I am a mechanic by trade. This is the first time I have brought my car to a dealership for work, ever. I had them change my oil and fuel filter. It was about $30 more than If I did it by myself. They washed the car, and vacuumed It out before returning it to me. They are not like most dealerships and go around and try to find things that are wrong with it. Very friendly and upfront. I am very appreciative of this atmosphere and will gladly be returning to have service done here.

Almin A. was very professional, kind, and efficient when helping me trade in my old Kia and purchase a used Jetta. He did this in a very short amount of time, which was greatly appreciated. Also, I was never made to feely badly that I was not able to purchase a brand new car or even an expensive used car. Almin found me a car that I liked, could afford, and that met my needs. When we arrived to Park Place we had been to numerous dealerships trying to find the right vehicle for our family and future new driver in the household. We were fortunate that Frank Galvan came out to greet us while looking and offered us the keys if we wanted to take it for a drive by ourselves. Over the next couple days we thought things through and went back a second time to drive the vehicle to see if we still liked it. After sleeping on the decision we came back once again, agreed on a price and bought the vehicle. What made this a great experience for us was that we never felt any pressure, we appreciated the ability to drive the vehicle alone, & they were patient with all our questions. The icing on the cake was after the sale when Frank sat with our teenage driver to go over how everything works in the car and brought one of their mechanics out to go over the various fluids to check under the hood. That's real life stuff and I hope instilled a sense of responsibility within our teenage driver. Great job Park Place & Frank Galvan!!!

I just stopped in to get a quick price on a BMW lease and salesman James Taylor not only gave me the price on the car I was looking at, but also recommended a car that more options and was even cheaper and a better deal. My fiance and I made the drive down from the Twin Cities to check out a VW TDI Beetle that we spotted on Cars.com. We were introduced to Sam Castelli (sales) and he made us feel comfortable right away--we even hit it off on a personal level, talking a bit about our travel experience, hobbies, etc. Sam was both professional and had a great personal touch at the same time, and was not pushy at all (I've found that this is a quality that is hard to find in salespeople). The last experience we had at a dealership in Minneapolis (not VW) was the worst, high pressure place I'd been to, and that experience convinced us we would never go back again. Sam was anything but that, in fact I wanted to come back just to talk with him. He knew what we wanted for a vehicle, and didn't try to sell us on something else. When it came time to sign the paperwork it was simple, easy, straightforward, and didn't take as long as I thought it would, and Sam even stayed 30min after closing on a Friday to get it all done. When I picked up the car, it was detailed with a full tank in it, and Sam was extremely thorough with going over all operations of the vehicle (my first VW, I wasn't too familiar with all of the fancy tech). I highly recommend Park Place Motors, and working with Mr. Sam Castelli.

I wanted to replace my 2004 AUDI A6 with a used (a few years old) low mileage A6. I saw one on the lot that fit my needs. I started the process of finding out about it, got all my questions answered, got a good deal on my trade in and closed on the deal in one afternoon. My sales person, Michael Cornell, was very helpful. He answered my questions and when I wasn't sure what I needed to know about the car functions (including the electronics) he gave me enough basics without going into too much detail so I could figure the rest out on my own.

James Taylor was very responsive and honest to my initial inquiries, and didn't constantly badger me to come in and check out the vehicle i was interested in. Paul Cushmann helped me when I got there and he was very inviting, he told me facts and was straight with me. He never pushed anything and kept everything to the point, which was great. Dan and Rob in finance made everything extremely quick, when I came back and ready to purchase, I was in and out within 20 minutes, I couldn't believe how quick it was. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, just suggested things that would be of benefit. Previous dealings with finance guys much more pushy and aggressive sales pitches, these guys were the exact opposite. The previous car buying experience was a nightmare with Brenengen Auto in West Salem, WI, but Park Place Motors in Rochester was awesome and I'm so glad I was able to do business with them...Thanks to everyone that helped for making it a great experience for me! I'll definitely refer anyone to them and hope to do business again in the future.

We called The service representative, Jeff Bradshaw, after telling him where we were, he found the closest dealer, Lithia VW is n Des Moines Iowa and informed them of our problem. I purchased the car a year ago and it was due for an oil change. Scheduled the appointment - very courteous and helpful service people. Arrived as scheduled, drove up to the automatic overhead door, opened, drove in, and was greeted by A.J. I had a couple issues he helped me with. He provided me with a wonderful car to drive to the mall and have lunch while they were servicing my vehicle. Approximately 20 minutes before I could pick up the car, the service department called and said the car was being washed and it could be picked up at my convenience. The service department at Park Place Motors is top notch. I have to drive 70 miles to get to Park Place Motors. The service manager reviewed the problem with my 2014 Passat that I had told them about during the scheduling process. They asked if there was anything else they should look at. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. Everyone asked if they could get me coffee or a ride somewhere. Very courteous. They had to order replacement parts, so they set me up with a 2014 Passat loaner vehicle. My car was repaired within 36 hours. The receipt for the work had very specific documentation of the work performed and the parts replaced...ALL at no cost to me. This is a great place to purchase a new or used vehicle. Fantastic service department.

I worked with Sam on the purchase of our new, used, vehicle. I came right after work, which happened to be 10 minutes before close, and without hesitation, he asked if we needed help. He did not rush us, and answered all of our questions. Sam never threw a hard close at us, and I never felt obligated to make the purchase for keeping him after hours. After previous experience at other dealerships I would be hard pressed to go outside the Luther Dealership family if this is how they operate. We did have one minor issue with the vehicle making a noise, and Kevin Pose immediately had us bring in the vehicle and gave us a loaner vehicle while it was looked at. Kevin fixed the problem right away and apologize multiple times for the problem, which wasn't a problem because of the way he handled it. Again, just another reason that will bring me back to Park Place in the future for my next vehicle.

This entire dealership is friendly, very respectful of your time, and they do great work. I didn't purchase my car here, but after going through terrible service at Witham, I decided to give Park Place Motors a shot. Not only did they schedule me in, they were flexible when I couldn't make it due to weather issues. The were able to order the correct part (which was a complete battle at Witham), serviced it quickly, offered me a shuttle to wherever I wanted to go (or a rental if I wanted). On my first visit I used the shuttle, and both drivers were very friendly and ready to drive. The second visit was much shorter, and their lobby area was comfortable, provided coffee, water, snacks. I didn't come across anyone in the dealership that was unfriendly. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone, and will come back to purchase our next vehicle here.

After a terrible experience with my local Kia dealership drove to Rochester out of pure frustration and resolution to find a dealership who would treat me fairly. Couldn't have been happier to make the drive, as the experience was a completely positive experience. Drove away in a brand new Kia Optima and love it!! Great sales people and absolutely no pressure to buy...and they willingly stayed 2 hours past closing time to make sure all the paperwork was signed, I knew about the features of my new vehicle, and was ready to go. Had my choice of vehicles on the lot, whereas my local dealership only offered me one option and highly pressured me to buy that vehicle. Will highly recommend the Rochester Kia dealership to my family or friends but won't ever go back to local dealership.

I was shopping for a quality used car and was in a position of paying by check so I was ready for a duel. The salesman had the vehicle I was interested in ready to go for a test drive which we had made arrangements for the day before. After a short test drive we agreed on the sticker price which was 2 to 3 thousand less than the metro area dealers and according to Carfax was around 6 or 7 hundred over value. All in all, it was a quick and pleasant experience and have reccomended them to others.

I called them to find out if there were any open recalls on a Volkswagen we had just bought. I was told there were 2. I set up an appointment for the next week. Move personal schedules around so the car could be dropped off for 3 hours for the recall work. Drove 30 miles one way and dropped the car off. 50 minutes after it was dropped off, I get a call, the recalls had expired, but they would do the work for a charge! What a way to get business. I called ahead, they had a week lead time, and they waited till they had the car to verify the recalls. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!

There's always a certain level of hesitancy when taking your vehicle somewhere for service when you didn't purchase from them...No need to worry with Park Place. Joshua does an amazing job in the Service Department. First time of bringing my car for low maintenance. My mom had a Mayo appointment so since i was in the area it seemed convenient to bring my car to Luther Park Place Motors. My appt. was at 9:15am. I dropped the car off at 5:00AM and was going to pick it up after we were done with my mom's doctoring. They called me at 8:30am letting me know my car was done. I thought "wow" it was done even before my initial appoitment. They also asked if I needed a shuttle and let me know the time of the last pick-up. I didn't end up using the shuttle and was dropped off by my parents. Very happy with the quick service, for going through what they did and for the quality of work.

Jeff at the VW Service desk was a great pleasure to work with. He was thorough and patient with me. The mechanics worked in a quick fashion and would have had my car back on the road the same day if it weren't for the cost. I passed on getting my car completely fixed at Park Place because of the cost. It's an old car, VW parts are extremely expensive. I opted to purchase after market parts which for me was much more feasible, all things considered. None-the-less, working with Park Place was great!

If the makers of the car advertise the optional colors, then they should have all of those colors of cars available. But the staff were very nice and helpful, they did not pressure me at all.

I went to Park Place Motors because they offered a discount through the USAA car buying service. Twin cities dealers were pretty much after full sticker price. My buying experience was pleasant although I waited four months for delivery instead of the two I was told to expect. The car itself is fantastic and I highly recommend the new diesel engine. Just had my first 5000 mile service which was completed in under two hours on the day and at the time of day I requested. So far, so good with Park Place Motors.

We will never buy another vehicle from this place again. Of course the sales guys are nice...they want you to buy a vehicle. The service is all show with no delivery. We have taken our vehicle back here 4 times now for service. Living 40 miles away, it makes it an effort to get bring our vehicle there for service. Every time we have brought our vehicle in for service we have to bring it back twice to actually get the issue resolved. Not sure if they try to MacGyver the parts together or if the mechanics are just that incompetent they can't just replace the part and make it a single visit deal. I see the reviews are all 5 stars....as a person that specializes in Search Engine Optimization I know the marketing tactics dealerships use to ensure they have high ratings and good reviews. Try actually contacting the people that leave these 5 star reviews sometime... We made a mistake buying a vehicle here with the 100,000 mile extended warranty. It won't happen again. I apologize to the friends we referred. The service is sub par and what is the point of buying a behicle if you can't get it fixed by knowledgeable people?

We had a recall notice since last November on our 08 kia optima....our fault that we live 45 minutes away and that we get all our service done at the local ford garage 15 minutes from home so our records don't show for kia. Anyhow we wanted fast in& out recall service with no hassle or car wash or lolligagging & that's what we got. In& out in 30 minutes . We were pleased cause it was supposed to take an hour. I noticed our paperwork said we needed a 60k service after park place fixed the recall .....our car has 141k miles.....again....nothing we've had done at ford must show up but we have had all scheduled maintenance x's 3 and then some, done to our car, because I am meticulous about these things. I'm gonna get 400,000 miles out of this ~ paid off little gem!! Well my kids are at least ! I'd come back and check out those sharp looking BMW's some time.

The other dealerships weren't even close, which more than justified the drive down from Minneapolis. The buying process was straightforward, no haggling was involved and Ron kept us apprised as our car was being built and shipped over to the US. We just picked our car up two days ago and the process was very easy. We did a trade-in and received a very fair amount for that car. They were even able to beat the very low-rate financing I had previously arranged, so we ended up financing through them as well. Every part of the process was excellent: pricing, customer service and facilities, we will definitely be keeping them in mind the next time we're in the market for a car!

We purchased our first car from Park Place Motors. The buying process took a very long time- we were there for about 4 hours. I was surprised that the vehicle had not already been detailed when we test drove it. There were chips in the windshield and we asked them to replace the windshield. Ideally the vehicle would have been detailed and ready to go as soon as they put it up for sale. We then had to take it to a Luther dealership closer to our home a few days after purchasing it, which was fine but a bit of a hassle. It has been over a week since we have had the car and we are still waiting for them to call us and let us know when we can bring it in to have it properly detailed. We have called multiple times and still have not heard back on when to bring it in. The buying process was ok, but I did not like feeling pressured to buy the warranty from the finance department. I am glad we ended up not purchasing it though, because I later found out that my credit union offered the same warranty for half the cost of the dealership! Overall, I would say my experience was average- not terrible but also not fantastic.

I had a technician, Matt, check the car over. He was the most knowledgeable and accomodating tech I have ever encountered. This man is a professional. Found the X5 on an Internet site. It looked like what I was looking for and I called and talked to Paul Cushman, who did everything he could to acquaint me with the car. Sent lots of pictures, CarFax and other history and documentation and we discussed several times. Agreed to buy subject to seeing it and drove up from Iowa several days later to close. Paul called beforehand to apologize that he had another committment at the time I could get there. He arranged to have James Taylor "standing by" for review and delivery. James was also very professional and helpful. We didn't get to go through the full delivery orientation because of time/travel constraints, but James got in a great "short version"! All in all, the entire process was handled exceptionally well by Paul, James and the staff (thanks, Mary!). I may not be able to return for service, etc., (its a bit far from home) but will certainly check back if/when I am looking for another car! Great experience!

Our Kia Sorento began experiencing some problems. The service department set up an appointment right away. When I brought it in, they quickly determined it would need transmission work and set me up with a loaner. It took a few days. As soon as I got the Sorento back, both the service department and Kia were checking up on the work to see if I was happy. There was still a slight issue and they set up another appointment right away. When I brought it in, we took a test drive and they determined they would need to keep it to thoroughly check it over so they gave me another loaner. This time everything was taken care of and the warranty covered it all. It's always worrying to have car repairs but Park Place and Kia made it easy and gave great service.

I was in the market for an AWD car from Audi or BMW. Park Place Motors had the best deal going that I could find in our region on a very nice 1-owner BMW 335xi. I got more than expected for my trade and their price for the BMW was very reasonable. In other dealers, I would have had to dicker on the price to get it close to the advertised price offered at Park Place. Financing was an easy process and there were lots of options with regards to term and payments. They really did a nice job detailing the car before delivery and it looks and runs like brand-new. Paul Cushman was a helpful and non-judgemental salesman, who got me the car I wanted pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I do not think Kias are his usual sale because he didn't have a whole lot to tell me about the car. I had done my own research though and was very confident in the car I purchased. I was offered an extended warranty by Dan who sent out my loan application, and was able to get me approved at a lower rate than my bank. The warranty offered seemed well worth the price. Dan was very kind and tried to get me to go with the loan he found, only I was very confident in staying with my Credit union since they can lower my interest rate over time. This,didn't seem to please Dan though and it almost felt like he didn't have time for me after I mentioned that I would stay with my bank. Overall, I had been searching for cars for awhie and had recieved more thorough information from another dealership and I also recieved fabulous financial advice from the other dealership even after I mentioned that I could NOT afford the car at that time. I found the best deal at park place but did not feel like the people had time to deal with me. I guess I was only buying a kia and not a more expensive vehicle so it was okay to treat me like this? Thanks to Paul, I survived my experience.

When we decided to drive down and see it in person, he had gone through extra effort to clean it up and had it ready for us. James was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles on his lot, and took the time to walk us through several tips and features. I recently went to Park Place to purchase an Audi A6 and upon walking the lot with Paul, one of the nicest men you will ever meet, he began telling my about the BMW 5 series and how it came with a 4 year maintenance program and so on. We spent nearly the entire afternoon going over each car, the pros and cons, the prices and features, and then I saw it. A beautiful gray 528i on the showroom floor. Well I bought it and took it home, but during the evening I was trying to setup several features that I wanted on the car only to find that this car did not have them. I called Paul and he said to bring it back and they would find a car with the features I desired. The next morning I did that and he jumped into action locating "the car" at another dealership and making the trade I now have a beautiful Sapphire Black 528i with everything I wanted on it. Paul made the entire process painless and in my opinion went well beyond what I expected from a car dealer. I now have a new friend in Paul, not to leave out Rob in finance. Also an ace. Without hesitation I would deal with Park Place again when looking for a vehicle.

I bought the car, Eric spent time showing me how to set the radio as well as explaining and demonstrating many other electronic devices. He also went through the manual with me. The car was detailed prior to me picking it up, it was gleaming, and spotless inside and out. The car itself was awesome. The service was excellent, the best I've ever experienced. I was introduced to the mechanic. I was shown around the dealership. Eric gave follow-up calls to see how I liked the beetle and to answer any questions. Although no repairs were needed, the detailing done was great. I was informed of how I could arrange for repairs if I should need them, and made aware of how they'd check tire pressure and fill my tires. I would recommend Luther Park vehicles to anyone I know.

I was informed that the factory recall repair on my vehicle would take approx. one hour. After 30 minutes in a very comfortable customer lounge, that was very well stocked with a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, TV news and an assortment of magazines and papers, I was informed my vehicle was finished being serviced and that they were just cleaning it up. 5 minutes later, they came back and got me, I took care of the paperwork and was out of the service department in under 45 minutes.

We were car shopping and looking at a Chevy Cruze, Nissan Altima, and the Kia Forte. I thought I would end up with a Nissan, as that was what I previously owned, but the new Kia Forte, blew my mind. I love my new 2013 Beetle Turbo Convertible and I have to thank Park Place Motors for finding it. After looking through the color and feature options available from VW I knew exactly what I wanted. Only one problem - there was not one available in the whole United States exactly like I wanted. After a frustrating search Frank Galvan and the team at Park Place motors found one just coming off the production line scheduled to go to a dealer in Ohio. I was lucky enough to have them contact the dealer and get it for me. Right now it's one of a kind and it's fun to know there won't be another one like it pulling up next to me at the stop lights! I just picked it up Tuesday night and I couldn't be happier. I'll be taking it in shortly to get some accessories added and they've been very helpful in that department as well. I do NOT recommend this dealership-go to Minneapolis to buy a BMW or Audi. When I went to look at their cars in March I noticed they had appreciable rust on the rotor plates and wheel parts. I made it clear that I did not want to drive off a new car with breaks parts that looked like that. They assured me that any rust was just surface and could be cleaned. I told them that I preferred a car off-the-truck. I was abruptly told "We're not getting anything" by Burl (manager) who also resorted to very aggressive sales tactics. After I complained to Audi corporate headquarters, the dealership called and negotiated a good deal on the car. They also promised rotor plates would be shiny and new looking. When I picked up the car, the brake parts still had rust, especially the rotor plates. i was told they attempted to clean/sand off the rust but that it did not work. I was assured the rust would wear off afterdriving and that this was normal for Minnesota. I paid for the car and left. Boy do I have regret and I feel duped. The rotor plates still are rusty after driving. I also noticed that there was a large 6" x 10" area with scratch marks on the rear bumper once i got the car home. I think this was retaliation because i complained to corporate about their aggressive sales tactics. i have since complained to Audi headquarters who say the dealer is unwilling to do anything else. Basically, too bad for me, we have your money. Right now, because the dealer is unwilling to help with this, Corporate is trying step in to help resolve the situation. They even looked at photos of the rotors and were appalled. What has set me off and caused me to write this review is that the dealership was misleading about the rust and had the nerve to try to convince me it was ok to drive a new car off their lot with rust. I believe they played me for a fool because i am a woman. I am very upset that this dealership finds it acceptable that new cars come off of their lot in that condition or perhaps they feel this is retribution for the deal I got on the car. Anyone I come across who is considering going to this dealership will hear my story.

Burned by the exended warranty

1) Purchased the 2005 Kia Amanti in late 2006 2) Was sold the "Advantage" extended Warranty contract by the dealer through Protective Asset Protection (The warranty company gets the advantage, not you) 3) Called the dealer, explained the car started blowing cold air from the driver's side, but hot air still comes out the passenger side. 4) Was told, "you have a great extended warranty" bring it in and we'll take a look. 5) They took a look ($109 of looking) told me they don't exactly know the problem, but it must be in the case with the blendor door, rod to door, etc and that is covered. If the case is cracked, then its not covered, but it would have taken an accident to break the case. Would take another 900+ dollars of labor to know for sure. 6) That sounds good, unlikely it'd be the case and probably covered, but 900+ dollars is alot to me. So I did a little research on the internet and find others with this issue, where it is a $1.78 clip which breaks that holds the rod to the blendor door, and makes the whole thing open and close. Now we don't know if its the clip, but we don't know if it isn't. So I had the dealer call back to ask what specifically in the case is "not" covered. Really wasn't getting a straight answer until I pushed for specifically "if its the clip that is broken" is it covered. Answer is NO. Clips and retainers are not covered. They are hardware, not mechanical. There you go. That's where the term advantage came from. Its not the warranty company's advantage. 7) Now you might ask why I complained about this on the dealer review. My service rep at the dealer still has the nerve to tell me have a great extended warranty contract. Well, I wonder how many parts rely on a clip or retainer in the entire car? Who knows. But this situations does. Also, I feel they were baiting me into this, with a false sense of security that since the case probably isn't broken, I'm probably OK. Probably being the key word. The service rep also can't explain why a clip that is required to make the whole mechanical blendor door open and close isn't covered. I can tell you it isn't because of the cost of the clip at 1 dollar and 78 cents. Two days later I called the warranty company myself. I was told, again, clips and retainers are note covered, and directed to page 6 of a section of the contract and told, Gee you should have read the contract. 8) Then I was called by the dealer last night at 7pm to follow up on my service appt. and to ask I was satisfied. I said No. She asked why. I simply told her I don't want to go over it again and would post it here, as the dealer also sent me an email asking for my review, and providing this link. Honestly if they cared if I wasn't happy, they could see that the morning I left with the car. Nobody cared at that time, and in fact the service rep stood in my face and challenged me on it, telling me this is only my opinion, the fact is the warranty is great. It is not. By the way, unrelated to this incident the Amanti mirrors have a mind of their own and change positions every once in a while. The dealer tried to fix this when the car was still under the KIA warranty (which by the way did cover this), but shortly thereafter, the mirrors just started doing it all over again. Both mirrors had actually been completely replaced. Well, by the time I went back in to tell them about it, next oil change or something, I was out of the KiA warranty and into this extended warranty which I had originally purchased. Sorry, this isn't covered under the extended warranty. We just live with that problem too. Every once in a while, we are spotting squirrels up in trees with our side mirrors.

I have purchased 15 vehicles from dealers in the past. Buying from Park Place was the easiest and most relaxing experience to date. They are not high pressure. Although we did not trade in a vehicle, they did submit a trade in offer which agreed with the online assesment tools as far as trade in price. Too many times, I have seen dealers try to undercut you on the price of your trade in, but not at Park Place. The finance department was also very easy to deal with. I was not encougage or felt guilty to buy gap insurance etc. Almin was our sales rep, and he delivered on promises that he had made after we bought the vehicle. I would definately use them again and recommend my friends to them!

Recently purchased a used car with the help of salesman James Taylor. Found the vehicle online and priced same as others on the market. Don't like buying cars as I usually feel taken, but James and the rest of the sales team gave us a fair value trade and we left feeling good. Vehicle check engine light came on a week later and they set an appointment to bring it in. Service department diagnosed the problem, have the parts on order, and a promise to fix the car at their expense when the parts come in. Service manager told me, we sold you the car, we'll fix it. Helped with purchasing my pre-owned BMW 525xi. Excellent service was done from the time they recieved this vehicle on trade, to the time they sold it. I especially liked that they had a list of services done to the vehicle, which clued me in to any past problems, and their solutions by the dealership. I worked with the salesman, Ron. He took care of us from start to finish on this deal, and we couldn't be happier with this vehicle. He was knowledgeable about the workings of the vehicle, all of the options, most of the history, and enjoyed the sales process. Financing did take a bit of time, but not at the fault of the dealership. I would certainly do business with this dealership again, and if not for the expected long life of the vehicle, I would do so sooner.

I had no idea my vehicle did all of the cool, new things it is equipped with. Thanks to James, I am able to get the most out of my new, awesome vehicle. I was debating between 3 VW Tiguans. He helped me make a decision for the best bang for my buck and most equipped vehicle...and believe it or not, NOT the most expensive. I will forever appreciate the honest help he provided me. I recently had to have my little VW Beetle towed in to your facility (Rochester, MN) and was really upset at the circumstances that led up to this. I spoke w/Jeff throughout this time and he was the one who set me up to get a new battery and headlamp for my car. He really deserves praise as I was so unhappy and didn't know anything about the towing process; Jeff went out of his way to reassure and guide me through what to expect. I don't think he had to do this. He could simply have said that once the car was brought in blah, blah, blah, but rather, he explained in a way that I could understand what the process would be from beginning to end. The service was taken care of right away and, again, Jeff called me every step of the way to let me know what was going on and what was found and what needed to be done. Thank you! I had been looking for a used GTI for awhile now and one showed up on CarSoup. I was looking for a 2008 6spd GTI. I called about an hour before I left down to Rochester to check it out. When I got there I saw it sitting right outside all nice and clean. Right away Eric let me test drive the car and check it out. As this being my first time purchasing a car, I was concerned about being pushed towards buying the car right away, however, I felt very comfortable and knew it was my decision. All my questions and concerns were answered right away. I was surprised how fast everything went. My only gripe was that I felt the document signing went too fast. Being my first car purchase, I felt that the documents could have been explained more clearly. Right before I left with the GTI, Eric showed me some of the features. I previously owned an older Jetta beforehand so I knew most of the controls (windshield wipers, lights,cruise control, etc.) Overall great price and service. The car drives great and looks beautiful. If only the snow didn't make it so dirty right away!

The sales lady was very accommodating whenever we called to look at a car and always had the vehicle warmed up and waiting by the door. However, when I picked up my car and the sales lady went over all the features of my Kia Sorento SX, she rushed through way too fast. She did everything herself and did not allow me time to practice with things like the iPhone connection, the navigation, or how to raise and lower the third row. The finance guy talked too fast. They may deal with this stuff everyday, but it's been 13 years since I bought a car, so things have changed a bit. I will say the car was IMMACULATE when I picked it up. The sales lady also allowed me to take the car for a couple hours when I test drove it as I had to attend a family function. This allowed me to get a good feel for the car, and it sold me.

Three years ago, almost to the day, we bought a Passat from James at Park Place. Last week one of our cars died and we immediately drove out to Park Place and asked for James. After buying the vehicle we noticed there was a smokey smell when the heat was running in the vehicle. In the end I purchased a certified pre-owned VW from Dan Bieber and from the first time we talked until i drove off the lot that day, Dan and all his colleagues, were very helpful through the whole process. I was even pleasantly surprised at the trade in value I got for my car. The car was spectacular, the service was great, what else can you ask for? I purchased a used vehicle two weeks ago from Karen. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, but I felt she was being pretty pushy about making the sale. I understand the way to make commission is to hustle, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. The vehicle I got wouldn't start when I first got in it, so they told me they replaced the battery. Also, there was a rattle that they said they took care of. Because it isn't sunroof weather, apparently they didn't think I would notice the big wad of fiberfill they stuffed in there to quiet the noise. I was also told when I purchased it that they had looked everything over. I finally took it in a week ago because I couldn't get the rear wiper to work. Turns out not only was the fuse blown, but the wiper motor didn't work. Makes me wonder what else they missed. The service department was very nice and the people very friendly. All in all, just an average experience.

In the end of August I came in to purchase a vehicle that I saw earlier in the day while driving through the lot. Almin came over to assist, we went for a test drive and I decided to purchase the car. He was a great salesman, said everything a car buyer would want to hear and was knowledgeable about the vehicle. I was helped by an older gentleman in the financing department that was wonderful. He chatted with us, talked about his daughter that was a teacher and was so friendly, honest, and helpful. Unfortunately after the purchase, my service went down hill. I had to bring the car back to fix the front bumper that was cracked, I was told by Almin that it would take a few days, but after over a week, two crappy rental cars, and a lot of extra miles on my car and a 1/2 tank of fuel used later I got my car back, but bumper looks great. After being promised by Almin prior to the purchase that he would get the the 2nd key to the vehicle, I asked him about it the day I got my car back, he said he would call the previous owner and let me know in a few days if he got it or not. I hadn't heard from him and it was getting close to December when my tabs were due and since I hadn't gotten a title or a card stating my tabs were due, I thought I'd call on the spare key and title at the same time. I talked with Almin who said that the state is backed up and slow, but I would have title within a week. Two weeks later, I called back and talked to a gal in the used car department who was helpful, but let me know that Almin was incorrect in telling me I would get my title that fast, but that I could go to the bureau and get tabs without the title, that would have been helpful when I called earlier. Hopefully when I go get tabs tomorrow what I am able to purchase them. I am so disappointed and disgusted with the service I go after buying the car. I feel like I was constantly lied to about all the issues I had after buying the car. I will never go back to Park Place and would never recommend that place to anyone unless I knew for sure that would not have the salesman that I had. The finance manager that I spoke to and the gal the I talked to were nice and knowledgeable, but the sales part of the business was very poor. Park Place lost a customer and I have spread the word about the awful service I received.

My husband and I drove 70 miles to look at Kia Souls. The salesman Ron called us from the information that I left online the night before.I told Ron that we were on our way there. He stated that he would pull out a few for us to test drive when we would arrive. He let us test drive without him riding along and answered all questions and never rushed us at all. He even pulled out a car for us to drive. We did purchase a 2013 Kia Soul in the color I even wanted. Great experience.

We brought our 2011 Kia Rio 5 to Park Place Motors in Rochester, MN for an oil/filter change and tire rotation, and overall inspection of operational parts and fluids. We were treated with great respect and went over every detail of service our car would receive, even going the "extra mile" in asking if they could wash our car when finished. During the inspection they found our visors were in need of replacing for newer models (at no charge). We will definitely return to Park Place for continued service.

That was when we were introduced to James Taylor. Not only does he share a name with a musical genius but he is quite the genius when it comes explaining how to look for a car to a first time car buyer. He didn't just go through the motions. He actually cared about what we were going through. He even mapped out the best option for my fiance and I after analyzing where we were in life and where we were with our budget. One of the things that I took away from the experience was that he did not rush us. He took the time to go through all of the details for every car that we looked at. My experience in buying a Kia Sorento through Jon was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. There was no pressure, just lots of information about the vehicle and answers to my questions/concerns as I voiced them. He was quck to respond on emails and phone calls and made it a very pleasant experience. Two weeks after purchasing my vehicle, I dealt with Kevin in service to remove a nail from a tire and repair the tire. Again, this was a very positive experience with prompt attention, very nice shuttle drivers,and good communication. Overall (so far), am pleased with my interaction with Park Place Motors personnel. Sales person and trade-in appraiser have been very pleasant to deal with. Little less satisfied with finance person - hard sell on stuff I didn't want. Car price was the best of the 3 BMW dealers in the area and trade-in price was fair. A couple of glitches in the pricing have occurred: 1) when price verification came after I committed to purchase the car, a navigation system had been included in the order, although I hadn't ordered it (because I had been waffling, I decided to keep it); 2) after order was placed and when arranging financing, noticed that another option had been added - automatic high beams, something I didn't/don't want. Sales person is trying to get a credit fo the option - will see where that effort goes. There also was an issue with my credit application being rejected, but that was fixed pretty quickly.

Brought my VW EOS in for recommended service. They did the service, made recommendations on near future needs and helped me learn how to use some of the features of the car. I bought the car from a private party, they weren't required to be so helpful, they just were. The shuttle rides and car wash was just added positives.

My wife and I were shopping for a used SUV. The sales rep was very friendly and did not pressure us into anything. He was very quick to respond to emails and follow-up questions we had on the car. We got a very fair deal on our vehicle and the buying process was quick and painless. After we had the car for a couple days, we noticed the driver's side power mirror wasn't functioning correctly and there wasd moisture in the tail light. They had us bring the car in and fixed our issues with no problem. Very professional dealership

I bought my Kia at another dealership and brought it to Kia for a possible leak. I wanted it looked at since it may be covered under warranty. I was very happy with the quick inspection and determination of the problem, the phone contact to explain it to me and the promptness in geting it fixed. I know one of the service managers, Josh Kern, and really enjoyed working with him. I even had questions about how to fold up the seats and two service managers were right there to assist me. VERY CLEAN working space which says a lot about the committment to care and service they provide.

Had overheating problems and called BMW motor club and they took it to park Place Motor Cars because it was the dealership that was close.They called me right away and said that it would take a week before they could look at it.a week went by and I called and they said it would be three days to a week before they could get to it.and there tech were sick or on vacation.I asked for manager and said that I have been patient and that I need my vehicle for work and he said he would keep a tech late and have him come in early the next morning. I got my vehicle two days later and was very unhappy with service that I received from Park Place!

Overall the buying process went well. I was disappoint in that there is no give on price and the low trade in value offered for my car. I did my homework & know I should of gotten a better trade in. I was just looking and came in to ask some questions. The dealer listened to what I wanted and directed me to what I expressed. There was no pressure about buying new rather than used. Everyone was very prompt with everything. Though the paperwork was not finish before the dealer was supposed to leave, she stayed and patiently showed me things about my car that I needed to know.

I brought my car in for a suspected leak on the rack and pinion found by my mechanic. At first the service man I spoke with tried to tell me it was probably something else because that doesn't happen at 48,000 miles like I had. I got a call finally from him at 5:00 when I was headed to pick my car up. He said in fact it WAS a leak and the part will be ordered and fixed free of charge since I was still under warranty. He also asked me if I had been staying up on my service maintenence and I said I had. He said he would double check to make sure like he didn't believe me. I wasn't impressed by that lack of trust in what I told him.

The travels began 2 weeks ago when I walked in to find literature about the New Beetle, just to see what was, and Ms. Klann greeted me after coming inside, got me the folder and said that if she could be of help, she would answer any question I might have. I left to peruse the folder. A week or better later we returned,she greeted us again, answered our questions, went for a test drive, found our trade-in price, and bought a 2012 VW Bug. Everybody was helpful, took time to explain anything we had questions about. Ms. Klann was great in her customer service to us.
