This has easily the best buying experience of my life. Not only did Donna give me a great deal.And trust me 35 YouTube videos were only the beginning of my research She drove over an hour to pick me up so I could buy the car. The two stayed then again for another hour well after closing to get me into the car. Friendly, honest, no pressure sales. This dealership is an absolute gem!

They never responded to my request for vehicle information. However, I did get several how did we do emails. I responded to thoseemails asking for more information and asking to speak to somebody and not one person contacted me. I even got an email from the general manager asking if there was anything he could do or answer any questions I responded to him and I got nothing.

About ten years ago, my family found Maritime Ford in Manitowoc for the first time. Sam was our salesman and became part of the family. We did in fact purchase our first vehicle from Maritime. Now ten years later, my family has purchased three vehicles from Maritime Ford. Still today, Sam is in contact with our family making sure we are happy with our vehicles and always there if we have questions about our vehicles. Maritime Ford always has the most reasonably priced used vehicles and great employees! I hope to continue keeping Maritime Ford vehicles in our family for a very long time!

My leased car was rear-ended and needed body work. The whole process went very smoothly - from quoting, to scheduling, and the repair (which was finished sooner than I expected). The body shop did excellent work and the car came back to me spotless inside and out, which was a very pleasant surprise, and much appreciated.

Craig, I would like you to be aware of some outstanding, and I mean truly outstanding, service provided to me by Jeremy Mancheski. He went above and beyond assistance when he helped rectify a problem with my windshield washer that needed to be repaired in a very short time as I was leaving for AZ in only two days. He picked up my vehicle in Allouez after the problem was initially not repaired upon a visit to the dealership ordered the part, had the washer repaired, and delivered the car back to me the next morning very promptly so I could pack the car. I found Maritime Ford on the internet and contacted them about a 2008 F250 they had. Ross the salesman did not pressure me but kept in contact with me. I decided to go see the truck just before New Years. The sales staff there was very friendly. The purchase experience was absolutely painless. When i left after completing the purchase I discovered they had fueled up the truck adding nearly 1/2 a tank of diesel if i remember correctly from the test drive. The truck had been washed as well. This was the best used vehicle purchase I've experience and will look them up again despite a 100 mile drive!

I have not bought a vehicle since 2002. My friends recommended I look for a used vehicle at Maritime. I was very impressed with Donna. She did not force anything, was genuine and very helpful. She acted quickly to get information that was needed and her communication was excellent. The only thing I question is the repair on the scratches they said they would do as they were deep and rust could set in quickly. It looked like it was just filled in without any buffing or anything to smooth around the area. It may be a misunderstanding on my part how that works. All in all I had a great experience and will not hesitate to recommend people to this dealership.

The last time I bought a car her was in 2000. I just bought a 2016 Explore. I have to say the whole experience was great. There is a completely different attitude here now. Would definitely go back. I can't comment on the repairs yet. Building is being house there right now and should be much better soon.

This was the smoothest experience I have ever had in my car buying life! I found the car online, made one phone call to schedule a test drive, found the car prepped and ready for me to not only drive but take home should I decide. Could not have asked for a better searching and buying experience, especially for being an out-of-towner (Green Bay). It took a total of two hours from arrival at Maritime to leaving the lot in my dream car! I thank everyone for all your help, support and laughter. Really felt like a family friend! They do not pressure you as a looker or buyer. They are not demeaning in their attitude toward a person who does not know all of the latest technology or lingo. I want to thank Sam at Maritime Ford in Manitowoc for the pleasure of working with him when I was looking for a new vehicle. He made it so comfortable for me, it really felt like I was talking to a friend through the whole process. When I began looking, I did JUST that, drove through parking lots looking at vehicles and stickers. Do you know that Sam was the only person at all the places I drove through (and I hit every single one in the area) that even noticed I was there? I never felt pressured, and he was available for me at any time of the day. I can't believe how quick the whole process went, and everything was taken care of for me. I had contacted lincoln through there website and was told what the value would be on the SUV I was trading in. I was then connected with sites that had the type of vehicle I was interested in. I then called Scott to inquire about a car at Maritime Ford. I was able to purchase this vehicle based on the information Scott and I exchanged. He was in the higher range on the Trade in and the price of the car I wanted was in my range. I purchased this car based on honest information from both parties. We were recently in the market for a newer truck. Not having the finances to purchase brand new custom ordered, I did a lot of research online to determine the amount of truck we needed - then how new could we afford??? We had just about given up finding the perfect truck for the price we needed when Maritime listed a 2008 Ford F-250 - the vehicle we needed - at the price we could afford. It sounded too good to be true and I thought for sure there was something wrong with the vehicle. We drove an hour and a half to get to Manitowoc and were very pleasantly surprised. We spoke with Don first. The vehicle had been listed with no pictures because it was so new to the lot. It needed a battery and shocks. It was not ready to roll off the lot that day. Don called his service department and asked them what they could do to make it happen. He then turned us over to DV (Donna Vankham) to complete the paperwork and the sale. Next it was over to Troy in finance. At each step of the process they were wonderful to work with. In fact, my husband was amazed at how fast the financing was completed and the paperwork signed! We traded in a much older truck and they were MORE than fair on the trade. We did not want to wait for the truck to be detailed because of the drive home and Maritime compensated us extremely well. We drove the vehicle home and have used it for a week now and it is running great - no issues. I would definitely buy from them again and I would definitely recommend them to friends and relatives! Great dealership!

I currently own a Ford Fusion. Recently I had a few letters come off the tail end of the vehicle that states the model of the car. I did not buy my car at Maritime, but thought I would stop in for a suggestion as to what to use to apply the letters back on. I spoke to Sammy F. about what had happened. He immediately took me over to Andy at the body shop to look at. He right away reapplied the letters with no question or charge. We were looking for a specific model (Taurus) and had looked around....when I contacted Maritime I was directed to Scott and he didn't "mess around" with a price. He gave me his "bottom line" "out the door price" and we decided to drive the 1 1/4 hours to check it out. We took a test drive and liked the car but had a few issues and talked to him and the manager and left with a positive feeling and they checked for us to see if they could do a better loan rate than our credit union and the DID! I would like to comment on the excellent service that my husband and I received when we came to test drive our 2009 Ford Explorer. We found the vehicle via the intranet and had hopes of getting the car moved to Sheboygan Falls well that all fell thru and we ended up dealing directly with Laura Hoftiezer when we came up to a test drive. Having to travel to Manitawoc was something that we found to be an inconvience but working with Laura proved to be well worth the travel. When we arrived she had the vehicle ready and plenty of gas for us to get in and go. She did a great job at explaining some of the 'bells and whistles' to us before we left the lot. My husband and I are not into 'pushy' sales and Laura made us feel comfortable thru all our conversations with her. When we came back up to pick up the vehicle and sign the paperwork she saved one last "bell" for us..the Explorer is equipped with remote start. NICE Surprise and even though it was dark and cold out she took the time to make sure we knew what we were doing, she even programed the keyless lock for me which I thought was fantastic. She even made sure that there was a full tank of gas before we left for the night, how great is that! Well that same night before we left she gave us her personal cell phone number incase we had any questions. Upon our return home I discovered that our remote for our garage door was left in the car and I called her after hours and told her about it and she said she would check it out first thing in the morning. She did just that and found our remote plus one other personal item and held them until I could come back up and get them. She has called us to see how we were enjoying our vehicle and has been very pleasant to work with. We have recommended her to friends and when the time comes that we are in need of another vehicle we will definitely be calling Laura to help us out again. Thank you Laura for everything!!!

My wife and I were looking for a F350 diesel to pull our horse trailer. I was having some work done on our trailer in Manitowoc and decided to look in the used truck section. There was a truck that we were interested in. I called Sam later that evening after discussing it with my wife and said I was interested in the Dually diesel. Came in Saturday morning to look at the truck and found out it was taken. Sam showed us another F350 diesel with the 7.3L in it with the four door short box. Took the truck for a test drive and decided this is what we wanted. The dually was a 6.0L. The only problem with the one we took was there was not a gooseneck in(traded our F250 in/gooseneck). Sam did everything to make sure the gooseneck was in for the trip we were taking a few days later. We have been buying vehicles from Maritime since 1999. There is a reason why we keep coming back. Keep up the good work Sam. Next vehicle we buy hope your still there.

Wow! I don't even know where to start. Found the vehicle online. Talked to Sam Fricke (who was nothing short of outstanding). Had photos sent. Looked at the carfax. My wife and I took a day off and drove 300+ miles to see and drive the vehicle. The vehicle was absolutely just-as-advertised. Great price. They checked out our trade-in and gave us a very fair price. Deal was struck. No drama. No arm-wrestling. Just that simple. Every person we met with and worked with was tremendous--fun loving, friendly and considerate. Knowing that we drove from far away and were traveling back the same day, they had paperwork going immediately, had the new vehicle full of gas, and even moved our stuff over from our old vehicle to the new. It's clear the people at Maritime enjoy their work and take pride in what they do. What a great place! I can't say enough good things about our experience and the poeple at Maritime. I recently traded in my chev uplander and bought a really neat Kia Spectra. Sam was my main salesperson , but on his day off Donna treated me just as if I was her customer. The Used car manager Don was more than fair with his offer on my trade. The muffler on the new car was a bit more sporty than I would have like so they made a special deal to share the cost ot a more silent muffler. Sam was on top of the install of the muffler although we had a bump in the road due to the old muffler was not a factory install and we needed extra parts for the changeout. The next appt. went faster than the installer even quoted and Sam even drove my new car to the shop to get things rolling. Don stood by his agreement to go halves on the install even though it took extra parts to do the change. I have used Maritime since moving to Manty two years ago and take both out cars there for servicing. It's a great place with great people. Keep up the good work.

I have bought three cars from Maritime Ford in the past two years. I have been very satisfied with everything about the dealership. No pressure and honest sales people. For example, I knew some information about a group of cars that were bought at an auction. When I spoke to the sales staff, they were completely honest with the facts about the vehicle. I had also won a coupon for a free oil change that Maritime Ford had donated to a charity golf tournament. Well I forgot about it and it explired. I called and spoke to the owner, Steve, and he said he would absolutely honor the expired coupon. I have told them the sort of vehicle I was looking for and have received several phone calls when one comes in. Friendly and honest will work for me everytime.

What a pleasant surprise to find everything exactly as we were told about the mini-van.Everyone was polite and helpful. If you are from a big city and are sick of the old High- Pressure sales routine, then you will find these people to be a refreshing change. My husband has been looking for a Taurus X for the last 18 months and was very familiar with what was out there. Yesterday his 1997 Ford Explorer (with 209k miles) decided enough was enough. Between his, my, and our daughter's schedules, one car was not enough. I chatted with Don, the Used Car Manager, through the website and found out more about the vehicle. He took a great deal of time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. Later that day he let me know that the vehicle had returned from a test drive and was still available. We drove up to Manitowoc today after dropping our daughter off at school. The vehicle seemed too good to be true. Don met us and took time to explain about the vehicle's history and answer even more questions. We looked at the Taurus and took it for a drive. It was everything we were both looking for. We agreed to look into financing, though the night before I had been quoted 18.99% from a lender we had worked with in the past. Troy and Kim worked with us on the financing and that is where I thought the good news would come to an end. We were very pleasantly surprised that Troy and Kim were able to find us financing that was WELL below the prior quote and worked into our budget with a modest down payment. Scott took the time to walk us through where things were in the vehicle and how it operated. I felt very comfortable as I made my way back to Milwaukee. All my daughter has been saying since I picked her up from school is "I love our new car!"Between my husband and I we have purchased at least 6 vehicles and we agreed that this was BY FAR the best experience either of us had ever had. There was no pressure at all during the day. We knew that at any time we could walk away, but never felt we needed to. Everything was explained from beginning to end including all the legal papers we needed to sign. When talking about this dealership to my Mom I was having trouble finding the right word to describe it and she give it to me - Integrity. This is not something I have felt in many of the dealings I have had with others in this industry.Would we go back - YES! Would we recommend Maritime to friends and family - Yes!! When my 2004 Malibu gives its last breath, will Maritime be the first place I look for a replacement vehicle - YES YES YES

Was on a serious hunt for a 4 Runner, from Green Bay down to Milwaukee. Then one evening online a very clean one shows up right down the road at Martime Ford. Stopped in to check out, and had the honor of meeting Sam. Extremely friendly and up front with any questions I had. After taking it for a test drive, I was thinking this is the one. With it being the busy holiday season Sam said take it home overnight; so you and the wife can see if this is the vehicle for you. We fell in love with it. The next fear was I needed to trade in a vehicle for the first time. I couldn't believe how fair Sam & Don were. Don is so knowledgeable, honest, & fair with the whole process. We felt so comforable with this purchase. After agreeing on a price, Don wanted two issues on the vehicle looked at and one ending up being very expense. This was the very first time i purchased a vehicle from a dealership, and to be honest i wasn't the most comfortable about it. However, now that its all said and done, i wouldn't mind doing it again. The process was fast and the people were very nice and kept it simple for me. The customer service could not have been better. They turned me loose with a full tank of gas and made sure my car was spotless. Anyone looking for new or used should definitely look into Maritime Ford.

I did it again. The second vehicle purchased from Maritime in a short time. I was given a 2013 Explorer to ride home while our other vehicle was getting ready. I got hooked and started negotiations. Ended up with a new 2012 Explorer Limited. Wonderful vehicle. I started with Sam again as we worked with hime on the first deal. He is just a lot of fun and everyone else is so friendly and efficient. Troy, with some extra effort got us one heck of a finance rate nobody could touch. Thank You All, and we will likely be back when our daughter is ready to buy used. Just a nice "Old School" way of doing business!

We looked at every auto lot in Manitowoc for a week with no luck.We needed the impossible to happen. When we visited MARITIME FORD, the final lot before planning to go out of town to look, we found just the right truck, with the right price for us. We asked questions, not believing we'd qualify.Don, the first person we saw, was direct,honest and informative. He helpped us through the first process & introduced us to Troy,(the business mgr.),who made us feel like family. He said he'd look into financing & let us know later that day,if we qualified. It wasn't long before we received his call, saying, 'COME PICK UP YOUR NEW TRUCK.' We were amazed, not believing we'd qualify & at such a great rate! Sam, the sales consultant, was very friendly, kind & accomodating. He filled the truck with gas, gifted us with two free pizza gift cards and treated us like friends with NO pressure! I would reccomend this place 100 times over to anyone, in fact we have already called & told people they have to shop there. I've purchased many cars in my lifetime in various places but beyond a doubt, have never been treated so well. Kim did the paper work so quickly & we were out of there in no time, enjoying our new truck. On a rate from 1 to 100, we rate them 1,000! Great place! "Stay the way you are, folks! Purchasing a new vehicle from Maritime was a pleasure from my first inquiry via a live chat with the dealer, contining with timely Email correspondence, and all leading up to an actual visit to the dealership resulting in the purchase of a new 2012 Fusion Hybrid. Don was fair in explaining the trade valuation and gave us some tips on Fords web-site for potential additional discounts. Donna assisted us as Sam was occupied with another customer when we first arrived and was very helpful. Sam was a real pleasure to meet when he was finished with his other customers. I did like that they responded honestly to my Email request which other dealers avoid. Responses were fast and a deal was pretty much complete prior to actually visiting the dealership site unseen. Kim did a great job on closing the paperwork and explaining everything as well. The dealer did give us an additional pricing deal on some add-ons which we did not expect. It was an excellent experience in dealing with everyone from the sales and finance departments at Maritime. After entering a new search radius, I found the exact Mustang I was looking for on a Thurday night. I asked a question about it late Friday afternoon and received a quick response. Then I sent another inquiry late Friday night and sure enough early Saturday morning I received a response and then soon I was on my way up to Manitowoc to check it out. Everyone was very friendly and courteous and an hour and a half after arriving there, I was the proud owner of my first Mustang. It was a day I will never forget!!! Also they were able to obtain the wheel lock key from the previous owner a week later, now that was awesome service, I'd give them more stars in the rating category just for that. Thanks again Don, Elizabeth, and Kim!!!!

I has Sam Fricke as my car salesman, and he was always interested in how happy I was and made sure I was happy. I have been driving my Focus for 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier. The only thing wrong is that the CD Player ate my CD after driving it off the lot. I was told that Maritime is looking into fixing the problem. I hope it soon and that it doesn't cost much. Overall I was pleased by the staff at Maritime and would recommend anyone to go there. :)

When I got there to get my car and sign the papers, erveryone was so nice!Kim was my seller, even though new, she still made my experience a great one. Just purchased a 2007 Ford Focus here, thinking it had been properly serviced and checked over. Soon after driving it home, over 100 miles, I checked the oil and found twice the recommended amount of oil in the engine. I extracted 4 quarts of excess oil from the engine! All I was offered was an apology and a free oil change/tire rotation. Not the best car buying experience.

I was browsing around looking for a new truck and came across a youtube video on a used f150 crewcab with 114 thousand miles. While looking at the youtube video this truck looked like it was in excellent shape. Thanks to the great youtube plug and a awesome sales team I purchased this truck without even taking it for a test drive first. That's how much I trusted there dealership! Which I lived 1hour away. When I finally arrived at the dealer I was amazed that the truck even looked better then the video. They will be the first place I look when I decide to trade it in for a new one. I have been a previous customer of Maritime Ford, and each time the overall experience gets better and better. This time around, I needed a car and I needed it asap. From the first time I pulled into the lot i spotted two cars. Instanatly 'Sammy' came out and showed both vehicles to me. Explained the difference in options and more between the two vehicles to help me make the best decision. I've had this vehicle for a short while now and truly enjoy it. What I enjoyed more is coming to a car lot and having the service walk to you. I was provided a ton of information without the overly pressing issue of the purchase than the average sales people I've dealt with prior to Maritime. I thank Maritime Ford for both their overall services as well as having staff like Sammy who go the distance. I will be coming back to Maritime for all services needed in my future.

My son and I had checked out a new Flex on the new car lot, and swung through the used car lot to look at some cars there as well. John was right there to assist us, and he went across the street to the new lot to get us more info on the Flex. Long story short, I ended up buying the vehicle. I can't say enough about the amount of time and care the personel took with me, through the entire purchasing process. They more than answered every question I had and found me a great loan deal as well. I liked the "home town" atmosphere and I continue to stay with Ford because they never took bail-out money. From the moment we drove into the lot we were greeted with wonderful customer service. We weren't pressured to purchase. We enjoyed every minute from the beginning of choosing a vehicle, to test driving, and throughout financing. This dealership went above and beyond to give us our vehicle at a wonderful price! The financing department worked on our loan and looked everywhere they could to find us the best rates at the price point we wanted to be at. In the end between the sales department and financing department we were able to take home the vehicle that fit our family/lifestyle at a price we could afford. We definitely would come back for other purchases and recommend them for other buyers. They're customer service is phenomenal! We'd been to a lot of dealerships prior to Maritime Ford and none compare to the service we received!

When first reviewed, there was a chirp in my used Ford Escape Hybrid that was unresolved. Since then, the Service department evaluated the chirp, ordered and installed a part, and the chirp is GONE! I was always provided with a loan of equal or greater size than my truck, and they even offered to help me swap car seats to the loaner. I took advantage of the 10% discount on Ford Accessories like the all weather floor mats for the dirty paws & toddler toes that are in my truck, and they were installed for me when I picked it up. Thanks to John Vela Sales, Jay & Jeremy in Service, and one of the cashiers who quickly resolved a billing question and got me back on the road fast.

I briefly wanted to share my wonderful experience with my recent purchase & trade-in. I was actually out shopping for a new vehicle with my husband for my husband but in the end I bought a new vehicle and he's still shopping! I had a rear wheel luxury sedan. Loved the comfort but hated the rear wheel and wanted something comparable but with 4wheel drive. John Vela listened to my concerns and desires of what I wanted in a new vehicle and found the perfect vehicle for me! One I wasn't even considering and as it turned out it exactly what I needed/wanted. Fit me perfect. Thanks for Listening John! Iwas well taken care of the moment I stepped out of my car. Things moved very well and I was treated with respect. Everyone was friendly and things were explained to the fullest. I was even allowed to take the car and drive it for a day. Things moved swiftly and I feel I got the best price for the beautiful car that I bought. While the entire staff at Maritime Ford is friendly and willing to work with customers, there is cause for serious concern with their service and sales departments, especially when it comes to used cars. With the used car I purchaased (only 34k miles), I was told by the salesperson that it had been reconditioned to ertified used car specifications,and that the price was not particularly negotiable because of this. But within the first 1500 miles after my purchase, I discovered that the emergency brake had not been serviced, the engine air-filter had not been replaced, the engine oil was 2 quarts low and that the entire rear brake system (calipers, discs and pads) had to be replaced at a cost of $550. I was significantly upset by this, so I informed Maritime Ford of the problems. The dealership had a difficult time believing that their service department missed these things, and I had equal difficulty believing that such neglect and need for repairs could have gone unnoticed, so Maritime Ford agreed to split the difference and pay for half of the brake repair costs. This is much to their credit since unscrupulous dealers would have likely said, ough luck,and then told me to get lost. Nevertheless, the bottom line is that Maritime Ford did NOT do a sufficient inspection of the vehicle they sold me, and it was certainly NOT reconditioned to ertifiedstandards. I consider myself extremely lucky that major engine damage did not result from their failure to adequately fill the engine oil, and I am left to wonder if anything else is wrong with the vehicle that has yet to be discovered. I would like to give a better review, but given all the circumstances, I can do no better than a 2-star rating.

John & the Maritime Ford Team did a nice job getting me the vehicle I wanted, when I wanted it, for a fair price. The trade-in assessment was done quickly without haggling, and Troy was able to find me better interest rates than my personal financial institutions offered. Only negative thing is a chirp under the dash that is unable to be corrected so far.

After search the internet for days and expanding into Wisconsin, we found what we where looking for at Maritime. My husband and I have been purchasing vehicles at Martime Ford for 13 years. You are probably thinking wow 13 years is a long time I wonder what makes this dealership so great? Well here are our reasons. Don Lawrenz takes the time to find out what vehicle we are looking for, the options we want and what we are able to afford. He has taken the time to answer any of our questions and if he doesn't know the answer he will try to find it to the best of his ablility. We have had to have a couple of vehicles repaired because of collisions and Andy has made that process very easy for us. All we have ever had to do is bring the vehicle in and he has done all the work contacting the correct people to get the job done. All of the employees that work there are very personable and easy to talk to. Also because of our great experiences we have recommended our friends and family to purchase their vehicles here. We do not see ourselves ever going to another dealership. We are definitely lifelong customers.
