Bobby was amazing to work with! I highly recommend asking for him if you are looking into getting a new vehicle. He is very upfront and open with customers, and is truly in it for your best interest. I have bought multiple cars from this location, but he is by far my favorite sales professional I have worked with at any dealership. It truly was a no hassle, no pressure experience. I came in with a negative equity situation not expecting to be able to purchase a new car, well Bobby got me into a brand new Toyota Camry with payments exactly where I wanted them. Couldn't be happier! Also the finance manager Greg Perry was great, he did not pressure me into some crazy expensive warranty like some dealerships will try to do. He got me a very great priced warranty I was pleased with, and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Both Bobby and Greg stayed past closing with me to help get everything wrapped up, and didn't complain one bit. I will forever come back here! Thank you Bobby & Greg!! You both are amazing

Everyone we spoke with was great. Our sales guys, Skyler was amazing! Greg and Mike -The finance guys were just as awesome! They all were very personable and down to earth. From drive up to drive away it was painless and easy. Probably no more then 2 hours and it was a done deal. We even reached out with some questions to Skyler on his day off and he was very prompt on responding and let us know everything we needed. Definitely a place we will be returning too when we want to trade-in/purchase our next car!!

After going to more than 5 dealerships looking for the right truck. We came to look at a truck that ended up not meeting our needs. Skyler was great, not pushy, and understood that they just didn’t have what we needed. He had said he be happy to keep his eyes open for what we were looking for. As we were leaving the lot, he chased us down because he thought they might have our perfect vehicle somewhere on their lot. He showed it to us on his phone and “yes! We want to see it”!!! He went and found it and it was the best truck we had seen. Negotiations were pleasantly simple. We drove it home and we love it!

I have always had good experiences with Vancouver Toyota. I feel comfortable bringing my cars in and having them do what is appropriate, and they will. I recently was informed of a recall on my 4Runner. I was just not getting around to calling to get it done. They called me! Asked if I’d like to make an appointment? Took care of it (of course no cost to me). Courteous, friendly, on time… sure not my fathers Oldsmobile place.

Awesome staff and service. My Tacoma Trail Edition was a special order purchase and all who were involved did an amazing job. I had to wait a month before my vehicle made it to the store, but the entire time any changes or updates were forwarded to me via text or email. Communicating to me even the smallest of details was very appreciated. Highly impressed with the quality of service I received.

This will be your experience :- Will have you apply for credit before discussing price or if they even have your car in stock.- Will add a $541 dealer advertising fee to your price and a $9 gasoline charge. If you question this, they will say they personally, their parents and grandparents paid these fees. It's just something everyone pays.- Will disappear for 10 min at a time getting "approval from their manager" for every little thing.-Will guilt trip you saying they are losing money on the deal and selling it at a loss.- Will not disclose cash back or low APR promotions from the manufacturer. If you bring it up, they will say they are already losing money on the car and not sure they can honor them.-Will constantly pressure you with "Do we have a deal?!"These are time wasting manipulations straight out of the Shyster Car Salesman 101 playbook. I walked out but at least I have had some good laughs with friends about it. I feel sorry for the people who fall for it and get bilked out of thousands.

I had a few issues other dealers just put it off as that's just the way the car is. I figure find a dealer who doesn't give me that answer but actually tries to figure out the problem. They did and guess what that wasn't the way the car is. I recommend this dealer to anyone.

This dealer doesn't have nitrogen for the tires. They tried to sell me a new steering shaft at 78,000 miles, something which no other dealer told me. I just moved here, but it's obvious they want to make money of you. For just a few hours they charge a ton of labor. Definitely more expensive than Sacramento California and Boise Idaho. They didn't fix a lose end of the front and didn't offer a service plan for $80,000 miles, something that all other dealers do. Stay away from this Toyota dealer.

Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Bought a 2014 XLE Sienna new. (It's my second new sienna as my old one was a 2004 from a different dealership.). Had 2 free years of oil changes on my 2014. Took it in for my last oil change and after an 1 hour 45 minute wait, thought I'd check to see if it was done. Nope. Hadn't been started. Completely missed. Said they would get it back right away and sorry about the error. I didn't have another hour to give. They ended up sending me a credit for the unused oil change because coverage was up and I went somewhere else paying out of pocket. Final straw happened today. My car was bought 2 years and 4 months ago. I've put on about 47000 miles on it. I have it sitting at another shop because the alternator went out. After a few estimates, this is a 700 repair. I called Toyota to see if they could meet me half way as I knew the warranty was 3 years/36000 miles. While I hit the 3 year mark-I was out of luck with the miles. Now I'm out an extra $700. Save yourself. Go somewhere else.

purchased last year, from out of state, one of the last FJ's. saleman and sales manager assured us this was a "manager perk" car from the beginning, and demanded cash immediately before any pictures of info would be aent to us that wasn't wasn't in original internet advertizement. they also assured me, since we would put many miles on it returning home, that the oil would be changed, and tired rotated. such a simple act of customer satisfaction, right? upon arrival, the service was not completed because the vehicle was just a few miles out of the scheduled service. these promises and agreements were in writing, too. but appears they saw out-of-state'ers that were anxious to get home.there was ZERO new owner walk around or familiarization with the vehicle. just "here's the keys".upon returning home and taking the FJ to a local dealership, we were told the vehicle did, in fact, have a prior owner!!strange, too, the dealership manager, nor the owner, would return our phone calls. more disappointment, as a formal complaint to toyota customer care in the U.S. was made, toyota of america didn't have much to say about this dealership's practices.gald we have the vehicle, would never recommend vancouver toyota, ever.

An appointment was made for my Avalon at 9:15 am with front brake service and full alignment which I was told should take 5 hours and be ready for pick up after 3:00 pm. When I was getting ready to pick up the car at 3:00 pm, a Kathy called and said nothing had done to my car because an additional of $2,500 repair are required. I questioned why Toyota kept my car for 6 hours and didn't perform any repairs and she answered she was told to call me after 2:00 pm. A subsequent phone call was made to Jaime G., the Assistant Repair Manager, in the hope to explain why no repair work was performed. He got really upset during the conversation, totally lost it and claimed his "integrity" was being questioned. More followup phone calls were made to the Service Department Manager Karie and General Manager, however, they were all gone for the day at 3:30 pm. The gentleman who answered the phone claimed he just came to work 3 days ago and has no clue who is in charge of Toyota after two managers went home. I paid to get my car back and hope other customers have better luck than me! Sadly, I bought all my cars from McCord and hate to see it gone ....

I originally went to McCords when I saw a Corolla LE ECO Plus listed on their website. I was helped by Peter Gregg when I got there. We went to look at the car and discovered it was damaged and hadn't yet been in to be repaired. Peter assured me that they would still fix the damages for me if I wanted to stay with this car. I was a little too uncomfortable with this, so we went and looked at other vehicles in the same year and price range. We found this gorgeous 2014 Corolla S near the front. Peter has a great planned out test drive that takes about 30 minutes and showcases highway and city driving and parking using the back up cam and incredible turning radius. I don't have the best credit and when they gave me an offer for under $400 a month I was more than eager to get this car! Bryan Gregg (unrelated to Peter) was my finance rep. He was patient, funny, just an all around great person to work with through way too much paperwork. The Toyota Credit services were understaffed today and Bryan let me leave with the new car to go to work. He called me later to inform me that Toyota wanted way more money down because of my credit. These amazing people figured out a deal to knock off 3/4 of what they wanted from the purchase price so I only had to cover the remaining fourth! Their commitment to their customers is amazing and way beyond what was expected to buy a car. Peter and Bryan are McCord's rockstars!!!!! I was not asked to write a review, the excellent service I received prompted me to.

My husband and I recently purchased a new truck through McCords Vancouver Toyota. This truck was a special order that took a few months to get. Prior to ordering the truck my husband talked to the salesman (Michael Furey.) and he gave my husband a trade-in amount for his current truck. When our truck came in we went to the dealership to test drive it. The entire test drive was awkward to say the least. I made small talk with Michael inquiring about his job, his family, etc. Michael did not take a personal interest in us at all. He didnt ask about our children, our personal lives, he simply talked about himself and proceeded to direct my husband on how to drive (very condescendingly). Yes, some might call it a personality conflict- I would call it poor customer service. Then the fun really began. We sat down with Michael knowing that we would be paying the full MSRP on the truck- there wasnt room to negotiate on the price because it was a special order truck. We were ok with that- the issue we had was in concerns to the trade-in value. Somehow, in the span of 60-90days the trade-in value of our truck had dropped almost $2k- this was our third (extra) vehicle and the mileage had barely changed (i.e. we rarely drove the trade-in vehicle). Michael said he would talk to his sales manager/used car person to see if there was flexibility in the trade-in value. We went back and forth a couple of times and at one point said, if you arent going to honor the trade-in value that you gave us when we ordered the truck then we would like the difference in comped accessories. Michael presented that idea to his sales manager (Rob) and then came back to give us a number for the trade-in. My husband said, that doesnt work for us- what about the accessories? Michael said, well you can get any of those you like, I can get you the price on those items. He knew very well that we were asking what Rob said about comping some of the accessories due to the low trade-in value and he was simply jerking us around and being inconsiderate. At this point we said, bring Rob over and we will talk to him directly about the trade-in value. Michael went over to Rob and said something to the extent of, people always come in here and you think its going to be an easy transaction and then it turns in to a nightmare. This was not what was said verbatim but bottom line- the sales person that was helping us loudly complained about us (the customer) and we could hear him because we were only 20ft away! I was livid, I got up and confronted him about it. I was told that I misheard what was said thats not the case. If this truck had not been special ordered we would have walked out of the dealership at this point- my husband and I were both furious. We switched salespersons at that point. Before the new salesperson came over Rob walked over and started talking to us about our trade-in. I dont know if he was upset with Michael F. over his actions but Rob was puffed up and angry. He pretty much said this is the deal- you can take it or leave it. It was absolutely unacceptable to feel like our business wasnt worthwhile to the dealership- on top of already receiving poor customer service it was icing on the cake to be talked down to by Rob.After a little back and forth he agreed on a trade-in value that included a comped remote less start as an add-on. At this point it was time to talk with the finance department. Everett was our finance guy and when he came out to bring us to his office he introduced himself to my husband, shook his hand and led us back. Once we were seated in his office I introduced myself and reached across the desk to shake his hand. I asked him point blank, why didnt you introduce yourself to me when you greeted my husband? He looked uncomfortable; he said I wasnt looking at him so he didnt have an opportunity. That was a blatant lie, I was watching him carefully to see if he would treat us equally and introduce himself to both of us. Even my husband noticed that I was completely ignored, I had to take the initiative to introduce myself. It was embarrassing to witness such disrespect in a customer service oriented transaction, was I not worth a handshake and introduction because I was just the wife? Thats how it felt. Lastly, throughout this transaction we were pre-approved with IQ Credit Union- they were our chosen lender. This was discussed at multiple times while we were looking at rate sheets and determining which loan term we wanted. Somehow though, at the end of the transaction I noticed Toyota Finance on the loan docs. I pointed it out to Everett and let him know that we were only interested in financing through IQ and that was explicitly clear so Im unsure where the mistake was made. He said it was an honest mistake because Toyota had the same financing rate and term. Yes, the term and rate may have been the same but it wasnt an honest mistake. The finance department was trying to underwrite our loan through their own finance company probably assuming that we wouldnt look at the fine print. I requested that he reverse out that transaction and he re-printed the loan docs with IQ Credit Union as the lender. I felt like each point of the car buying process was tinted with poor customer service, sneaky tactics and degrading/condescending behavior. There were a few people along the way that did provide great customer service and they deserve recognition; the final salesperson that we dealt with; Brian Ramsdell, was very kind and efficient and Larissa in the Accessories department was also wonderful and very knowledgeable. Outside of those few people mentioned above I can honestly say that this was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever been involved in. My husband and I are not bad people, we did not raise our voice, we were not rude and we did nothing to deserve the treatment we received. We came to the dealership per-approved with a trade-in that had already been valued- it really should have been an easy and quick process. I cannot in good faith recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. I wish it had been a better experience, our transaction at McCords is not one that I will ever forget.

This dealership runs a bait and switch scam. I have been shopping for a Certified Prius for weeks and on 2/6/16 at 8:30PM I found a listing on Auto Trader for VIN #JTDKN3DU8F0420333, a 2015 Prius Package 2 with 14,601 miles for $14,994 listed by McCord's Vancouver Toyota. I took a screen shot and printed out the ad while using the chat function to set up a viewing at the dealer on 2/7/16 between 11AM and noon. I found the same vehicle advertised at the same price on Cars.com and Kelly Blue Book, and also took screen shots and printed those ads out as well. On 2/7 at 8:30 AM I checked the ads, and they were all still showing the same car at the same price, so my whole family got in the car for a long drive to the dealership. At 10:39AM I received an email from Jeff Williamson, the Internet Sales Manager, letting me know that the car I chatted about last night was available and he would happily help me with my purchase. We pulled into the dealership about 11:30AM and while trying to find the car were approached by a nice salesman. We found the vehicle and started to inspect it while he brought one of our printouts inside to get the keys. When he returned, he informed us that it had "just been sold first thing this morning, somebody took advantage of us and bought it for 14, when it was supposed to be priced at 17". He then tried to steer us to a nearly identical Prius (2015 Package 2 in the same color with 14,248 miles) that was priced at $19,997. We said no thank you, we are here to buy the car we saw advertised and if it wasn't available we would leave. While getting in the car I attempted to call Jeff, who did not answer any of his direct lines. I then called the dealership's general number and spoke with a receptionist, Amanda, who said that Jeff had just walked in and that's why he didn't answer my calls. She then placed me on hold for several minutes while she checked with the Used Car Department, where she confirmed that the vehicle was still available. I said great, we will come over to see the car and meet with Jeff. She said that he and the car would be waiting for me.As I tried to go back into the dealership, the same salesman saw me and asked if I would like to see the other car now, and I told him no, I was just informed that the car was still available and that I would like to speak to Jeff. He informed me that Jeff was not available and brought me to the back counter to speak with Nate, who was with another customer. While waiting, Amanda called me back and said that she was sorry, but the car had been sold. I then spoke with Nate, who was extremely rude and started complaining that they made a mistake on the price and I should never expect to get that car at that price. I only asked him whether or not it was sold as the dealership only opened at 10AM. He pointed to a couple sitting at a desk with a bunch of paperwork and price tags on it stating "$19,997" and said that they were buying it for $17,000 because the dealership compromised with them over the mistake that was only on a Toyota website and not their fault. I said that this was classic bait and switch and showed him my 3 completely different ad printouts from Auto Trader, Cars.com, and Kelly Blue Book, and left.At 8:52PM I checked on Toyota Certified and found the VIN # still listed and used the chat function again, where the representative informed me that the car was available and tried to set up an appointment for me to test drive it. I do not believe that they made a mistake or that they sold the car. I will be would be reporting them to the Washington State Attorney General's office for advertising fraud.

slightly annoyed because I sold a car to this dealership and it has been a month and I have not recieved payment. I understand transfer of the title takes time, but for right now, I have neither the vehicle nor the 10,000 in equity from the vehicle. It has been a waiting game and I recieved zero correspondence from the dealer until I demanded an explainationand and lost my cool over the phone.

A loyal toyota fan 4 so far. Wanted to buy at my local dealer but what a crock! Typical swarm of salesmen all over you, tried to sell us a car we did not want, I did find a good vehicle and then had to put up with hours of BS of him trying to sell me exras. Ordered floor mats , they didn't bother order them once they had the money. The salesmen. tried to slip in some stuff we did not ask for which I caught and deleted and then had some phoney $150 charge for nothing which they do not disclose at signing. Sorry , Dont go there. One caveat I have had good service with them my problem is with used car sales.

I have bought four cars at McCord's over the years. I always have them serviced at McCord's. I have NEVER had a bad experience with McCord's either when buying a car OR having it serviced. I will always be a loyal McCord customer. They have earned my business and I recommend them to others as well.

Every time I've left their service department I've left annoyed. I even swore previous time to never go back since my toyota care expired, but they lured me in with a coupon so I figured I'd give them one more chance. Appointment at 8:30, show up 8:25 check in and told 9:30 finish time. At 10:00 I go to them and ask what's up, "Have the paperwork, just a couple more minutes" About 5 minutes later they find me. She apologizes and says that she took some off the bill, I see a -$24 and think, Ok that's more than fair on a ~$50 bill. Then she gives me the total...$54, wait...what??? I thought you took off $24. Oh no I took off $4 off the $20 you already get off for the coupon. Wow thanks 4 whole dollars for being off your estimate by 60%, that's not even 10%. Didn't even quite cover the tax. Could have at least come found me and given me an update.Last time. Appointment at 7:00 AM first thing, show up 6:50 already a line in front of dealership of people dropping off their cars. 7:20 before they even get to me. Tell me 8:30. Ends up being closer to 9:00. How about you serve the customers who have appointments at 7:00 first. If it takes an average of 75 minutes to do the job quote 90. Under promise over deliver makes people happy. Over promise, under deliver makes people angry.

As a preface, I rarely write reviews and never write bad reviews. It takes a lot to get me to take the time to actually give a business a rating. However, I am frustrated enough with my experience with McCord Toyota this past month that I am writing a review: in part, to vent; mostly to enlighten others and help them avoid the same experience I had. To be up front, I have no wish to have McCord fixing issues with my car for free that are not of their making; but I am fairly sure that the issues that I will describe below were a result of their work. As a background, I own a 2004 LS430 Lexus. I am the second owner and bought the car last February. The first owner took immaculate care of the care; it only had 83,000 miles on it when I got it, which is practically brand new for a Lexus. I take super care of the car making sure that it has maintenance regularly. In July, I noticed that my car had developed some water spots that wouldnt come off with normal cleaning. I decided to get the car professionally detailed because I didnt want to wax over the top of these spots and make the issue worse. I got two bids on an external detailing job, but decided on McCords since I had used them once before for an oil change (and even so, considered them my go-to shop) and since they had Toyota tacked onto their name, I figured that they would stand behind their work should any issues arise. Apparently, I was wrong.I brought my car in for a detailing (and routine fluid/tire pressure inspection) on July 17th in the morning; I picked it up in the evening. Externally, the car looked nearly brand new and I was impressed with the job that they did. As I drove away, I noticed that the side mirrors were adjusted all the way toward the inside of the car, but waited to readjust them until I got to my home (five minutes away). When I got into my driveway, I tried adjusting my side mirrors. When I tried, the mirrors on either side wouldnt budge (and yes, I had the selector switch selecting the appropriate mirror). Since I bought the car, I have had intermittent issues with the left mirror left-right rotation. I have had no issues, though, with up-down movement on the left mirror or up-down/left-right movement on the right mirror. Confused I ended up rolling down my windows and adjusting them by hand. When I went to roll up my left window, it got stuck. It would roll partially up and then stop. After a few seconds, I could roll it up a bit more and then, it seemed, the motor would die again. Mildly alarmed, I tried my right window and after a few cycles it exhibited the same behavior. My windows have never had an issue and the combination of all three issues at once convinced me that McCord had done something during the detail or routine inspection.I called McCord and talked to Wendy, one of the customer service representatives. She told me that if the issue continued that they would look into it. I brought my car back into McCords on July 21st for a diagnostic, as the issues did not go away. I tried to explain to the girl at the counter what happened and that I talked to Wendy and that they needed to stand behind their work and check out the car. She was very reluctant to understand that they might have had anything to do with the problem and told me that they would have to charge me $110 for the diagnostic. I left with the understanding that I might or might not be charged for them to diagnose a problem I was pretty sure they created; I questioned in my mind whether they would have a motivation to prove their own error, but hoped that they would do the right thing and get to the bottom of the issue. I got a call that afternoon (I think from Wendy) that they found that the side mirror button was worn out due to age and that it would be $400 for the button (I dont remember how much for the labor). They couldnt recreate the issue with the windows. They assured me (as if they were being generous) that I wouldnt be charged for the diagnostic. I was pretty skeptical that they tried very hard to diagnose anything, because the window issue was occurring every 3-5 cycles and was very repeatable. Sure enough, when I went to pick up my car that evening, the first time I rolled my windows down one of them (I dont remember which) got stuck. When I checked out, the girl at the desk gave me Kerrie Keesees card, the Service/Tire manager. I figured if I went up a level, maybe I could get some action. So, I e-mailed Kerrie, explaining the details of my situation and asking whether I could meet her personally to discuss the issue. Crickets... didnt hear from her. A couple of days later, Wendy called me in response to my e-mail to Kerrie and I discussed how disappointed I was in their response. They obviously didnt try very hard to diagnose the issue with the windows. Wendy came up with a couple of lame explanations for the issue (including it being a thermal switch feature) ummm, no. I am a mechanical engineer who works on electro-mechanical systems all day and motors are not designed to work like my windows are working (something is obviously broken). When I probed her about the possibility of the detailer getting water in my car, she assured me that they dont intentionally get water in cars... really??? Reluctantly, she told me that I could have my car looked at again. Frustrated and uneasy by the dodgy conversation that I had with Wendy, I e-mailed Kerrie again bluntly expressing my frustration with Wendy and with the fact that I had to bring my car in for a second time for something that should have been solved the first time. Crickets again. I followed up my e-mail with two phone calls to Kerrie because I wanted to be sure to talk to her when I took my car back in. She wouldnt pick up and there was no voice message option. On August 7th, I brought my Lexus in for a second diagnostic. When I first got there, I requested to talk to Kerrie, in person. The guy, Tom, who checked me in went to her office to find her, but, conveniently, she was not there. Before leaving, I took Tom out to my car to show him, in person, the window issue so that there would be no doubt that it existed. He called me in the afternoon to tell me that they found that the thermal switches in both windows are dying of old age. It would be about $1000 for both motors and $1300 for labor to replace them. He gave no explanation for how they would both start to fail at the same time (along with my side mirrors). When I went to pick up my car that evening, I asked to speak to the general manager, Phil. I was pretty impressed by talking to him. He was going to have his best mechanic look at my car, and was going to get Wendy, Kerrie, and the detailer in a room to discuss my situation. He assured me that they would get to the bottom of the issue. I finally felt like I was getting somewhere apparently, I was wrong. I was having the conversation with Phil at the front of his showroom and apparently he was in de-escalation mode, but had no intention of carrying through with his promises. Wendy called me on August 9th to tell me that I had e-mailed Phil (which I had not) and that they discussed my situation and decided there was nothing else they could do to help. To summarize, I am thoroughly frustrated by dealing with these folks. They have no interest in their customers beyond the easy money. They truly have a car salesman mentality and, by all appearances, only go through the motions for appeasement sake. I feel like everything I tried to do to resolve this issue was successfully dodged by them. In a conversation with a Lexus mechanic and a Lexus service manager from another dealership (just for a sanity check), they said that the motors in my car windows dont just go out. The Lexus mechanic said he has never replaced a window motor and, in fact, the motors arent kept in stock by distributors, but have to be special ordered. The total damage to my car isnt small either. It would be upwards of $3000 to fix both mirror button and windows; and, quite frankly, I have no confidence that they properly diagnosed the issues. My recommendation: get your Toyota/Lexus servicing done elsewhere. If there is an issue that arises from their work, dont expect them to stand behind it. Again, I dont want McCord to fix issues arising from the age of my car for free; but every conversation I had with McCord convinced me that they arent straight-shooters and that they are doing the bare minimum to address the issue. Again, two mirrors and two windows all die of old age on the same day really?? Yeah, mistakes happen, I get that however, not standing behind your mistakes is unacceptable!

When I went for a test drive, the salesperson asked for my license. He made a copy and left it "face up" on his desk while we were on the test drive. It was in the middle of the show room for anyone to see and had my name and address on it. My personal information should have been secured in a locked cabinet. I don't want to deal with a company that doesn't care to protect my personal information.

We bought our first Toyota at McCords and gave us a great deal.So why not go back since the first time they were so nice. We had to take our car back in after 3 days after we bought it because it had such a bad pull to the right that you couldn't barely drive it w/o using all your might to keep it straight. They told my fiance that he probably hit a curb and put it out of alignment so they said they would check it for a price. We decline went somewhere else where they checked it for free to find out that it had a perfect alignment and that we had a radial pull from the horrible cheap tires they had on the car. So before making our first payment and putting out $500 for a DP on the car we had to put out another $600 for brand new tires. After all that we than had a transmission leak from a bad a gasket and took it in and had it fixed at Toyota and they told us that it would be $170 for everything I said is that for EVERYTHING because it was such a great price and the MGR said "YES, that is for everything" That is why we took it there and then when my fiance got their to pick up the car they gave him the bill and it was almost a $100 more so he called me and I asked to talk to Mgr(who i talked to and she was the one handing him the bill) who gave me the price and then she said "oh I forgot to add the transmission fluid price on to that we HAD to pay that price I said "oh, that is too bad that is your problem not mine so they gave us the price of $170." she said "you are right, it says in my notes here that this total is for everything and I should have doubled checked." So now we have paid our car off over 2 years ago and went on their lot to look at Sequoias(older one that has decent miles and around $25K we weren't looking for top notch or new but we should still be treated as any other customer that comes in there and spends $55K+) and we were walking around one of the salesman come over and says"what you looking for?" we tell him and then he automatically goes right into "how much are you approved for?" Still by this point there was no introduction or anything no name NOTHING. Then he says" well, the only one we have that is used is $55K." Still no intro still no name etc.. My fiance looks at him and says" So you are a Toyota lot and you ONLY have 1 used Sequoia and it's $55K then con't on to say "for that price I could buy a new one and so disappointed that your a Toyota lot and you have 1 used Sequoia when we saw a couple sitting on their lot." Then he walks away didn't even say have a nice day or good bye or anything it was like we were a bother because we didn't want to spend $55K on a car. My fiance says Thanks for no help and your no courtesy self you must have made your money for the day.. Then we walked away went home and I emailed and talked too a C/S rep or someone who introduced me to a sales mgr who asked me who we talked to and looked up their inventory and says we don't have a used Sequoia for $55K let alone our new ones are less who intern put me with I am not sure because I got no card he barely wanted to help me so and barely got any of our info in at what we were looking for so I know we will never get a call. Which is fine because they are overly priced anyways and rude. That guy also was in a hurry and didn't really want to help us and was telling the computer to hurry up I have people in financing. So I felt unappreciated as a customer and will never send anyone over there again. After I told my family and a couple of our friends about what happened they told me that they were treated the same way and will not be returning there and will pass the word on not to go there and we are ourselves praying that we find what we are looking for before they find anything so we can say "We found somewhere that actually cared enough and didn't mind helping us and our money was just as good as anyone else who spends $60K if they are even trying to find us anything. This place is a joke. Too bad for them because they have lost 3 sales and all them in the past 3 months where my family and friend spent Almost $45K-60K on their cars and trucks. All because this joke of a place has enough money they can afford to lose that kind of money in short amount of time. I wonder if the owners know how their new and loyal customer are treated.. If I had returning customers and they recommended people to me I would in fact insure that they got the best deal of their life and the best car buying experience ever so they would return and keep recommending people. Right now I have a friend that is buying a $60K Mercedes(this is including my sister and mom and another friend that spent almost $60K on each one of their cars thats $240K in cars of lost sales SAD!!SMDH) because of this place. She really wanted a brand new Sequoia but this place turned her off so bad that she will never buy a Toyota. She has also told everyone NOT to shop at McCords. My family too told everyone too. Way too go McCords glad you can afford losing business.. Do I recommend McCord's NEVER!!! Run Run you will get better service and probably a better deal somewhere else.. To everyone else good luck in your car shopping. P.S. Word of advice for McCords remember one nice deed or experience will go a long ways but may not go as far as you would like it to go but 1 negative experience for a customer will go 100X further. Also, remember that every person has more than 10 friends and those 10 friends have 10-20 friends that they will tell about their negative experience. Customer service is key to keeping a business going.

I've tried to buy a car at this dealership 3 times in the last 15 years. They do not treat women seriously. Every salesman was condescending, I was treated like I couldn't possibly be able to afford a new car. Literally did not even want to let me have a test drive. The last time I did drive a Prius V and looked at a Highlander. The salesman would not discuss price with me, saying that all their cars sell at MSRP or better. Well, there are dealers in Portland that make deals, I know. I got a good one.

We bought our 2012 Camry new from McCord's two years ago. A two year maintenance contract was included. We brought it in every 6 months for the required maintenance work. In mid-December they performed the last of the two-year maintenance work, but they didn't change the cabin air filter -- which was filthy despite us not be smokers or pet owners -- nor did they change the engine air filter which also was dirty because it too had never been changed in any of previous maintenance work. I had to go to an auto parts store to buy the parts so I could replace these myself, fortunately they are easy to do, but this work was supposed to have been done twice during the two years by the dealer. I can only conclude they wanted to save a few bucks by not changing the filters. I took pictures of the filters. I'll be sending them to the service manager.

I had a terrible experience selling my used car to Vancouver Toyota. After taking it in once to have it inspected and to have them make an offer, I left and told them that I thought it would sell for more to a private party. After my one and only visit Vancouver Toyota then proceeded to call me almost EVERY OTHER DAY to try to get me to come back in and sell my vehicle to them. The biggest issue is that after 2 weeks of their calls I finally decided I would be willing to sell my vehicle to them. I spoke to the representative on the phone and said I would drive it back in to sell it to them, but only if they were willing to increase their offer. The representative told me she would have to check with the used car manager and call me back. 15 minutes later she called back and said that they were going to offer me a higher amount and to bring it in as soon as I could. That same evening after driving 1.5 hours in rush hour traffic to get to Vancouver Toyota they then proceeded to tell me that, "not only will we not increase our offer, but we really think it is worth less than our original offer". The fact that this business blatantly lied and misled me only to get me into their dealership is disgusting. Because of these types of sales practices I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY OR YOUR BUSINESS.

I went in to test drive a 2014 Camry Hybrid base model and when it came to the point giving me a trade-in value for my 2011 Hyundai Elantra, which was in excellent condition, the sales person came back and said there was black smoke coming from the exhaust. I said that's impossible and she said "I witnessed it". At that point I had already been there going back and forth on the price for about an hour and after that comment, I was fed up and left. I took my car home (one mile away) and parked it in the garage. I immediately noticed a strong burning smell and found a ring of black gunk on the end of my tailpipe. Once I wiped it clean and restarted my car, the smell went away. I never smelled it before or after that day and I believe the appraiser purposely did something to my car to diminish the value. They had written on the estimate that the trade-in value for my car was "pending repair or warrant service". That same weekend, I traded in my car for $2,400 more than what they offered and now I'm driving a fully loaded 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid LTD.

MCCORD'S VANCOUVER TOYOTA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! We have had an on going issue with our vehicle and this dealership does not care to resolve the problem that they caused. The service department is lacking in customer service, management down. We even called the GM twice today and have not received a response. We have received second opinions from other places and decided to contact Scion. They are sending us to another Toyota dealership to resolve the issue. This dealership will never see another dime of my money.

We had a disappointing experience at McCords, when trying to buy a nearly new Toyota. We found a car that appeared to be a winner, but after that, things went downhill. The dealer quickly passed us off to the finance department, and there things slowed to a crawl. $500 in unexpected processing fees appeared (in addition to registration fees). Also, while they first said the car was 'rock solid', they moved to aggressively pushing their pricey extended warrentee for the "likely pricey repairs." We needed to put $2K on a credit card to hold the car, and we expected to return 2 days later to finalize the sale. In that second trip, we learned more about the car that made us decided against signing off on it. That was all fine, but it took 2+ weeks and many, many phone calls for them to begin to reverse the credit card charge. We ended up going to a different dealer, got a terrific car at a great price with NO extra fees, seamless service in closing the sale (including registration), and no pressure. It can be done, just not at McCords (at least for us).

Bought a used 2001 Lexus RX300 been tring for a week to get a couple of questions answered about my extended warranty. have had only one returned call out of about six...WTF??? I value my time!! I have bought a couple Toyota pickups from them over the years and never had any problems.. Called them today. The receptionist told me they come in at 9:30am, mind you this was at 8:30am!!!! Not sure when they left me a message that if it was Josh Or Joel in Finiance...Really getting pretty frustrated with the service here!! If they don't value thier customers the McCord's need to get rid of the people that are there to just collect a paycheck and get some people in there that value thier job and take care of thier customers!!! These employees they have now should be in unemployment line!!! I even had the courtisy to wait till about 10:00am to call back and was sent directly to voice mail!!! Even left a pleasent message and my number and please return my call as soon as you can please!! Well its been almost 2 hours and you got it !!!Nothing!!! Oh, by the way the questions are about the transmission that just went out without any warning!!! Just changed employment and really need the vehicle and only had it for a little over a year!!! Not real happy about thier customer relations at this dealership!! I think I'm going to send a copy of this review to the McCord's also!!! They really need to step up and take care of thier customers for without customers no PAYCHECK!!!! RIGHT!!! And I also work now in customer service and if we don't have customers we don't get paid!!!! sincerly, very dissatisfied customer!!!!

This is an all around outstanding honest dealership! I recently bought a new car from this dealership and was impressed with the quality of service I received. Paul was our sales person and was honest and put no pressure on us. There was no haggling over price he just told us what they could offer us and that was it. The finance guy was super nice and easy to work with. I was in and out of the dealer in less than 2 hours. After buying the car I have been into the service and parts department to buy and have accessories installed and was very impressed with their level of service as well. I definitely will recommend this dealer to anyone I know in the market for a Toyota.

We had a GREAT test-drive and price-negotiating experience. Joel seemed like he was a good guy. We made an appointment for 3 days later to come in and complete the sale. They had done NOTHING ahead of time to prepare for us. Joel said it would take about 30 minutes. We were there over 90 minutes and still are not done. Items we had agreed upon (car manual, cargo cover) are NOT in the car, the floor mats are not properly or safely installed. The finance guy absolutely refused to give us a copy of the "Toyota certified brochure"- after painstakingly going over it with us- what would be covered and not covered- wouldn't that be OUR information to have?We left with a VERY uncomfortable and unhappy feeling about this place. So many guys sitting and standing around (or playing on their ipads)- and so few actually helping get work done.

We had a very good test-drive and price negotiating experience. But 3 days later, when we arrived after our appointed time, they had done NOTHING to prepare for us to purchase the car! We were told to expect about 30 minutes for paperwork, we were there over an hour, and they STILL didn't have the basics done, such as a manual for the car. Now we have 5 days to get the agreed upon items, or we will have to envoke their 5 day return policy. The most frustrating part is, most of the time we saw most of the employees sitting around playing on their ipads.

I had a change of heart on a car I bought from a different dealership. The financing did not go through so it was my chance to back out. I didn't feel right about the car. I had my heart set on a Prius. My cousin suggested that I contact Flynn at McCord's where she purchased her FJ Cruiser. She said she really trusted him and he would help me get the best options and terms available. She was right, he was great to work with. He had the financing fully approved and my car ready when I got there. It was the easiest transaction at a dealership I have ever had. I love this car and I would send my friends to Flynn.

What a joke this outfit is. I left several messages for Emily in the service department. She neglected to call me back to answer my questions regarding my 2004 4runner. Set up an appt to have a my 4runner serviced by true customer service professionals. I own two small business in our local area and know how to treat customers with respect and kindness. We had trouble getting anyone to help us because they were so busy. We had 3 different people involved with helping us and we seemed to be more of a problem for them. We finally were told of a RAV4 that we could "wait" for. We gave them all of our personal information, did the financing and price agreement, trade-in evaluation, etc. Still, we weren't thrilled, as we seemed to be more of a problem for them. We were left sitting waiting/negotiating for hours. Afterward, we waited patiently for this vehicle to come in and were told it would be in before the end of the month. When we contacted them a few weeks later, we were told that the vehicle pricing would be different than we had agreed upon, our trade-in was not going to be the same as what they had promised on paper, and oh... they lost all of our paperwork. When we provided Charlie with our copies of the paperwork, he said the pricing on the paperwork we had was only going to be honored on the RAV4 that they had in stock... All 3 of the sales people we had dealt with knew that we didn't want the interior color of the one they had in stock. We had been told they could get this other one that had the same options and the color we wanted for the same price. We were contacted by another dealer and were told what price they could get this vehicle (SAME VIN #) for. Trying to be fair to Vancouver Toyota, we told them that if they could match the price and trade-in that we would buy from them, despite the truly awful customer service. Charlie told us there was no way they could meet the price much less the trade-in that the other dealer had offered. Soooo... We bought our 2010 RAV4 from Wilsonville Toyota and had a wonderful experience there.

These guys play the usual car dealership games. Hi pressure, tag team sales tactics, numbers games and flat out lying to customers makes one feel less than welcome at this dealership. I spent time talking to a salesman on a Monday, I went back on a Wednesday to try to close off the deal, only to be told that "he's off today". Later, while walking around the lot, I see the saleman that is supposedly off wandering around. Having to explain everything to a different salesperson on Tuesday only to be presented with higher numbers than on Monday was just a waste of time and somewhat disrespectful. I would not recommend this dealership unless you had time to waste or wanted to witness firsthand why car salesman are so detested in our society.

I almost made a deal here, but the final deal never made it to paper. I went back to see if we could do it, first thing the next morning, and of course nobody who made the original deal was there. Unfortunately the word I got back was "that deal didn't exist". Bad choice of words. They finally called me back several times to ask me to come back and do the deal, but I had already been to Dick Hannah Kia, where instead of being lied to and insulted, I was listened to and treated with respect. I spent 4k more, but instead of having to buy used to get the Toyota I wanted, I got a nicely loaded, brand new Kia Sedona. I suppose I should thank McCord's, really. Dick Hannah Kia is the best dealership I've ever dealt with, bar none.As for McCord's, I won't be back. I don't like customers who don't do their research, and then whine about the car buying process. Do your job and you'll get a good deal. Same goes for salespeople.
