Below is my original post & addendum with an example of why you should shop elsewhere. ORIGINAL: Great experience! I got my dream car for the best price available. Jeff Farrah is a maverick salesperson so make sure to ask for him to get the thunder deals! AMENDED: I have to revise my previous post. See below for my latest experience & DO NOT purchase any Napleton plan for free services. The service department here is a joke. They do a great job selling you the vehicle but everything falls apart afterward. LATEST EXPERIENCE: First, I booked an oil change at 1:15pm. When I arrived, I overheard a service rep explaining to another customer that the appointment time was actually just a guesstimate & that other customers may actually get in line before her. The time-frame for an oil change was about 2 hours so I figured I might as well get my wheels rotated & balanced, tire pressure evened-out and that I would try to take advantage of the free car wash, so I agreed to wait since I live about 45 minutes away from the dealership. After 3-1/2 hours, I decided I better go check on my vehicle. At first, everyone seemed confused & couldn't locate my paperwork/vehicle. After about 10 minutes, they pulled up with my vehicle and checked me out. Initially, I noticed that the car was not washed. I've brought my car in about 5 times now to take care of a noise that still remains unresolved & they've only washed it once even though I request it every time. But I didn't care; I was ready to go. As I was driving home, I noticed that the pressure in my tires was still off on every single wheel even though I specifically requested that they all be set to the correct PSI since it's winter. I called into the service department and asked if setting the pressure was standard for a rotate & balance. After I was told yes, I said I needed someone to credit me because my pressure was still wildly off which led me to believe they didn't do anything with my vehicle at all. The gentleman asked me to hold and I hung up after holding for 25 minutes.

The process was a lot faster than my last experience. They had the car I wanted for a good price. It looked to be in great condition and drove smooth. It's everything I wanted in a car and felt confident in my purchase. Nate was my sales guy and I liked that I could have casual conversation with him. Stiff conversation always makes an uncomfortable situation worse and buying a car is a very uncomfortable situation for most. Nate made sure that I was at ease and wasn't pushy. I had decided that Labor day was the time to finally buy the car of my dreams. I have been looking at the Plum Crazy Challenger since it come out. I had talked to other dealers but no one wanted to deal. I saw the advertisement for the labor day sale and went looking to buy. I can not say enough good things about everyone there. Tex Clark was my salesman and he treated me very well. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. A couple of days after the sale I have had a few questions and he is still very helpful. The finance guy Tom Peters, went the extra mile and I got the terms I needed to get the deal done. Through out the whole experience the General manage Frank Shaffer made sure that everyone was treating us great and if we had any questions. They also fed us pizza while we waited for everything to get finished. This was my 4th new car and I have to say it is the first time I walked away feeling great about my purchase and the whole dealer experience. If you are looking for a new vehicle I highly recommend Ed Napleton's Mid Rivers and ask for Tex.

I purchased three vehicles from this dealership over the last 10 years. Alternator went out in a car I bought from them. Tried to schedule service and they were unable to find an appointment that was earlier than SIX WEEKS out. No car for six weeks??? Get another mechanic!!!! Really? I found another dealer 15 miles away that could provide service within 3 days.

This is an update to a previous review I did about leaving Service out of Customer Service; I couldn't figure out how to leave it in response to that review. I was contacted immediately after the Service Manager found out about the unsatisfactory experience I had. He was very apologetic and offered to immediately remedy my concerns. At my convenience they picked up my van, leaving me a loaner vehicle, and performed all service that was previously lacking. They also washed it and topped off the gas and returned it before the end of my work day.I'm still not exactly sure why I wasn't treated this way initially, maybe the service rep was having an off week or maybe I wasn't 100% clear on my expectations. Either way I am very pleased with the resolution and couldn't be happier with the van I bought from these guys and the deal I received. I would now recommend this dealer and plan to give them another shot with my next service need.

Attempted to book an appointment to look into a urgent issue with my car. Service department just hung up on me not once but twice. Very discourteous and rude behavior. Kept on being transferred between one department to another. Once I had to wait 4 days for a diagnostic on a potential transmission issue only to be told it was spark plugs. Wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone! Avoid!

Buying a used 2013 Town & Country was a pretty straightforward experience at Napleton; however, the followup service has been some of the worst I've ever experienced. I found that this "Certified" van had a very noticeable vibration during my test drive and it was later determined that the front rotors needed to be replaced and the rears resurfaced. There was only one keyfob, the other having gone MIA and they agreed to get a 2nd one for me. Not a huge issue but the Oil Change indicator flashed while the windshield sticker showed it had recently been changed so they agreed to reset the indicator while it was in for service. At that point, while I was concerned that a certified vehicle could pass certification with rotors warped so badly that they needed to be replaced, (looking back I should have known then what I was in for with the service group) I was happy with what was agreed to, to make things right.I dropped the vehicle off on a Thursday morning, it was during this initial service that it was determined the front rotors would need replacing. Thursday evening I was told that they would need it another day; okay I thought, they just couldn't get to it today. On the plus side, they'd given me a rental which I could keep another day. However, after not hearing anything all day on Friday, I called late in the afternoon to find out that they were unable to locate parts and had done nothing to my vehicle. Since I was going out of town for the weekend and needed the Van to haul my family, I had to pick it up and reschedule.On Wednesday of the next week I was able to get it back in assured that all parts were available. They again provided me a loaner and this time called that afternoon to let me know that everything was done and I could come pick it up. When I arrived at the dealership, I was first handed the keyfob. While it should have been just like the other, after all it's certified and i was assured a certified vehicle will have two keyfobs, this keyfob did not have the physical key, much less one that was cut for my vehicle as I had expected. Upon questioning I was told, the key is not all that useful anyway, mainly just to enter the vehicle if the battery dies. What? That's totally beside the point, the point is they didn't give me what they told me they would. Next I looked at the invoice, I noticed that while the front rotors were indeed replaced, there was no mention of the rear ones being resurfaced. I know I should have complained but I really couldn't take anymore excuses and just wanted to get out of there expecting that the fronts being replaced would have taken care of the vibration. Then of course, when I got in the vehicle and started it, there was the oil change indicator still going off. The one positive, the vibration has gone away.I am fairly new to the area and not tied to anyone for my service. This was the opportunity for these guys to win a potential lifelong or at least a long lasting customer. Instead of going the extra to try to ensure that, or even just giving me what was expected, they tried to save a few dollars. Who knows how many of my future dollars they may have lost because they wanted to save a few bucks.

I have taken my Jeep Wrangler to the service department to get my oil changed, the first time i took it in i got a appointment and when i got there they said i did not have an appointment and they could not work on it. i went to another dealership they did it for me while i waited. the next time i need the oil changed i thought it was a fluke so i tried them again this time i need the oil changed, the engine light was on, oil sensor, and a state inspection. I got my car there early, waited a few hours, called them to find out how my car was doing, no one knew at about closing time i got a call that they would have to keep it overnight and work on it in the morning. i finally got it back the next night at closing time, without getting the state inspection because they forgot. i will never go back.

Matt was my sales rep. He was very friendly and kind. He explained everything to me on my new Grand Cherokee. While I waited for my car to be cleaned up several other sales reps stopped and talked to me, just to help pass the time. I did not meet anyone at Napleton that was not considerate to me.

I love how everyone worked together and quickly to get me approved for what I actually wanted, especially with my very limited credit. Nobody forced me into anything I didnt want. Sales representative was extremely courteous, attentive, curious about our wants/needs, polite, and aggressive for us. All personnel displayed most of the same attributes. Sales rep also introduced everyone and showed us the entire dealership and explained how things worked. Great experience not usually found in an extremely competitive market.

I would not recommend purchasing a new vehicle from Napleton. Though the buying process was good and the initial servicing was good. The dealership has gone through a major change in how it deals with it's customers. Probably to save money. They don't have the staff they had so you can no longer get an oil change without scheduling days in advance. And if you have any recall issues, they will not work on your car on a Saturday. Y9u can only get it worked on Monday through Friday. The service department use to take care of you but that is no longer the case. For this reason I would highly recommend you purchase your car elsewhere.

made appointment to buy a truck and was 2 hours in my 2 1/2 hour drive to get there (as I had told them on the phone, talking to them all the way there) and was told the truck was being driven. then was told the truck was no longer available for sale. This was all before my appointment time. I called the sales manager, the general sales manager, and the dealership general manager. All different stories. The general manager Frank sounded sincere and guaranteed me that he would find me another truck and "make it worth my while" if I would come back and give them another chance. He hasn't taken my calls since and now doesn't respond to my emails. WOW! very disappointed by this experience and waste of my day off and gas money. never had anything like this happen to me before.

I drove from Memphis TN to get 2014 Durango. They had given me a good price on my Honda as well for trade in. They took care of my interests as promised and no typical dealer BS. I was actually very impressed by their clean handling top to bottom; and surprised as well because I've never experienced that before ever at any dealership. I thought that I had driven from miles away and a typical dealer would love give me hard time because I was at a little vulnerable position; which obviously they didn't do at all. Based upon my experience, I would highly recommend this dealership.

We purchased our Town and Country van from Mid Rivers. We had decided which van to select after viewing the inventory at a number of dealerships. We waited over an hour to "check out" and, when finally in the office, the woman acted as if she was doing us a favor to buy the van. Really? It was an all cash deal. Never again. When we finally finished, the dealer hadn't preped the car and we wound up drilling the holes for our front license plates ourselves. Never again.
