On our initial test drive of the new Pilot, Joseph was informative and very professional. First impressions are everything. A few months went by and we went back to Lucas Honda and saw Joseph for a purchase. We were so impressed, we stopped in and picked our new vehicle out without even test driving the Pilot. Lucas Honda and Joseph was amazing in all the purchasing process. This dealership is small but they know how to keep customers. This will make the second purchase from Lucas in 10 years. I am giving Lucas Honda 5 stars for multiple reasons. The sales staff treated me honestly and fairly and did not annoy me with the traditional cat and mouse game of "Let me see what I can do". The entire experience of buying a car here was positive and I would certainly start here when I decide to purchase my next vehicle. The dealership told me what they were going to do and followed through. I really appreciate simple integrity and that's the feeling I got dealing with Lucas Honda. I was told my car would be ready in about 2.5 hour more like 3.5 hours and the passenger airbag was replaced but left grease smudges on window. The service department was very busy that day so I did understand.

The oil change was very fast and efficient. The cleaning looked good on the outside. When I looked inside I realized my golf umbrella was missing again. The last time I had an oil changed my blue and white golf umbrella was missing. It was found but we have not found it this time. We are very sad. We won't have a nice umbrella to keep us dry.

Steve and Scott are the best service technicians ever! They take outstanding care of our Honda CRV and keep us informed of what needs to be done right away and what needs to be done in the future. Both men are professional, courtesy, competent, credible, and always make me feel at home:)Also, the woman at checkout is very nice, courtesy, and helps me when I am using a debit or credit card. I am sorry I forgot her name but she is always there on Saturdays:) when I take our car in.While waiting on the car the coffee and donuts are nice! Also, the popcorn smells wonderful. Having Wi-Fi access and the reading cubicles are nice. The car wash, vacuum, and tire shine is another added bonus. This is a $10 value at a drive in car wash.Thanks for everything!The Moore's

I've been a customer of Lucas Honda for many, many years and there is a reason for that....THEY ARE ALL FANTASTIC! Whether purchasing a vehicle (I bought 2 cars in one day) to have normal service work done, they treat their customers like family. Scott, one of the long-time service writers, is always smiling and if he ever has a bad day (which, we all have from time to time) you'd never know it. Very personable and he's ALWAYS made sure that the work I've requested gets done and done correctly. The sales staff are top-notch! No "high pressure" salesmen at this dealership. I've actually gone to Keith Pearson with my step-son to see about a car for him and the difference in the two dealerships is like night and day....I don't care what those "paid customers" say on the commercials. There is no comparison between Keith Pearson and LUCAS HONDA! I could go on and on but, I think you get the idea. After purchasing a total of 6 vehicles from Lucas, I will NOT go anywhere else.

When we called Lucus Honda they advised us to bring the car in immediately. We were provided a vehicle(van) thru Enterprise rentals for the duration. It took 5 weeks to repair the vehicle. We incured no out of pocket expense and our car was returned detailed and clean as new.Thanks Lucus!

I am a definite Lucas Honda fan. More than that, I am a dedicated Honda person. I sometimes wonder "why" people don't buy a Honda. All you have to do is talk with a Honda owner. third time going there and never a good result, I was looking for a manual transmission vehicle, but not just any car!! I was looking for a manual, accord coupe, sad to say that not many dealers carry this type of vehicle in their lot, after a talk with the salesman and telling him exactly what I wanted, the manager said NO, they would NOT order, because the dealer would not pay for the delivery, I came in with a waiver from honda financial on a special to purchase another vehicle with a couple of waivers, one of them a NO security deposit!!! can you see where I am going with this, another thing is that I question them on a fee over a thousand dollars for add ons that I didn't ask on a vehicle, but the dealer charges no matter what!! looks to me that they don't like a person that is paying attention to every single detail before making a decision to purchase. So, after the third time trying to do business with them, I can finally say that I would NEVER do any kind of business with them, even if is a oil change, and I will teach my sailors to stay away from that dealership, Oh! and by the way, I been trained by the military as a financial specialist to help my soldiers in making wise decisions on any transaction; looks like it pays to study and train on this type of matter.

I pre-approved work I expected to be accomplished after the oil change. After inspecting the brake pads, it was determined that it was not necessary at this time and we would wait until the next service to determine if the pads were worn enough for replacement. They put on the paper that they washed yhe car when they didn't cause I said they didn't have to and to sit in the service area where the TV was at and cannot change the channel cause the channel it was on was boring I myself plus I guard some other customers wanting to change the channel and the lady at the counter said they couldn't change it please fix that problem why should us customers sit there and watch something that is not very interesting to us?

My service at Honda is always great. My car had a recall so I just dropped it off for the day. The only thing I wish you would change is the rental car. While you had a rental car all set up for me, I wasn't aware. So I had to wait for someone to pick me up and take me back each time. I also had to provide a credit card and a deposit on the vehicle that was rented for me. While I understand, I certainly don't think it's fair that I should have to put money out of my pocket to have something fixed that's Hondas responsibility, regardless that I get the deposit back. It would be easier and more convenient for your customers to just give them another Honda for the day you are servicing the vehicle. That's the way it used to be.

My car was out of warranty by 4,000 miles but noticed rust around the sunroof of my Civic. Mr Keene went out of his way to return calls, see the car at MY convenience and took photos. Within 24 hrs Mr Keene had an answer from Honda that they would replace the whole sunroom and not "patch" the roof. I will continue to buy my cars from Lucas. My family has bought 4. My car was ready for an oil change. I needed to be at a meeting in a neighboring county and didn't want to trust driving my car that far. I called and asked if I could bring my car in and leave it while I had another way to get to my meeting. The answer was "of course". Our Odyssey was serviced at Lucas for 13 years and we got 330 thousand miles out of it. The motor ran like a top until we traded it in. ALL employees courteous and helpful. What else could I ask for? As for service, we had an oil change and oil replacement filter, plus had the air filter replaced. As far as I can tell, service is excellent including cleaning the inside of my windshield. They always return my car with an outside was job and it is certainly appreciated. Have only used Lucas Honda since we moved to this area and definitely do not plans to change. Love this dealership!

I go to Lucas because i know they will treat my CRV with careful attention. I feel confidentthat if they tell me my car needs a new cabin filter, for example, that it's true, because when I bringit up and ask them to check, they often will tell me it did not need to be changed yet. They will let me know if they see something that will need attending to in the near future (tire wear, for example).I bought my car there and will go; back when it's time for a new one.

Excellent service, they are the reason I will purchase again at Lucas Honda. I have the platinum plan. I only have to call day prior. They get in right in and out as fast as possible. They have maintained vehicle and have repaired/replaced things that would not be covered under plan. I now have 40,000 miles on car and never once been told I need to buy or repair anything for a fee. I overhear other customers in waiting room that do not have the platinum plan and they all seem to be treated fair. They truly do treat you like your satisfaction is important. As a female I've never experienced such a positive experience at a service dept. until Lucas Honda.

Jim MacDonald was extremely informative and patient with me. He never pushed and did not bug me regarding purchasing/leasing a car. I had never leased so I had many many questions. I first contacted Jim in August 2015. I knew I wanted the CRV EX in white/beige. He went out of his way to find me one in white. Since the supply was limited and that was the only color I wanted, he suggested that I wait for the 2016. I was not in a hurry and agreed. I had also contacted another dealership and felt extremely pressured into making a decision when I was not ready to do so. I contacted my credit union (121 Financial) and was told to see Jim at Lucas.--he was the best! And he was. I picked up the 2016 CRV EX in white/beige on Veteran's Day. I recently had a significant electrical problem with my 5 year old Honda Odyssey. I got to the dealership before the car completely died. After assessment by the team, they identified the alternator had gone bad and the battery had a bad cell. In addition, they noted that my tire tread was extremely worn and dangerous. They were very professional in identifying the problem and were able to acquire the parts overnight. They were not able to provide me transportation, however, and thus I had to acquire my own wheels while the car waited to be repaired.I waited until the end of the day and ultimately had to call the dealership to see if the work was completed. Of course they told me it had "just" been done.....I got there and paid bill. I went straight to vehicle and had to go back in for help as I couldn't open sliding doors. It was a simple error in that the on/off switch had somehow been changed. The service tech only came and discussed with me after I went back in to get help.

Bought our jeep on 7/7/15 by 7/17/15 it was back over there to fix a problem with lights flashes on and off and headlights going out while driving at night . Well it sat at dealership for 5 days before they sent it to jeep place next door to have it looked at ant it took jeep one day to fix it , got it back on 7/24/15 . Guess what 8/5/15 the lights start acting up again , doing the same thing as before , plus check engine light comes on so I take it to have the machine hooked to it to find out it has a transmission malfunction . So once again I have to return my jeep to fix what should of been fixed the first time plus have the transmission looked at . Guess they will keep my jeep for 5 days before sending it next door to be fixed . Well it best get fixed this time cause next time will not be a nice call or trip over there .

I bought a jeep from them only had it 11 days and it started acting up . The dash lights blinked in and off , going down the road at 10:30 pm and all of a sudden lights go out on dash and headlights . Next day it didn't want to shift into next gear and wouldn't go over 20 mph . Called the dealership and they sent a tow truck to pick it up . I got a loaner car to use . Here it is almost a week later called yesterday for them to tell me , give us till 3:00 and we will call you . They had to send it to dodge place to be looked at yesterday , no call back like the guy promised me . Called today put on hold for 14 mins , hung up called back and hear we don't know anything . It shouldn't take this long to know something , they don't take long to withdraw your payment . Right now a very unhappy customer as far as getting it fixed. Sale department when I bought this was great .

I found a car at Lucas Honda of Jacksonville I liked and told them I was pre-approved for a loan at my credit union. We began the process of completing paperwork to purchase the car afterwards I contacted my credit union for their final approval. My credit union denied the loan approval because they indicated that the car was over-valued and they were only going to approve the MSRP. The difference in price between the sticker price and the MSRP was approximately $2,000. Lucas Honda would not budge from their sticker price so I decided to check with Duval Honda to see if they had the same car. They had the same car and were ok with selling the car for the MSRP that my credit union would allow. We closed on the car at Duval Honda.In the meantime Lucas Honda was irate and informed me that I owed them $1,000 for signing their Promissory Note document stating (in so many words) I agreed to purchase the car for the sticker price when I told them several times I was pre-approved by my credit union. I recently received documents from their attorney suing me for $1,000 plus $295 attorney fees. Beware of signing any and all documents when doing business with Lucas Honda and preferably consider Duval Honda as they have better pricing and deals.

The greeting was wonderful esp for men to be busy early in the am. The environment was professional & there staff very warm. The wait time was a bit long but the waiting room kept me pretty busy with tv, coffee, popcorn & treats.. I def wouldn't go to any other honda. I drive to the Avenues all the time.

John was great. John and the sales manager were willing to negotiate to a degree that I was comfortable with. Other dealerships I dealt with would take $500-$1000 off a car and then refuse to budge, which resulted in me leaving. I feel the final negotiation was very fair relative to where we both started. The van is awesome. When the van arrived completing the paperwork was very quick.

It's nice to be able to trust where I take my car! I compared the estimate from Lucas Honda to fix my AC and replace the timing belt/water pump to RPM in San Marco and Lucas Honda was much less expensive! Plus they gave me a loaner car while they were working on my Odyssey. Very nice staff! I also love that they clean my car.

Lucas Honda always has a friendly, professional staff. The service department is amazing and if your service is going to take longer than expected - like when you think you need an oil change and realize it's time for a major service - not a problem. They will have a car available for you so you don't have to wait. Waiting for your service - relax, have some popcorn, test drive a car or go ahead and work, their internet service is always available. Buying a new car? Go for a test drive, ask questions, take your time. The entire sales staff is friendly and their goal is to meet your needs, not to exceed your budget or waste your time. They won't pressure you and if you'd like to test drive even if your not ready to buy just yet, it's never a problem. Have children? They have a nice play area, child friendly videos and did I mention the popcorn?? My children are teens now, but they always loved going to the dealership with me. Shopping on a Sunday - not a problem, they are open. Need a special time, they will be there - you are the customer and they want you to be happy.

After test driving several brands of 2014 SUV's in the 23k to 25k price range, I liked what the Honda CRV had to offer the best. The Honda CRV had the most room in the back seat. The basic LX model comes with attractive, comfortable cloth seats. After driving a subcompact car I appreciate the back up camera that also comes with the LX. The white pearl color comes in metallic paint that really gives it an opulent look while contrasting the black trim and silver rims. Other surprises in the LX included the fold down flat seats with one pull, the bluetooth phone, and steering mounted radio controls. With the gear shift mounted just below the dash means I can grab my drink without having to reach around the shifter. I like the storage bin between the front seats - large and accessible. The speedometer is centered for easy viewing through the steering wheel. It handles very nice on the highway. I only wish the taillights did not go all the way to the roof line as it gives it more of a station wagon look. Aside from that the 2014 Honda CRV still looks great and it is an improvement over the previous years CRVs. Now that I had decided what car I wanted I needed to find a dealership. The local used car dealerships wanted almost as much for their used 2013 Honda CRVs than a new one. I went to the local dealership and they were priced way over the factory recommended MSRP. Not only were they very pressuring but were condescending as well. My friend Tom Strother, a regular customer at Lucas, recommended that I talk to Jim McDonald. Jim was very professional and non-pressuring. We worked out a deal for a 2014 Honda CRV over the phone within a couple of minutes. He said that I would be driving off the dealership (after paper work) in a shorter time it took me to drive there from Gainesville. He was right! Overall, I got a very fair market price for the 2014 Honda CRV and I still feel the same way. Thanks Jim. I financed the car through Honda and received the same well mannered, non-pressuring interaction with "Jim in finance." I had such a good experience at Lucas Honda that before I left I splurged and bought the all-weather mats from Ben (Parts Department). Again, good service. Thanks Ben. I would not hesitate to put Jim McDonald and Lucas Honda at the very top of my list for the place to buy my next car. Thanks again, Rand Larsen

As usual, this last visit was a pleasant experience for me. The staff in the Service department were all friendly, informative, prompt, and very competent. On this particular occasion, I was having our 2010 Honda CRV serviced. The CRV has the Honda Platinum Service Plan which makes the trip even more enjoyable. I was given an informative summary when I picked up the vehicle; basically indicating the services performed and an overall rating that the vehicle was very road worthy in all aspects. A real "feel good" thing to hear. I've never had a bad experience visiting the Honda Service department in the 15 or so years I've had Honda vehicles. We are a Honda family, with four Hondas or more parked at our house at any given time. Keep up the good work! I love the new furniture and amenities in the waiting area. And, the pastry and coffee provided guests is out of sight.

I called ahead and made an appointment for servicing. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and they took my car in the shop within 10 minutes. It was ready within an hour.The waiting room was relaxing and there were snacks and drinks if you wanted.I could see in the shop to see what stage my car was in. Since I have purchased 2 vehicles at Lucas Honda over the past 4 years and have had both of them serviced there (on service contracts), I can unequivocally speak on behalf of the quality of service that I have received during this time frame. Of interest, over the years i have always coordinated my service requirements thru Scott Adams who, in my estimation, is the consummate professional insofar as addressing my vehicular as well as personal needs. Superb technical expertise as well as his advice on car concerns, open communications, timely job completion and his dedication to customer service have facilitated my ability to have my cars serviced in a timely manner. Finally and most importantly, jobs are done right the first time as evidenced by my not experiencing any oil leaks in my garage or other issues.Of note, most recently, we had noted that a screw became imbedded in one of my Honda Pilot's tires, and air was leaking at an undesirable level. And so, I called Scott who quickly set up an appointment for me to have the tire reviewed (and ultimately changed) so that my wife could keep her pm Dr. appt. His action on my behalf in this case typifies my experiences with Scott and his team of technicians at Lucas Honda.

I have taken my cars to Lucas since I moved to Jacksonville in late 2008. I have never had a negative experience in the 5 years. The two cars I have had...one at a time...have accumulated 160,000 plus miles during this time.I bought the second vehicle from Lucas & was pleased with the process.Two exceptional incidents.1. I have bought new tires several times. Once, the new tires were difficult to balance. Lucas ended up sending 3 of the 4 back to the maker after many tests and attempts. In the end I was completely pleased with their work for which they did not charge anything but the original costs of mounting, balancing, etc. for one set. I'm still using that set of tires.2. I had an engine noise returning from a trip. I stopped at a Honda dealer nearby. They checked it our and suggested a certain engine problem. They gave me an estimate of several hundred dollars to fix it, & I would have to wait several hours because they had to order the part. I asked if it would be dangerous to drive home about 150 miles so I could have the work done at Lucas. They said, "No." I took the car in to Lucas the next morning. They charged me a small fee to check the problem. They reported they were embarrassed (on behalf of the other dealer) to find there was no such problem. Lucas could have easily done the repair that the other dealer "found," and I would never have questioned it. Instead they were honest. Now, you can see why I use Lucas.

I came with my son; drove up, parked by the trees; saw 3 men standing outside and Ray came from inside and spoke to us and was very friendly and nice, told him what we wanted and nothing else, let him know I did my homework and had a list of all Honda delaerships in the area and if the one I wanted wasn't there I was leaving. H e drove us with the golf cart over to the 2013 Honda Fit 4d hatchbacks and there it was..midnight blue and everything I wanted inside and we went inside and took only a few and we were signed and came back later to pick up car, I never felt pushed or pressured, the atmosphere was very relaxing, everyone around seemed very personalable, but Ray was meant to walk out that door and wait on us I just know it. Will have no problem telling people to go see him for a car.

I contacted this dealership via interent and got a quick response every time, but when i made a deal with another dealership I received an email saying "thanks for wasting my time." I found this to be very unprofessional and will NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone. He probably spent a total of thrity minutes in emails helping me. Bottom line, It doesn't matter because this is part of being in sales. Perhaps he should consider another profession. It's okay to think these things, but NOT okay to relay it to a CASH paying customer!

0 for 2 now....service and sales. Brought in a CRV a while back for what I was told was a minor repair to correct an engine light (had run two diagnostics at other repair shops - both came back the same minor issue). Was given song and dance about how the diagnostic (run twice) was not really the problem and they would need me to do (and pay) for a third to find REAL problem. Few months later, decide to try them on buying a new pilot. Told them were still considering other makes and wanted to test drive - (NOT buying today) and still given all the song and dance. Realized I had left something in my car that I was considering trading in when and IF we were going to buy a pilot, and found they had taken it upon themselves to relocate MY vehicle to the other side of the lot without my knowledge. Of course left without buying (like we had said we were going to do). Gave them a call back to clarify/confirm their best offer after calling around and not only would they not even tell us what the final offer had been on the vehicle or the trade in, but refused to give us ANY price over the phone unless we came back in! Ralph was nice enough, but very questionable tactics at Lucas...ultimately cost them a sale.P.S. yes i did buy a pilot at a competitor, got a better price on the pilot and the trade-in, and did all of it over the phone!

We went to Lucas Honda after internet search for used toyota avalons found an ad on auto trader and the internet price was 22,498, however after driving and liking the vehicle, it is now time for the negotiations to commence. The reason why I am giving them poor marks is the internet price was listed by the sales manager as 24,990 during the negotiation. That is about 2,500 more than what the ad showed. As of now I am rating this poorly due to the poor customer service I have been recieving as of late... My sales person was fine, but I noticed the car I bought had an alignment issue and have been calling to have the issue resolved but they keep on telling me thats its inherent to the car which is total bs. I cant reach my sales person and the Used Car Manager Mr. Austin doesn't seem to think its very important. When and IF this issue is resolved I will re-rate this dealer but as of now I am displeased with the service I have been recieving...

Deal directly with the internet manager. I gave him my best offer I found online and he was able to beat it by $300. I own 3 Honda's and have had all service done here - they fix everything the first time around. Lucas doesn't play games they give you their best the first time around.
