Just after purchasing a Chevvy Volt I noticed that it would not take a charge. I took it to the dealer and they made an appointment to replace the charging port. Shortly thereafter the car began to take a charge and continued to do so.When I returned to the dealer to have the replacement of the charging port replaced I suggested that perhaps we should wait on the replacement and the service manager agreed and said that if it malfunctioned again i should bring it right in and it would be repaired. I felt that my concerns were being answered in a prompt and courteous manner.

I went with a friend that purchased a car at Marchese Chevrolet. Daniel Gibson ,the sales representative was extremely informative and his service was outstanding! My friend purchased a manual 2010 Honda Civic; at the time she'd never driven a manual car before. Daniel extended his service so much he even spent extra time teaching her how to drive it!! Chris (finance) was very helpful as well--he made getting the car possible! I highly recommend this dealership! When it is time for me to purchase another car, I will definitely be visiting Marchese Chevrolet!

Absolutely the worst dealer I have ever worked with. They had my truck for 3 months and were lying about everything. Went to the dealer when they said they were working on it and they never even started!!!. Very rude when picking up the truck. There was a new dash light that came on when i picked up the truck(that wasn't on when I dropped it off) Went back to the service manager and he said "not my problem" Brought it to my mechanic and it was a couple wires that they never connected again!!! Instead of saying "okay no problem we can take a look" he told me it had nothing to do with them! Very disappointing can not explain how upset I was throughout this whole process.

The rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They tried to bait and switch me with listing a lower price on carguru.com and then pretending that the post was "wrong". When I complained and tried to get an answer from the salesman, Daniel, he told me I was wrong, and I could just leave. I then asked to speak to a manager, Brian, who was joking with Daniel in the background. Brian told me not to be "snippy" and when I told him how rude Daniel was, he said Daniel is Canadian, that's how he comes across. They would not honor the price listed for the vehicle and were incredibly rude and unprofessional. STAY AWAY!

Our recent car purchase was our second purchase from Marchese. They are friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. They want you to get the best car for your budget, and treated us with dignity and respect. We visited other dealerships, but at every other dealership we ran into the typical pushy car salesmen. Marchese's employees seem to have a low turnover rate, which is a good thing, to see a familiar face every few years!

At first we were greeted by Rock the coolest dog ever! As my eight year old continued to beg for the cookies they had out; my two year old began to give Rock the dog nose kisses! Ian came over and was so down to earth and fun. I've never been to such a family friendly dealership. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Marchese Chevrolet and its staff, Ian-(Sales) and Chris-(Finance), for making my purchase an excellent experience and well worth my trip. Made a hour and fifteen minute trip from Sullivan County to their dealership.I called ahead and made sure vehicle was still available. I then went to dealership and told them what I expected to receive for my trade, what I was willing to make for a payment and after about 20 minutes I had an approval and they sent the new Tahoe I was purchasing into be prepped so I could drive the vehicle home that day. Vehicle came out of prep and again I was pleased that they took the time to go over every detail and make sure I was happy with the vehicle I was purchasing. I took the vehicle home to my wife as that was who I was purchasing it for and she was smiling from ear to ear. I am overjoyed and am thankful to have had such an excellent experience with a dealership such as Marchase Chevrolet. The thankfulness doesn't stop there. Two days later after purchasing the new Tahoe the dealership went to clean our trade in vehicle and one of the cleaners found my wife's credit card in the vehicle and was honest enough to turn it in. Walked in to look into possibly buying a certified used car. I spoke with Ian about my interest in a specific car and he walked me through the process in a very friendly and easy going manner. I never once felt like i was simply a walking dollar sign as you do with many other dealerships. Ian and everyone else quickly and professionally walked me through the process step by step. In financing; i was walked through each individual aspect, including extras and not once did i feel pushed to buy something i was not looking to buy. Each extra was very well explained and what would be recommended as well as what would be best for the needs of my individual car. I liked the laid back almost casual but yet professional feel to dealership, right down to the friendly dog that walks around and greets everyone he sees. I would not hesitate to buy from here again.

I was searching for the first vehicle that I would purchase with my own money and I was very interested in the Chevy Equinox SUV...I had visited another place before going to Marchese and I got an idea about price and whether I wanted to finance or lease. Ultimately I decided that the best option for me would be to lease a 2013 Equinox LT. The price the first dealer gave me was good but I wanted to check somewhere else before I made my decision. So one day my father and I decided to go down to Marchese since we only live a few minutes away. I had searched their inventory online before i went but I just wanted a better idea of what was available. We walked in and were introduced to Ken. We sat down with him and we told him what we were looking for. He told us what was available and he said he had a few LTs left, three of which were white and one Titanium gray. The latter one I saw on the website and I like the color so I asked if he would point us to that one. I loved the color and the interior so we asked if he could crunch some numbers for us. The entire time he was not pushy and he was very friendly about everything and made sure he gave us the best deal. We also got to talk to the manager in passing, who was also very friendly and very appreciative that we stopped in that day. What I was most surprised at is how smoothly everything went, and for me leasing for the first time and all, I had a great experience. Long story short, we put down on the lease that day, because the price and the service were EXCELLENT. I drove my new Equinox home that day and if felt great. I am completely satisfied with the service I got from the Marchese dealership and would happily buy again from them in the future.

The service and follow up prior to the sale were great. Ken is a low pressure kind of guy that you enjoy doing business with. Chris the money guy was friendly and helpful, particularly with some last minute changes. The truck was prepped pretty good, but missed a few bad spots around the windshield and bug deflector. (lots of dried stuff left in there from the trees.) I need to follow up on manual door locks not working. I like the way this dealership does business and would buy from them again

I went to this dealership because I have had negative dealings with other dealerships. I was waited on right away by Ken, the salesman for Marchese Chevrolet. I told him what I was looking for and told him my bottom line. He showed me a new Silverado in my price range and made the deal right away. They also took of my lease from another dealer. It was a very pleasant experience overall. I would recommend this dealer to anyone.

I specifically sought out Tom Ulbrich because he had sold my husband, and my daughter their cars at the dealership at which he had worked previously (that dealership had closed!) I received the same service I was expecting....courteous, cordial, with utmost concern for my needs, and wants. Even though Marchese is an out-of-the way location for me, it was definitely worth the trip. I was comfortable with the way I was dealt with. I did have an issue, but it was resolved with NO problem, and my satisfaction with my purchase appeared to be a concern for all involved. We generally keep our cars for MANY years, but when I do need a new car, I will definitely be returning to Marchese, and Tom.

I personally visited over 10 dealerships since being stationed in New York in June 2012. I have always been a loyal Chevrolet customer. Tom Ulbrich and the Marchese Chevrolet Team made my new vehicle experience an incredible one. I had lost hope after the first 10 dealers I visited since November 2012 for many negative reasons, and I wish I had started at Marchese Chevrolet. The atmosphere was extremely friendly, everyone was courteous and was able to hold a friendly conversation, and I did not feel pressured at any time. In fact, the original vehicle I was looking at was a great deal, but Tom went out of his way to find me a better one, and did not pressure me to buy either one. He consistently reminded me that it is a big decision and he would like for me to take my time and consider all of the factors, but that he would also like to take the extra time to assist me in making the right decision. I did not get the feeling that he was trying to get every cent possible from me. I honestly can say that Marchese Chevrolet is the best dealer I have been to in my 17 years of driving and always being a potential buyer. I have purchased vehicles in Connecticut, Texas, and now New York. This was definitely the best vehicle buying experience I have ever had. I will be sure to recommend Marchese Chevrolet, and specifically Tom Ulbrich, to anyone who is stationed with me at West Point, NY and interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle.

At the beginning of our car search I sorted through a lot of cars on line and based on our own criteria came up with a short list of eighteen cars. To my surprise the two cars that came out on top were both at Marchese - and we live right across the street from them! I took that as "a sign", also I liked their motto "where friends send friends" so decided to walk over and check them out. I met Tom and in spite of the fact that they are in the midst of reconstruction, I picked up on the small town, country dealership atmosphere which goes down well with me. We were looking for a used, certified, 2010 Malibu with low miles. Tom didn't have one in stock but by the following weekend he had one ready for a test drive with less than 18,000 on the clock. The price was a bit more than we wanted but using our trade-in and a competitive loan rate we were able to work it out. Now that car is sitting in our driveway just 100 yards up the hill from the dealership. Of course being in walking distance, we're well situated to take full advantage of the free servicing for the next 30,000 miles!

We worked with Ian and Chris during the purchase for our Dodge Avenger. They were a pleasure to work with during the sale. New Sales Manager is very personable. We had a negative experience with the prior Sales Manager who was very rude to us and we left. The only reason we came back was because Ian sent several emails to us about the car. My husband and I are pleased that there is a new Sales Manager who is interested in doing business with the customers instead of driving them away. Smart move to change personalities. We will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle in the future since we are a 4 car family. As far as referrals to other potential customers, we would certainly do as our experience was great with Ian and Chris.

I really needed a car badly after totaling mine in an accident. I pass Marchese Chevrolet everyday I go to work, so I checked their inventory online, saw that they had fair pricing and finance programs, so I called and made an appointment. Kevin Rogers was the sales associate that helped me. He was honest, friendly and very helpful. I have credit challenges at this time, but Mr. Rogers prayed with me and worked hard to get me approved for the vehicle of my choice. I am very pleased with my vehicle and with the service that I received from the Marchese Chevrolet family. Everyone was friendly and full of smiles, even their dog Rocky. Nothing but a 5 Star visit to Marchese Chevrolet. I have been searching for a 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Corvette for quite some time. I checked Marchese Chevrolet web site and found that they had my "dream car".I called the dealership and spoke with Ian Sparrow and he was very helpful and quite accurate regarding the vehicle description. I explained to Ian that this was the car I wanted but I lived 4 1/2 hours away from Marchese. Ian worked out the details and I spoke with Bryan Marchese and he allowed me to put down a deposit over the phone.Upon my arrival at Marchese I found the Corvette to be better than I had ever dreamed of. Ian showed me the car and within a few minutes I had purchased my dream Corvette. Bryan added an "I told you so" and the deal was done.The Corvette was freshly detailed and was ready when promised. Ian did a great job on the out of state paperwork and Chris was very helpful with securing the best terms for the bank loan and getting me a 2 years service contract.I was given good old fashion "fair and honest" treatment by everyone at Marchese Chevrolet. I contacted numerous dealerships regarding the purchase of an Equinox. Marchese had the best price by far, no one else could match it. I dealt with Efrain Garcai, who was very nice and even recognized me by my description as I walked to the dealership (we had emailed several times prior). I took the Equinox on a substantial test drive (maybe 1.5 miles) as opposed to other places that took me around the block. I took a train from NYC and drove over an hour home to deal with them and I'd do it again. I would have given 5 stars across the board if I didn't start to feel a little uncomfortably pressured about the warranty (by someone else, not Efrain), but nothing that would make me consider it anything but a pleasant dealing. Efrain was even very helpful after the purchase when I had messed up some information with my insurance and he cleared it up for me. They were definitely worth traveling the distance for me.

I visited both and they were fine but when it was time to buy, I hopped across the Bear Mountain Bridge and purchased the car from Marchese Chevrolet (whom I found on Cars.com and hadn't heard of previously). I found all employees to be courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. And the price I paid was fair and lower than what I was quoted by other dealers. I would highly recommend my salesperson, Ian Sparrow.

I love these guys. No hassle buying experience and very friendly staff. We bought a new Chevy Equinox from them after visiting several dealers. They were up front and honest from the very beginning. Would highly recommend. Ask for Chris or Efrain.

Bryan is cool. He knows alot about cars, and doesnt pressure to buy.The service is also great. We bought about 9 cars, both new and used from them, and have sent all our friends to see them as well. We live about 45 minutes from them, but would never go any where else!

In a nutshell, my wife bought a lemon here and they did nothing about it. In fact, they knowingly sold us one. Please do yourself a favor and spend your time and money anywhere else. The motto of this dealer is "where friends send friends." Not me!
