This place is amazing the customer service exceeds all my expectations. Michael in the service department was helpful and kept me in the loop on what was happening. I love their feature of providing a video of the inspection and a video after the repairs are completed it really helps me visualize what was happening with my mini coop. So smooth! After a three day road trip, coasting into town with a nail in my run flats, they got me into a loaner and while the tire wasn’t in stock they cover the cost of the loaner for the couple days it took to fix so I was still able to get to class! They are amazing, I love my mini family and wouldn’t trade them for anything! Every time I’ve had an issue I am always relieved and it just solidifies my loyalty to the mini brand.

Overall, people should not think the dealership as trustworthy. This is just business for them not a commitment. So, it's up to the buyer to do all necessary research and questioning, before taking a car out and they will not tell the problems in the car, even if its obvious. In my case -I bought an used 2012 Mini yesterday. Throughout the process there is no mention about the second key fob THAT WILL NOT WORK. I was in dealership three times before taking delivery, all they showed interest was to get the papers and while I step out to drive the car home, I get to hear that the Second Key fob does not work and they will not repair\replace it. Great. If trust is the buyers expectation from these Big dealerships, then I see no reason to step into this shop again.

We bought a certified used Mini Cooper at Mini Cooper North Scottsdale back in 2014. I cannot be happier with the sales guy, he not only had deep knowledge about the car, but also about customer service. I want to really thank him for it and to have him as my car expert advisor. Once we agreed to the purchase with the sales guy, the financial person offered us an extended service contract which we accepted and we barely used within the last 12 months. I clearly remember that she verbally told us that in case we dont own the car any longer, at any time of the extended service contract coverage the money for remaining months would be returned to us without presenting us any restriction for this return. Therefore we signed all papers, and on a good faith I did not read all of them. Unfortunately we had an accident in July 2015 and our Mini Cooper was deemed as total loss. To my surprise I went to Mini north Scottsdale on the first week of August and met the financial person again, and she showed me a printed paper with the Mini Cooper policy for this cases, which is NOT TO REFUND THE MONEY, unless very exceptional cases. Wow, even a different attitude if I compare her when I was buy the extended service contract. To be fair, I have to say that I probably signed without reading all the pages, mostly because I trusted Mini dealer and what she told me. My mistake. I understand that I should read all the papers and that was my mistake, but again, as I did not expect to be verbally offered something that was not 100% true, I signed all papers on a good faith. Last but not least, I sent her an email a week ago, and she never replied. Now that I reached our sales advisor she replied. What a bad service. I hope this bad experience does not happen to anyone else.

Our daughter saw a MINI on line at the price she wanted; I called and talked with Dave Smith (again). He said that was a nice car but thought another slightly older one would suit her better. Further to my prior review...another window 'fell in' necessitating yet another $550 repair. The window issues could have been repaired under warranty, but were not. The CD Player accepted a disc the first day, which had to be retrieved by the Dealer (Mini North Scottsdale, a Penske Dealership). The 'Service Advisor' told me they would do this once...I placed another disc in the second day and it would not eject, like the first. Avoid this dealer, and extremely troublesome car. Note: Research Mini and you will find many, many unhappy owners.

2 wks ago Hubby & I drove up to Phoenix area from Tucson to xx out the Minis. This dealership was the 2nd one in that area we visited. I do feel the first dealership was very nice but the North Scottsdale dealership was so very positive, attentive, and informative that we will be traveling back down there in mid October to have the wonderful salesman, David Stinson assist me in 'building' my perfect 2015 Mini and get her ordered. We also had the pleasure of meeting another wonderful employee, Brand Manager Tracy Gurnett who was very interested in our needs. We could not have asked for a more attentive and non-pushy experience. In reading some of the older negative reviews I had to pull out my wallet and look at David & Tracy's business cards to make sure we were all talking about the same dealership. My take is this place is A-1 !

Took my wife to Mini of Scottsdale to look at a new mini for my wife. As in any dealership immediately approached by a salesman and was expressed our interest in the countryman. Our salesman immediately tried pushing us into the new hardtop and advised we liked the countryman for the extra room and size. We saw a 2013 pre-owned countryman that we thought was somewhat in our price range. We found the countryman we wanted and begin to work out a deal. We were offered a lot lower value for our trade-in and the manager would not even budge on the mini. We were beyond upset not only because they wouldnt budge but felt like they didnt want our business. This was not my first time buying a car and I know the process of buying a mini since I was an old mini owner. There was no working deal and told me sorry. I have never been treated this bad since I attempted to buy a car from Midway Chevy 5 years ago. I will never come back to this dealership and will gladly drive the extra time to Tempe were I bought my last mini from.

This may sound ridiculous but we live in Florida, four days drive, and I think this mini dealer is the absolute best so we elected to drive here to have the car serviced. They found the source of an annoying problem the dealer in Florida could not find. The service advisor was very attentive and friendly. We got a very nice new loaner car and the car was ready when they said it would be!! Wish they were closer to home. A great dealership makes all the difference in the world.

These guys are so unfriendly. They really make you feel like you are interrupting them when you come in. They would rather be doing anything except helping you, and they often try and punish you or make you feel bad for taking up their precious time. They give you dirty looks and refuse to undertake tasks that other places would do. It is so bad there, it has spoilt owning the car. I would never by another mini as a result.

The salespersons were cordial and accommodating. When I arrived in AZ to pick up the car, it was exactly what the salespersons represented via their website and phone. As a non-resident, more documentation was required for the sale. Ashley was very thorough and provided great assistance with the completion of documents that expedited the transfer. I will certainly consider these folks when I purchase another vehicle as their professionalism, honesty and integrity were first class.

Buying our Mini was awesome. Buying our BMW was less than pleasant. Then this week the Service Dept at Mini told me I had to REPLACE a tire that had a nail; saying it could not be repaired. Got a second opinion on a whim at Discount Tire and they REPAIRED for FREE! As usual another crooked car dealer...........well is there any other kind?! Sent emails to five people at the dealership with my concerns and no reply. Guess they don't need our repeat business.

I drove to the dealership today to look an a 2007 MINI Cooper S they just got in, when I arrived I asked to see the keys from the reception. She accompained me out to the car and I started it up, I was told not to play with the gears and then rushed to give the keys back so she could go back inside, I dont know about most but I like to rev it up, hear it run and take a look under the hood while its running. I dont know why but I asked to get a valuation on my car so that I could trade it in, I was so kindly ask to come back tomorrow as they were to busy to help me today. I have NEVER been asked to come back to a car dealer, most of the time they are chewing your arm off to buy their car. So needless to say we left with out our MINI, I gues they dont care that it takes me 40+ minutes each way to get there plus the cost of gas. The MINI company should be embarrased to be associated with this branch. Also I would like to Thank Mr Smith for returning my calls...never happened.

It;s amazing, the guys review I just read mirrors my own. Dealership was unsure of what work they had actually (oil chnage) even though that's normal maintenance and the reason I brouight the car. Never rotated my tires and, while they offer me tires at cost, I did not feel I should have to that much. I mean their failure to rotate my tires resulted in my front tires being worn out and my back tries being almost like new. Not my fault so why am I paying for anything. I recommend individuals having troubles report them to the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General. Once enough people have complained maybe they will change their business practices.

I have been looking for a mini for my wife for over a week. Brian Dewire at the dealership spent over a week working with me, my credit, price range etc. he would check in ever few days to give me updates and let me know he hadn't forgotten about me. we did this over the phone because i live over 100 miles from dealership. I then got a call yesterday morning telling me he had gotten 3 vehicles to choose from and to come and pick it out. so we went down and finished financing and etc. and got us a 2009 mini cooper s like she wanted. loved the customer service and dependability of Brian's personality. he seemed to like what he does and wasn't a sales shark nobody was and great to talk with and work things out etc before making the trip.

The service department is great, friendly and helpful but you can't be sure they are doing what they say they are. Problem is when it was time to change the oil they actually did not change the oil, but said they did. I checked it after and it was still very dark. Sent it to a lab for analysis and they confirmed old oil. Not worth arguing with the service guys as denial would be the game. Same thing happened on a request for tire roatation. Said they rotated the tires and yet the worn fronts were still on the front. They insisted the tires were rotated.

It's understandable why MINI refers to their staff as advisors. That is exactly what they were for us, advisors. We haven't had a more satisfying experience with an automobile purchase. This is, perhaps, the worst dealer imaginable. Under warranty they did not fix problems inherent in my new Mini bought from them. The driver's side window drops down on its own and even after repeated visits it does not work. This is only one of 7 problems unaddressed. I can only imagine that their other store, Mini Tempe is as bad.

My wife and I took our 2008 Cooper in for service and we saw a 2011 Countryman that we just fell in love with, our 08 had 70,000 on it so it was about time to get a new one. Paul was very friendly and answered all of our questions ( Thanks Paul ) Kevin worked with us to get the best deal for our trade in. We got what we wanted for it so now all we had to do was get financed, That's where Woody came in. And Woody worked his but off. We had some things happen last year so it was not going to be easy. Woody worked on this from 9AM and was not going to give up on us when he keep getting told No. He finally found someone that would do it and not charge us a high intrest rate for it. This was around 5PM. it took all day and many phone calls. ( Thank you so much Woody for sticking with it and helping us get into our new car ) This is the 2nd car we have bought from Mini North Scottsdale and it WILL NOT BE THE LAST... Stopped in on a whim and next thing I knew I was driving home a Mini convertible. Thanks to Drew we were able to quickly agree to a price. My experience at MINI North Scottsdale, Drew Besenfelder and the entire staff was the most effective and efficient I have ever experienced in purchasing an automobile. The time spent from selecting an automobile to driving off the lot with my new MINI Cooper S was the shortest in my experience as well.I highly recommend MINI North Scottsdale and Drew Bresenfelder. I found Drew knoledgable, experienced, courteous and friendly. One could not ask for more.

James was amazin, I had called him months ago to run some prices for me on a new Mini and it was not possible for the price I wanted at that time. I appreciate him not wasting my time and being upfront with me. A few months later I saw a used one that appealed to me and called him again. That one was slightly out of my price range but he sent me pictures of another one. I went up there and it was quick and painless he told me what we needed in order to get the payments I wanted and was patient and friendly the whole time. The car is beautiful and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I dont feel the need to ever go to a different dealership.

Prior to going to the dealership I spent quite a bit of time looking at different vehicles, comparing miles per gallon, performance, visited the consumer report site, crash ratings, etc. We had been to a local Toyota dealer the day before and took a Rav4 for a ride and came home and researched the Mini again. As luck would have it we happened to see an acquaintance the next morning who had just bought the new Countryman at North Scottsdale and they recommended the dealership highly to us so we paid them a visit. Everyone was so friendly and courteous and did everything they could to ensure we had all our questions answered. James Kelly was our sales associate and he was unbelievably thorough and a real pleasure to do business with. James worked with us to get what we found to be a very good price on our new Mini and a very fair price for our trade in. I would recommend James Kelly and this dealership to anyone interested in owning a Mini.

Every time I buy a new car I spend at least a year deciding what I want. I research several car magazines and read the reviews, check the resale price, safety features, performance, and also check with the insurance company to see how they have done in accidents, theft etc. I also like going to large car shows, like the one in Chicago, so I can talk with the company reps and other attendees to get their opinion. Therefore when I go to a dealership I want the salesperson to know at least as much as I do about the car and the different option packages. It's been a long time since i've met someone like Dave Smith. He started by asking how much I knew about the car and how much information I needed. Not only is he an expert on Mini's but drives one himself. After giving me an extensive history of the car and all the changes and improvements over the years Dave took us on one of the most informative test drives I've ever been on. He drove first, explained all the features, controls etc., and then demonstrated the performance. I was then allowed to test drive the car and was amazed at the, acceleration and handling characteristics. I was also very impressed with warranty and extended service on the vehicle. Initially, I was not intending to buy a Mini because i've been waiting for the Camaro ZL1 coming the first of the year (2012). I've owned Olds Cutlass's, Corvettes, several Trans Ams, a Firehawk and more recently a 2006 Chevy SSR. After Daves demo and personal experience with the Mini I ordered the John Cooper Works Mini with most of the options. Dave was very patient with me during this time and helped with building the car on the computer. What I really liked was his personal opinion of the different options when asked. A few days after I put the money down I decided to add another option. I tried contact Dave late that afternoon and got his answering machine and left a message. Dave had a busy day but returned the call at 8PM that night. After telling him I wanted to add a feature ,he rebooted his computer, checked to see if it was possible, made the change and emailed me the new invoice. I really can't think of what more a car salesperson can do for a customer. Needless to say I can't wait to get the car. If my experience is anything like what has happened so far, I'll be back for another purchase.

This was my second new car purchase from Drew and Mini North Scottsdale. Buying a car is always a pain but this was the least painful experience I've had. The facility is always bright and comfortable and the staff very helpful. The service experience has always also been good. They have an efficient operation.

I have always been leery when buying a new car.It had been almost 10 years.I really like the Mini brand and went in after exchanging some email with Drew.That broke the ice and really, Drew was what I like in a salesguy for cars,knowledgeable but easygoing.We picked out a Clubman that was exactly the car I had in mind.A very easy process.So,all was great until Nov. when a misshap totaled my new car.Not my fault and a mess to deal with.I called Drew after I recovered somewhat and he worked with me to put me into a new Clubman S.The whole dealersip was warm and caring about my circumstances.They and Drew made a problem go my way and guess what.At some point I will go back yet again for another new Mini.A great brand and probably the best car buying experience you would want.Thanks Drew,I will be back.

I was greeted cordially, and when I informed the sales associate what I was interested in, that's exactly what he showed me. There was no high pressure, no phoniness, just comments about the Mini. I didn't purchase the vehicle at my first visit,and when I returned, I was recognized and once again treated very courteously. It was my most pleasant auto purchase experience and I have already recommended the dealership to a friend who is quite likely to purchase a Mini. I subsequently brought the vehicle in for hail damage repair. I got an appointment that was convenient(I live 100 miles from the dealership) and the repair work was perfect, and the car was ready on time. You can't ask for much more from a dealer.

I purchased my second MINI Cooper from Scottsdale MINI dealership. I was fortunate enough to have Drew Besenfelder as my motoring advisor. I knew what I was looking for in my second MINI and Drew matched me with that MINI. He even drove it from another MINI dealership to get it to me that day. He was not pushy, or 'fake' as I have experienced with other non-MINI dealerships in the Valley. I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole buying experience. Finance manager, Brad Reicks walked through the financing, explaining in detail till I was comfortable and understood the terms I was agreeing to. The service is outstanding. Our Mini "died" in our driveway. The dealership sent a flatbed to pick it up, replaced the battery, and returned it to us on a flatbed all on the same day (and we live 140 miles from the dealership!). Throughout the process the dealership maintained contact with us. Everyone, including both tow truck drivers, were very professional and pleasantly friendly. Our Mini Cooper is a great car, but the service we receive at the dealership is what really makes it a fabulous car.

Every time I have a dealing with MINI North Scottsdale, I can always know that they will handle everything. There is something to be said for customer service and not having to act on the defensive and make sure you ask all the right questions. At MNS, they tell me everything I have to know and always have time to explain the answers to my "girl questions" =) Haha...Memorial Day weekend I flushed my keys down the toilet. No joke. I was towed to MNS and the Manager called me to make sure I was safe. He made a phone call and was able to get me a rental on a holiday - when no one was open. I can't even explain how much of a lifesaver it was.Mini N Scottsdale has always been a pleasure to work with. It is my pleasure to tell everyone to go check them out! Thank you :)

The staff at MINI N Scottsdale was friendly, attentive - but not pushy - and made me feel like it was their genuine pleasure to be there to serve my needs. I rarely enjoy the experience of buying a car because it turns out to be such a tremendous hassle. This was 180 degrees different than any other buying experience I have had. This is the worst experience of my life..... We had 3rd party financing, they made me fill out a credit application...wtf??? Check had telephone number to call for fund verification, I guess they didn't care. They told us that they would contact me in couple of days after the check cleared. Well I checked with my finance company 3 days later to see if the dealer submitted the required paper work. Guess what? They never even submitted my financing paperwork. I called the finance dept and the person that answered said the paperwork was not submitted yet and he would submit it that night, Tuesday night. I checked with my lender on Wednesday and Thursday and they said that all the paperwork was not submitted. Thursday evening the lender finally had all the required paperwork and said it would clear in 1 day. Friday I emailed the finance dept, BRAD, and he didn't even respond. I emailed the sales rep that was helping me, Drew, and he had to text Brad to find out if everything was a go. Brad told him that it looked promising and then Drew said he would call me Saturday morning to confirm that it would be ok to pick up the car. If we didn't keep following up and emailing and leaving voice messages, we would still probably be waiting for all the paperwork to clear and to get the MINI we wanted. If you live in AZ, go to the Tempe dealership first. Maybe they will be more thorough with completing sales especially the financing part.

MINI North Scottsdale was great to work with. I made several visits before deciding and was always happy with the service. I appreciated their no pressure approach and no pricing games with payments. I ended up coming in with my trade about 10 minutes before they closed and they hapily stayed late to take care of me and get me in a new Mini and Drew still took the time to go over how everything worked on the car. I had one rattle a few weeks after I got the car and they took care of that without a problem. Great dealer, very fun car!

I purchased my 2005 Mini Convertable -"ORANGE" last March, which by the way was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I had to take it in for service last week Friday afternoon. Derrick right away offered me a Mini to drive for the weekend. This was so great because with my former car a VW, I would have to beg to get a loner car to drive and then it usually didn't happen. My car was ready as promised on Monday. The ease and stress from experience of service at Mini was there from the beginning to the end. I was even greated by the Manager who sold me the car. They are awesome at Mini North Scottsdale, both sales and service.

Brian was great from the very beginning. He was extremely informative, but not overbearing and he never made us feel forced or pushed into making a decision. He answered all of our questions and did not pressure us or speed us out the door. We came by twice before we actually purchased our MINI, and could not be happier with our decision.
