MUST READ BEFORE GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP -This was the most disappointing customer service experience I have witnessed first hand which ended with the GENERAL MANAGER, BARRY, telling me I didn't have the "GUTS" to buy the vehicle! Everything bad about the car buying experience still remains here. I drove a pre-owned Verano that smelled horribly and the dealership committed getting the smell out. I agreed to drive there again to check out the car before buying, however they had me drive there and didn't do anything to the car to just get me to buy it. They agreed again to clean and bomb it but before they did that ended up selling it to a Sales Manger at the store! Shady and unethical and I see I am by far the only one that has had this experience. There are plenty of other Buick dealers in the County, go to one of them.

I went there to buy a used small SUV. The sales person showed me what they had exactly in my price range. She also showed a coupe slightly above and below what I told her. I actually ended up getting a 4 door, 5 passenger truck. It's he best of both worlds.I really had a good time working with my sales person. I wish I could remember her name but I know she's worked there for a long time. I liked her so much, I searched down the manager and told him. The finance group was very easy to work with.

--MUST READ before going there--My review is for the Bat xxxx Crazy Sales people at North County Buick Cadillac GMC that jump on other peoples cars.At one point I thought the sales manager was going to use a from of extortion to get me to buy a car or sue me or worse yet have me taking to Jail!A surprising new low for a car salesman, the "sales manager" Drew jumped on my car and said I hit him as I was backing out to leave. In my time I have been through this process a few times. I've bought 2 new cars and a lease. Also I have purchased a number of used cars. Every time they pull out the 4 boxes and ask what monthly payment are you looking for but this time was a special experience! Absolute low life's with no integrity that don't give a xxxx about the customer; these are the salesman at North County Buick Cadillac GMC. An hour and half passed, After looking at cars and a test drive. My wife and I had a seat to run through the numbers with the salesman Mac, telling him again we had a 2 month old at home with grandma and couldn't stay much longer. He walked back again to talk with whoever manager only to return to draw a Chart/Graphic and to teach/lecture us about an amortization schedule. I was surprised by this got mad then got up and told my wife "let's go" As we were followed out by someone claiming to be the sales manager "Drew" and demanding to know why we didn't buy a car but instead we walked out. I told him I didn't have to explain anything to him and got in my car. As I started to back my car out slowly I looked at him only to see him jump on my car and grab his leg. I couldn't believe this guy, he didn't want us to go so bad he jumped on my car! xxx? He said that I hit him and that my tire hit his knee. I got out of my car knowing if I left and this desperate salesman pushed it I could be change with felony hit-and-run. My wife was in the passenger seat and watched this all happen. The "sales manager" was grabbing his leg and again he was asking me why I wasn't going to buy a car, I told him it's because you guys are playing games like this. I told my wife to hand me my cell phone so I could call the police and get this documented, I wasn't going to leave this place with someone chasing me out the door and jumping on my car then saying I hit them. Holy xxxx!!!! At this point of getting my cell phone from my wife the "SALES MANAGER" said that he was just playing and I don't need to call the cops that he just wanted me to tell him why we were leaving without but a car. F' this place full of crazy salesman. Good luck to anyone who goes here because they will find a way to RIP YOU OFF! if not by Extortion!!!!This was my 1st time at a Buick/Cadillac dealership and I always held Cadillac in high regards until now.

I just bought a new (used - but new to me) Nissan Crew Cab pickup from North County GMC. I love my new truck!!!! I really had a great time working with the sales lady! She was very knowledgeable on the used SUVs I was originally looking for. Then I saw the pick up. She suggested I drive the SUVs first and then the truck to make sure the truck would work for me. And it did.I had a 13 year old Infinity QX56 SUV that I used as a trade in. I feel that they really did give me a fair price for it. The sales lady was very fun to work with. The finance lady was also easy to work with.I recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle

I have been waiting almost 3 months for a refund on a canceled extended warranty.I canceled within 3 days of purchase and it now appears they didn't even enter the paperwork.Supposedly they resubmitted the request after 8 weeks but I haven't seen anything yet.

Hutch Green is a highly skilled service advisor at Buick Escondido. I have a 2011 Enclave and each time I bring in my car for service Hutch is prepared and up to date on the recall, service and safety needs of my car. His attention to detail is stellar. He always reserves a loaner car for me because he knows I have to pick up kids for carpool. I appreciate this! It makes the inconvenience of getting your car serviced not so inconvenient. I can still be productive without my car because of Hutch Green's attention to detail and his personal touch. He's a great communicator and keeps me in the loop of when my car will be ready. We were on the internet; been talking about needing a new car; put in some info; got a call from Shay. Absolutely no pressure. It was as if a friend called to let us know where we could get our best deal and cost savings. Wow, that was it; he said he would be there to help if we decided. Loved not being bombarded with phone calls. Few days later we went in; Shay was with another buyer and he asked Sheila to help us. She was amazing in the way she wanted to help us find the SRX we were wanting but then let us know they would not be making them after 2016. She researched all there was on the new ST5? (Cadillac Crossover) and said she would call as soon as we could build one. Nice she wasn't adamant about us getting what was available right then. She never tried to talk us into anything; just kept giving us info. Less than a week later, we decided to go with the Buick Enclave (which we also loved) rather than wait (our 16 year old Cadillac was not being its dependable self) and again went on the internet to see what was available...making contact with Shay/Sheila again. Sheila called and asked if we wanted to come in that evening but we had some other commitments so we made it the following morning at 10am. We really didn't want her to have to stay after hours for this car sale for us. Well she called later that evening because she was getting all the paper work done for us so we wouldn't have to be waiting so long. Greatly appreciated! So the following morning we came in and Sheila took us over to the car so we could see what we were buying and then introduced us to Alex (finance). Another amazing young man who knows his numbers. After listening to us he figured out the exact way we wanted to finance, but that wasn't all. He walked us out to the car and took us through so much of the programming. Sheila helped me sync my iPhone and provided all the detail for our ONstar connection. We have not been in a dealership for over 16 years! If this is the new way of purchasing a car, we love it! Thank you North County Buick, etc. for a very pleasant experience. P.S. Our Edward Jones investment rep had purchased a Cadillac from you and told us you were great!

On a recent trip from San Jose to San Diego, my 2008 GMC Acadia broke down. I brought it in to North County Buick and found out my SUV had a slew of issues. The fact of the matter is, it had been having problems for a couple of years however upon taking it to other GMC dealerships with no resolution it was only a matter of time. Brian my amazing service representative was very friendly and helpful in explaining the depth of problems my vehicle was having. Fortunately I had an extended warranty which Brian believed should cover most of the problems I was having. I was told it would take about a week and a half and was provided a loaner during this time, which was unexpected as no other dealer had ever taken care of me this way. Unfortunately what we came to find out is that this extended warranty company had essentially ripped me off and only covered less than 1/5 of the estimated cost. Brian did his best to work with my budget and offered me solutions, it was still incredibly expensive but I must say that thanks to the outstanding service I was given it was less painful. The car is now running much more smoothly. The battery died the following day and there is still work that I opted not to get done due to the cost, but it is up and running!

Service department has always made every visit from the most basic servicing of the car to the worst. Everyone is always very courteous and helpful. The dealership itself has been a very different story. Once, the lease was signed I have not had one person contact me to check on my experience. This could be because I have made it very clear that the 2013 Cadillac ATS I have has been the worst General Motors car I have ever owned. Pistons blew at 12,000 miles and the CUE system was just recently replaced, besides the numerous recalls (at least 8) for the car. Have owned GM cars for the last 40 years.Could not get help or answers from the GM Corporation when I contacted them regarding major issues. My plan was to lease a high end car and then purchase it at the end of the lease. Have my doubts on this now. Although I probably should keep the car now that the engine has been rebuilt and the Cue computer system has been replaced. Consumer Reports just published an article rating Cadillac as one of the ten worst cars to buy!! I couldn't agree more.

I brought my Tahoe in for a problem. I was serviced and returned to me and I went home. We discovered a new problem and I returned to North County late Friday afternoon. I was pressed because we were taking my grand daughter to Disneyland on sunday for her 4th birthday and I needed the Tahoe. George (service tech) worked frantically until closing time. Almost running between the car and the service bay, but he was unable to fix it. He did tell me though he would be in Saturday morning and continue to work on it. It turned out that the replacement part had been mislabeled and once he had the correct part the issue was resolved. Thank you George for a great job! And thanks to Larry (service advisor) for working with me on this issue.

I recently bought my 2015 Cadillac ATS from this dealership. They went above and beyond to find a car that I loved and my sales rep provided some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. When I walked in they immediately offered me a complimentary water bottle, donuts and coffee! After telling the sales guy what I wanted I sat in their comfortable waiting lounge while he pulled up the exact car I wanted. He went over EVERYTHING! He really made me fall in love with all the features of the car. Since it was a loaner car I also got a great deal. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealer to anyone.

We had a small issue with the electronic tire pressure sensor. Shortly after each of the last two services the right front tire sensor showed 0 pounds air pressure. We returned the car the next day and within a couple of minutes the sensor was reset. All was o.k. until this last service when the same sensor failed. It was corrected the next day, but then failed a couple of days later. We returned the car again and this time the sensor was replaced. This occurred about ten days ago. To date all is well.Our service appointments are taken care of on time. To date we are very satisfied with all services to date. Will be back as required. Hector was most helpful. My service and repair work was handled by "Hutch." I opted to wait for my car to be serviced but when it was apparent it would require ordering a part Hutch suggested I leave the car overnight. The service was close to excellent. One thing I noticed from the last couple of times I've taken my car in, is that it would be helpful when waiting for a service that takes more than an hour or so, to have the service rep. come and give us an update every so often. That'll provide us with a better idea of what's going on, and how to manage our time while waiting. Also, this dealership has been really good about owning up to their mistakes by compensating us with free service. That shows a lot of integrity, especially with reputations some dealers may have.

Any time I need my CTS-V worked on or I have routine service due I take it to North County Cadillac. Hutch in the service department is hands down the best. He always provides service with a smile and will bend over backward to help/accommodate you. He found that I had an outstanding recall that he took care of at that time. He did attempt to sell me a tire rotation package and I told him that Discount Tire rotates my tires free and therefore I would be paying for something I could get free. Other than that everything was perfect.

I made an appointment for maintenance service and my Cadillac got a next day service. The Service Advisor was prompt in coming out to meet me as soon as I got there. The service was completed in the time promised. The waiting room was comfortable with plenty of bottled water, good selection of coffee and mini doughnuts. My ATS had cracks in the integrated center CUE screen. Not the outer glass. In addition, I received a safety recall notice in the mail regarding the roof panel switch. I made an appointment and brought my car in. I was greeted within a few minutes of arrival by Todd. He checked the center screen and called the Service Manager over to my car to get his recommendation. The Service Manager quickly approved a replacement of the unit. Todd brought me in to the Service Department to write up my service order. He told me it would take approximately 2 days to complete the work including the safety recall issue. He provided a rental car. 2 days later my car was ready. It was washed while I received my completed paperwork. Todd was professional, caring and pleasant. Thank you, Todd for a pleasant experience.

The dealership has an excellent service dept and service dept manager. Having owned a high end vehicle I was reluctant to purchase a Buick. I have not been disappointed in the car or this service dept. The dealership is lacking in their customer outreach program. We were recently reached out to for a buy back of our car. It was the most confusing, mishandled transaction. Nobody seemed to know what the other sales person was doing. Needless to say, we are keeping our car. But I ask that if you go to this dealership and experience this, please let the owner know. The rest of the dealership and service dept. are of the highest caliber. Most important, I have been very happy with my Buick Lacrosse!

Beware of this Dealer's Finance Department Tactics. I just went through this scenario at this dealership 3 days ago. FACT 1: Dealers make more money on financing and extras than on the car itself.FACT 2: There is NOTHING a dealer can sell you that you cannot get elsewhere for a lot cheaper. Don't buy anything other than the vehicle.SCAM 1: You will be told that your credit score is lower than it actually is. This allows them to charge you a higher interest rate. 1% on a $30,000 loan over 6 years will cost you $1,800.The finance guy who all of a sudden is your best friend will tell you that he is going to help you out and get you a lower rate by dropping the interest rate by a half percentage... say from the phony 4.75% you qualified for to a 'low' 4.25%. Any credit union would charge you far less.SCAM 2: Now the finance guy has saved you money he will keep saying... "It's the same deal you agreed to". He will make small talk to sell you extended warranty. After all, if you are trading a car with 30,000 miles on it... and have only had it for 2 years... your factory warranty of 2 years or 24,000 miles... is going to expire... SAY NO TO EXTENDED WARRANTIES.Now he is going to start sliding bits of paper for you to sign. This is where you have to pay extra attention!SCAM 3: $15 Alarms are often installed by the dealer to lower their insurance costs. SAY NO. YOU DO NOT WANT THE $400 ALARM. They can remove it. He will argue that it is already part of the deal that you ok'd so there is no extra cost. Ask him to show you on the window sticker where the specific alarm he is mentioning is listed.SCAM 4: VIN ETCHING. So every car on the lot has already had the vin number etched on the glass! This is something you can do yourself with a $20 kit from any auto parts store. You don't have to pay for the VIN ETCHING. And the dealer in the next town has a vehicle without VIN ETCHING.This is the point where you should be seriously insulted and offended. Stand up and in a respectful tone say... 'OK. Look... this is not smelling right. I never agreed to pay for VIN ETCHING. I never agreed to pay for an alarm. I am going to go home, and I will call 'sales rep name' in the morning.The finance guy will act surprised. He will say... "wait.. wait. You are going to leave? But the car is prepped and ready. Your trade-in is already in the service department... blah blah blah." At this point... you can escalate this as much as you like... all the way to "Get me my car back here in 5 minutes before I call the cops."The finance guy at this point is going to walk out and 'see what they say'. He is really just walking around the corner... getting a swig of water... and think how to close the deal and stick you with SOMETHING usually GAP Insurance.He comes back and says... Look ok... it's a lot of stuff to take in... because we are great guys, we will not charge you for the Alarm or the VIN Etching. Obviously we cannot remove the VIN Etching but you will get a call from the service department to remove the alarm. This call will never come. If it does have them remove it at first service interval.SCAM 3: GAP Insurance. People will go back and forth about this... bottom line is... the finance guy is telling you between the lines that you have so grossly overpaid for this vehicle and that the minute you drive it off the lot its going to be worth $10k less than you paid for it. Some kid is going to slam into you on the way home... before your first payment is due and your insurance will cover the actual value of the car and you will be on the hook for the remaining $10k. No matter what refuse GAP INSURANCE. You can get the same thing from your insurance provider for a few bucks a month.Was this helpful? Buy a VET a coffee!

I have been trying to get a refund on our truck warranty for over 3 months now - 3 months! They haven't even submitted the paperwork, but assure me it will be done this time (we will see). The finance department doesn't return phone calls it seems until I call shouting on their voice mail. Not only have they seemed to find it difficult to pick up the phone and call us back, but they've also sent paperwork that got "lost" in the mail, and then just forgot to submit our claim all together. Bottom line, don't buy from them! They're great when they're selling a vehicle, but the aftercare is terrible. I hope this saves other people from the tremendous headache I've incurred from this experience.

I bought a car and within a month it was leaking transmission fluid, I called and the service dept took it right in, gave me a loaner and fixed it. They were very helpful, courteous and professional. I am very impressed with the team there. I am a new customer to the dealership but I'll continue to service my car there and go back to buy another car when I need one! We were quoted on the phone one price for the oil change and tire rotation, then was charged $20 more when time to pay. We told the cashier about the incident, and she argued and did nothing. She made us feel like we were trying to take advantage of the company and was not sympathetic from our point of view. This was disappointing.

After receiving a recall notice I made an appointment and brought my car in for service. I was informed there was a second recall notice of greater importance. After waiting for about an hour I was told the parts for the second recall would have to be ordered. A rental car was recommended at no charge while the work could be done on my car. The staff was very accommodating and professional. The service was completed in 3 days including an oil change and tire rotation. The customer service agent kept me informed during the process.

However we were not happy with GM with the on going problem with the headlights on the Acadia, This is a design flaw the headlights melt this is not a problem that we should have to fight GM about, this problem has been well document on other models of GM products. We would like it fixed permanently . We are tired of spending money on the same problem time after time... This is not Todd fault this is the product and the service.

OK, this would be about the third request to have classes on how to operate things in the car. I have never could get the Voice Recognition to work. Not sure if I am using the heater properly (hit the on button, but turn off the A/C)....The service crew suggested that I contact a salesperson for help. I think if that would be appropriate, there should be a schedule so we would not interrupt a sales.

Early in December, my wife and I decided to look for a new car in the Escondido Auto Center. North County Buick Cadillac GMC was the first dealership we visited. As I walked into their showroom, I found a car that was just perfect for me. We were greeted with a warm welcome, no pressure by the sales team. Questions were answered and we were asked if we wanted a test drive. We definitely loved the car, but promised ourselves we would not buy at the first dealership and would visit others. We left the dealership with all our questions answered and no pressure but a friendly we're here if you decide to purchase. We visited five other dealerships and did not receive the same service. We were actually completely ignored at the BMW dealership, not one word from an employee. We knew at that point, North County Buick Cadillac GMC was the dealership we wanted to buy from. The SERVICE and selection of vehicles is what sold us. We were treated very well by the entire team and have had the car for a month now and couldn't be happier. I am also happy to say, we just purchased another car from them last night. Two cars in 30 days and we couldn't be more pleased. A special "Thank You" to Boston and Xochitl for their patience with me and excellent assistance in the purchase of our new vehicles!

The service people are great. Too bad the car is not as great! For a luxury car there are too many oddities that can't be fixed - such as the fuel pump hose will not stay in the car while pumping gas unless held and the voice prompts can not have the quickest response time without returning to the longer voice prompt. Annoying little things that detract from the status of the overall car.

Breaking down on the freeway is not a thing you want to experience. After towing my 2010 GMC Terrain to the dealership, I didn't know what to expect. The SUV had only 46,000 miles on it. After letting my service advisor Larry Shoebridge know what was wrong with the SUV, he said not to worry and they where going to take care of it. Little did I know the worst possible nightmare had yet to come, the Transmission. Certain plates in the transmission were broken and needed to be replace. Lucky me I had bought the extended portfolio warranty when I bought the SUV. Larry had call the warranty department and re-assure me that the work was going to be cover. What a relief that was. Mr. Larry then proceeded to give us a rental car for the extension of the work needed to fix our SUV, that really help a lot. Mr. Larry kept me inform of the progress they were doing to the SUV. Finally, the SUV was fixed and I was up and running. Mr. Larry Shoebridge showed his professionalism in how to take care of a costumer. That's exactly why I own a GMC vehicle. Mr. Rogelio Rodriguez

The dealership did everything that needed be done on the car. They always do. What made this service memorable is the following: I live 20 miles away from the dealership. I was planning on riding my bike home while the car was being worked on. On my way home, I hit a piece of glass and slashed my rear tire, unable to fix it. I called the dealer, they picked me up and brought me back to the dealership. The owner asked what happened and volunteered to take me to a local bike shop (6-7 miles away) to get a hew tire. Off we went in his car, got a new tire and eventually rode home. The only thing they did not do was install the new tire on my bike :-)

Larry Shoebridge, my service tech, has always been responsive, but most importantly, HONEST. With all the press about cars and service, I must admit that North County GMC, from the purchase through ever service I have had, has been exceptional. Sometimes I have waited a while - my decision to do so - but the facilities, the staff and overall experience have all been great. The volume of vehicles passing through these big dealerships, must make for tired workers and sometimes unhappy customers but I have yet to experience anything but the best attitudes and service from day one. I did some shopping around. North County Cadillac was the easiest to deal with. They gave us the best price up front without having to hassle. Mike put together the package we wanted and in a couple of hours were were out of there. Next time I will go to North County Cadillac first. Love everything about my new car. The only complaint I have is the manual on Navigation is not extensive enough to teach me the system. It would be great to have a more extensive manual(s) on-line. I do not even know who made my navigation system.

We were made promises on the Certified service which was never performed. Like they put new brakes on it and 2 days after purchase had 50%. One of the headlights was out we noticed 30 minutes after we left dealership and got home. Nothing they told us is true except for we own the car now. Took the day off work, got a cashier check from bank, drove 2 hours to get the car. They had the car ready . the paperwork ready and as we are about to sign we notice the car is a DIFFERENT Model. They apologized for the SMALL confusion and quickly wrote a new form for the right model and $8000 dollars more. Then they bring a car from a different dealership . ust like previous patrons of this dealership i experience Blatant false advertisement and bait and switch . On line they advertised a used KIA optima 2013 ex leather sunroof and moon roof and navigation , for 21k i contacted the dealer right away and set up to purchase all thru email sent all my information had papers drawn up and drove 2 hours from L.A to Escondido after i got out of work to pay for the car (everything was drawn up i was just driving to give them my money) they had the car pulled up front . they open the car for me and it is not the car that was advertise. Vin numbers were the same the stock number was the same but this was an lx which is the base model but was advertised as ex which is top of the line. I have pictures of all this information even the deal that they tried to make me which was 8thousand dollars more . everyone was better apologetic admitted that they had posted the wrong description on the web site. I have reported them to the better business bureau and recommend you do the same if you have a similar experience www.sandiego.bbb.org it only takes few moments . yelp is here for us to help each other but the better business bureau is here to hold them accountable for they lack of ethics and indiscretion. i will gladly send pictures, emails and txts i have of all the information i have to anyone who request it . I am not exaggerating about my experience .Oh and FYI the KIA dealership across the street belongs to the same owner ....i would expect the same kind of business practice due to the fact that the sales man got the car from that lot . Sit back and enjoy this crazy tale...I only wish there were 0 stars to rate this car dealership. And I wish I had taken the time to read the Yelp reviews prior to going there. I am a person who does not take car buying lightly. I have not purchased a car in 8 years. I finally decided last night that I was ready to buy one, and I liked a Chrysler 300C on the lot here. My husband has been in contact with our sales guy for the last 2 weeks. Yesterday afternoon, the sales guy called my husband to say they still had the car. We decided that we would get the car if they could meet a certain price. My husband called the sales guy around 6:55 PM and said if they could get us into the car for that price, we'd be in to purchase it tonight. The salesman called back 2 minutes later and said he could meet that price. My husband said "It's a deal, and we will be right in." The salesman agreed. At 7:07, we even called to confirm they had a wireless connection so I could get some work done. So they clearly knew we were on our way. We arrived at 7:15...yes 20 minutes after our initial agreement because we live that far away. When we arrived, they told us...wait for it... they sold the car to someone else. Yep. Our sales guy had brought the car around front to get it ready for US, and another salesman, supported by the General Manager, forced our salesman to hand over the keys to someone who wanted to drive it. I really didn't know what to say. Thought it was a joke. So we made the manager, then the general manager come and explain. Why didn't anyone call us? Why didn't you hold the car for us? We had a verbal contract. All they could say was "we are sorry you didn't get a call" and "we had no legal obligation to hold the car for you." I stood there with my 6 year old son whose only words were "Why would they sell your car, Mom? That is not cool." I literally had to explain the concept of integrity and lack thereof. My 6 year old knows more about doing the right thing than these unprofessional, dishonest, bold faced liars. I am not posting this for revenge. I truly just don't want this to happen to anyone else.

I tend to approach dealerships with dread of having to 'play the game'. Never thought I'd buy a Cadillac. I am the sports car type. But after test driving the 2013 six-cylinder ATS, I was hooked. More perks than I have ever had in a car. Being a first time Cadillac owner I was unfamiliar with the car and all of the computer workings including the navigation system. I had an appointment to get the car clear coated and requested to see Lisa after it was finished. Although she was tied up at the moment (and I did not have a appointment with her) within a few minutes she made herself available to me for a complete in-service on the entire vehicle. She honestly spent over an hour with me. At that point in time, OnStar had still not sent me the required info via email so Lisa gave them another 'welcome' call while I was in the car. A week later, still no info from OnStar. I contacted Lisa again and by the end of the day I had all my information. I would also like to mention Amber in the service department. A very nice girl with a good attitude and efficient at her job. She was very helpful in my request to meet with Lisa. Amazing customer service.The clear coat on the car is beautiful, was done in the time expected and is done very well. I'm very pleased.I can't answer any of the questions regarding the sales experience or the Price of the car as hubby bought the car for me and paid cash.I love, love my new Caddy.
