I was a repeat customer, and chose to do business with Kevin again. Before heading the to the dealership I did my research and I knew what my vehicle was worth, along with what their vehicle should sell for. This made my it easy when it came time to make an offer to Gary, the General Sales Manager. As expected, the dealership was clean, the staff was freindly, and the vehicle was clean and ready to go when I showed up for the test drive. Kevin is a vey outgoing person and will work hard to make sure you have all your questions answered, and that you get the service you need. We didn't haggle over the price because my research had already identified a fair selling price for their vehicle, and a resonable trade-in price for my vehicle. Before taking delivery of my vehicle I told Kevin that I will be back one day to buy a new truck for my wife and I. Though, that will be when we both have 300,000 miles on these vehicles first, or we win the lottery. My recommendation: Do your research first. Know what you want. Thoroughly test the vehicle you're looking to buy. Ask the important questions. Know what the loan value for the selling vehicle is supposed to be, and don't go over that amount. Know what your vehicle is worth, and don't settle for less than that. Go with your gut. If the salesman/staff are rude, pushy or dodge your questions, then move on. You can find dealers who will "earn" your business.

As a woman I'm always nervous about the car buying experience. Kevin M. made it a pleasant experience and found me the car I wanted. They didn't have the one I wanted on the lot and he didn't try to steer me to buy something they had. My parents have been customers of Mike Toler's CDJR and though I've seen their customer service from their point of view, I have never purchased a vehicle from them before. My old vehicle was nearly 40,000 miles and I was in the market for a new truck. After driving what would become my Big Horn Ram, I fell in love with the feel, look, design and safety features of the truck. When it came for the sale itself, the entire staff including Kevin C treated me professionally, kindly, and with respect. I have bought vehicles in the past where I felt pressured into the deal, not with Mike Toler's staff. This was the first deal where I did not feel pressured at all to buy a vehicle from a dealership. They worked with me to get the payment just right and I am proud to have done this transaction. Furthermore, they have kept in contact with me to make sure that I am satisfied with my purchase and I couldn't be happier. I was just out looking for a new car, with no intention of buying it on Saturday. We had gone to a few other dealerships and prodded around like cattle. I just happened to go to Mike Toler, just to see two of the cars on my list and to narrow down my decision. Kevin McCarthy happened to be the lucky salesperson to get me... This is the first car I've bought on my own, and I was a little apprehensive of making the wrong choice. Kevin was so patient, he actually LISTENED to what I was saying, as far as what I wanted and didn't want in a car/truck/van. After roughly 15 minutes of listening to me, he showed me the two vehicles I came in to see. I still wasn't sure, until he showed me something between the two. I was looking at a Durango or a grand caravan, and he said," have you seen the journey"? I actually hadn't. Didn't even think of it, it wasn't on the "list". He took me over to it, took me for a test drive, listened to my questions, and I had made my decision. Kevin isn't a salesman, he is a CUSTOMER SERVICE GURU. I bought the car and my fiance is going to do his business there, along with our daughter. What a wonderful experience, and we will continue to use Mike Toler. You can get a dodge, Chrysler or Jeep anywhere, but you cant get the customer attention and satisfaction like you do with Kevin and The Mike Toler Team!!!!

We drove our first Durango for 10 years at this location and loved it....just bought a new 2015 Durango from Kevin McCarthy at Mike Toler Dodge. Because we had bought vehicles with Kevin before, we e-mailed him late one evening and he immediately responded asking a few questions on our must-haves. This is the first car purchase I've done alone and, whiie, I was anticipating it to be in a couple of months, a deal surfaced that was better than the deal on the car I had my eye on a couple of months ago. I was notified by Kevin, whom I've known as the salesman I with whom I wanted to work. He gave me a heads up on the deal and by evening, I was in my new ride. I was a first-time car buyer unsure of where to go and just a little hesitant about the overall buying process that is usually drawn out, stressful, with lots of back-and-forth wheeling and dealing. I had seen a great deal on the Cars.com site listed through the Mike Toler dealership, and coincidentally a coworker had already highly recommended Kevin McCarthy from the same dealer, so I decided to bite the bullet and give Kevin a call. I am SO glad I did! Before even meeting Kevin in person, he had already emailed me confirming our appointment and made sure to attach a video he personally made to not only introduce himself, but to basically gave me a virtual tour of the car I was interested in purchasing. I was pretty impressed and I hadn't even walked through the doors of the dealership yet. Kevin and the entire Mike Toler team were amazing. Super friendly and outgoing. Kevin was always upfront, honest, and definitely a no-pressure laid-back kind of guy. He made it so easy and really made me feel comfortable going through this whole process by myself. I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me on anything but more so trying to make a good fit for what I needed in a vehicle. Once I decided to purchase the car, Kevin really talked me through every aspect of the deal and paperwork, even going as far as to call my insurance company for me so I didn't have to. Once my car was ready to go, Kevin went through the new car with me to explain what it was capable of, where everything was, and how to set things up like Bluetooth, etc. I know that was a novel but I just had to explain how awesome these guys are and how far they are willing to go for you. HUGE thanks to Kevin, Mike Toler himself, and the Mike Toler team for going above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about them, I definitely recommend these guys to anyone and everyone with a car need!

When in the market for a new vehicle you want to be treated like you are the only customer and not just another person buying a vehicle, this is how Kevin McCarthy and the staff at Mike Toler Chrysler, Ram, Dodge, and Jeep treat you like you are the only one there. In past experiences some dealerships have the "take what we have on the lot or don't buy anything" approach and they want to rush you. Kevin at no time did this he asked what I wanted in a truck and what I wanted to pay and made it happen. He found the truck I wanted and had it delivered to the dealership that evening and bent over backwards to ensure it was the right one. Normally, I am not impressed with car dealerships. I find them pushy and only interested in the sale. They seem stiff and not really interested in me, the customer. Mike Toler was very different. I was very impressed with Rossie Manning, who was relaxed and very willing to discuss anything from sports to food to my personal auto needs. Elana also gave my wife a great map tour of Beaufort and the nearby islands. Others seemed to also enjoy talking and all seemed to have a great sense of humor. It made the car buying process a pleasure instead of something to be endured. It was a very different experience from years of high pressure tactics and I greatly appreciated it. Our visit was simply to introduce my wife to the potential options available and become familiar with vehicles 'in person' to enhance our online/website viewing . . . The unexpected aspect of our day was meeting Kevin, as well as each individual we met that day, and the unconditional provision of information and assistance in enhancing our knowledge of differing levels of vehicles. Kevin McCarthy was my saleman, as I purchased my vehicle through the USAA car buying program. Kevin contacted me immediately, made a video specifically for me to introduce himself and show how this dealership is different than any other Jeep dealership. He listened to what I wanted/needed and didn't try to sell me something else. I met with him once and got a quote for a Jeep and my trade in and decided to wait. About two weeks later decided to trade in my car after all and I did not receive calls/texts/emails nagging me after I left the dealership. When I called him to move forward he picked up where we left off and got it done and the vehicle in my possession within 24 (a vehicle that wasn't in his inventory and needed a towing hitch installed). At the pump when I had to purchase my own first tank of gas, I found money paper clipped under the gas flap! I thought it was from my mother, but it was Kevin and he left a sticky note to wish me luck on my new job and add a little to the first tank! Kevin was worth the drive from Jacksonville to Morehead anyday! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, particularly a Jeep.

Great Car Buying Experience from Start to Finish! I was referred to Mike Toler Jeep by a co-worker upon hearing of my dissatisfaction with another local Jeep dealership. I was immediately contacted by the internet sales consultant, Mr. Kevin McCarthy. Kevin took the time to get to know my wife and I, understand what type of car we were interested in (needed) and equally important...our budget. Over the course of several days, he worked to find the perfect 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport for us. I spent less that 30-minutes at the dealership signing all the paperwork that night and picked up the Jeep the next morning. Kevin even worked with me to surprise my wife with her new Jeep. My 1997 Jeep Wrangler was the newest car I'd ever owned, and had nearly a quarter million miles on it. I'd owned it for eight years, and it had gotten to the point where I was working on it almost as much as I was driving it. Mike Toler CDJR was recommended to my by my bank/insurance company, and they were my first visit searching for a new Jeep. Kevin was a very friendly, approachable salesman who never once pressured me and let the decisions be mine at every step of the process. Because the 2014s available didn't have the options I liked, he helped me order my very first new car straight from the factory, exactly how I wanted it. I didn't even know that dealers could still do that. One month later, the Jeep arrived and I couldn't be happier. Throughout the process, Kevin was available for any questions on the phone or in person, and he and the staff understood that the entire experience was a big deal to me personally. I went in the first time in July feeling a little apprehensive and unprepared, but by the time it was all said & done I knew I'd really lucked out with a great dealership, a solid, experienced salesman, and people who simply have some integrity and want your trust - not just your business. I shopped at other dealerships, but none of them held up to my experience at Mike Toler for even the first ten minutes. They are there to help you find the right car for you (or not, if that's your decision) right now today - or a year from now, if that works better. No pressure, no worries, and not a bad thing to say about the whole experience. I did give only four stars on the facility because it is a bit small, but that will change soon - it also made no difference in the overall experience. I hope Mike himself reads this, because he and everyone else at his dealership needs to keep doing as well as they did with me. They don't want to just sell a car today, they want to earn a customer for the long term.

I was looking for a midsize suv for the wife. Met up with Rossie my favorite Mopar salesman. After looking at what was available, i decided on an 2013 Dodge Journey SXT. The color and options were not available on the lot. So Rossie and Sherrie took to task to find me what i was looking for. After just a little bit of time they found the exact color and options i wanted. The suv was picked up that night and delivered after a short time. I figuered it would be ready the next day for pickup. But Rossie and Sherrie went the extra mile to make sure the suv was cleaned, full of gas and ready to go that night. They even washed and dryed it themselves as the service dept. had gone home for the evening. The very next morning i was inspecting the vehicle in the sunlight, there was not one scratch,fingerprint or swirlmark on it that could accidently happen while sitting on the lot. They went above and beyond having this vehicle ready for delivery. Thankyou so much.

We did not expect to actually purchase a car when we arrived at the dealership. We had just found out we were expecting and were in search for a possible "mom car". We drove a few cars and Jason Krahn was very honest with us which ones would be a good fit. We talked car seats, strollers and added features which would make traveling with an infant much more convenient. After driving the Mazda CX-9, we fell in love and ended up purchasing it that day. They let us go home to eat lunch and think about whether or not we would be able to swing the payment and what our insurance would be. They gave us an unbelievable deal and my insurance actually went down from my previous car. They are a great group of people who are interested in making the customer happy. We definitely left happy! Excellant service! I visited all the jeep dealerships in eastern NC on the day i planned to buy. Mike Toler was the only one to have exactly what i wanted and were successful in making me a deal. If your in the Jacksonville area, don't go to the dealership there. Lots of crooked practices especially in the service department.

We were shopping for a truck and noticed all that were available on the lot. We were looking for a particular color with specific features, and Kevin found one in less than five minutes. Even though it was located in Raleigh, the truck of our choice was here at the dealership the next day. We were very pleased in the professionalism and attitude of everyone in the office. Due to work schedules, we were on the lot late in the evening, but did not feel rushed or pushed out due to the closing hours listed on the door. Our questions were answered in an efficient manner, and we even came back after purchasing the truck to ask more questions and, again, we were treated very well. This is an office with a very friendly, family atmosphere. We talked with the folks in the service department, were greeted by the owner, as well as others in the showroom who were very friendly and amiable. We would definitely recommend Mike Toler to anyone who is thinking about buying a vehicle.

We were already familiar with Mike Toler CDJ because that is where we have the maintenance performed on our Dodge Ram - the service department is fantastic. We stopped by the dealership late on a Saturday afternoon as a Jeep Wrangler had caught the wife's eye. Upon parking (around 4:30PM) we were met by Rossi who showed us the Jeep. We were not really intending on buying anything however by 8:00PM we were driving away. This was all made possible by our salesman Rossi, the Sales Manager Sherri and Alaina in Finance. The group was fun and more importantly, straight-up in the negotiation. It was really a nice experience and one not expected from a car dealership. Between the two of us, my husband and I have have purchased nearly a dozen cars (6 within our 20 yr marriage) in 4 different states. Our latest purchase brought us to Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Morhead CIty as one of the local dealers working with USAA's buying program. The experience we had from the moment we walked in the door was wonderful! Kevin McCarthy is a fun, upbeat, honest man. When we asked questions, we got honest answers. He was unlike any other car salesman we have ever met. He didn't seem to look at his job as getting a sale. He worked it from a customer service angle--getting us in the car we wanted at price we felt was fair to us both. The Dodge Dart we purchased didn't come with cruise control, but Kevin arranged to get it installed for us at an off-site shop the dealership had worked with before. The install was painless for us and Kevin handled all of it. We've only had one service appointment for an oil change since purchasing the car. It went smoothly and was done professionally and with the same great customer service we've come to expect from Mike Toler's. In all the time we have been purchasing cars, this is the first time we've found a dealership we not only would recommend to our friends, but we will also be coming back to Mike Toler's the next time we need to purchase a vehicle. It was a great experience. The only reason we gave the facilities a low grade is because of how small it is. It just feels cramped. We understand the dealership is in the process of moving to a larger area so this will no doubt be rectified very soon. Even as small as it is, it was still clean and orderly--just too small.

This was our family's first time buying a car together, but my second time personally. Before starting the process with this family/staff, I was extremely optimistic due to the horrible experience from my first car purchase. However, as soon as my wife and I made contact with the staff, Kevin, our sales associate and new friend, was supremely helpful and so very kind. It was one of the easiest processes I've ever been through. Kevin may have been our one sales associate but the entire staff helped us out whenever we needed it, and they still do if we just ask. We have had our Challenger repaired at Mike Toler (under warranty) even though we did not purchase the vehicle there. Due to the service we received there, we decided to start our latest car shopping at Toler's which led to our latest new vehicle purchase. The experience was good, you always think you might have been able to get a better deal, but all in all they ended up giving us what we were asking for our trade in and made a good effort with the purchase price. Rossie was a great salesman to deal with. He was easy to talk to and was pleasant to work with.

My husband and I had been casually looking for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, but weren't quite ready to make a purchase, as we had never owned or driven a jeep. The 2012 model showed up on the internet, and it was red like we wanted, so we had to go look at it Saturday! So many times buying a used vehicle you settle for the color it comes in, so this was a bonus to us! It was a rainy, nasty day but KC came out and we ended up test-driving it, loving it and moving forward on the deal. Since we wanted to trade my car in but were in our truck that day, we went home to get my car and do a little bit of quick research. They gave us a generous trade-in value, we made the deal and it was the most stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. We truly appreciate that KC told us upfront that they know customers don't want to "wheel and deal" and that's exactly how things went. We didn't even expect to drive it home that night, but it was such an easy transaction that we drove out of there just after they closed at 5 pm. We've had it 3 days now and absolutely love it. I had been working with these folks for quite some time now looking for a specific heavy duty truck with no real luck. The truck I thought I needed at the time simply was not available and to further my frustration, the truck I was driving was not even close to satisfying my needs or desires in a vehicle. (won't mention it was a GMC). In addition, I told the Sales representative not to sell my lady friend a jeep and he did it anyway! Thanks again, that was the best move she has ever made. My wife and I recently purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Mike Toler. At the outset, we wanted to stay local, and had narrowed our choices to just a few vehicles before we even visited a dealer. The Grand Cherokee was at the top of our list, and we hoped that we could work with a local dealer. From our first visit, we were treated very well indeed. Our salesman, KC, was thorough in his explanation of all of the features and new upgrades to the 2014 models. He was knowledgeable and forthright, and I did not feel that he was selling us a bill of goods. Over a period of a few weeks we test drove the Grand Cherokee three times. At no time were we pressured. When we decided to buy, the vehicle with the options that we wanted was not available at the dealer, nor was it available at any dealer in the region, so we elected to order the car from Jeep, optioned out the way we wanted it. We discussed what we were willing to pay, and received a very favorable price without having to haggle. I am in the habit when buying a new car of offering the dealer what I feel is very fair price for both parties. If I don't get my price, I walk. This deal was painless, and they accepted my offer without hesitation. It took about 6 weeks to get the car, and we were told that at the time we ordered it. Delivery went smoothly, and KC went over all of the pertinent points, making sure that we were satisfied with everything before we drove off. Everyone that we dealt with was pleasant, helpful, and gracious. During every visit, Mike Toler took the time to greet us, and assured us that we would receive outstanding and courteous service. We have had the car for about a week and couldn't be happier with the vehicle. Of course, time will tell if it turns out to be dependable and trouble free. We have received several e-mails and phone calls from the sales department as well as parts and service offering their assistance should we need it. In summary, We have been very pleased with the sales process, delivery, personnel, and the vehicle itself. I am hopeful that our satisfaction will continue throughout the ownership of the car.

While waiting for service on a used vehicle purchased from Mike Toler CDJR I walked out to look at other cars. A salesman joined me to explain features and answer questions. I pursued a vehicle enough so we went to check pricing and any rebates. I visited three times before actually purchasing a new vehicle, but never did I feel pressured to sign to buy. It was a most pleasant experience and any reservations I had were dealt with without pressure. The salesman was very friendly and helpful and staff found a less expensive option to purchase titling in my home state, which had a higher factory rebate offer. While I did not go in to buy a vehicle, mine was a high mileage one so it was a decision in the near future to purchase a newer model. I have dealt with the dealership 2.5 years and found them to be excellent, so it was easy to choose them for another vehicle. I am completely satisfied with my decision to buy from Mike Toler CDJR and really enjoyed my salesman, Rossie Manning. I rate him at the top of my experiences when purchasing my many various vehicles.

By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. The dealership has just the right mix of small town personal attention with big city internet savvy. The salesman is helpful not high pressure and is thoroughly knowledgable about the product. We did lots of internet research on the kind of car we wanted, how much we could expect to pay and then researched the reputations of the dealerships that had what we wanted. Everything the salesman said matched our research and our experience at the dealership matched our research also. My husband and I were interested in a Dodge Journey. I went online on a Sunday and submitted to be contacted by a local Dodge dealer and Kevin McCarthy got ahold of me bright and early the next day and set up a time to meet and do a test drive. Kevin has been amazing to say the least. He has amazing customer service skills and always wants to make sure the customer is happy and wants to come back. Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM also does discounts with USAA to help save on interest rates and rebates for buying one of these vehicles, but of course it is not year round. It was my first time buying a car, unless you count the $1000 island beater I bought from a neighboring family, and I needed a price tag that wouldn't break me (I have two small children). I researched the dealers in my area and they all had awful reviews. That is when I found Mike Toler and Kevin McCarthy. I'm 23 and have practically no credit and I didn't have an address yet, having just moved. Kevin worked with me over the phone, sent me a video showing the options he had for the type of car I wanted. He moved heaven and earth getting me discounts and an amazing price. They even picked me up and brought me to the dealership when the papers were ready, test driving the car of course :). I signed the papers, had my insurance printed for me and left one experience richer. Even now, they're still willing to accept my questions with warmth and work for me. I don't think I could have gone to a better dealership. I am so blessed by Kevin McCarthy and the people at Mike Toler. After visting more than 30 dealerships and meeting salesmen/women of all sorts, I must say that your staff is by far, more professional, more friendly, and more willing to take the time to understand what my family really needed. We came to your dealership looking to "down size" from my Suburban, which clearly isn't good on gas for someone who drives from New Bern to Jacksonville 4 to 5 days a week. Our major obstacle to getting out of the loan on the Suburban was the extensive amount of negative equity ($9,300 to be exact). This seemingly insurmountable issue kept many dealers from "wasting" any time on me and I felt as if I was being swept towards the door at the mere mention of my financial situation. However, when I first met Kevin, and after discussing my needs and my situation, Kevin didn't gasp and run away in fear. Instead, he listened to ALL of my needs and helped me look at several vehicles that might help me reach my goal. After some brief negotiating and some finanaical stretching on your end (with a little finanical giving on my end), I feel confident that we both got a little something out of the deal. You might have wanted to give me a little less for my truck, and I know I wanted more for my truck, but I feel we found a middle ground that helped us both. In the end, I bought a very solid running car that gets great gas mileage, and I discovered a salesman and dealership that I can trust when it comes to future vehicle purchases. Kevin McCarthy saw the stress in our eyes the moment we walked in.. But you could see him take a breath and head to us with the same sincerity a dog shows its owner after a long time away from home. He introduced himself and quickly found out we needed to get rid of our Mitsubishi Eclipse and find something bigger because my wife and I were expecting our first child. Kevin showed us a Jeep Compass that was perfect. To make a long story short, we left with that Jeep Compass, and it has been an integral part in our childs life as well as ours. In writing the book of our family, the Jeep would be a supporting character definitely, and well Kevin, he has become a part of the family too. He and everyone at Mike Toler have always gone above and beyone, from picking our car up at our job and taking it in for routine maintenance and subsequently returning it before we get off work, to helping my mother in-law with her Jeep while being states away from her home. Hmmmm where do we start...first and foremost I want to say thanks to Kevin for helping me find the exact vehicle I wanted. The white dodge charger was on the lot and kevin took the time to crack some jokes while showing us the cool features that came with the car. My husband Gerry and I went looking for a second car. We had stopped by most of the local car dealers in the area. Our last stop was Mike Toler Chrysler. There we were not treated like a sale, we were treated like a great friend! Alaina Gambardella was our sales person, she was excellent with showing us the different Dodge Darts. When we told her our budget she showed us the car that was closest. It was a little more than we thought we wanted to pay. Then she said don't sweat it, our finance lady will work the numbers. And Mrs Sherri did just that! She sat both of us down, she was frank and super nice. She got us to the payment we needed! Mrs Sherri treated us like family, giving us advice, showing us our options and keeping us within our budget. I didn't catch the other sales guys' names that were there but they were super friendly to Gerry and I as we waited. I would highly recommend stopping by here first! We absolutely love our Dodge Dart SXT!! We got all the bells and whistles in a great solid roomy car and stayed within budget!

KC was our salesman and he was a great guy very understanding and will work with you in any situation and is very understanding and laid back..he didnt push us and he fought for the price we wanted, although. doing that we lost out on the minor repairs that we noticed after we got home..such as a fog light assembly on my truck is cracked so now i have to fix it as well as the mrrior switch doesnt work in the right direction and was told that because i got a certain amount off they couldnt help me...other than that..its a great place and he will work his magic to get u what your looking for and the price ur looking for..

After shopping online, we purchased a Chrysler 300S. We decided on what we thought was a fair price, made an offer and in less than an hour the car was ours. Kevin suggested that we drive the car for a few days and during that time they would obtain the license. Toler's e-mailed us the next day and set-up an appointment. When we picked up the car Kevin answered all our questions to our satisfaction. The 300S turned out to be a lot more car than we bargained for. Compared to standard 300 it is a sports car.

After having been through two weeks of shopping around and getting the same run around from dealerships in locations like Jacksonville, Wilmington, Cary, and New Bern North carolina I finally landed with Kevin McCarthy from the clan McCarthy who works with Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. I was at odds with dealing with anyone at this point and was just going to wait another year before purchasing a new vehicle, Kevin was a straight shooter he did not try and play a game of smoke and mirrors and was completely honest with me. This is by far the best buying experience I have ever had with a dealership, the primary reasons are : 1) Courtesy - The customer was his first order of business 2) Honesty - Never once did I feel anyones integrity or honor was being compromised 3) Fair - When the offer was made to me it was fair and not overbearing. Two weeks ago, my wife and I were in the market for a minivan. Mike Tolers dealership had the vehicle we wanted, and we made arrangements to meet Elena around 6pm to sign paperwork. We showed up and Elena had left for the night, and the Sales Manager eneded up doing the paperwork. First impression, not good. We test drove the vehicle, liked it, wanted it, and paid cash for it.At the same time, I was interested in trading my vehicle for a vehicle on the lot, and basically got blown off. For three days we requested information and was put to the curb. I would think that any sales person with common sense would know that when a person pays cash for 1 vehicle and is willing to trade another vehicle, they mean business. After we secured our vehicle, we noticed that the vehicle had not been detailed and all of the tires on the vehicle need to be replaced.I dont think that the tires will even pass inspection.This is something we didnt notice since we test drove the vehicle at night and bought the vehicle at night. This is bad business. You would think that a dealership would go out of their way to please their customers when they are paying cash on the spot, and offer something like free oil changes,something. But, not at this dealership. The sdales manager told us they werent like other dealerships and we could pay for their 4 oil change special for $79.00. I am extremely disappointed in this experience and seriously thinking about trading this vehicle in just to have a better experience from a different dealer Overall, this was the worst car buying experience I have ever had to deal with.

I had been looking for a used 2011 or 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee for sometime to replace my 2000 Grand cherokee with 146,000 miles. I picked up the local newspaper early Sat. morning and saw Mike Tolers advertisement.I was excited to find a 2012 model.I sent an E-mail to Kevin Mcarthy to contact me. Although I didn't buy from Mike Toler, this was my first all internet buying experience. Kevin McCarthy did things nobondy else did. He was highly responsive and quick. He got me answers. He took a video out to the vehicle and gave me a tour of two Durangos they had, focusing on the features I was looking for. He didn't call me to hassle me. He was content to give the info, negotiate in emails and accepted my decision to go with a super low miles almost new car on another dealer's lot. Many other on line dealers pretend to be internet savy but use the internet to basically invite you to negotiate in person or over the phone. I'm using the internet because I don't like that process. I recently bought a used Jeep Commander with Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Kevin McCarthy, the internet sales manager, and the rest of the team were outstanding to work with. I asked Kevin the best place to write a review, because it was simply the best car buying experience I have ever had. They were so easy to work with. I found the vehicle on Cars.com and clicked to show interest on a Sunday afternoon. Kevin called me that afternoon, even though the dealership was closed (I think). Within a short period of time the following day, we had painlessly agreed on a price. Because I live several hours away, it took me a few days to get to the dealership for the test drive and purchase, but everything was great. I could not have been happier, and I thanked Kevin for that because buying a car is usually a very painful experience. I would recommend them to anyone, no matter how far away.

I know when work is done on my Compass I will be safe driving. This is very important to me. Like most people in todays economy, I was looking for not just a great deal in my purchase of a new vehicle, I was looking for a great all around experience. I found it at Mike Toler!! From the minute I walked through the door there was no high presured salesmen. My sales advisor, Kevin, took the time to get to know me and what specificially I was looking for in a new vehicle. Eventhough they did'nt have it on the lot they arranged delivery and worked out a price that was well below what I expected. My decision to purchase my vehicle from Mike Toler was certainly worth the difference. They continue to be interested in me and every employee there remembers you by name when you stop by for service or just to catch up. That is extreemley rare in today's world. I have always had a good experience buying from Mike Toler C.J.D; Kevin McCarthy has been our sales representative for both purchases of the Ram and the Jeep Patriot. I was definitely surprised when we came back in over a year after first buying the Ram to talk about the Jeep and Kevin warmly remembered not only who my husband and I were personally, but also my son's name and clearly remembered the details of the Ram purchase. It definitely made me feel like a valued customer and not just money in the bank for them. Both of our vehicles have performed spectacularly since purchasing them. The atmosphere when coming to look at or buy a vehicle isn't pushy or contractional, the team at Mike Toler definitely want each customer to get what they want when they want it without any pushy influence from anyone else. I definitely appreciate the experience there and would reccomend this dealership to anyone looking to buy!

I shopped this dealership in the past with the former owners and found them to be difficult to deal with and uncompetative in price. A family member convencienced me to give them another chance after Mike Toler purchased the dealership and my family had a favorable impression. In the past two years I have purchased 2 new vehicles from Kevin McCarthy at Mike Toler Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep and my overall experience was great. Low pressure sale staff and the personal involvement of the owner were positive factors. I price shopped extensively before purchasing both vehicles and received the best deal here. The dealership quoted their bottom line upfront with no need to bounce between dealerships trying to receive the best price. I personally perfer this no nonsense approach. The Service Department is difficult for me to fully evaluate since both of our new Jeeps have been trouble free. The regular services performed by the dealership have been scheduled by appointment and handled timely and professionally. All employees at Mike Toler Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep are curteous, helpful and professional. I highly recomment this dealership.

We have been loyal to Mike Toler for 3 years now. My husband and I have purchased now 4 new jeeps from the dealership. Kevin McCarthy is whom we personally work with. He is no doubt the finest guy you could meet and deal with. If he hadn't helped us out and went over backwards to get us into our truck, we still wouldn't have one. My family has been coming to Mike Toler for years. Every time we come in we are remembered by name and greeted like family. My parents have bought 3 vehicles from Kevin McCarthy and I bought my first new vehicle as well. Kevin even calls me every month or so just to make sure everything is going well with my new Jeep. I have been going to Mike Toler's for 5 years. My first contact with this dealer was Kevin M. He listen to our problems and gave us encouragement to keep looking.I had purchased two other Jeeps from other dealer, but I came to Mike's for my service. Services were all was nice and not demeaning. I was not in the market for a new vehicle, I just went in for service. The finance personal was very kind and she wanted to help. She saw where we were and were we are today. She saw that we could walk into a new 2012 Jeep with only a little more a month. In October 2011, I was in the market for a newr car. While browsing through internet ads I came across Mike Toler and found a 2009 Nissan Versa that caught my eye. After a quick phone call with Kevin McCarthy, I went down looked at the car and decided I wanted to purchase it. This was on a Saturday, on Monday my financing was ready to go, and all I had to do was sign the paperwork. The entire staff made this an effortless purchase, they all went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied in every aspect. Since I've bought the car, the excelellent service hasn't slowed down(as many dealerships will do) I have had repeated phone calls asking if there was anything that I needed help with as far as servicing of my vehicle, and making sure I was still satisfied. I have told any and everyone I know looking for a new car that THIS is the place to go.

I have never had so much fun buying a new car. Typically most car buying situations can be stressful to a purchaser, but this was not what we experienced. Let me break it down for you. My wife and I were interested in buying a new vehicle, so we set our sights on a mid-size SUV. We wanted a vehicle that got decent mpg for those long road trips and was convenient for tailgating with friends in the fall at our ECU Pirate football games. We checked prices online from various dealers across the region and decided to check out the inventory at Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. We made contact via email with Kevin, Internet Sales Manager and within 5 minutes we received an invite to come and test drive any vehicle we had our eyes on. Upon arrival, we met Kevin and took a spin in a 2012 Jeep Patriot. He showed us all of the features the vehicle had to offer and answered all of our questions. Kevin made us an offer and in 15 minutes they had us a price and payment we could afford. My wife and I were impressed and excited on how easy and fun the process turned out to be. The entire sales staff was great! For example many of the members of the sales staff stopped by to say hello and congratulate us on our new purchase. Even the owner himself, Mike Toler, took the time to speak with us about our new purchase. My wife and I walked out of their overwhelmed with the family atmosphere and their overall knowledge of the product. Last fall we stopped at Mike Toler's to look at Jeep Wranglers not knowing anything about them. Kevin McCarthy spent considerable time explaining the vehicle and all the options never pressuring us to buy. Spent time looking at other dealers and online but went back to him because of the experience we had and the time he gave us without pressure. In January after meeting with Kevin again we ordered a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and he guided us through the order and delivery and after it arrived he went over it with us thoroughly Since delivery we have been back a few times for him to answer questions and he has always been available. Been twice to the mountains fly fishing and have been very happy with the vehicle and especially with the salesman and dealership.

I was so impressed with the helpfulness of Kevin McCarthy at Mike Toler Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM via e-mail, that I drove 80 miles from Greenville to Morehead City to by my Jeep Patriot. So, who really enjoys the process of buying a new vehicle? Sure, it's fun to have a new car, but there are some drawbacks expected- hassling about getting something more than you need, spending more than you wanted on what you needed, the PRESSURE that comes with it- right? Um, not so with Mike Toler. Kevin was just great. He made it easy, low pressure at the first, but that was just the beginning. He got us the best interest rate possible, have you heard of 3 percent? He was really understanding with our wild young children, and the lowest price possible was posted at the first. They don't mark prices up. That was over a year ago, and Kevin and his family has become one of our family acquaintances, sweet and thoughtful, interested in our family. We found the lifetime warranty exceptional, the oil change package is cheaper than doing it yourself. Just great. The only downside to Mike Toler dealership is the oil changes take longer than I expect- it can take 1-2 hours on a busy day, tough for busy little ones, but they have free coffee and crackers. I'm sort of sad that we're moving away, I doubt we'll find this kind of thing elsewhere.

I've bought many vehicles....seven in the past ten years (I drive a lot). I was looking for a new vehicle, but it had to be equipped with OnStar due to a heart condition. Even though OnStar reflected that their FMV product was compatible with the vehicle I was considering, it wasn't. Mike and his 'crew' did everything humanly possible to install the FMV and keep me happy. I've dealt with many dealerships, none would have taken the steps that Toler did! I'm a customer for life!

When the 2001 Chevy blazer I had since new broke down on a Florida trip I new it was time to get something a little newer. I really was not wanting to walk onto a car lot. My last experience left the worst taste in my mouth, I was so taken advantage of. I knew I wanted to look at the used jeeps, I have a friend that referred me to Mike Toler in Morehead City. When I got there I met Mike & Kevin, once there I decided to look at the new 2012 jeep 4 door, Kevin showed me all the options, took one for a test drive, I loved it, figured of I was going to go for a new one I wanted a white one, Kevin & Mike worked there magic and found just what I wanted at another dealer, No pressure, it was all about what I wanted. I opted for the extended warranty, 20 free oil changes & 4 tire rotations And to make it even sweeter the customer service is to die for, Kevin picks the jeep up at my work and brings it back. I have nothing bad to say about this dealership! I went in originally just to look at cars. The sales staff is so friendly, helpful and not your typical car salesman. They don't follow you around the lot while you browse or show you cars you aren't interested in. They are not pushy to make a deal, but are truly there for you and what you want and need! I hihgly recommend them to anyone who is looking to find a new or used vehicle or to get service done on theirs!
