I just purchased for my wife, a pre-owned, 2015 Nissan Altima. The Mercedes Benz Sales and Leasing Consultant who sold us the vehicle was Jon Sunner. My wife and I found him to be a very friendly, like able, young man. He was quite knowledgeable in answering all our questions to our satisfaction. What impressed me the most about him, was his initiative in procuring for me a second key fob for the vehicle from a nearby Nissan dealership, as well as having them synchronize the key fob to the vehicle (now that is what I call service!). We also observed Joyce Perry, Finance Manager, and Paul Moser, Mercedes-Benz Sales Manager, to be well informed in answering finance questions and explaining the transfer process of our previous vehicle's title to our son. We only went to Nissan of State College to compare the Nissan Rogue against the KIA Sportage, from first meeting Jeff Hollingshead,who explain the Rogue to us and all it's advantages over the KIA in a no pressure type of approach, made myself and my wife really start to look at the differences. Are major concern was safety, because of our two grand children. The Nissan Rogue met this requirement hands down. When we decided to purchase the Rogue Jeff was more then happy to explain payment/lease options and what we needed to do. When we arrived on a Friday to discuss the options Jeff had to take his mother to a appointment, and had Michael Long sit down explain everything to us, which he did a exceptional job of doing. Then least but not last in our book was Elaine Frock who explained registration, and payment options. I reckon my bottom line is Thank You for a great experience and also a great vehicle.

Why would you mail everyone this Money Carlo Scam? Luckily I did some research online and found out it was a scam before going to the dealership. I think it is in really poor taste because a lot of people are going through hard times with the economy being the way it is people need money to pay their bills, and you scam them during the holidays instead....nice.

Received an event advertisement in the mail with a Money Carlo pull tab style lottery ticket. For funs, I pulled the tabs and we got a match - Triple 7's, which, according to the ticket, means you win 1500$. I called the store and the guy on the phone sounded very happy for me and stated that no, it was not a scam and that I could come by and claim my prize. So I did...We were greeted by a saleswoman who wanted to register our names and information first so that we could claim the prize. We insisted to see the prize board before doing any of that, just to double check that this was legitimate before giving any info and, as it turns out, we did not win cash. Despite the obviously misleading ticket, she kept telling us that we were the ones at fault for not reading the ticket properly (which only said you need to come to the store to confirm your prize). And after all of that, she kept insisting on getting our information before she could give us the scratch off ticket that we actually won. She even mentioned that they would love to help us find a new car! The thing is: I will never buy a car from a place that engages in such deceitful marketing campaigns. All they are interested in is dragging you to the store with the hope that you won something and try to sell you a car. Stay away!

Mike McKay was very helpful, courteous and considerate through our buying process. We were in a bit of a bind as our car had just been declared a total loss by the insurance claims adjuster. Several other dealerships in the area tried to take advantage of our plight and showed us vehicles far beyond our stated price range and did not seem interested in working with us when we reiterated our limits. Mike stayed within our guidelines and did not try to pressure us. He also went above and beyond to help make the process as 'quick and painless' as possible. Thank you Mike!

The electronic steering wheel lock went bad on my 2009 Altima. I was stuck in the local supermarket parking lot. One phone call to State College Nissan and Travis at the service desk told me "if you can get it here today we can fix it right away". A second call to a tow truck, off to State College Nissan. I had my car back in less than a day. I told Travis I needed the car and he made sure I had it. Thanks State College Nissan.

The service I received yesterday was nothing short of amazing! I called at 8:09 yesterday morning to see if I could possibly get an oil change yesterday afternoon. I was replying to an email that quoted a good price for the oil change. I was given a 1 pm appointment. When I arrived, Travis informed me that the oil change was about 1/2 what the email said because they were doing a customer appreciation event. He then asked if I wanted to have my tires rotated and since adding that in was still less than the price for the oil change in the email, I agreed. I waited in the very comfortable lounge where I was offered a donut or some other snack and a hot or cold beverage. The work was completed in a timely manner and I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness during the entire visit. If I could give more than a five-star rating, I would. Thank you!

Car buying can be quite a daunting task, when you throw in pushy salesmen who are dishonest it makes for a very unpleasant experience . Not the case with Ellen Dunsmore of Nissan State College she is hands down the best car salesman I have ever met. Ellen was very patient with me as I didn't know exactly what car I wanted. She asked all the right question in order to help me choose a car that suits my needs. After about 10-15 minutes of inventory searching she found the perfect car for me that was a little out of my price range. However Ellen went above and beyond to get the price that I could afford, she even got me an extended warranty at no extra cost. I plan to have my car serviced at Nissan State College the sales and management staff are unmatched. Car shopping should be exciting but in a lot of cases dealerships turn car buying into a nightmare. For me Ellen and Nissan State College put the fun back into buying a car. Keep up the good work!

The dealers don't see you as just another sale. They care and take into consideration your needs both vehicle wise, and financially. This is our second time having the pleasure of dealing with this dealership and the same two great guys, Mike M. and Thomas. We purchased a vehicle a few months ago from here but recently decided that financially, it wasn't for us. I called Mike and told him our situation which he was eager to help us with right away! I purchased a new 2012 Nissan murano from this dealership. 2 months ago it broke down with less than 9500 miles on it, in my driveway in Emporium pa. I called the 800 number for roadside assistance only to be told I had to pay to have my vehicle towed, at my expense and would be reimbursed up to 400$ after the vehicle was repaired. 1st of all I have in my 50 plus years had several new vehicles, mainly Toyotas, and Fords, but this time we decided to purchase a Nissan. I have also had new cars break down in the past, but never ever had to pay out of my own pocket for anything? Still don't get the idea of paying for something that doesn't work. After I got the vehicle repaired, the dealership said they had to submit my receipts to Nissan for my "reimbursement ", what a joke. Not only did I have to wait over 2 months, I also find out they will only reimburse me 250$, not the 400$ plus I had to pay to get it towed??? What's wrong with that picture? After my extended and lengthy discussions with this dealership, all in vain, I have been told to just swallow the 150$ and except the loss! I asked to speak to the owner, but he's not in! I can't tell you to not buy a Nissan, or from this dealership, but I for one am completely finished with this sorry car maker and especially this dealership. Tried to do the right thing but got dumped on.. I'd like to give them their car back if I could. Signed by all in!!!!!

Because the visit was a pleasant experience, beside construction. The most knowlegeable and personable mechanic I've dealt with. He took me step-by-step through everything he did and answered all of my questions. Considering he was called in because of another mechanic had called off, and his backlog was significant for a Saturday, he was professional and efficient. I came in on Saturday February 1 to look at and test drive a Nissan Versa Note. I really enjoyed dealing with Nissan of State College simply due to their customer service. I have purchased several Nissan cars in my life and have bought all of them from another dealership. My experience with State College Nissan was very different due to the friendly nature of the salesman and the fact that the "dealing" process was not simply a "back and forth game". I told Mike where I wanted to be with the difference from my trade and he made the deal. That's all customers want!!!! Get to where they want to be "price-wise" and don't insult them with the back and forth game like so many dealerships do, but I can say that State College Nissan does none of this which is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Eid gave us great customer service! When we pulled into your lot, he was outside and gave us a warm welcome on a cold day. It was Black Friday and we just wanted to sit in a Rogue to see if it was large enough for us. We took it for a test drive, and we also liked the color. I believe that the gentlemen that waited on me was named Steve. He is a very nice person. He has a very pleasant personality and makes sure you have what you need before you leave and that you are satisfied with your visit. The guys in the back are wonderful...they noticed that my inspection was going to run out at the end of the month and asked if they could do the inspection while I was there. That saved me from having to make another trip in less than a week and kept me from getting a ticket as I didn't know it was about to run out. The entire experience went very well. My wife and I were treated very well, by all of the employees - and we met several during the process. There was no pressure applied to buy the truck but, after the final offer was provided, we did in fact make the purchase. We have had the vehicle for only 3 days, and we are very satisfied with both the truck and the experience. In hindsight, it was probably one of the easiest vehicle purchases we have made. I think very highly of both the dealership and the truck...and, they gave us two hats!

I brought my Nissan versa in for 60 month service and for state inspection. Although I did not have an appointment, the service manager STEVEN HOWELL worked me in and completed the services needed. Needed parts and my options were discussed with me before being performed. Also, a lighting problem I noticed that morning before coming to the shop, was checked and repaired during my visit. Everyone there treated me with respect and in a friendly manner. This time, and always, I have been completely satisfied with my experiences at this dealership.

My only complaint is that I didn't get a duplicate key for my vehicle. All vehicles should come with 2 keys. It should be a courtesy to the customer to furnish an extra key.

We went to Nissan of State College to test drive a Nissan Rogue to find out if our daughter really liked the car before we went out of town to purchase from another dealer because of advertised prices online. After meeting with Dave Rusnak, he asked us if he gave us a good price would we purchase from him, of course we said yes. Well we did, Dave came back with a price that definitely surprised us. And with a little more negotiations we purchased the car from him. We left the dealership feeling very satisfied with our deal. Great value for the price.

I have never had a better experience in buying a car than I had with Nissan of State College and Mike Mckay. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and the buying experience could not have been more perfect. The dealership made us feel as if we were purchasing an expensive luxury car when we bought a little under $20,000 new car-which I love! I can not say enough good things about this dealership, they have earned us as life time customers and I will be highly recommending them to my friends and family.

Michael & Thomas was VERY GOOD to work with! They both were friendly and accommodating. Would not think twice of returning to buy again. Thumbs up. Really worked well to help me but this car. A few days later found the passenger side view was broken and with out a though they are replacing it for free. Now that is what I call GOOD SERVICE!!! Nice selection, looking for a different auto do not hesitate. Visit State College Nissan stop in and ask for Mike Arseniu or Thomas you will be glad you did. Tell them Tom Y. sent you. I am very pleased with the 2001 Ford Mustang GT I recently purchased at the dealership. Salesperson MIchael Arseniu did a great job explaining everything to me. I was impressed by how smooth and quick the purchase went. It only took 1 hour and 45 minutes to appraisal my trade-in, test drive the Mustang, and sign off on the paperwork. I live 90 miles away and need to 'fit in' appointments when my schedule permits. I was able to get a service appointment to evaluate a bearing/tire noise in my Murano the next day, have both bearings replaced on warranty, and be on my way within about two hours. That's service!

Just an over all great salesmen ( Nick Dafnis ) and great dealership, the wife and i could not find a good deal in our local area so we ventured out and came across Nissan Of State College, Nick was patient and explained everything to us and didn't pressure us one bit. we left that evening not sure on the figures and not expecting a call back. BUT to our surprise Nick called the next and worked with us some more.We now have a 2013 Juke. the wife is happy which makes me happy :) Big thanks to Tom also, great guy could of swore he was an Assuie lol.

I was very impressed with how Aicia worked with me to get a car within my budget. She was friendly and fast with her service. I did not have the best credit due to a job loss years ago, but she helped me get into a nice car with great gas mileage. I would recomend her and the Nissan dealership to others.

We went in with not the best of credit but thanks to Tom "the nationwide man" he was on our side and got us in a brand new Nissan Sentra Special Edition. Great Job! Deb has a great sense of humor along with everyone we dealt with. Thank you guys, i would recommend anyone and everyone to go to your dealership. I would never bother with any other dealership again. I have been to other dealerships in the area and none of them wanted to give us the time of day.

This may possibly be the worst place on the face of the earth to have your car serviced. They lie and lie again to get you to spend more and more money. My brother had his Altima serviced there due to some difficulties with the electrical system. They claimed it was due to a bad battery and offered to replace it for $180. We refused as that is an outrageous price for a battery. I knew they were lying from the get go because these difficulties are not caused by bad batteries. Plus the battery in his car was only a year old. They then suggested the alternator needed replaced which made sense. $600 later and the problem exists, then they started back in with the battery again. We finally replaced with our own battery for less than half the price they asked. The problem still remained. I looked under his hood to see the alternator didn't look new at all. After taking the car back for the third time and having to get a bit firm with them and speaking with the service manager they finally said it was a bad alternator. Replaced it and the problem went away. I was also sitting out in the parking lot and the employees who were taking the car into the garage were swearing my brother up and down behind his back. Real professional. So basically what happened is they charged him $600 for an alternator they DEFINITELY didn't replace, and then proceeded to lie through their teeth as to what the problem was to try to sell more of their overpriced garbage to us. My best advice to anyone is to stay away from this rip off of a place. I personally like nissans but I will never buy one until they pull out of this shady dealership.

Being a student on a limited budget, I found the dealership and dealers very accommodating to my individual needs. Tom was very quick to take care of any issues that I had and Jackie made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I strongly recommend this dealership to all of my friends that are on limited budgets, as Jackie, the salesperson, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

State College of Nissan is a pushy dealership, they will take your keys to your trade and not give them back. I asked 4 times that I wanted my keys; that I wanted to Leave and they would not give the keys back. I finally had to get a little mean and finally got my keys back. The sales manager has a cocky additude, nissan needs to pull out of that dealership.
