Same place as the old and busted "Morristown Ford." Only one star because I can't rate zero stars. Their repair shop replaced a good battery, misdiagnosed the fault, had us stranded in town overnight, and would not accept responsibility. I fixed the problem myself the very next morning in about 5 minutes. Check my BBB complaint for more info.

Bought a used car here in September. It has been hell since. When i call for previous work done to this car they ignore me. By far the worst experience buying a car there. The finance guy was amazing tho! He worked with me and I got a great deal! Just not good service from the service department.

We found a Nissan Frontier online at Morristown Ford. We live an hour and half away, so we called the dealership to make sure that there were no issues with the truck. We were told that it was in great shape and we should come on out to take a look at it. We were pre-approved with financing online, so everything was in line to load up 2 of our children and take the trip after work (we got there about 6:30). We got there and drove the vehicle and discovered that the service engine light was on. When I asked the salesman about it, he told me that it had already been through the service department and that it was probably just that the sensor needed to be reset. We went inside to work with financing. Joe, the "general manager" came over and told us that the truck had transmission problems and was actually on the wholesale list. Yet, it was on the lot, on all of the marketing websites, and the salesmen were actively trying to sell it. It also had the sticker on the window indicating a full maintenance check. Joe then told us about a F150 that would be in our same price range. We drove it around the lot, and it immediately started making grinding noises. We went a little further and it started making a terrible squealing sound. A salesman out on the lot told us that it was the brakes where it had been sitting a while. It wasn't even when I was hitting the brakes. Joe told us that he would have it go back through the service department. We left at closing time to drive an hour and half back home. A complete evening wasted.The next day, I called to find out what was wrong with the F150. Joe told me that it was in the shop getting everything fixed. It needed new brakes, new brake pads, and new rotors. We told him we would be back up there the following day (Saturday) to come and take a look at it and hopefully take it home. We called Saturday morning to make sure that the truck was out of the shop and everything was fixed on it. Joe told me again that it was and everything was set for us to come up there. He said that he was actually present for the maintenance being done, and made sure that it was all fixed. We went up there and the salesman came straight out and brought us the keys to the truck to test drive. He told us that there was a metal rod that was broken off and was rubbing making the squealing noise. (Completely different story than Joe had told us). We test drove it and put it in 4 wheel drive. After taking it out of 4 wheel drive, the back end locked up. We brought it back and took the salesman with us to an adjacent parking lot to show him what was happening. He agreed that something was wrong. We took it back to the dealership and he went in to get Joe. Joe was short with us, ignored the salesman and got in the truck and drove it to the same parking lot. The back in locked up on him as well. He continued testing it out for a few more minutes and brought it back and told us that something was definitely wrong with it and it was getting worse. It was now locking up with out putting it in and back out of 4 wheel drive. He had no other vehicles that could work for us and had nothing to say about the enormous inconvenience this had been. When we told him that that this was a terrible experience, all he could say was that he understood. Time wasted in driving: 6 hoursTime wasted at the dealership: 2 1/2 hoursMiles driven: 292.8The "general manager"/ owner/ inventory procurer has no basic business knowledge. The salesmen have no knowledge of the general mechanics of a car. The service department is clearly flawed when a vehicle goes through their department numerous times and put back on the lot with major mechanical failures. They are not fully inspecting vehicles when they get them in before putting them on their lot to sale. Not only was this a waste of time for my wife and I, but this was an enormous amount of time spent in the car for our children as well. More importantly than the waste of time, these people were willing to put my family at risk trying to sell us the 2 vehicles with major mechanical failures. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership. In fact, I would recommend that this business be shut down.

They are running a scam on their service jobs, always charging more for things that are not performed. For a simple oil change, you will pay at the end for other things that they didn't touch (tire rotation, fluid checks, etc).

I had been searching for a particular used car and I found it at Morristown Ford. I called and spoke to the internet salesman and of course he told me how great the car was. I asked about the tires and he said they were 70 percent. So my wife and I got up early on a Saturday morning to drive over 200 miles to get there to see this jewel. I had worked 2nd shift night before so I was going on 4 hrs sleep.When we arrived the car was fairly clean and drove ok, the tires were less than 30 percent. They refused to do anything about tires. We waited so long to get to finance, we finally made it. By the time we got there I was not at my sharpest going on 4 hrs sleep. First the finance guy had us paying about $4000.00 to much and he said they were having computer problems. He had an extended warranty in the deal and I asked him what the price was he looked my wife and I in the eye and said $850.00 I agreed and bought it. When I got home I realized that he had charged me $1750.00 and I had no warranty paperwork in my paperwork. I called Mr. Roberts and he admitted that he made a mistake and would fix it that it would take him 3 or 4 days. I never heard from him for 10 days. I called multiple times and magically he and all the other managers were always in a meeting or had just stepped out. I finally had to give a false name to get Mr. Roberts to the phone two weeks later. He then began to explain that their was nothing he could do, that the cost of the warranty was $850.00 and I had to pay full retail or cancel it. I said that I did not expect for them to give it to me but at least live up to what you told me. I said I would even pay $950 - $1000. to help them out, he said no. He explained that I could cancel and they would write a check for the full refund but that would not pay a partial refund. This makes no sense dealers have the power to do just about what they want! Basically they were trying to bully me into keeping the warranty. Oh by the way when I got home I discovered they had not even done a minimal safety inspection on the car, I had to spend over $1200.00 to get the vehicle road ready. Sorry that I bought here, Shame on me!

Beware. I purchased 2 vehicles from Morristown FORD on DECEMBER 3RD 2015. Neither of those vehicles have been paid off as of today January 19th. So the automatic payment for one of the cars I traded came out today due to their lack of follow through. The other car I traded in still has not been compltetely paid off. I also had to get an oil gasket fixed on the used vehicle I purchased from them 2 weeks after I bought it, and have had to have the new vehicle serviced. I told them the day I came in I had just moved to Tennessee and wanted to find one dealer I could trust to make all my future purchases through, to have my cars serviced at, and to be my dealership to trust. They earned my trust at first, I was fooled. Please don't let it happen to you.

My husband traded in a 1999 Ford F-250 on a 2008 Ford F-350 on Novmeber 10th. On November 17th, he found that underneath the bed of the truck was completely rusted. He called them and they said to bring it in and they would "make it right". They said they would buy back the 2008 F-350 and then sell him a brand new 2015 F-350 at cost. What they really meant was "at cost" plus $10,000 carried over from the rusted out 2008 F-350 that they sold him the week before. And they also wouldn't give him any trade-in value for his original truck (1999 F-250) that he traded in. They said they couldn't because that was from the "other deal". But they sure could carry over $10,000 in "negative equity" for the piece of junk they originally sold us from the "other deal." The salesman. Tom O. misrepresented the truth and the sales manager, Sam was absolutely no help whatsoever. They are only concerned with making money. My husband walked in there on 11/10/15 with no vehicle debt and a week later has $10,000 in negative equity on a vehicle. They do not care about the customer.

This dealership has had good reviews, but has changed ownership as of September 2015. It is not the same place. I had a very unfavorable experience that I feel like I need to share with everyone buying a car there. I have never been taken advantage of so easily in all of my life.I purchased a Ford truck with a rebate that I was not given credit for, and I was sold a warranty that I did not want. I responded to an advertisement for a 2015 Ford F250 XL on cars.com. This truck included $4000 in rebates and additional dealer discounts to the sale price of $38,758.00. I qualified for an additional $1500 in rebates and asked if they would apply this to the truck and they agreed. The owner of the dealership was also the finance manager and worked me through the paperwork. By the time they finally got me into the office, I was exhausted and still had to drive 4 hours to meet my family. He was very good at distracting me and showing me so many numbers that I was confused and believed what he said. He said that I was getting my rebate applied to the discounted price of the car. Then he showed me a form with monthly payments on it. Each one of them was for a different tier of extended warranty. I told him I did not want anything but the basic factory warranty, and he asked me to sign next to the payment that was the lowest. This is where he sold me a $4000 warranty that I did not want. It was not until I got home and had a good nights sleep that I was able to look at the contract and see how I was cheated.

Monday Sept 14 I took my 2005 freestyle to be put on diagnostics. Guy came out told me it was throttle body needed be replaced he gave me the bill which was 854. So I say I'll go ahead pay for the diagnostics which was 89 plus tax and I'll go home get the rest of it the money and be back to pay the rest of it. Service guy says you have to pay for the part before we can order it. So I call my husband it's his car his money. He says go ahead get money and pay it. Service guy tells another employee to go with me wouldn't let me pay the diagnostics. Really this is bad business. I should've opened my mouth but I was trying to do what my husband said to do. So this guy drives me in my vehicle to my house to get the money I don't even owe them yet. I had to tell him put on your seat belt . Then we turn on my road I say turn in first driveway on left. He starts to turn first driveway on right. I say no the left up here. He's like ok sorry serves to avoid hitting my neighbors mailbox on the right then he's backing out of my driveway going down a one way street. I'm like no this is one way I'm totally upset at this point in time. We get back to ford place I'm told to go pay the money before I can get my keys so I go to pay the 854 bill has now went up to 940. Then I'm told we hadn't added taxes yet. I only bought 900 with me so I'm told I have to pay 840 and bring another 100 today sep 15 to pay for labor. I had already paid for one hour but they said diagnostics was the other hour. So the more I thought of how they treated me the madder I got I only owed 89 plus tax I didn't need nobody coming home with me that was bad busines. So this morning I called general manager told him what happened he said we do that cause people don't come back and pay I would've done same thing. Really that upsets me people only have to pay for diagnostics they can have anybody they choose to fix their car. I told him about Guy driving my car and almost hitting mailbox he said if my guy was driving we would've took care of it. His guy had no business with my keys I asked for my money back all but the diagnostics cause that's all they did he said no once part is paid for you can come get it and let somebody else put it on but you cannot get your money back that is not right so I to pay another 89 plus tax for labor today to get part put on that took 30 minutes. But I will never go back to the morristown ford. That was a horrible experience I called ford motor company and was told it was privately owned nothing they could do about except let ford know. I also told bbbb about it. I have never been treated like that anywhere. I just wanted to make people aware.

A young man by the name of Michael welcomed me to Ford, Told him I was looking and not sure what I really wanted. He left me to look at cars and told me if I needed him to let him know. Right at that moment I liked him I did not feel pressured. Long story short I wanted some info on a car and went into the dealership with him then I seen it---my future car--. Got the info I requested and went home and read it.Next day I went back to see Michael lucky for me he was there and I thanked him for not following me around like a puppy like some dealerships did that I went too. Just wanting to tell my experience with Morristown Ford, I purchased an auto in 2013, and the car was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned Auto was suppose to be a great car, never been wrecked, one owner according to the salesman that we purchased the auto from. In 2014 I decided to trade my car in for another auto at another Ford dealership, and discovered that this auto had indeed been wrecked and sustained about 3,800 worth of damage to the front end in 2012. I have made contact with Morristown Ford about this and they say they never knew about this accident, they never buy wrecked cars, and so on, and that if I would have traded with them instead of another dealer they could have helped me on this but because I went elsewhere they could not help me. I just want to let you know what happened to me so that maybe no one else makes the mistake of buying a Used or Certified Pre-Owned without thoroughly checking into that cars history. I was told by the manager that I could go after and sue the company they had purchased the auto from, but as I told him I bought the car from Morristown Ford, I believe they should be responsible for the autos they sell. I have always been a very trusting person, and have been a customer of Morristown Ford for over 19 years, needless to say I will never purchase another auto from Morristown Ford.

We hate to buy a car. Dread the whole process. We went and looked and found one we wanted to test drive. Weather wasn't great so we didn't get to drive it much. That night they offered to let us take the car overnite. This made us feel very trusted and in return made us trust in them. We dealt with Chuck Hunt the sales manager. He had some of the other sales people help us out as well. After driving the car we decided to buy. We gave him all our info before coming back to the dealership. We had a few concerns and they were taken care of on the spot. we were in and out in an hour and half! Most times it takes hours to buy a car!!! They went over all the features of the car and showed us how to use them as well. Best experience we have ever had!!!!

I HATE the whole car buying process and when my husband told me he wanted a new truck, I was dreading the search. We did go through the typical process with another dealership and were pretty aggravated and my husband said he was going to call an out of town dealership. I thought, "I don't know why, they're all the same." I was wrong. Chuck Hunter, the sales manager assured us that he would work with us personally to see if he could earn our business and that we wouldn't have to go through the whole back and forth process of having the salesperson run back and forth to a manager that we weren't allowed to speak to. He assigned a salesperson to us but stayed right with us through the whole process. I felt like we were treated honestly and fairly by ALL of the personnel there. The absolute most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. We will be recommending this dealership to all of our friends! Thank you Morristown Ford!

this is my third Mustang I have bought from Morristown Ford. while I know that all car dealerships have to make a profit I always feel like morristown ford is honest and upfront with what they tell me. they have always been honest in telling me I invoice prices and not trying to jerk me around but give me the best upfront. I enjoyed working with Morristown Ford. The sales girl Kelsey was there only 3 weeks and was as helpful as she could be being a new employee. Anything we asked she found out for us if she didn't know. It took a long time to get an answer from the banks but Chuck got us the answer as timely as he could. We were there for approximately 6 hours. The finance man John helped us decide what we needed to do. The only thing I was disappointed with is we only got 1 key to the car and had to buy another. Actually they will let us know tomorrow if they might have one. There was a spill of paint on the right side door that someone tried to touch up and I don't like the looks of it. I pointed it out to Kelsey but she gave us ideas on how to get it out. I thought I should have gotten some kind of specs on when the last oil change was done, as well as all fluids, etc. but did not. I also asked John in finance when the old loan we had that the dealer would pay off would be done and he said from 10-15 days maybe sooner. I would have liked a more definite answer. Overall all things considered the staff did an excellent job making us feel comfortable and all were very kind. We were told the car would be topped off and when we left it wasn't and we had to come back.

I purchased my Ford Escape at another dealership and was VERY disappointed in the job performance and attitude of sales people . I f we had not already agreed to purchase the car we would have walked out . Also if we had realized we had 30 days in which we could have returned the car we WOULD have returned it. Morristown Ford has been extremely gracious about answering my questions , being attentive to my concerns and agreeing to service my car even though it was purchased at another dealership. My husband and I wish we had dealt with Morristown Ford from the " get go" . I would highly recommend Morristown Ford to anyone needing service on their Ford or looking to purchase a Ford product.

Contacted them by e-mail, they contacted me back the nest day. My wife and I feel we got a good deal on a 2014 Mustang. Everyone at the dealership was very nice, polite and did everything they could to help us out. The owner was driving the car we wanted, the went and got it, washed and waxed it, and gave me a good deal on it. Our salesman was great and they got us a great interest rate. Would recommend them when purchasing a car. I read a bunch of bad reviews and was unsure, but after my experience I find it hard to believe the bad ratings I read. So speaking from my experience I would give them an A+.

We were looking for our son a first car. Found the exact car we wanted online at Morristownford.com so I gave them a call. The salesman I worked with was Harold Rose. Harold was a great person to work with, everyone was very nice and from the Sales Mgr. to the Finance person. I feel I got a good deal on the Mustang, wish I could have got it for 10k but I know that not realistic, So that being said, I was happy with my deal. In the future will call on them again for my future purchases. Go by and ask for Harold, although we have the same last name he is not kin to me. Thanks Morristown Ford for making my16 years old son the happiest boy on earth. Love my ford, I now have a 2014 Mustang, 1987 Mustang GT, 2010 Ford F150 Supercrew, 2008 Lincoln MKZ, and a 2008 Ford Focus in my garage. THiNK I LIKE FORDS!!!!

I liked Celeste in customer service at first, when she was very friendly during my first two visits in there. But the service tech who did my work the last time didn't do all the things he should have. To change the coil, plugs, and wires in my van they removed the hood. When the job was completed, the mechanic didn't reconnect my windshield washer supply tubes at all. I couldn't figure out how to do it, and had to drive 45 miles back to the dealer to have it fixed. I was not happy.I told her yes, I know little things get missed, ok - it happens. When I complained to Celeste that the worker had failed to properly reconnect everything he took loose, she could have cared less. I also told her that 'good service' should include bothering to air up the nearly flat tire I had when I pulled in (I had told her the low tire light was on) Her excuse was: "we didn't tell him about that." THAT IS RIDICULOUS. So overall they had absolutely no concern about their mistakes at all, and pretty much acted like it was my fault. It didn't matter that I had to return to the dealer to have THEIR mistake corrected. And when I got there I was treated like I was a bother - especially by the customer service department - for bringing it to their attention. I PAID ALMOST $700 total to Morristown Ford for this simple job, cause I wanted it done right. Little did I know that it would be done poorly, with a simple thing like a low tire completely ignored, and the vehicle not returned to me without things being checked out by the mechanic AND customer service. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I am a hard sell, I do not like a pushy salesman. Marc, our salesman, was perfect. He allowed me to do the talking and took a lot of time to explained everything to us. After they delivered our vehicle, I discovered another I liked better but was afraid I could not handle the amount. Lance, the sales manager saw that I was not happy, called us into his office and made sure I got my dream car. Thank you Lance you are truly the best. In fact my daughter purchased the same vehice in a different color. I could not believe I finally got what I wanted and do not want to stop driving it. I bought a 2000 Mustang GT Convertible and have no problems with the car but Lance Ferguson the Sales Manager and Tony Rodriguez the General Manager are not the kind of men that should be involved in making decisions for a good dealership. I agreed on max out of pocket no financing out the door price for the car and due to their incompetance i had to pay more taxes when I arrived back in Georgia! When I called to explain my situation to Lance he told me that Tony said that they paid the taxes that were required according to law. and they could not do anything about it. Well I think that they lost a good review for bad customer service over $265 on a $10,275 sale of a vehicle. pretty crappy I think.

ON AN E MAIL FROM MORRISTOWN FORD I GOT A QOUTE OF 28,000 ON NEW TRUCK . I GET THERE AND HE WRITES DOWN 29,000. THAT KILLED IT RIGHT THEN AND THERE. I AM A 20 YEAR RETIRED FROM THE USAF. I WAS ASKED IF I WAS A DISABLED VETERAN AND I AM NOT SO I TOLD THEM SO. A DISCOUNT WOULD OF BEEN GIVEN IF I WAS. THAT IS NICE TO OFFER TO THOSE MEN AND WOMEN BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER VETERANS WHO SACRIFICED 20 PLUS YEARS. FOR THE RECORD A DISABLED VETERAN DOES NOT HAVE TO OF BEEN IN COMBAT. I WAS THINKING OF TRADING IN MY 96 FORD TRUCK AND WAS TOLD IF IT WAS A 98 I WOULD QUALIFY FOR ANOTHER DISCOUNT.
