giving me so much of his time over the busy weekend. I love my new car! Thanks Mike!

I went to Liberty Mazda to test drive a new 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring. I went in knowing that I wanted the car, so as long as the test drive went well, I was going to buy it. Before I could even get to the door of the dealership, a salesman spotted me and walked right over to the door. He asked what I was there to look at, looked over my shoulder and saw the vehicle I cam in (Ford F-150) and immediately asked if I would be trading that in / did I have the registration on me. I told him all I wanted to do was test drive a CX-5 Grand Touring (preferably Gray, since that was the color I wanted). We wandered around the parking lot for about 10 minutes, all while he was asking me what part of the buying process I was in and (since I already wasn't a fan of him) I said I'm still doing research and should be buying in about 1-2 months. He then tried to pressure me into buying a car that day since, "the deals will be the same, so there is no point in waiting". I continuously told him I was just looking to test drive a car, and then he proceeded to look at my girlfriend who was with me and ask if she was also interested in buying a car that day. He finally found a Grand Touring even though it wasn't the color I wanted, which at this point I didn't care. We get in the car and go for a test drive. He asked me what I did for work and made about 3 minutes of small talk, then proceeded to turn the radio on and play with it (although he put on music that I liked, which is bad that the music was the highlight of the test drive). He never, not even ONCE, told me anything about the car. NOTHING. He just sat and listened to the radio / continued to pressure me into buying a car that day. At one point, he even asked if I was interested in buying a CX-5 that was used as a demo and had around 5,000 miles on it, so that way I could save some money. I once again had to tell him I wasn't interested in buying a car that day and wanted nothing more than to test drive one. He also said that I shouldn't expect much on a trade in for my truck since it's a gas guzzler. To say that he had done everything in his power to get me to not buy a car from him or his dealership is a drastic understatement. Once we returned to the dealership after maybe a 10 minute test drive (we went one exit down the highway, then came back to the dealership), he again asked if I wanted to buy the car I test drove that day. I (for about the 10th time) said no, not interested. He then said that we could go back inside, so the three of us proceeded into the dealership. He had me and my girlfriend sit down and talk to his manager (no matter how many times I said I was only there to test drive a car and nothing more) about pricing out a car, down payment, and monthly payments. The manager (couldn't tell you his name because I was so completely turned off by Mike at this point) sat down and asked how much I'd put down and what I want my monthly payments to be. I again said the same line I told Mike about a dozen times. The manager asked what else I was test driving, so I said a Toyota RAV 4. He then responded with "well it's good you started with the best, since every other car you test drive will be down hill from here, but I'll let you figure that out for yourself". The manager asked for my phone number and I rattled it off without even thinking. Mike then went to get me a business card and he didn't even have any. He gave me a business card with someone else's name on it that he scribbled out and wrote his name above. Needless to say, I threw out the business card once I got home (after ranting the whole way home about how incredibly pushy and rude I felt Mike was). He then proceeded to call me the next day asking when I was coming back to trade in my truck and buy a CX-5 from him. I never returned the call because he had annoyed me so much that I knew I would be extremely blunt with him and probably end up yelling at him if I answered the phone, which is also why I decided not to blow up at him for asking me 15,000 times (exaggerated for dramatic effect) if I wanted to buy a car that day or some other car he could get me into that day. Over the next 3 weeks, Mike called me about 10-12 times and left messages each time. If I don't call you back, there's a reason for it. I ended up going to a different dealership (Quirk Mazda) and they treated me like a person. I didn't want much from the dealership, just don't pressure me, but make me feel like I matter and the sale is yours. That's it. Not that difficult. But apparently Mike thought that doing all of the wrong things would get him the sale. I'm happy I went somewhere else, somewhere that treated me like I mattered. The sale process was quick and easy and they've always been super quick returning emails or phone calls. Again, it doesn't take much for me to buy a car from you, just don't pressure me what so ever.Anyway, I'll close up my Mike and Liberty Mazda saga with this.I would never recommend Liberty Mazda to anyone. I'm sure people have gone there and had a nice salesperson who treated them well and I acknowledge that everyone has different experiences during the car buying process. But given my experience, there is nothing that would convince me to go there for a car or recommend someone go there (unless they were giving cars away; but let's face it, that'll never happen anywhere). If you do go there, stay as far away from Mike Romano as possible. He does a great job of turning customers off with excessive pushiness, not listening to a word you say, not telling you about the car you're interested in, constant phone calls, and driving customers away from the dealership (no pun intended) in the cars they came there in (that one was intended). Completely unrelated to Mike or Liberty Mazda, but do your research before going to a dealership. At least then you have some good background info on the car you're interested in and it may make the whole process a little easier. Hopefully this review helps and if it doesn't, then hey, at least you didn't buy a car from a salesperson / dealership that treated you like crap. Have some respect for yourself, don't put up with that.

Working with Rob at Liberty Mazda was a breath of fresh air compared to my experience at other dealerships. Rob is laid back, calm, polite, and knowledgeable. After the test drive, he walked me through all sorts of options, and let me play around with some of the higher-trim options. When it came time to discuss numbers, he didn't pressure me or attempt the hard-sell. After sleeping on it for a few days, I decided that I liked what Mazda had to offer and to move ahead with the purchase. Rob was great when I called him on the phone with follow-up questions, and when he couldn't immediately answer every question I had, Mike the sales manager followed-up with me shortly thereafter. The only criticism I have to offer is that the numbers and calculations behind lease or financing deals can be a little complicated, and the folks selling them could be a little more adept at explaining how the calculations work and how the final numbers are arrived at. I know numbers aren't everyone's bag, but even the sales manager was having difficulty explaining to me how the monthly payments on my lease could remain the same when the purchase price changed (answer: The "residual" was also changing to match). In the grand scheme of things, though, this is a minor criticism.Overall, I had a great experience purchasing a new car from Liberty Mazda, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you work with Rob if he's available. Thanks, Rob! I'm loving my new car :-)

Leasing a new car was fine. However, when it came to buying a 10 year old Mazda 3 for our 16 year old, I wish I hadn't. So, this will be strictly about the used car experience.First, they illegally sold it to us without a title. They were trying to play the "check float" came. We bought it on a Sunday (it had come in 2 days earlier) in conjunction with a new Mazda and since it needed some work, we were told it'd be ready that Saturday. It wasn't. The paint had to dry. So, I called on Monday and was told the Title wasn't in and the GM, Joe B., said he incorrectly assumed that the owner didn't have a loan against it as it was a 10 year old car. So, now the car was done but we had to wait for the Title to go to the RMV then back out to the dealership.Second illegal move, they didn't tell us it was in an accident. Three times I asked for the Carfax. First time, they didn't have it. Second, they said it had 2 previous owners but Mike, our salesperson, couldn't get the Carfax because Joe had it and Joe wasn't in. SO, I paid $40 myself and found out this piece of news. A side impact, no airbag deployment, fixed at a Mazda dealership. I can now see where the point of impact was as they just 'banged' the dents out of the back passenger door. (Third time was later in this experience.)Three weeks after we bought it, I got the call it was ready and they practically forced themselves on me to accept it that day. It was driven to us by our salesman, Mike M. who was great. However, it didn't have an inspection sticker, because it was too late in the day and per MA laws, they can't put the stickers on after 3pm or something. Now, everything was dumped in OUR lap. Things weren't done to the car that we asked, the sticker wasn't on so we had to drive it back, which we did 2 days later only to find out we didn't drive it ENOUGH as the battery had been taken out and all the info they use for inspection wasn't there. So, my son and husband had to waste gas and drive for 20 min to get the sticker, which they did.We had to take it back for them to finish what they should have done in the 3 weeks that they had it (fix rust, new wiper blades, rattling under the car, some fabric on the door, foggy headlight case.) My husband takes it in and complains that he just noticed the brakes are making noise, so we get new rotors on the back. They fix the rattling heat shield, give us new wipers but the rust, the fabric and the headlight aren't fixed. So, my husband takes it back and complains to the new GM who assures us he'll take care of it and call us this week.(Meanwhile, before we took it in, the car would beep inside the cabin when we'd take the key out of the ignition. This happenedtwice and we had to start it, stop it then take the key out to get the beeping to stop. It also set off the panic alarm just by opening the door. Twice this happened, but not in conjunction with each other.)The GM contacted us the night of April 3rd and we made an appointment to bring it into the shop that Saturday. After creating a list of the issues, including the alarm issue which was happening every time we tried to get in the car, we were told it most likely would not be completed that day and we'd need a loaner car. I informed them we didn't need it, as my son would not be allowed to drive it, but they insisted. Also, I informed the GM, Chris, about how the Mazda had been in an accident and we were not made aware. He said they don't use CARFAX but use AUTOCHECK and it probably didn't appear on there. (Today, I paid $29.99 for an AUTOCHECK report and the accident is indeed on there.) Saturday afternoon Service calls us and says that the rust has been taken care of but the ignition switch is bad and we'll have to wait for the part to come in, which will be Tues or Wed. So, we have a loaner car until then, but it's not being used. We pick up the car on Tuesday and the rust is taken care of and the car alarm didn't go off when I unlocked it. They refused to clean the foggy headlight capsule saying it wasn't a safety issue. However, over the weekend of April 12th, the first nice day where we could open the car windows all the way, I had a hard time getting the driver's side window to go back up. I took it in on Monday the 14th for this issue and asked them to look at the front brakes as they were making rubbing noises. The brakes are fine; just the calipers needed cleaning. However, the sales manager told the service rep that the window switch couldn't be replaced under the warranty because it had run out. I said it hadn't; we have a 60 day warranty and even if it was 30 days, we hadn't had it in our possession that long. I was transferred to the Sales Manager, Mike, and he was not in. So, in the past 2 hours have left 3 messages. No response. This company seems to want to do the bare minimum to get you out of their hair. They don't' understand their own rules and are NOT putting the customer first. I even asked for a refund before it went in for the alarm issue and was told, "No." That's all I want. They sold it to us illegally and failed to disclose an accident and they are not worried. I have a complaint on file with the BBB, a complaint via Angie's List, filed an Auto Dealer Complaint Form, commented on Twitter and their Facebook page, called the dealer owner to no avail, have a letter to Mazda Customer Service in CA ready to go. I have done everything I can to get the action we want and all they do is try to fix it, but can't do that correctly the first time. We should not have to take a car into the shop for work about 6 times since March 22nd. I now have a call into a lawyer.

We will never consider buying a car from Liberty Mazda! While researching mid-size SUVs we went in to test drive a CX5. The Manager had to yell at Mike the salesman twice to come help us. Finally we started the test drive (which lasted 5 minutes) and Mike asked what phase of the process we were in. I explained we were only doing research and had no intention of buying the car that day because we needed our tax returns for the down payment. He then spent the test drive pressuring me to put the down payment on my credit card. When we got back to the dealership he didn't remember mine or my husbands name! Then he started the "what can I do to make you buy this car today" talk and even tried to get us to by a used CX7. It was if he wasn't listening to a word we were saying. I explained I really like the car and that we expected to have the down payment in 2 weeks and we'd come back. Mike then called me the next day to "check in". I again told him the IRS website projected returns to be received within two weeks and to call me back then. He said no problem...yet he proceeded to call me every other day so the next two weeks. I ended up buying a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (which is awesome!!!) and when I finally answered Mike's umpteenth call to tell him he had the nerve be upset that I hadn't consulted him and tried to make me feel bad! When I called the other two dealerships I'd test driven cars at to let them know we'd gone another way they said "okay thank you, good luck". This guy was a jerk! We plan to get a Mazda 3 next year to replace my husband's car and we are not going here!

This was by far the best experience I have had purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. Mike Romano made it even easier just by being accessible for me. He picked up the phone every time I called and was able to answer any questions I had. I walked in on a Sunday night and was attended to right away by Mike. He let me experience all the vehicles I was interested in and allowed me to sit in a few and test drive the one of my choice. Also, it took less than an hour for all of this be complete including all the paperwork. I was able to pick up my new car the following evening after work. This car looked sharp. Mike got the registration and inspection all set for me so I didn't have to go sit at the RMV for an entire day. He even was able to take care of my old license plates. I could not recommend this dealership with any higher of a rating. This was a great place and everyone has your best interest in mind. Go and see Liberty, they will take care of you there!

I just picked up my new car before the new year and I couldn't have had a better feeling making my way into 2014. Started out shopping at Liberty Mazda, and ended up buying there. Just from the feeling I got on my very first visit there is what made me go back. Very laid back, thoughtful, interested, funny group over there!! I had a good time buying my car! Not just a pleasant purchase, but fun. I have never been to a dealer where everyone had been so nice and all seemed to be on the same page. Every time I walked by an employees I was asked if I was being attended to. It's a good feeling knowing that I was paid attention to. It's not always easy buying a car alone. Let alone for a female walking into a "Lions Den" so to speak. The rap of the old car dealers is gone. That was ears ago. Every dealer could learn a few things from Liberty Mazda and their staff. Best dealer around.

I was reccommended to Liberty by two friends of mine and so I decided I would go and check it out. My experience with Liberty was very good overall. Chuck was helpful when I first came to the dealership, answered questions about the car of interest and took me on a thorough test drive. The dealership was attentive to reviewing my trade while we were on the drive and were prepared with an estimated value when we returned. The sale price of the car was fair and like anyone, I would have preferred more for my trade, but the deal overall was satisfactory and I am very happy with the car.

I recently purchesed a use vehicle from liberty mazda and found there sales department is one if not the best that i have delt with. My salesmen was rob everett who was excelent . He went over the vehicle with me several times to make sure it was the exact vehicle i was looking for. When i was set on buying it he brought me in to see the finance manager (joe t) i was alittle nervous due to not having he best credit, but joe told me not to worry he would get a loan for me, which he did in no time. Not only did joe t get me financed but the intrest rate was VERY low! Then when i was getting ready 2 sign the loan the general manager came in to introduce himself ( joe b) he was very friendly and actually sat down and went through the vehicle safety check and car fax wih me! I was shocked to say the least at how unbelievably friendly and easy they were to work with! I had my vehicle in a matter of hours. Liberty will be my first stop when i am looking for my next car!!!

Stay as far away from this dealership as possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This man was rude, pushy and unprofessional. Not to mention he talked down to me, suggested i was stupid and incapable of understanding buying a car as well as screaming at me in the middle of the showroom!!!!!!!!!!! I was absolutely horrified!!!! what kind of person treats someone like this. The test drive was 5 minutes long and no highway. At the end of the conversation he just walked away from me saying nothing throwing his arms up ion the air. When i called to complain to the manager they said nothing was done wrong that is how they do business. This dealership is the worst i have ever been too. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!!!!!! Woman BEWARE!!!!The LIBERTY Dealerships are owned by the KNOPF FAMILY.DO NOT, DO NOT buy ANYTHING from them. Why??? Because in any company or household INTEGRITY, PROFESSOINALISM and Respect are the core belief's in which we work and live by. The KNOPF Family was OK with selling my wife a PRE-CERTIFIED MAZDA CX9 for approx 30K dollars, but when it came to them ensuring the vechicle was SAFE well that was a different story. The vehicle was unsafe, in fact having break issues and tire problems. When they were approached and given the opportunity to make the vehichle safer they chose to deflect, blame and in fact continue to jeopordize my family's safety. The KNOPF FAMILY acknowledged the issues and instead of fixing the issues they opted to try to bill us for their issues. Apparently SAFETY is not a concern of theirs. Folks look at the other reviews, this a pattern. Woman should not be taken adavantage of and your family's safety should be NUMBER 1. The KNOPF FAMILY should step up, where is their INTEGRITY and PROFESSIONALISM, where is there soul. This experience would NEVER happen at any of HERB CHAMBERS DEALERSHIPS. Herb cares about your safety and appreciate his customers. HERB understands that you want to build a realationship with your customers not put them in harms away. I want an owner like Herb, he has INTEGRITY. I could go on with names of staff but the bottom line starts and stops with the KNOPF FAMILY. Be safe everyone.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!When I began my internet car search I found a low-mileage, one owner vehicle at Liberty Mazda. It had taken me weeks to find this perfect car. I was quite skeptical about conducting a long-distance business transaction with this dealership but the salesman, Chuck assured me it would be fine. Due to family obligations, I was unable to drive the 8 hours to Massachusetts to see the vehicle for a few weeks. Per Michael Consoles' request - I immediately Fed'Ex'd a "Good Faith Deposit" to hold said car until I could arrive to inspect and purchase the vehicle. About a week prior to my arrival I was pressured to sign the FIRST PAGE of a Purchase and Sales Agreement for the vehicle. This document also made me liable for monetary losses to the dealership should I not take delivery of the vehicle. I refused to sign the document and assured Chuck I would be there in one week to buy the car. The dealership then cashed my deposit check, so I thought we were fine. I was excited now to take a "road trip" 8 hours away to buy my car. About 6 days prior to leaving I received a call from the dealership informing me they had sold the car. Joe told my husband it was because they did not have a signed Purchase and Sales Agreement. I inquired "but you cashed my deposit check - isn't that acknowledgement that you would hold the car until I arrived?". APPARENTLY NOT!!! I was shocked and angry. I now had a car loan with no car!!! The dealership ignored cals and e-mails to FedEx my deposit monies. It took them two weeks via USPS to forward my check. I would NEVER, EVER, EVER recommend doing business with these people BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been by far the worst car buying experience of my life. I will spend as much effort as I can warning potential customers away from this lying, cheating dealer. This dealer blatantly misrepresented the car as "impeccable", containing features which it never had and claiming that it has never suffered any accident damage. None of these proved to be true, but it was "too late" before I found out.I reviewed the car over the internet and asked lots of questions of the representative before entering into negotiations - as I was purchasing from out of state. I repeatedly emphasized the importance of honesty on both our parts throughout the engagement. I was repeatedly assured on the phone and via email that this car was perfect. I submitted a credit card deposit and signed purchase contracts by fax. When I arrived to I was rushed into signing all the purchase documents - claiming that the car was being prepped for delivery. After I delivered the certified check for the balance, I went out to see the car.It had been hit twice in the rear and painted with touch up paint (the wrong color). When I escalated this issue, they offered to have "Dent Wizard" try to repair it - which failed miserably.I was never given the opportunity to talk to management about it and the representative repeatedly said "I've done all we can do. You should have looked at the car first."These people are liars, cheats and thieves. I have opened a Better Business Bureau complaint regarding this and am considering litigating through the Massachusetts Attorney General's Offic.

This experience was by far my worst car buying experience. I saw a Mazda3 hatchback with 95000 miles but considered it since it was within my budget. We talked and negotiated and I left saying I needed to sleep on it coz the miles were too high and next day decided to not make the deal. I had also test driven another Mazda3 Hatchback there that had 30000 miles less than the other car so I called them to inform them about my decision but also mentioned that I was interested in car with lower miles if it was possible to work on the price and bring it closer to my budget. They assured me on the phone that we could make it work and that I should come down to the dealership. I took a cab, went down there and asked them straight what would the final offer be like since my budget is so and so. They turned around flat on me saying oh I think we have a misunderstanding since we thought you wanted to pay the list price on the car which I already knew the day before was way out of my budget. I said why would I do that since I don't have that sort of budget and that was made very clear when we were negotiating on the first car. I don't understand why dealerships cannot be honest with their customers who are being completely honest. If its not possible, you can be very straight forward and let me know that its not possible to bring it close to your budget. I can accept that and we would be done. Its ridiculous to cause someone so much trouble when they are being utterly honest with you and so expect the same kind of honesty. I am definitely aware of what I can get for my budget and wouldn't keep higher expectations and wouldn't have called if I didn't think it was possible.

My wife and I shopped around different dealers and ended up a Liberty Mazda in Wakefield. From the moment we walked in the door we felt very comfortable. I liked the casual attire instead of suits. Chuck worked with us and did his best to get us in our new Mazda CX5. Chuck was a pleasure to do business with and was able to answer all the questions we had. I would recommend Chuck and this dealership for those looking for a new or used vehicle.

My experience with Liberty was very good overall. The salesman was helpful when I first came to the dealership, answered questions about the car of interest and took me on a thorough test drive. The dealership was attentive to reviewing my trade while we were on the drive and were prepared with an estimated value when we returned. The sale price of the car was fair and like anyone, I would have preferred more for my trade, but the deal overall was satisfactory and I am very happy with the car.

From my initial conversations with Chuck via email, he made me feel that he was excited to be working for Liberty Mazda and committed to getting me into a new Mazda. This didn't change after I visited the dealer and took the car for a test drive. He was friendly and easy going and was able to answer all of the questions I had. The entire experience was quick and enjoyable and there isn't really anything I would change.

I came to Liberty Mazda to purchase a used Mazda 3 and I found the whole process very comfortable. The sales staff were very nice and not pushy at all. When I found the right car for me and was ready to buy it we came to terms quickly and effortlessly. When I went in for the final approval and to do all the paperwork the only think that changed was the payment because I couldn't get approved for the special rate that I wanted. It turns out since I never pay my bills on time I couldn't get the special interest rate. They did work very hard and it took a few more days but I did finally get my car and for this I am grateful! From now on I will pay my bills and hopefully I will get my horrible credit in shape for my next car! :)

I worked with Chuck Marinaccio and a couple others since Chuck was in and out of training that day. Chuck & I had agreed on a price on a new Mazda via email the day before (he even corrected a mathematical mistake on my part that would have been in their favor!). When I got to the dealership the car was ready for me to test drive. After the drive we sat down and wrote up the contract, using the exact numbers we had agreed upon the day before. It was the easiest car buying experience I had ever had. I would highly recommend Liberty, and Chuck.

Yet another car dealer who says one thing and does another. After coming off of a bad experience with a Hyundai dealer I looked at a 2011 Mazda 6 at Liberty Mazda. The sales person I worked with was nice and took me for a test drive. I let him know there was another Mazda 6 at a different dealership that I was also interested in and he asked what deal he would need to offer me to earn my business that night. I told him, he wrote it down on paper, had me sign it, took it to his business manager, came back, shook my hand and said "congratulations". I filled out the paperwork, went back and met with the business manager who said he had all my info, would speak to the bank the next day (it was just before closing) and would call if anything went wrong. No call from them the next day about the financing, but I spoke with the sales manager to tell him I'd let my insurance company know I was trading my car in and that I'd pick the Mazda up that night. When I walked into the dealership and sat down to do the paperwork a completely different number was on the form. I explained to the business manager that the only reason I'd agreed to purchase from them was because of the deal I had been offered; otherwise I would have looked at the other car I had been interested in before making a decision. He simply said "well I don't know what this person said, but..." and tried to convince me to take the higher price. After a lot of back and forth about how I'd been brought there under false pretenses and based on a deal that was apparently a lie, he came down on the price to close to what I wanted but enough that I would've decided it wasn't worth looking at the other car. I left with out a new car!!! Why do these dealers lie?!?!

I contacted this dealer through teh Internet. They contacted me and were quite too my liking, I did not feel an anonymous threat looking to make a quick killing. They pre-qualified my loan as I compeleted the paperwork online. Even though it was an hours drive I went tehre, and never bought a car so fast! I got it that day.A lot of paperwork, but, I feel I got a great bargain, as am in the medical field and need an economical car that also will not scare off my patients. The manager even helped me transfer my belongings from my old vehicle to the new one....as I would have left 'stuff', behind. Follow=up was good, and the facility is clean and neat.

I had been looking for a Mazda CX5 for a couple of weeks. I wanted the "Sky Blue" CX5 with particular options. I went to Mazda in Lowell and they told me that they only had 2 left (which did not have the options and were not the color I wanted. They claimed that there wouldn't be anymore CX5's available until the end of June. (I went there in the beginning of May). Two weeks later, on a Saturday, I went to Ira in Danvers to look at a white model(I was going to settle for a color I didnt really want) and as I pulled up I noticed a blue one on the lot. They had just sold the blue CX5, but promised they could get me one for Monday (they said they would ship it from Maine and that I would have to put down a $2000.00 deposit). As I was sittng at the Danvers dealership, my fiance looked up the Wakefield Mazda dealership and noticed that they had two blue CX5's so he called and immediately made an appointmet. I abruptly left Ira because I knew that I could get what I had wanted all along in Wakefield. As soon as I got there I was able to view the Mazda CX5 in both the touring and the grand touring in the color I wanted. The seller, Chuck, was very genuine and kind and I left that day with the car I had wanted for three weeks!!!!! I actually decided to spend a bit more to get the luxury model :) It's pretty sad that the Wakefield dealership had the car I wanted all three weeks, but no one was willing to tell me that because they wanted to sell me a car at their own dealership. Either way, I had a fabulous experience in Wakefield and I was so happy that eventhough it was a Saturday, I was able to drive the car off the lot the day I purchased it!!! I love my new car and I'm so happy to now own a Mazda!!! It's fabulous!!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! This dealership sold me a Certified Pre-Owned, 2008 Mazda CX-7 in February of last year. I'll skip through all the details of that disappointing process and summarize:1) The day I tried to drive it off the lot, it had no inspection sticker and blue/white smoke was coming out of the tailpipes.2) Over a week later, I finally had my Mazda CX-7 with a new turbo. To appease my anger, the dealership paid my first payment, gave me all weather floor mats and delivered it to me (with almost no gas left in it)3) A month later, while cleaning my car, I found drier sheets in the filter of the ventilation system and shoved into underside of the front seats. I assume this was done in an effort to combat the cigarette odor from the previous owner... But after what I had been through with Liberty, I found it laughably typical.4) Less than six months from purchasing the vehicle, I was further surprised to find that all of my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced! It's strange because the Certified Pre-Owned inspection paperwork showed check marks on green level... Meaning new or like new, right?5) Recently, (a little over a year after purchase), the vehicle began to whine and whistle while on the highway, and it began to lose power... Then the blue/white smoke came out the back of it, and our weekend plans were again ruined by this vehicles lack of reliability because we had to have it towed away, leaving us stranded at a rest stop.6) A different dealership (Lannan Mazda in Lowell) confirmed that the turbo was again the problem, and fixed it, but the Mazda corporation refuses to do anything but replace the turbo because "the specs look fine on the engine".That seems dubious to me. What's the failure rate for Mazda turbos? I have had two of them fail on this car me in about a year, so something tells me there might be an underlying problem with the vehicle. Luckily it is still under warranty because the vehicle has ~70K miles on it. So the current work, towing, and rental will all be paid for... but I won't get any compensation for my time and frustration. I'd like to drive it back to Liberty Mazda and park it right by the highway with a giant sign saying "This lemon is from Liberty!" The new general manager called me to come in to "see what he could do for me". but I think he just smells a desperation sale.

Myself and my family have been buying and servicing our Mazda's with Walter's dealership for years and we have experienced nothing but outstanding service! If something couldn't be covered by warranty then there was good reason for it. I cannot believe how people will try to tarnish the outstanding reputation of a company and person just because they get an answer they don't like. Some people should just suck it up and deal with it! Stop hiding behind your computers! I'm going in for an oil change today and will be bringing Walter a coffee.

Jovan is a very pleasant, knowledgable, and professional salesperson. He listens attentively and does not apply the sales pressure for which many car salemen are noted. He tries to work with the client to meet their needs and financial expectations. This is the first Mazda I've ever purchased and the only Mazda dealership I visited. I did my research and obtained quotes electronically from other dealers in the area. So I believe that I was given a reasonable and fair price on the purchase of my new Mazda - which seems like a great car! I also was given a very reasonable offer for my trade in vehicle. The reason that I have not rated this dealership with any "5s" has nothing to do with my experience with Jovan. He was GREAT! From my point of view I cannot say that about the others I dealt with at this dealership. They need to turn up their "friendly" button and turn down their brusqueness button.

My experience with Liberty was wonderful. Chuck was very helpful and accommodating as I searched for my new vehicle. The whole team was very straightforward about pricing and made me confident that I was getting the best deal possible. I bought the car on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Three hours after signing the papers they had moved my car from the center of the showroom, washed it, vacuumed and put the plates on it. Chuck gave me the keys, showed me everything I would need to know about my new car and answered all my questions.Great experience.

I had a very good car buying experience at Liberty Mazda. I spoke with Michael (sales manager) before I made the trip to the dealership. It was the last day for an Incentive that was being offered and I didnt want to waste time at dealership that wasn't going to give me a fair price on the car I wanted. I Had done my research and new what a fair price range would be. I told Michael what the range I was expecting to pay for the car and asked if that was something he was willing to do. He told me yes he thought he could, so my wife and I made trip to the dealership. When we arrived we were greeted by Jovan Moxley (salse representative). Jovon was very profesional and helpfull. He showed us what they had available and we took one for a ride. While on the test drive Jovan did a great job letting us get used to vehicle and explaining the different features, options, ect. He was very knowledgeable. When we got back we made a fair offer for the car and what we wanted for our trade in, a fair counter offer was made and after one small adjustment the deal was done. All in a couple of hours (not including the paperwork). This is in my opinion how all car purchases should be!Great job Jovon, Michael and Liberty Mazda!

I visited the dealership 3 times, first time the guy shown me the car but refused to evaluate my trade car because asked me to come back with my wife (as I said I will buy with her). Second time the guy wasn't there and someone else helped me but couldn't comment on what previous guy promised me. Third time this guy made 3 appointments at the same time, when I asked for a test drive he just handed over the keys to me. When I was choosing the color in the outside sun, this guy didn't care to come out for 20 minutes and I checked cars (most of them had dead/discharged battery, don't know for how many days) when I asked him he said he was waiting for me to come back. Very very very disrespectful talk, cranking cheap jokes and asking for credit card for every single offer he made. Kept saying how can I trust you that you are serious about the deal. Offered me a trade for $2,500 first and when I kept refusing he started loose talk to stop me from negotiating and finally came upto $5,000...... but.... I had made up my mind not to buy from him at any cost so I refused the offer. His manager was a bigger surprise to me, not sure why he had to meet me after I refused the deal. He came without greeting (perfect demonstration of their customer service) and started from scratch... $2,500 for trade and MSRP on car. I had to fast forward him to say goodbye (forever...) Went to next dealership, Ira Mazda and got the vehicle for the same price what Liberty offered me but with a feel of customer and respect of a buyer. Not a recommended dealership for me.

Jovan is by far one of the best car salesman that I have dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. This was the first time where I didn't feel pressured by the dealership to make a decision right away. In fact, I came back many times and spoke with him on many occasions before deciding to purchase my Mazda cx-7. He was definitely very patient with me, even when I continued to change my mind numerous times on which vehicle I wanted. With Jovan's help, I was able to get the car I loved at a price that pretty much fit my budget. I would definitely recommend everyone to go to Jovan because it's not often that we find a car salesman that makes the car buying expereience as smooth as it was for me. His customer service skills are phenomenal so if you're interested in taking a look at Mazdas, definitely stop by Liberty Mazda and ask for Jovan. I'm glad I did!!!!

I have never reviewed a service provider online, but this experience was comical. After going to Ira, and not being thrilled with the trade-in value they provided, we went to Liberty. We made it easy - knew the model and trim we wanted and told the salesman and sales manager what we'd like for our trade. After two weeks of them not budging and, in my opinion, not being honest at several points, last Friday my husband told the salesman we were going to pass. Frankly, we weren't sure that if we agreed to terms and provided a deposit the deal would be honored. The salesman called later that evening and told us to call the next day because they were "going to give us what we wanted to make a deal". We called back. Same old song and dance. They told us they would call Monday. They did. Same old song and dance. No change on their numbers. HUGE waste of time. But it gets better. Not wanting to deal with this any longer, I decided to capitulate. I just wanted to get a car. Yesterday, at 1:30 p.m., I ate crow, called the salesman, told him we had looked at the figures and would go with the numbers they wanted. He told me he'd check with the manager. I called at 4:00 and he said he would get back to me. I'm still waiting to hear. But I was glad to have had the time, because while I was waiting, I called Quirk, told them what I wanted, they beat it, gave me a higher number on the trade and I drove my new CX-7 off the lot at 3:45 today. I am so, so looking forward to them calling back.

I have always used public transportation since I lived in Boston and when my job moved to the suburbs, I needed to buy a car - my FIRST car. My research lead me to hunt down a Mazda since I had heard such great things about them (high resale value, high on safty and customer satisfaction). I ended up at Liberty Mazda after I visited an open air lot and quickly understood why folks go to dealerships. Furthermore this particular dealtership was very clean, and the folks there were quick to assist me while keeping me hydrated (on the hottest day of the year)! Since I had never purchased a car before I didn't have a licence plate and had to set up insurance as well. I didn't think I'd be able to purchase a car that day - but they proved me wrong! The car I purchased was a 2008 Mazda6 certified pre-owned car and it looked brand new - black on black with Bose speakers, alloy wheels, heated leather seats, etc. Jovan and his finance manager worked with me to find just the right price that I could afford. The price I said I wanted and couldn't exceed - they made sure I was satisfied even if it ment they had to come down on the over all price to accomodate my monthly payments. For an extra $14 a month, good until 2014 or 100K miles I received their extended warranty package which includes replacement of flat tires and rims if I hit a pothole (and for the roads in New England, that's common), in addition there is no deductable to have your car fixed and they give you a free rental to drive around until your car is ready - all under this generous warranty package! Since they just bought the car 3 days prior to selling it to me, they needed to wait on the title so I wasn't able to actually drive off with the vehicle that day - however they gave me a brand new (84 miles) Mazda 3 to drive around while I waited. Bottom line, I went in there that day with the entent to drive off with a car and I did. About 5 days later, I picked up MY car - detailed and ready to go! They didn't let me leave until I was completely satisfied, met Jovan's Customer Service Manager and sat with Jovan in my car to go over all the buttons etc. In addition, Jovan called to follow up and make sure that everything is going well after having had the car for a month now - excellent customer service! Over all, I think everyone should purchase a car (new or used) from Liberty Mazda..and their family too! Great job guys and keep up the good work! Best, Val

I am in utter shock that this type of service exists, even in the worst industry of all times- the car sales industry. After looking for a car for a while, we decided to purchase the Mazda 6 since it's a car I have owned and loved before. After several conversations with a few Mazda dealerships, we decided that Mike was the best guy to earn our business since he seemed to be the most professional and was not "pushy" at all...or so we thought!. I went there on a Saturday to get my trade-in value, with the intention of purchasing the car the next Sunday. Mike advised that the Finance director was on vacation, but he had someone who he could call to finish the deal, and asked if I could wait a short while. In the meantime, his boss called me into his office, and basically told me that he wasn't going to work on my deal over the weekend and basically said that I could either drive the Mazda-which I still haven't purchased-for the weekend, or take a loaner car, if I wanted him to work on my deal. He pretty much guaranteed that he would sell the Mazda to someone else if I declined to drive it home, or take his loaner. I decided to take my chances and take my car home with me, and wait to see if they still have it on Monday...so as we can continue with the deal. Monday morninig, we called Mike, and here comes the berating! The man was so angry and on such a high octave level in his communication with me. He said that he didn't have the time to waste with me, and wasn't about to give me the rate and payment on my car, though I had taken the credit application on Saturday, and that I could either go there in person, or stop wasting his time. Did I mention that he was yelling this to me? Now being someone in this industry I understand why they would be hesitant to give one the complete details of their loan, but when a client has already been to your dealership twice, and has provided you with all the information necessary, why wouldn't they give you all the details?!!! And to be yelled at!?!?!?! We had decided that Mike had earned our business based on his not being pushy...but to be quite honest, he didn't work on selling the car to us at all since we already wanted the car. He didn't show us how the controls worked or anything like that. He had this deal handed to him. I have never been yelled at by a sales man and for no apparent reason. I wouldn't send anyone else to this dealership....good thing there are more Mazda dealers around here.

I have had my Mazda for some months now and I love the way it rides and the gas milage is so much better than the SUV I had been driving. I went all the way to Bar Harbor and still had almost half a tank left. That would have never happened with the SUV. Thanks Liberty Mazda for a great experience.Mary

After weeks and weeks of going back and forth with other dealers, I called Liberty Mazda and spoke with Mike Consoles (Sales Manager). I asked him about the Mazda 3 lease they advertised. He answered everyone one my questions and invited me in to his dealership. Last weekend I went in, they had the car waiting for me and Mike Consoles introduced me to Mike Favalora (Salesman). He was a breath of fresh air, very knowledgable and most importantly not pushy at all. The negotiating was simple because Mike had already explained the lease to us in detail (no hidden fees like every other dealer we visited). Mike & Mike are assets to their company. If you want a great HONEST deal, go to Liberty Mazda.

Not only is the sales department outstanding but the service dept is top of the line too. Its no appointments necessary and valet. When I was getting my remote starter put in they even asked if I needed a loaner car! All I can say is WOW! Thank you Liberty Mazda! What you provide is one of a kind! Zoom Zoom!

I brought in my 2007 Mazda3 Hatch for a trade in to a Mazda Tribute. The trade in value was ok. The price on the Grand Touring Tribute was 17,000. The salesman had something better to do besides answer my questions. I did take it for a 2nd test drive to determine if the SUV was right for me...and that seemed to be a HUGE IMPOSITION for the salesman. I agreed on the sale. Went in to the finance office where I got a good loan rate. I also informed them I didn't get have the Mazda3 title and it would take 10 days for it to arrive. They said it was ok and I could drive off with the Tribute. So I wait an hour while they 'detail' the vehicle and I drive off very happy. Next Day! I flip down the rear seats to see the cargo area and see all kinds of trash from lolly pop sticks to popcorn, wrappers and just crud. So I start looking further inside the vehicle and it's filthy. Women's make up on the visor/vanity mirror, grease stains...oh and old pine freshner tree cones. I would have taken the car back and got my money if I could. Buyer's Remorse, big time.I took photos and sent a letter as well as email with the complaint and photos. "how much do I need to spend at your dealership to be considered a valued customer?" is the question I asked them. Poor, poor service. I could go on but I'll stop with that they offered to re-detail the car for me. Big Deal!

I have bought many new cars over the years, and I have never been treated so poorly as I was at this dealership. I spent several hours dealing with Rob, the "internet sales manager", working out a deal on a Mazda 3. I made it very clear to him that I didn't want to waste my time driving to the dealership unless we had a firm deal. We agreed on a specific price, and he assured me that they would sell me the car at that price. We arranged a time to meet and wrap up the deal. When I arrive at the dealership, it was if we had never communicated before. The deal was void! I gave both Rob and Mike a piece of my mind, got up and left. Please stay away from this place!I proceeded to head down the road to Ira Mazda in Danvers, and they gave me the agreed upon deal I had with Liberty in less than five minutes.

Let me start by saying this.... My salesmen was great my issue is with the old man in the red pants i believe his name was Mike. This was by far the worst car buying experience of my life i was lied to and treated like a piece of trash i will never go back to this place for anything as long as i live."Mike" has a severe attitude problem, from across the room i heard him belittle the salesmen and make several unnecessary comments that in my opinion were extremely rude. STAY AWAY FROM LIBERTY MAZDA AT ALL COST !!!!! also i will be contacting Mazda in regards to this place and its business practices.

Went in to buy a 2011 CX-9 Had already been to a ford dealer who gave me an appraisal on my trade and financing as well as money off a new explorer. Salesweasel and manager agreed to match or beat ford. They wrote some numbers on a paper and sent me on my way to discuss it with my husband. when we went back the next day the numbers changed dramatically as well as my trade value. Finance mgr was borderline rude and manager made comments about my husband that irritated me. They would not give me an interest rate unless I gave them my 5k down payment check. We left angry and stressed. My husband called Ira and not only did they give us a deal over the phone but they honored it and got us a better deal with no games. Come to find out Liberty had held on to the title of my trade and we had to go all the way back there to get it. Also Liberty demanded that the chip in my windshield of my trade be my responsibility to fix because they did not want to spend the money. They also told us we would qualify for 0.9% financing, of course we did not... Ira offered us 18oo dollars more for our trade. Don't waste your time, just go straight to Ira, I wish we had,I would have saved myself a lot of stress and time. If you want stereotypically sleazy car buying expreience go to liberty

Great service from Liberty Mazda as always! This is my 3rd time returning to Liberty Mazda and I'll tell you why, Paul Denning, Joe Trocha & Mike Consolis are always helpful and kind. Paul Denning helped get me into a brand new Mazda5 for the price I wanted! My wife and I were just going to shop for a used minivan for our family of four, but after talking to Paul, we realized we could actually affort a brand new minivan! We tried another dealership, and weren't satisfied, so it was refreshing to work with Paul at Liberty Mazda. Also, my wife and I were a little nervous about affording a brand new car. Paul and the team at Liberty Mazda took the time with us to discuss possible choices for financing. We were very pleased the sales and service at Liberty Mazda! Thank you!!

I went in to comparison shop, I really had my eye on a Nissan Murano but met with Mike Fav and he was so informative and sold me on the CX-7. I wanted something bigger than my Honda Civic and with all wheel drive for the winter. The car rides nicely, has ample storage, the pick up is amazing, and is perfect for my 16 month old's car seat, stroller etc. Mike Fav went above and beyond to show me the features and explain how everything worked. I also worked with the sales manager, Marty and he couldn't have been more upfront and really took the time to work with my husband and me. I would definitely shop and buy here again!

I have leased or purchased six vehicle through the dealership LIberty Mazda in Wakefield. They alway put forth the maximum effort to get me the best deal and insure that I get the car I want at a price that I can afford.Liberty Mazda also has an excellent service department to maintain my vehicle. They also did a great job repairing damage from a minor accident. My Mazda looked better than ever when they were done.I highly recommend this dealership for your next new or used car.

Great people. I have bought or leased 14 cars or SUV's. Just got a CX-9 loaded no issue. They even set up the phone for my Wife! Service is great and never a long wait. I don't understand the issues here? Every time I have worked with them never an issue and always got a great deal. I have ref'd my friends and family who have bought a Mazda 3, Mazda 6 and a few other cars. I guess it's all about relationship. I took the time to get to know everyone and was very upfront I was there to buy a car. Too many times these poor sales guys (who make money by selling) spend hours with people "just looking" who have no intention of buying a car so I can kind of see their point in being very up front and trying to see if people are serious about buying a car.One time I had just bought a new Tribute and had a small issue in upper state NY with my 3 year old son and wife (going to a wedding). I called their repair people and then just sat back. They sent a new loaded SUV from a rent a car group. Had the person who brought the sUV bring water and "a snack" for my son. Then had the Tribute sent to a Mazda dealership in the area. Above that the Srevice manager told me to "take my family out to dinner a few times on them and not to worry about the bill as they would pay it"! My Tribute got fixed in a few days(small computer issue). Now if I had been a upset angry customer it might not have gone so well. But by being nice they went over and above for me. Add in when I got back to their dealership the service manager even reimbersed me for the gas I used in the rented SUV (which they paid for). My point is they are nice people who deal with a good amount of hostile customers. I always say you get back what you give out for a vibe.

I stopped by Liberty Mazda because I was interested in a new Mazda I dealt with Rob and his sales manager AJ. I find the buying process stressful because I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars. Fortunately I had Rob and his manager AJ working with me. They were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful with my selection. They made the buying experience very enjoyable. They explained the options carefully and were not pushy in their tactics. I really appreciate their assistance in choosing my new car.

I was in the market for a used Honda Accord for my daughter and stopped by to see one they had in their inventory. The salesman Larry took me on a test drive which was uneventful. I felt the price was fair and did review the Carfax beforehand so I was absolutely ready to buy....now it gets bad, REAL BAD.I no sooner sat down when Larry asked "So if we can agree upon a price are you ready to take delivery today?"....which immediately made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I replied "Sure" to which he then said "I need to make sure you're a good faith customer so take your credit card out". Now if you just read that and are asking yourself if this is for real I assure you it is and that I was as dumbfounded as you probably are.....asking for my credit card to make sure I'm a "good faith customer"??I bolted out the door but not before making it clear their old school slick willy sales techniques were not appreciated and they had just blown a sale.

Found an excellent vehicle online at a decent price. Went for a test drive and liked the vehicle so I asked to bring it to an independant mechanic for review. The mechanic indicated that some repair work needed to be done and also indicated that repair work needed to be done and that a "fix" had been done to keep the issue quiet. When I asked if this could be repaired they indicated that it could but the cost would be included in the price of the vehicle. They couldn't provide a cost for this repair and they refused to lower the price of the vehicle to help me cover the cost out of pocket. They indicated a general cost of parts that seemed high and the time for labor excessive. After checking online the cost of the parts was 1/10th of what they indicated and the time frame for the repair, at its longest, would take half the time. The salesman couldn't answer simple questions and constantly had to go ask other people.I walked out without a car and with nothing but disdain for that place and the people who work there.

Visit Liberty Mazda for your next new car purchase ONLY if you want to experience all the sleazy car sales tactics you've heard about: good cop/bad cop; bait-and-switch; feigned ignorance of administrative (documentation) fees; etc. Despite all the back and forth between the salesperson and the sales manager, the manager never came and talked to us, but when we got up to leave, he yelled across the showroom trying to wheel and deal some more. I can't say whether or not their prices were good, because when the negotiations came to a head, they wouldn't actually sell us the car we were discussing at the price they were writing on their slip of paper.

About two weeks ago we bought a 2010 Mazda3 at Liberty Mazda. We did a lot of research on the car and visited a lot of dealerships in the area. We found Liberty sales to be low pressure and the price we negotiated was very good. Salesman Joey and Sales Manager Marty treated us with courtesy and respect. I asked them to do a few things to the car, which they did without question and for no charge. The car was ready to be picked up when they said, and everything was done. In the service department we had work done to our complete satisfaction. We dealt with Service Adviser Tom and Service Manager Walt who also treated us with courtesy and respect. We highly recommend buying your next car from Liberty Mazda and as long as this level of sales and service exists we will continue to go there. Remember, buying a car requires that you do your research in advance, not after the car is bought. If you do your homework you will understand the process from both sides of the transaction and you will get a better deal and better service.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased my '07 Mazda3 in May of 2009- I was looking for very specific features in the car... I thought I had found "the one" at Liberty Mazda, so I went for a test drive with Rob. He did his best to convince me that an '07 with these features was VERY hard to find. I told him that I wanted heated seats, and he said, "no problem, we'll put them in". I also told him I wanted four brand new tires, again it was "no problem". I signed the deal, and picked up the car about a week later, in the rain. I spun the front tires merging onto 128, and when i got home found that my "new" front tires had about 10% of the tread left. after much hassle they gave me my new tires, and installed them all backwards. I had this fixed at Ira Mazda (they are the best!) since this issue, I found out by a mechanic friend that the car has had major front end repairs and was most likely repaired after a collision- Liberty Mazda denied this, and told me that since it wasn't on the carfax,it couldn't have happened- even though there are obvous repairs that have been made. My most recent issue happend the other night, when i switched on my seat heater and suddenly my car was filled with smoke. I switched it off and opened the window and it seemed to be fine. i went right to the dealership this morning and was told i would have to pay $100 just for them to look at it. I told them i'll take it to Ira since I didn't trust their service dept. Ira pulled up my car history in their computer and told me that I had aftermarket seat heaters that were installed by an outside shop, and that they were NOT covered by my warranty- I was NEVER told this by Liberty, and certainly wouldn't have purchased the car under these terms. Today I am stuck with a melted driver's seat, and nobody can help me. Ira at least is making the call to see if the aftermarket part has some sort of warranty so I can get my seat fixed. All in all Liberty is super shady and I think my next dealings with them will take place in the courtroom. This could have taken my life if this seat problem turned into a fire- I could have also been poisoned by the plastic fumes that filled my car when it happend. PLEASE take your business elsewhere!

My husband and I originally emailed Liberty Mazda when we starting looking for our CX-9 but when we went on-line they had horrible reviews on this website and so we went to Ira Mazda. I wish on everything we didn't follow this website and went to Liberty to begin with. We went to Ira and they lied to us for three days straight. Each day it was something different. All in all they said they couldn't get us financing for the amount we needed and wanted us to put an additional 3k down on top of the 1k we were already putting down. On Sunday (2/21) they told us we were all set with a brand new cx-9 and we could pick it up tomorrow after they finalized everything, then Monday told us the bank didn't want to give us the loan anymore and could get us in a used one and so we went in to look at the used and we liked it, that evening they told us the loan was definitively going to go through. Tuesday came a long and we were no longer going to be able to get the used and trade our car in and that in order to get the used cx-9 we would have to drop the trade (we owed more then it was worth). Finally we put our foots down because it just didn't seem right. Freddie, AJ and Chris all told us that we would need to put more money down or find someone else to co-sign with us. My husband and I both make good money and have good credit and we couldn't see the problem. We told them if we couldn't get the used with our trade in all deals were off, and they said there was no way that would work. We spent a total of 3 days and over 9 hours at that dealership. We went to Liberty Mazda today (2/27) and went to Rob, who we originally emailed with in the first place, and Joe, their finance man, and they were EXCELLENT!!!! We bought a used cx-9 with our trade in for a better deal then what Ira was offering us. We were there for only 1 1/2 hours and we didn't have to put extra down and we didn't need another co-signer. We were approved instantly for the loan. Ira Mazda tried to screw us over. I regret not going to Liberty Mazda to begin with and will do all future business with them. Please PLEASE PLEASE, go to Liberty Mazda, they are wonderful and a pleasure to do business with. Ira Mazda is clearly in cahoots with this website. Thank you Rob/Joe for all of your help!

After doing a ton of research, I began searching for the best place to buy a new Mazda. I shopped every dealership within 100 miles of Danvers and was pleasantly surprised when I met Mike Consoles at Liberty Mazda. After being strong armed, BS'd, and treated like a tire kicker by sales people and managers alike, Mike took the time to listen to me and made sure we found the right car, at the best price. All the folks there, from Mike to the finance guy, to the general manager, were a pleasure to deal with. Do yourself a huge favor and be sure to see Mike at Liberty Mazda before you buy your new car. The folks at Liberty were really decent to deal with. Compared to the other dealerships, I was truly impressed. I would highly recommend making Liberty Mazda in Wakefield, MA your last stop, if not your only one.

I recently purchased a Mazda 5 at Liberty Mazda and I am happy with the purchase except for 1 issue . My disappointment concerns a 2nd key for the preowned vehicle I purchased. I was told I would get a second key when I returned with the vehicle for the finishing touches. When I picked up the car they could not find the key and the dealership cut a new one for the vehicle. My problem with this is that the 2nd key does not have the automatic remote that locks and unlocks the vehicle. I expected a 2nd key that would open the vehicle without manually unlocking the doors. It might have made a difference in my decision, due to the fact they had another car on the lot that was similar except for the color. I was given a used switchblade style key they disabled and removed the key it just the remote which makes it looks like it is broken. For a $200 key and a few minutes of a service techs time, they have lost not only any future purchases, but the use of their service department for servicing my new vehicle, not to mention that I would steer anyone away from purchasing from them in the future.

We had requested a quote by e-mail via a quoting service (Kelley Blue Book), and Liberty Mazda was one of the slower ones to respond. In fact, after sending me an acknowledgment e-mail and phone call, they still did not provide the quote, and I had to phone again to get a verbal quote. (Would have liked to get it in writing.) I was told one quote by one salesperson, and then a different quote (by $100) by a different sales person. But we had a good experience when we got there at the dealership. As agreed, we phoned shortly before coming (rather than committing to an appointment time), and Rob had the car ready for us, and we didn't have to wait at all for him or to look and drive the car. He honored the lower phone quote, and when we told him that we had been quoted something lower from another dealer, we were able to negotiate it down slightly. There was no pressure at all, even though we were keeping them past closing time. What was really nice was that we didn't even have to commit to making a decision regarding all-cash or financing, but could sleep on that, even after signing the purchase agreement and making the downpayment.

Beware of this dealership. I was quoted a price on the phone, but it was only to get me down there. They had no intention of giving me that price. They convinced me that it was the only one of it's kind anywhere so I put down a deposit. Two days later on a Sunday I went down there unannounced, and sure enough the next row over was the exact same car. You could see it was there for awhile, the disc brakes were rusting. The next morning I called to cancel as I found the exact car at another dealer for $1,000 less. They are refusing to give back my deposit and were very nasty when I cancelled. Stay clear of this dealership, They are lying cheats.

Brought my Mazda in for a timing belt service, while there was suggested to replace water pump since they were in the area (checked around and that is a legit consern) so had the water pump replaced. When we went to pick it up, there were more things broken then when we left it. They said the ECR control needed to be replaced, and now the exhaust need repair also. It had been running fine, so I told them no. When went to pick up the vehical it ran awful, exhaust which had no leak, now sounded horrible, and the vehical was sputtering and barely made it home! Turns out conviently there was a hole in our exhaust system and the ECR control crapped out on us. I ended up repairing the ECR myself, and took exhaust to Lou's Custom exhaust for a 90 dollar repair (the dealership quoted around $2000 for an entire new exhaust system)Overall feeling was very sketchy and I truly feel they tampered with parts to pad there pockets. I will never go back there again!

This place is completely shady. I brought my car in for a 30,000 mile checkup (in fine working order) and they charged me $684!! I also did not have my tires rotated. Now, I understand that I should have asked for the price up front but I had no idea it could possibly be this much for a car in perfect working condition. I called around to other local dealers and they are charging much less (between $140-$300 less!). When I called the service department to make it right, they refused and basically said they could charge whatever they want and that they had done a competitive analysis. This is a complete lie! I would highly recommend that you NOT take your car there. IN addition, the time prior, they put a huge hole in my drivers seat while performing a tire alignment. They did fix it but it was up to me to take the time to bring it back. Stay AWAY!

My husband and I went to Liberty Mazda with the goal of buying a new car, since the term of my husband's lease was about to end. We had a pleasant experience with Carl, a salesman. He was friendly, patient, and courteous. However, what prevented us from buying a car at Liberty was the GM, Mike McGuire. I only met him for about 30 seconds, but he was rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. I thought it was because I was a woman, but upon reading other reviews on this website, it seems that he treats everyone this way. Unfortunately, he cost Carl a sale, because we bought the same car that we test-drove with Carl -- at another dealership.

Went to purchase a vehicle with a family member. Mike in sales was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable. He was not pushy and let us take our time to try and select a specific vehicle. When we realized there wasn't the exact fit of a vehicle that day, Mike's boss, sales manager Mike became involved. He was rude, arrogant and out right disrespectful to myself and family. With other Mazda dealers so close to one another, it surprises me that one man, Sales Manager Mike could ruin a deal for the dealership. We felt bad for Mike in sales, because we did buy a Mazda at another dealership. Mike in sales is a super friendly nice guy and went out of his way to help us, but his sales manager unfortunatly cost him a sale.

Spent weekend looking for and maneuvering hard for a new CX7 for my wife. Mike (sales) was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy; an atypical sales associate. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for Mike (GM) who simply came off as an angry man. Because of this my wife did not want to do business with this dealer. I felt badly for Mike (sales) who spent a great deal of time with us only to come up with no sale. Based on other negative reviews and my experience, I'd hazard a guess that this dealership will not be around much longer. To begin, the entire car sales model is flawed and has been for a long time. However, couple an uncomfortable process with a very bad economy and an abrasive sales manager and you have a recipe for disaster--in this case a dealership with no customers.

Quite frankly, I left the service station angry, feeling cheated and disrespected - and all I went in for was my 15,000 mile check up. I had to deal with 3 completely different sets of people while trying to get a Mazda3 with s-plan pricing. First time in Oct and they didn't have a car I wanted. I went back 4 months later and put a $500 deposit to order one from manufacturer in January because they couldn't get one for me. By this time, the original salesteam including the "internet sales manager" had already left 128. The new salesman confirmed that they'd order it from Mazda directly and the car will be shipped from Hiroshima. They quoted me 60 to 90 days for the car to arrive. 2 months later, no one from 128 had called to let me know of the status. I called my salesperson back and found out she was no longer with the company. After being put on hold and having to wait someone else to call me back, they said they couldn't fulfill my order. When I asked why, they said they messed up and thought it wasn't a custom order. So 2 months later, there was no car in sight. I was glad to get my deposit back and will not try to buy cars from 128 ever again. They should be happy I didn't ask for the interest on those $500! You will be much better off going with a more professional dealership without this high attrition rate. They didn't seem particularly interested in selling me a car, imagine that!

My journey in finding a Mazda3H (5 door hatchback) in a manual transmission started in September 2006. I first got in touch with Brian Sullivan, the "Internet Sales Manager" through their website. He didn't have the car on hand, but told me to go in anyways. I went there 2 days later, met with a guy named "Cappy" because Brian "Sully" Sullivan was too busy to deal with me. He tried to sell me an automatic which I said I didn't want. Then he tried to sell me a black manual, which I didn't want. In the end, I decided to wait and see if more manual transmission would come in. "Cappy" called twice after that, haggled to try to sell me the black Mazda3. Considerable effort on his part, and I think he was just doing his job. Fast forward to January 2007, I went in to order a custom car because there was none matching my requirements on their lot. By that time, both "Sully" and "Cappy" were no longer with 128 Mazda. So I dealt with Mike Clark and Monica Pettersen. They told me they were doing things right after "Ford" guys left. After another test drive, I placed an order for a specific color and model. I also paid $500 deposit. They quoted me that the car should arrive in 60 to 90 days. I didn't hear from ANYONE in 2 months. Last week, I called Monica to see where my car was. Guess what, she was no longer with 128 Mazda. (This is prob the dealership with the highest attrition rate I ever heard of. ) I spoke with Mike Clark. He said he didn't know what was happening with my order. He returned my call 2 hours later to say "we couldn't get your car". I asked for a refund and he said sure. Next day, I called to ask about the refund. No one could help me and said they'd call back. Of course, they didn't. So at last, I had to go into the dealership to get y $500 deposit back. Jim Suprenant greeted me this time around. (4th person I'd had to work with since last fall) He said Monica dropped the ball, didn't play my order as a Custom order. Total lies considering Mike was also present at the time I put down deposit. He then quoted me it could take 120 days if I placed an order now. What happened to the 60 to 90 days? My overall feeling is this dealership is extremely disorganized. It was amazing that they didn't even try to keep my business. The high attrition rate among its sales team is a sign something is terribly wrong. Please go to another Mazda dealership in the Boston area if you are a serious buyer.

Went in with engine light on. No appointments taken. All service done barber shop style, first-come first served. I was worried at first when he told me that my car was not likely still under warranty. I called Mazda North America and they confirmed that it was still under warranty. They did a diagnostic check and found the gas cap came loose and messed up the vacuum system. They said the diagnostic service and other adjustments were not under warranty and charged me $40. I figure they could have lied and tried to charge me for some bogus repair, but they did not. It took them 24 hours to get to my car as they take in more than they can handle in a day. My friend tells me she always got good service there. I'm happy with it though I have seen much better.

Was researching buying a new Mazda 3. Was in touch with the internet sales guy and got a quote and an actual email with the invoice. So I trek down there and deal with another salesman. He walks me out to the car. I notice it doesn't have the features I wanted. The internet salesman comes over and I tell him that's not the car I emailed him about. He says, are you sure? I said, yes I'm sure. It's got features I don't want and is missing the ones I do want. So they go back to the desk to find this mythical car that I'm looking for that ends up not being stock. They come back and trie to sell me on the car they had. Told them I wasn't interested. Kept getting the run around on why the features on this car were better than the ones I wanted. Thanks but no thanks. So salesman goes over to manager, who's on the phone the whole time looking important, and I can slightly overhear them and the manager says to the salesman, 'I just don't have the car this guy is looking for' without getting off the phone. Salesman comes over and tries again to sell me on this car.I had had enough. So told them I was not interested and left. For weeks and months afterwards, I got emails from the internet sales guy, each time with a car that didn't have the features I wanted. After ignoring all of these emails, I finally respond to one and tell the guy I already bought a car from another dealer that didn't try to bait and switch me like they did.Didn't hear from him after that.Pass on 128 Mazda, which is part of 128 Ford, if that tells you anything.

WOW!!! after reading all these reviews, I too will not by my car there. I had gone there to check out a car, dealt with a more than pleasant salesman, got the whole tour of the facilities, repair shop, lounge etc.. so I ended my talks with him saying that I still needed to do some research, figure out which way I wanted to go since they didn't have the car in the color I wanted, not their fault, Mazda didn't use that color on that model anymore. so basically I tell him I'll get in touch with you, don't call me. next day I get a voicemail on my cell, it's the salesman. usual call... did you get your info yet, make up your mind, give you a great deal yada yada yada... here's the dealer phone # I'm here all the time, call whenever, here's my cell # call me anytime blah blah blah.. so I'm at lunch listening to this, laughing, thinking how desperate is this guy to make a sale, when I finish, about 10 min. later it's him again calling me on his cell phone!! so I ignore it, let it go to voicemail, and listened to it a bit later, further b.s. from him, more laughter from me. funny, but never got a call from him again!! they had thier big sale, no call, end of year, no call. oh well, guess they don't need my business after all, and after reading some of these posts, I guess I won't be buying it there, unless it's a really great deal, because in the end, unless there's a warranty issue, they will never see me again anyway, I already have a mechanic that works on my car and have never let anyone touch it unless it was a warranty repair. and their not the only Mazda dealer I could take it too, doesn't matter where you take it for a warranty repair.
