The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. There were two people that stood out on this particular visit. My two year old and I were sitting in the waiting area and the sales manager walked by; my son said where's he going momma. I said I didn't know but before I could finish explain; he quickly came back and said "young man what did you ask" so my son preceded to ask him what he was doing and where he was going. That clead to about 5-7 min convo between my two year old and the sales manager. I'm sure he was busy but he decided to take a few minutes to acknowledge my son and to speak with him and that really stood out to me. The next person was a customer service relations lady that basically did the same thing. The friendliness of the Satff means a lot to me.

I had purchased Nissans from Lynn Layton several years ago (4 Nissans in the past) but my last new car purchase was a Buick... I had always had great service from James and the service Dept so when I began to look for a new car, I called James and spoke with him concerning my concerns because I have had neck surgery and was concerned about the comfort available in a Nissan car. I have a lot of neck pain due to an injury and surgery in my neck. I followed his recommendation and came to the lot and took a test drive. My salesman was Danny Boyles and he was very helpful in describing all that Nissan offered in a comfortable ride. We were able to work out the numbers for my trade and I purchased another Altima, which I had owned before. So far I am pleased with the comfort and ride of my new purchase. One of the most frustrating purchases for me has always been vehicle transactions. The pressure, the tactics, the amount of my day that is consumed has pushed me away from making a purchase until I just could not hold out any longer. That was not my experience with Lynn Layton and my sales representative Forest Vaughn. Forest had the vehicle waiting for me when I arrived. He was knowledgeable about vehicle and did not pressure me after the drive. I was able to make my decision in my own time. Very professional and very impressive. This is my second purchase from Lynn Layton and the entire experience was worth the drive to Decatur. The entire staff seemed dedicated to making the experience as pleasant as possible. I would like to say what a awesome experience we had at Lynn Layton. We had already looked at other dealerships locally and what we found was the circus had come to town. I can't tell you how ridiculous our experience was at other dealerships. When we walked into Lynn Layton at that moment we already knew this was our place to do business. The sales team was professional and really listened to what we wanted. They knew their product they were selling and it was all about information about the car, not what they wanted to push on us. We were trading in a vehicle and they gave us 2K more than anyone else had to offer for our trade-in and they came of the list price on the new car dramatically. They wrapped the package up and with a big red bow on top, how could we say no? We now are a huge fan of Lynn Layton and we are home.

The CUE display screen on my 2014 CTS cracked and I was not sure why. I asked if Cadillac would cover a replacement. Lynn Layton said that it was under warranty and they ordered it for me so they could replace it. I later found out that other owners had had the same or similar problem with the CUE display in their Cadillac. I believe it may have been caused by a heat issue. My wife had noticed it after we had been to Pidgeon Forge, TN this past summer. The car was parked outside in extremely hot weather one day while we were their. The temperatures were near 100 degrees. Not sure if this is what caused it but I have no other explanation. I really appreciate Lynn Layton Cadillac taking care of it for me.

If your trade-in has equity they will tell you that you have equity and if your trade-in is upside down they will tell you your trade-in is upside down. In the past I always dread talking to a car salesman, but My husband and I came in on a Saturday and looked at cars and spoke to Forest Vaughn, and when I came back in on Monday, I made sure I asked for him. We recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Versa SV. My wife and I had been through bankruptcy in Oct 2013 and didn't think we could get a car at a reputable dealer but Lynn Layton Nissan proved us wrong. When our van broke down we called Lynn Layton because they were recommended by Redstone FCU and we spoke with Randy Bryant. He was very helpful and accommodating. He listened to our situation and was extremely helpful. He was honest and went above and beyond to get us what we were looking for and within our budget constraints. When we arrived to pick up the car, he was waiting and met us outside. He had the car ready for us to take a drive and the process was very smooth. We took our Chevy truck to Lynn Layton Nissan to get it repaired because our experience with the Nissan Service Department has been so positive with our Nissan Altima. Even though we were not there to trade vehicles, we thought we would look around to see what was new while we were there. Norris Gholston was very prompt and courteous to answer questions and assist with a test drive without pressuring us to buy anything. Within a couple hours from driving on the lot, we drove away with a new Frontier 4x4 truck that we love! This experience was probably the easiest and most pleasant vehicle purchase that we have ever made. Car shopping is exhausting but not when you go to Lynn Layton Nissan in Decatur Alabama. We recently purchased our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder from Mike Mendez. Mike was so good at getting us exactly what we wanted and needed, even when we didn't know ourselves. The Nissan Pathfinder wasn't even on our radar but when we saw that vehicle, my husband and I both loved it. It was holiday but Mike stayed late to ensure we got our new SUV that day. On 9/27/2011 I called the service dept, at Lynn Layton Nissan Decatur, AL, to get an estimate for a tune up on my 2001 Nissan Frontier pickup. I had already contacted 4 other mechanics in town for estimates, all came to around $450. I talked to James on the phone, I told him I wanted a tune up (which every mechanics knows that means new plugs, point, and wires). He ask me how many miles on the truck. I said 60,000, the he said you need the 60,000 mile service, that includes an oil change, and cost $399, he went on to say we only use Nissan parts and you can trust us. I decided to let them do it, when I got to the service center, the guy I talked to on the phone was not there. So I talked to a guy named Jim. I told him I needed a tune up, because I am starting a new job, that will require me to drive over 400 miles a week. He ask how many miles on the truck, I told him 60,000. Then he said you need the 60,000 mile service. He told me it would cost $399. I told him that I didn't not an oil change. Which he said that would save about $50. I also said I thought the belt might need to be replaced. He said that would be an extra $130. He knowingly let me think that I was getting a tune up, all they did was replace the belts, add some fuel and oil additive, and do an inspection. It cost me $488.18. When I got home I looked under the hood to see the new wires to realize I still had the old ones. I called the service center to find out why, Jim said we never discussed a tune up, and that would cost a lot more. He had a attitude about it. He new he mislead me about the work, there was no way I would have let them do the service, if I knew that it was only a inspection, when I could have gotten a full tune up at other places for almost the same price. I wonder how many people have been tricked this way.The invoice number on my bill is 195753.

I was looking for a very specific used car and found it at Lynn Layton. I spoke to Norris Goldston about buying the car and the fact that it would have to be shipped to me in Houston, TX. He was very quick with a shipping quote and a reasonable delivered price. We worked the deal over the phone and the team at Lynn Layton was able to deal with any hurdles easily and quickly. The car was delivered as described, and promptly. The over all experience was great. I am very happy with the car and the service provided by Lynn Layton. They never tried any shady dealer tactics, and went above and beyond what I expected of them. Especially considering, I am not likely to be a repeat customer because of the distance. Given the chance to do it all again, I would, without hesitation.Steve
