He demonstrated empathy and patience with a couple who had different appreciation/needs regarding the purchase of the new MINI and were working to resolve their different needs. I can only say good things about Bill. Most importantly the purchase of our MINI Clubman proved to be the best experience I have had with a car salesman (motoring advisor). It is difficult to both sale your product, but also to be sincere and respectful, Bill accomplished this blend... I will contact Bill when I have a concern about the vehicle, as the complexity of the electronic systems are a challenge. Sam Hall and Josh helped us purchase a vehicle. We drove in from 4 hours away for a specific used vehicle they had. Both helped answer our questions on the phone before we came. They allowed us to place a refundable deposit on the car so it wouldn't be sold when we were on our way. They had it ready for us when we showed up. When we asked if we could take it to a dealer for that brand, Sam gave us some names of other dealers (it was Black Friday and many were closed or booked). The only negatives were that they were busy and the usual business manager was gone, so it took a little while to check out. The title wasn't ready so they said they would send it and there was a mix up with the warranty on the sticker, but it has two years left on the manufacturer's warranty so we're happy. Sam also did a great job reviewing the vehicle features and showing how the seats move. Overall, we felt they were straightforward, honest, helpful, and trustworthy. It was a great car-buying experience.

One of the reasons I chose to buy from Mini of STL has a lot to do with the employees. My salesman moved on (that makes me sad -- sincere, mature, and people skilled); he and Neil (management) proved to be the consummate Mini representatives. Salesmen and finance expert, Sam, Dustin, and Tina tag team to tie the finishing bow on my Mini. I appreciate their help and dedication to seeing the transaction through to delivery.I can't say enough about Todd's (management) work ethic and demeanor. Simply here is my card give me a call if you want to pursue buying the car. Filled out application on line, had just a couple of emails regarding the numbers which they did do some work to get us close to where we wanted to be. I assisted my significant other, Barbara, in the transaction where she traded in her 2007 MINI Cooper and leased a new MINI Cooper. She thought she was interested in a Clubman, but Neil Westfall, the sales manager, alerted us that it would be a totally different feel from the sports car/small car feel of driving a MINI Cooper. He was 100% correct, and together with our salesman, Sam Hall, turned us on to a car Barbara loves.When concerns arose with some of the language in the lease, Tina Logue, the finance manager, was terrific in working with us and Barbara's insurance company in working out the problems to our satisfaction.Finally, Sam spent almost an hour and did an incredible job of going through all of the wonderful yet somewhat complicated features of Barbara's new car. In summary, I will just say that each of these three individuals lived up to the excellent reputation of this dealership, as well as the great service we have gotten from the service department in past years.

It's another mini for me! Could not be happier with the service and after sales experience that I have received from Neil, Dustin and Tina! Between the three, there was no question left unanswered, and the time that they took with me personally was exceptional. They explained all the new features on my new 2017 Mini, and there have been some changes! The car is a blast to drive! Although I live in Kentucky, I still travel to St. Louis for all my Mini needs, service and sales. I have tried other mini dealers and service departments, but I always end up going back to St. Louis. The team there is tried and true and there are never any ugly surprises.

Neil Westfall and Dustin Summers provided exceptional customer service. They were honest and fair in all our exchanges, and did exactly what they said they would - which included picking me up at the airport to close the deal! The car was exactly as promised, and they had a technician remove the tiny spot of tree sap that I spotted - without any resistance or complaint. As I'm much closer to retirement than college, I've dealt with more than a few car dealers and can say that MINI of St. Louis is the only one that I can recommend without any reservation whatsoever. And on my employee ratings, the only reason that I gave 4 stars to Mark Conn (who filled in for Finance) was that I couldn't give Dustin and Neil 6 stars!

Tina explained again in greater detail about covered and extended service maintenance and mechanical warranties to enable me to make a smart business decision to purchase both for my Mini Clubman. Neil Westfall was very sympathetic, compassionate in helping me make the transition from my Kia Sportage to to Mini Cooper Clubman. Neil understood my circumstances quite extensively under which I purchased my Kia Sportage after my late husband's death nearly 3 years ago and my need for a suitable utility vehicle to accommodate my King Charles Spaniel medical needs. I've just picked up our MINI convertible from a routine maintenance at MINI of St. Louis. We bought the car from them new in February of 2009. The service was good then and it's somehow only gotten better. Todd the service manager and Dave and Rick the service advisors are extremely knowledgeable, always helpful and just good guys to talk with. Their mechanics are excellent; repairs have always been "once and done", I've never taken the car back to have work redone. And all of them never give up when symptoms are hard to figure out - they stay with it until they find the solution and you're satisfied.

If I had not met Sam, I would not have bought my 2017 Cooper S- 2 door Hardtop! The greatest thing about Sam is that he is not one of those typical salesmen! Before I met Sam, my previous experience at Mini was not pleasant so I didn't purchase one last year. I wanted to give another shot last month. As soon as I walked into the dealer, Sam greeted me and gave me information I needed, set up an appointment, and everything went so fast and smoothly. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyable to work with! He still follows up even after I purchased my Mini. What I really appreciated about him was that he works SO WELL with people with different backgrounds and different personalities. I am pretty sure my family and I are on his 'worst customers' list. There were 4 of us trying to find the perfect car for me and we were going back and forth so many times, but Sam was very patient with us and keeping it so professional and polite! If you are considering a mini, look for Sam Hall!! He is every customer's dream sales representative; consistent, polite, knowledgable, and goes above and beyond for his customers. I love my Mini even more since the process was so enjoyable with Sam!

I decided last minute to go into the Mini of St. Louis dealership one evening after the handle of my driver side door came off when I tried opening the door. My fiance and I were warmly greeted and introduced to Sam, who is absolutely the friendliest, most genuine car salesman I've ever met. Even though they were closing in less than two hours, Sam was ready and willing to answer all my questions and made it clear he was in for the long haul. After test driving two cars, he suggested that I test drive one more, since it was the model I was leaning toward after going over my options. I was so happy I did because when it came time to make a decision, I felt confident I was making the right choice. Sam and Neil both stayed an hour late to make sure I got the best deal and go over my financing options. Instead of having to wait 8-10 weeks for a 2017 model with fewer packages and less horsepower, they saw to it that I left with an appointment to pick up my 2016 Cooper Mini S Hardtop 4-door (with a few extra packages and way more horsepower than I was going to get for the same monthly payment as the other car I was going to order) in just 2 days!When I arrived to pick up my car, Sam and Neil were both there and as excited as I was to see me driving off in my new car. Sam went over all the features with me and was willing to spend as little or as much time as I had. He even gave me a tour of the service area and explained what I could expect when bringing my car in for oil changes and other services. Tina gave me all the information I needed to know about my car payment and leasing information. She was friendly, quick, and concise! All three seemed genuinely interested in my customer experience as well as getting to know me.I highly recommend taking your business to Mini of St. Louis!

I started looking at buying a Mini a couple of years ago, but thought it might be too small. Recently I decided it wasn't too small, sold my SUV and am the proud owner of a red mini cooper (like the one in The Italian Job). I LOVE IT and can't wait to take it on a road trip. Neil and Steve were very patient with me as I test drove yet another car, tried to decide if I wanted new or certified pre-owned, 2 doors or 4 doors and what color! I went in to buy a new silver 2-door and left with a certified pre-owned 2-door Blazin' Red. I have been a customer of MINI of St. Louis for 12 years. My 2010 Laurel edition MINI Cooper S was my second purchase. I have always had great service and customer support. I am now a Grandfather with small grandchildren in car seats and needed more room. I live in the country with my wife and 4 dogs so need bigger and four wheel drive. With much research, I settled on and FJ cruiser and began my search on line. To my surprise MINI of St. Louis had a beautiful tan 2013, and even more amazing was Kate answering the phone on Friday and taking all the time to answer every question I had. There were a lot of questions. We made arrangements on Saturday to drive the MINI down to the dealership. You guessed it, the FJ was out front and amazing and Kate committed the entire morning to closing the deal. She was very professional, engaged and genuinely happy to assist. They appraised the MINI, we worked out the details and Kate went into high drive to complete the paperwork. Meanwhile, they re-cleaned and detailed the FJ! The whole process was quick and easy and so enjoyable. Kate has contacted us after the sale to encourage questions and maintain contact.I would highly recommend MINI of St. Louis, they entire team but especially Kate Bryan. Total customer satisfaction.

Over the course of my lifetime I have purchased roughly 30 new cars. I have never had as enjoyable and stressless experience as I did with Mini of St. Louis. I decided I wanted one more sports car in my life and after months of internet research had decided on a John Cooper Works. It started with Steve Emerson. My wife and I were looking at a John Cooper Works on the showroom floor. Steve introduced himself and I asked if I could take a test drive. Neil Westfall (new car Sales Mngr.) pulled the car out and off we went. It was instant love. When we returned, Steve helped me "build' a JCW. We were a little far apart in $$$ so we left. Over the next three weeks, we were back several times to drive a Cooper S. Still undecided, we made an appointment with Steve to drive the JCW one more time on a Saturday morning. The day before, my wife suggested we go take a look at the JCW before driving it. When we arrived, Steve was with another customer so Neil assisted us. After asking us a few questions, Neil convinced us that a JCW wasn't for us based on our driving. Mini closes at 9pm on Fridays. At 9:45 we were putting the finishing touches on our order: a Cooper S with JCW exterior and interior kits and almost every option available. Steve came in and added a few suggestions and we placed our order.I have to mention Kate. After placing the order, I was undecided if I wanted a JCW Sporfts Exhaust. I went back twice to drive a Cooper S to see if I'd be happy with the stock exhaust. One of the days was a pouring rain. Steve was off that day and Kate got drenched getting me a Cooper S to drive. Everyone at this dealership is friendly and willing to go the extra mile.When all was said and done, we added a dealer installed "tuner kit" option which perfectly completed our Mini. I realize I've gone on at length, but prospective customers should know that Steve, Neil an Kate have infinite patience. They were always friendly, glad to see me, made suggestions but never tried to "hard sell" me anything. In fact, it's just the opposite. Neil convinced me I didn't need and wouldn't be happy with a JCW. We ended up with a Cooper S that looks and sounds like a JCW, but saved over $3,500.This is THE DEALERSHIP if you're in the market for a new car. Talk to Steve. He'll answer questions, has the patience of a Saint and is incredibly knowledgeable about Mini's. I only wish I could give him more than five stars.

I had a great experience choosing my second mini. Steve Emerson was very knowledgable about all the particulars and helped me come to an informed decision. I went from a 2010 Cooper to a 2016 Cooper S and am very happy. I went back for "second date" two weeks after I purchased the car, and Steve answered questions I had about settings. I now listen to music on my phone through the car speakers, use the green mode for driving and save gas at red lights with the auto start/stop function. Thanks Steve!!

She patiently showed me how to select complementary options until it all just fell into place. Karen is very talented in this area. I was very pleased with the outcome. Recently leased a 2016 Mini Cooper S Hardtop 2 door. I went in with the attitude I was trading my BMW to purchase a MINI. Mark Conn was great showing me all the new features of the MINI as I once owned a 2004 model. Manager Neil Westfall showed me how a lease for my situation may be the best way to go. It took me awhile to digest this as I had never thought of leasing a car before this. After reviewing the numbers it just made the most sense. They were flexible with the mileage allowance and I walked out with a check, with difference of my trade. Tina Logue in finance was a great help dotting the i's an crossing the t's, to make those very numbers add up. It's been awhile since I owned a MINI, and I am glad I am back with this great car. What adds the icing on the cake, are all of those great people at the dealership who made the experience so effortless. I say cheers to them all.

They were precised about the drop off and pick up time, and they kept me up to date about the what was being done to my car. The service was OUTSTANDING to the point that it even impressed my husband who never ever comments about service. Because the service to my car was not done on time (trouble with radio) they gave me a loaner to drive, and even brought my car to my work and exchanged their service car. This vehicle purchase was 7th vehicle purchase. I have purchased from three private owners (FSBO), Subaru, Lexus, Chrysler and now Mini of St Louis. This one was by far the fastest transaction the easiest and smoothest one that I have ever done. I was helped by Dustin who was very friendly, professional and courteous to me. We took my selection for a short test drive, (which was my main reason for stopping in) and I knew right away, that all my research and shopping around had paid off. It only took about an hour or so to get approved and written up. The Owner gave me a little discount off the advertised price, which I thought was already very fair for what I got. Tina did the paperwork for me and I got to meet Steve who took the car originally in a previous trade in. Everyone was very friendly and they all made me feel like we were old friends. My husband and I stopped by Mini a few weeks ago, we test drove a few cars however, I explained to Steve that I would not be ready to purchase for 6 months or so. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about cars and offers of free financing. He was not pushy and said that he would touch base with me as it go closer to my desired time. Followed up with email and I appreciated that Steve was not pressing me to buy before I felt ready. A few week later my brakes on my 2006 mini were rubbing and car was leaking oil and it has 155+ miles, so I came into have it serviced. I thought about calling Steve but did not. While my husband was checking in the car, I spotted Steve and he came over and we talked. Steve looked at me and asked if I was still interested in a mini Countryman. One had come in a 2012 fully loaded with many perks and warranty, low mileage. Wow that was the car for me! The car was off the lot for detailing , Steve got it back so that we could see and drive it. We got the car we love at a good price with everything I desired. I really did not want to sink a couple thousand into my old car. Thank you Steve!

I went in to look for a car to replace my old commuter, but I didn't know if a MINI would be right for me. Karen took the time to hear me out about my thoughts on MINI's and let me try out every car in the showroom. She setup three different test drives, with no pressure or questions, and I found my 2015 MINI Cooper 2-Door Hardtop. I'll definitely look at a MINI when it comes time to replace our other car, thanks in no small part to the wonderful experience I had at MINI of STL.

If only every car dealer was like Mini of St.Louis this would truly be a wonderful world. So I broke down at the Mini dealer with my Cooper...not being from the area and having my family with me it was kind of a nerve racking moment....Until I met Neil...He was able to talk to his Service Manager (on his day off by the way) and get me into the shop, So now I'm an hour away from home with no ride...and this is where Mini will out shine EVERY CAR DEALER EVER. So Rick gets me wrote up and asked if I had someone picking us up...I told him that we lived a ways away and didn't know anyone around, Rick disappears for a few minutes and returns with a set of keys to a Mini in the lot...Rick: Here, take one of our loaners and we will call you in a couple days. So here i was freaking out on how in the heck I was getting home and just like that ALL my fears were gone. I will always be a Mini fan!!

I felt welcome, informed, and satisfied. Dustin helped me with all questions and concerns I had in making my choice and gave me a lot of options to choose from in terms of type, style, and price. Tina, in finance not only assisted me in my paperwork, but also share with me procedures to help when I sell my current vehicle. My husband and I met Karen Fortune, requested a test drive which she quickly and happily set up for us. Once we drove our MINI, we were, naturally, thrilled so Karen professionally took us through the details of the car and purchase requirements. Filled out a couple forms, met with Tina in Finance (who was also delightful) and, boom, the deal was done. I went back to Mini last week to meet with Karen Fortune, my Mini advisor to discuss specials on 2015 they were running. Having a Clubman previously, I wasn't really considering it again and thought a 2016 would be out of my price range. However, after Karen had Neil Westfall look over the numbers, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually well within in my range. Karen took the time to discuss all of my options with me- from select, to traditional pricing, to a lease. This is the 4th Mini I have had, so Karen is very familiar with the condition of my Minis, the mileage I put on my cars over the course of a year. I was very interested in a lease but wasn't familiar with how a lease worked. Karen was very thorough explaining the ins and outs of the lease, which I ultimately went with since I like a new model every 2-3 years which didn't fit with traditional financing. Paperwork was quick, simple and straightforward. Tina Logue handled that and explained to me what I was signing, and what to expect plate wise and registration wise since this was a lease. Paperwork literally was less than 10 minutes and there was zero pressure for extended warranties. After that, I was eager to just take the keys and go since this was my 4th Mini. A lot of sales people would have agreed and been happy to see me walk out the door since the deal was done. However, Karen knew I had not driven the new models extensively. Due to the numerous changes made to the 2015 and 2016 models, she wanted to ensure I understood the new features that were available in the car, as well as take the time to program the settings to my own personal tastes (turn signal flashes, night time interior brightness, exterior pathway lights, Bluetooth/phone pairing, radio station programming, etc.). After we went through everything, Karen did a final walk around the car. Before I drove off the lot, she made another appointment a week out so I could come back in, and ask any questions I might have about How To's related to the car. That evening, she also reached out to me personally to ensure I was enjoying the car.Karen's level of commitment to her customers goes way above and beyond what is expected. She is passionate about what she does, and takes the time to get to know you as a person. She is well versed on all of the models Mini offers- both from a technical perspective and design perspective. Karen is not pushy and follows your lead which makes the entire process stress free and straightforward. A lot of sales people can be intimidating, and buying a car can be intimidating. I know with Karen it won't be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Karen to my friends and family because I know as soon as they walk in or talk to her on the phone or in email, they'll be in good hands.

We work with Karen Fortune (who sold us our last 2 mini's 4 years ago and our first 4 years before that). Karen is the best to work with and is very, very helpful! Also talked with Neil Westfall ,the Sales manager and he was very helpful in our decision. Tina Logue, was great and got us through the financial process quickly. That is always good. Also, they have the best service team in the business. Todd, the service manager, is a huge reason we keep coming back! He is the best service manager we have every worked with (and we have lived in 3 different states) and his staff are great!! Over the 4 years since Todd joined the St. Louis team he has always bent over backwards to answer all of our questions and takes care of all our needs You will not go wrong buying a car from this place.

I just purchased a 2015 MINI Cooper HT from MINI of St. Louis on 1/29/2016. I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Yes, it took about 3 hours but I was constantly doing something and it flew by. There is just a lot of paperwork involved with buying a new vehicle. The people are all so friendly, efficient, and professional. There was no hard sell and I was very relieved to find that out. I was allowed quite a long test drive and I fell in love with the vehicle. I had owned a MINI years ago, but they are much improved since then. I came in contact with a lot of personnel and all treated me with great respect and made me feel welcome. The only reason I did not rate all employees as "extremely likely" is because I didn't have as much contact with some as I did with others. Thank you to all!!

I've been a Mini owner for a while now, and my wife and I always take the time to travel to Mini of St. Louis. Every time we visit we are always impressed by the professionalism and kindness of all the staff. In our most recent visit we came in for service of my Mini Cooper S. As always, Dave was kind and thorough covering every detail about the service required, and even offered a loner Mini so we could grab a bite to eat. While waiting a new Mini caught my eye! The Coupe, for the true Mini enthusiast, and there were only a few left. I just couldn't resist! Working with Steve, Neil. and Tina we had the best buying experience imaginable. Even though there were a few bumps along the way, they were friendly, helpful, and did everything they could to make sure everything went as easy and painlessly as possible.

My "Check Engine" light came on a few weeks ago when experiencing sluggishness and low idling with my 2008 Mini Cooper hardtop. My wife told me to drop it off at our local MINI dealership and let them service it, but I thought that my local nationwide repair shop could rectify the problem. I took it in and their onboard computer reader told them that I needed new spark plugs. "We'll need to get a new wrench attachment since this is a MINI and it takes a different size!" Okay! I get that! They replaced the plugs and the car seemed to be back to normal....for a while! Three weeks later and voila! The same problem returned, i.e. the engine would miss when accelerating or die when at a stop! I called the service department and told them my story! "Sure! Just bring it in and we'll take care of the matter!" I did, and it turns out that the plugs needed to be tightened and that was all. I also asked them if they could check on a rattle that was coming from the rear. Again...a local BMW/MINI repair shop had said that it was just "part of the MINI rattles" that come with a car this old. Not so! MINI of STL found that the rear sway bar bushings needed to be replaced and I needed a new engine belt! Today I am zipping all around town in a peppy and quiet R56...all thanks to Rick and his team! Yea!!! Everyone at MINI of STL is a pleasure to work with...all the way down from Rick in Service, Derek, who met me in the service bay and later took me to friendly gal that took my payment! Heck! Neil, the store manager, has called me at home to make sure that the service that I received was top notch! And it was! So...next time I have a problem with my car, or YOU have a problem with your car... don't wait for the "I told you so!" look! Just head over to MINI of St. Louis! :-)

I traveled to St. Louis from Springfield for the holidays to be with my family, when I got in town I started to notice that I had vibration in my 2009 Mini. So I called Mini of St. Louis and I talked to a Service Adviser Dave explained my problem and he told me they were very busy, but if she could bring the car in we would try to work her in. He did so everything worked out well. They corrected the problem, and I was able to enjoy my holiday.....Thanks Mini of St. Louis.

I knew I wanted a Mini, but with so many customizable options I wasn't 100% sure which one. Dustin Summers was so patient with me and answered all my newbie questions. He even took the time out to show me some of the customized options within vehicles to ensure I would like what I thought I wanted. Even though I did not purchase the 1st or 2nd visit, he still treated me with kindness, did not pressure me, nor make me feel like I was wasting his time. And once I was 100% sure, he took me through a guided test drive that opened my eyes to what a fabulous car a mini really is! The 3rd time really was a charm. The purchase went way smoother than I couldve imagined. Tina was very clear, fun, and let me know what options I had and gave me her honest opinion when I had questions. Neil popped by gave me a big hug and congratulated me on making a final choice. Overall, these 3 made this a great experience. I couldnt be happier to own a mini or encourage others to get one!

I could not have been happier with my experience at Mini of St. Louis. It was Thanksgiving week 2015 and Dustin Summers and Bill Harada took care of me like I was family. They had answers to all of my questions, they explained everything to great length and detail. Both of their customer service was spot on. Like other dealerships, there was no awkward waiting. They kept me apprise of the entire process as we hit each step. I did not have great credit at all and Bill was able to work some magic and get me a great deal at a great price and while he was doing that Dustin dropped everything he was doing to ensure I was taken care of. Even after I drove away, I came back and Neil dropped what he was doing to come put my plates on for me and answer any last questions. If you are looking for a dealership to buy a new or used car then you are an absolute idiot if you don't go give the people at Mini of St. Louis a chance! P.S. I am not being paid for this review!

First, thanks to Steve, Neil, and Tina for putting in the effort to make my purchase both easy and fun!!!I stopped in the dealership about 9 months ago to check out the MINI's and see what all the fuss was about, as I'd never actually been in one before. (I was looking for a car with a nice balance between luxury, price, and personality... and on paper, MINI seemed to be a perfect fit.) I mentioned that I would be purchasing at the end of the year, but I wanted to learn about the various options then so I could plan out my finances accordingly. I couldn't have had a better first impression and I walked away convinced that I'd be purchasing a MINI as my next car. In the meantime, I touched base with the salesperson (Gerard Bulber) a couple times and he was always laid back and patient with me. Instead of pulling all sorts of smarmy sales tactics to try and persuade me to purchase on his terms instead of mine, he gave me plenty of space and I was never pressured at all. I can't believe how refreshing this was compared to my previous new car purchasing experiences dealing with incompetent, selfish, and manipulative salespeople at local Mazda and Honda dealers!!!When I was finally ready to move forward, Gerard and Neil worked hard to keep my business and help me custom order a car exactly the way I wanted it. To be honest, I tried some comparison shopping at other MINI dealers, but it turned out to be a waste of time... as Neil's team had the best deals and superior sales tactics.While my car was being built, Gerard left the dealer to pursue a new career. At first, I was a little disappointed because I liked him and I thought it might be awkward working with a new motoring advisor for the final purchase and delivery. Neil reached out to me and let me know that Steve Emerson would be my new contact, and that he had full confidence that Steve would take great care of me. It wasn't awkward in the least. After meeting Steve in person, I wished that I had worked with him all along. He was just as laid back and friendly. Not to knock Gerard because he was great, but Steve has spent more time with the brand and it really shows. Anyway, when the car was ready to be picked up, Steve walked us through every feature and made sure we had the basics down pat, and he re-assured us that he was available for follow-up questions. (The MINI Connected system with navigation is truly amazing, but it was like drinking from a fire hose trying to understand how all the settings and features worked. Steve did a great job explaining the features and he was gracious with a few of our dumb questions.) So yeah, working with Steve to sign the initial papers and then go through the car was actually a lot of fun.When it came time to finalize the paperwork, Tina was great to work with too. She was friendly and also easy going. This has always been the dreadful part when I've purchased cars in the past. In contrast, I can't imagine how the final payment process could have been any more pleasant and efficient, as it only took a few minutes.So yeah, thanks to Neil and his awesome team for such a terrific buying experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MINI of St. Louis to anyone, and would encourage you to look for Steve Emerson when you walk in the door :-)

The staff at MINI of St. Louis are exceptionally friendly. They treat you with the utmost respect and kindness, you'd think they were family! After driving the new MINI I had to have one. I talked with Neil and placed an order for my new car. The process was so much fun I look forward to the next time I get to do so. Each step was completely no pressure, something I really enjoy when buying a new car. Originally I was given a ballpark figure of 8-10 weeks before the new car would arrive. Neil kept me updated along the way so I always knew where my car was. Low and behold 4 weeks later it was here! At that time I was introduced to Karen, if ever you want to find a true MINIAC go talk to her! She was brilliant. She talked me through all the new features of my car, how to operate everything from the radio to the wipers. She made sure my phone was paired with the Bluetooth and that Sirius was working before we motored off the lot. She has kept in contact every few days to make sure everything is going well and to see if any questions or concerns have came up. Overall I have absolutely nothing but praise for MINI of St. Louis. They continue to exceed my expectations and I fully recommend anyone that is looking to purchase a MINI to go and see them. They do not disappoint!

Pleasure to work with them. My purchasing experience started with Gerard who really listened to our needs. After my test drive I knew it was the car for me, and I decided to come back a month later to pre-order a 2016 Countryman. Gerard spent hours with me going through all the options and answering all my questions before placing my order. Once production started in September I emailed him once a week to check on the status. He was never frustrated or annoyed with my frequent emails and always provided me with a lot of details about the status of my car and where it was in the process. I was surprised that it came in so early (5 weeks, when he said typically between 8-12 weeks). I was so excited to pickup my new Mini and had an appointment for Saturday am, but couldn't wait and came in the night before. Tina, Steve, and Bob (I think that's his name, new Sales Manager) were very nice and accommodating so I could drive my new car home that night. When I buy another Mini I will certainly come back to Mini of St. Louis to buy!

I was in need of a newer car. My 98 Jeep Wrangler has served me well. I was looking at a private party mini but heard a sound from the rear end. I went to Mini of St Louis to see their choice of used mini's.Met Steve Emerson and test drove a 2012 Mini Cooper 6 speed. No noise from the rear end, it was solid! Todd and the crew are great! Each team member was efficient and courteous. The area where the cars are serviced is layed out so well, from ease of pulling cars in, where the guys work on the cars, the cleaning, to exit. A well oiled machine.The dealership and service area were impeccably clean. The layout was great and the design including the minis on display, history, and pictures were amazing. It was like being in a modern art museum. Seeing the making of tony hawk juming a mini was sick, redunkulous, sweet, and pure awesomeness. Even the sayings on the bathroom mirror brings a smile to your face. After purchasing over 16 different makes and models of vehicles. Mini is #1. I found my 2014 Mini online and it was exactly the car I was looking for. I live in Louisiana, so all of the prep work was done long distance and without physically seeing the car ahead of time. Karen Fortune was excellent to work with in preparing for my trip to St Louis, keeping the car available until I could get there and keeping in contact for my status, my trade in and financing. Once I got on site, I checked out the car while they checked out my old car. The car was in excellent shape and I got a good trade on my old car.Tina was great to work with on the paperwork and I appreciated her flexibility with a few issues on the transfer of my old car. I feel fortunate that I got him - Steve has been an absolute delight to work with - from the time I walked in the door, to when I took delivery of the car. He's extremely helpful, very responsive and has a can-do attitude. In other words, Steve is the best! When I was 17, I went to London and was driven to Manchester in an early 1970's Mini. I fell in love with it. "Doing the ton" on the M6 as one of those memories that never left me. So now, 36 years later, I was in a position once again to buy a car, and decided that for one, I would not start with "sensible,' but instead with "fun." I found a gently used, low-mileage Cooper Clubman. Simple and clean inside, more room that I would have expected, great MPGs, and a very reasonable price, so I bought it. The folks at Mini of St. Louis were terrific - welcoming, prompt, and reasonable. I had a small glitch with the car right after buying it, but I was given a loaner and the problems were resolved quickly, easily, and without any cost to me. I do not expect perfection, but I am careful to see how people deal with imperfection, and so far, these folks have done things correctly. I feel a bit like a kid again in my new Mini, and I will confess that on my way home from work these days, there is one particular stretch of country road on which I have relived that moment from so many years ago. This is a good start to a wonderful adventure.

When the 2015's came out we had been bit by the bug again and decided to go see a couple MINI Cooper S models we viewed online. Friday July 4th. Put the top down on my '07 Mini Cooper S and headed out. Got to first hill in subdivision and car started slowing down. Pushed accelerator half way and car continued to slow. Floored it and rpm's went up to 3,600 but car continued slowing. Got back home. Monday at 7am I called Mini and spoke with Todd. Explained what was going on with car and also advised that I was stranded since my wife had gone out of town in her car. Todd said bring it in. My normal 20 minute drive took an hour and a half. Scariest drive ever since I couldn't get my Mini going more than 10mph. Every hill I went down I knew someone would come sailing up and rear end me. Got to Mini Service with no accidents. Todd had a loaner waiting for me. Called me to advise they hadn't had a chance to lookk at my car yet. Called again Tuesday to advise I needed throttle box. I okayed and received a call Wed. afternoon advising me car was ready. It now drives like a completely different car. But this is about the service department. And it is the single best service dept. I have ever dealt with (and this includes some 35 service departments thru the years). Todd was understanding, went over and above in getting me in with zero notice, provided loaner, kept me apprised of everything going on and is a standout guy. Great service. Great car. Couldn't be happier ( even after spending $650 for repairs) which says all that's needed about this service dept.

With not knowing very much about the brand, we found that our salesman, Joe Elder, was very knowledgeable with all questions that we had. Fell in love with mini coopers when "The Italian job" remake came out early 2000s. Never could afford one till recently. i went to the dealer after shopping around, a 2012 model caught my eye so i went to test drive it. After a few conversations and great news about the trade up value of my car i instead decided on a 2015 and i love it. They really dont mess around when they say mini coopers will make you fall in love with driving again. As a side note i took my dad with me to purchase the car and he told me buying a car was the worst experience, He told me dealers are very aggressive and impolite people that just want to sell you the most expensive thing on the lot. That couldn't have been any farther from the truth. Gerard Bulber couldn't have been a nicer and more patient man. He knew so much about everything on the lot. All the staff was incredibly personable and friendly i didn't feel pressured at all. Would buy from mini again. 10/10

She kept in touch with us after the car was ordered to let us know where we were during each stage of the process. I expressed an interested online via Carfax in a 2010 Mini Cooper S. I received a phone call within 30 minutes. I was told to come by if I wanted and visit with Steve Emerson and perhaps take a test drive. Steve pretty much met me at the door ... he was very knowledgeable and answered any and all of my question and then offered me a test drive, BY MYSELF!!! I have never had a deanship do that... I loved it! Took that little mini out on the highway and then decided she needed to meet my husband as I was already in love! Came back and I guess Steve could tell I was smitten with the car and offered to let me take it home for the night... what a surprise! I first visited Mini of St. Louis in 2012, I was "just looking" because Mini Coppers are my dream car. I never thought in a million years that I would actually be able to get one. Karen greeted me and we talked about what I wanted and what I could afford and she suggested a Beautiful (and pretty tricked out) car that was in my price range and let me take it home for the day so I could convince my husband that it was the car for us. A couple weeks ago we went back to mini and sat down with Karen again to talk about upgrading for our growing family and once again she found the perfect car for us. I will always return to Mini and Karen because I have never met a car dealer who made me feel so comfortable. The whole staff seems like a family checking in and teasing each other, and helping explain newer features in their cars. And I also have to give a shout out to their service department that has helped me numerous times and has always done an amazing job. Bought a new MINI one week ago today. My husband and I had planned on shopping for cars the entire day because I was unsure of what I wanted. We decided to start with MINI of St Louis and work our way thru various dealerships in our area. We were greeted by Phil Tripoli upon entering the showroom. I had a repair issue on my Mini which had come up about a year ago as well. The service manager, Todd, took a personal interest in seeing to it that the problem was remedied properly, and made sure it was fixed right. Even though my warranty had expired, they charged me nothing for the work they did on my car. I think they really have integrity, and they make you feel like you and your car are very important to them. I highly recommend Mini of St. Louis and all of the great people that work there.

My husband and I have been test driving and looking at the Mini Brand for 3 years every time working with Steve!! He has always been patient never pressuring us, just informing us of the awesomeness that is mini!!! Finally it was time to buy and of course went back to Steve. We custom built my amazing Disney (electric) Blue 4 door Walt!! It was great being able to log on to the owners lounge and see step my step where my baby was in the production process. Steve was great every step of the way, and even sent me a picture when the car came into the dealer and we were away on vacation!!! When we picked up, Steve gave us a full course in Mini knowledge, we will have our second date soon and I'm sure I will learn more! Driving my Mini is so much fun, and I know I'm safe!! I rode a train four hours to purchase the vehicle that I picked out. I was picked up at the train station by Gerard Bulber (my sales person), and taken directly to the dealership, where I found they were very prepared for my arrival.My JCW was washed and waxed, and detailed inside and out. The paper work was a breeze, as was the meeting with the finance manager Tina Logue.The dealership was spotless, I really liked the waiting area, which I didn't have time to use. He was so nice to find the cars for me. Trust me, he is very nice. because he found a Mini cooper whom mileage is only 2400+ with the lowest price $24000. He worked very attentively. And I decided soon and purchased on 22, Apr. Before I get my car. This Mini store washed my car and filled up the gas. During this long time, Mr. Bulber talked with my right the whole time. I was looking for a used Toyota Prius and I had already extensively researched the car. I searched online to compare prices. Mini had the lowest price in the St. Louis area. I did a quick drive by to Mini to check out the condition. I kept looking over my shoulder waiting for the dreaded used car salesman(s) to sneak up on me. That didn't happen. I went to one other dealer to compare a very similar car. Mini had their price beat by $2,000. So, I called Mini and Phil Tripoli answered my call. I prequalified for a loan to speed up the process. I was dreading the used car sales experience. When I showed up at Mini, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Phil was a down to earth, no pressure guy. Phil had the car waiting for me and I was able to take the car out for a test drive. After the test drive, I decided to make the purchase. The test drive and signing of the paperwork took less than an hour. Tina Logue handled the loan paperwork and she explained everything clearly and with a smile on her face. My experience with everyone at Mini exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

It is funny how lately places just don't have good customer service... It's not just about customer is always right or anything like that it's more about being kind and friendly. I went in to Mini of St Louis the last week of December to look for a car I love small car's and was pretty sure I was going to buy a Fiat. Phil Tripoli approached me he was very friendly, casual, I felt no pressure. he suggested for me to sit in one of the cars, then asked if I wanted to drive one and he asked just at the right time. I came a week later to purchase the car he was able to show me a couple others in my price range and Manual transmission that was a must for me. I picked a completely different one than what I had picked originally..I was so happy. I had taken a loan elsewhere so when I was sitting with Tina Logue in Finance just to do title etc she showed me service packages etc...that I was so ready to turn down but she explained the service package very well the whole time I felt like she had my best interest in mind. I ended up financing through BMW with a better interest than I had originally. A few weeks later I unfortunately and accidentally hit/jumped a median and caused damage to my driver side tire. Had the car towed to mini. And had a call Monday telling me that it wasn't just the tire my little fight with the median had made some major damage to my undercarriage and engine. I had to call my insurance when I spoke to Rick D. I was very embarrassed and humiliated about such a silly accident, I can't tell you how much better he made me feel. everyone in the service department was so pleasant to deal with. They had to order one of the parts from overseas but they kept me informed the whole time and also gave me a loaner car for part of the time. They made a horrible situation a pretty good experience the entire staff was great. I would definitely recommend Mini of St Louis to all my friends and family. Carmen

Actually, everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful, but Gerard was the star of this particular show. I would add that there was no pressure, no 'sales tactics', nor any of the other nonsense that can sometimes make buying a car such an unpleasant experience. Other dealers could learn a lot from these guys!

Recently, I took my Mini to the (exceptional) service department for a repair, just before the factory warranty was about to expire. I left the dealership with a new Mini! All relevant associates "went the extra mile" to get the deal done. The transaction exceeded my expectations (no easy feat), as evidenced by the fact that just 3 days prior to the service visit, I purchased brand new tires for the traded car, as I had planned on keeping it. That fact speaks volumes about the dealership's willingness and ability to keep a current customer satisfied. This is my 4th Mini from them, and I am sure more will follow. My salesperson, Karen Fortune, is the consummate sales rep. She has a tremendous mastery of the different models, as well as all particulars of each model. And, if she does not know the answer, she finds it! How refreshing. Mary Silver "welcomes" each customer to the dealership who calls, with her infectiously positive tone and attitude. Tina Logue, the finance manager, is a true pro. She informs the customer of the various available products, but does so without being "pushy". Rick Drezek, a service advisor, is a beacon of info for the customer. He is a "straight shooter" and I feel he "has the customer's back", by providing neutral advice. Neil Westfall, the sales manager, is, quite simply, a "magician". My recent sales transaction was very complicated, but he figured out a way to accomplish the sale while, again, exceeding my expectations. Derek J and Marvin are the best darn porters in the city!

I initiated contact with MINI by email on Mon night; got a response from MINI first thing Tues AM and arranged a test drive via Karen for Tues PM. Karen was informative, friendly, and flexible. I took a couple of days to consider my options and what kind of deal I wanted, during which time Karen stayed in regular contact with me, but wasn't pushy. I appreciated Karen's approach because I also had unexpected family issues pop up during this time. Stopped by MINI on Thursday so that Neil could appraise my current car for trade; he was also very friendly. It is a 250 mile trip for me to visit the dealership and he took this into account when making decisions, which was greatly appreciated. Todd in the service department went above andy beyond to take care of an issue I had purchasing my vehicle. I purchased a used Honda Pilot, The previous owner only turned in one key, which left me leaving with only one key. The dealer agreed to replace the key, however I needed to go a Honda dealer locally to make it happen. I tired on two occasions to get a key at the Honda dealer on Lindbergh, however with their wait time it did not work out. I should have mentioned that I live out of state, and only frequent St. Louis on the weekends. Todd made arrangements in the Bloominton, IL area to get my key replaced, all set up, no hassels or need to return back to the dealer. It may seem like a small issue, but with my travel schedule, my husband away in the Air Force, it was nice for a change to have someone looking out for me..............thanks to Todd, Dave, and Rick in the service department. I may also add I have a mini cooper and a countryman.

Ordered the car July 18th, 2014, Car was manufactured and at Southhampton, UK for shipment August 6, 2014, car was in Baltimore, Md August 17th, 2014, car was held-up in Baltimore with an EPA "problem", car was delivered to me October 13th, 20014, 12 weeks later.Dealer, Sales Manager, & Salesman were diligent and as helpful as they could be. Mini/BMW was courteous, friendly, etc however never really had any worthwhile information, i.e. absolutely useless. Car is here, and terrific.

We picked up our brand new 2015 Cooper Hardtop 13 hours ago and I still have a smile on my face. This was the most pleasant and FUN experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Karen helped me through the decision making process in the beginning when I ordered by offering excellent suggestions on colors, trims, and accessories. She kept me updated every week while it was being manufactured and shipped. Then, after the EPA held the car for 2 months in port, MINI offered additional accessories I could take advantage of at no cost to myself - even though the "hold" was no fault of theirs. When we went to pick up the car earlier today, Karen and Tina were just as excited for our purchase as we were. Tina patiently walked us through the financials and Karen diligently went through all the aspects of the car. We laughed, drank coffee (great cappuccino), ogled items in the boutique and had an awesome experience - the pictures we took prove it! I love my new MINI and thank everyone at the dealership for making this such a great experience.

They immediately gave me a loaner, and I felt comfortable that they'd take care of my car. Well, turned out the part was on back-order, and they had no idea when they'd get it. Todd, the Service Manager, was wonderful about it. He contacted me from time-to-time with any updates, and told me that because they felt that driving my car would be a safety risk, I should just keep the loaner until it was fixed. It was an overall fantastic experience for me, and I will continue to bring my car straight to the dealer now, if there are ever issues.

He was helpful on the test drive (as I knew nothing about a Mini.) When I went to pick my car up, he showed me how to adjust everything and made sure I knew how to read and use everything. At Mini St. Louis they even licensed my car for me! I came back a few days after they received the plates and they put them on for me.I am constantly trying to talk people into getting a Mini and I fully recommend asking for Steve Emerson! He called to check on me after my purchase just to make sure things were going well, or course they were! He also called on my one and two year purchase anniversary! I was passing through the area and had a nail in my tire. I called the service department and talked to the service manager Todd to see if I could get in to get fixed. He told me to bring my MINI on in and see what they could do for me. I was in and out in no problem. They found the nail and was able to patch the tire. The cashier even helped me with what was around the area on something to eat before getting back on my way. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. She listened to what we wanted to purchase and immediately placed us in the proper vehicle for a test drive. When we sat down to order a vehicle, she did not waste time pushing options we did not want and made several valuable suggestions which we incorporated in our order. What really impressed us, however, was the level of attention we received after the sale. We were kept apprised of the progress of the construction and delivery of our vehicle and were able to schedule a convenient pick-up. When the vehicle arrived, our salesperson spent an hour after closing to answer our questions and show us how to operate the various features on the vehicle. Since then we have received pertinent emails from our salesperson detailing service protocol. We are very happy with our dealer experience and the vehicle we purchased.

I bought my mini cooper in 2009 and at first the service center was not very helpful and no one greeted me when i came into the service center and it was a mediocre to lousy experience. NOW in the last couple of years it is such a different experience. I am welcomed and someone meets me when I get out of my car. They are kind, helpful and smile which is so much better than when I started with MINI service. My car is always washed and serviced very well by DEREK whom I have never met but am so appreciative of his care of my car. He does a very good job every time I get into my vehicle I notice a difference in it being clean! The sales guy, Mark, that I originally purchased my car with is usually there and says hello to me just about every time I visit and talks to me for a few minutes to see how I am doing. The service is now outstanding compared to what it was before. I am very happy with the service now. It has been great.

Mark was completely honest! I went in there looking to lease a new Mini. Drove it, loved it, but couldn't love the new body style. I wanted a Mini for a decade and loved the old body. I asked about the 2013 options available. He was completely honest about the options and didn't try to "sell" me on the new one since I was adamant I didn't love the new body. We worked out a great deal! He even offered some suggestions on how to get me out of my VW lease early! Now I own the Mini I had wanted for 10 years. Yesterday 06/07/2014, I noticed oil on the floor of my garage below the right side of the Bonnet of my 2012 Countryman S, I drove the car to Mini of St. Louis, upon arrival Dave Joseph got me right in to check out the problem (without an appointment), after checking the problem Dave told me it was a oil solenoid leak and it would take about 2 hrs. to repair, he gave me a loaner to use until my car was repaired.As usual it was another great experience with the service dept.All the employees at the Mini store are the most friendly people you could meet, including Derek who does a great job of washing the car after service is complete.

I would definitely go back to this dealer again. Bill Harada kept in constant contact with me when I contacted the dealership about the Mini I was interested in. He knew it was a 3 hour drive for us and wanted to make sure we got the car we wanted when we came out. We were helped by Karen when we arrived and she was all sorts of lovely to us. Karen helped us figure out what exactly we'd like to purchase, was very friendly throughout the whole process, and helped us bypass cars that we wouldn't want to hand down to our son when he turns 16. Karen explained all the various features on our potential car to us and helped us compare the cars that we were interested in purchasing. She was polite and professional throughout the whole process and even cracked jokes with us too. Once my car was purchased, Karen gave us a detailed demonstration on how to use various features of the new to us car. I'm sure I asked silly or stupid questions, but she never got huffy or rolled her eyes at me and it had clearly been a long day.The atmospherics of the dealership were as great as the people. The whole place is very clean and well organized and we loved the Union Jack Mini Cooper hanging out on the wall. We appreciated the high tech coffee machine and the free fruit in the waiting area. The waiting area also included a business center for customers to use as well as a laptop in case customers didn't bring their own. I'd be negligent if I didn't mention the bathroom too. It's done in black and red gloss subway tiles and feels like a car designer had a hand in designing it. From the bathrooms to the car lot, the whole dealership puts forth a unified marketing message that matches your Mini buying experience.

My daughter and I first met Karen in June of last year. We were looking at used Mini's. We were going to share the car when my daughter got her license. I noticed the high resale value and decided to get a new Mini Hardtop. So we have had many visits and conversations with Karen. Driving the first 2014 Hardtop in St. Louis, etc. Finally I was able to order my New Mini last week. When we finished I told Karen that some funds had become available for a used car for my daughter. Karen had a low mileage Mini Hardtop trade in. We ended up putting a deposit on the car and Tina worked out pre approval on both cars. We picked up the '09 on Monday! Can't wait for the '14 in June. We have a 2011 Mini Cooper S Countryman that was still under warranty and needed to be looked at due to the check engine light coming on and it was driving very sluggish. The problem was that we live two hours away from the nearest dealer. Even though it would have been a drive, we would have gladly made the trip but the Mini couldn't go over 50 mph so we had no idea how we were going to get it there. We considered just spending the money and getting it fixed somewhere locally. But after sharing an online conversation with Bill Harada at Mini of St. Louis, we found out that not only will the repair be covered under warranty, but Mini Roadside Assistance will arrange to have it picked up and towed to the dealership. Wow! That was a relief. So, the next day it was picked up and taken to St. Louis. I received a call from Dave, the Service Department manager, that it had arrived and they would get to work on it as soon as they could. The following day he called me to tell me it was fixed and it would be towed back to our home that very afternoon. WOW! We couldn't believe it. We have never had such excellent service from anywhere! The Mini arrived clean, fixed, safe and sound, exactly when they told us it would. We really can't say enough good things about these guys. This kind of service makes us want to buy another Mini! Thank you!

Not only are the people that work at Mini of St. Louis extremely friendly, they're also very accommodating and curious. Everyone I've interacted with thus far has a passion for what they do and are all very educated on their brand, as well as the cars they are selling. I've had many questions and not once did I feel I was inconveniencing anyone who I asked, and even after the sale was completed, Mark has followed up with me a number of times to make sure everything is going alright and to see if I needed anything. Brought my MINI to the dealership to have a "door ding" fixed. I was greeted before I even stepped out of my car and everyone was very friendly. My car was fixed within 30 minutes which was extremely fast, and the quality of work was great. Afterward, two employees went to lengths to find out if the service was covered under any type of warranty I'd purchased because I couldn't find the paperwork and it wasn't showing up in their computer. Turns out it was. When I was taken back to my car it had been washed and vacuumed for me. This was the most painless auto repair experience I've ever had!

My husband and I were in the market for a Nissan Pathfinder. We looked online and at several car dealerships around Kansas City no car felt "just right". We found 2 pathfinders we were interested in which both happened to be in St Louis. We made the 4 hour road trip in hopes of coming home with a new car but facing the reality we may not purchase a car. As we arrived at Mini of St Louis we asked for Steve Emerson, a man my husband had made contact with via email and phone. We were pleasantly surprised when we met Steve. He was very upbeat and friendly. He directed us to the car we were wanting to see and we took it on a test drive. The car itself was in like new condition. We were both excited about the car, however we expected to have to haggle for hours over price. After the test drive we sat down with Steve and he and my husband begain talking numbers. Within less than 30 minutes we had purchased the car. We happened to arrive during the Mini food truck day which turned into an added bonus. As we left the dealership with the new car my husband and I both felt like we received a fair deal and the overall experience was actually FUN! The following Monday Steve called to follow up regarading our purchase and to ensure everything was going well. We have had nothing but positive things to say about our car buying experience. I have gone to this dealership twice. During my last service visit, I was treated well. The three items that I needed to have done were completed in under two hours, and the bill was not padded with trumped up labor costs. Marvin greeted me and instructed me on what I needed to do to check in. The service adviser, Dave, was direct and clear; and the receptionist, Carrie, was very helpful in answering my questions. My car was washed and vacuumed by Derrik. I felt as if they valued my business.I also want to mention that I had a complaint concerning an earlier service trip, and Todd Feuerhaken called me personally the very next morning to try to help me resolve the concern. I appreciate the fact that he took my remarks seriously and wanted to do what he could do to help.Overall, I believe the changes that Mini of St. Louis has made in its customer service plan are positive. I do know that I feel better about my experience: if this level of service is maintained, I will definitely buy a second mini when the 2005 I am driving gives out.

Steve was great. He answered every question (we had a lot), and was patient while we took our time discussing the car, and our purchasing options. He was very knowledgeable. He made sure to take as much time as necessary to show our daughter every feature, and to make sure she was comfortable in the Mini. It was an overall fantastic experience.

The wiper blades were changed - a piece of plastic had come off on top of blade and they put it back on. They changed the oil. Also, they checked eerything. The only thing soon to be changed was the two front tires - 30% left. They were very helpful and friendly. I just sat back and enjoyed the expresso coffee.

I have worked with this dealership for over ten years and have purchased two Minis from them. While I have had very positive experiences with the actual purchasing of the Cooper S's, when a servicing appointment is (infrequently) necessary I have never been put off for any length of time. The question is more often than not "when is it convenient for ME to come in?" The service area is immaculate when I pull my car in, and I am escorted directly to the consultation area. Rick - my "favorite" service advisor - listens to me, takes as much time as is necessary to determine the exact problem, makes certain that I understand what they are going to do, and keeps me appraised as to how the servicing is going. What's not to like about that!

Thanks to the diligent efforts on the part of the service department team, the solution to the soft top being inoperable was solved. The service department had my vehicle for a week and during that time period I received status updates. I very much appreciate the use of the loaner car during this time. After bringing my Mini on Monday for service for a recall, I was sad to find it leaking yesterday. I didn't have time to drive back to St. Louis, and called Todd. He was wonderful, and offered several options...bringing the car back and getting a loaner or having it hauled to the dealership, fixed then returned. I was skeptical but he said they'd work as quickly as they could and return my car as fast as possible, so I found a ride back and forth to work and called the 1-800 number. The guy that hauled my car showed up quickly yesterday afternoon, and by noon today Dave called to tell me my car was finished and they were arranging to bring it back. I couldn't believe they chased down the leak, fixed the car, and were ready to have it sent back here. In total, I was without it just 24 hours-I've lost cars for far longer taking them to local dealers who didn't give me driveway to driveway service, bending over backwards to make getting my car fixed as easy as possible. For the second time this week I am so grateful for the consideration of the Mini of St. Louis service department. Twice now I have had a good service experience with the car I adore...that's like finding a unicorn. So many thanks to Todd and Dave, and everyone else who took car of this problem and made this experience as easy as possible. I really appreciate it.

I was received on time, and was shown a place to wait that had food, drink, WiFi, and a comfortable place to work. I thought I only needed an oil change, but the service personnel pointed out other items that were due for attention. All of this was completed in the time promised. My car was washed, vacuumed, and I left on time. I can not imagine a better experience.

This dealership is a 2 hour drive from my home but is the closest one where I can have my MINI serviced. I was having second thoughts about buying this car because of the long drive...until I realized it was an easy highway drive from Columbia, and until I had work done there. From the minute I walked in and Marvin said hello, it was the best dealer service experience I've ever had. Todd was prompt, listened to my problem, and plugged my key in to see what service was due, then found a recall that needed to be addressed. I was a week early for routine maintenance so I could not have that done, but Todd tried and for that I'm grateful. I am also grateful for their business center where I was able to work while they worked on my car, and because I'd expected to have to sit there for hours and was in and out in a little more than an hour. The entire dealership is clean and nice and I loved that there was fruit and coffee for people while they waited on their cars. The check-out when my car was finished was a breeze and Todd and Karen were full of suggestions if I ever needed to drop the car off on the weekend. My car was parked in front of the garage door, ready to go-washed and vacuumed, too, which I cannot begin to say how much I appreciated as this was on my to do list-and it is running like a dream. I adore my car-it is my baby-and I am so glad to know I can take it there when it needs work because I know they will give it the same TLC I do. They are professional, kind, and skilled, and I would without hesitation buy a new MINI from them, even given that there are lots of car dealers here in Columbia. I highly recommend this dealership!

I came into St. Louis MINI to look around on a Monday and bought a car on Thursday. . .and through-out the days in between Steve Emerson made himself available to answer any good or (mostly) silly questions my wife and I could come up with. It has been one of the more enjoyable car purchases we have made. Steve's low-key, no-pressure approach made the decision to buy our decision and not one we felt the salesman made for us. My Cooper S "Marla" developed a leak. I called roadside service, she was picked up from my home in Columbia, MO & transported to St. Louis. 24 hrs & 30 mins later she was delivered back to me w/a new water pump, oil change & new wiper blades! Not only was this impressive timing, I now will not have to make a special trip back for service in another month since they went ahead and took care of it while she was there. I received a follow up call from Mark a few days later to make sure everything was good. It was GREAT! :)

I purchased my MINI Paceman from MINI of St. Louis and was enjoying motoring for a month when I received a call from my motoring advisor Mike. He informed me that MINI wanted me to bring my vehicle (Harry) back in for a "Second Date" service. Of course, I was more than happy to visit the dealership again. The guys in the service center gave "Harry" the once over, checked and topped off the fluids, and Marvin cleaned him up very nicely while I visited with Mike, and briefly with Tina. Mike made sure I was familiar with my car, and asked if I had any questions since I had the pleasure of motoring for a month. I couldn't think of anything he hadn't already gone over with me, but he assured me that if I ever had questions, I could always give him a call. Once the service was complete, Mike went over the checklist to my satisfaction, and I was once again on my way motoring. I can't wait to visit again; the staff at MINI of St. Louis has always been very pleasant, polite and personable with me. I recommend them every chance I get! Keep Up The Great Work!!!

I had a problem with an engine light. The service center got me in immediately. They drove me to work. They fixed the problem immediately. They did not charge me. They brought the car back to my work. Everyone was so nice on this visit. The service manager, Todd, was nice and communicated very effectively. The man who greeted me and took the car was also extremely helpful and courteous, and I am not really entirely sure of his name. I just guessed on it above. Anyway, this is one of the best service visits I have ever had in my life. And I got my car cleaned in the bargain!

I took our Mini Clubman in for service yesterday morning and was pleasantly greeted by a porter and escorted to the service desk where I was turned over to Dave. He determined what service was due and that it might need programming. I elected to stay until a determination was made as to the duration of service. While waiting I struck up a conversation with Mike Preiss about future models and the timelines. I found him very knowledgeable and helpful. It seemed my car was going to take longer than I wanted to wait so Dave put me in a loaner car and I was off. I received a call from Carrie early afternoon that the car was ready. When I picked it up every thing went smooth my car was washed and dried,everyone was friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy their job which is refreshing. Steve Emerson was there when I picked up the car and he was gracious and helpful as always. He reset the key memory for my wife's key and spent some time with me as well. I am retired from auto dealerships and was never employed by nor affiliated with this company. I am very impressed with this organizations treatment of their clients even when their nearest competitor is Four hours away.

Mark was a lot of fun to work with. He is honest in his opinions and took my opinions seriously. I passed on one car and Mark never pressured me. I purchased a different car from Mark at a later date and again he never pressured me. He did everything he could to help. I met with Steve Emerson in late December to test drive 2 different MINI models. I was interested in the Hardtop S and the Paceman S. After letting me drive both, Steve gave me the differences in the two models and answered all of my questions going forward. He kept in touch through email but did not overwhelm me with too many emails or phone calls. When I was ready (today, February27th), I contacted Steve through email and started the purchasing process. It was very smooth and everything was resolved within a few hours. They had the car ready for me to pick up the same day. At the dealer, Steve discussed the features of my new MINI with me in detail, making sure I understood how everything worked. When I met with Tina in the financial department, she was very friendly and helpful. I was able to split up my down payment and license/registration payment to make it easier on me. Everything was complete within a short period of time and I was very happy with how everything turned out. After being at the MINI dealer for about an hour, start to finish, I was ready to be on my way. This was an excellent car buying experience.

I have to say that I consider myself VERY lucky in that the pre-owned 2008 MINI Cooper that I purchased still had an extended maintenance warranty AND that I have MINI of St. Louis to take it to for service! My visit was very pleasant- from the moment that I pulled into the service bay and was greeted by one of the service techs to when I left the same service bay with a sparking clean car that had been washed and vacuumed after the oil change! Rick, the service manager was soooo helpful in going over all my needs and what was covered! Turned out EVERYTHING was! He took my keys and I was off to sit not only in the new MINI's in the showroom but in the well-equipped waiting area! There's a soda and snack machine nearby, but they also supply a healthy assortment of fresh fruit and hot beverages. (Very appreciated on a cold day like today!!) It's also neat to see Neil, the new car sales manager, walking through the dealership and Mary, the receptionist, is very warm and friendly with all the customers as we either pay for our bill or create our "wish list" from the MINI boutique! I was in and out of there within two hours (Had a lot on that scheduled tune-up!) and assured that it was done right! I think what impresses me the most is that MINI of St. Louis does not just sit back and settle for "okay" service given that they're the ONLY dealership within several hundred miles...they expect superior service from their employees and we receive it!

I had a great experience working with Neil when I purchased my Mini. He was friendly, knowledgeable and always responded quickly to my questions. I visited the dealership several times as I was trying to decide on how to build my Mini; Neil was very patient during the process and never tried to pressure me into adding features I didnt need. When I was trying to decide between buying a manual, which Id never driven before, or an automatic, Neil even took the time to go with me to show me how to drive a stick. I ended up going with the manual and am so glad I did! He also kept me updated while my car was in production. When it was time to pick up my car, Phil helped me since Neil had taken a different position with the company. Phil was very helpful and followed up with me shortly after I purchased the car to make sure everything was going well. He contacted me again for my one-year anniversary. This place doesnt forget about you once youve purchased your car, unlike some dealers.All in all, it was a really fun experience, and I absolutely love my car! You will definitely get great customer service here. Everyone is always so nice when Ive taken my car in to be serviced. I bought my car from Mini St. Louis and I always take it there for service. Everyone there was so nice and attentive. Each time I take in my car, I never have to worry about it. I know everything will be exactly perfect. The people are friendly and helpful, especially Rick. He always I listens to what I came in for and is never pushing for me to do "extra" stuff for my car. He always treats me like a person, not just another potential dollar. They knew why I was there and even reminded me of future maintenance work I would need to have done. I want to keep my MINI in tip top shape. I met the Service Manager Todd. He told me if I had any questions I could contact him. I have to say this is the best customer service I have received from any of the dealerships (not MINI) I have had to deal with in the past.

We own two MiniCoopers. They are excellent cars. Unfortunately, my wife's Mini suffered a catastrophic engine failure requiring a new engine under warranty. I cannt complain about any of the service, both Reliable BMW in Springfield and Mini of St Louis dealt with our problem in a professional. Dave who works at Mini of St Louis was especially helpful in arranging the pick up and return of the car. He kept me informed and went out of his way to make things right. I recommend them and appreciate their service... And we have a small snow storm here as a complicating factor. Thanks to Mini, best car I have ever had.

I chose such high ratings because every time I go into MINI's sales department Mark Eversgerd greets me with a big hug and a smile. He has a way of making people feel comfortable and really takes time to answer any questions. He truly wants a MINI owner to be happy with their purchase. I've bought two MINI's from him and wouldn't ever choose anyone else. My previous MINI was totaled and I had injuries from the accident. I called Mark and he immediately found me a car that matched the exact features he knew I wanted before I even arrived! Because of my injuries I wasnt able to drive the car home so he drove the car to my house. I do not know any other dealership that would even think of doing anything close to that. Mark isn't all about commission - hes about customer satisfaction. Even now he calls to check in and see how I am doing. I dont believe I will ever find a more genuine person in car sales and because of that I knew who to call after my accident because I was confident he would help me right away. I could go on and on :) The service department I chose a high rating because they have put up with a lot of "Amy crisis" from me and are ALWAYS friendly. Never once do I feel like I am burdening them with questions or when I call to check on my car. Excellent customer service and they always do their very best to explain to me what is going on. No matter how long one of my cars has been in the shop I dont worry because I know that the service technicians and managers are doing quality work and that takes time to do it right the first time. I love MINI of St. Louis. They are not people not wanting to push you into buying a car or putting you in a car and not caring if you come back or not. We have purchased 2 minis from here and both times with the salesmen Mark Eversgerd. We found him to be friendly, helpful, and very available. The service dept was also very helpful. Mark was the main rerason we bought our first mini which was a stick shift and when we decided we wanted an automatic we went back to him. He always made us comfortable even whe we had to have him show us the things we didn,t understand. We are both 70 and have a hard time with the technology part and he was very patient with us, going over and over things like the bluetooth, the radio connecting to Pandora and external devices. Whenever we had a problem we would call him and he would walk us through things over the phone. I wish all salesmen were this helpful.

The only word to describe my experience with Mini of St. Louis would be "Amazing." I've never had a dealership that was so willing to make everything work just the way the customer wanted. I had been searching online for a pre-owned vehicle and after doing some inquiries on trading in my current car for one available at Mini of St. Louis, I received a call almost instantly from Karen Fortune after I sent out the emails. Not only did she help make the deal work out for me to trade for such an awesome car, she went to great lengths to make sure everything was extremely stress free and not a hassle in any way. She was always available for contact when I had questions about the car, with very quick email/phone responses, and we were able to make the trade within a few days of me contacting them. This experience couldn't have gone any better. Part of my deal with the trade-in was to trade my stock wheels along with the aftermarket wheels. Due to the small car that I was trading in, and living 2 hours from the dealership, I wasn't able to bring up all 4 stock wheels/tires at once. Karen worked it out for me to be able to drop off the other 2 wheels on my way back through St. Louis the following Sunday, and Neil met me at the dealership when it was closed, just to make sure it all went right. We talked cars for a while, and then I was back on the road. During previous interactions with other car dealerships (NOT MINI OF ST LOUIS), I've sometimes felt as if the dealership was only working to benefit themselves---not the customer. This is NOT the way, in my opinion, to do business and attract more and more customers. My interactions with Mini of St. Louis were quite the contrary, and I have done nothing but speak in their outmost favor since the entire transaction took place. Thank you Karen and Neil for helping me get a trade done and into a sweet ride!

Mark is amazing. He took the time to get to know us, what we like and don't like, then made recommendations accordingly. He wasn't pushy or focused on up-selling. No gimmicks, no fuss, just fun honest information. Everyone we've encounter there has been extremely helpful, and the whole team is actually a team! When you walk in they ask if you are already working with someone and then help you find them. It's a refreshing break from other dealers where you feel like you're caught in a giant tug-of-war and having features you don't want forced at you. If you hate buying cars, try mini. You'll actually enjoy the experience and end up with a way better and more fun car!Service is just as great! Their waiting room is the best, and the whole team is understanding and there to help. We've had sudden concerns just before major trips and they were able to squeeze us in same day! One time, they did a quick check turned out the oil was low, so they topped it off - we scheduled an oil change for after the trip and they sent us on our way free of charge that day! No car dealer treats you like that, but Mini isn't like normal car dealers.

My wife love MINIs and she always wanted one. I live in Kansas City and I worked with local dealer and few other dealers in midwest. I was looking for lease and MINI website has $250 lease special. No dealer has offered that deal except MINI of St.Louis. Mark Eversgerd was totally honest and he first asked me to contact local dealer about the lease special which requires pre-order. I contacted and I found that they were not really interested in offering that deal. I thought it is not practical and MINI just advertise those kind of deals to attract or grab attention of people. I stopped looking and started thinking of some other car for my wife. Mark Eversgerd, followed up after a week and asked me if I got response from local dealer. He offered the deal and he was totally transparent about fees, taxes and everything. What ever he quoted, those were the numbers I saw while signing the lease. He was very nice to us and managed to get us a month free of payment. We drove to St.Louis and got the MINI and my wife was very happy. I should really thank Mark for all his help on find a lovely MINI for my wife.

My wife and I had already decided we wanted a Mini Convertible, used, not too many miles and had to be an automatic. We went in on a Saturday. Mark greeted us. We told him what we were looking for. He was up front and said they had no used convertibles, but as long as we were there, why not test drive a Mini with a sunroof.We came back totally in love with Mini's, but I had to tell Mark that as much as we loved the Mini we just drove, I had my heart set on a convertible and would eventually hate anything else (delayed buyer remorse syndrome).Mark excused himself for a minute. When he returned, he told us he had a 2007 Mini S convertible coming in Monday on a trade. It had automatic, tons of extras, was low mileage and we'd have to see it to believe it.We got a call Monday around noon from Mark advising us the car was in. Off we went. Drove the car, came back and made an offer. Mark checked with Matt and came back with an offer that split the difference.I still call it fate, but since last July, "Cooper" has become my all-time favorite car. At the age of 69, I've owned dozens of new and used cars. THE MINI ROCKS! So does Mark and Mini of St. Louis.

When I was new to MINI as a brand, Mark showed me exactly what made a MINI a MINI, and provided an excellent and professional buying experience. In fact, he converted me from big block 450+ hp vehicles to these little monsters - they're just too much fun!Fast forward another 18 months, and I've now purchased a third MINI (the newest also purchased from Mark) - two being John Cooper Works models (R52 and R60). Being very familiar with MINIs at this point, I knew exactly which build and options I wanted in my new Mini, but Mark provided clarity to my order and helped me fine tune my options. Once the order was placed, he continued to follow up with me from start to finish (and even helped me to make a few changes along the way).Matt McMillin, the sales manager at Mini STL, has always been extremely helpful and friendly - really going the extra mile to make sure I've been taken care of. From loaners to custom orders and requests, I doubt you can find a better sales manager out there than Matt!Also, as of last month, they have their new showroom open - it's FAR better than the little crammed space they used to have in Clayton. If you haven't been out to the new building, you really should take a trip - it's pretty cool.And I know... by this point, it kind of sounds like an advertisement, but I can assure you that it's just an actual representation my experiences. Mark and Matt have always ensured that I am completely satisfied with my purchases, and I would not hesitate to send friends and family to them and to the MINI brand in general.

This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Venturing into a unique car like the Mini, we were given the time & attention from Mark and the Mini staff to make the right decision. They worked long and hard to explain all the features and to pick out the car that best fit our needs. And all of this was done in a low pressure environment. The car and the service sold itself...there wasn't any need to push. My wife LOVES her Mini - both for the driving experience and the care she received. Let's go motoring!! I was welcomed, asked about any isseus that needed addressed and sent on my way with a loaner car. When I returned, they told me that they would keep the loaner available in case I wanted to leave again while they continued to work on my vehicle. Awesome service!! Very informative...these guys answered all of my questions without hesitation. I had one piece that was making a rattling noise...I thought it would be a simple fix...they looked at it and said they were not happy with just doing the simple fix and ordered a new part for me. Way better than I ever expected.

First of all, I too love my Mini Convertible! I had a great experience when I went to test drive it last October and it helped that it was very warm and I got to drive with the top down. I had looked at the Mini and drove it, then I stated that I want to have my husband come back with me to look at it for his input. Even though I came back with my husband, I was treated as the buyer and not the "wife/female" that another dealership had. This was going to be my car and I was the one who got the attention regarding it! I have also had great experience the 2 times I was at the service dept. for a warranty check up and the other for a small issue that was fixed while I waited. There I was treated with respect and the courteous that I expected as a customer. I loved the way my Mini looks when they get done - like brand new - clean & shinning. Almost can't wait to take it back for that alone! I enjoy my service experience and my Mini. Glad the weather is getting warmer cause my top is going down!!! Thanks for your efforts to all the staff. I recommend Mini of St. Louis.PS: I wish they were closer to Alton, IL so I didn't have to drive 45 mins., but then I wouldn't have an excuse to have lunch with my husband.

I purchased a car from the MINI dealership right at the time the recession had hit. I had been to several dealers with no real success in finding the right car for me. It seemed like all the salesmen wanted to do was play games, and they seemed to think since I was a girl I'd be too dumb to catch on. For example, one salesman tried to sell me a used car for more than the new car price. Another wouldn't go and check the price of the car I test drove unless I would agree up front that I was definitely buying the car. (Who agrees to buy a car when they don't know the price? I'm just sayin!) A third didn't have the advertised car on the lot, but he would sell me this other more expensive car -- aka ye old bait and switch. The MINI sales person, Karen Fortune, by contrast treated me like a person with intelligence, and didn't try any of these silly games. And when I expressed that I didn't really want a sunroof or racing stripes on my car, she took care of both things, offering me a customer loyalty discount to boot! She really wanted to sell me a car! Well that pays off, because I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again and when I buy a new MINI I will definitely try to buy it from Karen. Anyone who asks about MINI I tell them to look for Karen and tell her Renee sent you. If you are reading this, I think you should ask for Karen (and tell her I sent you)! MINI is a great car in general (no maintenance problems on mine in three years whatsoever) and Karen was just great. No silly games whatsoever, and she didn't treat me like I was some silly blond who doesn't know anything about buying a car! Not only that but I've had no maintenance issues on my MINI whatsoever in three and one-half years time. Thanks Karen!

My Mini needed regular service. I was able to make an appointment in the day I wanted and dropped off the car the night before. Rick called the next morning to tell me i needed new breaks. They also fixed something related to a recall I had just received a notice about two days before. They completed te work quickly and picking it up was a breeze.

Being that I am in Seattle and Steve is in St. Louis, it was a process that included many communications via email, over the phone and a few FedEx overnight packages later to make sure everything was taken care of, and in order. Yes, the staff is great, always friendly and helpful. The prices are in line with the rates at most dealerships. I do like the complementary cleaning.

Karen is the best car salesperson we have dealt with, period! In fact she is so good we bought 2 cars from her! A Mini Coupe and a Mini Countryman. She is friendly and honest and very helpful. She makes buying a car a fun experience! We knew what we had to pay upfront and she helped us track our mini as it was being built and shipped. We will be buying another car from her soon.

Recently, I stopped by the Service Dept. without an appointment to have my tires checked following a low tire light. I was greeted in a professional manner and was attended to immediately. Rick took the time to check the tires and light situation and then told me exactly what had happened and how to reset the light. I appreciate their interest in helping me maintain my car and making me feel that my concerns are important to them.

I drive 256 mi to have my Mini Coupe serviced by Mini of St Louis. Their exceptional level of work, ability to problem solve in a very efficient manner, and positive attitude keep me coming back! Might I add, Steve goes above and beyond to make sure everyone's experience is "the best" and definitely goes the extra mile to make sure one is content with their Mini at the end of their service. Steve personalizes ones experience and makes them feel like right at home with his honesty and diligence. Steve builds a great relationship with all customers/clients which allows one feel comfortable in their shoes and know they will be taken car of when Steve is on the job.

These people actually know their cars. They can talk intelligently about the technical aspects of just about anything pertaining to a MINI Cooper. Best service in town any time I have had to have any scheduled work done. We've had two of these cars so far - a Cooper and a Cooper S. Strongly considering trading in the Cooper S on the new Coupe, but the prospect of the diesel getting more than 60 mpg is really intriguing as well. We also have a VW Golf TDI so it'd be fun to compete the two diesels together and see which one is the best in the world. We live in Cape Girardeau or we'd be a pest most of the time at your dealership.

Things at MINI of St Louis are looking better then ever. They have a great new service manager, Steve. I met him when getting my MINI serviced. He saw to it that my visit was excellent. This was the best visit I ever had here. Hopefully with his guidance they will continue to get better and better and be the best! Thanks Steve and MINI of St Louis for a great Job!

My brand new Mini had an indicator on that a bulb was out. I drove to Mini Of St Louis and got there at just before 5pm today. They were closing for the holiday weekend. I spoke to Steve, and he had me pull in while Dave wrote up the paperwork. The techs were gone already, but the service manager, Steve, replaced a burned out reverse bulb for me himself!!! I was so thankful that even though they were closing, they still took care of the issue for me and saved me a trip back. Steve and Dave were the best ever!

I bought my MINI by using the BMW sales person Gerd Petermann. I have used Gerd in the past to buy a 740IL BMW. He has always been fantastic. The spare key had an issue and it took them 2 weeks to mail a new one to me. The MINI manager sent a $50 gift certificate with it. I was able to use that to purchase a MINI jacket. What a fantastic way to do business and keep buyers pleased with themI also had a maintenance issue right away. They had to wait for getting parts during the christmas holidays so they made sure that I had a brand new MINI to drive while I waited for the parts to come in. There was no issue with me keeping the car for ~ 10 days.If you need a MINI in the midwest, I highly recommend that you visit the St. Louis MINI dealer in Clayton.

This is what buying a new car should be like. No high pressure sales techniques, no deceptive, dishonest and pushy salesman and no unwanted expensive "extras" that your forced to buy. The salesman we spoke with was honest and clearly knew about driving a mini. Prices and payment options were up front. We weren't accompanied on the test drive, our guy even suggested that we take the car on the highway (which we did). When we were told that the base mini was good enough not to need many of the options and packages (we were talked out of a couple of expensive options) then we knew we were in the right place. Our salesman did not hesitate to look at what could be brought in (he wasn't concerned with making a sale then and there from only the invenotry on the lot) and he had no problem ordering us a custom built car, if that was what we wanted. We left the dealer smiling, not looking like we had just gone 10 rounds with a salesman.
