Great overall experience. The dealership/showroom was very comfortable and sleek. I wasn't getting a Mercedes from this dealership but I was still treated like a valued customer. I live in New Jersey, about 100 miles away from this dealership and I have heard of their prices and the overall buying experience at this dealership from my friends. So I have decided to give them a call and see for myself. I spoke to the sales consultant Albert Aliyev and let me tell you, within 10 minutes the deal was done. Right over the phone, no none sense, straight to the bottom line. The finance person Jacinth Samuels Fedexed the paperwork to my house so my wife could sign and the next day, Albert picked me up from the train station and I picked my beautiful E350. My trip (bus, train) from New Jersey took me three and half hours and it was absolutely worth it. I have a number of Mercedes dealerships in New Jersey, one is two miles away, but none of them could come even close to the price that I got from Mercedes Benz of Fairfield. I have literally saved thousands of dollars. Albert and Jacinth delivered on what was promised. I have bought and leased many many cars and this is the best experience to date. Once this lease will be coming to an end, I am definitely coming back.

had a car towed in on tues for a no start, never got a call from anybody in the service dept to say my car was there.on wed I called to see what was going on and was left on hold twice for 8 minutes a a time with no one coming back to the phone.Finally I asked to speak to the service manger who finally picked up and told me he would check on the status and get back to me! guess what no call back from anyone again.Thursday I called to see what was going on and got a service advisor on the phone who told me the car was not brought into the shop yet but he would let me know when it was diagnosed . Guess what no call again and here it is on Friday and I just called and was left on hold for 8 minutes again to get told that the service writer was not at his desk.I think this is not very good customer service being I am in the auto business myself and would never let this happen at our dealership, I guess they don't need my business so I think I will never go there again.

I leased a new E350 from them. At the same time I was returning previous lease. At that time I was told that the car I was returning didn't have any damages. I was given a tol of paperwork to sign, as well as a computer pad. I about a week I received a bill for damages of almost $3000. When I called MBFS and Mercedes Benz of Fairfield, I was told that I signed for the damages. Note, I drove there from NYC, more than 70 miles. How could I do this with $3000 damages to wheels.

Their customer service is the worst, the managers need more training, they lie to their customers...my car is under warranty and I have been having issues with the wiper..the wiper on the rt is very very slow more than the normal. also, the vehicle was in an accident previously however, Mercedes never mentioned it to me instead said it did not show up on car fax therefore there's nothing they can do about it...the drive seat makes a very loud noise when it goes up and down so does the steering wheel...again, they have yet to replace it or fix it....I think they do not want to spend the money on replacing it...I recently purchase another vehicle from Lexus in stead of giving the business to Mercedes ...they will never get any more business from me nor my family/friends.. they are the worst car dealership to purchase a vehicle from...they do not stand by their words....and can careless about the customer once you purchase a vehicle from them...its all great before the purchase but after you walk away its over for them...well this is just the beginning, I am going to mention my experience on every social media site/twitter you name it ...news channel 12 and def speak to my attorney...something this small that can be worked out...however, Mercedes prefer to receive bad comments instead of happy endings.

Bought several used low mileage higher end autos here. However, trade in values were unusually low and in each case it took half a day to "do the paper work". Exasperating. Dealer is part of a large chain that reportedly secures high mileage vehicles at auction for resale at a MB dealer. Customer service superior at Greenwich MB - part of the same group where we have also bought vehicles. MB service in our experience is considerably more expensive than other luxury makes.

Got the call from dealer while traveling out of state. Fortunately, the car was still available when we returned. Sam picked us up from the Bridgeport ferry and took us to the dealership for the test ride and to see the car. Within days, we were driving back to NY in our new (used) car (again being picked up at the ferry). This was, by far, the best car purchasing experience we have ever had. I would recommend this dealership and our salesman, Sam Al-Hajjaj, to anyone interested in buying a car. Don assisted us with the paperwork and purchase of the extended warranty. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I felt the prices were reasonable 'and all and all, it was a very pleasant experience. Can't say that for all cars I've purchased! Just a word to CARS.Com, I put in an email alert for this vehicle and am happy to report that your processes worked perfectly for me in regard to this purchase as this is a very in demand car and doesn't sit in the lot for more than a few days. I made a "hard appointment" and confirmed with the dealership that the used car I was interested in was indeed still available. When I arrived at the dealership (75 miles from my home) I was informed that the car had been sold a few days earlier. The dealership made NO attempt to compensate me in any way. I asked that they at least fill my tank with gas and all I got was a "deer in the headlights" stare... I searched for a CLA250 around Washington DC for approximately 3 months with no luck. Some dealers were rude, others were ignorant. I happen to be in Connecticut and called Fairfield. I am surprised at the bad reviews here as my experience in purchasing a 2008 Nissan 350z was professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. I almost passed on initially calling them because of the other negative reviews I read here, but I am glad I decided to call and see how my initial contact with them went because it really worked out well and was a positive purchase experience. I called them on a Wed and spoke to John V. to see if they still had the car in stock, John confirmed it was still in their computer but took my number so that he could go eyeball the car and call me back to confirm. He called me back promptly and confirmed and I made an appointment for Fri to see the car. As he was off that day he made arrangements with his fellow coworker, Alex to assist me. As per my request, they also followed up with me on both Thursday and Friday morning to confirm the car was still available before I took the hike up there. Upon my arrival, their entire staff from the receptionist (whos name escapes me at the moment, but very nice), to the sales guy Alex, the sales manager Mike, and the document/close guy, Don were very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. The car was ready for the test drive within minutes of my arrival, the negotiation was fair and without pressure and the purchase process smoothly. If I ever wanted to purchase a Mercedes or another of their used inventory I would be totally comfortable doing so. As an added plus to the experience they were totally reasonable in negotiating a price that made my smile that much bigger as I drove my beautiful Z home!

I went to this dealership on a one way ticket the other day from over 4 hours away with a check in hand to purchase a 2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali vehicle. I had multiple issues dealing with them prior to going and was not sent all the proper angle pictures of the "problems". I was then sent the Purchase order from the finance manager that all seemed normal and legit but then I received the same Purchase order but this time it was in an email from my salesman (mentioned above) hand written and saying that I would get no warranty at all and the car was going to be sold to me "AS IS" Lets keep in mind that this is a 2011 vehicle with only 20K miles on it. After traveling this long distance and seeing the vehicle I would say that anyone with any common sense would clearly see that this vehicle has SEVERE WATER DAMAGE. I have several pictures showing how bad it is. I can't believe that this vehicle could possibly pass an inspection with how badly it is rusted out on the under carriage and on every possible component under the hood. The picture that is shown on the website for this picture is very deceiving. BEWARE! I feel like I was taken advantage of and duped into trying to sell me this car. Very unethical! The corrosion on this vehicle runs on the undercarriage and chassis from the very front to the very back of the vehicle. The rust is also on every possible metal component under the hood all the way up to the top. There is also rust under the steering column inside the vehicle. In addition the balancing weights that are on the rims of the tires .... also rusted out. The chrome from the rims is all peeling off. Worse than that is that the passenger side rear wheel shows a good normal tire with a non rusted weight on their website and that particular time when I was at the dealership has NO WEIGHT on it at all proving that that unless they have some crazy story for this the picture they have posted on the internet is not the vehicle I looked at on their lot! A Dealership that operates like this should be shut down! This is not an inexpensive vehicle and I don't know how these people can sleep at night engaging in these types of business practices! Thank god I caught on to this and didn't give them my hard earned money!

The day that I walked into the dealership I did'nt expect to actually end up buying a car that day. Jacinth was great and her personality made my first time buying a car experience a memorable one. I went in to purchase a car that I saw online and at first the dealership was very helpful. I purchased the car just before Christmas 2011. 2 days after I took the car home I had problems with the automatic transmission. The car came with a 90 day warranty so I figured I would be OK. It took the dealership several visits to even figure out what the problem could be. What shocked me was they use an outside mechanic for their repairs. Even though they have a full staff of certified mechanics, my car was sent to a personal friend of the managers transmission shop. Let's just say that after 4 months and several used loaner cars later the problem was still not fixed. I took the car to Audi next door and they diagnosed what was wrong. When I presented Mike Pragano with what Audi found, he told me that were simply trying to sell an expensive part and that wasnt the issue. I eventually gave up (which I regret) and the car still has the same transmission issues. I wish the dealer would contact me back and fix this issue. I spent a lot of money with them and feel like I totally got shafted.

I had purchased a car from them and when I brought it home I noticed the the wheel was damaged. I brought it back the next day and they said that it wasn't covered, so me myself went and bought a new wheel cause it was dangerous to drive like that. Soon after I realized that my 2 front shock absorbers were leaking once again I called them and they said they would get back to me. He did not get back to me so I went in to see him and he said that DMV didn't get back to him and that he was not the owner of the dealership. Also the passenger electric window makes noises when it is going down. They have refused to make any repairs to my car.

Our experience with MB of Fairfield gets better each time we return. As a matter of fact, this time we ended up with two cars instead of one! We turned in our C-300 lease (our 2nd one) for a new C-350 lease. While there, we also leased a smart convertible as a fun car for the two of us. The sales staff, specifically Dimitri and Eric (Sales managers) always seem to make the numbers work for us to keep coming back to MB of Fairfield. The service seems great over the past few years, although there has been little need other than normal maintainence. I highly recommend them.

We met Gonzalo Ugarte through a friend and when we mentioned we were looking to get a new Mercedes (we already had a ML320 which we had purchased in California in 2001) he suggested we get in touch with John Arizarani. So we did and he was really knowledgeable about the GL350 Bluetec and could explain absolutely everything into detail about the car. We were very impressed (we had been over to take a look at a Lexus and the salesman there knew nothing about the Lexus car we were looking at and he would constantly read from the brochure and couldn't answer half the questions we asked) so with John we immediately knew that we were in good hands and we liked everything we were hearing about the car. We quickly decided this was the car we wanted now we wanted to get a deal (of course, right?) John worked very had to find us the exact car we wanted in the right color and he discussed the price with my husband and they came to an agreement. The day we arrived the car was beautifully displayed right there in the sales center. My husband sat down with Marion O'Halloran and she too was very nice and made everything seem effortless for us. We walked out very happy new Mercedes car owners. After a few months of having the car we had a light pop up on the dashboard and I called in about it and John Urresta asked me to bring it in to find out what was going on. While in the waiting room whom should I see walking up to me but Gonzalo Ugarte. Very friendly, he asked if I was enjoying my new car and told me he would be the mechanic for my car and this made me feel like I was family. The problem was repaired and I have not had any more problems since. My husband and I are extremely happy with the service at Mercedes Benz of Fairfield. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this car. I had narrowed it down to the BMW 7 series, the Porsche Panamara and the Lexus 400 series. I was determined to take the Lexus since it was very nice and much less expensive. Due to a big price difference, I had actually told Jacinth that I was moving on to another car and I thanked her for trying to keep me as a Mercedes customer. Jacinth, however, would not give up and was relentless in finding a way for me to continue as a Mercedes customer. She was able to show me the higher value that the S550 had over the other cars and eventually I did decide to stay with the Mercedes. This was by far is one of the best, nay, the best MB experience that Ive had since Ive become a loyal MB owner in early 2000's. And I say this with outmost respect for all of the dealers and the wonderful work that they do. I've used many MB dealers and Fairfield MB services department as well as the sales department have been superb and have gone way beyond what I would ever expect. Special thanks to the great General Manager - Eric Fertis, who unequivocally had come to my rescue when I had to replace 3 tires due to road hazards and insurance was extremely hesitant to cover the replacement cost and labor. Also I am ashamed to tell my friends how much I am paying for my fully loaded CLK 550 lease that Eric had extended to me while I was shopping for new lease 2 years ago. No dealer and I mean that came even close to the price that I am paying. Believe me when I say that I had called about 80% of dealers countrywide to see if they could beat this price. All the dealers I spoke with were interested in this sale as the car was still unallocated and seating at Port, but after I told them what the price was they all anonymously told me that I should run to the deal and take the car as they would not believe that this was a real offer. In fact many had asked for me to provide them with proof and one even made a bet with me that if I were to prove to them that I am paying this price they would tint my windows for free. Guess what! Now I have a white CLK 550 with professionally tinted windows and it looks great!!! So in conclusion, not only did the sales department go beyond what I expected so did/does the Service department. Oh and one other thing, I love their courtesy cars and how available they are. Just to put my comments in perspective here is a list of all the MB dealers that Ive dealt with in the past 10 years and Fairfield by far is the best. I had the privilige of working with Moya Singh. I was recommended by another client some time ago. Moya Singh lives up to her reputation and does not dissapoint. She is a breath of fresh air. When you walk into the service department her clients all seem to share the same sentiment. You know the person you are dealing with by the mood of her other clients. I have bumped into many in the waiting area and at the cashier. She keeps them happy despite the fact that most of them might be there for a problem, or at the very least have been inconvenienced even for routine service. It's not all about the car, she actually asks about my family, remembers their names, or small details like games we were rushing off to when we saw her last and will ask about them. She cares. Bottom line; no one likes to bring their car in for service. Moya gets that. She is always upbeat, smiling, conscientious, and courteous. Aside from her interpersonal skills, she is extremely knowledgable. She knows what your car needs, and can explain it so those of us who don't work in the car business can understand. She manages deadlines and is always readily available by phone, email and text, even on the weekends or after hours she responds when I reach out. Recently after leaving your facility, we had a small problem created by the dealership. Moya didn't dodge my phone calls, or make excuses. Instead she went out of her way to wrap her arms around the situation and make sure it was rectified. She took ownership of this issue. Sometimes in business, things go wrong. What you decide to do after a problem is brought to your attention makes all of the difference in the experience for your customer. I have never had a problem in the past, and my experiences were always pleasant. When I picked up the phone to call and say I had a problem I didn't know what to expect. Would she be as responsive or would she suddenly become unavailable? Of course, I should have never doubted it, she was right there, to make it better. Moya Singh exemplifies excellence, dedication, knowledge, and above all INTEGRITY. This is something all businesses should look for when hiring employees. I never fill out surveys, or write reviews, but will do this for her and will recommend business associates, friends and family to Moya Singh at Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield.

George was recommended by a friend and was great during this whole car buying process. When we initially went in he spent a lot of time showing us the used 2009 ML350 that we were looking at (this was our first luxury car purchase and first car purchase in 8 years). He was patient and never seemed like he was in a rush or had other clients to get to. When it came time to negotiate he really tried to work for us. We had to go back and forth over the course of a few days but in the end we were able to get a really great deal from George and Mike. When the time came to pick up the car George stayed past closing hours for me (since I had a long drive to get there) and then spent almost 45 minutes going over all of the features in the VERY technical ML. He seemed to know every little detail of the in-dash central computing system...it will probably take me years to learn it. The financing part of the transaction also went very smoothly. I was in and out in about 10 minutes signing the paperwork. The financing manager there was extremely organized and truly streamlined the process. If you want to purchase a car from a very honest, smart and hardworking dealer I truly recommend George Boccuzzi and Mercedes of Fairfield.

John Urresta was my service advisor during my visit to your dealership last week. John was courteous, professional and thorough during his inspection of my Mercedes GLK 350. He took the time, even though it was very busy when I arrived, to listen to me and address the issues I had with my SUV. John told me what the timetable for the repairs would be and he made sure the loaner car I requested was ready as well. We also discussed having the dealership replace the rear window on my SUV which had been badly scratched during the recent hurricane. Unfortunately my insurance company and the dealership were unable to agree on pricing. The only negative during my entire experience with the dealership was when John's assistant, Moya, tried to insert herself into the mix. She was uninformed, unprofessional and her tone and tenor in her voicemail and emails left much to be desired. My wife and I have owned several new and vintage Mercedes over the years. The one constant has been John Antalik. No matter what the problem is he makes sure it's taken care of promptly. From getting a new rag top for our "89 560 SL, to driving over to our home in Westport, Ct. and taking back both of our cars just before Hurricane Irene hit the cost of Ct. Our property was chewed up pretty badly, but where the '89 560 SL was parked, it was totally devastated. The car would have been totaled. John's staff is also extremely helpful. UPDATE:I was contacted by their Dealer Manager who explained how they did everything by the book and that $257 was the correct amount. He offered to credit me back $50 just to keep me as a satisfied customer. So, I think that was pretty decent of them.Jeff Sears-----------------------I thought I had a problem with my ML320 key fob (very common problem with MB) as my car would not start. It turned out to be a mere $29 Relay. But when the bill came, they charged me a whopping $257.65!! The service manager I dealt with, Mary Rodriques was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I drive from Long Island for this great dealer. This is my second car from them. When they quote a price over the phone the price is what you get, and they beat my local dealers. My overall experience is always very positive. They are very accomodating and their attention to customer service is first rate.

I traveled to the Fairfield dealership from New Jersey and it was absolutely worth the time and distance. Albert, who I worked with showed thorough knowledge of not only the cars themselves but also different elements of packages could be combined to make a personalized car for me. I was also able to stay within my budget and get a car with all the elements I wanted. Albert went out of his way to make sure any questions I had were thoroughly answered to the best of his ability. If he did not know the full answer to a question, Albert made sure to find out a surplus of information until I was satisfied. So far it was my best experience getting a new car out of 12 I have previously had. Way to go Albert!!

I saw car for sale online, called to talk to a rude sales person-Dave Columb. Then tells me that many people want car. Tells me car is good, they inspect vehicle and do maintence before you buy. Got home oil leaking from motor. Took to dealer, who did replace timing belt, seals and water pump. Dealer showed me oil filter which is filled with sludge, oil never changed. $1500 into car 1 week after buying. Never again buy a car POS dealer. They are even owned by Penske, which should mean something. Don't ever buy any car from dealer. Plenty of places with nice people and more respectible in CT.

Bottom line is that I purchased a CPO MB that had so many issues that the evidence is overwhelming that the car was never inspected. I believe this is FRAUD and I am consulting my attorney. I bought this car 'on line' and relied upon the information provided to me from the sales staff who clearly mis-represented the conditions of this vehicle. This store may be a great place to buy a new MB but if you trust their used car staff you better take the car someplace else for a professional inspection.
