Ill admit it was a little rough at first, but after understanding Subarus marketing strategy the ice broke. The staff at Mastro Subaru is relaxed, transparent and truly knowledgeable about their product. Thanks to Ralph, Rachel, Ronnie and Jennifer my first Subaru buying experience was first class. P.S. Ronnie, I enjoyed talking to you and want to say thanks for your service to this great Country.

We went into Mastro to look at the Forester and the Crosstrek. Erica L. was our sales associate. She did a great job of focusing our search and getting us into the right vehicle. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products and the options. It was completely no pressure and just an overall great experience. We walked out with a new Forester within 2 hours. Couldn't be happier with Mastro.

I had a great experience with Mastro Subaru in purchasing a new vehicle! Everyone was friendly, honest and I didn't feel pressured into purchasing the car on the spot or any additional features when I did decide to purchase. They were understanding of my circumstances and were willing to assist me to help with the buying process. As a single female, it was nice to be treated with respect and not be taken advantage of. I highly recommend Mastro Subaru and Matt was a pleasure to work with, along with Lino, Jonathan, LD, and Chris.Thank you Mastro Subaru for making my vehicle purchasing experience a pleasant one and I love my new Crosstrek!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I went in looking to lease an Outback and they got me into the car I was looking for. I had a bad experience at another local Subaru dealer but Mastros helped me get the car I wanted and made it a great experience.

This is one of the best car buying experiences that I have had. I was greeted by Sean, the dealership manager who recognized me as a return customer after a 10-year absence. He introduced me to Jerry who was a gentle and knowledgeable low- pressure (I should say no-pressure) salesman. He courteously demonstrated the Outback features and took me for a test-drive. I was impressed by the superb safety and comfort features. The car and trade-in prices were very fair. The entire experience was extremely civilized and pleasant. I can only highly recommend this no-fluff dealership.

I had a fabulous experience buying my first Subaru at Mastro. The process was easy. The sales man was extremely helpful with all my questions- this was my first time purchasing a car! They even transferred my tag plates over right in their office! YAY no trip to the DMV! I was welcomed by many people in their office into the Subaru Family! Subaru love is real.

This was my second Subaru. First was total but my partner walked away with only a few bruises. We went to the dealership where we brought our first Subaru and then decided we did not like their tactics. Under new Management. We went to Mastrobecause of the great reviews and more inventory and had the greatest experience. Everyone was really awesome. Financing was a breeze. Mastro is our new dealership.

I'll start by saying that I hate car salespeople and dealerships in general. I've had nothing but bad experiences and loathe dealing with them. I visited this dealership after many others. I went specifically because of the reviews I'd read here and other places. I rely very heavily on reviews - this dealership has some of the highest around. This is a typical dealership as in they still haggle. Some dealerships have switched to the fixed-price model, meaning the price of the vehicle is set and there is absolutely no negotiation. I went to a few of those dealerships and found them to be unmotivated to sell. I went to Mastro because they don't use this model, and they advertised good prices.I went to Mastro with the intention of leaving with a new car. Upon arriving I was greeted by Lino, a friendly salesman who began by asking me what I was looking for and showing me some options. If I asked a question about something and he did not know, he was quick to go and find an answer for me. I appreciate this, as most salesmen I've dealt with will either lie or not care enough to find out. We test drove a model and went inside to talk about what kind of agreement we could come to. Lino did his best to meet my expectations, however car salesmen are car salesmen and a little of the sales tactics still came through. He was, however, probably the most professional and honest salesman I've ever dealt with, and for this reason I will return and refer business to them. A word about this - sales tactics are just that. If they don't use them they won't sell anything. I understand this and have a very good working knowledge of car sales. For this reason I don't fall for the games, and often call my salesperson out on it. Lino was receptive to this and worked with me to come to a number that worked for me. We agreed to finalize the sale and moved forward. I have excellent credit, good income, and already had approval from my bank. I asked Lino what they could do for me as far as financing and told him I wanted to hear his terms before I would tell him what my bank was offering. He went to the finance office and came back with a number twice as high as what I had. Again, common tactic. They start high and hope that the customer will bite, and alot do. Not me. I told him I wasn't going to play their game and would come back with a check the next day, as his number was absurd. He went back and within seconds, magically came back with a number 1% below what my bank offered. Funny how that works. I agreed to the terms and we began finalizing the paperwork. The next and last step is the finance office, where you meet with the finance manager and complete all the paperwork for funding, tag transfer, and title. If you've never had a root canal, opt for one instead. It's that fun. If you think car salesman pressure and games are bad, you're in for a real treat in the finance office. They're all the same. It goes like this: you go in to "finalize the sale" with the number that you and the car salesmen agreed to. The finance person then tries to pressure you into purchasing extras like upholstery warranties, tire protection, extended mechanical warranty, paint protection, etc. They show you how adding all of these things on only makes your payment go up a few dollars a month. It doesn't seem like alot, but you could potentially add thousands of dollars onto your loan by the end. Mastro was no different - the finance manger showed me a "menu" of extras. There were 4 package options, and when he was done explaining them, he told me to choose one. I said "none" and he acted surprised. Nice try. I told him I didn't want any extras at all and that I wanted to simply close the deal at the price I agreed to with no more tricks or games. He agreed and proceeded with the paperwork. He tried again twice as we went through the paperwork but I declined. His manager even came in and tried to offer me "a great deal" on more add-ons. Again I declined. We finally finished the paperwork and I left the showroom to pick up my new car. Lino walked me through the features of the car and made sure I was comfortable with everything before I left. Overall, I had a great experience. Much better than any dealership I've ever been to. A few important points worth noting:>Everyone here is super friendly and professional. >All car salesmen play games and use tactics, some more than others - if they didn't they wouldn't sell cars. Some are downright dishonest, and some aren't. >All finance managers try to upsell add-ons - it's industry standard. You're not obligated to buy them, but they will try their hardest. >Finance offers will always be high to start out. They will offer you "a great rate" with an extra percent or more tacked on in the hopes that you will bite. If you have bad credit, you may have no options. If you have good credit, fight back. >Most importantly, YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION TO WALK AWAY. The car dealership does not own you. Do not sign anything or agree to anything unless you are completely happy with your deal. >RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. Do not go to a car dealership until you are thoroughly educated about how they work, their tactics, and your options. There is a ton of insider information on the internet about this. Just google "car sales tricks and tactics." It will blow your mind, and it will protect you. >Get pre-approved at your bank or credit union. They will offer you the rate that you credit qualify for. The dealership will offer you a rate that makes them the most money. Having a pre-qualification in your hand will quickly kill their attempt to add more points onto your loan. In my case, the dealership beat my banks rate. If you have bad credit, you are going to get screwed the hardest because you have the least options. You can still try to haggle the rate, and you can always say no.>Your car salesman and/or finance manager are not your friends, no matter how much charm they lay on. They are there for 1 reason - to sell you a car and make a commission. This trickles down from the very top - no sales = no job. At ANY dealership, you will have a markedly better experience if you educate yourself before you go. Know what you want, and what you are willing to pay. There's other dealerships, don't be afraid to leave if you're not happy or comfortable with your salesman. Overall, I'm happy with my experience at Mastro. I've referred people there, and I will return when I'm ready to purchase another car. It was a bit of a drive for me, but it was worth it. They have good prices and good service, and let's be honest, you can't beat a Subaru. The dealership manager personally thanks everyone who buys a car and asks if you are happy with your experience. A few days after the sale he called to make sure I was happy. Lino called twice within 2 weeks after the sale to make sure I was happy and to ask if I had any questions or concerns. This is a nice touch and shows that they actually care about the customers.I rated 4/5 stars because I would have been taken advantage of if I had not been a thoroughly educated customer. One shouldn't have to work so hard to avoid being taken advantage of.

I decided to visit Mastro Subaru for final comparison shopping as I had been to other Dealerships in the surrounding area, and in particular, I had been to a Dealership with which I had a well established history and with which I was planning to make a purchase in the coming days. My original intention was to confirm my "good deal as a long-standing Customer elsewhere" but it turned-out that Mastro Subaru listened and valued me more. I now own a 2017 Forester that bears the Mastro emblem and I could not be happier.

My WRX needed major repairs. I had always heard that Mastro had a good service department and wanted the work done right. Matt in the service department was very professional and helpful. He kept me updated on the progress of the repair. The repair was made in the timeframe that Matt stated it would be done, which is super rare from my past experiences with other non Subaru service centers. I can tell that this dealership really cares about their customers. I did not buy this vehicle from Mastro, but I know my next one will be purchased there. thanks Matt and Mastro! You have earned another loyal customer.

I purchased a 2016 Crosstrek having thoroughly reviewed market price on the familiar sites. I dealt with Luis and Ronnie who were courteous and professional with none of the typical sales pressures or tactics, and got a price right where the market said it should be without necessitating having to go to another dealer. The experience was as it should be in buying a car -- pleasurable and stress free.

I ordered my 2016 3.6 at the end of December and was told that it would arrive at the end of February. Chris Young, my awesome sales person, kept me updated and the timeline was updated to Feb 17th. The third week of January, he emailed me and let me know that it would be in early, Feb 3rd. I was going to be out of town and let him know I could pick it up on the following Friday. We set an appointment for a 12:00 pm pickup and the car was sitting in the shaded pickup area when I pulled in. So cool to see it was ready and they respected my time. The car was exactly what I ordered. LD helped with the trade in and final price negotiations - no surprises and very fair. Finance was very simple and got me a rate a half point better than my pre-approval. Chris did a great job with delivery, describing how to use the features and offering to schedule an appointment if I had any questions. To describe the process in a few words - transparent, fair, attentive - Highly recommend. They also followed up several times to make sure there were no issues.

The folks at Mastro helped me get my hands on a Twilight Blue 2016 Outback 3.6R Limited. I have had the car for a month and just got back from two weeks in western NC and couldn't be happier. Smooth, quiet highway ride but handled my steep gravel roads with absolutely no problem. Ice and snow on asphalt? Just put the thing into X-Mode and let it do it's thing. Pick-ups can't even handle the stuff! Absolutely impressed! As for Mastro, I can't say enough about my experience with them. Demand for Subaru's is high and through the roof for a 3.6R Outback - but with a little patience and a good sense of humor, Mike Gladue along with George Hios and Ronnie Myles got me the car I wanted. It was well worth the wait. This car is rock solid and I look forward to working with Mastro.

Most places are iffy about letting drivers test drive a manual transmission car, however I was allowed to drive both the wrx manual and cvt. I felt that this really helped my final decision. I drove off the lot with my new 2016 suabru wrx limited, in the manual trans of course :) I couldn't be any happier. Thank You Chris! Mastro Subaru gave me a great deal on my new 2016 WRX! They made the buying process super easy, considering I had to do all the prep work long distance because they had the car I wanted. We unfortunately lost both our cars to the floods in SC. I flew in from SC, was picked up at the airport by my salesman, Chris Young, and was driving my car home just a few hours later. Chris was really great throughout the whole process. He really listened to what I wanted, and came through before and after the sale. He also had great knowledge on the car, unlike other dealerships of other car brands. He even knew the significance of the logo and Subaru name. Thought I had him there. And when they delivered my car to me, it was in its own special space, protected from the sun under a roof. Overall, I hope I can buy another Subaru from Chris. No one beats Mastro. Period. In the past 3 months my extended family has bought 4 cars from Mastro, and could not be happier. I have been a member of the Mastro family for over 10 years and could never imagine buying a Subaru anywhere else. Their sales, service, management, and ownership are the top echelon of what a car dealership should be. My family has owned Ford's, BMW's, Audi's, Mercedes', Mazda's, Jaguar's, Infiniti's, and Nissan's from all over the Tampa Bay area and the level of care, consideration, passion, and professionalism at Mastro is unmatched in my personal experience. None of these come close to the personal professional experience you get at Mastro. I could not be happier with my 2016 WRX and the price, service, and experience I received is a daily reminder of what a great decision I made. I encourage anyone and everyone to give Mastro a shot, and I challenge you to find one better! Big shoutout to Mike G and everyone else that made it happen for me!

This was my first car buying experience, and would recommend it to others. I had an amazing experience buying a new car here, thanks Chris Y, Matt, and LD. These guys were wonderful with their knowledge and approach-ability. I previously had gone to a Subaru dealership in the Orlando area, and felt quite pressured there. But immediately upon arriving at Mastro, I felt quite at ease with my car shopping experience. I came in looking for a used or new Legacy, and worked with Chris over the next two months or so to find what I really needed. He periodically checked in with me as additional Legacies came into the lot, new or used, and let me know ASAP about them so I could come take a look at them after work that same day. I feel this was a great car shopping experience, from beginning to end. No pressure, just professional knowledge and personal attention that definitely convinces me to return years from now when I am looking to buy another car.

We went on a Wednesday night to shop for a our son and when we arrived two gentleman were outside drinking coffee. We walked around for 15 minutes and were actually shocked that no one approached us. We had a draft from our local credit union and were ready to go. Anyway, we bought at Reeves Subaru the next day. Oh well I guess business is too good?

Chris Young was amazing. He was professional and patient throughout the process. He made easy for us to lease the vehicle. This is our fourth Mastro Subaru and we totally recommend this dealership and specifically Chris Young. He takes away the stigma of "car salesperson". 4th Subaru...switched from 2 Foresters to Outback, switched from green to blue this time; beautiful vehicle with safety first. Lease option went smoothly bc staff knew what they were doing (Hooray to Steven and Ronnie). But credit goes to Chris Y for making it easy, not applying pressure, answering all questions with thought and patience, and taking time to give professional and personal attention which I would expect as a returning customer. BRAVO to Mastro for sales and then service which brings me back (Manny and Ray rock!).

Steve in finance was also great to work with. Overall a very good experience. Would definitely recommend Chris and Mastro Subaru!

After multiple visits to different dealerships around the area. And time after time we where simply disappointed with the lack of anyone wanting to help us out, or actually caring at all. Me and my wife took the 1 hour drive to Mastro in Tampa and we could have not been more thrilled with not only the customer service but the actual passion that they themselves have for there products. We just said this is what we like and Mike and Chris where wonderful and helped us get straight to the car that best suited us. I most definitely recommend Mastro Subaru for your 1st car or 100th. I will for sure be going back in the future. Ps we are obsessed with our 2015 xv crosstrek!

I purchased a 2015 STi and although they did not have the trim/color I wanted, LD and Chris Young were able to find my car at another dealership. From the time I walked into the dealership to test drive a car 1 1/2 months before my purchase to the final signature the day my car arrived, I had great contact from them and felt no pressure to buy anything. The numbers were put in front of me and there were no games. I will definitely recommend Mastro Subaru Tampa to my friends. Good job by all!

After a whirlwind two days of shopping multiple brands at multiple dealerships, I went back to the first dealership that I visited, Mastro Subaru. The entire team made me feel comfortable the minute I walked in the door and throughout the entire shopping experience. The were very fair to deal with and didn't play any back and forth games. The negotiations were quick and straight forward. Thank you to Jesse Pullen, Mike Gladue, and Ronnie Myles for making this a great buying experience (third one in three years!)

Our sales man Mike Brisson was incredible!!!! He didn't try to sell me a car, he didn't have to, the car sold itself and I had researched Suburu and knew I was getting my moneys worth. What Mike did do was enhance my entire buying experience, his knowledge was impressive and his personality rocked. From the beginning to the end all team members we encountered were exceptional and I can say that this was the first time I truly had FUN buying a car.

Recently I purchased a used vehicle at Mastro. I placed a review before that I rushed through. I've had a change of heart and must say that the staff was on the ball, and they corrected all the problems I found with the used car. From the management to the car detailer, I could not have had a better experience. I wonder then, if I were to buy a new car there...I probably would be treated like a king! Good job Mastro!

The reason of my review ratings are low because I bought an used car at this store and I was told many things that I found to be not true. Although the personnel were very friendly (I'm buying something), I think I was decieved. I was told by one of the managers that every used cars sold by them undego a detailed inspection. I find it hard to believe because the particular car I purchased was missing under body panels, two of them was damaged, and a very dark motor oil (when they said it was changed). The oil plug it self was so tight that I had to take the car to a mechanic to be able to remove it. Another thing, the car has a red botton on the dash that nobody still don't know what it's for. For some reason the dealer states they can't get in touch with the previous owner. So I'm out of $420.00 for the panels and the mechanic. Mastro Subaru maybe for "new cars"...maybe.

Jurnee Abigail CourtenayMr. Pete Mastro4113 S Orlando DriveSanford, FL 32773RE: An open letter to Mr. Mastro regarding my experience purchasing a used vehicle at Mastro Subaru Tampa.Dear Mr. Mastro,I have been wanting to contact you for a while since my purchase here in Tampa, but it has just taken this long to compose myself enough to explain my experience.I used to live right down the street from your store in Tampa. Every time I passes by I would think that it looked like such a friendly, family operation.Unfortunately, I was involved in an accident (I was not at fault) and My 2006 Mazda MX5 was totaled. I was without a car for almost a year until I could save a down payment and get a private loan for a new car. I was looking for a white hatchback. After months of looking for one, I found a white Nissan Versa on your website. It was advertised as a very well kept car, traded in towards the purchase of a new Subaru. I went in on 8/28/13 as soon as I got off of work for a test drive. I tried to be as thorough as possible testing everything I could think of. When pulling out and driving over the speed bump in the parking lot there was a slight twang in the steering. I tried to replicate it, but was not successful. The salesman assured me that there was no issue and that your master mechanics had thoroughly inspected the car and fixed anything that was wrong with it.We went inside to haggle on pricing. The salesman gave me the bottom price stating that it could not be any lower because of the money your company spent to make it to bring it up to standards, including a tune up. I thought it was a little too much, but after I thought about everything the salesman said, I took this to mean that everything was ok with the car. I felt as though I was in such a friendly, family environment that I just took his word for it.The following morning I went in to give a down payment and start the paperwork. That evening, after work, I went to pay the full amount and take possession of the car. My employer (who is like a father to me) went with me and grilled the salesman to make sure that I was getting the best price and that there was in fact nothing wrong with the car. Again the sales person said that his master mechanics had resolved any issues and brought it up to standards. We both felt so comfortable with the transaction that he was going to come back the following month to buy a brand new Subaru for his own daughter to replace her Volvo. As soon as I pulled onto the highway, the check engine light came on. In hind sight I should have turned right around and canceled the check. Instead, I trusted your store and texted the salesperson about what had happened. Also the twang in the front steering returned and got worse and worse. I brought it in the following Saturday, but the service center had already closed and the salesperson was closing a deal so I didnt want to bother him. I would have brought it sooner, but my work schedule would not allow. A few days later, the car overheated and after many attempts to reach the salesperson (to no avail) I just brought it in. They needed to keep it for the weekend and gave me a loaner car, which I appreciated very much. I finally received a call from the service center saying that they needed to replace the alternator and a belt. Also he said that the steering was twanging because the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. He went on to say that they were already aware of these problems BEFORE THEY SOLD THE CAR TO ME! I argued that they should have told me about these issues when I asked, and I only got the run around. They replaced the alternator and serpentine belt with used parts, and gave me an estimate of over $600.00 to fix the rack and pinion which was preexisting and not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. When I returned to pick up my Versa, The head salesperson and I had a very heated conversation about why I was lied to about the condition of the car. He tried to assure me that he instructs his sales persons not to lie to achieve a sale. He showed me the original papers that diagnosed the problems before I bought the car (I recorded the entire conversation with his knowledge). I called my employer and put the head salesperson on the phone with him to confirm that the salesperson did not disclose these issues when asked at the time of purchase. He continued to stand behind his salesperson and also said We dont sell new used cars, there are going to be problems with them (the used cars that you sell).A horrible way to describe store policy while doing business with your company in my opinion. Again, the conversation was getting us nowhere. I left feeling swindled and cheated. My employer felt the same way and found a reputable dealer to purchase a new car for his daughter. At the same time I decided never to use your service center again, even though I am entitled to free oil changes.A week later, the check engine light came back on, blinking this time. The car started jerking. I had it towed to our family mechanic who determined that 2 of the ignition coils had burned out (1 before I bought the car and the second because the first was never replaced). Also, the spark plugs were the original ones that came with the car (as I noted before, the salesperson said they couldnt go down on the price because of bringing the car up to standard). To top it off the CD player is jammed and wont work at all (as I didnt try to play one until I got the car back from the service center). In summary, while paying my monthly payment on my loan, I have had the added expense of $400.00, plus the price for the rack and pinion, and no CD player because of the lack of transparency of your salesperson. While I would advise my peers to purchase a new Subaru from your company, I would caution anyone from acquiring a used car from your establishment.Sincerely,Jurnee Abigail Courtenay

Took my car here for my 60000 mile service. They offered me the best price in the area, $750 for the service compared to the $950 at Reeves or Fitzgerald Subaru. Turns out that my car also needed new axles, which was something I was not anticipating, but they gave me a decent price on the repair. Overall the experience was good, they were very helpful, and they got me in and out very fast. I had to spend more than I wanted because of the axles, but nothing that either I or they could do but repair it. Overall I am very happy with the dealer, and will definitely be back.

We finally bought our first Subaru - 2013 Outback Limited and were in LOVE! Love the car and loved working with Mastro Subaru in Tampa. Michael Brisson was our Sales Consultant and he made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. I used the internet/emails exclusively to research and negotiate during my car buying process. Michaels response to my inquiries was always very prompt, informative, and most importantly, accurate. When my husband and I arrived at the dealership, Michael delivered the car and pricing that we had negotiated via email. Paul, the General Manager, met with us and welcomed us into the Mastro family. My only disappointment with my experience with Mastro was pricing on accessories that we decided to add into the final contract. After returning home and doing some more research, I know that we couldve saved a significant amount on the accessories by not buying them with Mastro that day. Other Subaru dealers were advertising lower prices and we couldve saved close to $100 buying the exact same Subaru bike rack at Amazon. Even Mastros own website had advertised specials with 15-30% savings off the accessories. And, in the past week, Mastros Facebook page announced free installation on accessories.that wouldve save quite a few dollars for us to buy more accessories that we wanted. I also didnt like paying installed prices for accessories like the bike rack which didnt get installed. I still want to get a roof cargo carrier but I now know I need to shop around.Bottom line: We hope to have many happy years with our Subaru and its looking like well be permanent converts from Toyota!

Incredilble history:1) Monday 12, about 23 hs, I saw in the web site of Mastro Subaru a Forester 2007 (still there) at this great price $ 2753.002) I wrote and sent in that same moment an inquire asking if is still available and if the price is right.3) Tuesday 13, 9:05 AM I call and talk with L.D. (sales person) and he told me: Yes, the car is available, I will check about the price.4) I sent some emails telling him I will take it, then he call me and told me he is sending the car to the mechanic for inspection and will send me a report with any work needed for this car.5) I received and read the report, I wrote him back with my confirmation: I will buy the car.6) I call him to set up a meeting for the purchase and the news is....... the mechanic in charge of the inspection JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR!!!!! so is not longer available to me. INCREDIBLE !!!!!7) I call to the dealer and ask for the sales manager Ronnie, and he promise to take care about this, but after 30 minutes he call me and said that nothing can be done about it and he is sorry.8) Finally: I think the owners should know about what is going on inside the company with employers making personal business inside the shop, and the sales team should keep their word.

I don't think this review has anything to do with the above named advisor, I am pretty sure he never looked at the car, another technician did.Brought a car in for a prepurchase inspection. I had asked for a COMPLETE inspection of the vehicle and was never at any point told they would completely ignore the engine or the exhaust (seriously, not even look at them while the car was running to check for noises or anything?). Get the car home that day, it sits for about a week. Finally get it registered, start it up and within a minute of idle you can smell something. I figured maybe it was just something burning off, went for a short drive and at a stop light noticed smoke coming from the hood scoop. Pop the hood and see smoke coming from the dp/turbo area (also a bit from the exhaust). Smell is impossible to miss. I am also seeing smoke rise up towards the front of the engine and idle dropping to under 500rpm.Seems like some things were overlooked during my inspection. I just wish they would have told me looking at the engine wasn't part of a "COMPLETE" inspection. I guess I should have asked for the "Complete PLUS" inspection.....I will update this review if anything changes.

This dealership is unlike others I have visited over the years. Salesman Jim Bowman was very pleasant. He was accommodating, patient, with no "pressure" to buy. I bought an Outback within an hour. The dealership consists of a small group of people who were quite friendly. I felt comfortable buying a vehicle from Mastro Subaru. They worked with me on the price of the vehicle and my trade in.It is because I was treated with respect from Jim and management that I rate this dealership so highly. Mastro Subaru gave me by far the BEST experience I've ever had shopping for a car! I've been to other places like Honda, Toyota and Kia, but unfortunately wasn't treated very well. Immediately when I walked into Mastro I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I actually wasn't planning on stopping by another dealership because I was so fed up with the car buying process, but Mastro was on my way home and I thought "Why not". From the moment I stepped foot in the door to the minute I left I felt comfortable and like I was a part of the family. Everyone that works there was so friendly and even though I wasn't buying a brand new car from them, they treated me just as wonderfully as the person at the next table to me who was buying a brand new car! I am so happy I made that final stop on my way home because Mastro has gained a customer for life! Another great part, their service department seems just as wonderful as the sales! Since I bought a vehicle from them, all my oil changes are complimentary! Can't beat that!!! Thanks guys for a wonderful experience! :)

From the minute I walked onto the lot, I had a very good feeling about this dealership. There was no one running and knocking people over to get to you, just very pleasant staff that introduced themselves and said they would be glad to answer any questions. This is my 3rd Subaru over the years, so I was somewhat familiar with the cars. After deciding that I was seriously interested, I caught Michael Brisson attention and went for a test ride. When I say a test ride I do not mean a quick tip around the block, I wen on all different types of roads and traffic situations to make sure this was the car for me. They are extremely fair on their pricing and will do everything possible to make the deal work. The whole time you feel as though you are becoming more and more like family throughout the process. 1/21/2012After checking out every other Subaru dealers on both sides of the bay, we found one by the name of Mastro Subaru, who was very informative with no pressure at all. It was the honesty of both Mike and Paul that put us so at ease. After a half hour I felt we knew one another for years. When we first got there I was torn between a Forrester and Outback, Mike said let's go for a ride in each and if necessary we do a second test drive. I wound up with a new 2012 Outback, which I will pick up on Monday. Truthfully this experience put my faith back in buying car,and I know I will be a repeat customer. I did a lot of my research on-line, so the practical decision had been made. It came down to the emotional connection and drive of the car. I was satisfied on both of those and was pleased to find the staff friendly, helpful and pressure-free. I went to this Subaru dealership even though I live within 2 miles of another because they had the car I wanted in a manual. When it comes time to purchase my next vehicle, I will go back, because they were pure professionals. I have a sales background, so I am familiar with the tactics one might use...they didn't use any and it was appreciated. I felt comfortable and it was an enjoyable experience. Rather than an auto mall with several makes, they were pure Subaru and were knowledgeable and loyal to their product.

There was no sales pressure (which would have turned us around and out the door) and we received a good price for the new vehicle as well as a very fair allowance for the 2009 Subaru Forester that we traded. I am soo happy with my purchase from Mastro Subaru and I saw first hand why they've been in business for almost 40 years! However, I can't thank Mr.Michael Brisson for being soo patient with me in purchasing my car and even stayed past business hours. Also, I even had to drive back to Tampa the next day and normally I wouldn't have even came back to a local dealership once the deal didn't work, but I was so impressed the day prior that I couldn't hardly wait to drive back over for delivery of my car. Also David was nice enough to even follow up with me a couple of days later to make sure I was happy with the purchase and deal. Again great experience, great deal.

We arrived at Mastro Subaru after a very tiring day. Luckily for us we had Diane there to greet us. She was upbeat and personal and very well informed. I've never been on a test drive that left me better informed about a vehicle. Even after we decided to buy the car, she went above and beyond the call of duty. She walked us through the owner's manual and even got our parking decal off of our trade in so we could put on our new Outback. It's the little things like that they will make us come back to Mastro. Oh, and we love the new Outback!

Mastro Imports, Sanford, is the real deal. We purchased a preowned Forester in an informal, friendly atmosphere sitting at a round table (everyone sitting at a round table is equal) in the middle of the store. The negotiation over price can bestbe described as a friendly conversation among all of us - the salesman John, business manager Sarah, and sales manager Joe.In all it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. There was no "us against them" environment and even Joe, the sales manager sat at the table. Other employees also stopped by to make our acquaintance. As a condition of sale, the dealership agreed to replace the cracked glass in the sunroof and delivered to us in the documentation package - duly signed, was a bright yellow document titled "We Owe You" stipulating same. A couple of weeks later, Jason Lance, service manager took delivery of the new glass and installed it as agreed upon. Moreover he also topped off our fuel tank at his departments expense as we had driven 90 miles from home in St. Augustine so they could install it. The roof was installed on a day of blinding rain and thunderstorms. No leaks!! I also appreciated that Jason shared with me the results of the incoming inspection of the Forester we purchased, and what work was performed to bring the vehicle to Mastro re-sale standards. If you're looking for a honest and friendly place to do your car business, Mastro Imports in Sanford can't be beat. The Subaru can't be beat either - this is our second! Tony and Angela Sopranzi

When I was home on leave vacation, I was looking for a new car and Mastro Subaru of Tampa was one of the dealerships I visited. Out of all the ones I visted, Mastro Subaru of Tampa had the best customer service, professionalism, knowledgeable, very friendly and down to earth people. David Bivens was the first sales persons to approach me during my visit. He was patient with me and assured his interest in getting me the car I wanted. David was very knowledgeable about my new car in teaching me how to use the new technology. He even went for a drive with me to show me how these features worked in the car. Paul Hamilton was also very friendly and straight forward with me. He wanted to see me in the Subaru I wanted and he worked his hardest to get me what I wanted. He was able to work a deal on the Subaru I wanted at a price we both agreed on. Every employee I met at the dealership were kind and generous from the sales department to the parts department and through out the dealership. I honestly have not been to any other car dealership that was a great and enjoyable car purchasing experience. They even went out of their way to give me a ride from my home to the dealership to pick up my new car even though it was over an hour drive away!

This was an awesome experience. I came all the way from Orlando to Tampa to purchase a vehicle because I have heard great things about Mastro. They really live up to their reputation. I was greeted by Dianne. I told her how much money I had to work with, not a penny over. I was shown the cars that were in my price range. I was very pleased that I was not shown something that I could not afford. (most dealerships I have been to have really thrown me through some loops). Dianne explained everything I needed to know about the vehicles I was interested in. Everyone from the owner, manager, salesperson and the finance manager really worked together as a team. They made me feel like family from the moment I walked in to the moment I drove off the lot in my new car. So, I would like to thank Dianne, Sean, Bill, Steve and Holly for your kindness, stress free, relaxing and non haggling experience. You all truly do value your customers! The most fun I ever had buying a car. Thank you Mastro!!!

My "built" car arrived earlier than expected/promised. The competent sales personnel are "family" and work efficiently together with no pressure tactics. I trust any future questions about my new Outback will be professionally answered. The model's reputation in CONSUMER REPORTS preceded my visit to the showroom, and I am willing to travel 45 minutes each way because I have confidence in the Mastro dealership.

Well let me just start off by saying Dianne is the best ever the minute we met her she was just so spunky and thats what caught our attention, when we met it was off the clock they were closing up and everyone was gone for the day but she still stuck around to tell us some helpfull information. I will say this woman knows what she is doing she answered all our questions with complete honesty. Dianne is the most polite sales rep i've met, we were searching for a car for over a year and when Dianne told and showed us everything Subaru had to offer and the performance of the my car i was sold. Dianne is the best and now that were getting ready for another car we will follow Dianne Greenlaw where ever she goes even for an oil change her energy is just the most blessing to be around. Dianne is just the best and she's not just going to sell you the car and forget about you like some sales rep do, she makes sure that you are SATISFIED with your purchase.

The dealership and its people are some of the most pleasurable I have dealt with in my car buying experience. They treat you as an educated consumer, while still providing an honest personal touch. In an era of corporate run dealerships, it is nice to see a family and it employees that are able to provide just what a car buyer requires. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Subaru!

Having read many of the reviews of Mastro Subaru, we can only say that Mastro deserves as close to a 5 (i.e. perfect) rating as the raters said! In our previous dealings with car dealers, we always felt a kind of adversarial relationship with the staff of the dealer. Mastro was completely different. We were comfortable with them; they did their best to help us in every way they could; they made sure that we were happy with our deal and expedited the entire process. In our dealings with Dianne (sales), Paul (sales manager) and then Holly (finance), everyone was open and friendly. Diane carefully explained all the features of the car and answered all our questions very professionally. Her enthusiasm for the safety features of the car was particularly contagious. There was no pressure, but a great deal of informative conversation from a description of the vehicle and all its systems, a test drive that enabled us to see how the vehicle moved to a careful tour of the owners manual. We cant imagine a better experience. (P.S. We love our new Subaru Forester!)

I am 71 years young. During the past 55 years I have bought a lot of new and used cars and pickups for both my wife and I. Most of them from new car dealerships in four different states. Mastro Subaru and staff in Tampa Fl. is second to none of them. To bad it took all these years to find out how enjoyable it can be buying acar from a new/used car dealer. The above #6 N/A spot for the Mastro Brothers and staff should be for SUPER GREAT. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to rate thisone in a million dealership. Mastro Subaru has and excellent customer service employees and about buying a car they will "make it happen". They gave us an excellent service beginning from the price of the car, conditions, finance etc I will recommend people to this dealer because they dont do scams like other dealers do. Actually we purchased a car that another dealer in Deland had one similar but the service at that dealer in Deland was awful. Two weeks later our sales consultant Mr. Brisson called us to check how was everything and if the car was working good. We are so satisfy, and we are planning to buy another car at Mastro Subaru. THANKS AGAIN TO MASTRO SUBARU STAFF :)!!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT DEALER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike answered every question I had regarding the new Forester. It had a lot of new features my old Subaru did not have. He was patient, positive, very accomodating but put no pressure to buy a new car. I could not have had a nicer sales rep. He took me around to meet the people with whom I would be dealing within service dept. Paul Hamilton is a "tell it like it is kind of guy." He offered clear options for leasing or buying. He is not intimidating, extremely considerate, up-beat, kind, honest and he put me at ease immediately. I felt like both gentlemen cared about my impression of them and the dealership. With both men, I was not rushed or hurried in any way. It was New Years Eve and I felt like I had all the time I needed. I am tickled to have the Mastro Subaru insignia on the left rear just above the tail light and to have the license plate holder say the same.A truly positive experience all the way 'round. Thank You!

Without any pressure whatsoever , we test drove a car, decided on accessories that were important to us, chose a color, got a trade-in estimate higher than from 2 other dealers, got comparative prices on 2 cars with different accessories, were shown another on the lot with our exact requirements (and color), signed the papers, got the keys and drove away in a matter of 4 hours. This was the most comfortable sales experience in my or my husbands past auto shopping. We had done our research about the Subaru and had 2 fabulous references to Mastro both for sales and service. I am singing their praises all over the Tampa Bay area. I have also had 2 follow up phone calls to make certain that the car and I are happy!

Hi,Just bought my new Subaru Forester blue 2010 from Mastro Subaru Hillsborough Ave.,in Tampa,Florida. Decided on subaru by reputation and since we are goiing to be living in Titusville soon, we chose to approach Mastro on line. After successful price negotiation we flew into Tampa to purchase using the Subaru financing, then purchased, registered with DMV at the dealership saving us time and effort and drove our new car 4 days before we had to leave it and fly home, but had absolutely the best time. Car seems perfect! Sales Manager, Scott? friendly sat and chatted with us even after the sale and salesman Dick Polgreen worked with us on phone and on-line, picked us up at hotel and drove us to our airport- all facilitating the sail. Not expected but very much appreciated. No Complaints! We are out of country right now, but look forward to picking up our Subaru and 4 wheeling in a month. Kathryn and Daniel Chevalier

Excellent buying experience at Mastro Subaru. We worked with Dick Polgreen and were very happy with the "no pressure" philosphy at Mastro Subaru as we've been turned off by other dealerships in the past who have been too pushy. Dick was very knowledgeable regarding the two models we were considering, the Outback and Forester. We decided on the Forester and the entire buying transcation was handled very quickly and professionally. As this was our first experience with Mastro, I cannot comment on the Service Department, but if you are considering purchasing a Subaru, I would highly recommend visiting Mastro before you make your final decision.

I didn't feel like I was "attacked" by a sales person one typically experiences when looking at vehicles. After looking around the lot for a little while and approached the showroom, we were greeted by Mike. He moved the vehicle I was interested in closer to the showroom and demonstrated his knowledge on the vehicle. We then went for a pleasant test drive and there wasn't any awkward silence I've experienced before. After the drive he gave me and my family 'alone time' to think about purchasing. We then met Sean, the Sales Manager, who was extremely friendly. Both Mike and Sean were very helpful, and flexible through the purchasing process.Never once did I feel like they were pushing us to buy the vehicle. I am not a fan of the 'buying a vehicle' process, so I'm not going to say it was fun or great, but it wasn't so bad with Mastro. Overall, they tried to make the experience as simple as possible, they knew what they were doing, and were extremely friendly.

Great buying experience. Mike was my salesman and was very knowledgeable about the WRX I test drove and purchased. This really impressed me: during the test drive I was going full throttle to see what the car would do, and he warned me that I should keep it under 4000 RPM because of the break in period. I've been on a lot of test drives (and always drive like a complete idiot) and never had any sales person express any concern for the vehicle's break in period. This showed me that he not only knew the details of the break in, but also that he was concerned that whoever got that car would have a properly broken in vehicle. The whole staff was extremely laid back and I felt no pressure at any point. After the test drive, we discussed price and I said I wanted to visit another dealership to drive a Legacy GT before making my decision. There was no "oh wait sir, what do we have to do to put you in this car NOW" or any of that attitude, they were very nice and relaxed about it. After driving the Legacy (which BTW is a fantastic car) I decided to go with the WRX primarily because of price, so I called the Mastro guys back, made a deal, and came back. Everything was done within an hour or so with no games.

Buying a car is not always a pleasant experience and it seemed that way when we started the day with our first stop at another competitor's dealership. However, that was not the case at Mastro Subaru. When we arrived at Mastro Subaru, after allowing us a little browse time which we liked, Tracy Lane asked if she could be of assistance. She took the time to review the features of the Legacy Outback that we were interested in and was able to answer all of our questions which demonstrated her product knowledge. The review was followed up by the best test drive experience under the guidance of Tracy. Upon returning from the test drive, we were ready to start the financial discussion. Paul and other team members worked with us to negotiate the payment plan that would meet our budget. This part of the process can be painful but they made it a pleasant experience. By the time we finished with everything, we honestly felt we had known Tracy and the team for some time.We owned a Legacy and XT Subaru back in the 1980s and Mastro Subaru took excellent care of us back then. We were excited they were still in business today and continue to demonstrate excellent customer service.

We live in North Carolina and recently decided to purchase a 2011 Outback Limited. Our local dealer did not have the model we were looking for but Mastro did. We sent an e-offer on Friday night at 11 pm and by 9:15 am Saturday morning, Paul Hamilton had gotten back to us saying our offer had been accepted. I called our local dealer and told them of the offer Mastro had accepted, they quite frankly said they couldn't touch it and told me to be wary of dealer fees. I called Mastro back and asked them what their dealer fees were and they were only $100 more than our local dealer. I had a friend of mine who lived locally go and check out the vehicle. We put a down payment on it and Mastro got the paperwork ready. I took a cheap flight down on Sunday, stayed with family, and arrived at Mastro when they opened on Monday morning at 9 am. Tracy Lane showed me all the features of the car and we test drove it to make sure everything checked out. I signed the paperwork, made final payment and was on the road before 11 am. Great...Great experience. My advice to anyone is to test drive the cars to find what you are looking for and then shop the internet and get the price you are comfortable with. If the dealer you find wants to play games, find another dealer. Mastro didn't play any games- they were straight business, professional and pleasant to boot...how refreshing.

The personnel, especially Mark, were great to work with. Each one I met, were all friendly, professional, patient, helpful. Mark -salesman-was exceptional in being open and friendly and helpfulness overall, and even provided transportation for me to come back to complete the purchase and pick up the car. Paul suggested this could be arranged and I don't even live in the same county! I really appreciated that idea, and considered it above and beyond. Dustin did a great job with the financial work and patiently (very) helping with my indecision on warranty and gap insurance options while trying to stay on my payment goal. His sense of humor and lack of pressure really helped. Everyone I worked with-Mark, Paul, and Dustin were outstanding. The only suggestions I have just for helpfulness are:1. The car could have been cleaner, inside and out. Though extra effort was made to clean up bad carpet stains, apparently professional equipment such as an extractor was not available, why? and the rest of the interior did not seem to be freshened up. The set of floor mats I was given (the car came with none) was a nice idea, but do not fit the front floor at all and can't be used. Perhaps a discount on factory floor mats would be helpful to used car customers with carpet issues. I did receive fair discount with price though, due mostly to the damaged carpet. The exterior still had sticky residue on the car, and it did not seem to have been washed very well. 2. When a pre-arranged time is set up, it should not take as long as it did to finalize a sale. The paperwork part was not organized well? Or ready and checked in advance? Perhaps because i worked with Paul over the phone but Dustin at the dealership? The fax was missing from my insurance company, which luckily was straightened out and was not the fault of Mastro, but could have been checked for earlier in the afternoon. When discovered, it was just after 5pm and may have prevented completion of sale if the insurance agent had already left for the day. Other paperwork issues were needed corrections, such as mis-spelling my name, which meant re-printing, and incorrect down payment amount (had arranged over the phone to bring more than the original),etc. I did contribute to the length of time by being slow to decide on the warranty and gap ins. options. A print-out of the options and prices should be given to customers to take their time looking over in advance if they prefer. It is not a problem with this dealership-I think it is a universal car finace problem. It was helpful that Mark took time with me while waiting on paperwork to show me in more detailed instruction many of the car's features and their use. Overall, I did not expect to be there as long as I was and probably an hour less could have been accomplished. All the other outstanding things mentioned earlier in this rating made me very willing to recommend this dealership, and to work with them in the future. And to try their service department as well. Thank You

Tracy at Mastro Subaru definitely went out of her way to make the purchasing experience as good as possible. When the dealership was recommended to me I was a little skeptical because it was a four hour drive to get the car and once travelling there, most dealerships would take advantage that after four hours of driving, you would be over a barrel and you would have to take whatever they gave you.Not Mastro! After driving four hours, I arrived at the dealership tired, but ready to see what they had for me. I must say that with all my car buying history, I was pleasantly surprised to get there and the numbers matched exactly as I was quoted. I would be fibbing if I said part of me wasn't expecting to have a battle on my hands to see the quoted numbers change after the boss and finance man touched the contracts. The car was ready as promised, the contracts and paperwork were completed quickly and all I had to do was sign on the dotted line. We talked over available options that might be worthwhile and finished the paperwork in a speedy fashion. I was even given a ride back to the rental car location so I could drop of my loaner car that I used to drive the four hours to their dealership.I must say that I was very excited to have such a great car buying experience and from now on, Mastro will be highly recommended to all my family and friends even if I have to drive them the four hours to the dealership myself so they can get their new car. Thanks Tracy for a wonderful experience and for making it as easy as possible.

Sent my dad in to take care of paper work and he was overwhelmed with how friendly everyone was, how clean the dealership was. He said that this was the kind of dealership he would like to do business with. Subaru can take it as a feather in their cap that Mastro Subaru is one of theirs. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are located so far away from me here in Michigan.

This is the second subaru outback that I've bought from Mastro. My husband and I no longer live in the area, so it should tell you something that I drove 5 hours to buy my new outback from them. I'd recommend this dealership and the staff to anyone!!

We visited this dealership on a Saturday morning to look at Foresters after speaking with Richard the previous afternoon. We arrived earlier than planned, and were immediately seen by a sales rep - shown the car, taken for a test drive - all with no pressure, and at all times were treated with great courtesy and respect. The sales negotiations were again very professional, low key and with no pressures. The price offered for our trade was certainly acceptable, and thereafter the sales staff made the follow on administration easy. When I returned at the agreed to time to swap cars, all was ready. A final signature on the cheque, followed by a quick swap of keys, walk around, shaking of hands and I was off in less than 30 minutes (including a cup of excellent coffee). If you're looking for experienced, not pushy and knowledgeable sales staff, and finance people that know how to work the numbers to give you a decent break - look no further. No pressure, no hurry and no worry. So far so good - an excellent and knowledgeable sales team all roundBill PondMajor

First time in a great while that I have stepped foot into a dealership and not felt pressured. Katie & Paul were both ultra-friendly and accommodating and made my son's car shopping/buying experience a good one. Altough we drove 45 minutes to get there, the next time we are car shopping I'll look at Mastro first - THANK YOU !!

I have owned a Subaru outback for 10 years. This car had 220K miles on it; I was planning on a purchasing a new replacement sometime this year. As fate would have it my outback literally broke down in front of Maestro Subaru in Tampa Fl on January 12th. I was able to nurse car into the dealership for service and was told that the repair would be $4,000. (Broken keyway on the flywheel severely affecting the engine timing) needless to say I was walking home if I didnt purchase a replacement. This isnt how I wanted to buy a new vehicle but I wasnt offered any options. I have been dealing with maestro for 10 years; I always brought my car into this dealer for any major repairs. (I was disappointed that the dealer did not offer me a ride home that day so I could think about such a purchase) I did purchase a legacy sedan but had I had a day or two to think about my options I would have purchased the Outback.

I have had 11 Subaru's, dating back to 1983. All of these have been bought at Mastro. My 2007 had 90,000 miles and the transmission blew up. I then traded for a 2009 Forester. This was a different model for me for I have driven Outback's for years. Unfortunately it's transmission blew at 30,000 miles. This was upsetting to me and all the folks at Mastro. I was re-thinking my relationship and car choices. What happened after that has been great. I now have a 2010 Outback; to date the best car I have driven from Subaru. Steve Mastro was able to get some help from his corporate partners and helped on the price, because of the faulty trans in the Forester. These folks are incredible. I am on the road for my business and my family so comfort and safety are important components to my life. Mastro has satisfied both. The sales staff was great; they made every accommodation you can imagine; and brought the car to me with a full tank. They transferred all my things and re-installed my satellite radio. Thanks to them. Great car!! best ride, more leg room; and the gas mileage is incredible!! I love this car. Even my 15 year old daughter who is tired of seeing Subaru's commented it had a sleeker look....and she knows...;) They are truly a good friends to me at Mastro and a great rep for Subaru.Keith Dreier

Gentleman, I got on line and contacted the dealership. I spoke with Richard (Dick). Came in unannounced and could not speak to Dick as he was busy with another customer. This is when we (the wife and myself) got our first introduction to Mastro's staff. All of which could not have made us more comfortable. When we spoke to Dick he then turned us over to Eric. Our intention was to test drive an Outback. Consumer Reports rated very high. One of our requirements was to have a 6 cylinder. The other was a trailer-hitch that did not look like someone just bolted it on. They (Mastro) made the commitment that this is possible and could be done. There were none available in stock at the present time.We were invited to test drive a Tribeca with the 6H. This was a very none pressured test drive. This dealer knows how to make a customer feel comfortable. Got back from the test drive and sat down to the table to negotiate the deal. This too was a Very low pressure experience. The trade number was made. The price of the vehicle was agreed on. was The commitment that the trailer hitch would be installed with a transmission cooler and a loaner car supplied. We were the new owners of a 2010 Tribeca. All around very obvious why this dealer can be a stand alone dealer in the world of mega dealers. Great Job Mastro. A small foot note of our experience with Subaru. In 1978 we were looking for property in Idaho. We got into the salesman's car and drove up the side of a mountain. No roads, no trail. Just drove up the side of the mountain in a Subaru with 250,000 miles on the odometer. Very impressed. It took us this long to make the commitment. Long story short. Mastro made it simple. Have dealt with Mastro Subaru of Tampa for 13 years and have purchased 3 vehicles over that time. Have used Mastro for all of our service requirements for these vehicles. Cannot say enough about how fantastic this dealer is for both sales and service. It is a pleasure to do business with them. Never have I had to return a vehicle for something that was not done right the first time. Plus they are definitely professional in their dealings with the customer.

Had a great experience with Mastro Subaru, This is my third car I have bought from them. Always friendly and helpful there. Dick took the time to tell me about all the features of the new car, expecially the Navigater, Since it was new to me. It was New Years eve and closing and they were not hurrying anyone. Made you feel comfortable while there waiting. The added Security was thoroughly explained. They took time to see that the car got to service area for cleaning before they left so I would not have to come back. I had call before I got there and they knew the car I was coming to see and they had taken it out of the showroom for me.Great bunch of people.

I went to this dealer to look at a used 2004 Jeep Wrangler that I saw listed for sale on the internet. I have purchased many vehicles over the years both new and used, and I wanted a used Jeep as a second vehicle. The first thing that caught my attention was the internet add, it had more information in it than all of the other ads I had searched through, and believe me that was plenty. I arrived at the dealership and located the Jeep on the lot, and I was soon greeted by a very friendly (and very pretty) young woman named Katie Conley. WE took the Jeep for a test drive and then began the process of coming to terms on a price. I will say the price I got on the Jeep in the end was a Fair price, not too high or too low, but very fair. What I got with it was excellent service from Katie, along with each and every other employee of Mastro Subaru whom I came into contact with. I made a few observations while I was there, mostly of all the employees who were present on this Saturday afternoon. I noticed that they were all happy with their jobs and didn't seem to fit the typical "car salesman" stereotype I've experienced so many times in the past. Everyone was professional, but also genuinely friendly and eager to satisfy their customers. This dealership has been in my home town for many years, and this was my first time doing business there. I must say I am sorry I waited so long. In simple terms, I rated this dealership the way I did because they made me happy, they treated me VERY well, they did exactly what they said they would, and had a vehicle that I wanted which I got for a fair price. The dealership uses a slogan in their television add that says "Our Reputation Rides With You". If you give them the chance, they will prove it. If you make the trip, ask for Katie, you wont be disappointed.

We have been Subaru owners for many years and bought many Subarus. After we moved from Virginia to Florida, initially we had a hard time finding a good Subaru dealership close to us for maintenance service, and we were contemplating on buying a Toyota as our next vehicle, but decided to stop at Mastro for the heck of it on our way from Tampa airport to our home 83 miles north of Tampa. Tracy Lane approached us and showed us the 2010 Subaru Outback. The vehicle was great as Subarus are in our opinion, but what kept us as a Subaru customer was the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism every employee of this dealership treated us with. Tracy knew the product well, took the time to explain throughly the changes Subaru made to the outback and she was just great to deal with. She was not pushy, she respected our opinion and our desires and made this car shopping experience a great pleasure. Before we left Mastro in our new SDubaru, we actually hugged each other as though we were lifelong friends. It needs to be noted that we are picky in the way our cars are treated and taken care of and the maintenanceservice we have been receiving from Mastro is top notch. IK would highly recommend Floridians to even go out of their way to use this dedalership.Mrs. Zerrin Langer

I have purchased two pre-owned and one new vehicle from Mastro Subaru over the past three years! Each and every purchase was excellent. They consistantly go above and beyond to make it an awesome experience! I was never pressured and I actually had a lot of fun! Also after my most recent purchase, Mastro offered to pay adoption fees if I wanted to adopt a pet, I'll be taking advantage of that for sure! I really like the fact that I do business with a "down to earth" dealer, a dealer with substance not only with what they do, but in the community as well! I have and will continue to recommend this dealer to any and all who ask. Thanks Again Mastro Subaru!

I was looking for a Good condition, used 4 door car.Bill took the time to show me many cars including the VW Jettathat I eventually purchased. The car was extremely clean and even had new tires and a fresh oil change. The car was about a thousanddollars less than kbb, so I feel I got a great deal. I like the dealership so much that I recommended my brother to them and he also purchased a vehicle. Thanks again.

I have been a loyal Mastro Subaru customer for over 15 years and would highly recommend this dealer for both sales and service. Pete and Steve Mastro work hard to keep customers satisfied and exemplify everything that is right in a automotive dealership. I have recommended Mastro Subaru to both family and friends and all parties that have dealt with the Mastro Subaru group only have rave reviews about their experience.

The salesman was a very friendly and knowledgeable of the product. Dick went out of his way to get a 2010 Subaru Outback from Orlando in my color of choice with a moon roof. I dealt with Honda on a CRV and the salesman was uniformed and was not interested in getting me a vehicle in the color of choice. Subaru impressed me with the sporty style and what better honor could you have than owning a vehicle that has been chosen as SUV of the year. The Outback handles very nicely and I know it will come in handy living in the mountains of Tennessee. All the staff at the dealorship were pleasant and not pushy (like most car dealorships). I am very satisfied with my experience and purchase of the Outback.Looking forward to many years with the vehicle and I have a feeling that I will join the club of once an Subaru owner you will never go back to other makes of vehicles. Thanks a million for everything.Chuck MillerSouth Pasadena FL

Lauren provided excellent customer service. I did not feel rushed or pressured and she took the time to either answer or get answers for me as my questions came up. Even though Lauren is new to the dealership, it's clear that neither she nor Mastro are your typical car dealership. They're definitely worth your time and your money since you're treated so well.

WE WANTED A GREAT PRICE AND A FAST, EASY PURCHASE AND RECEIVED A GREAT PRICE AND FAST SERVICE. WE WANTED A FWD OR AWD THE HAD GOOD GROUND CLEARANCE FOR MOUNTAIN ROADS AND FOUND THE SUBARU FORESTER TO BE JUST THE VEHICLE WE WERE LOOKING FOR AT 8.7 GROUND CLEARANCE. SINCE WE HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING VEHICLES FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, WE DECIDED ON THE SUBARU FORESTER FOR SAFETY, RELIABILTY, QUALITY, LOOKS, AND OPTIONS. TO SUM UP THE PURCHASE DECISION, WE FEEL THAT WE GOT MORE FOR OUR MONEY THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE OUT THERE.

Buyer beware. If you are considering dealing with Mastro, suggest you contact me at 904-264-0843 first. Don't repeat my stupidity. This dealership intentionally concealed a fault in a used car I purchased from them. High mileage car, so no warranty involved, but one would expect some semblance of honesty and forthrightness. Mastro Subaru lacks both. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

What’s more, Mastro Subaru of Tampa has been on the market for a very long time and remains the preferred dealership for buyers looking for used cars and trucks for sale. From low mileage used cars to cheapest used cars, there is something for you from Mastro Subaru. Check out the listings today to find the right car for yourself. Mastro Subaru is definitely the best place to buy used cars online.
