Both times I have needed to have my vehicle serviced I have experienced friendly professional staff every step of the way. Even the employee's that walked by as I waited smiled and greeted me with a hello. The work, both times, has been completed in a timely fashion and a little earlier than projected. It was raining when I arrived & parked in the lot, the gentleman (Geoff I believe) had me wait as he went into the rain to bring my vehicle inside. Another thing that impressed me was how clean the entire building is kept. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. A+ on customer service.

Mike in the service department was the best employee I have dealt with in my many visits to Marshall Ford. I have had many rude service department employees in the past, but Mike was incredibly friendly, welcoming & courteous. He washed my car, did an inspection check & provided me with a ride to work, all which wasn't even the reason for me being there (recall on my car). He was tremendous & I will ask for him each time I go.

This is by far the worst experience I have EVER had at dealership service center. If I could give negative stars I would. Where do I even start? Upon arriving at 8:30, there was an older gentleman who clearly had no idea where to go or what to do. NO ONE came to help him. He was basically left to fend for himself. When I got out of my car, no one was around. I walked up to the desk and had to initiate any conversation. Then the guy helping me was rude and unfriendly. He took forever at my car to get the info he needed. He asked me if I was waiting or leaving, I expressed that I should have had a loaner car. He didnt say a word. I then stated that I specifically asked for one and was told you would have one for me. He responded with I told you that? I didnt realize I needed to specify WHO told me. Then I find out that the loaner car is with Enterprise and that I needed to wait for someone to take me there to get it. This is 15+ minutes out of my way for work (so round trip, a minimum of 30 minutes). I stated that I didnt have time for that as I had to work and could arrange someone to pick me up and drop me off faster. Around 4 PM I called the service center to find out what was going on with my car, only to be told it would not be ready until around 10 AM the next day. At no point did anyone call me to discuss this and help me arrange for a rental. I expressed I needed a car and was told the service manager would call me right back. At 4:45 I called again since I was leaving work and needed to know what was going on, only to be told the manager was gone. I was put on hold so long I was forced into voice mail. I didnt get a call back until 5:15. I expressed my dissatisfaction and not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. It was basically put back on me that they could get me a rental, but I needed to pick it up from Enterprise. I am not against using Enterprise, but at 5:15 I did not have time to drive there to pick it up as it is out of the way, and rush hour would make the trip longer. I am completely dissatisfied with the level of service I received today. Had I received a call that my car would take longer than the 4 hours I was told, then I would have had time to arrange to pick up the rental, instead of scrambling last minute to try and find a ride home from work, and to work in the morning. Not once did they acknowledge the inconvenience they have caused. Is customer service no longer important? Sadly, simple communication could have changed this whole stressful situation, but the person I spoke to did not seem to comprehend or acknowledge that. My lease is up in a few months, and this experience alone has caused me to NEVER do business again and I will be sure to never recommend them to anyone

Dropped my car off on a Tuesday night before closing for a Wednesday service appointment. Did not hear anything from them until Thursday and I called them after being on hold numerous times. They could not even guarantee that they could get it in Thursday. I decided to pick my car and I suggested hiring more mechanics and service reps to answer phone. I was expecting much better service from a major dealership. I guess bigger does not always mean better. I had considered leasing a car from them once my lease was up but my experience with Marshall Ford was a huge turn off.

This is the most unorganized financing office. I have no problem with the fact that the loan has a high interest rate. My problem rests with the fact that it took two months to get a memo title, they call my phone to talk to my husband, and they still can't get our address right! At least the sales guy was great and we were able to get a car last minute.

My husband and I walked into the sales area looking for some familiar faces from times pass to help us with new vehicle. Those we were looking for had retired or moved on. One of the salesmen was leaving work and asked if he could help us. We told him what we wanted to do. So he grabbed a salesman to help us (Dennis Spagnolo). Our salesman, Dennis was very kind and professional throughout the car purchasing process. He helped me narrow down the selection of an ideal vehicle and I'm loving it! :) We ended the sales process late and many were going or had gone home. However, Dennis and Vickii (and cleaning team) worked with us until all paperwork had been printed and signed. Dennis helped transfer my personal items from the trade-in to the new fusion and then programmed our cellphones into Sync system. I met Sandy walking through the door to the Service department. She immediately greeted me with a smile and introduced herself. She asked why I had brought me car in and I explained. She smiled again (she has a great, welcoming smile!) and let me know she was going to check my battery and fill my windshield washer fluid. I asked her if I could leave as I had my daughters waiting to take me home and they had to get out to Lakeland for school. She said , "Absolutely!" I gave her my phone number, signed the form and I was on my way. She called me when my car was finished and I came to pick it up. Sh greeted me with another smile and said she was going to get my car. I thought it was in the lot somewhere. while I was outside waiting, I noticed my car pulling out of the car wash. She had gotten my car washed! It was a completely painless, pleasant experience bringing my car to have it serviced! Thank you Sandy for all your hard work, it was most appreciated!

I can only say good things about Frank as he went out of his way to not only make the deal happen (with a great interest rate), he also arranged to have a driver pick me up at the airport when I arrived to Cleveland. I have been a regular customer for over twenty years going back to when my late father was a salaried employee at the Walton hills Stamping plant and I could purchase on the "A" plan and The "Z plan after he retired. Since price etc. was a non-issue, I based my decision to deal with, then Marshall Ford, on some more important factors. The service department including Sean and Geoff and the service techs was a big "deal maker." They are the glue that builds the kind of loyalty a dealer needs to survive in today's highly competitive market. Once the ink is dry on the paperwork it is the excellent service I receive that brings me back vehicle after vehicle to Nick Mayer's Marshall Ford. The sales staff, especially Joe Witkowski, are knowledgeable and go out of their way to find exactly what the customer is looking for and the used vehicle people make sure I receive the maximum trade in value. In addition,they see to it that I receive all rebates and special financing for which I'm eligible and are concerned with my complete satisfaction long after the sale is completed. Show me that youre a serious buyer After negotiating the deal, the salesman asked if I had a trade-in. I answered that I did, but that I did not happen to be driving that car to the dealership that day. I said that I could bring it the next day, but the salesman said that it would be his day off, so I should bring it the day after next. BUT, he said that to seal the deal he had to prove to his manager that I was a serious buyer by leaving a $1000 deposit AND the title to my trade-in; I did both. Two days later, I drove the trade-in to the dealer, and I was informed that the car was sold to somebody else the previous day. As noted in an earlier review, he blamed the problem on poor internal communications. So, although I had shown that I was a serious buyer, Nick Mayer has proven to me that it is not a serious dealer.

Deal fell apart after the sale. The vehicle has been in the shop ever since the papers were inked. Almost a month now and the vehicle is still in their service center "being fixed". Frank told me to me to call before I came to ensure that the vehicle was still available. I called that morning and he said see you in an hour. When I got there he apologized that the car had been sold the day before and blamed the confusion on internal communication problems.(RED flag#1) I had expressed interest in another vehicle and he suggested I see it. He said it was in another building and asked me to meet him there. After waiting a few minutes another salesman met me to tell me that Frank was sorry that the 2nd vehicle was also sold last night.(RED flag#2) Fast forward a couple of daysFrank sent me a text to tell me that the deal on vehicle #1 fell through and was I was still interested. Unfortunately, I was and went to test drive it. I decided to buy it with the stipulation that my mechanic check it and my wife ok it. The sales manager was reluctant but let me to take the vehicle home only after much convincing. Note to selfnever beg to buy a car. It appeared to me he was trying hard to avoid my mechanics inspection (RED flag#3). The next day I returned (despite mechanics disapproval (RED flag#4)) to buy the car. At the sales managers desk he presented a sale price more than $1000 more than what was listed on the internet. After checking the price was lowered.(Red flag #5) My sale included a 30 day powertrain component warranty and a guarantee e-check pass. I was concerned about e-check because when I connected my scantool to the computer the engine codes had recently been reset and the vehicle had not been driven enough miles to be e-checked. Upon asking about an engine light the sales manager told me that there never was an engine light (RED flag#6) but they had sent the vehicle to the GM dealer to have the thermostat replaced. (More on this later.) At this point the sale was complete and I left with my gently used vehicle (after they denied a thanks for your business filling of the tank). In the month following I gave Marshall Ford many opportunities to provide great customer service and, unfortunately, they failed. First, I noticed that the gas gauge did not fall below tank. Day 3 of owning the car I ran out of gas. I made this known to the sales manager at Marshall Ford and he responded that this is not covered under my 30 day warranty and to do so would open up some legal issues by covering an unwarranted repair under warranty. That is salesman talk to me because I dont see any legal problem with providing great customer service. He offered a free oil change which I never saw. Next, I noticed a subtle tranny slip which I didnt expect them to notice or fix but brought up anyway. The sales manager appeased me by looking at it but, of course, found nothing. In wanting to know more about the tranny I called the GM dealership mentioned above. Unfortunately, they had not taken it there but since they were on the phone I asked if it had ever been serviced there. With the VIN he was able to tell me that Marshall Ford had taken it there for service some months before. When I asked what for the serviceman said the engine light was on. (Remember I was told there was never a check engine light on.) I asked what was repaired and he said nothing - they reset the code and performed no service. I asked about replacing the thermostat and he replied there is nothing here that says the thermostat was replaced. (Remember, Greg told me the vehicle was taken to the dealership to have the thermostat replaced.) Thankfully, this was the end of my dealing with Marshall Ford. Here I am 6 months later and the vehicle needs a $800 fuel pump. Likely because it was stressed by running empty due to the problem with the gas level sensor. Marshall Ford really missed an opportunity to provide great customer service. I wish I had heeded all of the RED flags listed above and the advice of my mechanic. I dont recommend Marshall Ford nor will they see any more of my business.

I was looking for a certain car that by the time I got there, another person was also there to look at. the other person had already made an offer so Jim went above and beyond to find me something else that would be suitable for me and was willing to stick within my price range. he let us test drive them and even offered to let us keep them a little longer so we could take them to a mechanic of our choice to have them looked at before buying. he was fun to talk to and put himself out to try to help me. in the end I did not end up getting a car because my time ran out and I had a very important appointment to go to and I do not live close to this location but I will definitely stop back and I will recommend anybody to go here for a vehicle and to request Jim. you couldn't ask for better customer service.

I hate to buy cars - 1. do not like the process 2. never cared for the salespeople 3. dont like to haggle 4. do not even like to drive! However, I needed to replace my clunker junker, wanted a Ford Escape- Talked to Frank at Marshall Ford he had several to choose and his demeanor and professionalism was excellent. I cannot express how impressed I am by my experience with the service department at this dealership. In an emergency situation, I brought my Ford in at 7:30am to see if they could sneak in an appointment. My trunk lock was frozen and inoperable with a ton of camping supplies (tent etc.) and food stuck inside. I was about to leave for a music festival and had already bought non-refundable tickets. Even though their service department was booked solid for four days, they empathized greatly with my situation and tried to squeeze me into the immediate morning schedule. They recruited one of their best mechanics (Dennis) to inspect the problem. Within two hours, they had opened the trunk, solved the issue, and I was on my happy way. Despite the fact that I greatly inconvenienced them, they did not even charge me the full hourly service rate. Notably, the service department operates with an overall good attitude and friendly atmosphere. I am heavily considering buying another cars from them in the future because I know I will be in good hands. Thank you so much!

Great experience in buying my used car. I am not a car person or care to be jacked around all day by the same old car buying practices. Searched for my car online at Cars.com, saw a few offered by this dealership. Called Frank and scheduled an appointment to view. Cordial and friendly, knowledgeable of the cars history and overall condition. Painless negotation to a happy meduim for me and the dealership. I just wanted to edit my review on my experience at the Marshall ford superstore. My car is finally fixed. Well the check engine light anyway. And that was my biggest concern. The other stuff I'll have to write off that I should of had it fixed before I purchased the vehicle. This has been a learning experience on my part for sure. Kyle the manager took ownership of this issue and got me in a rental car until my problems were fixed. I appreciate what he has done for me. It was a rocky start but after he got everything taken care for me I can now say I would recommend a friend to this dealership. It's now been 2 weeks with 0 problems

I recently purchased a 2005 Nissan xterra from the Lincoln side of the marshal for and Lincoln super store. Buying the car was great the staff was very helpful especially Dave the finance guy. I was very busy that day and they got me in my new car fast. Which was great. My check engine light was on the day I got it. They said it just had a tune up and just needs gas and the code cleared. Well it came back on the drive home. I called to schedule an appointment to get it looked at. I dropped it off before work so that the service department could take a look. Thinking they would call back to schedule the maintenance. Nope. This is where my experience turned into the worst car buying experience. I tried calling nobody could tell me where my car was for 2 days. Finally got ahold of Kyle the manager on Saturday to find out that it wouldn't be done till Monday. Would have been nice to know that. Then I get it back on Monday and the check engine light is still on! Called back in got ahold of Jim my sales guy on Tuesday. He said we would call me back. Nope, never did. Tried getting ahold of the manager Kyle again and no luck. Called back today 3/6/13 an spoke with Jim again and explained everything that has happened and said he would get in touch with Kyle to Get back with me. Still haven't heard back. Also got a call today from the dealership saying they got my title. Glad they got it 2 days b4 my current temp tags expire. Guess now I'll have to miss work to get them. Im not sure I could recommend anyone to come here. Hopefully soon this will be rectified.

Spoke to Frank on the phone, he asked me my situation and asked me a few qualifying questions. We scheduled some time the next day. I was actually interested in a few cars he had listed on the website. This is my first car purchase and I have very limited credit. My trade was a rusty bucket and I am a part time college student on a limited budget. Frank was actually able to get a fantastic deal on a short term lease for a brand new car...just love it.. I saw a low mileage 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander on Marshall Ford's website. I spoke with Frank Pisano and he was courteous in answering my quesitons and setting up the test drive. I drove the vehicle and there was no pressure from Frank to buy it. I told him I had a price in mind and if he could meet that and offer a fair price for my 2002 Impala we would close the deal. He came back with an offer that did not require me to do a lot of "game playing". To help make the deal complete they offered to replace the chipped windshield the next day and touch up the paint on the rear door at a future time. There was some minor confusion in the final paperwork process but nothing serious.

Looking for a while for a specific Ford Platinum Pickup Truck, been to 4 different dealers and then broadened my search raduis and found Marshall Ford, at first I thought it was a little too far to travel and I was sick of being jerked around in the process. I found a Rare and Low MIleage Navigator at Marshall Ford in Cleveland, Ohio. I never bought a car out of state before, called and spoke to Frank - he was very accomodating and knowledgeable of the Navigator and most important the condition and history. We decided to trust him and proceeded with the deposit and purchase. He made the process easy and comfortable for us. We flew in and he arranged pickup, quick and easy delivery process and then took the Navigator on a extensive, few thousand mile test drive. Kudos to Frank and Marshall Ford/Lincoln!! I met with Frank to purchase a car. Car was recently traded in and hadn't been refurbished. I offered $100 to hold the vehicle for 1-2 weeks while I secured financing. Frank said that he couldn't hold the car for a $100 and those repairs would be done in 3-4 days. I went back a week later and the repairs had even been started. I bought a newer model at Bass Ford for the same price but a better blue book value. That car is still unsold at Marshall Ford. Doesn't surprise me.

My husband and I have been looking for a while for a new used car, couldn't find anything where we live so we went to mayfield heights, we went to look at a 2009 fusion, left with a 2010 mercury milan. Frank was not pushy, he was honest and very helpful. They are under construction but it wasnt bad, they didn't miss a beat. Frank was able to help us into a vehicle which was better than we ever thought. I would go back and buy again!!! Look up Frank or jim!!

For the past 6 months, I have been searching for a used convertible that was the right mix of luxury, speed, class, and quality. We visited Marshall Ford with an appointment to test drive a Taurus. We found the one we liked online, but saw another one next to it we liked as well. We ended up liking the second car better, and purchased it today! Frank Pisano helped us through the process, explaining details about the car's history of service; we were treated respectfully. He did a great job, even working with us on pricing. He did a great job, and very patiently answered all of our questions, and respectfully backed off, giving my husband and I time to talk over our prospective purchase in private. We went to lunch, and decided to buy the car. I look forward to enjoying my new car, and will refer Mr. Pisano to any friends in the market for a new car.
