I had brought my 2002 Maxima in for a recall and while the work was being done my wife and I walked around the lot looking at the 2016 cars. I have been a fan of Nissan products for quite some time. I come from an auto service back ground and before I retired I noticed that a Nissan rarely came in for repairs aside from required maintenance. I own two Nissan Maximas a 2002 SE 6 speed and a 2002 GLE automatic. We were approached on the lot by Phil Alexander and I let him know that we were just looking as I didn't want to waste his time. He said it no problem and we just started to talk. I kept saying that I didn't want to waste his time and if he needed to go it was ok. My wife kept saying she like the Nissan Rogue and the last thing I expected to do was to buy a new car but I just told her that if she wanted it, then buy it. We spent some time looking at an Altima as it was quite a bit less costly but kept going back to the Rogue. Phil did an exceptional job and even followed us home, a 62 mile trip to deliver the car the same day and also to pick up our trade. Now I am terrible with names and all the business cards are in the truck and my wife has it at work. But I want to say the Fiance guy Nick was outstanding, Andrew who worked up the pricing and the actual deal. The customer service manager, who's name just flew out of my head. GOD I am getting old. Also the service department. I have never been in a dealership before where I didn't have to grid myself for the onslaught on high pressure sales. It simply didn't occur at Lynchburg Nissan. I am 67 years old and I have been driving and buying cars since 1967. So quite a few cars and an untold number of dealerships and this is the 1st time I have ever come away without of the feeling I had been taken to the cleaners. I did have a problem with the Rogue on the following day regarding the Nissan Intelligent locking system that didn't seem to want to work properly. I contacted the dealership and got it resolved. I got follow up calls from Phil, Nick and their customer service manager. In closing, even though its a 62 mile trip each way I will be using them to service the new vehicle and I am entertaining the purchase of a 370Z from them.

I went to Lynchburg Nissan with the intent to purchase a new Altima after receiving an email from Josh saying they were a true car dealer but after arriving to only find out the real price was $1000 more than what was given in his email. I had a price from another dealer who put it in writing what they would do and that's when they wanted to try to work with me, but things didn't feel right and my daughter said things aren't right. There were so many things that just seemed shady. So we left and went to another Nissan dealer out of this area I had a credit score just under 900, and Lynchburg Nissan knew it. It certainly paid off the dealer out of town knew I could purchase what I wanted and gave me a price almost a thousand under Lynchburg Nissan and a small processing fee and they sold a car. A couple weeks after purchasing my car from another dealership, I received a letter from Lynchburg Nissan telling me they were sorry my credit wasn't sufficient enough to purchase a car from them, when clearly that's not the case, such shady business practices. Sheldon was awesome and was the 2nd Sentra he sold me. I was impressed that he was very efficient through the whoe process. I started with a 78 Datsun, followed by 2 Sentras, then an 86 Pulsar. After that, 10 Sentras.I used to live in Ohio, and retired to Viginia in 2000. All 14 purchased from only 2 dealerships.

Sold me a used car that leaks when it rains. Told me they cleaned drains, still leaked, so they said it was the "heater box". Took to reputable mechanic and found drains had not been touched. We cleaned them completely, still leaked, thought it might be door seal. Salesman was supposed to get back with me, that was 2 months ago. Don't trust this place for any service at all if you buy a used car here. After the sale you are on your own, no matter what. I also suspect they discovered the leak when they did the final wash before they drove the car out to my family, and did not bother to tell us, or check any of the car floor pans for the black mold I discovered later when cleaning up the leak. I wondered why that final wash job was taking so long. They brought out the car right before closing up for the day.

I bought a used car from them a few months ago. I informed them of my budget, no exceptions, yet they continued to waste my entire day trying to get me to buy more expensive vehicles. A few days later, they finally worked with my budget, after implying that I would look at other dealerships. When I purchased the vehicle, there were a few aesthetic flaws that they agreed to fix. It took three weeks for them to finally fix those flaws. Knowing full well that I have a full-time job, they made me drive my car to and from the dealership, only to inform me that their "guy" was not in that day to fix the issues...this happened three different times. When they gave me a used car to borrow while they "fixed" the flaws, the salesman actually called me in the middle of my work day telling me that someone was interested in the borrowed car and told me to bring it to the dealership so they can switch cars with me. They had no respect for my time nor the gas expense from them having me constantly drive back and forth to their dealership. The salesman I dealt with from the beginning ended up being rude to me (via the text), probably because I was getting sick of it and demanded to speak to the manager. Go to the Carmax instead.

I went into Lynchburg Nissan to find a car for me and my 2 small children. I worked with Bill Hunter who was GREAT, but my good experience ends there. I have since taken the car back 8 times and my check engine light is back on. AC is broke and has been broken since I purchased and they will not fix it. 2 days after I bought it the check engine light came on and the wrong part was put in my car when I took it to get it serviced. When I took it back because the check engine light was on when I drove away from the service center, they lied and said they just forgot to cut the light off. 6 trips later they finally came clean and admitted to replacing the wrong part. Now I am fighting the battle to have my AC fixed and still have to take it in to find out why the check engine light is on again.Lastly, I gave them an extra 790 dollars when I bought the car. The charge was for any repairs that had to be done to get it ready to go on the lot. The managers are rude, the service people lie, and you get the run around like none other!!SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!I would avoid all lots in the Mabry Auto Group if possible. They seem to run shady business in general.

I had a horrible experience at this dealership, and have now found out that many others have as well. I found a car online, and despite the good price online, they told me I had to pay more because there are shop fees that have to be added onto the price. They also told me they would throw in "favors", which I would have to pay for! This place is full of con artists, and I would NEVER refer anyone to go here, not even my worst enemy. I am definitely letting it be known that this place is a joke.

I have never been more impressed with a car dealership, salesman, and the customer service I received since going to Nissan in Lynchburg VA. Robert Aguilar was a fantastic aide in helping me find the right car for me. My parents had just bought the new Nissan Rogue and suggested I stop by and see what Nissan had to offer. I walked in like a lost puppy, there were so many cars! SO many options! SO many choices!!!....Robert walked right up to me and casually made conversation about how he could assist me. There was no pressure from him, and coming from a typical woman who wanted every option open but yet can't make up her mind Robert answered all my questions and help guide me to the perfect car. He promoted a professional and friendly atmosphere. When I did decide to buy he treated me with the utmost respect throughout the entire process. He has truly impressed my mother and me. From start to finish I was out of there in no time at all, I was treated with such respect and concern for all my needs. I never once felt like a "sale" while I was at Nissan. My review is simple if youre looking for a good quality car or a good quality used vehicle, with friendly service and a service department, if needed behind them, you must go to Nissan in Lynchburg and ask for Robert Aguilar. You will not be disappointed but very pleased and satisfied. You will have a car dealer for life with them!!

Bought a clean 2005 Maxima from Sheldon Burford in July of 2012. Very nice car. No pressure sales. I'm not someone who likes being pushed into decisions; I can make up my own mind. Don't know if it was Sheldon's normal MO or just a good read of his customer, but he answered my questions and didn't apply any pressure to close the deal. He let me walk through that door at my own pace. Good move from a nice guy. Ask for Sheldon. You'll be glad you did.

I went to Lynchburg Nissan with high expectations, since I had been there a year ago and had a good experience, though I did not purchase then. I was shopping for the Frontier and Chad greeted me and my wife and was friendly and helpful. We test drove a vehicle and were very impressed with the ride, quality and features. I don't buy on impulse but the exact model I liked was in stock and Chad showed us all the features, so we decided to talk purchase. Chad continued to be very helpful, presenting us with several different financing options, answering all our questions and was never pushy or anything less than professional and cordial. After we decide to finance the purchase, Chris put together the paperwork quickly and explained the details to us clearly. We took delivery of the vehicle about an hour after started the purchase.

My son, who had recently purchased a truck from the Lynchburg Nissan dealership, introduced me to his salesman, Spanky McDaniel because he knew I was looking for a vehicle and had narrowed it down to a Versa or a Honda Fit. I had been to Nissan prior to this introduction but was not ready to make a choice at that time, and actually thought I would be buying a used vehicle. After much research and many trips to various dealerships, I decided to look at 2011 vehicles, hoping to wait until the new cars were one the lots so that I could get the best price. Unfortunately, the vehicle I owned developed a serious problem, and I was forced to make a decision sooner than expected.I made contact with the gentlemen at a local Honda lot online and was told that a Fit would be arriving within a couple of days for a test drive; it sold before I made it to the dealership, but when I visited, I was presented with a fair deal and the promise that more Fits were on the way. Meanwhile, I wanted to give the Versa a chance so I went to the Nissan lot and spoke to Spanky about the possibility of matching the Fit price. I also asked about getting a white Versa and was told that they could get one from another lot. After driving the Fit (and finding out that the white one I requested would not be available), I tired the Versa again and contacted a couple of Transmission experts about the best choice for where I live (in the mountains, on a ridge, with a steep gravel drive)and finally settled on the Nissan. Spanky, Demond, and the financial expert worked everything out within a couple of days. We traded in an older vehicle (with some problems) and got a good price on the Versa (I could have gone back to Roanoke and bargained for a better price according to information on the Internet) and I've quit thinking about better deals and am concentrating on enjoying my new car! I love the pinstripe (a surprise) and the room in the back seat and am especially excited about watching the mileage creep up as the gas hand goes down--I drive quite a distance to work each day and needed a gas sipper.All in all, my experience at Lynchburg Nissan was enjoyable. Everyone I met there was gracious and pleasant.

We went to just look as my finances are tight, but they were able to find a good car at a good price for us. My wife was very hesitant, but the dealer was patient with her and myself. They were willing to stay past closing time to answer our questions and calm our fears. They worked with our budget and were very, very accommodating. The car was cleaned fairly decently (It was used and was owned previously by a woman with children.) The cleaning inside could have been done better as we found old and stale french fries in the nooks and crannies after we had already brought it home. However, the car was in good condition and even smelled like new.I am very pleased to now have a good vehicle for my wife to drive to work, and I would love to return to Lynchburg Nissan to purchase a new car when the time comes. The employees were friendly and know how to do their job. The manager intimidated my wife with his knowledge and abilities, but I was appreciative of his knowledge. Also, Roy was a blast to work with and a great conversationalist. He offered us food and drink, and even the fries from his dinner! My wife and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

This was the best car buying experience I have had (in a long time). I was a Potniac buyer for years and had a dealer and salesman that were great. As you know Pontiac is no longer and neither is that dealership not the salseman. I was nervous about my next car buying experience.Lynchburg Nissan and Andrew provided that same level of service and no-nonsense buying experience I was used to and thought was gone forever. I would definately go back to this dealership and to Andrew.

I was happy with all interactions and then I left the dealership. The windows were very streaky but I thought OK I can wash them.Well I tried to wash them and the streaks could not be removed. It was like there was a coating on the windows. I drove the car within a few days to Georgia and after driving into the sun tried to clean the windows again. No luck and had to drive the rest of the way to Georgia with windows that were not easy to see out of.Andrews managers appeared to be more interested in getting this car off the lot instead of making sure the car was in excellent shape. I might also add that the battery was dead in the showroom and we had to keep the car idling for awhile to charge the battery. This has not cause me problems after leaving the lot. I called the dealership when I was cleaning the windows in Georgia and I did not get a real positive response. They couldn't do anything at that point but I was trying to coach them and they did not appear to want any coaching. A simple thing like steaky windows made this buying experience a lot less than my expectations.Upon completion of sales they said they wanted all 10s on this survey. We they got mostly 4s because of their attention to detail.While I am coaching. It would have been nice to have Kyle respond to my email after I responded to several of his. But he didn't. I still bought but next time I may have to try someplace else. I have bought a number of cars from this dealership but with this purchase I would see a downward trend.I am trying to submit but you want all kinds of information about me. You have my email address or I couldn't get this. Let's get real.

There is a noticable difference in the attention and customer satisfaction presently. The willingness to deal and make reasonable offers on trade-in we were very well pleased. I cant remember the associate the that did outr financing and did not get his card, but he did an outstanding job as well.

We looked at the Malibu and Fusion but were not overly impressed. We like the Accord but not it's price point. This dealership just happened to be open on the last day of the month, and we were able to take a test drive of the Altima. Until we got into the vehicle, this car had not crossed our minds at all. Paul was great to deal with and made the experience a very pleasant one! What sold us on the deal was the ability to get full pay-off on our existing SUV loan. Our peace of mind is happy, as is our family budget. And, the car is truly FUN to drive!

I realized that I was not given my teacher discount for working in Lynchburg City Schools. They have a partnership with the dealership here. I am teacher and I was asked my place of employment by more than one person. I was asked by the superintendent of schools if I received my dicount and my answer was no. That made me sad.

WOW - this dealership is FANTASTIC! Top notch. Easiest new car experience EVER. My husband has a business relationship with the owner of this dealer - Chris Mabry - also FANTASTIC...we live 2 hours from this dealership - in another state - and did the whole deal via email and phone. Then...they delivered the car to us at no additional charge...they offered before I even asked! Absolutely the BEST, nicest, friendliest folks. Oh, and we got the top rated compact pickup truck in the process. So, top notch vehicles, too!!

I will recomend the dealership for the selection of cars an trucks. However something could have spent more time on the detail. My truck that I bought was bluetooth capable noone offer to pragram or review instruction on what I need to do to hook up . The truck I bought was a demo model now I understand the use of were an tear. But the offered a full detail the windows were streaked scuff markson the floor modeling. Cigraretts under the passanger seat. Was not impressed with the full detail. After returning with my truck an motorcycle felt very rushed and pushed away. After heraing 2 sales men in a heated dissusion about a customer who got away without getting the info.

Timothy and I have leased 3(three) and purchased 3 (three) vehicles from Lynchburg Nissan. I have done comparable research with numerous auto dealers and always go back to Lynchburg Nissan. The salesperson is always friendly and informative about their products as well as financial options available. What I really liked is that they knew I had checked around and instead of focusing on what other dealers did not have to offer they focused on the quality and great service Nissan offered. I will probably still check around for further purchases and if Nissan continues to offer great service, dependable products and exceptional salespeople as they have for me the past 10 years, I will defenitly be a life-long customer.ABOUT MY SALES PERSON: ANDREW KAPPLER was a perfect salesperson. He was VERY PATIENT with answering all questions that I had, and I had quite a few, about my new purchase. I changed my mind several times about the vehicle I wanted and the price I wanted to pay but he never got frustrated or impatient. He always gave me good and honest information. Andrew made it feel more like talking with a friend during my purchase than a salesperson. Andrew, without a doubt, went out of his way to make sure I was a happy customer. I quess that is why I always return to Lynchburg Nissan.

Make sure u have your own financeing cause they will try to rob u blind on the Apr thru sales management Mark. The salesman Bill Hunter was the best but the finance dept is sorry. I got approved with the same bank they gave me, but they Lynchburg Nissan gave me a higher rate and want change it .

This dealership is good but has so much potential to be great. I bought a used vehicle in February and have been back 3 times (to this point) for repairs that should have been taken care of before I picked the vehicle up. And I also paid for a repair of a tire sensor that they didn't take care of either. Right now, I'm sitting at the dealership waiting on what's wrong with the A/C (which I found out doesn't work either ). Spanky McDaniel has been a very good salesperson throughout this experience but I would prefer for all the problems on a vehicle to be found and fixed, either before I pick the vehicle up or within a reasonable amount of time. Not waiting over a month for everything to get fixed.

Though we didnt get the exact vehicle we were after we did end in a compromise. The most outstanding moment however was when the finance dept. actually called the bank in order to get us the approval that we wanted on our terms.We did spend the entire day there and would have liked the opportunity to drive more than the 2 vehicles that was offered. I feel the dealership in a whole needs more inventory for the salesmen to work with.

I probably have visited most every dealership in the Lynchburg Bedford and Roanoke area in the last three months. Two dealerships stood out in their effort for my business, one of which was Mabry Automotive Group.My sales associate with Mabry was Nick Kameno and after initilly not being able to come together on a new truck at the end of the year Nick kept me in mind and when a truck he thought was more suitable for myself came along he called me in for a look.I must say I was hesitant when he told me it was red in color but it turned out to be a much better looking vehicle than I could have ever imagined and with low mileage to boot the long road for Nick to sell me was on.I can only hope that most of Nick's customers are easier to please than I was but he showed great patience and after several visits putting him through the ringer I was happy wirh the final pricing on MY Nissian Titan and a deal was struck.My wife's truck has 100,000 miles on it and when we decide to replace it Nick will be the first person we contact.Other people I have talked with seem to come to the same assessment about MAG, they really seem to try harder to earn and keep your business.Thanks again,Kenny May
