The Carfax I was GIVEN by the DEALER was falsified. The carfax they provided said the car had never been in an accident and the owner gave me some line about the car sitting in his lot for over 10 years and it had barely been used and accident free. I needed a car badly so I took it as it was a decent price, only for the brakes to go out four times in the year I bought it and multiple trips to the mechanic to fix the wiring that was mix matched and miss labled causing the car to die constantly WHILE IN USE, which nearly caused me an accident. When I decided to sell the car to get one that didn't require constant mechanic visits, I got to find out it not only had been in an accident, but a head on collision. This review was edited to provide more scathing detail as the dealer apparently decided to blame carfax for misinformation when I was clearly taken for a ride no joke intended. I repeat, stay faaaarrrr away.
