This past October, I purchased a 2013 F-150 from the Otis Ford used car department. I was satisfied with my purchase until after two months and thirty-one hundred miles, I noticed excessive, uneven wear on the front tires. My initial impression was the camber was out of tolerance; however, upon professional evaluation it was toe that was out of adjustment. It was my hope that Otis Ford would stand behind their product and realign the front end, and I would deal with the tires. Hours after leaving Otis Ford I read the repair order/ receipt of work performed and came to realize that the service director authorized the replacement of both front tires. This was well beyond my expectations. This was my first purchase from Otis Ford which was a laid back, easy going, experi- ence; not at all aggressive and pushy which has been my experience elsewhere. I will recommend Otis Ford to everyone; This is a stand up company, with a professional staff. I cannot thank them enough nor can I give them enough stars for their exemplary service.

I had sold my house and was moving to California. The closing and the day I would leave was a Friday. On Wednesday I began having electrical issues with my 2011 Ford Econoline wagon. I called Otis which is about 30 miles away and they said bring the car in tomorrow morning, which I did. They got on the car right away and diagnosed it as a bad trailer brake control module, which was not an item kept in stock. Knowing that I had to leave on a trip the next day, Terry in the service department said" I'll overnight it if I have to" . The following day I packed all my remaining possessions in the van went to the lawyers for the house closing then on to Otis Ford where they promptly replaced the defective part.To top it off Terry found that this vehicle had an extended warranty purchased by the previous owner that I didn't know about .Terry sent me to Mark Latham and in about 15 minutes the warranty was transferred to me for a $75 fee.This was all done by Otis Ford in spite of my not buying the vehicle from them, nor the original owner buying from them, and knowing that I was moving across the country and would no longer be their customer. There are just not many dealers that give this level of service.I dought I'll find another dealership as good as Otis Ford.

I cannot say enough great things about Mark! There is a reason why he has all the awardsstacked in his office and hanging on his walls, he is truly a great salesman and all around good man from my experience with him in purchasing my Ford Expedition. We talked about the price they had advertised, he was a good negotiator firm but fair and he didnt make you feel like it was a fight to the death in the end I got a very fair deal and I think both felt good about it. My journey started 200+ miles from Otis Ford and the trip was well worth my time and effort. I had already gotten finance through a bank but when the proper paperwork didnt make it to me on time, I called Mark and with in a few hours he had secured new financing for me at a better rate all in less then 24 hours from me picking up my new vehicle. Mark didnt bother me with excessive phone calls and when he did call it was business friendly and to the point. I had to take the train to pick up my purchase since they were so far away and Mark even picked me up from the station on a Saturday afternoon. The Expedition was delivered to me as if it was a new car and the entire process was perfect.Otis Ford may not look like much from the outside but the people are what makes a business and these people are very very good at what they do.

I purchased a 2012 Ford Transit Connect from these people who came highly recommended from a friend. I drove an hour to buy my van from them, but I am glad I did. My van actually broke down. When I contacted Otis about this, they had a loaner towed to my home and my van towed to their shop. They repaired the van, delivered it to my business, and even topped off my gas tank. I highly recommend them. Anyone can sell a vehicle, but these great people stand behind their product. It is a family run business, and I truly respect them.

Working with Tom Silon at Otis Ford was a complete pleasure. From the very first email conversation I had with Tom he was very helpful in answering all my questions and providing me with fair and honest pricing up front. Not once throughout the process did I feel as if I was being mislead or pressured into something I did not want, something not common in car dealerships. Once all the paperwork was done, Tom took the time to review all the features of my new truck with me, helping me to set everything up before leaving the dealership. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Tom and Otis Ford and I will definitely be recommending him to any friends and family. What an easy transaction! I needed a two wheel drive Ranger, in Red, and even though Ford isn't making new ones anymore, Carl at Otis had one that was perfect for me. I had brought my previous vehicle for repairs at Otis Ford and was very satisfied with their customer service and the quality of the work performed. Naturally, when I turned that vehicle in at the end of the lease term this was where I started, and ended my search. If you want one word to describe the "Otis Ford Experience", it is personal. They spent weeks with me via phone, email and personal visits to determine the exact car that I wanted and made it happen. The Otis Ford team went out of there way, sometimes at very off peak hours to ensure that my vehicle of choice made it from the dealership of origin to their lot, and even called me as per my request to let me know the status! When I had a last minute meeting and could not pick up the car as we initially planned, they took the address I was at and brought the car to me because I would have had to wait another week with a borrowed car to come pick it up. Simply put, if you want to find the vehicle that is right for you at a price that fits your budget, head over to Otis and see what I am talking about. My 2013 Taurus Limited is now the envy of many friends and relatives; It gets much more attention than the BMW 335 I turned in!

IF not for particular used car that I want. I will not ever buy or recommend this dealer. The salesman was not friend right from the start. Confusing price quotes. Salesmen was not attentive with the sale. Frankly I don't think they even care if the sale go through. After the sale, my used car was not register properly by the dealer. As result, my plate was suspended by the DMV. I talked to Jennifer, who deal with registration. To my frustration, they constantly tell me "don't worry and everything is fine." I have to visit DMV twice and make dozen of phone calls to realize everything is not fine and my plate is still suspended. Instead of trying to resolve the problem ASAP, I had to call several time to remind them to call DMV to resolve the issue. I understand they are busy this time of the year, but my license plate is suspended. I can't really drive to work. I was disappointed that there was no urgency to help me resolve. This is just not acceptable.

I live in Northwest NJ, but while surfing the internet found the perfect used car for my wife at Otis Ford in Long Island. Because the dealership was so far from my house the negotiations had to be largely via email and phone, including agreeing on a value for my trade-in. Reaching a deal based solely on photos and descriptions requires a fair amount of trust on both sides. It was crucial that the salesman take the time to answer my questions accurately based on the faith that I was a serious buyer. Carl Vail was willing to work with me in this manner. We negotiated a price; I drove out to Long Island in the trade-in and back home in my wife's (almost) new car. No tricks, no surprises. The deal reached was the deal made. My 10 year old Volkswagon was on its last legs and I went searching the internet for a new car. I had sort of settled on Ford because a few employees where I work have them and love them and I was also happy to see an American car company doing well that didn't need a government bailout.I did most of my research online and even picked out the car I was going to purchase from the Otis Ford dealership. I received a call from Carl Vail regarding the car and inviting me to come down to setup a test drive and complete the paperwork. When I got there I saw a different model Focus that interested me more than the car I had picked out online. Carl was able to work the numbers in order to get the price below the original car and secure a few hefty rebates and 0% financing. They took care of everything including contacting my insurance company and getting my current plates switched over. This is something most dealers avoid and just tell you you should get new plates which end up costing more in the end.Overall the experience was way better than other dealers I have been too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and there was no hard sell. Carl Vail was very helpful and had adequate knowledge of the car model I was interested in. This dealership was recommended to me and ultimately I would definitely recommend this dealership to others.

It's not often that you hear the words "honorable", "reputable", and "highly recommended" used when describing a car dealership, but those words aptly describe Otis Ford of Quogue, New York and more! I will describe not only my excellent treatment when buying our Ford Edge, but I will ALSO describe some findings we came across of the previous dealer (NOT Otis Ford) as we went through the trade-in process and subsequent Sales process. So, sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and read on....My wife and I went to Otis Ford because my wife wanted a bigger vechicle. Her 2008 Honda Accord ran well, performed well, but overall just wasn't what she wanted. She asked my opinion and because I absolutely love my 2011 Ford Fusion, I highly recommended that she take a trip with me to Otis Ford so she could look over the vehicles there and find something that was bigger than the Honda Accord. (Side Note: My 2011 Ford Fusion was purchased brand new from Mike Curreri of Otis Ford back in April 2011 and every part of that sale was fantastic).So, we went to Otis Ford, sought out Mike Curreri, and looked at different vehicles. My wife fell in love with a 2010 Ford Edge. Here was a vehicle that was the right side, and more importantly, had all the "bells and whistles" that she wanted. We sat down with Mike Curreri and did all the paperwork. Otis Ford appraised my wife's 2008 Honda Accord at a more than fair price for trade-in. Mike was able to get a loan through Ford Credit. In short, we took delivery yesterday of our Ford Edge and we are very happy with the vehicle.NOW... HERE IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING....... Today (Tuesday, November 6, 2012), I decided to bring my 2011 Ford Fusion in for an oil change ("The Works" package) since no appointment was needed. While at Otis Ford, Mike found me and said, "Oh, I have something VERY interesting to show you, and you'll end up happy because you are getting money back." Money back??! I was all ears.It turns out that when my wife purchased her 2008 Honda Accord from a local Honda Dealer (Apple Honda of Riverhead, New York), the salesman, and most likely the "loan writer" or as I call him "guy in the separate office that does all the paperwork" (which is something NOT done at Otis, which is a GOOD thing), they tacked on EXTRA cost incurring items that we did NOT know about! There were FOUR (4) add-ons that we did NOT know about (they never explained in detail and just put the paperwork under my wife's nose to sign) that the Honda dealer tacked on: (1)A Zurich extended warranty (which is NOT a Honda warranty) that cost a LOT extra (in the neighborhood of $2000); (2) a completely separate insurance policy by Virginia Surety Company AND TD Auto Finance that was there to cover the fact that if the theft deterrant system failed to work properly and the vehicle suffered damage/theft, it would be covered!!; (3)NSD Motor Club Key/Remote Relacement Coverage; and the best (4)the Paintless Dent Repair Program (huh??!? Paintless dent repair?!?! What's that? A plunger on the door that pulls out the dent???).NOW GET THIS.... The Honda Dealer told us, and listed on the NYS Retail Certificate of Sale that the vehicle cost $15,327.00 which is what we were told. BUT... and this is a BIG BUT... on all the financing paperwork the vehicle is listed at $18,693.00! $3366.00 went south someplace!!! But.. because the Honda Dealer conveniently set up automatic deductions from my wife's bank account for the loan payments, it wasn't picked up....... UNTIL, Mike Curreri of Otis Ford just happened to get curious at some discrepancies that he found.AND... Mike on our behalf, and with our blessing, contacted the Zurich extended warranty place and was able to get us a pro-rated REFUND of the money we spent and NEVER NEEDED TO in the first place. So... we will be getting a check back from the Zurich company for that oversight.I don't know of any other salesman nor dealership that would rise ABOVE AND BEYOND like Mike of Otis did for us.So... to sum up my long "novel" here.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Otis Ford for your purchase. DON'T let the fact that they are out east on the Island in Quogue dissuade you from going to Otis to buy your car. The HONESTY and INTEGRITY that they show to their customers will make you walk away please and satisfied at your purchase.And finally... I do NOT work for Otis Ford or any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, or anything like that. NOR did anyone pay me to write this. I took the time out of my day to sit and type all this because of how we were "burned" by Honda, and it was found out by the Salesman (Mike Curreri) at Otis Ford when he didn't even have to do it.We will return for future vehicle purchases to Otis Ford, and I recommend you do the same!

Bought a used 2011 ford flex from Lou Caponi today. Also got to meet charlie Wyatt.It was such a pleasure to deal with such a true gentelman. The whole no pressure sale and delivery went so smooth, Lou took a tremendous amount of time to explain every detail of the car and invited us to come back to a class for more information if we need it. This is a class dealership. There were also two ladies one was Kathy and I'm sorry can not remember the second ladies name who greeted us at the door but they were equally nice. My parents have been using Otis for years. Matter of fact I bought my first vehicle from Charlie way back in 1993, a Ranger XLT pickup truck that was rock solid. Got me through Community College, SUNY Albany, and NYU.When I needed a replacement car a few years ago, i drove 80 miles to Otis and bought a 2007 Taurus which was an excellent family vehicle until my wife's Corolla died. traded in the Taurus for a 2013 Focus that is just an amazing automobile, that's MADE IN AMERICA (Michigan to be exact by Union Labor, something that was important to my family).I recommend this dealership because its been providing the same level of service, satisfaction (excellent) all the while maintaining a professional, no bull, and stable atmosphere. Hell some of the people I know there have been there for years! Try that at any other dealership. You cannot buy continuity and Otis is just in a class by itself when it comes to consistency in delivering their products and handing customer's needs.

Tom and Lou were extremely courteous and accomodating throughout or entire car purchase. They provided us with a loner car, free of charge, until our new car came in, and they made sure everything was perfect when we came to pick up the car. Lou even took some time to walk us through the basics of the SYNC system to make our transition even easier. I was dealing with a different dealer near my home & was about to pick up a new 2013 Ford Exployer that day when that dealer said they would not accept a bank check I got from my credit union at a lower rate, I told them I was using my Credit Union for the financing but they wanted me to use theirs. At that point I did not trust them & my wife & I were very fustrated & disappointed. I took a trip out to Otis Ford and was introduced to Mark Layburn and he saw that I was fustrated as I explained my previous experience from the other dealer. Mark was nothing but professional, helpful & kind. Mark was able to give me the vehicle that we wanted with better options and a better deal. I brought my wife back with me that Wednesday and Mark let us go for a test ride (previous dealer never even offered us to test drive), my wife loved the vehicle and felt comfortable dealing with Mark. In just talking & mentioning that I work for UPS, Mark helped us look up the UPS X-Plan Partner & was able to take more money off which paid for the extended warrently. We felt Mark went above and beyond with working with us to get into our new vehicle and was able to take it home that mext day. Mark walked us thru all the features on the vehicle & was patient with our questions, he even gave us a full tank of gas. I would recommend Otis Ford & Mark to all my family & friends, even the receptionist was very professional & friendly. Mark turned our car buying experience from a bad one to a trustworthy one. Thanks Mark, we just wish we went to Otis Ford first. We love our new truck.

I do not live in the same town as Otis Ford. My mother grew up the road a bit, but her family of 10 kids could never afford a car!! We grew up in Sag harbor NY; about 40 minutes away. My dad bought his first new pick up ever here, back in 1966, and was treated like gold, by the present owner as a new salesman under his father's wing. I saw a car that I had been looking for on their lot, and saw it on the internet. It was a 3 year old used car that would suit my needs for the home inspection business that i have been in for years. I walked inside and spoke to a gentleman named Mark Laydman, who was involved with some other business, but never was curt or rude. He answered the questions I had, and I said I would return with my trade in etc. I came back the next week, and he remembered me right off, had my number etc. I had done sales for many years, but never felt hustled or pressured. No slick routine. He came off as a real "guy", and a good father just trying to take care of his family like me. I must say he treated me as if I was buying the best Lincoln on the lot. He let me take the car home to East Hampton so my wife could see if she was comfortable in it with her bad back. Luckily she was, because I loved the car!! When i returned it, they said i could pick it up after the weekend. I had mentioned that the wheel wobbled some, and after they had balanced the tires and aligned it, they went back and cut the rotors on the spot. The young mechanic Steve was wonderful. 4 stars all the way. I know several people that have been to this dealer, and they are all very pleased with all facets of this dealership. I am once again totally satisfied with the superb service provided by Mike. We needed a car in a pinch as my husbands transmission went on his car. We have been dealing with Otis ford for over 10 years, and my In-laws have also been longtime customers. When we were ready to go look for a car, I told my husband to call and make sure Mike is working. It was Tuesday before Fourth of July and I was worried about him being off for the holiday week. When we found out he was there we came right down. Mike set up several Fusions for us to test drive. No pressure as always! He had them all lined up with the air conditioning running :). We test drove three and then we went home to think about it. On Thursday 7/5, we came back to make our purchase. Mike was very informative and helped us make this decision with ABSOLUTELY No pressure!!! I knew right away when we needed this car that Mike at Otis would get us through it with ease. Mark and the whole staff went to all extremes to get me into a super duty that fit my needs, being able to tow a 5th camper and a commuter truck.I had been in an accident a 2 weeks prior to delivery and had a trip 2 days after delivery of the vehicle. They called me to make sure that the hook up for the camper went well.

I am able to rate that I am highly satisfied with Otis Ford, and the employees mentioned, today and for the past 23 years. My parents before that for another 23! I receive high quality service (maintenance and problems), and high quality advice from the service advisors and sales professionals. Imagine the first new car you are shown being the best match for you! Imagine when you have a problem and worry it could be an expensive solution (and might be in other venues), to learn that the diagnosis and the cost are not as bad as you think! Imagine knowing some of your friends pay more because they didn't go to the Otis Ford dealership! And whether or not a problem arises, Otis Ford people are always a pleasure to work with. Words can't express how great the OTIS Dealership were in helping me with my new car purchase. Mr. OTIS and Mr.Caponi went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience ordering and receiving my new ford Mustang. They new how important it was to me and they took pictures as it came off the trailer, removed the stickers without destroying them and keeping them in perfect shape for my documentation records. They spent time explaining all the features to me and it was just a great experience. I traveled ~30 miles to work with them because from my first contact with them I felt a connection. If I were to buy another Ford I would travel the 30 miles again to deal with them.

Traded in my jeep for a used Ford focus got great trade in value for the jeep and great price on the focus. Tom was in touch thoughout the whole process and was very helpful. When I picked up the focus I noticed the tires were a little worn in back I called tom and he told me to come right it and they swapped them out for brand new ones they apologized for not seeing it and had it fixed in a quick and timely manner. I have recommended this dealership to friends as well. I also brought my truck in for rhino lining I was quoted low for it but they still honored the lower price. Great dealership that tries its best for customer satisfaction.

This dealership has a very welcoming atmosphere in both sales and service. While waiting for our new vehicle delivery we were having our other vehicle serviced at the same time. A very nice young man Chris Rizzo helped us. It was a great service experience.I would highly Recommend the Sales Person Thomas Silon also. He was very professional. We will be getting another vehicle from this dealer in July 2012.

Most recently I turned in my 2010 Edge for a 2012 Edge. The process was incredibly simple! Mike requested some basic information and had me show up two days later for me to pick up my new car. It took me longer to move my personal items from my old car into the new one than do the paperwork for the lease....incredible!!!I also have experienced the Otis Ford service department during my prior lease. Frank and the personnel at Otis were outsanding! The service department made it very easy to get service and were very helpful with times, alternate transportation and speed of service. I'm very happy I made the choice to go to Otis Ford.....

In my hesitant search for a new family vehicle, i started locally.....car buying can be a scary thing and i was unsatisfied by the seemingly shady/secretive way the salesman in my neighborhood dealership was acting, so ...i travelled further east to Otis Ford, where I should have began....as i've always only heard good things. They made my experience as pleasant as can be, informing and educating me in every area of the car buying experience, never making me feel pressured and i couldn't be happier with the the results....even our routine maintenance has been a pleasure, with a wonderful service department.....sitting comfortably sipping coffee, by the time Judge Judy laid down the law, my car was ready and waiting. Nothing wrong with looking around, but I definitely recommend Otis.

Purchased a 2011 Ford Escape from Mike Curreri. From the minute my wife and I walked through the door, of this dealership, we were treated with respect. What I loved the most about dealing with Otis Ford was Mike showed us the different vehicles we wanted to see, he discussed the extras, the warranties, and he handled the financing; there was no "finance person", who we all know tries to squeeze more out of you. There was no pressure selling and he took the time to answer all of our questions. One thing is obvious, this dealership is located on Montauk Hwy, in Quogue, there is no way they have stayed in business all of these years with just drive by traffic. After my experience it is obvious they receive many return customers and referrals. I have already highly recommended Otis to my family and friends and definitely will be a repeat customer many years to come. Thanks again Mike.

I purchased a new F-150 back in December 2009. The whole experience was very good, stress free, and almost seemed too easy. I just brought it in for the 5,000 mile oil change and check up and they did it very quick and professionally. I was always told to not get your car serviced by a dealer as they always inflate the prices, and try to get you to service things on your car that don't necessarily need service. Otis Ford in East Quogue, NY made me throw that thought out the window completely! Not only are they courteous, but their customer service reps are very knowledgeable and keep you well informed of everything going on with your vehicle. The service is fast, and their prices can't be beat. As long as I own a car, I will continue to have it serviced at Otis.

The folks at Otis are very friendly and helpful. They completely looked over my Smart Car and found there was a warranty issue which they alerted to me to bring to my dealership to get repaired and covered. They took great care to look at all the other major areas during the oil change process to ensure everything was covered (even though it's not a Ford vehicle). I was very impressed and will certainly bring all my car business to them. I was especially impressed with the service staff - Chris and Frank were wonderful to work with and explained everything to me.

By far, this is the best Ford Dealership I have ever dealt with. I have been a Ford owner since 2000. I purchased my F150 in Sayville, Escape in Babylon, and Focus in Bayshore. The quality of service and customer support I have recieved at Otis Ford is by far the best on the Island. None of these other places have the same level of customer service. Keep up the great work!

Otis Ford willfully misrepresented the vehicle as having optional equipment and warranty coverage. They also agreed to correct 7 deficiencies, only 2 were and only one properly. This was over a month ago and despite the promises of the owner most of the problems are still not corrected. They even tried to say I bought the vehicle "as is" which was a lie. Lou Caponi the sales manager told me had authorized repairs but when asked to put it in writing he refused. No honor here. Caveat emptor...

Mr. Otis himself lied to me about several things. I traveled over 250 miles to buy a car they did not even have. Then he tried to sell me another car with far fewer options for the same money. Then he had his underlings try to cover for him. These guys are nothing but crooks.

I recently purchased a 2010 F-150 pickup truck from Otis Ford in Quogue, NY. I was quite pleased with the entire transaction, on multiple fronts.First, Otis gave me a competitive price compared with other Ford dealerships in the area.Second, my salesman, Michael Curreri, was very patient with me while we worked to find the exact truck I wanted. I was fairly picky about specific options I wanted, and it was not in their inventory. Mike was able to find exactly what I was looking for.Third, and probably most important, I never felt pressured from Mike at any time to "close the deal". Other dealerships I visited turned me off with their high pressure tactics, and sometimes they acted as if my business wasn't important to them. Besides a home, buying an automobile is probably the largest purchase most people will make. Having trust in the people you are doing business with is extremely important. I felt a level of comfort at Otis that is hard to find in any car dealership. If you are in the market for a new car, I would strongly recommend you visit Otis Ford before you make your final decision.

I have been using this dealership since we moved to the east end of Long Island, over 10 years ago, with great reliability & trust. As a long time Ford person, I of course have a choice of dealers. There are two others in close proximity to my home, with one as close as the next town, however they did not make me feel like I was their reason for being there, but rather just trying to sell me something, anything, even if it was not what I had discussed I was looking for. If you have a service issue & it's not resolved completely, they will make it right, every time (I even had an officer of the company call me at home one evening, just to be sure my issue had been resolved to my satisfaction). With many loaner replacement courtsey vehicles & a free car wash to boot, you really gotta feel good about your experience when you leave Otis. Both my wife & I buy & lease from Otis Ford. With three successful experiences in the last few years explains why I just bought my new 2010 Explorer there as well.
