Was going to put in a great review until I found out they send us to collections because of our renaming down payment amount we owed, when the time came I had called, left messages and even went face to face to the office many times with the money for our down payment in hand, but nobody knew what my exact amount owed was and the time the finance manager who helped was out of town so nobody knew what was going on, but they didn’t want to accept the money because they didn’t know the exact amount owed. So we left and hoped to get a call Back soon to make the payment.. Now we come to find out that they send us to a collection agency and on top added collection fees because we “never made the payment” we did our Part and attempted to communicate with them many times, feel like it’s so unfair due to the fact that they have very poor communication with their clients, they never bothered to called me, never returned my voice mails when I requested them, no emails or anything and just like that they send us to collections!! very disappointed with their entire team who never was able to help resolve or provide any information or simply tell me what my balance was.. would not recommend very upset about this. 👎👎

Mike in Murray helped get us into a brand new Toyota Highlander and we absolutely love it! They were so professional and helped to find us what we were looking for and kept it within our price range! Everyone was so friendly and they weren't your typical pushy sales men and women! They took their time to listen to what we wanted and they took our opinions into consideration to find us the best vehicle! We will continue to shop here in the future and send everyone that we know to this dealership!!!! They are awesome!!!

By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. Mike and Steve you guys are great. No pressure just a great honest experience. Mike walked us through everything from finding the car, test driving and purchasing a car. He was very honest and straight forward and helped my son understand everything about the process. If you looking for a car go to NAP in Murray you will walk away happy.

Going in for your first car should be an excitement. Well that was a different experience for me. I worked with Parker the sales agent and from the start I realized it was going to be xxxx. Thank god for my brother who knows about deals and cars. I understand they need to make their money but don't sell a car you know isn't even ready to be sold. I recommend to do 100% check on your car and make them sign a form of all the work they agree to do. Cause once they get their money your gum under their shoes.... Horrible horrible experience

Bought my GMC 2009 Acadia in June and I love the car. The buying process was quick and painless! They gave me a lot for my trade in and my payments are so reasonable. The car is a beauty! However, I did run into 2 Catalytic Converter problems with the car a few weeks later..which is a bummer... but it happens. It's a used car after all! NAP in Murray took care of it! They had me go to Master Muffler in Sandy and they are going to handle the billing and cost which is looking to be around $1,000. Thanks NAP in Murray! I'm getting it taken care of this weekend :). By the way, Cody is awesome, super friendly and nice sales guy. He's been awesome answering all my texts and getting this all set for me.

I went in and dealt with Chris whom was very helpful and very friendly. He was straight up with me about cars I inquired about as to if they were junk, had a lot of problems, not priced right, too many miles...etc. Now I know there are some bad reviews of Chris on this page but I can't help but wonder if the individuals writing these simply wanted too much for far too little and when they were not catered too they wrote a bad review. I say this because Chris and Joe made sure everything on the vehicle was running right before they let me take delivery. They sent it to their mechanic and fixed everything my wife and I asked them to with no hassles and since it ended up taking the a couple of days they gave us a vehicle off the lot to use so we would have a vehicle. They also sold me the vehicle at below blue book. They were awesome and bent over backwards to assist me in buying the vehicle. All I have to say is go in and see for your self. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Very dishonest company. I bought two vehicles from them at the same time a mini and a CRV. I specifically asked if either vehicle had any issues or if either one had been wrecked. They looked me in the eye and said no. Here is the break down litterally. A month down the road and days of arguing I got them to pay BMW to trouble shoot the issue. I had to have a timing chain, tensioner arm, and water pump replaced on this vehicle. It was covered under there 3 month 3000 mile warrenty but still cost me $500 out of pocket for the deductible. 2 months later the park brake stopped working on the CRV and it developed a small front shudder when hitting the brakes. According to them this was caused by driving with the park brake on. The park brake only engages on the rear so how does it warp front rotors? They refused to fix the issue and wanted to charge over $400 to fix it so I took it else where to find out that after 2 months and less then 500 miles from purchase it needed all 4 new rotors, all 4 sets of brakes, and new park brake shoes at a total of $600. They illegally certified the safety inspection. It gets even worse. Now 4 months after purchase on the same vehicle with brake issues I am getting a warning saying fault with airbag system. STUPID STUPID ME didn't get a car fax so I decided to pay for one. Low and behold it has been in 2 accidents has frame and severe body damage. Now I am looking at another $2000 to fix this issue so it can pass safety next year. They perform illegal safety inspections then leave you high and dry to repair and will blatantly look you in the eye and lie to you about vehicle history. I am reporting this to the DMV. I am meeting with the manager in two days and will update based off outcome.

they sold my dad a car that they knew had been totalled and "forgot" to tell him that. He asked about an extended warranty but was told he didnt need one because it was still under manufacture warranty ( even though they knew the previous massive wreck had voided the warranty) when he called them to see if they would make it right by letting him trade it for something else ... he cant get past a secretery and gets hung up on. Shady dealership.

After 4 days and 8 hours of time spent at the sandy national auto plaza they were not able to get a deal done, every time they found a car that they were "sure would work" it didn't. And the whole 3000 more for you're trade in, ya that 3000 gets added to the vehicle you're trying to purchase lol. I guess they thought they could wear me down, nope. They tried to get me to sign a contract on vehicle that needed MAJOR repairs before the repairs were made, guess they thought I was stupid. Go to LHM used car supermarket, much better, honest experience, these guys are xxx clowns.

This place is every used car salesman's stereotype rolled into one. Super shady and dishonest. The salesman that took our trade in said he knew our transmission was about to die but he was going to sell it anyway and let the next people deal with it. "Not my problem." They use every tactic in the book to increase their bottom line. Customer service is great, until they get what they want. Otherwise, they turn rude and aggressive. We had a problem with a car they sold us just the day before and the plaza manager told us, "look, we only care about the numbers." They'll charge you for everything they possibly can.Do NOT trust these people.

We purchased a used Diesel Truck and also purchased the GAP for protection. Before our first car payment the head gasket needed to be replaced which was not covered by GAP and very expensive to repair. In the past I have purchased used vehicles from other dealers and it was just my problem if something went wrong as soon as I drove the vehicle off the lot. NOT THE CASE... with National Auto Plaza at the Murray, UT location. This is a true story!! They paid for the repair. We were in total shock. The people involve was the salesman Shawn, Charles & Joe. WE WILL BE BUYING MORE VECHICLES WITH THEM IN THE FUTURE!!! Thanks so much!!!

We walked in and told them exactly what we wanted and we got exactly that. No pushing us around or trying to get us into something we couldn't afford. They gave us 4 brand new tires and replaced all our hoses, plus fixed a few more things. When we brought it home the check airbag light came on, once we called them someone actually came to our house to check it out. Thought that was awesome. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a used car. They also matched our deposit!

Simply put, do not buy a car from this dealership. I purchased a vehicle and 7 days later; transmission gone. It has been in the shop at least one a month and now, the vehicle has been sitting, inoperable, in my driveway for 6 months. All the while I'm paying the car payment and battling with these crooks to fix the piece of crap they sold me. Trade it in? Not even a possibility! DO NOT GO TO NATIONAL AUTO PLAZA.

Very great at selling me a car... but I asked for new tires since the car had bald tires and they promised me but conveniently said they never promised any such thing. Then they also promised that if I sent people in to buy a car that they would give me 500.00 dollars and now they are saying I only get 250.00 which I have yet to see. the company is great to deal with as long as they don't promise you anything.

The bear advice I can give you is go somewhere else. They do not inspection the cars sell cars they know won't last long and will lie to get you into a car. I don't know how this place is still open and hopefully you read these reviews. They asked me to lie to the bank told my friend who was there with me that they have a guy who will pass cars that should in no way be passed. I took there car back and went somewhere else.

They said if you buy a car, you get a free iPad mini. I bought the car didn't get the iPad. I also over paid $5000, more For the car than it worth. They told me I was getting a good and I was stupid enough to believe them. The car has lots of problems. When I ask Chris about the iPad, he made up excuses, I told him about the problems with the car and he hung up on me.How classy is that he hung up on me. If I did that at my job I would get fired. Please what ever you do don't buy a car from them and never deal with Chris.

We first bought a 2004 Ford F250 from the Murray lot back in 2010. It was December and we wanted to think about buying for a few weeks. We were pressured to buy before Dec 31st so they could meet their quotas. The only time we could get there was on Dec 31st at night. We live 150 miles away. We liked the truck they wanted to show us. It had low miles and was in good shape. When we got home we noticed a big dent in the side. We decided it wasn't worth the time or money to travel the 150 miles to have them fix it, so we dealt with it on our own. In April of 2014 we needed car, so we decided to try them again. We went online and found a car in our price range, and sent an inquiry. Sergio from the Sandy office contacted us. We had them run our credit and asked him if the car we liked would give us a $250 or less monthly payment. He would never give a straight answer and just said to come in. We didn't want to drive that far and not be sure, so we decided to go with the Murray office. We dealt with Chris there. We told him we wanted a $250 or under payment and show us only what will give us that. He showed us a 2012 Ford Fusion. our payment is only a little over what we wanted, so we were ok. I got to the gas station to fill up and my radio didn't work. I called Chris he said to come back and they would look at it. Of course he couldn't fix it. He said to take it to our local Ford dealership to have it "Reset" . I also called him on my way home to let him know the alignment was way off. He said to come back when their service dept was open. The Ford dealership had to replace the entire radio. I got the car back after a week the alignment got really bad and the power steering went out. I called Chris and fought with them to pay for it, but I had to take it to them so they could then take it to a Ford Dealership. I had to drive 150 miles with no power steering. 2 weeks later when I picked the car up and got to the gas station I noticed the tail light was broken. I called Chris who said we will have to discuss it with the service dept. We called and left messaged and they never responded. Then a few months later on one of the tires the side wall seperated. We found out they were bum tires and had to buy all new tires even though the tread looked good. I will never to business again. As soon as I can I will be trading this car in.

To start with this review is for the South Towne location. I purchased an automoblie from this location a few years back and was told that finacing was all taken care of. Two weeks later I get a letter in the mail from them telling me I need to return the car because finacing never went through. I should not have been able to leave the lot if there was a problem with finiancing. Very unprofessional. They informed me that I could keep the car if I come up with another $5K, that was out of the question so I walked away. Plus they made me pay $500 for using the car for two weeks. Febuary of 2014 they had a car on their lot that I wanted and this paticular car is hard to find, so against my better judgement I bought another car from them. This time around was no different, 498 miles later the engine gave out and needed replacing. I fought with them to get it fixed and after a long time and a lot of arguing I was able to get the engine replaced. It took three weeks and I had to pay part of the cost. It was my only transportation and they would not set me up with a loaner or renter. In addition to this they came back a month and a half later and wanted more money cause they said my trade in was not worth as much as they originally had told me. Again very unprofessional. I guess I got what I deserved for doing business with them a second time. Don't expect them to return any of your phone calls, I left two messages with one of the finance people named Ozzy and he never took the time to call me back. They took me for alot of money. I've been cheated and lied to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, I PROMISE, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Me and my wife went by to look at cars because she needed a new car. Didn't have good enough credit. They pushed us to find a consigner. I told him our max monthly payments we could afford was $300. Left that day. My wife went back a few days later with her aunt to cosign. She came home with a 2012 $20,000 car with $300 a month payments which are now $400 a month. They let my wife leave the lot with an empty gas tank. The car made grinding noises in the front end. Took it back to them. They couldn't find anything wrong. Took it to Ken Garff. It has been on a frame jack to straighten the frame. Lower control arm is bent. And the alignment is way out. That's just the beginning of the problems. We have to fix that before they can tell what the grinding noise is. Horrible business. Worst experience by far. I will never go there again and will steer everyone away from there.

We went in to buy a RELIABLE car. 2 weeks in we had to replace the battery I figured ok, it's a 5 year old car that's understandable. when we were applying for the car we gave them a list of things we were looking for in a car (seats at least 6 and had leather seats was the major thing) and they just told me that that's not possible in our price range. They did like 9 credit checks on me when I told them I would be willing to put more down to go with a specific credit union that I was already with, They put me with a credit union that is clear across town. I bought my car February 2013 which they had just bought from an auction and since October 2013 I have had to take my car in once a month because of mechanical problems on the car. I've gone to their dealership 4 times in 4 months for having the throttle body worked on then finally replaced and now my car is telling me that I have to service the airbag which of course isn't covered by the warranty, and the best part of all these repairs is that they can't even do the repairs. They have to send it to a Chevy dealership. So I asked them why they would buy a car from an auction when they CAN'T even do the repairs to it? they told me that you "predict" these problems. I think if they had a good mechanic the mechanic could look at the wears and tears and see what may soon go out on a car. They had provided a rental to me the 2nd time my car went to the dealership so when I asked them on the 3rd return (December) they told me it was against company policy, after I told the manager that I will NEVER buy a car from them again and as a matter fact I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to buy a car from them. The manager called me a couple days later to tell me that my car was done and he wanted to personally deliver my car to me I told him that the Chevy Dealership who was doing the repairs on my car had kindly provided me a rental at no cost so I didn't need him to deliver my car to me. He then went on to tell me that they had done repairs on my car the month prior (November) of over $800 worth that weren't supposed to be covered by the warranty but he said he wasn't paying attention and had pushed the paperwork through and didn't realize they weren't covered until later, he also said that he didn't want me to think they were bad people that they "really do take care of their customers". I had to hang up on. So far that's my experience with them and it has been a complete nightmare. If you want a good car DON'T BUY A CAR FROM NATIONAL AUTO PLAZA! you will regret it like I have. I'm so fed up with all these problems I'm thinking about turning this car into a different dealership and go upside down to have a more reliable car.

I purchased a vehicle from NAP a few months ago and within two and a half weeks, my window regulator went out and my left turn signal was on the blitz. I took the car to its maker's dealership about the signal which they fixed at a fraction of the price but I brought the vehicle back to NAP about the regulator and got the run around for 3 weeks. They would not just give me a solid answer as to whether they were going to fix the vehicle or not. Finally after going back and forth to a mechanic they referred me to and to the NAP dealerships in Murray and Sandy for three weeks, they said they were not going to cover the repair. They said they didn't make any money off the sale of the vehicle. Now I see why they were eager to get rid of it and gave me the "deal" that they did. I honestly should have kept my old car. It was paid off and did not in the ten years that I owned it, give me nearly as many problems as this car has in a few months. The latest issue is the coolant light keeps coming on and my heat doesn't work so that will be more money coming out of my pocket. Take my advice, if you are shopping for a vehicle, do not do it at this "lemon" shop called National Auto Plaza. Jeremy, my salesperson, was very kind though and should consider going to work for a more reputable dealership before NAP destroys his reputation. I work in media so I come into contact with a lot of people and have had at least twenty to thirty people ask me where I got my car and I advise them NOT to even consider National Auto Plaza. I wish I had read reviews before going there myself because the general consensus seems to be the same. BUYER BEWARE!!

I can speak to their service when trying to purchase a car because I was just trying to sell my car to them. I had received an offer from another car dealership in the area and called to ask if they thought they could beat it. Matt told me over the phone that he though it would be possible and he spoke to his used car manager who said that they wanted my car. I decided to make the 30 minute drive to Sandy since it sounded like they would be able to make me a better offer. I had been to another dealership in the area that buys cars and it had only taken 30 minutes to get their offer. I was expecting something similar at National Auto Plaza. After an hour I was given an offer that was better than the other offer I had been given. I asked them to put it in writing so my husband and I could come back up later that evening to finish out the deal. I was told both by Matt and by the manager that I didn need the offer in writing because they on play gamesand it wouldn be a problem at all. Both of them tried to get me to go through with the deal right then even though I didn have the title with me and I didn have a way to get back home. I was told that one of their technicians could drive me home and that it was fine that I didn have the title with me, that I could just bring it back up sometime. I didn feel comfortable with that offer so I called my husband to see if he would be willing to leave work to grab the title and come meet me at the dealership. He said that he was if they would increase the offer by $100 to compensate for our time. When I talked to Matt about what my husband said, he told me that he didn think it would be a problem but that he needed to go check. Prior to this he was asking me what it would take to do the deal right now and had asked if I would be willing to do it if they increased the offer $100 so it really had been his idea. Well after waiting for awhile longer Matt came back over to let me know what they had decided and he told me they no longer wanted my car. I was furious that I had just waisted 30 minutes driving up to Sandy and by the end of it all 2 hours sitting around at the dealership and then another 30 minutes to drive back home. I left the dealership and was so upset that I ended up in tears in my car as I was leaving. I would strongly encourage anyone who is thinking of doing business of any kind with this dealership to reconsider and look elsewhere for a place to sell or buy a car.

Avoid this dealer are all costs. They use the sleaziest sales tactics I have ever seen, including asking you to sign purchase promises, blank contracts and more. The "sales person's" actual job is to waste your time and wear you down. after about two hours when you think you have agreed on a price they send you back to the "Finance guy" where the real deal actually takes place. He inflates the price ropes together a bunch of BS you don't need and random fees including a credit check fee which is about $45. They ran several hard inquires against my credit when they only needed to do one. You can get GAP from your bank. And that warranty is designed to cover things that don't ever break.

KC Tebbs and Marco Carillo are great! These guys at National Auto Plaza of Murray's internet department went out of their way to get me into the truck I wanted!!! I shopped all over town and was turned down by every dealer in town, but KC and Marco found a way to get me financed and into a great Toyota Tacoma that has the 4x4 I had to have!
