Saw a used car offered at this dealership's website, and jumped at the chance to take if for a test drive. The staff were incredibly friendly, got the car out of their detailing service and ready for a test drive quickly, and let me put the car through some relatively-aggressive paces on the test drive. When I decided to buy, the staff were fast and got everything sealed within an afternoon, including trading in my old car and receiving credit for it.This is actually the second time I've dealt with this location (the previous was for a Hyundai), and they were just as good the first time as they were now. Overall, I was very happy with the service and product I received.

This was the second Mini that I helped to purchase from Mini of Madison. The first was in Aug 2012. My son wanted a Mini and had been searching the internet for local dealers. Note; my son lives out of the country and spends about 3 months home a year. He sent me to MOM to look at certain models that he had picked out. I meet with Kyle. What a wonderful meeting!!! Kyle was informative, slowly braking me into the Mini experiance, as I would be driving the car also. The buying process although very unusual went smoothly. Now 3 years later, a new Mini was in my future. The 2012 had 50,000 miles on it and my son decided we needed a new Mini. Again, he was out of the country. He wanted to lease this time and keep the 2012. After much test driving, I think I drove every manual Mini S on the lot. After power of attorney papers, many cell calls back and forth to my son talking to Kyle, and sale manager and finance manager, finally signed the papers and brought the NEW Mini home. Very helpful people. KYLE was amazely patient with me. He set up the bluetooth, answered questions (sometimes several times over). Then, we had our second date. Kyle again was great so professional and patient. I know if I have any problems or questions Kyle will be who I go to first!!

We weren't precisely looking for a Mini, but after having the chance to test drive 3 different models and comparing the quality to other vehicles we were considering, we finally chose to go with a Mini Paceman because of it's perfect size (not too big, not too small), mechanics and technology. The fact that it came with a 5 year warranty which includes all service is great too. Lisa S. was our first point of contact and greeted us with a huge smile, was always friendly and able to answer our questions on the spot, make good (honest) suggestions and get back to us with information in a timely manner.Totally recommend Mini of Madison, and Lisa S., if you're looking for a streamlined experience.

I had a great time with Kyle. It was nice to not feel like I was being talked into something. Really, the Mini Cooper sells itself. The car is just fun to drive. Kyle is very knowledgable and was able to answer my questions. It was also nice to feel like the sale an was talking to me and not my husband. I have found at other dearships, because I look young and I'm female, salesmen often talk down to me. Or they talk to my husband instead of me. This was by far the easiest and most fun car buying experience I've ever had. I will definitely recommend Kyle and Mini of Madison to everyone.

First of all I drove in from Milwaukee. I will go almost anywhere if I think that's where I will be best taken care of. I am in the service industry myself and i know what it is like to take care of clients. To me one of the most important aspects of my job is determining what each individual client needs and catering my self to occomidate said needs. Kyle Fetters did just that for me and I truly appreciated that. I am a no nonsense kind of person and I don't suffer fools or people blowing smoke up my skirt. I don't need a lot of hand holding or stroking. What I do need is efficiency and someone that LISTENS & Believes what I am saying. Sometimes....as a woman... both of those things are ignored.:( I came in knowing exactly what I wanted & had worked out a price before I arrived... Driving in from out of town... Time was of the essence and a critical element in my deal. Kyle listened... Believed... Made the deal work in my time frame. I left with a new car and a very efficant and painless experience... Worked with Lisa Stofer. Test drove both new and used Mini. Had recently lost my brand new GTI in an accident and was test driving other cars to see if there was anything I liked better than the GTI. After test driving the Minis, informed Lisa that I was looking for used GTI (manual). She contacted me as soon as one became available. It was a stressful time for me at work and with dealing with the insurance company. Lisa did try to get me the price that I was looking for. Thankful to Lisa for everything that she did on my behalf. I love my new Mini Cooper. It is such fun to drive and great on gas mileage. It even has enough room that 3 people went camping in it this past weekend and it held all of our gear! Lisa Stoffer was great to work with when test driving and purchasing the car. She was very friendly, knows everything about the car and gave me a great tour of everything inside and outside of the car when I picked it up. We were very specific on our down payment, monthly payment and the perfect mini options for us. Turns out there were only 2 in the whole country at this time.Mini of Madison came thru first time. I was shopping online for a particular Volvo that is no longer made, and Mini of Madison had one in their pre-owned inventory. I'd never bought a car online before, and already had very bad experiences with a couple Volvo dealers who seemed to enjoy putting me at a competitive disadvantage with any in-person buyer they could find. I was ready to give up when I found Mini of Madison's online listing. They treated me fairly and never made me feel I was at a disadvantage because I was talking to them over the phone, rather than in person. I really felt good about my dealings with them, even before I met them! Ultimately, my wife and I flew to Madison, met the team, and drove and bought the car (and then drove home to NJ). Everyone we dealt with was really a pleasure -- helpful and accommodating, but no pressure, and no "sales-speak". Jeff in customer service worked really hard to locate which Zimbrick dealership had this car, and Kyle Fetters was truly a delight to have as a salesperson. I would buy a car from him again. Finally, Mike Christian (Finance Magr.) also made the process a breeze. Being from NJ, it might be tough to buy my next car from Mini of Madison, but who knows? We'd love to.

After searching many car lots I had "THOUGHT" I had landed a vehicle I wanted at Metro Ford of Madison, the customer service and helpfulness there was so awful I backed out and we started looking else where. We actually went to MINI of Madison because we saw a vehicle online in our price range and awesome mileage, but when we got there the vehicle had already sold. Kyle asked what we were in the market for went inside came back out and showed us another vehicle that was a little high on our price range, so he dropped the price without question. I test drove it and loved it, he was so helpful and professional, listened to what I needed and my concerns, kept me informed every step of the way. Great communication! I could not have asked for a better car buying experience from this group of people!!!! Seriously Sharktastic!!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful car buying experience!

After running a 5k in Fitchburg, my husband and I decided to drive through the Mini of Madison lot. We had been searching for a car for over six months and were pretty sick of researching cars, talking about cars, looking at cars, test driving cars (I think you get the idea). As we looked over the cars, two BMWs caught our eye. Within minutes, Kyle Fetters came outside to greet us and to see if we had any questions. Needless to say, we ended up test driving one of the BMWs and loved it. The "course" Mini of Madison has outlined for customers to use is fabulous and Kyle was awesome. As Kyle provided us with information about the vehicle, my husband and I really got a feel for the car in all situations: curves, bumps, straightaways, even the highway. When we got back to the dealership, we looked at the other BMW 328i and discussed the differences. We loved the color, the heated leather seats, sunroof, and the low mileage so we decided we would like to test drive it. This time Kyle let us test drive it by ourselves and my husband and I got to talk about our options. We decided that if we could get the price down a couple hundred dollars, we would buy it. During negotiations, Kyle was very friendly, honest and answered all of our questions. My husband is the Inside Sales Director of a company and is a very hard sell, so I didn't think we were actually going to purchase the car. However, we did and we absolutely love it! There is no way we would have bought our 2009 BMW 328i if we hadn't worked with Kyle. He is definitely the nicest, yet most professional car salesman my husband and I have worked with.

I saw my dream car on the lot and the next day I set up an appointment to take it for a test drive. It's best to leave the stigma of car dealerships behind before taking a trip to Mini of MadisonI was very impressed with both the friendliness and willingness of the staff to go above and beyond to assist me. Kyle offered to come in that day and meet me for a test drive, despite it being his day off. I fell in love with the 2011 Mini Clubman! From love at first sight up until I was given the keys, the experience was awesome and greatly emphasized by the charisma of the staff. Kyle was knowledgable and seemed very passionate about his job, which is a huge plus when it comes to working with a salesman. The finance manager was great to work with as well. My boyfriend and I are so excited to take the Mini out for some rides and we couldn't be anymore grateful for the experience we had.

I purchased my new Clubman S from M O M with Kyle Fetters as my salesman... he was great to work with throughout the entire transaction.I also talked with Steve Leger,the sales manager...He was also very pleasant and easy to deal with.The car was an order out, and Kyle kept me well informed during the build process. What can I say but EXCELLENT experience. What a fantastic dealership!! We were greeted by our sales person Lisa Stoffer who came outside even though it was snowing to greet us. We explained we would only be there for the day as we drove quite a distance and that we had a few dealerships to go to and that we wanted to test drive a Mini Cooper Coupe. Well the car that I saw in there ad was actually on the show room floor. They drove the car outside for us and my Fiance' went for the first test drive with Lisa (only has two seats). While they were out driving, Nathan took the time to chat with me and gave me some more information on how great the Mini's are...very personable young man. Then Steve Hefty did our appraisal and he took the time to personally introduce himself..and Steve Leger did the number crunching...Well we were offered a fair deal right away and I totally respected that. Then Sheena went to work on getting financing for me and we were able to go grab a bite to eat while she worked on that. She did tell me that it might not happen today..but..when we returned from lunch she had it all together and was able to get me a great rate and terms and payments very close to what I had in mind before even walking in the door. We had 4 dealerships that we had intended on going to but they were the 2nd in line and that is where we ended :) Absolutely a wonderful experience and so greatly appreciated..You guys ROCK!!!! For my first time purchasing a car at a dealership I was pleasantly surprised at how it went. Within ten minutes of being there I felt comfortable talking with Nathan about the vehicle we were looking at. He was very knowledgeable about all things MINI and was able to answer all of my questions.One of the reasons I decided to stop in that day was the advertisement attached on the website for the 10yr 100k powertrain warranty. When I got to the dealership and learned about the details it helped close the deal. Sheena was immensely helpful while closing the purchase, as I was nervous about how that would go. Both Nathan and Sheena were very friendly and easy to work with.

The dealership does not pressure you to buy. I test drove some models, discussed pricing then made a decision to sell my used car and not trade it in. Kyle was patient and didn't press me to trade the car in to complete a sale. I also liked how the dealer communicated the "driving fun" of the Mini, whether on the test drives, during delivery or in follow up conversations.

We walked in on a Saturday to pick up a used Jeep my husband had purchased earlier, and there it was: an adorable Mini Countryman. We did not expect to buy another car that day, but as you can guess as I am writing this review, we did just that. I am an experienced sales professional, and it was fascinating to participate on the other side. A key moment came when I asked for a few more days to incorporate -and enjoy- the "emotional buy" as things were progressing quickly. My husband, the financial buyer, had already flopped over to the do-it-emotional side as he knew I was regularly pulled to the Mini aesthetic. Gone was the guy who encouraged me to buy sensible cars. This left me to be The Decider, as George W Bush would say. Kyle saw a need and filled it by moving the car off the showroom and suggested I drive it for the afternoon. He and his sales leader vetted appropriate numbers and we did the deal that day. Trade in of my VW was smooth and the pick up of the Mini was enjoyable with Kyle explaining all of the options, installing my plates and even charging my phone. Sheena was smooth and efficient with the paperwork. I love this car. I have always liked my cars, but I do Iove this one. Talk about an emotional experience.

I went into the dealership knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted to buy. Kyle helped me get to know my Rav4, let me test drive it on different roads and at different speeds to make sure I was comfortable with it. He even let me drive it to my mechanic just to check it over (it passed the test). Overall Kyle was very helpful and friendly and he made my first car purchase a great experience! We were glad to test drive with Nathan because he was knowledgable without being pushy. His casual sales technique was a great fit for us. He helped with decision making without pressuring us in one way or another while being patient even though we kept him well after close. His minimal cologne was also a great aspect of test driving with Nathan. My husband and I are both scent sensitive, so we were grateful to not be working with a classic over cologned used car salesman.

Kyle was a great, non-pushy, salesman. I went to the dealership with one specific car in mind and he didn't try to talk me into anything else. He simply showed me the car, and then offered a test drive on the spot. Kyle was very personable during the test drive and afterwards while helping us with paperwork. We were excited to purchase a "new" used mini for our 16 year old daughter. On the drive home from the dealership after picking up the car, I noticed a chip in the windshield, which on further inspection was a large number of very small chips on the windshield. I immediately emailed Nathan to tell him about the problem and he assured me that it would be taken care of. I took time off of work to bring the car to the dealership for windshield service and upon arriving was told that there was not an appointment for me. Next, we arranged for the windshield repair folks to come out to our home to fix the problem. After multiple calls, they finally arrived and told us the entire windshield would need to be replaced and gave us an estimate of approximately $487 to do the work. After contacting Nathan about getting this work done, I was told that Mini of Madison would not cover the cost of this work and that Chuck was "skeptical" about our story. I followed up with an email back to Nathan that included my original note to him with the time signature showing that I sent him this note less than an hour after taking possession of the vehicle. This customer service has been horrible and we will end up fixing the car out of our own pockets.I should also mention that Nathan had given me a price quote for this car of $13,500, but when I went into the dealership to inspect the car, Chuck told me that he could not sell it for less than $15,000. My husband and I were not at all happy with this "bait and switch" tactic, but we went ahead and purchased the car. Again, we were excited to get this purchase done for our daughter. We paid cash for the car, did not quibble about the new inflated price and then were not even given the courtesy of fixing a problem that clearly happened out on the Mini of Madison lot. We will not purchase another car from this dealership.And, if this is how a high end dealership deals with customer service, people are going to take their business to other luxury brands or to other mini dealers in the region. When my friends ask me about our daughter's car, I give them this full story and recommend that they not do business with Mini of Madison.Worst customer service I have encountered in a long time.

This was my first vehicle purchase. I wasn't excited about it but it was important that I purchase a vehicle before winter arrived. If I had more time to shop around I would have avoided Mini of Madison all together. I purchased a 2011 Nissan Sentra. I was told that it was on an auction site and that it had been tagged so the lowest price they would take would be the sticker price. I mentioned to Sheena that I am not interested in haggling and I do not see the point in going back and forth on a price. I first looked at the vehicle in mid October, the purchase was finalized in mid November! Why? That is a good question, I assume because they were looking for a better price to come from the auction and it didn't so "selling it wholesale and locally" was a better option. The original price was 11987. I offered 11700 and that was not enough, a month later Sheena sends me a text message stating that the vehicle is now 11495. Lower than what I offered to begin with. I am sure if I had been in a situation where I was able to wait a bit more, the price would have come down further. I had been receiving texts every week with a lower price before I figured that 11500 was a good price for a 2011 with 31000 miles. I came in to purchase the vehicle on a Saturday, David the finance manager was very polite and did his job well, except for a minor second key issue and a replacement key policy. I am not sure if it is appropriate to air out the whole interaction but Shawn the new car sales manager came and said that there was nothing he could do and the company had to balance customer satisfaction with profits. If that is not some of the worst things I have ever heard from a manager-of any company- I do not know what is. After explaining to Shawn that I did not agree with him and after he told me his hands were tied, he said he would meet me half way on purchasing a second key. I do not know how that is possible when just minutes before there was nothing he could do and it was my option to sign the key replacement policy- which would indicate that I had been given two keys to begin with. I told Shawn that that was unethical and inappropriate. He said that that was what I could do because people do that.... After Shawn was no help, David offered to pay for the other half of the key out of his own pocket because I explained that that was quite shady what Shawn wanted to do and coming from a manager, inexcusable. It was above and beyond for David to offer to pay for my half of the key. I should mention, I still have not received the key but I am hoping that will happen soon. Finally, when I finally signed all of the papers and had the keys placed in my hand I left. I stood in the parking lot for about 20 minutes with my mom going over how to use the car, figure out the lights, mirrors, radio, and controls. No one showed me the vehicle in detail I guess that may be a good thing for them because then they would have seen how their detailing was not very detailed at all. About two weeks later, my mother mentioned that she thought that the car was missing an antenna, I called Sheena to ask if my model had an antenna and she said no, that the newer vehicles don't come with antennas. I went to look at the same model vehicle at the Zimbrick Nissan dealership and I saw that my model does indeed come with an antenna. I called to see how much it would cost to get one and the Nissan parts manager told me about 40-50 and that my warranty didn't cover it.I called Chuck to ask him for the information about Zimbrick management and who I could contact to air out my final frustrations. He told me there was no one because each dealership was ran individually and that I should send him the letter. I was not sure if I believed that and after I went in that evening to talk to him, he told me again to write the letter and he would pass it out to the general management at their next meeting. I aired out my issues to him, though, when I look at the situation in its entirety are relatively small and minute issues, but they are most definitely issues that should not have been. By the end of the meeting he offered to put on an extra antenna he had in his drawer and to discuss with David and Shawn what happened when I came in to purchase the car. Chuck tried to put the antenna on, but the actual issue was that the previous antenna has broken off. He told me he would set up a time for me to come in and have it installed and settle the second key issue. This was about three weeks ago at the beginning of December. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. This was my first car buying experience and my first and last time dealing with Zimbrick Mini of Madison. I would have hoped this would have been a lot smoother and easier an ordeal. The only Core Value that I saw from the Zimbrick Mission Statement came from David when he offered to pay for my key out of his pocket. I would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends even though the name is well-known in town. The service and experience were subpar.

Overall a very good experience. Everything was easy and well explained. I bought a used car from a manufacturer Mini doesn't generally carry and Kyle wasn't afraid to admit when he wasn't sure about something, which he then found out for me. I appreciate this much more than if he would have made something up and I would later find out it wasn't true. A couple times I had to remind him of what he was going to find out for me, but other than that he was great. Very friendly and easy to talk to

I went in to Mini of Madison in late June 2011, I had found a vehicle in their inventory online and knew specifically what I was interested in. I was scheduled to take a road trip to the west coast the next day. Despite the urgency to trade in my Mazda and head out of state the entire experience was very easy going. The interior of the dealership is accommodating and fun. I left with a great deal on a '11 clubman S. All around great car. Super fun to drive with way more room than you'd think. The electronic sterering and throttle gives the experience of playing a really good video game. The automatic transmission work with you, especially in sport mode. Super fancy car. I sold it a year later to get back to driving a manual transmission. I now drive a '97 ranger and a tuned up 2-stroke moped. Regardless, Mini of Madison was cooperative and pleasant from the moment I walked in to when I sold it.

Before I had even walked in the door, Eddie was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I was on the lot, looking at cars on my lunch break, and Eddie came out to me, helped me realize I didn't need to be in the unbearable heat, and I could get most of my questions answered inside. I cruised the web on Autotrader.com and found the car that I was interested in at Mini of Madison. I also went to Mini of Madison's site to get a feel for the company. I went to the dealeship on a very very hot day. One of the first things that Kyle Fetters did was to offer me a bottle of water. I had very limited time to look that day, but came back and did a test drive with Kyle. Little things like mis-placed titles were not a problem to wrapping up the deal. i am very satisfied with my purchase.

Sheena called me when they didn't take it, but again, unfortunately I arrived after someone else had taken it and put a hold on it. After they declined the car she was able to fax me the paperwork to put a hold long enough for me to come take a test drive. I love the car and would definitely refer Sheena to anyone else looking. I would like to thank the staff at MINI of Madison and particularly Sheena Manthey who assisted me in the purchase of my MINI Cooper S Convertible. Even though I have bought a number of new as well as used cars, this was a unique experience in that I was purchasing a car that I had not physically seen nor driven and which was over six hundred miles from where I live. Im happy to say that with the help of Sheena and others, it was an easy and pleasant experience, one which I would not hesitate to do again. In my opinion, Sheena could not have done a better job. Her willingness to go the extra mile for her customer was refreshing and much appreciated.

Kyle took note of everything that I was looking for in a used MINI Cooper S and called me as soon as the perfect one came in that fit my needs. I didnt waste anytime getting in to test-drive the MINI. He made sure to go over every detail with me so I really knew it before even purchasing it. Sheena Manthey was very helpful in introducing us to the Mini. She answered all our questions fully. We were aware that she was new at her job but she did an excellent job selling us on the Mini. She was very professional. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Sun Prairie and decided to visit Madison Mini because we have always been interested in the mini. After dealing with Sheena and test driving a mini we were sold. We returned to Minnesota the next day and received a follow-up call from Sheena on Monday. After taking time to do some research and thinking we decided to purchase a mini from Madison Mini. Sheena was very efficient handling the purchase long distance. My husband and I have never purchased a vehicle this way but it was painless and Sheena did an outstanding job organizing everything to seal the deal. We think that Madison Mini has an excellent employee in Sheena. When my husband arrived to pick up our Mini there apparently wasn't enough help in the Financial Dept and there was a delay in setting up the loan. Otherwise the entire experience was great.

Took my 2008 Mini in for service work. While there went for a test drive in a similar 2012 Mini, with Kyle. Ended up jacking up my license plates & replacing everything inbetween, except the floor mats. Kyle was a pleasure to work with.I'd give a top notch rating to Keith M. in the service dept., also. Keith is a very pleasant/congenial person, and very forthcoming with technical information. I learned a lot in my conversations with him, and he should get equal credit for my decision to buy.

My wife and I live in an area which was equally distant from Mini of Madison, known as MOM, and another dealership in the Chicago suberbs. We are about 2 hours from both locations. We spent time at both asking multiple questions in each location. We felt that MOM a friendly environment. Everything felt relaxed and layed back while still making us feel important. They were flexible, helpful and willing to listen. While they gave us the information we needed, they never made us feel pressured. When the car arrived, they made sure is was ready in time to get the current financing special in under the deadline. This included getting all of our dealer location add-ons done, a couple of last minute accesories ordered and staying open past closing time in order to make it convienent for us to pick it up. They also followed up with emails and phone calls to make sure everything was going well after the conclusion of the sale. Both dealerships were very close in price, so the environment and people were the deciding factor. The only drawback is the lack of Saturday hours for the maintance department like the suburan dealership, but we decided that wasn't enough to shift us towards Chicago.

I had an awesom experience w/ Kyle Fetters the weekend before the 2012 Memorial Day weekend I stopped in the Zimbrick Mini of Madison to test drive a Mini Cooper Countryman. Kyle took me out on a test drive and I had an awesome experience w/ this test drive. Kyle covered the ins and outs of all of the basic controls while on the test drive. After completing the test drive I asked Kyle to see the inventory of Countryman's Zimbrick had in stock. I found a delightfuly loaded 2012 Countryman on the lot and Kyle and I began the work for a purchase of this particular Countryman. Kyle was great to work with, he has a great personal knowledge of the Cooper brand, and covered all of the details of a trade. As fate would have it, I had a change of mind on the trade in I was going to make for the Cooper. Kyle was very good w/ his communication both w/ emails and via cell phone, I provided a challenge for Kyle to say the least, and Kyle met my challenge head on w/ great flexibility and resolve. I worked w/ Chuck Ebbs who was very friendly and a great person to work w/ on the different trade-in vehicle I had and was treated more than fairly w/ a trade-in price and terms were met for all amounts for the price of the new Countryman and trade-in. I worked w/ Shawn Ennis who is also very knowledgable w/ Mini Accessory parts, I was able to get a few add on accessories w/ Shawns personal assistance.Working w/ Daleena on the financing and additional options Mini had to offer was an awesome experience. Daleena is a very knowledgable and personal person w/ a great sense of superb customer service, Daleena provided additional information regarding other programs Mini offered on new car sales, I was able to purchase two additional options for extended service and a Zxylon paint protection package as well w/ the assistance of Daleena's knowledge and support. Kyle, Chuck and Shawn also fit into the category of keeping the customer completely satisfied w/ their knowledge and sense of superb customer service. This is a great dealership, and Kyle and Daleena were both very helpful and friendly. I actually live in a different city, but stopped in at Mini of Madison one day to look at another car that they had on their lot ... no appointment, just based on something I saw on their website. Kyle walked out and struck up a conversation in a pleasant fashion. He answered my questions, and artfully brought in his manager to answer a couple of questions he didn't know the answer to. In contrast, the Mini dealer closer to my home had been rather standoffish and unhelpful. After some continued conversations, I decided to make the drive to Madison a few more times to make this purchase. Kyle also did well on the telephone and e-mail. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the service here, since Mini of Madison is a Zimbrick dealer (my wife and I had bought 2 cars previously from Zimbrick dealers and were always impressed by their customer service).Anyway, Daleena was brought in at one point to go over the possibilities of a lease versus purchase. In that meeting she did the usual conversation about extended warranties and protection stuff, but it ended up coming off as useful and informative, as opposed to annoying like those conversations usually are. I was charmed by all of the employees, who seemed enthusiastic and friendly - even the parts guy was nice.I would definitely return to this dealer, and recommend it to others.

My experience with Mini of Madison was excellent. I had a scheduled appointment with Kyle Fetters to look at the 2012 Mini Countryman All Wheel Drive. When I arrived for my appointment. One of the cars I was interested in seeing was parked in front - awaiting my purchase - that was the car I purchased. Kyle was friendly, thoughtful and experienced with his product. He aimed to please me by asking questions and allowing me to explore the car fully on the road and in the garage. The process of buying the car took longer than anyone expected and Kyle made sure the whole time that the waiting time was used efficiently on getting to know the car. I highly recommend him and will recommend him to others. Darlene Fridono was also super to work with. She too was friendly and experienced. She walked me through the financing portion and provided me options. I am not the type of person who needs hand holding or likes a hard sell. Both of these employees saw that and reacted appropriately. I never felt like I was being forced into any decision I did not want to make.

I live in Chicago and was visiting a relative in Madison and dropped by the dealership with my nephew on a Saturday when we had nothing to do. It was actually after closing hours for them, but they stayed open for us to look the cars over, test drive a couple and treated us better than I ever could have imagined. A couple of months later, I decided I really wanted a '12 Clubman, and I drove to Madison to order and purchase it through them, just because of the experience I had. The car came in 6 weeks later and I enjoy driving it every day. Yes, there is a dealer in Chicago near where I live, but Mini of Madison treated me so well, I couldn't imagine purchasing a Mini anywhere else.

I bought a used car from Mini of Madison. The customer service while buying was great. However, when I got my car home tons of issues came up with the car. It's an 06 Mazda 3 hatch. It was my first "new" used car, so I was very excited to have it. 6 months later the struts are completely shot, which is a $700-1200 fix, the back brakes have only 30% left on them as well. The serpentine belt needs to be changed, I cannot even turn on my air or heat due to the loud squeak from the belt right now. It seems like they fixed it up just enough to make it appear in really good condition... not to mention after the first week I had it the engine light came on - and after about 7 attempts to fix it they finally did for free. Which I much appreciated although it was not the most convenient for me as I moved to Chicago and driving back from Chicago to Madison is not easy. Anyway - maybe buying a new car would be best from this dealer ...I have just had the worst luck with mine and now I drive it half falling apart.

Today me and my father were looking for a vehicle for myself. We went in knowing basically what we wanted and were hoping for a reduced price of some sort. Kyle directed us to the car we wanted, and it had a nice discount since it was used as a loaner car. He took care of the paper work promptly, answered any and all questions (some we didn't even realize we wanted to ask!), and was extremely excited and passionate about his job. He seemed to love the cars, knew all sorts of facts and about the different features, and was extremely friendly and personable. The tailpipe of my fiance's 96 Nissan Altima rusted off the other day so I was looking for a car for her to drive. We needed something small, reliable in the Wisconsin snow, with a lot of safety features, easy on the gas, and FUN!!!! I was initially interested in the Hyundai Veloster but unfortunately due to Tsunami this car has been delayed and she needed it right not to get back and fourth from school. After browsing on the Madison dealer inventories I stumbled across a 2009 yellow mini convertible. Initially I wasn't thinking of a Mini because they are usually pretty expensive, but this one was only a couple years old and had just 20,000 miles on it and they had it listed at a very reasonable price near $21000. Obviously I wanted to see the car if only to test drive. Sent a note through the website to tell them I was interested in seeing the car. Within the hour Jeff Goldbaum contacted me to see if I could come in that night for a test drive. He put me in contact with Kyle Fetters. After seeing the car in person at the dealership my fiance was initially a bit nervous, because she knew if we test drove it we would definitely want to buy it and the dealer might not give us a good deal. Kyle the motoring adviser was very personable, asking a lot of questions about why we are interested in this type of car. He had a lot of knowledge in the features the car contained and explained why it was right for us. He also encouraged us to take a test drive. Even though it was very cold out he allowed us to drive around with the top down. This was after all one of the features we were most interested in. They heated seats were very comfortable in the front as we cruised around some scenic areas in Madison. Kyle never complained as his teeth chattered in the unheated back seat, but he was very enthusiastic when we decided to put the top back up. Back at Mini of Madison Kyle never pressured us to make a sale. He simply asked if we liked the car. He also asked if there was anything they could do so we could come to an arrangement. The price of the car was already reduced by a couple thousand compared to the blue book value of a similar vehicle in a lesser condition. Kyle realizing that these are tough economic times for many people around the world was willing to negotiate further. We named a price and he checked to see if it would be acceptable. After a few minutes he came back and we had a deal. A couple days later we came back to buy the car and we met with Daleena Fridono. She was also very friendly and personable. She had already gotten approval for our financing when we got there and she had several types of insurance like packages that we could option for inorder to protect our investment. I immediately saw the value in these packages, but my fiance was unsure. Daleena took the time to walk her through each one and highlighted all of the benefits that we would be able to take advantage of. Obviously Jenny was sold by this time. Later we got in our car Kyle went over all the many features that were in the car. He even hooked up my fiancee's blue tooth telephone. We drove off that day completely satisfied and very excited to drive around on a beautiful September Saturday in our 'new' Mini!

I am from out of state, so I delt primarily with Kyle over the phone and online. He responded very quickly by both methods. He answered all of my questions directly and honestly.I pretty much knew what I wanted going in; Kyle listened to what I wanted and did everything in his power to make the deal work for me and save me time on Pick-up day. He has a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable about the Minis and all their little quirks. He did a great job going through all the buttons and togles for me and set up the clock and Satellite radio before I left. The test drive course at this dealership is much better than the option at my local dealer, and a lot of fun. It was a shame though since my Mini had just been detailed for me to take it home that we had to drive it out in the rain (no fault of Kyle's). This was definately not your typical car buying experience. I am very happy with the service I received and wish all car buying could be so easy. I am sad that Mini of Madison will not be my local service dealer. My loss. Good luck Kyle! Keep up the good work.

Buying a car is probably one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had. So to say that buying my '11 Cooper S from Sean Schimmel at MINI of Madison was stress-free is a huge compliment. Never was I pressured. Never was I criticized for requesting a lower price. Never was I questioned for not wanting more options. Really, this guy was one of the friendliest car salesman I've met and a real credit to the MINI crew.Financing was super smooth as well. While I was offered the additional protection packages, when I said no I wasn't questioned.The dealership was spotless, the parts and service crew I met were just as friendly as Sean, and I imagine this will be a start of a beautiful friendship.Also, they didn't know this at the time, but my wife, who was with me through the process, was just as impressed as I was and will most likely be considering Countryman now when her time for a vehicle comes near.

I told Kyle exactly what I wanted and he took us to the perfect car. Kyle is not a "typical" car salesman. He is an honest, young man working for you, the customer, to find the vehicle of your dreams and or needs. I cannot recommend him enough. Kyle took us to the best test drive location and I think his knuckles were white a few times, but the route allowed us to see exactly how the car handled. Kyle also went above and beyond to help me. I was having a difficult time with the bluetooth and he set it up for me. He also did some research, on the side, looking for commands, as I did not get the Bluetooth manual.I cannot recommend Kyle highly enough. He is young, and he is a motived and professional young man. Great dealership ... everyone VERY friendly/helpful. I loved working with Alicia & would highly recommend her & recommend purchasing a MINI ... I love it!!! The first week that I owned it, the tire indicator light came on in my car. I called & was told to bring it in to check it out. Everyone was very helpful... I found out that I had a nail in my tire. I was VERY disappointed when I was told that it would cost $80 to repair!!!

Sean wasn't like the typical "car salesman" who acts cocky and full of himself. He was friendly and engaging. He was knowledgeable about the cars and shared experiences as he owns them (2 MINI's) himself. Same with Daleena. I'm impressed at the fact that they own/use what they sell. It is also nice that they really like the cars they own too. We looked at MINI at the car show in Chicago 2 years ago and were impressed. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'3" and the car fits us both nicely! We have never found that in a car and we have been married 29 years. Now onto the company. The showroom was clean and had a nice flow to it. We were offered coffee or soda right away when we came in to talk. The showroom was very modern and had a nice lay-out. I never felt pressured to buy. We registered the car to a business we own and our insurance company couldn't cover us as a result. Daleena got a great deal for us as a result of her own networking. All the way around we are impressed and recommend the company. In fact, we are entertaining the idea of buying another MINI for our next vehicle. The product sells itself if you allow yourself the opportunity to check it out. Very happy!

This is the finest auto dealership I have EVER worked with!! They treat me like family. The quality of workmanship performed by Keith McGarvey on my Mini Cooper S is at the highest level I have ever experienced!! I have a 2010 Mini and I have had 29 accessories added to the car (most of which have been John Cooper Works). All of the work on the car I have requested be performed by Mr. McGarvey. Brett Porter has done yeoman service to me in obtaining difficult accessories and treating me very fairly with pricing. Without his diligence I would never have obtaining my John Cooper Works Tuning Kit!!Phil Keller is always a pleasure to speak with when I need service for my Mimi. And finally, MS. Alicia Stevenson the person from whom I purchased my Mini on July 15th 2010. Alicia has always been VERY helpful in answering all my questions concerning my Mini. She has gone out of her way following the sale to help me with accessories added to the car. I value her honest opinion about the many changes I have made to my car.

a 'non-pressure' sale experience. Basically that sums it all up. I needed to replace my winter car and made the rounds through the dealerships. All the dealerships were wanting to make a sale, but there was just something about the environment, the attitude, and the methodology when I was at the Mini dealership that made my final decision. Working with Alicia was very low key and actually fun, it made the experience, well, not like buying a car. Here are some of the ways that it was different. She asked why I was looking and what I was looking for and progressed from there. I was shown both used, new, and newer versions with no pressure to a particular car. Besides just taking me for test drives, she explained the differences between the models and the differences between used, past (2010) and current (2011) production models. I was never pushed into purchasing something more than I wanted and I was able to use the features myself to see if it would fit my needs. Alicia answered my questions I sent via e-mail and when I had decided on what I wanted, she took the time to see if there was a match in the inventory. She was patient and attentive with every visit during this process and actually found my new car as it was crossing the great pond to the USA.As I said before, it was a different experience and I would highly recommend Alicia Stevenson when you go. Not only is the attitude different, but the fact that there was never a deterrent word spoken when we talked about the other cars I was test driving, just facts about the Mini's and what they had to offer. As I stated before, it was pressure free.

I had been waiting for the Madison Mini dealership to open for a while so I was quite excited when I finally got the chance to go in and shop. I was impressed with the look of the showroom and the friendliness of the staff. I had actually called before I stopped and asked some questions regarding cars I was interested in and was helped by Alicia. She was very helpful so I made an appointment to come in and see her later that day. Alicia was very friendly and took the time to show me around the dealership while she found out what I was looking for in a new car. I was not prepared to make a final decision that day but Alicia kept in touch with me over the next couple of weeks until I was ready to come in and finalize a deal on a new car.I found Alicia to be very friendly and patient and have already recommended her and the dealership to a couple of friends who were looking for a new car.

Also, the MINI's service advisor (Phil Keller) is very kind and knows a lot of information of vehicle. My vehicle is not made by the MINI (I purchased the used car made by Nissan at this dealership). They contacted the Nissan and fixed my transmission. In addition, The service advisor told me how to take care of it in the winter according to his own experience. I feel like I will take my vehicle to have further services at MINI of Madison.

I purchased a new Mini through the Madison Dealership. My sales person (Alicia) was great. I was a little nervous not having purchased a new vehicle in several years, but with Alicia's help it was a very rewarding experience. She was very patient with me even after I changed my mind several times on what vehicle I wanted. She took the time to pull two vehicles out to have them side by side so I was able to see the differences between them. She was very knowledgeable about the features and options available to me.

Greeted immediately upon walking in door.Waited 5-10 minutes for a sales person (although the store at the time wasn't busy at all).Met with a sales person.Test drove the car we were interested in.Expressed enough interest to price a new Mini.Worked through that laborious task.Then, said we had a trade in. It was a manufacturer and model that Zimbrick sells. 45 minutes later after waiting and waiting and waiting, they low ball a used trade in price that is absolutely a slap in the face. They would have made $6000 on the trade. I said no thanks and was pressured into providing a number that would make me happy. I told the sales person I did not want to, but eventually did.I was called back and told "good news!" They had matched my price.Well, during that time, I had done enough research to find out the number I provided was WAY too low and I told her that. She promised to do further research and call back as soon as she had done some additional research.Six days later, no call or message. Sorry, but if you don't want my business, that's fine. I can go somewhere else that will be happy to take my money for a new car. Furthermore, she knew that we frequently buy new cars, so she also screwed up a long term customer relationship. Now, I'm soured on Zimbrick entirely -- it's unfortunate that Zimbrick has a LOT of car dealers in the area. We've bought 4 new cars from Zimbrick, and had trouble with them in the past at other dealerships they own .... Not recommended. Also -- since the car is a Mini, you may have trouble with maintenance work if you don't continue to live near a Mini dealer, as warranty work can only be done at Mini dealers. There aren't very many of them.
