I had called to see if they could work with me on the price, the man I talked to didn't treat me like an adult and said he would check with his manager and get back to me but he never called back. Very disappointed.

Rolf made this experience less stressful, patiently explaining the interior instruments and controls. We have always been really satisfied with the staff at Mills! Everyone is friendly and helpful, and we feel very comfortable when we come in the door, whether we have 'business" to take care of, or if we are just "shopping around" to look at the vehicles on display. The service is always efficient and business-like. My husband bought a new Nissan Pathfinder last year, but, this summer, I was in the market for a new car as well. I am, I know, a fussy old lady, as I wanted a particular Toyota model...and a specific color, too. Lon Holien was super patient with me, and never made me feel like I was being too picky...even though my husband says I was "a pain". Lon had to contact several other dealers to find the car I wanted, but he kept at it until he located it, and it didn't take long at all! When we picked up my car, Lon was very patient as he explained all of the knobs and buttons...lots of "bells and whistles". He said I could come back any day to get a refresher, if I had additional questions. As a former teacher, I would say that Lon is also a good and thorough "teacher". When it came time to settle the bill, Adam was also friendly and efficient, He explained my payment options very carefully, and just a few MINUTES later, we were on our way with my new "Hot Lava Rav4"! My old lady friends are now anxiously waiting to take a road trip in my new "ride"!

I had an excellent car buying experience with Julie and Adam. They were very pleasant to work with and they made the whole thing very easy and enjoyable. I would definitely send family and fiends to see Julie to buy their next vehicle. I had previsouly encountered other sales people at this same location and was not happy.... I was very glad to have met Julie when I returned at a later date.

I needed to find an SUV that I could rely on. Several searches led me to Mills Auto and two other dealerships that had a comparable SUV. I was able to have a "real" conversation with their sales team, both Lon and his manager Kelly had an easy style about them that allowed me to make a solid decision. They genuinely care about their customer and understand that listening is as important as any potential vehicle fit. I strongly recommend you take a look!

THEIR SERVICE CENTER IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. WHEN I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN FOR THE CLICKING NOICE IN THE ENGINE. FIRST GUY SAID THAT I SHOULD NOT DRIVE IT BECAUSE IT COULD LOCK UP. OK TOLD THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND CALL ME. THEY CALLED AND TOLD ME THE PROBLEM SO I SAID GO AHEAD AND FIX IT. WELL IT WAS MISDIAGNOSED SO NEVER GOT FIXED AND I NEEDED TO BRING IT BACK THE NEXT MORNING. NOW I ASKED IS IT OK TO DRIVE SINCE THE PROBLEM WAS NEVER FIXED AND THE FIRST GUY SAID I SHOULD NOT DRIVE IT LIKE THIS?? WAS TOLD IT SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM. REALLY MADE ME WONDER ABOUT THE FIRST GUY. NOW MY TRUST IN THEM JUST WENT OUT THE WINDOW. SHOWED UP THE NEXT MORNING TOLD THEM I NEEDED IT BY NOON BECAUSE I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO GO TO. WELL I HAD TO CALL THEM AT ABOUT 11:45 AND THEY SAID THAT THEY NEEDED TO GET THE PART (HAD WRONG PART). ASKED WHY I WAS NOT CALLED AND HE SAID HE WAS JUST GOING TO CALL ME. (HIGHLY DOUBT THAT). WHEN I WAS FINALLY PICKED UP TO GET MY CAR I DID EXPRESS MY FRUSTRATIONS AND GOT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REACTIONS POSSIBLE. BASICALLY THEY DID NOT CARE HOW I FELT OR SAID. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE...

We came in Christmas Eve to purchase a Dodge Truck and it was the worst experience of car buying we have ever had. We had asked upon purchasing the truck be cleaned out. The salesman took the truck to the service deck to be cleaned. He brought it up and there were still tissues from the previous people and was not vacuumed very well at all. The spray they used in our truck was all over and not wiped down in some spots leaving white spots on the dash and they sprayed in the speakers and now there is white dried spray in the holes. We were not happy with the cleaning of the vehicle. We were having trouble with our truck the 1st week we bought it. We took it in to mills and found out the truck should have never been sold to us in the condition it was in. They had it for a week trying to fix it and finally did. We went in to talk to them about our experience and to ask if they would clean the truck. Our salesman saw us and couldn't even come talk to us or ask us how our truck was doing. We were told to go in the waiting room and they would get the manager Kelly for us. We sat there for about 37 Minutes and no one came to get us. I went and asked where everyone was and they had all went out for lunch. LEFT US SITTING THERE!!! We left and never got a phone back from anyone in that building. I will NEVER buy a car here again and I have let everyone know about my experience when asked. On top of all that we never received out Plates and Tags after we paid for them. We were without plates for almost a whole month until I finally called and asked. They were completely lost at what was going on. I received a over payment check in the mail for my plates. Finally after a month and half the realized we don't have plates and need them. So they finally sent them to us! Never heard anything from them on making sure we got the stuff. Horrible customer service...

After months of researching a new Toyota Highlander I made a purchase without hesitation from Mills Toyota. They come highly recommended from my standpoint. Everyone from reception, to finance and especially my salesperson, Lon Holien, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He even kept me updated on my pre-purchase on his day off! After multiple negotiations, back-and-forth phone calls and hours of my time with OTHER dealers, I stumbled upon Mills Toyota via the internet. Thankfully so. My experience with them was great. They were by far the easiest to work with and most importantly, I received the best price within a 200 mile radius with ONE short and simple phone call. I've never shopped at Mills previously, but thanks to Lon, I wouldn't hesitate for any future purchases. Much admiration.

I haven't bought a new vehicle in over 25 years. Rolf was very patient and informative. He was wiling to match offers and actually had given me the best offer on a newer vehicle overall. He also gave me the best offer for my trade ins. He went over all the new features (and there was a lot!) and was willing to answer questions, even after the sale, about how to work those features. There was no pressure to buy but a willingness to be available if I had any questions. All the staff at Mills's were wonderful to talk to and available to help. I absolutely LOVE my new RAV4!

Absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, the whole process with Mills was phenomenal. Robert, and the rest of the staff, were truly wonderful and helped me to feel more at ease in what is usually a stressful situation. They care about their clients so much. I came in on a Saturday July 12, 2014 looking for a new vehicle. Not sure what I wanted, sales person Rolf Rasmussen was very helpful showing me three different vehicles and all of the features. The Buick Verano had the best sitting comfort and style and looks and the price was good. Rolf spent a lot of quality time going over all of the features. I was so impressed with the dealership and the staff when I came on Friday to buy my car, that I drove over the following Tuesday and bought another Prius. My sales person, Rolf, was amazing as was Pamela who appraised my trade vehicle. Rick (I think was his name) made the financial transaction quick and painless. Amanda, the contact person was very good at keeping me informed about the status of the vehicle I was interested in; however, it took well over 2 weeks to get the vehicle to the Willmar location. When we arrived for our scheduled test drive, the vehicle was not cleaned out or ready to buy that day. The salesman also had not driven the vehicle and it definitely had some issues and did not drive well.

I was considering shopping for a new car as my current 2008 Toyota Avalon was in good shape for trade-in value and I had new car fever. I checked several Web Sites and was impressed by the number of models and brands handled by Mills Auto Center. I was headed to Morris to visit friends and made an appointment to stop on the way NW. When I entered the dealership south of Willmar, I was greeted immediately and saw my name on the appointment board. Loved the idea there were Toyotas, Nissau and Buick models on the floor. I was assigned to Salesman John Lindgren who I learned was fairly new to the Sales Dept. I immediately liked his businesslike and not over-friendly nature. Thought to myself, "not slick, but trustworthy". He had heard word good milage and showed my the Camry's first. I had owned two Camrys about eight years ago and didn't llke their front seats - not very comfy. But milage was impressive. No Avalons in the showroom, but we tried a used 2013 Avalon outside the door and I knew why I had owned two Avalons - tremendous driving comfort in their front seats! I was running out of time and John had helped me evaluate a number of other perimeters in what I wanted in a new car. So made an appointment to return at 2 pm the following day. I knew I wanted to deal with John as my salesman! The next day, John was prepared and had two cars in the shop warm and ready to try out. Was a very good experience. The drive convinced me I wanted an Avalon. John showed me the many features on the XLE model and I indicated I wanted to make a deal. I have never had such an excellent guide/salesman to take me through the process! He explained things I didn't understand on the sticker list. He honored my wishes and didn't try to talk me into extras. He alerted me to the the things I had mentioned that I wanted on a car, and worked through the steps making sure I understood them. He facilitated the time with the business person as I didn't want an extra warranty nor financing and all the "stuff" connected to that step. John was straight forward, a careful listener with a no-pressure approach. He made sure he covered the points the dealership felt were important and gave me excellent operating tips. I look forward to service appointments and working with Mills Ato!

brand new dealership isn't quite finished outside but the inside is really nice...buying process was easy...I told them we were going to be there in 3 hours to sign all the paperwork...they had the Perma Plate and Crystal Fusion all finished with a full tank of gas when the paperwork was finished

We had a great buying experience at Mills Automotive Center due to a very personable sales man, Jason Delage who went above and beyond what is expected in a sales person. He was very understanding of our buying situation, communicated very professionally prior to the sale, during the sale, and most importantly after the sale. After the sale he made sure we knew every thing about the vehicle, made sure the vehicle was properly cleaned before delivery, he even went so far as to make sure the KEY was cleaned for us. He also followed up several days after the sale to make sure we were happy with the vehicle.
