Had the best experience this weekend at Greenway Nissan. They went above and beyond to get me the best deal and we’re very patient as I went back and forth on the phone with my spouse. Though Tyler was really nice and helpful, we got the 2020 Tahoe home and the next day showing problems. A front signal failure- caused by the moisture in the headlight and blown shocks which weren't noticed until driving slow and over bumps. These are both simple fixes that I cant figure out why the dealership wouldn't have had fixed before putting it out for sale yet now they're our problem because it's an "as is" sale. Oh yeah and the finance guy was a major jerk.

If you have ANY type of disability I HIGHLY suggest not coming here to do any business of any sorts. I left a voicemail and a gentleman by the name of Ron called me back and left a terrible message about my speech and how he had to listen to the message 7 times to even understand me and completely humiliated me. We will never do business with this company even though we are in the market to purchase a new Nissan and get maintenance on our current one.

They bring you in with an advertised price that doesn't exist. They show the word "Price in one sized letters with small marks that look like quotations and then in large letters give you a low price.When you agree to buy the car at $12,900 they write it up and tell you the price is $17,500. Oh didn't you see the asterisk and read the fine print buried several pages down? These are sleazy used car sales tactics that I would not have expected from a dealership.

Just drove away with a new Frontier pickup. I have purchased quite a few vehicles in my life and have to rate this purchase one of the best experiences. The personnel, from the General Manager all the way down the line, were all very professional and prepared my vehicle in amazing quick time once the deal was completed. I (and my wife) were introduced to the service manager and shown around so we know what to do when we bring our vehicle in for the first service. The service department was very clean (as was the show room) and very impressive. We look forward to a great relationship with this dealership.

Chris gave me 2 options for new tires and I selected the ones he recommended. I had 58,000 miles on the car and he suggested a front end alignment, which turned out to be necessary. He is very good at explaining the computer analysis of the car which they do with every oil change. He provides very excellent service.

Sept. 27, 2016Hello, I went car shopping Sunday at Nissan of Venice to look for a new vehicle. We were greeted by Eric and Tom, who made us feel comfortable at the showroom and Tom showed us around and guided us through the available cars there, at first they didnt have the car I wanted to see but they called and got the car there in minutes for me to see and drive. I was used to being being a car with power so as soon as I got behind the wheel I knew this was the car for me, 2016 Nissan Altima SV Sedan, rides so smooth... but yet I can feel the power of the engine. The car is beautiful inside and out! I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. The salesman was very informative and answered every question of ours patiently. But more than that he Listened to me!Nowadays, its commonly seen that car salesmen just dont do enough good jobs and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesmen like Tom; from the General Manager to the Guy that washed and cleaned my car he delivers an incredible service and gave a very pleasant experience deliver an incredible service and give a very pleasant experience!We will be coming back to Nissan of Venice for the years ahead.Regards,Debi

Let me begin by saying, I have had excellent to good service in the past. This time I had scheduled an oil change, needed a visor replaced, tires rotated and a tire estimate. It took approximately 4 hours then was told I couldn't leave without another tire and for 600 plus I could get the 2 I needed but also required an alignment. So for over 800. More.... I'd be ready to go. I told them I only wanted an estimate, did not want to purchase today. I was told they'd put on the spare and send me on my way but that was the only way I could leave due to a safety hazard. My husband would have been left to make changes and has a bad back so I felt trapped. I knew I had a plug in the tire, thus the reason for getting estimates. When all was finally completed I had to hurry home since I had my husbands car keys and he was stuck there with 3 grandchildren who had been promised to go swimming! Needless to say it was a bad day for many. My car steering wheel was covered with grease and so was the back seat and floor, probably where they put the extra tire in instead of opening the lift gate, due to not knowing how to move the wheel chair lift. So for 6 plus hours I sat without being offered a water or a ride until the end a nice employee said she could run me for some lunch or home but I'd been told it was done except for the wash. I waited about 45 more minutes then asked to pay early so I'd be ready when the car was. Will think twice about returning. Hope it was just a fluke and a "bad" expensive day, that hasn't become the norm.

Met salesman on a Sunday in the parking lot. No pressure. We came back a week later and bought a car. Buying was typical you make an offer, we'll take it to the boss and see if he likes it. They beat most internet pricing and were in our budget. As far as the facilities go, ladies room was clean, but the men's room floor was filthy. In my world that says upper management doesn't pay attention to detail or doesn't care. We'll see as we return for service.

We walked out of another dealership where the sales force were pushy. I knew this was the SUV I wanted as soon as I sat in it (despite my resolve to look and drive every SUV on the market). Now maybe because we had no intention of buying from them but from first contact she was very pleasant, not pushy and had more knowledge of the car than I. As a woman I have been taken advantage of in all aspects of car buying and servicing over the years. Until now! A few weeks ago I walked into Nissan of Venice and was greeted by Ciara Hardy. I explained what I was looking for and what was important for me to have in my next vehicle. Ciara was great! Without any pressure she shared which Nissan would meet my criteria and took me out for a test drive. Her knowledge about Nissan and the Murano was outstanding. She wasn't pushy and she treated me like I wanted to be treated - like an intelligent educated consumer. Negotiations went smoothly and without any hassle or pressure. When Ciara delivered my Murano she took her time to go over all the features and answered all my questions. She was terrific and by far provided the best experience I've ever had buying a car! I recommend her highly and will ask for her again when it's time for my next car. Thank you Ciara and thank you Nissan of Venice. For the first time ever I enjoyed buying a car. We did not see the sticker price & could not find the paper, so we had to take their word ! They said the rogue sv was 30k but that they would "give" it to us for 26k. Our research has shown that the msrp on most web sites is 26,090-26,245 with no moon roof or premium package!! Even though we have owned or leased 8 nissans we were not offered short term 0% financing & denied certain rebates. The next day I asked the finance person about the extra service agreement document & when produced the printed lower amt. was crossed out!!!The trade in offered on my 2012 rogue sl was at least $500 below Edmonds blue book. They also switched sheets of papers with different numbers several times!! Free pin stripeing the next day took over 3 hrs., because it had to be redone & is still not correct which means I have to return again!!!

I have purchased a lot of used vehicles from dealerships in my life. Even a few from this dealership. I Went in to get a brand new Nissan Xterra as my wife and I have become more active in our lives. Hiking, kayaking and camping are things we plan on doing on a more regular basis. Tom our sales rep really did his job. I live in North Port and instead of driving up there right away we did a lot of back an forth via email and even text messaging. When I came up to look at the vehicle he had it ready to go. He let me test drive it and told me to take my time to make sure I really wanted it. After the test drive I told him I had to get back to work and they got back to me a few hours later with the numbers. Everything worked out perfectly and I went back to get my brand new car. Well in the transfer of my personal belongings I left my garage clicker in the car I traded in. Would be you believe he drove it over to me?! Talk about going the extra miles literally. I love this place. They have a client for life.

After owning a classic Jaguar roadster for over a decade, it recently was declared a total loss in a rear end collision in Manatee County. I researched the internet and visited several dealerships from Clearwater/Tampa to Brandon, Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice. As a 70 year old, the trauma of a severe accident followed by the "new game" of electronic car searches and e-mail blitzes was quite an experience. After setting up an appointment I visited the dealership and checked out my choice. Peter was the "numbers guy" and James accompanied me during the test drive. He even allowed me to test drive (2) different vehicles with no questions asked. James was very thorough in describing and pointing out the features of the vehicles. James was very friendly and the thing I liked most was that he WAS NOT a high pressure salesman. He just explained the facts, features, details and my options then he let me decide. (I hate being high pressured). Overall I had a great experience at Venice Nissan. I would recommend the sales staff to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle. I have no comment or opinion on the service team as I have not met anyone of them or had any service work completed yet but I fully intend to get my service work done at the dealership when my maintenance is needed.

Like many buyers, the worst part of car shopping is dealing with high pressure salesman. Last week we purchased our third vehicle from Venice Nissan and again had a wonderful experience. Our most recent salesman, James Mackin, introduced himself upon our arrival and allowed us the space to view each vehicle and discuss the pro's and con's in private. However, he made sure that he remained close by to answer any questions or concerns. My wife found the vehicle of her dreams and we returned two days later with an offer and closed the transaction within the hour. The sales manager and financing officer were very professional and were able to get us financing with a recent bankruptcy. I hope everyone takes the time to visit Venice Nissan when looking for a new or use vehicle. Thanks again Jim, for the excellent service and follow-up.

My family and I went to Venice Nissan Friday night just before they closed. I knew I'd be asking for too much by asking for a test drive less than hour before they were scheduled to close. I was on the phone, (rude, I know) and Kevin was waiting for me to get off the phone. I was waiting for my fiancee to get there before we started looking around. Kevin approached us, very casually and gave us the specs on the vehicle. He obviously knew a lot about the car, the engine and MPG which is the biggest factor we were considering when looking for a new vehicle. Since I knew a lot about the Altima before going in, everything Kevin mentioned was on point, including the options that are available, the trim specs and features in each trim. Test drive: I'll admit, I was amazed. I haven't driven a new car since 2001 so technology definitely has improved. The smooth drive was amazing with the CVT transmission! I could go on and on about the car, but the sales professionals at Venice Nissan helped me with a seamless transaction. The Altima is definitely an A+++++++ car for it's class!Immediately after our test drive, about 7:30pm, we met with the Sales Manager, Peter Liakakos. Peter was very transparent with information regarding our options. We were very confident walking out of the dealership that evening that we knew everything we needed to know before making the HUGE decision to buy a vehicle for our family. As anyone can understand, even walking onto a lot is stressful. You're thinking, "Oh, no. Here they come." You probably go afterhours since you won't get hounded. We, in no way, shape or form, felt any pressure to buy anything. The product did it for us in conjunction with the forwardness and outstanding service from Kevin and Peter.We returned the following morning to complete the rest of the financial paperwork. It was ready for us upon arrival. We met with Kevin Harrison regarding financing, and he, too, was very clear about the different options we had regarding insurances. Overall, I'm very happy with the transaction and service. We've built a great relationship with Venice Nissan, and I've got nothing but great compliments for them. We will definitely go back to Venice Nissan should we have to replace our second vehicle down the road.

I found a 2006 Toyota Avalon on AutoTrader.com from Venice Nissan and called to inquire about the car. I spoke with Peter, the internet sales manager who ended up helping me throughout the sale. I have bought many used cars over the years and several from the internet. Peter was the nicest, most honest person I have dealt with so far. He immediately went out to the car while I was on the phone and described the condition in detail. He also took and emailed me extra pictures of a few interior flaws he noticed. I could tell that he really wanted me to know as much about the car as possible, so I would not be surprised when I saw it in person. It took me a little over 24 hours to negotiate and make a decision. Throughout that process, Peter faithfully returned my calls several times and patiently answered every question and request. I really appreciated Peter's honesty, integrity and professionalism. I made a deposit on the car the day after I first called and purchased a flight for the following Saturday from NC to Sarasota Florida. Even though the dealership is about 30 minutes away from Sarasota, Peter picked me up as soon as the plane landed. He drove me back to the dealership and offered to buy me a snack on the way. When we arrived at the dealership, he showed me the car and we took a brief test drive. I was introduced to several other staff members and everyone was very courteous and friendly. The sales process went quickly and the dealership even filled the car with gas and made sure the tires had the correct pressure. The car was even better than described and Peter and Venice Nissan were wonderful to work with throughout the entire purchase. Thanks Peter and Venice Nissan for a great car purchase experience! I highly recommend this dealership!

My car was towed in because of a faulty part in the steering column. This part was given a million mile warranty by Nissan which basically meant they knew about the problem and didn't want the bad press of a recall so they gave it a million mile warranty instead. Once the car was towed in, I was told the part was on back order and it could be weeks before it came in. What was so frustrating was even though this was totally Nissan's fault, the dealer refused to provide a loaner or reimburse me for the rental. I spoke with the owner, Ed Howard, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He basically told me he wouldn't reimburse me because it would cut into his profits too much. $19.95/day would have made the dealership go broke.

First, let me start with both Arthur and Matt the Sales Managers they we're simply awesome! So knowledgeable, hardworking, and kept me in the loop through the whole process. (which was a first for me) They gave me a outstanding deal and my New Nissan is beautiful, they even invited us to a catered dinner! And Its been 3 Months and I've received a follow-up phone call to see how I'm enjoying the Car plus they call me when i'm due for service. Even the Service Department is top-notch! Outstanding Job guys! Won't be buying a car anywhere else EVER again!

The service dept found many problems with my car and recommended i look at another car. Kendra was sent to us. She was very friendly. She knew her tuff. I was amazed at how good she was since she had only been doing this for a few months. They were honest and helpful. We were given special attention with or needs and very happy with the results. We are driving a great car and it was largely due to her knowledge of the products she showed us. She will be a very large asset to that dealer in the future

No way, no how will I ever go back into this dealership again. Service Director Rob is the reason. I stopped in on a Saturday to get an oil change on my new altima. Because I didn't have an appointment he refused to even write a ticket for the service even after telling him I didn't mind waiting. after hearing all his excuses for not doing the oil change I finally said I would take it someplace else. He said ok and I left. The hard part to swallow was I had purchase a new Rogue for my wife in august of 2012 and the new altima for myself in November 2012. Sales department was easy to deal with and I was happy with the deals we received. When this complaint made it to Edye Howard the owner/general manager I was told he would look into the situation and call me. I'm still waiting for that call. I now service at Harbor Nissan 22 miles from home. But at least they appreciate my business.

Can't remember the manager that we dealt with. I know his last name was Hill. Very unprofessional and never even provided the information we wanted. He beat around the bush and never gave us a decisive answer. After we tried to do business with him and the salesman (who was actually very nice) for literally 1 1/2 HOURS we still didn't have a price. It's usually the sales people that are ignorant and the managers that at least have a clue! Not there! And the guy was actually nasty to top it all off. We bought a different car altogether once we managed to escape!!
