Purchased a 2016 Ford F-250 Lariat 6.7 Liter Diesel Truck. I am 67 years old. I have purchased numerous vehicles in my rather lengthy lifetime. I have never been more pleased than when dealing with Mills Ford. Renee Campbell, my sales rep. was without a doubt the most pleasant and professional sales representative that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in all those years. She is a rare sales person who is as intent on listening to what a customer wants as she is in selling the company's product. She heard me loud and clear, when I told her what I wanted, she located it (exactly)and made it available at an acceptable price. The dealership was fair and honest (as opposed to local competitors) regarding trade-in allowance. I was introduced to Marisa Mills, who thanked me for choosing Mills to buy my vehicle...quite a pleasant and seemingly genuine person. In Renee's absence one day, I dropped in to ask questions and Brady Sladek, Sales Mgr. greeted me in Renee's stead and was as helpful as was Renee during our several encounters. After agreeing to purchase my truck, I was referred to Nate Hill (no relation) for the aftermarket purchases I had mentioned I would like to have on my truck and he was extremely helpful as were all others (finance folks, mechanical experts, etc.) that I had encountered at Mills. In short, Mills Ford is one helluva an operation and I will sincerely recommend to anyone in search of a new vehicle purchase to check out Mills Ford in Brainerd,MN.

Brought in my car for a tire repair. Had purchased the top line of Michelins with road hazard. I was charged $24+ for repair. Thought that was covered to put a plug in. Otherwise service was great. May want to relook at this as all of your competition has this covered under a new tire purchase.

Car wash could have been better. They removed the receiver hitch off of my truck for some reason and then never put it back on...? Instead they left it on the floor in the back seat? Little worried when I bought gas later that day and notice the hitch was missing, then eventually found it in the back of the cab.

Every time he sees me when I come in for service he always checks to see if everything is going good with the car and that I am getting the help I need. While waiting, had the shuttle bring me to Fleet Farm for some shopping so saved some time.Only complaint is that my phone went off at about 0045 Hrs waking me up with a text message reminding me of the oil change appointment a couple of days ahead. I have always had a great service experience at Mills Ford. But just last month I received aa recall notice from Ford about my Windstar ( a rear axle that has to be checked over again). And the last three times I have called about this I get the impression that because this is a recall notice (i.e. Ford pays), I am told that you are so booked up that there is always not appointment that works for me within the next days.I also have appointments that I have to work around also, and unfortunately it appears that with this particular rear axle recall, I have not been able to get one that is amiable.

Service was excellent. I came in without an appointment for an oil change and it was completed in less than the time I was told it would take. The only issue was they forgot to reset the oil change reminder on the odometer. This was not a problem as I am able to do that myself.Over all, very satisfied.

I am still having the same issue. The car still is sputtering between 10-25 miles an hour. Mills did two recalls, one pertaining to door latches and the other was reprogramming of the pcm/tcm. It isn't throwing off any codes. But, I need to talk with Al again to tell him it is still driving the same.

We orginally went in looking at ford Edges and Brian Smith spent quite a bit of time with us showing us the vehicle. We weren't ready to decide right then but came back and purchased the Ford Explore so we would have more cargo space. We asked to work with Brian again since he was helpful when we first test drove a vehicle there. The process was very easy and painless which was great. The Receptionists were very friendly and polite. While waiting for Brian we had other staff asking if we needed anything.

We did take the time to go home, walk through all the invoices, and compare shopped online with what other Dealerships were offering. We came up with a variety of concerns on the pricing. Jacob and Kyle addressed most of the questions very well and even did some detective work on their own so they could speak to our competitive pricing questions. Bradley also jumped on board and sealed the deal. We are very happy with our truck but wanted to get the best deal available to us. This team, Jacob, Kyle and Bradley ensured that we understood that we were and explained why without talking over our heads. Kirk the finance guy was also great. The entire team that we worked with was so laid back and good natured, it was actually fun working with them.I wish all of my new car buying experiences made us feel as good as these guys did. We have already reached out to Jacob again to help us find a nice used vehicle for our son.

Tune up was done without any problems with plugs breaking. Only issue was I didn't get called when vehicle was done, I found out when courtesy driver asked what vehicle I had, and he said it was done because he ran it through the car wash. Maybe, if you have more than one service advisor on duty things like a phone call wouldn't slip through.

It was a regular oil change, but they also refreshed the crystal window treatment. They also noticed the tires wearing wrongly and did an alignment before the tires were too badly worn. I bought my vehicle from them and like to establish a relationship so that the work is consistently performed and follow up on minor problems can be maintained. I have had the vehicle for 2.5 years and I keep coming back.

I recently purshased a pre-owned vehicle from Mills Ford-Lincoln in Baxter, MN. Shortly after I drove it off the lot, I noticed the vehicles climate control was not working correctly. As my particular vehicle was sold "as is," I checked my bank account, and called Mills Ford to get an estimate/schedule repairs. They were able to get me in right away for diagnosis, and ultimately performed the repair (which required removing the dash and 8+ hours of labor) free of charge! Driving a "brand new" vehicle home and finding that there's something "wrong" has always been my primary fear when purchasing any vehicle. To experience this fear come to life, and then receive the service the Mills provided (after the sale), gives me a whole new outlook on purchasing vehicles. Salesman was excellent. Everyone very polite. I did my loan app the night before and ford did not forward to dealership. I decided quickly on car, waited for pricing. You were extremely busy, But the process took over 5 hrs before paperwork was completed. Then I was asked to bring a paper back the next day. You need a better system for paperwork. I wanted the vehicle and would have come back to do paperwork. When we are ready for a new truck, we will try you again. But if it takes this long for paperwork again, my husband would walk and go elsewhere. I hate shopping around for a car, and all the calls that come with it. So I was willing to wait. I would rather have been told how long,left and finished errands, then come back for paperwork.I love the vehicle. We took a extended trip and was very pleased with comfort and how she handled.

2016 Ford Escape 2.0 SE Ruby Red. My experience was awesome. I know that I wanted a 2.0 SE in Ruby Red with the winter package. The one the dealership hadm had the tow package but no winter package so they found me the one I wanted in one day. I test drove it and said on a Friday that I wanted the vehicle and also wanted them to add a remote car starter for me to pick up on the following day. When I went to pick it up and pay it was all ready. Dale Mathies was awesome! I can't say enough about his customer service and following thorugh. I came in for a Ford Explorer door handle recall repair several weeks ago and was advised that Mills Ford had to order the part. After waiting several weeks, I finally got a call that the part had arrived. I made an appointment and showed up at the scheduled time. The service guy was very professional and friendly. I told him I would wait for the repair to be completed. He said it would be about an hour and that he would call me when the vehicle was ready. About an hour later I was told things were finished and my vehicle was washed and ready for pick-up. Everything went well, your people were customer oriented, and I appreciate the complimentary car wash. Since I had to give up my lunch hour for this appointment, I very much enjoyed the complimentary popcorn and coffee. Thank you for a job well done!

I am very satisfied that the door sensor was fixed in a timely manner. I am highly disappointed as it was pointed out that I needed new windshield wipers. Being as how I replaced the wipers less than a month ago and I don't think they have even been used, I don't like the idea that I was told that I needed new wipers. They also said my battery should be replaced as it is not winter ready. I will monitor this and see how long my battery actually lasts me.In summary: 1 - very good. 1- very bad. 1 - is a wait and see.

We saw the vehicle in Mills lot on a Sunday afternoon, after hours, so I sent a text to Mr. Griggs our salesman Monday morning to set up a drive. We were impressed with our salesman's knowledge of the vehicle and professionalism. Yes, we really like our new Edge and it was the main reason for a purchase, but Mills Ford in Baxter, mn. is an enjoyable place to do business. This was our second purchase of an Edge, we traded in our 2013, only for reason of less miles and color and new features. Both are wonderful vehicles, many wanted our old model. Service is great also, our Ford F150 has been serviced there for oil, brakes and scheduled service many years now and is nothing but first class in every way. Then when the work on my vehicle was done, he called me at home and switched me to Sandy, the Courtesy Van Driver, who picked me up within 15 minutes. Eric personally showed me where my car was parked in the back parking lot and gave me my paperwork on the service performed along with his cover sheet for the Vehicle Inspection Report. We traded in our 2009 Ford Focus and purchased a 2015 Ford Escape. Our salesperson took the time to determine what our needs were in determining what vehicle would suit our needs. He took the time to get to know us, encouraged us to ask questions and if he didn't know the answer, he found out and made sure our questions were answered. When we came to pick up the vehicle, he took the time to explain all of the features and how they worked, set up our phone with the Sync and made us feel so very welcome and encouraged us to call him if we had any questions at any time. We were made to feel very much at home and as if we mattered; we weren't just treated like a number. Every effort was made to make our experience a very positive one and it truly was! We recently purchased a new Escape from Mills Motors. We first met Don Griggs shortly before closing time on a Saturday. We had test driven a competitors car and because we had travelled a long distance to get to Brainerd we decided to stop in at Mills and at least look at a new Escape. Don took the time to not only show us several new Escapes but allowed us to drive them. By the time we were finished it was WELL beyond closing time. We decided to buy the Escape not only because it was a good vehicle but because of the way we were treated by Don and other staff. The buying experience at Mills was good as it gets, the people were friendly and honest and the entire experience was enjoyable. The Escape is a Ruby Red SE and we are very pleased with it. We recently purchased a new F150 from Mills. Our salesperson, Jacob Larson, was professional and knowledgeable. He found an F150 on site that met our needs/wants. We took a test drive and knew it was the vehicle! This is the second F150 we have bought from Mills. We are "repeat" customers due to the good service (ability to make appts for oil changes, spacious and clean waiting area) and courteous staff at Mills. We would definitely recommend this dealership!

The personal I came in contact at Mills Ford were very courteous and professional. Prior to coming to Mills Ford, I talked to a friend, and she spoke very highly of the staff. When I arrived at Mills Ford, I was put in contact with Joe Miller. I was interested in two vehicles. a Ford Edge or a Lincoln MKX ? Joe showed me both vehicles. He was very knowledgeable and professional with both vehicles. After test driving both vehicles I told him I would time to make a decision. My wife and I decided on the Ford Edge. we were both very happy in all our dealings with Joe. I (we) would recommend Mills ford to anyone shopping for a new (or used vehicle). They will lie to you big time. I asked about the Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance program and they emailed me back that it only applies to the original owner, even though the original window sticker says it is transferable. I called Lincoln directly and they said it is transferable and told me about the service and how many services were left, they were very helpful. Next I asked if it had both sets of floor mats, carpeted and rubber, as the window sticker says, They said it only came with the rubber floor mats. I asked for additional pictures which they did send, and low and behold the carpeted floor mats were in the trunk. Next I asked them to confirm how many services were left on the Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance program, haven't heard back in three days from request. Next I sent a message through their website about the problems mentioned above and they were passed on to the General Sales Manager, Brady Sladek, so he sent me an email asking to talk to me via either email or phone. I replied back to Brady with both my home number and call number and have yet to hear back from them. So not only are they liars, they are too lazy to answer your questions. Brady S. says, All Mills family businesses operate with the same goal in mind: Your Complete Satisfaction! Whatever Brady. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape just a week ago, and am enjoying becoming acquainted with my new vehicle. This is the fourth vehicle, which I've purchased from Mills, with Don Griggs as my salesperson. I had been doing a lot of research on vehicles, and finally decided that an Escape best met my needs. The Escape's ability to pull 3,500 pounds while also fitting a petite driver, made the decision easy. Now to master all that the Escape has to offer!

I called to purchase a Lincoln MKS which they said is still available. I left a message for a slesperperson to call me back and after 2 days a called them back because no one called me. All the sudden the car is sold and no apology for not calling me back. I spoke to the used car manager and he could care less. Terrible customer service!! I wouldn't waste my time here ever again.

We scheduled an appointment with Chuck to look at a used truck. He had it sitting out, clean and ready to go. After a test drive we decided this was the one for us. Chuck was very friendly and helpful. After we decided to buy, Mills put the truck back through the detailing shop, although it was clean, we left with a spotless vehicle. Don was our salesman when we bought our 2011 Jeep Liberty Jet. He was very helpful and caring. We have bought many vehicles at Mills but then changed to another dealer. Took my f350 here because of a flashing light in the info center. They called back and said it was a trans temp sensor and it would be a easy fix. They quoted me $750. Well while my truck was being checked out, I searched the internet and also came up with the trans temp sensor and the procedure on how to change it. Basically it is dropping the trans pan and the part is right there between the solenoids. Unplug the wire and give it a turn and it pulls right out. Being that your in the transmission put a new filter and fluid and your good to go. Well I ended up paying mills the $100 for the diagnostics and bought all the parts there ( trans temps sensor, filters, and fluid) for $169. I then took the truck to a local mechanic and they charged me $135 to install the new part and fluid and filter change. So my grand total I paid was $404. I dont understand Mills pricing and after this experience I wish I would have never brought my truck there and would have brought it straight to the other mechanic who told me he would have included the diagnostics if he was to do the job. Pretty shocking how an easy fix could cost so much!

It's not always a pleasant experience buying an automobile but at Mills Ford Lincoln we found it doesn't have to be a frustrating ordeal. We inquired about a Certified Lincoln MKX we saw on Mills web site via their chat line and were scheduled an appointment with Chuck Cole to come in and see the vehicle. Although we did not buy that vehicle Chuck took our phone number and email address and promised to keep us informed about new arrivals. After that first visit Chuck understood what we were looking for and when the right vehicle came in he gave us a call to come in and take a look. Chuck was patient, never pushy, and explained the features and options completely. We did buy the MKX, were very pleased with the entire experience at Mills Ford Lincoln and would recommend this dealership and Chuck Cole to anyone. f

Dale Matthies was our personal dealer when we drover onto mills ford lot. He came out to great us and asked us if we wanted any help. We asked to drive several of the used F-150 Trucks on the lot and he did so with no questions asked really. He did not pressure us either after we drove them. He gave us space to decide and make up our own minds but with still making us feel comfortable enough to answer questions. He made us feel like we were his only customers on the lot Saturday even though they were very busy. We walked away without buying anything that Saturday and went home and talked. We decided to go back on Monday to Dale after visiting other dealerships in the area whom didn't even greet us or they wanted a bunch of information from us that we just didn't want to give out or they pressured us and that is not what we wanted when we went out just looking . The other thing we realized is that the other area dealers could not even compare in prices. So because of our experience there and how comfortable we felt our family bought two Trucks that Monday. Our son bought his first 2003 F-150 with low miles and mills made sure that he received payments he could afford, and then we bought our second 2011 F-150. I recommend that if you want the home town experience and made to feel like family call Dale he was great. But really anyone at mills ford I believe would help you. Mills was quite an experience. For such a large dealership they provided superior service. We drove over 3 hours in the rain to look at a Mustang. When we arrived they had the car inside for us. Chuck Cole was busy with another customer but still was able to make time for us even though we were early for our appointment. They did not pressure us to make a decision and answered all of our questions. We will return when it is time to find another vehicle. Thank you Chuck, we will enjoy our Mustang!

Drove two hours to look at a used GMC Envoy Denali. Mills Ford held the car for me so it would not sell before I had a chance to look at it. When I arrived a very pleasant but not phony woman greeted me and paged a sales person. Although my wait was not a long one, it was long enough for me to look around the showroom and notice how clean everything was. The vehicle I want to see was parked inside so I didn't have to stand outside on a cold Minnesota winter day and freeze. The salesman, Lee Austin, showed me the car and then excused himself so I could really look the car over by myself. There was ZERO pressure to buy the car! When it came time to discuss the trade in value of my old car, Mills Ford was the only dealership that wanted to know what I had into the car, new parts and such. The other three dealerships I visited cared only about my cars age and mileage. I'm 48 years old and I've owned 16 cars. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had purchasing a car, especially from a dealer! Before I left with my new GMC Envoy Denali, Mills Ford detailed the car one more time and even topped off the gas tank. Now that's class!
