Sarah Elliott was my Advisor and I have never had as professional and pleasant of an experience anywhere else. She was so conscientious and I never had to guess what was happening. She did everything she could for me to get a competitive price and her communication was outstanding!

Great experience with David Cox - he did a great job, was patient and took time to listen to what we were looking for. He took the time to send via email a detailed video of a vehicle that matched our search criteria - this made a huge difference saving us time going back and forth to the dealer looking for a vehicle. The closing/financing process could have been quicker but overall our experience was really top notch. Thanks David!

Welcoming, professional, friendly, and exceptional customer service made my buying experience pleasant from start to finish. My salesperson, David Cox and finance manager, Bernard, were personable, honest, and responsive to my needs and concerns. I am 100 % confident in my purchase and highly recommend anyone in the market for a new or used car to check out McDonald Automotive on Broadway.

We had a deal in place at another dealership (not VW) for a trade in price for our used vehicle as well as a sale price for an exact model we had just purchased 30 days earlier. Not totally sold on owning brand/model x2, the VW was our second choice. Having test drove the VW products earlier in the week, took our offer back to Brandon and Dave at McDonald VW and did and apples to oranges comparison on trade in and sale price for a comparable vehicle. Drove out 2.5 hrs later with a new Tiguan loaded with everything we wanted for a much better comparative price and over $1800 more trade in value than the other dealer's offer as well.Brandon was great source of info and beyond more than helpful in the process, Dave answered all the little details and sealed the deal as Brandon was a very busy guy - and we had just walked back in without an appointment.. After the fact, checked Trucar.com and found out we got out with less than lowest price available in our market - sweet.Quite honestly, as aggressively priced the first dealer was on their product and offer ( about $3k less than we had paid for exact same vehicle 30 days ago), the VW purchase was a MUCH better deal and a lot less hassle than before. The finance office experience was MUCH more relaxed as well - no animosity after the fact. Again - sweet.

I recently purchased a car from them, which purchased based off of inspection information from their mechanic which I later discovered was entirely fabricated. I have spent the past 3 weeks trying to contact them, and they have ignored my calls.

So I wasn't sure what car I wanted when I showed up at the dealership. Brandon was patient and 6 test drives later, I found the car I wanted. While we couldn't make a deal on my trade in, I ended up using Costco pricing, and during the deal, they missed giving me a discount I qualified for. When I arrived to pickup my old car the next morning, they had caught their mistake which was in their favor so they could have just said nothing, but redid the deal saving me another $1000. That spoke volumes to me about their ethics. It wasn't a high pressure sale easy, this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had buying a car

I was looking for a Volkswagen in Denver and went to a private dealer with all salvage from scratch cars. My friend then recommended Mcdonald VW, where he has purchased a car in the past. Brandon came up to us right off the bat, and long story short, made my first car buying experience painless. Even my friend said it was the easiest, quickest, most straight forward deal he has ever been a part of. From what i hear, Mcdonald all in all is very straight forward and simple, yet this was the best. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a Volkswagen.

I worked with Brandon on getting a new car. He was friendly, professional, and most importantly listened to what I was looking for. Brandon helped me find a car that fit my needs very quickly. He understood the competitive landscape and put together a comprehensive and competitive deal for me. He explained every step of the process very well and made sure I didn't have any unanswered questions. The whole experience was perfect. I would highly recommend McDonald VW and Brandon to anyone.

unprofessional from mr. Cox to argue with me and use "!!!!!" in his wording to my request if the car is silver as noted in the photos or dark dray as stated in the description. He says : "it's gray!!!!!" after many hours another sales person helped me there and sent me photos with the SILVER color car. Thanks much! no thank you!

If you are merely thinking of buying a new vehicle, see Brandon Gamel at McDonald first. You won't need to look further. They made the buying experience as comfortable as I have ever experienced at a car dealership. Their finance department is also first rate. All things considered, McDonald Volkswagen is top shelf.

For starters I would like to say that I was in the market for a new car and the 2015 VW Jetta SE was on my short list. I really was hoping to buy from a local dealer in Casper, WY, but their selection was very sparse and they seemed very inflexible on price. In any event I traveled almost 300 miles to Littleton, CO for one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. It started with one of their internet salesmen, Frank, answering my emails in a timely manner, but at the same time not bombarding me with too much information. He quoted me a great price ($1500 less then the Casper dealer wanted, even after McDonald's higher DOC fee) based off the fact it was going to be a cash transaction, rather one involving a loan or lease through VW (some VW rebates may apply to the latter two). While at the dealership everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This started with them offing us something, as simple, as a bottle of cold water. In addition Frank did what he needed to do get me into a very nice Jetta, while not pushing me into something I could not afford or did not want at any price (zero dollars). He did a great job at answering my questions, even if it meant doing some research to provide me with the correct answer. Because of this I ended buying 10k/20k/30k service agreement that I can use at VW dealer including the one back home, but may just stop at McDonald for service when I am in Denver. As for other staff members including Josh the finance guy they did a great job offering additional products and services without being pushy after I nicely explained that the highly discounted extended warranty was not in my budget. Only complaint I might have, would be with the full website (not mobil), as sometimes loads slowly or incorrectly. I found their mobil website pulled up on my iPhone or the VW website to be a better choice for browsing their inventory. Other than that I just really can not say enough good things about my experience with McDonald VW and very highly recommend them for anyone in the market for a new VW. I also will consider them in future when I am looking to purchase my next new vehicle.

Let me start by saying when I first bought my 2012 Passat back in November I probably would have rated this dealership 3/5 stars. I have a family member who works at Ralph Schomp, so I have bought nothing but Hondas/Minis up to this point and experienced stellar customer support at Schomp's. So perhaps I'm spoiled. I've now experienced the infamous car-sleaze-dealership. Firstly, I was shocked at how quickly we were dropped from one salesman (who was our best friend, until discovering my budget wouldn't allow for a new car) to another. We worked with Scott Goodman. I have no major complaints with him; not overly impressed with his confidence or knowledge. But I was pretty impartial; he was nice enough. May I add that my used car did NOT come with floor mats? Apparently this is a standard practice. Seems ludicrous to me. We were told all certified used cars come with two keys; Scott told us they "could not find" the second key to my car. Um.. ok. Seemed highly unprofessional to me, but they assured me we'd get a second. So, I called about the key about 3 weeks after I bought the car, played phone tag, was told by Jason Sharp(e) that I'd have to make an appointment to come in with the car and key, as I understood - to get a new one made. Well, we live in Castle Rock, we had just bought a new house, I had just started a new job... basically life happened and I never got around to making an appointment. Not a huge deal in my mind, I figured when it was due for its first oil change I'd have them scan it or whatever they had to do, and get another one ordered. I did not think there was a sense of urgency to get this done. So I scheduled an appointment, spoke to a service dept. guy who said we should be able to get the key. I work full time in CO Springs, so my husband took my car in and explained the "key situation". He was put through the ringer by various people who finally got him into contact with Jason, the Used Car Sales Manager, I believe. Jason preceded to argue with my husband, telling him they called me, told me they had the key... 5 months ago and that we were basically SOL because they "only hold onto parts for 45 days." Now. I realize this was MY mistake for waiting, however, I did not know there was a deadline, nor was it communicated to me that there was a physical key I had to pick up. I simply thought I had to make an appointment and bring in my key.Long story short, miscommunications happen. It's very possible I missed a voicemail, I'm human, and very busy. But the extent that Jason continued to argue with my husband about the situation was appalling. Over a KEY. Last time I checked, even if you disagree with a customer, you don't argue with them, repeating over and over again "it was over 5 months ago..." "Castle Rock is only 20 minutes away"... when my husband simply tried to explain why we hadn't followed up with the dealership. My husband ended up walking out of the dealership, after Jason refused to offer any solution. I called Jason myself and let me say; I am a patient, intelligent person -- I have never had anyone treat me in such a condescending manner or behave in such an argumentative way. To a CUSTOMER. Over a KEY. I was fed lines over and over again about how detailed their call logs are, how we signed a document upon purchase stating that parts ordered are only kept for 45 days (and that apparently my key was probably sent back to Germany). This man was INFURIATING to speak to. He raised his voice, speaking over me, not letting me communicate my frustrations. He was incredibly rude and again, I cannot stress how argumentative he was. He accused my husband of demanding a key, offered no solution whatsoever other than being belligerent and belittling to us both. For me this boiled down to a larger matter; I don't care who was wrong or right about an insignificant key. I was simply appalled at the way this man treated us and spoke to us. I would think trying to make the situation right and keep a customer would trump arguing and proving a point to a customer, but that's not the way this dealership operates. If you're expecting respect or common customer courtesy, look elsewhere.

We made an appointment for our second visit with the intention of buying a new VW and walked out one hour later frustrated that they could not find the car we wanted. Went to Tynans and in less than 30 minutes they had our car located and we purchased it a few days later.

I started my quest for a vw, calling from California to Colorado. Living in Kansas, I was willing to look arouund for the best Deal available. I endened up talking with Tim Green at McDoanld VW, in Littleton. What a great guy. From the get go, he was willing to match any deal I found ANYWHERE. Not only that, I ended up talking to him many many times, and he was always as kind as the first time we spoke. I ended up driving to Denver on 12-31-12 to pick up my new Passat, and arrived, due to some bad wether, at 9:30pm on new years eve, one and a half hours after the dealership closes. Tim arranged for me to work with Gabrial, (not their finance guy ) but a really great associate that was willing to stay after hours and do the paperwork. He still took the time to go over with me and my family the feature on my new Passat. Listen, I dont write many reviews, but this was absolutely a great dealership to wor. I even called a few weeks after my purchase with a question about allignment, and Tim told me to take my Passat to the local dealership, and if there was any cost, to send then the bill and he would cover it. On a five star rating scale I give Tim, Gabrial and this Dealership a six or seven. Tim couldn't have done anything else to make my experience any better. Thanks Tim.

4 inch layer of dirt covering radiator lines in engine compartment, missing head restraints on middle row and a $1000 oil leak on a2009 used car. They'll only provide restraints if I buy. Had to negotiate for a clean car and that's only after I told them I would take care of the oil leak. I walked, very unresonable dealership. Wish you luck with your experience.

Buyer's remorse, yes, but it has nothing to do with the car. I wish I hadn't shopped at McDonald VW, because its been absolute hell ever since.I have had the worst customer service experience in my life working with this dealership. Errors on my paperwork, which they knowingly made, have left me without a title. 3 months later, an hour wasted at the DMV, and countless unanswered phone calls to the sales manager, now my temp tags are expired and I can't legally drive my car. I feel like I'm just constantly being pushed aside and neglected. Months of phone calls later and the manager still doesn't know who I am.If I spend $25k at your place of business, I want to be treated like not only a valued customer, but a human being. Is that asking too much?

'twas time to give someone else an opportunity to enjoy the Cadillac, so we were looking. My sister bought a Passat TDI and recommended it ; I had been thinking Hyundai Genesis...I don't buy new cars for several reasons: depreciation, of course; the constant having-your-teeth-drilled contacts and 'friendly follow- ups' from sales people; the absolute certainty that you have been 'sold' when you take one home....Didn't happen that way. Wife went to check out the car, got me over to drive it. The sales people were professional, not over- reaching, and accommodated my drop- ins approach [I've got 20 minutes right now, guys]. Mr. Tynan did follow up, with information, not pitch. Called to let us know the Dealership had lowered their 'plussage' over invoice. Which model did you want? OK, let's show you that one -- not an upsell.Bought the car. These people believe in their product, and this is NOT a 'you-have-to-be-a-professional-negotiator- to- get - the-deal place [although I am a professional negotiator]. They made a fair offer on the trade-in first time; as good as you'll get on this car right now for price -- we're all done, let's go do paperwork.I would recommend you research the warranty, ding monkey, and permashield products first -- they have information available, but a little preparation will help you when you're doing the papers.

I have purchased 5 vehicles from McDonald Volkswagen...there are not enough ways to say good things about the sales and service experiences I have had. I went in to work out some personal financial issues vis-a-vis buying out my 2009 Rabbit lease. Frank was more than happy to help with that, but found a way to make it possible for me to lease a new Golf at exactly the payment I was comfortable with. He took what had started out as a really tough three-day period with my employer and his financial situation, and turned it into a real plus for me! I didn't go in there to buy a new car, but it was a better option for me and my situation, and the staff made it absolutely stress-free and painless. Every time I sit down at McDonald, I think to myself, "I will never buy a car from anyone else," and I must mean it...because there I was again today. Service...I will tell you that service has always treated me like royalty...and I'm driving probably the lowest end car on their lot. There isn't enough they can do to make you comfortable and make things go smoothly. I had a similar experience with McDonald Collision during a recent fender bender. The culture is one of "just good people." Buy from them...you'll be happy...and THEY TRULY DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

I cannot even explain how happy I am with McDonald VW!!!A little background first...I had a Mazda CX-9 that I just purchased 8 months ago. After a few months, I realized it was not the car for me whatsoever. I was not an SUV girl, I am a fast, zippy car kind of girl. I have always loved Jettas, so I decided to do a little reseach and contact a few dealers on some Jettas. I emailed McDonald, Emich, and Larry Miller. Emich seemed to have a good deal, so I went there on my day off. (Mind you, I live in Avon, and Denver is over 100 miles away.) I test drove a 2008 and a 2012. I was at Emich for 6 hours, and ended up not getting what I wanted. They wanted a very high down payment for the 2008, and the lease for the 2012 was just way too high.Larry Miller...they were SO rude that I refuse to give them business. They would not work with me at all! They even wanted more than $3,000 less that what my car was worth.McDonald was phenominal. I was originally working with Scott Goodman and we ran my credit over the phone and he gave me pricing options for the Jetta SE w/ conv (including the sunroof, bluetooth, etc!). Emich wouldn't even offer me this car! Mcdonald offered me a phenominal price on a 2012 lease with a great down payment and price for my mazda. So I made an appointment to go to the dealership. Scott had something come up, so he called me saying he had to leave work, but was leaving me in the hands of Frank Bock. When we got to the dealership, Frank was there waiting for me with a big smile. He knew the conversations that I had with Scott, so he was prepared with the right prices and everything. He appraised my car at a great price so without any haggling or anything, we wrote up the contract! We met with the manager (I do not remember his name), and he was so friendly, and you feel like you are in good hands. Greg Raymond in financing was so friendly and so great to work with! He was not pushy on the extras we could buy, and I was very happy with that. The entire car buying experience was incredible! The entire process took only 2 hours! I have never had such a speedy transaction that went so well! I am SO happy working with this car dealership. I usually find dealerships very untrustworthy, greedy, and scammers, as does everyone. But McDonald VW knows what they are doing, they are VERY trustworthy, and they are happy to be there working with you! They really work with you to get to the exact price point you want. (It was SO much less than what Emich had offered, and Emich only offered me the model lower than the one I got at McD's.) My husband and I left the dealership both saying, "Wow! What a gret dealership!" We will recommend McDonald to everyone we know! Thank you Mcdonald VW!! Thank you for everything!Btw, my Jetta Se...UH-MA-ZING!!!
