Wife and I found the exact car we were looking for. One problem? It was almost two hours away! We called and spoke with the Manager Marty who talked my wife through the process and was completely upfront and transparent from the start. We had been having a horrible experience at our local Honda dealer that's less than five minutes away- and decided this car was worth the drive because we had trusted the dealership so much so far. We drove up the following day to see the car. It was exactly as described, and the sales person Ashley was terrific. No hidden agenda and all fees/charges were explained in detail- and to be expected for registration etc.Additionally- the dealership offered to do proactive expensive maintence on the car as part of the deal. The entire time we were there we kept waiting for "the catch". There was none.They hired someone to deliver the car to us the following week and wait in line at the motor vehicle department for five hours. It was the best car buying experience we have ever had. When our other lease is up we are contemplating another visit to Greenfield!

I traveled to three other Honda dealerships in the area. I drove over 30 minutes to get to Lundgren and it was 100% worth it. Christine was wonderful - professional and straight forward. I got the best deal of all the Honda dealerships at Lundgren, and I got the best customer service. I would tell others: Don't finalize a deal with someone else until you check with Lundgren!

We traveled 100 miles to this dealership. They had the lowest prices by far and were so nice. They were honest and understanding. They never tried to sell us something that we didn't want or need. We never felt rushed and they even stayed late for us. They took care of all of the paperwork and running around for us and even delivered our new car to us! Went in to Lundgren Honda about a week ago to see if I could trade my Jeep wrangler for a new, more fuel efficient vehicle since my job requires me to drive my car at times. I was interested in the Honda fit but didn't know if I would be able to financially afford it. The minute I walked in I was immediately greeted with a warm welcoming. My sales person was Ashley. She let me test drive a 2015 Honda fit to see if was a car I would actually like, she was very knowledgeable about the car and made sure any questions or confusions I had were answered. I got an excellent trade in value for my Jeep from Marty, who also went the extra mile to get me the most value for my trade in, which I greatly appreciate. When I decided it was time to talk finances I met with Connie who was evenly as friendly and she worked with me and made sure I got a monthly payment I could afford. Usually dealers try and push you through a car sales, but this dealership is different. My experience here was excellent and I will be returning here for my cars service and for future purchases again.

We tend to keep our vehicles a long, long time, so we're not often in the market for a new car. We knew we preferred a local, family-run dealership, had done our homework about models and prices, and were prepared to spend "a while" finding the right replacement vehicle. However, we met with Andrew Merritt, test drove the models on our list, and after an in-depth conversation about each vehicle and our options (auto and financial), we decided to cut the search short and go with a 2015 CR-V. Andrew was helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with our questions and deliberations. Hondas tend to sell themselves, but Andrew (and also Marty and Connie) made the buying experience a very pleasant one. We'll definitely refer family and friends here and are very likely to return for the next vehicle.

I called up to schedule a $450.00 job on my mothers car and after explaining what I wanted Rob gave me a quick quiz and determined what I needed was actually under a warranty extension from Honda...... cost me nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!What a great way to treat a customer. Had he not told me about it I would have paid to have the car fixed and been out $450.00. I find it encouraging in this day and age of shops looking to make a quick buck that he took the time to ask and offer information that saved me ALOT of money. Thank you Rob

Having bought a few cars from various dealerships I walked into Lundgren with slight trepidation. However, between Marty and Christine the entire process could not possibly have been any easier. The dealership atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and not once did I feel pressured to make any purchase decisions. Christine made the process the easiest purchase I have ever made, right down to providing me with touch up paints for my new car! Having hated my last new car purchase (including the car itself), I felt relieved and excited, and so far my Honda Accord has been nothing but terrific.

So upbeat and friendly! Usually when I would go to another dealer in town for the Toyota I own, they would always put me in to a bad mood because they themselves were miserable. Well at Lundgren Honda it's the complete opposite!!! I am ALWAYS greeted with friendliness and courteousness from the receptionist/greeter (Maryanne) and Marty Kendrick will shake my hand and ask me about my kids when I come in for service! In the past, I would have preferred getting a root canal to having to buy a car. But Christine Pappas has transformed my attitude. She is very much a "no pressure, no hype" salesperson. She finds out what's important to you in a vehicle and then shows you your options. She also helps you think 'outside the box' (which is very useful in my case). She is well-informed, straightforward, patient in answering innumerable questions, and determined to make sure that you get a model you'll be happy with. I should add that the other folks we interacted with at the dealership were invariably pleasant and helpful.

I bought a 2015 Accord through Christine Pappas. It's the second time I've purchased a car through Christine and she makes me wish I bought cars more often! She's just an all-around good person--straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, warm, and funny. She learned my needs and preferences very quickly and was able to point out the benefits and drawbacks of various models for my particular situation. She was honest about features and products that really weren't worth the money for me (even though they might be valuable for someone in a different situation). She also tailors the test drive. Do you usually drive on narrow and twisty back roads? She's got them. Need to merge onto a highway while going uphill? No problem!While I've worked with Christine, the dealership has an overall good vibe. Interactions with everyone on the floor, the business manager and people in service have all been positive--it's just a pleasant place to be.

I had a great experience with Lundgren. They do all the pricing research to make sure they have the best prices available. Which means NO HAGGLING! That is the way to go, I went to Lia and Balise, the sales reps will talk to you then go talk to their manager, then back to you then back to the manager then the manager will come over and offer something you had no intentions of getting. 6 Year loans, higher price vehicle, lease etc. It was annoying. Lundgren cuts out all the bullspit.

I would rather go to a dentist and have teeth pulled than shop for a new or used automobile. My experience at Lundgren Honda in Greenfield however has changed my opinion. I was made to feel extremely welcome, appreciated and listened to. My time was not wasted with a lot of sales ploys or trying to talk me into something I did not want. There was no high pressure negotiating needed and it was always left for me to make the final decision. I ended up leasing another Honda Civic Hybrid and was amazed at how quickly my new car arrived. This is my second lease through Lundgren and it won't be my last shopping experience with them. The best part was their sharing in the excitement of my new vehicle and their really going all out to make sure I was totally satisfied. My past experience with their service department has also been just as outstanding. Brian was always very pleasant, professional and everything was done right the first time. I can't say enough good things about this dealership. It is nice to still find a place that puts such emphasis on Customer Service and Satisfaction. I never had the feeling that any of their staff was there just to have a job. They all care about helping their customers and filling their needs. Rick Cramm and Marty Kendrick were still on the job looking for potential vehicles even while I was making my final decision. There were no pressure tatics even after stopping in on several occasions to ask additional questions and test drive a vehicle with my wife. Great job gang and Thank You.

I turned in a lease Honda CRV and got a new one. Smooth transition. Transaction took longer than I thought it should. At dealership for 4 hours. I kept trying to leave and come back while they did paperwork but told almost done. Repeat customer paperwork should take a 1/2 hour.

From the moment we walked into the showroom and were greeted by Rick Cramm, to the final driveaway with our new car, we were totally delighted with the way we were treated by everyone there. My wife and I had both gone through lots of bad experiences when shopping for cars at dealerships, so we were ready for the worst. Instead, we wound up with the best. Christine Pappas and Marty Kendrick were absolutely fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any Honda purchase you may be considering. I am two hours away from their dealership as I live in Boston, but they had the exact car I was looking for. They worked with me over the phone knowing that the trip was pretty far. They gave me twice the value for my trade in that I was quoted over the phone with them as the condition of the car was better than I described. There was absolutely no pushy extras or excessive fees in any way on my purchase. They put my name on balloons over the car and were waiting for me at the door. I was floored by their friendliness and professionalism. As with many people, I've been told that buying a car is always an adversarial experience, but this time the exact opposite happened: Christine and Marty wanted to see a new car that had sat on their lot gone, and I wanted the car they had. I left with all the full factory warranties on my brand new car; and they cleared up a space on their lot. I'll be back their for scheduled service whenever I need it. What a great experience. I cannot speak highly enough of it. Oh, did I mention, they baked fresh cookies before I arrived and shared them with myself and my girlfriend. (Those were the most expensive cookies I've ever had!! :D ). Christine, thank you. Marty, thank you.

I recently had a terrible experience with a car purchased in a private deal. I went to Lundgren because I know the reputation of the sales and service department and because I personally know some of these people and know they are good folks. I was not disapointed! They went above and beyond to get me the right vehicle as quickly as possible and took care of all those annoying bits of paperwork and phone calls that make me crazy. I had known it was time to give up my high mileage car and starting looking to purchase a new or used car a few months back. I had shopped around at several other dealerships when I saw an ad for Lundgren. It was a relief to get a kind, calm, and knowledgeable sales person's help (without the normal sales pitch, or feeling rushed into a purchase). I really didn't want to purchase a car from a dealership who dresses up like turkeys in their tv commercials! Plus Lungren offers an extended warranty. I was helped by Rick, Marty and Connie and they were friendly and professional. I got a great car (2015 Honda Fit) at an excellent price, and I am very happy with my buying experience. I would recommend Lundgren Honda to anyone looking for a no-haggle buying experience and personal service.

We went out shopping for a Honda odyssey and visited 2 dealerships in Hampshire and Hampden counties. We wanted to buy a specific van at each place and began negotiations. We felt as if we were at an auction and that games were played. We were given a price then asked what were we willing to pay for the van. Each time we offered $500.00 less than their opening bid. The offer was refused and we walked out. My husband thought that there was a Honda dealership in Greenfield. I looked it up on my iPhone while he was driving and saw an ad for an Odessey with extras that we would want with a price that we liked. I called the dealership and talked with Marty to see if the van was still available. He said yes and I said we would be up in 25 minutes. We walked into the dealership and Michel helped us. The van was the exact price as advertised. No games played about the cost ($2,400) of the extra add-ons. We bought the car on the spot. Connie was very pleasant and helpful in completing all the necessary paperwork. I returned the next day with a bank check and my grandson. The staff were very welcoming and kind to having a 5 year old in the dealership. When I picked it up I had to make an appointment with Andrew. He spent 2 hours with me going over all the new technology in the car -- programing my IPhone and the radio. We highly recommend the Greenfield Lundgren dealership. The Odessey is a fantastic Grandma-mobile.

This is what it's all about. If someone is in need of a very understanding and fair automobile purchase experience, I would strongly recommend Lundgren Honda of Greenfield. For a person like myself with a very tarnished credit history, Lundgren was able to find a lender willing to work with me for a reasonable interest rate (all things considered). Student loan debt is a serious problem in this country and many, many graduates are faced with completely unmanageable debt, often with default all but assured. Unfortunately, I am among those afflicted with this problem and most lenders scoffed at the notion of working with me.Danielle at Lundgren saved me from having to deal with a "Buy here, pay here" situation (with a 29% APR) and helped me secure the PERFECT car for me - a like-new 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GT. The car flies, is very good on gas and I expect it'll last for many trouble-free years. I will always recommend Lundgren, not only for working with me but also being so friendly, approachable and hassle-free.

I knew I would be looking for a car in the Summer. I went into Lundgren Honda in Greenfield in early Spring. I told the saleswoman that I wouldn't be purchasing for a while. Even knowing this, she spent a considerable amount of time talking to me. No pressure, just talk, and i had a lot if questions. I explained that this would be my very first brand new car. I visited several dealerships in the process of deciding what I wanted. None of the staff in other dealerships made me feel as comfortable as I did with Christine Pappas. Many of the men I talked to appeared to not take me very seriously.When I went back to Lundgren in Greenfield, Christine remembered me. She remembered that this would be my first new car, and she was excited with me, and for me. Still no pressure. I just couldn't see myself going anywhere else. The day after I got my car, Christine came to my office, picked up my car and brought it back to the dealership to add some extras that I had wanted. Then, delivered it back to me. I will be sure to go there for oil changes etc. in the future. Why would I go anywhere else?

My experience at Lundgren of Greenfield was stress free. I was trying to decide between a Honda and Toyota (we have owned Toyota's for 20+ years) and Christine was helpful and informative in a way that did not feel pressured. I learned a ton about the car and Honda in particular. The car price was reasonable and not having to haggle was worth the trip by itself. The best thing is - she was so right - I LOVE MY NEW CAR. The experience I had with Lundgren was so much more then I could have asked for. After going to countless dealerships and getting the same "sales pitch" from each, I was disgruntled and discouraged when I walked into Lundgren. They turned my mood around RIGHT AWAY. They were helpful, polite, considerate, and extremely knowledgable. Christine was beyond amazing to work with - I never felt pressured and she was always available to assist with any questions or help me in any way needed. Her professionalism combined with such an amazing and outgoing personality made the process of buying a car FUN... which is something I didn't expect. Carolyn went above and beyond working with banks for me, and Fran and his easy and friendly demeanor made the entire office captivating. Not only will I surely be going back but I will be sure to spread the word, nothing but great people at Lundgren Honda!

I walked into lundgren Honda of Greenfield, I formally knew it as Lorenz Honda. I just moved back into the area and my parents had always gone to lorenz, so I figured I would go to lundgren as I only needed a key fob programmed for my Dodge Durango. I know they specialize in honda but I figured it was such a simple task that it would be ok that I was asking on behalf of my dodge. I walked into the service departemnt and asked if they could program my key fob from a dakota to a dodge and the person at the front desk clearly looked at me and said, "Does it look like we deal with dodges?". i was disgusted. I went to the parts dept. and there I got a nice answer of they can not do it and recommend that I go else where. I was disgusted with the front door person, which I believe was the service manager. He was rude and acted like I was stupid. Obviously I know enough about cars that the key fob has to be programmend. I just didnt know if they could do it or not, THEY DID NOT NEED TO BE RUDE!

We buy a car once every 3 decades (ok, a slight exaggeration) so we do a huge amount of homework prior to purchase. We live in southern Vermont and were about to buy in Boston, but discovered to our surprise that a little dealership close by in Greenfield Mass could be competitive. The entire selection and purchase process was open, pleasant and respectful. There was no disappearing with your car keys forever while your trade is being evaluated. Everyone was happy to help as needed. My wife truly hates shopping for cars and usually can't get out of a show room fast enough, but she had a very nice time working with Christine (who aside from being friendly, intelligent and funny is also quite knowledgeable). The building itself is well laid out. There is a nice drive in service area and work space/waiting room. The owner is accessible to the point of making his cell phone number publicly available. Earning business through transparency and customer service is clearly the plan there. Sales help was actually help, not pressure. At the beginning of the process I did not expect Lundgren to get our business, but they earned it and I'm glad they did.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with this group of people! Everyone I spoke to was helpful and friendly. As I understand it, the owner prides himself on the dealership's customer service. Based on my experience, he deserves every bit of this pride! Brian, my salesman, drove all the way to Connecticut to register my new car and did the delivery in the parking lot of our Motor Vehicle department! They worked with me every step of the way on this purchase. Clearly, they are a close group there since, each time I called, whoever answered the phone seemed to be familiar with exactly what car I bought and associated my name with my car. I am completely blown away by how well they treated me and took care of me! What a fantastic experience! I can't recommend this dealership enough and have already told everyone I come in contact with where I got my car and how nice these people are! Thank you to them all!

In mid August my wife and I were driving from our home in Grafton, MA to visit our daughter in northern Vermont. While on Route 2, heading West, I noticed the engine light on the dashboard had come on. As I drove, my wife checked the owner's manual and we decided that we needed to have this looked into. As we approached Greenfield we asked directions to a Honda dealer and were told of Lundgren. We found them and entered the service department and spoke with Peter. He had us pull into the service bay and then he had a tech come out and analyse the problem. We were assured that the computer code for the problem would not in any way impair the engine's performance. For all this very prompt and thoughtful service there was NO charge. We had never been to Lundgren prior to this visit, but would highly recommend this dealership to one and all. PS - the light still comes and goes on the dash and we still have had absolutely no problem. After driving my 1994 ford into the ground, I was in desperate need of a new car. My job consumes most of my life and I have little time during normal business hours to spend visiting dealerships.This was going to be my first "new" car and low and behold I visited over 20 dealerships, ranging from CT to Eastern MA. Either most dealerships are terrible or I just have poor luck with dealerships because I was put off by alot of the pressure sales tactics that some dealerships used.Lundgren was the bright spot in my car journey, they allowed me to wander around their lot and then Mary Kaeppel was there to assist me whenever I had any questions.I decided on a Honda Civic EX with Navigation and the car is astonishing. I went from about 15 miles to the gallon to about 45 so far. Mary and Lauren went above and beyond when processing all the paperwork, found the best possible financing and I was in my new car in no time at all.Such frank and honest sales people are to be honored and writing this review is the least I could do. When I need a new car in about 200,000 miles I will be returning to Lundgren.

We had been bringing our 2005 Element to serviced at Lorenz Honda in Greenfield MA and were surprised when the name changed to Lundgren. I was familiar with the dealership in Auburn MA, when I worked in Worcester many years ago, and was impressed with them then. Things haven't changed, with them continuing the same level of friendly service in Greenfield that both Lorenz and Lungren are known for. My wife and I had been considering updating our wheels and had looked at some new and used Hondas at Lundgren back in late 2010 and Mary spend at least an hour getting to know exaqctly what we expected in a new car. We weren't ready at the time but I had a really good feeling about the treatment, the interest, we received. With fuel prices going thru the roof now, we decided to upgrade our fuel economy, looking at the Civic, Insight and the Fit. I liked the new concepts behind the Insight but my wife really liked the Civic: so it was the 2012 Civic, of course with the sun roof!! Mary made sure that we drove whichever cars we wanted to try but it was the Civic for sure. She knew just about all of the features of the car; it is a 2012 after all, and not all the literature is out yet! We absolutely love driving the car, and we were made to feel we are real members of the Lundgren and Honda families.

I have always purchased Hondas from Lundgren Honda and have had the pleasure to deal with Don McEwen. When I needed a new Honda and found out he moved to the Lundgren Honda of Greenfield, I traveled from Worcester, 1 hour and 45 minutes one way, just to buy my car, once again, from Don. Don has always been straight-forward as well as accomodating in the business transactions. Don and his team treat you like a name, not a number. The people of Lundgren Honda of Greenfield were welcoming, pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure, only a willingness to help in finding exactly what you want in purchasing a car. There was no haggling about the trade in, either. I was very happy to trade in my 2001 crv for top dollar. Again, Don was open and honest about every aspect of the transaction. My husband and I were looking for a car for a few months, doing a lot of on-line research along with checking out many dealerships. We were checking out crossovers of all makes and models with many dealers and their high pressure sales (It is amazing how many dirty looks you get when you walk out the door). Then while visiting my cousins new home in Greenfield we noticed the Lundgren name on the new Honda dealership. We had great luck when we bought a previous car at lundgren in Auburn so we decided to check it out. We were very happy to find the same great customer service, no pressure sales just a friendly atmosphere and a great deal on a great car. Everyone that we dealt with were very helpful and we Love our new CR-V. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car.

We intially contacted Lundgren and were unable to maintain an appointment. We then contacted them via e-mail. They were very helpful. They answered all of our questions promptly and honestly. We have waited 7 years to purchase a new vehicle due to the sterotypical dealers taking advantage of us. We were very leery about purchasing. We explained what we wanted. Being a family of 4 with active children traveling for sports, we didn't think a lease was a possibility. The team at Lundgren (I stress team because they truly are) answered all of our questions, explained the leasing process and were straight forward the entire way. Once we entered the dealership, there were no hidden costs. No numbers changed. The staff was very friendly, even to our young children. After a test drive and a proposal, our leeriness sent us to another local dealer. They mocked us when we told them what Lundgren had offered us. The sales manager at this other dealer even told us that if that was the deal, we should take it cause it was great. He then said when they change it at the table, come back and see them. After our experience with this other dealer reinforced or doubt of car dealerships, we called Lundgren and finalized our deal. The deal was EXACTLY what they had told us, via e-mail, two weeks prior. They introduced us to their service staff, let our children draw on their windows and made us feel welcome everytime we went there. We are now the proud leasees of a 2011 Honda Odyssey LX. If you're looking for any type of vehicle, the team at Lundgren will steer you in the right direction. They are very low pressure and straight shooters. Thanks again Lundgren! We'll see you next summer for another vehicle.

I spotted a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country mini van in the lot of Lundgren Honda of Greenield as I drove by. My wife and I stopped in and were met with great courtesy and respect by our salesperson Mary. We met Don the general manager and other members of the dealership and found them all as nice to deal with as Mary. We bought the car that day and have been extremely happy with our new car and our experience with Lundgren Honda. We will definitely buy another car from them in the future.

This is our fifth car purchased from Lundgren Honda the other 4 cars were purchased at the Auburn MA location. We tried the Greenfield location for the first time because of the they had the vehicle I was looking for and was pleasantly surprised that we were treated the same as in Auburn. I was looking for a truck the day before Thanksgiving this year and the salesman from Greenfield brought the truck for me to test drive from my house. I was able to test drive the new truck for a day and finalize all paperwork on the day after Thanksgiving. The paperwork was brought to my home for me to sign they transfered plates from my trade and I was on my way. It is very hard for me to spend a lot of time at a dealership with my current job that takes me out of town on a daily basis. I was nice to have the flexiblity of Lundgren Honda of Greenfield to help with my lack of time to buy a car and that is the reason "why" I will continue to purchase my vehicles from Lundgren Honda's "one price car buy" Dealership.
