Overall fantastic service. Diego was taking a while to return to his desk and a co-worker delightfully filled in to assist me until Diego returned and took over. That's taking customer service to a high level just to keep the customer happy. I like the bonus of a car wash at the end.

If you are planning to buy toyota then be careful!! I bought Toyota Camry from Ourisman Toyota Dealer Fairfax, I have made the worst decision of my life buying a Toyota car. I never thought I would feel this helpless and neglected by buying a car from such well-known company. Even Dollar store has a better service recovery than Toyota. So I bought my car in Jun 2016. So it has hardly been 2 months and my car doesn't have much mileage on it either. I have safe driving history too.I was driving New Hampshire Road Rout 3 suddenly my front wheel passenger side wheel blast, my car went to other side of road. I was about killed; I got scared and nearly missed hitting a car on other side. After pulling safe side I called to Ourisman Toyota Fairfax they didnt picked my call then immediately I call to Toyota customer service they tell me that the roadside assistance and talk with dealer (ourisman) and About tire replacement she just took a note of my problem and said that and she is saying that I have to show that tire to nearest dealer what does that mean am I lying? I was almost killed. She transfer my call to Ourisman Toyota Fairfax and I talk with a guy even he dint try to listen he hang up the phone (check from call recording) again called to same dealer they weren't not listening After few days Toyota call me and and ask me to tell brief about incident i told same thing and he ask me did you bought extra warranty i said no then we arent responsible for anything that tire is not our!! we dont entertain this complain its happen because of Michelin toyota do not have any kind relationship with this company. Naturally, you think you need the review. I, like others, are very happy with the service we receive at your dealership. When I have felt the need to complain about something, I went to the manager of the service department and asked for his help. Whatever my problem was, it was fixed to my satisfaction. So well did you fix the problem, I forgot what the problem was. Keep up the good work!

We have 2 Toyotas and always use Ourisman Fairfax Toyota when we need dealership service. Nick Agrella is always kind, professional, and highly competent. He provides the best customer service we have ever received at any auto sales or service business. It is actually a pleasure to take the car to them. Even if it is just a national recall with no cost, Nick will offer a free wash and interior vacuuming. Also, they have good donuts.

We had wonderful customer service from our Representative, Nick Agrella. He was very professional and assured us timely service for the 40,000-mile checkup. Nick has been very fair with pricing and always returns the car in just-washed condition. On the rare occasions additional work is needed to be done, Nick calls and prioritizes so we can make educated decisions. The Service Department is very well organized and each Staff Member / Technician is courteous and gives you their immediate attention. The service area is immaculate and well run. The quality of the work is A++ and we have purchased and serviced all of our Toyotas with Ourisman since the early 1990's. Thank You to Nick and the entire Service / Sales Team at Ourisman for keeping up your High Standards. . :)

Here are my feedback with my previous purchase of Toyota Corolla LE 2016. I would definitely recommend you as a sales consultant you did a exceptional job from the moment we are looking for the location you were very approachable and accommodating to us you made an effort on meeting and waiting us outside while we were looking for the dealership location. The process was very quick, it only took couple of hours the price negotiation interest even it was still very high for me which I understand since I am just new here in US and doesn't have any earnings for the credit score yet and I appreciated that you help me to sort this out and I hope the monthly interest rate will go down soon once Im earning my credit score and I will pay on the right time, the business manager and Tony was helpful in order for me to get the car. The place was pretty fine, neat and organize. I was able to drive my car on the day and got my car insurance as well since there was a consultant inside the dealership who helped me a lot. Overall it was great experience to purchased my car at your dealership, one thing I was just bit disappointed as well as my Dad was when the time we were negotiating with the business manager, I know its hard to decide for car specially if you are on the negotiation for the price, and it will take time to decide because I'm still trying to sort out everything for the decision however the Business Manager told us "I thought we will work this out today" that word just frustrates me and my Dad as a customer service experience he was bit out of his patience on waiting for me to decide that time I know its getting busy but its how it goes. After that everything goes smoothly after I decided. I also have the claim discount for my company since Im working in United Airlines and I asked for that how does it applies on the car which I want to purchase, but I think my question and claim discount was totally forgotten. Anyway this is my summary for my whole experience, I apologies for the late feedback. I salute you Tony for being very helpful we appreciated it so much. I will come back to your dealership soon for the maintenance and check up. Have a great day!

I have purchased Corolla with help of a wonderful sales person QUI. He provided me the exceptional customer service with kindness and professionalism. Even after I picked up the car, he tried to help me several times. I know he is there always for me even after the sales has ended. The finance manager was really informative and explained everything I need to know and recommended me the several options. But he never pushed to purchase any of the options like other dealers did. I will not think about purchasing Toyota in any other place but Ourisman. Ourisman is the BEST!!!!

A referral from an Admiral of another Embassy brought us to the dealership. We needed to change two vehicles. I went together with my boss the Naval Attache, back in 2005. My boss went there with no intention of closing any deal that day, but after checking the possibilities, we had to opportunity to finish the day with a much better deal, then the one we were having with another brand.Since then we have been leasing vehicles with just that dealership. Several of the Argentine Navy personnel working in Washington went there to deal with Tony Armendariz, like we did in the first place. Tony looks at us and greets with his: How are you doing? And we say: (Queremos un auto con las 3 Bs: Bueno, bonito y barato! We want a 3 Bs car: Good, beautiful, and inexpensive). And no matter if it was a new car or a pre-owned one. Tony always managed to get the people who went there happy with the deal. There were times that issues happened, like when a Senior Chief Petty Officer bought a used Ford Windstar with Tony. Some time after that, the VCR stopped working. I still remember how weird sound to me when explaining to the SCPO that it was probably unrealistic to have it repaired, but Tony having had closed at least five deals with us in the last twelve months, got the SCPO happy with a new DVD player.I dont recall similar situations with the Toyota vehicles that we purchase, but the brand is known for their reliability.Last week we changed our Camry, and Tony is still there, with the same good relationship with us, as when we started. I know Tony's name. At the Service Department, we have also a wonderful woman who always takes care of us in a great way, I had never had the need to speak for a long time with her, and probably that it's why now I don't remember her name. We always got everything done in a proper way. I know that this review with over ten years of dealing with a truly exceptional dealership is long overdue, but I'm finally getting it done. I would also like to mention Taye, who has also been very helpful on numerous occasions when our negotiation options were very narrow. Both together have been working for years making sure that we continue coming to them to renew our leases, and to purchase our cars.Thank you guys!Guillermo SanchezEmbassy of Argentina - Naval

I was looking for a new car for my wife, so we stopped at Ourisman Toyota in Fairfax... a stop which ended being an awesome experience. I must confess that looking for a Toyota was not necessarily my first choice, but a good friend had strongly recommended I check out the RAV4, more importantly he recommended I stop by Ourisman Toyota in Fairfax because "they are not pushy and they are very professional and will patiently work with you". So, we arrived and greeting us in a very friendly and professional manner was Mr. Jaime Alvarado. Not only was he friendly and professional, he listened to what we were looking for... he asked several pointed questions about what were our expectations in wanting a new car, etc. Bottom line, we wanted a cute, reliable and safe small SUV. Mr. Alvarado was very patient... he even allowed us to road test the car. Frankly, we bought the RAV4 not just because we wanted a new car, but we bought a Toyota RAV4 which wad 3rd in our list of choices... which ended up being our No. 1 choice and we're extremely happy. Our decision to purchase the new RAV4 was greatly influenced by Mr. Alvarado's friendly and very sincere and professional approach. It was simply an awesome experience! Please commend Mr. Alvarado for being so awesome, committed and loyal to Ourisman and for providing outstanding customer service. Thank you.

After talking with several dealerships in the DC area, I found working with Bhadra Shah at Ourisman Fairfax to be the best experience of all. He allowed me to take my time in making a decision without pushing. His focus was on ensuring that my family needs were met in the purchase of the 2016 Prius. He took his time in explaining the features of the car. When I needed time to think about the purchase, he didn't push me to make a decision, he told me to take my time. He worked closely with the manager (Gaurav) to ensure I got the deal I wanted. When I decided to purchase the car the next day, he came in on his day off, made sure the car was clean and all the extras installed. I would highly recommend Bhadra (Salesman), Gaurav (manager), and the finance person from Brazil any day of the week. Some dealerships make the experience of buying a car feel like a transaction. This dealership and salesman never made it feel like a transaction.

From the time that I purchased my 2015 Highlander in late 2014 p, through every occasion that I've brought my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance, Ourisman Toyota has provided excellent service. There are actually three or four Toyota dealerships closer to my home and place of business, but I prefer to take that longer drive to get not only great service, but the personal care as I've always been shown by Ourisman staff!

We have been all over searching for the right vehicle. We visited many dealerships and hands down this dealership was the most professional. Tony (our salesman) was very responsive with our phone calls and texts back and forth with questions as we were 2 hours away so we had lots of questions before driving that distance. When we arrived we were greeted by a couple of different salesman that were very polite and got Tony for us right away. Then Tony asked if we wanted coffee, expresso, latte, water or a soda. He already had the car out ready to go when we arrived. We were also greeted by Bernie (Sales Manager) with a friendly hand shake and smile. Tony was extremely knowledgeable about the 4runner we were looking at, as if he had gone through the car so he could answer questions. As I said earlier we have been to many dealerships (other Toyota dealerships, Honda dealerships etc) and none of the salesman were half as knowledgable on their product than Tony and Bernie. Later we met Emmad (finance manager) and he was just as nice and knowledgeable. The entire car buying experience at this dealership was TOP NOTCH!!! I would highly recommend them.

I purchased my car from Orisman Fairax Toyota back in 2005... Car is in excellent condition. I got a recall notice in the mail stating that it would be taken care of completely at no charge to me. I have errands to run and things to do. You didn't want to wait for 2 hours to get it fixed. They wanted me to pay 5 $ for the loaner car !!! The car problem and recall is not my mistake and I have to pay to be able to run my errands... The manager would not budge "its policy "... Well I know I am due for a new car, and I know it will not be from Orisman Fairfax Toyota...

If you must have your vehicle serviced at Ourisman Fairfax Toyota be sure to take a full set of photos of your vehicle and any exterior and interior accessories. You may need the photos later. When my Rav4 went in for front airbag replacement, the vehicle was returned to me with a different spare tire cover at the back of the vehicle. When I brought this odd situation to the attention of the Parts and Service Director, his immediate response was a challenging Who Says? By the way, because of the fragment grenade airbag recall, my Rav4 was brought in for replacement of the airbag and mechanism. I was told in the recall notice and by the Ourisman Service team that it could be months before a solution and parts became available. Several days later, when I was out of town in for the Labor Day holiday, the Ourisman Service Team called and told me that the job was complete and that I had to immediately return the loaner vehicle guaranteed by the recall notice or get charged full rental fees for it. I didnt realize that their view was that I was supposed to remain in the area and wait for an indefinite time until they were ready to give me an early and unexpected surprise phone call. These and other circumstances lead me to recommend that you deal with a different dealer or be prepared for a potentially adversarial relationship, at least if you have to deal with the Service Personnel who were assigned to me.

I was told in the recall notice and by the Ourisman Service Team that it could be months before a solution and parts became available. Several days later, when I was out of town in for the Labor Day holiday, the Ourisman Service Team called and told me that the job was complete (within a few days!) and that I had to immediately return the loaner vehicle guaranteed by the recall notice or get charged full rental fees for it.

We recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle and worked with Tony Armendariz. Tony offered exceptional customer service. We did not feel pressured into making the deal, and he worked with us in answering all of our questions and concerns. Tony is patient, responsive and very pleasant to work with. He made our car buying experience very positive.

I sat for over an hr and 1/2 just for an oil change. Then they came out with their recommendations and said I would need breaks soon so why did they give me a price WITH rotors if my breaks are still good? Then with their recommendations they mentioned the a/c. I told them I didn't want anything else done I was ready to go. I had finally got my car back and the next day went to use my a/c and it didn't work BUT it worked when I dropped it off, never had a problem with it. And if they ask if you want your car "washed" just say no because all they do is spray water on it!! I hope they didn't think I was taking my car back there for my a/c. And most (not all) of their reps in the front have poor attitudes. Forget OURISMAN Fairfax Toyota!!!!!!

Let me start by saying this, I come from a long line of sales professionals and I have a pretty clear understanding of the buying and selling process and what a buyer's experience should be when making a purchase. I know BS when I see it and can smell its stench a mile away. I know what I want, how much I'm willing to pay and will NOT make a major purchase just because I like the item that much, the price has to be rite. In short, I'm not an emotional buyer. With all of that being said, Tony is the MAN (HOW YOU DOIN) in his voice!!!! He is honest, friendly and seems to genuinely care about what I was looking for in a vehicle. My initial conversation with Tony was over the phone and we discussed the features and specs that I desired to have in a vehicle and how much I wanted the bottom line to be at closing. From that point Tony went to working on finding the perfect vehicle for me! By the time I arrived at the dealership, he had already pulled a vehicle that was almost EXACT to what we discussed. I was very impressed that he actually listened and took the time to prepare for my arrival. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, I asked him if he could pull a vehicle that I saw online and there was another vehicle on the lot that I wanted to test as well. Tony explained that the online vehicle was at another location about 30 minutes away, but agreed to send someone to pick it up for me. After test driving 3 vehicles, and discussing the pros and cons of each vehicle, I was satisfied and came to the conclusion, out of the 3 vehicles that I tested, the one that Tony picked out was the best option! In my opinion the best sales professional is honest, listens to the customer, and does the best that he/she can do to deliver. Tony provided a great balance of all three! Tony and his Sales Manager Pete, who was also very accommodating, were able to crunch the numbers to get me a deal that was very pleasing. I know that this was not an easy task but they worked VERY hard to make sure that I was happy, and I am! My only reason for giving them a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the deal was not made during my first visit, and I had to come out of my pocket just a little bit and really didn't want to. BUT that's the nature of the business that I don't particularly care for and is just my personal bias. I wish there was a 4 1/2 star option because that's what I would give. I would confidently refer my family and friends to Tony he is the real deal!!!!

Recently I took my 2008 Camry LE to Ourisman Fairfax for a multipoint inspection which I bought from another dealer few days before. There was a whirring noise and the technician from Ourisman did a test drive with me and realized the same. I told them to check the tires if that is causing the noise. They said they will check everything and let me know. They don't charge for multipoint inspection. After 2 hours they came with a report and told me that my car has many issues: Left front wheel bearing needs to be replaced, front rotor needs to be resurfaced, alignment needs to be done and oil filter needs to be changed. Estimate was around $900. Since I already had 1 month / 1,000 miles warranty from the dealer where I bought, I preferred to take my car there. The dealer where I bought the car - they rechecked my car and showed me all the maintenance they did before selling the car and found that the left front tire is making the noise - not the bearing. They also showed me the rotors are clean and resurfaced before they sold the car. I replaced the tire and everything is nice and noise was gone. What I want to make a point here is - don't buy what this Ourisman fairfax dealer is telling you. They will rip you off. I almost got ripped off. But I was lucky not buying their story.

Worst dealership. Oil change for Camry car took more than 2 1/2 hrs and their website misleads and their customer service rep said that service would be done immediately and if it is going to take more time, they would provide free rental car for 1 day as advertized in the website. But the sales Rep "Nick" so arrogant and rude and said I have to wait for 1 to 1 1/2hr or pay and get the rental car. But eventually i ended up waiting for more than 2hrs and it is total nightmare. I strongly suggest people look for alternate dealers around Fairfax.

We recently went in to have two recall notices taken care of at the dealer. They were friendly to meet and called in the afternoon to tell my son the recall work was complete but the brakes, tires, battery, and rotors needed replaced. He didn't understand the issues and thought they were talking about the recall. It cost over $1100 - none of which I needed. We talked with them and said put the old parts back on. We were told they are long gone (doubtful). They did reduce the price with some coupons but it was still a $900 bill. This is the second time we went in for a recall and they found additional problems.

I am trying to write a review about Chantilly, but keep getting sent to the Fairfax Ourisman, so will review both. We first went to Fairfax Ourisman to attempt to buy a new Highlander because my husband bought a new Prius there previously and had a good experience. The first mistake was just dealing with a random sales person on the floor. He was very nice, test drove some cars with us and took note of the trim and color we wanted, said he'd call when they had a match in stock. He called when a matching vehicle arrived, we asked for a price, and he quoted us MSRP! We asked him to call back with a "real" price, and he said he would but didn't. Then another car came in, he called, I went to see the car, but it had already been sold. Called a third time, I went to see the car, but it was at the sister dealership, so after getting another quote of MSRP, he finally gave me a "real" price, which was only about a thousand below MSRP. So at that point, we were done with Ourisman in terms of buying the car. However, I will say that I have had my previous Toyota serviced at Ourisman, and will get the new car serviced there as well. The service department has been great - the employees go out of their way to schedule appointments that work for the customer, and they also almost always have the car ready on time or early, and the facilities for waiting in the service area are quite nice - TV, Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, etc. Now, on to Chantilly Ourisman. They responded quickly to my request for a quote online. However, while slightly better pricing than I received from the sales floor at Fairfax, they were still $2,000 higher than the dealer where we ultimately bought the new car. When I told them they were too high, they said maybe they could match or beat the price, but I don't like to reward the dealers who quote high prices initially just because they might be willing to meet/beat someone else's price. My business will go to the dealer who gives the best pricing up front and doesn't make me jump through a lot of hoops just to get a fair price on the car.

We love Ourisman! I bought my first car from Ourisman in 2007. My husband bought his from them in 2005. My mother bought hers in 2010. My mother-in-law has bought 2 cars from them as well! We have all had really good experiences and we keep coming back. I even went back to the same salesperson I worked with in 2007 to purchase my new car. Tony Armendariz is spectacular! He is knowledgeable and very friendly but not pushy at all and I never felt like i was being "swindled" or "up-sold". If you choose Ourisman ask for Tony! They were able to work with me on financing and making sure my car payments were right at the price point I needed them to be. Their service department has always been great as well. Stellar dealership!

Watch out when you go for a test drive at Oarsman Toyota in Fairfax, Virginia. I happened to go there to test drive a Toyota Highlander. I was approached by a car salesman named Tony who asked me for my driver license. I handed him the license and walked with him to the parking lot where the vehicles were located. He left me in the parking lot and asked me to look around the vehicles and he walked back to the office with my license. I told him, I am only here to test drive and was not there to purchase the vehicle that day. It was bit strange for him to leave me in the parking lot and walk back in the office with my license. I waited for him for ten minutes and decided to go back to the showroom. I went back and saw him on the computer feeding my personal information into a web application and the application appeared dense two pages or more. I asked him, what are you doing? He said, He is getting a key for me to test drive a vehicle. Long story short, Tony was entering my information into a computer to get my credit information which I did not authorized. I talked to Tonys supervisor who appeared to be the floor manager. He was unfriendly and he did not greeted me, but abruptly told me that Tony followed the standard protocol and brushed me off by saying, "CVS made him fill out two page application the other day." It did not make sense to me neither it had any relevance to my situation. I took the photo copy of my license from Tonys hand walked out of the dealership. Watch out - Oarsman Toyota may be using your personal information without your permission to scope out your credit history which is illegal.

I first came here when I was just shopping around for cars and test driving a few out. I was upfront about the fact that I was not looking to buy a car, although Ibra and his manager still talked me through pricing (just doing their job) they were not pushy and respected the fact that I was still looking. I returned to the dealer when I decided that I wanted to ultimately buy. Ibra and his manager (completely blanking out on name) worked to make sure I was happy with the buying experience. I wanted a good price for the car (there's a lot of toyota dealers in the area) and they were willing to work with me to keep me as a happy customer. I also wanted a color that wasn't available at the fairfax dealer and they were able to bring it from elsewhere. Car buying is stressful (researching, price bidding etc) but I would stop by here and give it a chance. If I look to buy another Toyota, I will probably come back here as well.

I want to first say working with Ourisman was great. They were up front and honest. Ibra the sales guy worked very hard to get me in the car I wanted which was a 2014 Scion Tc in a certain color. He explained to me that another Toyota dealer was trying to rip me off as far as what they said they were giving to me for my trade and what the numbers actually said on paper they provided me. Mass the finance guy called my father the night before and explained to him the amount of money I would save in interest by bringing the negative equity to Toyota motor credit with him as a co-signer. He even explained that over 5 years the same negative equity would have cost almost 5,000.00 with my old finance company and only 952.00 with Toyota/scion financing. When we arrived Saturday they only had scions with navigation which I could not afford. Ibra found the color I wanted and got it delivered within a few hours. Mass went through all the numbers again with my father and I. They were exactly as he explained the night before no gimmicks or switch ups at the time of signing. Mass even showed us the screen as he was putting the numbers in and explained step by step. A very nice lady from customer service came and explained all the stuff about new car and provided me all of the manuals and books. She also explained there is a class for Toyota with free dinner once a week and she explained the free 2 year maintenance package. She also explained if I get all the maintenance done at Ourisman they guarantee the motor for as long as you own your scion. After all the paper work was done my father and I grabbed some pizza and came back and the car was washed and ready. Ibra showed me the blue tooth audio which is awesome. He also synced my phone and contacts to blue tooth as well for me. He explained the engine and all the important components. Lastly, Ibra and Mass thanked my father and I both and advised if we needed anything to call. I really enjoyed my buying experience here and I would recommend this dealership. They were fair about what my car was worth and most of all they did not play a numbers game with me. After all I had negative equity and the last thing I wanted to do was lose more money than needed on a trade. If you are in Fairfax and you are in the market for a Toyota or scion I recommend Ourisman of Fairfax.

This is my second review, the first one was about how good of an experience I had dealing with Janet Tavara n Milenka and the great pricing I got from Ourisman Toyota. This one is about this gentelman named Fernando, he is some sort of a manager at the dealership. I seriously think he needs to look at the way he deals with a potential customer or may be take a Customer Service refresher course. He has no courteousy or professionalism. His " this is my price, buy it or leave it" attitude made us walk away from the dealership and if it wasn't for Janet we wouldve have never walked back into this dealership the next day. She even apologized on his part, insisted us to come back and made us feel welcome again.

Check-In was straight-forward, my service advisor was very cordial, and took the time to show me the service lounge since it was my first time visiting the Ourisman Fairfax dealership. The VA inspection and 10,000 mile service was done, and they even took the time to wash my car before returning my car to me, a nice plus, that my previous Toyota service department did not do. I was recently provided with such excellent customer service, that I felt compelled to share my experience. Before contacting Ourisman Fairfax Toyota about a problem with 2007 Prius, I spoke to two other Toyota dealers in an effort to schedule next day service with a loaner vehicle. Dealer 1 could not look at my vehicle the next day and could not provide a loaner vehicle free of charge. Dealer 2 could see my vehicle next day, but I had a terrible experience with their service department, I could not get a straight answer about the loaner vehicle, and I was repeatedly dumped into voicemail boxes instead of speaking to someone directly. A colleague at work recommended Ourisman Fairfax Toyota, and I'm so glad I called them, because the difference was night and day. I got quick answers to all my questions, I was guaranteed a loaner vehicle at no charge, and they could see my vehicle next day. I received several calls as they examined my vehicle, and overall the communication was extremely helpful. This is the best customer service I have received from a Toyota dealership in over 10 years of owning 4 different Toyota vehicles. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to Ourisman Fairfax Toyota for service, and look forward to purchasing my next Toyota there too. Thank you!

I took my 2004 Toyota Highlander into Ourisman to checkout a thumping sound when turning. First, I was told with great confidence that they needed to replace two parts at a cost of $1770: the intermediate shaft in the steering column and the struts. After they replaced the intermediate shaft, Ourisman called me and said the thumping sound was gone, but I needed to have the rack and pinion replaced, but not the struts. The new price jumped to $2870. When I picked up the car, the thumping noise was gone, but it was much harder to steer than when I took it in. When I took it back to Ourisman, they drove it around in their parking lot and said the steering was normal and there was nothing they could do to make it easier.I also have a 2002 Toyota Avalon. Both cars have always been serviced and repaired at Ourisman. Lately, it seems every time I take in one of the cars for a particular problem, Ourisman always finds another more expensive problem that has to be fixed. I think I am being taken to the cleaners.Raymond K. Smith

Ourisman Toyota tried to give me a "new Toyota Camry" which had cigarette ashes in it and scratches in the faux wood near the gear shift area. No integrity or professionalism at this dealership. On April 28, 2013, I recently went to buy a car for which the price had already been negotiated. (Given that I had a young child, I wanted to make sure I knew how long the process would take before we arrived at the dealership to sign the paperwork and pay for the car.) When we arrived, they told us the new car had to be cleaned. They had us sitting around for 30 minutes, before the customer service representative came to explain the owner manuals for 2013 Camry. Actually, that was a ruse. The representative's job was really to sell us add-on products such as leather protection, exterior protection etc. When I declined the products, the representative asked was it the price or the product. I said both. She went to her manager, and got a reduced price, because "it was the end of the month." I declined the service.Afterwards, we (my family and I) then had to wait to meet with the finance representative. Even though I wasn't financing the car with Toyota or through the dealer, the finance representative said I had to complete some of the paperwork in order to purchase the car, and to obtain the tags. Of course, the finance representative also tried to sell us add-on products (warranties costing from $2,500 to $1,600). After completing the paperwork and declining to purchase the warranties, the finance representative then asked for payment for the car. I said I wanted to see the vehicle first before buying it. We then returned and sat in the waiting area. After spending more than 1 hour and 30 minutes at the dealership, the car still wasn't ready for viewing. We told the sales person, Milenka, that we could come back in a hour. (We had a young children who was hungry.) When we returned for the car, they finally showed us the 2013 Toyota Camry. They claimed it was ready to go. The car, which had approximately 17 miles on it, was not very clean. In fact, the new car had what appeared to be cigarette ashes in it. The faux wood area near the gear shift had several scratches. We brought the scratches, and ashes to the salesperson's attention. She agreed that the car wasn't clean, and suggested that the cleaning staff did a poor job. She also noticed the scratches and got the general manager, Dan Doak. Mr. Doak looked at the car. He said that they would have the car cleaned again. He wasn't apologetic about the unclean car. (We also noted that the car's exterior had some marks on the hood, which may have been due to the adhesive from the plastic on the car during shipping.) Mr. Doak pointed out that was due to the cover on the car. We pointed out the scratches near the gear shift. Mr. Doak got scratch remover, and spent approximately 20 minutes trying to remove them. His efforts were not successful; some scratches still remained. Although the scratches were visible to our eyes, for whatever reason, Mr. Doak who wore glasses couldn't see the scratches. He then suggested that we return the next day so that they could repair the scratches. I asked for another car. Mr. Doak said that did not have one. But, he was willing to make the service team fix it. I told him I wasn't willing to purchase the car with these problems. I wanted a different "new" car; one without scratches and ashes. Mr. Doak told us that the dealership did not have this car. Ourisman got the car from another dealership. We then realized that Ourisman had lied to us. We were told that they had the car, and it was at the dealership when we arrived. They kept us waiting because they didn't have the car. The salesperson, Milenka, continued to give us the false impression that the car was there, when she knew it wasn't.I declined to purchase the car, and asked Ourisman to return my completed paperwork. Mr. Doak got the paperwork, and shoved the papers to me. He wasn't apologetic for the dirty "new" car which had cigarette ashes in it. He wasn't apologetic for our wait or the scratches. Despite the ashes, and the scratches on the faux wood, Mr. Doak's attitude was that I should be happy with the deal I got, which he considered a good deal. I explained that wasn't deal that I negotiated for. I didn't expect a "new" car with ashes, or scratches. I asked him if he were in my shoes, would he buy the car. He never responded to that question. My dealings with Ourisman were a major disappointment. They lied when I walked in the dealership. They didn't have the car. Mr. Doak, the general manager, was very rude, and unapologetic. He gave me the impression that I should have been honored that Ourisman was selling me a Toyota Camry at this price.

I came after closing. Milenka Barry stopped in the parking lot on her way home to take the time to talk to me about the car, gave me her number and arranged for me to come purchase the next night. She also allowed me to communicate while I was at work the next day via text msg (to make sure the car wasn't sold before I arrived). Allowing potential customers to text msg is great. During my car buying process, I've had a lot of dealers call me at work, on my cell, etc....and its really annoying when you are trying to work. So its great that a quick text was all I needed to do. The process was smooth & relatively quick for a car purchase, and the price was entirely fair. I had done EXTENSIVE research on prices and trim levels, so I know this was a fair deal - priced well to move a past model year off the lot. Basically, I got a new car for a large reduction off MSRP due to it being a past year model, yet it didn't have more than 30 test drive miles on it. So a good find. I drove about an hour to come to this dealer after researching prices all over MD, DE, VA, and PA. Although I couldn't get a further budge in the price (didn't think I could, but doesn't hurt to ask!), Milenka did throw in some all-weather car mats, which was nice, and like I said, the price was good to start with so I was happy. No one rushed me - and I am a methodical, slow decision maker who can tend to frustrate others! Yet they gave me plenty of time to test drive and knew a lot of the features on this complex trim level. Its impressive that a smaller dealership (no one there specializing in just one type of car) and a relatively new saleperson knew all of these features, considering that she has to sell a lot of different cars. Milenka even waited till 10:15 pm after the purchase to make sure I knew how to drive away, operate the GPS to get home, etc So after showing it to me in the test drive earlier in the day - she followed through later to make sure I understood. Both the finance guy and Milenka stayed about an hour and a half past closing to help me finish up the deal and I was thankful for that. The finance department does a hard sell on the extra warranty type stuff, and I was already stretching my spending limit to get the car, so I had to say no, no, and no thanks again. But overall, it was a good buying process considering that you are committing to a huge purchase and borrowing a big chunk of change.

My ASM, Maurice Allen, was very helpful with his service recommendations; he has my confidence and I plan to contact him in the future. All maintenance work was performed in a timely, efficient manner and my car was spotless when it was returned to me. I tried two other Toyota dealers before I found this one and am very pleased with Ourisman in Fairfax.

Overall, my service experience was positive. My Camry handles as good as new after my service. [struts, balance, new tires, steering, and intake] My service adviser, Mr. X forgot to include my 17% discount promotion of $118.09. I had to ask a second time after I presented my coupon for the discount at the initial service request. I was able to ask the service manager for his help at check out to receive the promised discount. Also, the rental car [red corolla] smelled of cigarette smoke and ash, in my opinion that car is not suitable for use by a non-smoker.Thanks.

Fast, friendly service. The Asst. Service Manager, Danny Guarnieri, listened to what I had to say. He didn't try to push unnecessary services but made helpful suggestions for future service. He also offered suggestions for ways to save on future service. Ourisman's prices are competitive with other dealerships but their service is what keeps me coming back.

Below is my review of my latest horrible experience with this service department:"We brought the car in TWICE for scheduled appointments to have the skid cover replaced only to be told twice AFTER we were already there that the part was not available. It took a third trip and a ton of time out of work to finally get this part replaced. Every interaction (this is not the first time we have had a horrible experience here) we have with your service department is painful, time consuming, and frustrating beyond anything I could ever have imagined when we purchased this Toyota vehicle."Run, don't walk, AWAY from these people.

I received the worse service at this dealership...actually no service at all. I had called to make an appointment because of a Toyota safety recall and was told that I can come in and wait two hours for the repair to be complete. I came on time and was told by the receptionist that my service manager (Sam) was busy but would come get me when he is done with his customer. I waited and waited but no service manager came. I had to remind the receptionist that I was still waiting to sign in but she made no effort to tell Sam that I was waiting. Some other guy noticed I was waiting and it was only then that someone approached Sam. Finally Sam was able to carve out time in his busy schedule for me only to tell me that I would need to wait a couple of hours (more than what I was initially told) for the repair to be complete. All in wall I waited nearly a half hour just to be signed in. This is really bad customer service making a customer wait nearly a half hour just to be signed in and telling her that the promised amount of time was a lie. Time is preciousI did not leave my car at this dealership because I did not want to waste more time that I already did. Ill be sure not to come back there.

Disappointment. I brought my car in for its service *(24K oil change), annual safety inspection and emissions. The service department did not scrape off all of the residue from the old inspection sticker, and put the new inspection sticker on crooked. That tells me no pride in their work when something as simple as this cannot be done right, and residue/crooked sticker is not something I want to look at for the next 12 months. Also, Ourisman used to return the vehicle clean, this time I received my vehicle back dirty. I expect more from a dealership, in fact I expect better than this from my local backyard mechanic.

I just returned from a routine service. I wish to acknowledge and thank Kris Clausen, who without prompting, followed up to retrieve my car which had taken longer than usual to come back from the bay. Kris went over and above in getting me on my way, and that is exactly the type of initiative in producing great service that we customers value. My appreciation stems from the fact that I was not his customer.Thank you as well to Thang, who observed me standing around. He inquired if I needed assistance and then--even after being told that someone was taking care of things--also hustled off to get a status. It is that kind of initiative that keeps us from dreading taking the time for getting service performed.Kudos to Geoff for the consistently superior customer service that goes hand-in-hand with the physical labor of keeping our family's vehicles in fine working order. He appears confident and proud of this outstanding team, which is probably why he has a welcoming smile on his face every time I see him.*Another comment about Kris. While I was waiting, I overheard Kris speaking with customers on the phone and in person with a very much "can-do" attitude.

They were the only dealership to go the extra mile to find me the EXACT car I was looking for, instead of trying to get me to buy what was on their lot. The actual sale took a long time that day, but I never felt pushed to buy more - it was just a long process. But the kicker has been the awesome service - open ALL the time, very friendly, very honest and upfront, and they have their own extended warranty when you buy AND service your car there - a great deal all around.

I had left my car for a scheduled maintenance and one issue with gas tank pressure. Greeted by one of the staffs and got connected to a service manager fairly shortly. There was a call from the service manager to ask me a question about the problem and another call to tell me the car was ready. The service manager was courteous.Everything was great and normal until the very end when I went to pick up my car.I walked into cashier's office and told a lady, Courtney, that I wanted to pick up my car.She looked at me and gave me a weird look. (as if I was annoying her)This was the conversation between me and her:Me: "Is there a problem?"Cashier: ... "can you sign here?"Me: "Is anything wrong?"Cashier: ... "Sign here at the bottom."Me: "What is your name?"Cashier: "That is my copy. this is yours."Me: "What is your name?"Cashier: "Courtney."I got out of there feeling very unpleasant.I understand she wants to get out of there asap at 6pm on Saturday, but that was NOT how to treat a customer, especially who was merely picking up his car.I had never felt this unpleasant at a car dealer prior to this incident.I get angry again writing this post, just thinking about it.I plan to complain to Ourisman Toyota, and Toyota as well.-UpdateI received a phone call from the service manager, Geoff Bennett, the following week.He knew about the incident that day because I spoke to a gentleman about the cashier before I left the dealer. I guess he told Mr. Bennett.Mr. Bennett said he talked to the cashier the same day, and he apologized to me over the phone. I guess it's all good now. But to be honest, I'm not sure if I'm going to go to this dealer for any service...just because of the cashier. I guess it can happen anywhere, but I don't like to visit a place where I had an unpleasant experience....even once!

Had 90K Service Performed on a 2005 Tacoma. Making appointment was by phone & the coordinator was knowledagable & friendly. She offered to schedule a loaner vehicle, but that is something I don't need with their courtesy shuttle to the nearby Metro Station. Even though the Service Department is undergoing renovation, working from the temporary trailers has not diminished the experience I expect from this dealership. Have dealt with other Assistant Service Managers at various times over the past 7 years and have found a very comfortable working/professional relation with Kelvin Green. Pricing is competitive & finding a service coupon online that was honored made the venture much less costly. Overall, the dealership does a fine job. Someone usually answers the phone when I call, and getting a service appointment is easy. There is always someone that greets me when I come in (though the employees rarely smile here), and I always wait in the Customer area for my vehicle to be serviced. The waiting area is clean, and has coffee, donuts, and wi-fi, which I appreciate. I assume the work promised is actually completed (I have no real way to knowing)...however on my last visit, I did ask for my vehicle to be washed (and was told it would be), and it wasn't. I was very disappointed by this since I was counting on that to save me some time in my week so that I wouldn't have to go wait elsewhere. Beyond that, I continue to go to this dealership since this is where I bought the vehicle, but it's a long drive for me (takes about 35 minutes from Arlington to Fairfax). The dealership meets my expectations, but it would be great if it exceeded them.

I took my Camry Hybrid in for 45,000 mile servicing. Doug Price, Asst Service Manager, pointed out that I needed tires. I agreed, but I decided to purchase them elsewhere as I thought Toyota's price was a little high. While at the other tire place, their mechanic insisted that I needed new hydraulic struts; they were leaking he said. I did not buy the struts and instead called Doug Price at Ourisman. I was upfront with him and told him I was purchasing tires elsewhere. He understood and he assured me that during Toyota's regular service of my car the previous day the struts were checked and serviced. They were not leaking; any oil was just from the serviceing and the other mechanic was mistaken. I appreciated this. I feel that I received good, honest service for my car from Fairfax Toyota and am inclined to use them again.

The service person took the time to print out the costs for my next service because it will be a major one and will cost more. He said he wanted me to be prepared for the extra expense. I really appreciate the dealership looking out for me.

I bought the world's most wonderful car, my Prius, from Ourisman 5 years ago. I live 24 miles away, but have always taken the car there for all of its service. You might ask why? It's all about the FABULOUS customer service I receive. They are open most evenings until 11. I can drive over after rush hour, get the service done, while enjoying some quiet time, and am back within two hours. If I do have to leave the car, I have a free rental. From the person to opens the door to the person who takes my payment everyone with whom I have dealt has always been informative, respectful, and gracious. I've made appointments both online and on the phone. The few times I've had follow up questions, Ken Gilbert is the epitome of a manager. He knows his staff and how to respond to any concern, question, or suggestion. If you ever have the opportunity to have your car serviced there, please go immediately. I have never been disappointed and always very pleased.

This is the second time that I have taken my car to this dealership and they have always been nothing but extremely professional and helpful with everything that I have brought before them. They have been able to answer all the questions I have ever had about my car and have taken great care of it when I have left it with them to get serviced. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone owning a Toyota

We brought in a Toyota Highlander Hybrid with intermittently flashing warning lights -- something I recognize is difficult to troubleshoot and resolve, particularly since the lights were not on when we first came in for service. Things checked out on the computer, and we did not see any further problems until much later in the day when the lights came back on. Brian, one of the assistant service managers, took ownership of the issue and remained with the mechanic doing the work until they had identified the cause and fixed the problem. We're satisfied.

We recently bought a used Lexus from this dealership. They were courteous, professional, and honest in they work. We worked with Nayne Mohamed and Liz Manes. They were very knowledgeable and customer-friendly. Nayne went the "extra mile" with customer support for new tires on the vehicle. Also, Ms. Manes was courteous and prompt with respect to the financial issues of the purchase. I was impressed with the quick action by Liz and the prompt refund from Ourisman Toyota after we decided not to buy the extended warranty.

I love this Dealer, been recommenced it all my family member and friends. I bought my car from Vince Pham. He was so nice the whole time and explain to me all the details about the cars and care for my needed. As a girl, of course i have a lot of questions about everything before i buy. The services are so great, all the staffs and managements was so friendly and treat me like a family. I been though so many dealers so i know how all the things work. Of course they need to explain all the details and go thus all the warranties (BUT THATS JUST FOR YOUR OWN GOOD) at the end, you still the one make all the decisions. I took my car for check up for the first time. I got oil change and all the maintenance required for FREE and also I got my car wash FREE and Vacuum for FREE, love it! its only take less than an hour for all that. How can u say no to that right.

I have been a customer at Ourisman Toyota of Fairfax for 30 years. I have always been extremely satisfied with their customer service and friendliness. I have two older Toyota Camrys and they are always on the road, thanks to the excellent workmanship at Ourisman of Fairfax. I also appreciate how they advise the customer as to what "needs to done" and what "can wait" for next time.

Since our first visit to Ourisman over a year ago, we have had excellent service, and once we met Debbie, we call her directly to schedule all of our service needs. Debbie is a great communicator who explains, honestly and thoroughly, the situation so we can make educated decisions. She has gone above and beyond to check on warranty coverages for us and always follows up in a timely manner. We have recommended several Toyota owners that are new to the Fairfax area to Ourisman and Debbie in particular, and everyone seems as pleased as we are. Vehicle service can often be stressful and financial straining, but Ourisman's quick service and reasonable prices will keep us coming back. Thanks again!

The service technician made a mistake while replacing the new cabin filter and dropped debris into Pan of the cabin fan. The Advisor Pettaway tried to hide technician mistake returned the vehicle as fixed. When asked, why there is sound coming out of the air conditioner? He then tried to sell additional service to get rid of that sound. When I reiterated that there was no sound coming from the air conditioner when the vehicle was brought in for service, he then took the vehicle back and 15 minutes later brought back the vehicle. We experienced additional problems as a result of what the technician did to the vehicle. The workmanship was so poor even a gas satiation mechanic would have done a better job. Later on realized the parts were not put back together properly and fixture underneath glove compartment was loose and air-condition unit water started to sipping in inside the vehicle as a result of the repair done by Ourisman Toyota mechanic.

We are new in town and needed to get our vehicle in for routine maintenance - a vehicle that has NEVER had a single problem. Low and behold, we were informed by Ourisman that in addition to the routine maintenance, our rear lighting system wiring needed to be replaced as well as our entire rack and pinion steering system. I asked questions and was given very vague responses such as "We can just tell that its the wiring that has gone bad. Its not a bulb issue." and "There is no other solution other than replacing the entire system." to the tune of $1400 or more and needed to be done "right away". They went ahead and fixed the lighting issue (tail lights and plate lights rewired) but we took the car to Springfield Toyota for a second opinion on the steering system replacement. We found out that not only was the problem not that bad but that if we DID want to replace it, it would be covered under the extended warranty that we purchased and we should never have been told it would cost us a dime. Makes me wonder if they would have kept that information to themselves at Ourisman if we HAD let them fix it. Also found out on the second opinion visit that one of the license plate bulbs was out...not only did they fix wiring unnecessarily but they didn't even completely solve the "problem". Will NEVER go there again and will continually advise all others we come across to steer clear of their shady business practices!!

Took my vehicle in for service in the evening. Got a call from the dealer that it was done and would be ready for pick up at 8 a.m. the next day. At 9 a.m., I was told that it was not done because it still needed to be washed and that the wash bay didn't open until 8 a.m. and that mine was still in line. I complained that one shouldn't be told that a car would be ready at 8 a.m. if that was not possible. Next time tell me 9 or 9:30. All I wanted the manager (Jeff) to say was "sorry, I will talk to the service guys so they don't tell customers that cars will be ready at 8". What I get is "well it is a hand wash so it takes a while and yours was not first in line". We own 3 Toyotas, and now that the name brand does not mean what it used to, you would think that customer service would be a priority. We will be buying a car for my 16 year old in the next month and it will not be a Toyota primarily because he is thinks they are bad cars since he has only heard bad press. If Toyota is going to have a hard time getting new customers, you would think they would want to keep the ones they have.

I don't typically take the time to write a review about anything but I had a very positive experience tonight. My husband and I bought a new Toyota Sienna. We spent several days price shopping in the paper, online and at dealerships to get a good deal during the Memorial Day weekend sale. The sales manager, Chris Woods, was very professional and efficient. We were ready to buy and discussed it over the phone before we would be willing to step foot in the dealership. When we arrived, the car we expected was ready and waiting for us (no bait and switch tricks) and the pricing was fair, without the dealership trying to sneak in extra hidden fees. During the time I had called all local dealerships, some dealers had nasty things to say about their competitors. I decided to come in to Ourisman Fairfax Toyota because I liked that Chris could very clearly say whether or not he could sell me the car I was looking for at my price, without needing to badmouth his competitors. He did not waste our time because our paperwork was expedited and everyone at the dealership was so nice to our toddlers during the process. After we agreed to the deal and it was pretty much in the bag for our salesman, Fahim Kakar, he still took the time to come back and check on the kids. Fahim even went to the vending machine to buy them snacks while he could have been out trying to work on new deals (it was a very busy day). So we finished the deal and signed everything, including financing through Toyota Financial Services, and we left. Later that night, I had concerns about our payment schedule and Chris worked with us immediately to make adjustments so that our monthly payments could better fit our budget. Keep in mind we already signed and agreed to terms so it was our fault for signing and wanting to change after driving off with the car. He was very cordial and made it clear that he wanted our long-term business and referrals and therefore wanted us to leave happy. I came in expecting typical dealer shenanigans and was a little weary of some negative reviews I had seen online. I can happily say that we were so pleased with this experience and will buy from them again. This was our 3rd new car purchase and we know the games some dealers play and I was pleasantly surprised at how well this went. Our two kids were each given snacks, balloons, keychains and drinks by several different staff during the time we were there. When our kids were batting their balloons onto the sales managers' desk area, I felt so embarrassed that they were such a nuisance but Chris assured us that it was fine and they didn't mind so that we could focus on signing our papers. There was one minor error in our paperwork that I noticed while we were signing, but they quickly corrected it and given the overall positive experience I can give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that it was an honest mistake versus "trickery." I did have another concern after they had closed and I came back a SECOND time (yes, I am a difficult to please customer). There were still a few people there and Chris had left for the day but they got him on his cell phone and he was able to assure me, all the while keeping very cordial and professional. I really can't say enough great things and I'm usually a complainer. I'll definitely spread the word--these guys are so much better than the vultures that swarmed us at other dealerships. They provided us additional options that we declined (of course) but did not use high pressure sales tactics. All this plus Ourisman gives a free "Auto 4 Life" warranty beyond the manufacturer's warranty so it was a great deal.

VERY VERY BAD customer service. Robert (don't know his last name) was very rude to me. I made an appointment for my car because they didn't put my undercarriage cover back on the last time I had an oil change there and he (robert) deliberately made me waited for almost two hours that would normally take 5mins to do. I would not go back to this dealership ever again.

Purchase process was a nightmare. Spent four hours negotiating a trade-in. Business manager, Jimmy Z, kept pushing this massive warranty package. He spent more time pushing warranty than on actual paperwork! When I noted his pushy attitude in a survey, he called me and laid a guilt trip about how he was fired because of my survey! No joke. Their service department, on the other hand, is just awesome. Sean and Amy work in the service department. I called upon them to get some upgrades. They made the process painless and easy. Even provided a loaner car (at no charge for first day). When I picked up my auto, they explained the new features thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Very happy with service group. If you can survive the sales process drama, you can get a good deal that will be backed by a great service department.

My wife and I were drawn to this dealership from NC, due to the fact they had quite a few Sienna Limted FWD vans available, and they had a few with "special" pricing. We drove 4 hours to checkout their selection and to buy a new van. Our local NC dealerships did not have any Sienna Limited FWD vans with the options or the colors were were looking to buy.We drove to the dealership on Friday afternoon. Picked out a van, and negotiated a price. We told the salesman that we wanted to sleep on it, and we would either call or come back on Saturday to buy the van. The dealership opened at 9:00AM Saturday, I called the sales personon Saturday morning on his cell phone at 8:30 to let him know we were coming back in to buy the car. Keep in mind, the sales person had collected copies of our DL, INS, and all our personal information. He had already started all the paperwork to close the deal that night. Oh, btw, there was no financing or trade-in. This was going to be a cash deal.We got to the dealership at 9:00AM on Saturday. The sales man did not greet us,did not say good morning, did not even offer us a cup of coffee. He took us to an enclosed office, and proceeded to make us wait, while they carried on a 15 minute sales meeting in the showroom. Once the sales meeting was over, no one even came back to check on us or let us know what was going on. Other customers were walking in to the showroom as the meeting was in progress, and sales associates met them as they were walking in, and left the meeting to meet and greet them. Why were we pushed into a glass office and made to wait ?We got up and walked out of the office, after waiting 20 minutes. As we we were walking out of the showroom, I spoke to the sales person and told him we were leaving. He said he was looking for the paperwork. If you knew that some one was coming back in the next day to buy a car , why would you misplace the paperwork from the previous night ? IMO the sales person was upset with us, because we left the night before, after he had already committed to his management the van was sold. I am sure if we would of stayed that we would of had to renegotiate the price of the car.The dealership does not seem interested in customer service or customer satisfaction. All they are concerned about is getting your money. They make you wait at every step of the process. If you buy a car from them, be prepared to spend all day making the deal. They are slow, and very inefficient. Supposedly, the sales associate had been selling cars for 25 years. He needed to learn a thing or two about customer service.

I am a 25 year old female relatively new to the car buying process. I am a college graduate and consider myself very successful for my age and excited about buying my first car! I first came to this dealership to test drive a Camry, I went by myself and had a pretty good experience. I ended up not liking the Camry and decided to test drive a Corolla. I came back to the dealership a few months later to test try the Corolla...I met a great sales representative who was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I decided I did not like the Corolla...way too small! This is when they introduced me to the Scion TC. I then came back to the dealership a few weeks later to test drive the Scion TC and discuss financing and figures because I loved it!!!I am a market researcher as a profession and know how to research and prepare for a meeting like this. I brought with me some USAA figures of Scion TCs that were only $300 cheaper than what they were asking for. Now I understand the Scion TC price and how it is pretty much non negotiable and set by Scion themselves. I just wanted to see what they would say or how they would react. The sales manager was very rude and extremely belittling to me. He argued with me the price is non negotiable and it is what it is. He decided to get up and walk away very abruptly. I left feeling very disappointed and very upset. About 20 mins later they called me back to apologize and offer me a "college discount" which is a $400 discount if I can prove I graduated from college. I then went on the internet to see other Scion dealerships and found that it is normal right now...if you buy a new Scion TC you will receive a $400 refund. It is such a game do your research!

Sadly, I can no longer recommend this dealership. I bought my last car here, a Camry in 2000, and was treated well. Other than the usual gauntlet of the puffery girl (trying to sell paint sealant, fabric care, rustproofing, etc.) and the good ol' boy who thought he could sell an extended warranty to anyone, the buying experience was straightforward and painless. This time around was different. Despite Toyota's sales being off more than 30%, and despite not having the car I wanted and thus trying to sell me a leftover 2008 in a color I didn't want and with extra equipment I didn't want, they couldn't resist playing the old con game with me on my trade-in -- a car I bought here and kept in excellent condition. First they low-balled its value by more than $1,800, then pretended the floor manager would do me a favor and phone around to see if he could get more. Obviously I was supposed to be grateful when he came back with a higher (but still too low) offer. Give me a break! Do these guys not know that anyone can check the blue book trade-in value of their car online? And do they think their customers are so stupid they won't recognize this sort of scam when they hear it? And, BTW, they pulled this same stunt on two others I know who've shopped there in the last few months, so maybe it's become standard practice at this dealership. I ended up buying another make from a dealer that was straight with me, and I doubt I'll ever shop at Ourisman again.

This dealership has a decent selection of cars, and average prices. When I bought my Toyota Certified Avalon there, I went to this specific dealership to buy a specific car in a specific color and trim. I knew exactly what I wanted and a budget to work with. I spent more than an hour and a half being sold to after we struck a deal with the car. First, they want you to buy the car as Toyota's have excellent reliability. Ten minutes later, you need undercoating, clear coating, seat treatment, and a ton of extra warranties because this car might fall apart the moment you drive off. Finally, after fighting off all of the extra charges, the dealership drew up sales paperwork for a different trim level - THE WRONG CAR. When I dealt with my bank to get the loan, they informed me that I would need all new paperwork on the car, reflecting the correct car and trim level. Additionally, the car's navigation system did not work properly, and I was told they would fix it before I picked the car up. So much for the 160 point inspection catching major errors in the car. When I called to request new paperwork, it took hours, the dealership told me my bank did not need this information corrected. He stalled and implied that I was being difficult by needing paperwork on the actual car I was buying. After two plus hours of waiting, he finally faxed the information to my bank. When I got to the dealership that night to pick the car up, check in hand, NONE of the paperwork had been prepared for the correct car. Furthermore, I had to wait more than a half hour while they verified that they had the correct title to the correct car that I was trying to buy. After a long delay, I finally got my car. But the navigation was not fixed. They initially told me that I needed to double-click most menu items, but upon review of my manual for the navigation, absolutely nothing requires a double-click. I was told it would take 5-10 business days to get the needed parts in to fix the navigation system. On the fifth business day, the part came in, and my sales rep told me to stop in any night at their service center to have it fixed - but to allow 30-45 minutes for the repair. They are open until 11pm, amazingly!Tonight, I drove the two-plus hours to the dealership to find out that the part was at some other service center that they own. The part was locked, and at 7:15pm, there was nobody who could get the part out for me, even though they advertise that you can have service done until 11pm.I will not go back to this dealership. They wasted a ton of my time, there was constant confusion about what car I was buying and where the part for my navigation system should be. Nobody other than the nice receptionist seemed to care at all.

The check engine light on my Toyota Sienna came on. I took the van to a Sunoco gas station near my house. They checked the computer and diagnosed that the oxygen sensors were defective. I asked them to fix it. I left the van there overnight. They replaced the front sensors and told me that they could not get the other sensor out. They did not have the proper tools to do the job. I took the van to Fairfax Toyota and explained what happened (third day). The first thing I heard "big Money". I asked how big. The sales man said big big big . On top of all, they had to do their own diagnosis which was another $115.00, otherwise they would not accept the job. The salesman told me that it may not be the oxygen sensor, and could be other things..., and kept repeating "big money". I asked them to do the diagnostic testing and give me a repair estimate before fixing it. I left the van there overnight. The next day (4th day) I received a call from Fairfax Toyota. I was told that the exhaust manifold was cracked, the oxygen sensor was damaged, and there may be other problems as well. I asked how much was the damage? I was told: a minimum of $1,800.00 for replacing the one manifold, installing a new oxygen sensor and resetting the computer. I called the Sunoco gas station and asked them if the manifold was cracked. I was told: no way a cracked manifold makes a loud noise and your van did not make any noise. The gas station mechanic told me that the dealers mechanic did not know what he was talking about. I asked the mechanic how much did it cost to replace the manifold. I was told by the mechanic around $100 to $200 for the manifold and $20 to $50 for washers, other parts and $200 for replacement, $500 max (without the oxygen sensor, which is an additional $210). Since I did not trust the gas station and Fairfax Toyota, I started calling around. All other dealerships in the northen Virginia gave me a quote for doing the same job between $700 and $900. Two dealerships service representatives in Alexandria and Arlington told me that they could salvage the manifold and it may cost less to fix the van. Then, I called Fairfax Toyota and talked to the dealership service manager and asked him why it costed so much to replace a manifold. I asked for a break down of cost. He said the parts are around $300 to $500 and the repair costs $1,200 to $1,500. He said that it was a very tough job.At any rate, I took my van in the same evening from Fairfax Toyota, paid the $115 for diagnosis, and took it to Alexandria Toyota (25 miles away from my house) because it was close to my work (4th day). Mr. Elliot Abascal, (703) 778-3808, one of the service representatives at Alexandria Toyota took care of the problem. The next day (5th day) Mr. Abascal called me and stated that they salvaged the manifold. I only paid around $530.00 for the job. I picked up the van and the engine light is gone. I concluded that Mr. Abascal was a very honest man and I strongly recommend his services.I would like to urge all Toyota owners to check the rates at other dealerships before doing business with Ourisman Fairfax Toyota.I was planning to buy a new car from Ourisman Fairfax Toyota. In fact I had discussed it with one of their sales representatives and had tentatively come to an agreement. But now I have decided not to do any business with Ourisman Toyota, even though they are only 1.5 miles from my house. Also, I called the service manager (Joe .. ) and asked for reimbursement for their incorrect diagnosis of the problem, the manifold was not cracked. They are so dishonest that they did not write that the manifold was cracked, they only referred to the fused oxygen sensor and their repair cost estimate which was even $50 higher than their initial estimate of $1,800. They wanted $1,850.00 for a $550 job. It took my 5 days and three repair shops to fix a small problem.

Absolutely the worst automobile dealership I have ever dealt with. This review is from a purchase in September 2005, I just stumbled upon this website. At this time, the hybrid craze was going on, therefore, dealerships knew they had the upper hand. After going to a couple of dealerships, Ourisman Toyota was the only dealership that was receiving a Prius in the color and package I wanted. I checked every local dealer and as far south as Fredericksburg. Other dealerships claimed they could trade Ourisman for the Prius that I wanted, but they had to receive another Prius to trade for it. Most dealerships I talked to had a waiting list for the Prius. I seized the opportunity to get the car in the package and color I wanted. The salesman offered a free maintenance program to me, but then retracted his offer after he said he made a mistake and that the maintenance program was offered on all toyota vehicles except hybrids and scions. I told him that I was offered a certain price from another dealership and asked if he could match it. He said he would check with his manager, but if he could match the price, it would only be offered for that price at that moment. I decided to check another dealer I was negotiating with for a more expensive model in the color I wanted. I came back to Ourisman and the salesperson said he could not make any reductions in price and that the MSRP is what I would have to pay. I finally decided to get this over with and purchase the Prius because I was leaving on vacation and I didn't have a car due to a recent car accident. When the sales person brought the bill, he overcharged me $500. I notified him of this and he said "sorry my mistake." After finally changing the price, I had to leave a deposit for the vehicle because the vehicle had not been shipped to the dealer. The salesperson said the vehicle would be arrive in about a week and a half. I notified him that I would be on vacation and would call him the day I returned to pick up the vehicle. When I returned from my vacation, I had two messages from the salesman stating that many people wanted to buy the Prius I placed a deposit on and that I needed to call him right away before someone else took the vehicle. I was finally getting pissed at this point. I called the salesman and notified him that I would be coming in to pickup the vehicle and he said good because he had to hide the keys from other salesmen. I guess this is how Ourisman does business. When I arrived to pay the balance the salesman was sitting there with his feet up and didn't even have the common courtesy to stand up and greet me. He then tried to overcharge me again because he didn't include the deposit I made. When I finally received the vehicle, it had a long scratch on the clearcoat running down the driver's side and some weird swirl patterns on the front left bumber and back right upper panel. I told the saleman about this and he tried to tell me that it was residue from the protective white film they put on the cars. Wrong, it was a scratch. He finally admitted it was a scratch after he tried to shine it off. He told me to come back to the dealership to have the service department take care of it. After two trips back, the service department did not remove any of the scratches or swirls. I finally got fed up with Ourisman and left. The only reason why I purchased the vehicle was because unfortunately they were the only vehicle to have the color I wanted at that time. Luckily I did because the wait list for the Prius got as long as several months after I bought mine. I will never deal with Ourisman again and highly recommend that nobody buys a vehicle from them. Highly unprofessional and overpriced dealership!

I went to this dealership over the Labor Day weekend. I was looking for a new car due to my back issues and plus...I wanted a new car. I was greeted by Mr. Shah as soon as I drove in. He showed me the Toyota Camry which is what I was looking for. He showed me the two that were on the lot and asked if I was interested. I explained my what I was looking for in payments and what not.I walk to his desk, he takes my info and goes off to speak to his manager. He comes back to tell me something 35.00 more than what I said I wouldnt' pay. Fine, I told him "Thank you" and I left. I drove to Koons Tyson's Toyota to speak to a friend of a friend. He took my information, ran my credit and told me what I was looking at. He even broke it down for me word for word, number for number. Something Ourisman did not do. They just threw a number at me.I told the salesman that I would return because I would think about it. The next day (Monday, 9-4-06), I get a phone call from Mr. Shah who said he spoke to his manager about me and that his manager said "he spoke to toyota" about my history with them (2 loans with them) and that he can do a deal for me. And this time its for what I asked for. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I took my current cars paperwork in and they said I had to cancel my extended warrenty, prepaid maintenance program and gap insurance. This would lower my payoff and can be completed in 2-3 days. However, I was advised by two different people at a different dealership that it would take 1 month. I then told the manager "thi" (sp) that how can he garentee me a monthly amount without running my credit. He said he was basing it off the APR I had on my paper work. (strike 1..i was told he spoke to toyota). I then say fine, I'll cancel the things asked of and when I asked for his offer in writing, he got upset and got loud saying he wouldn't write anything down and that I can do whatever I want with my money. That if we wanted a deal we had to take his word. (strike 2).Mr. Shah said he would write on a business card what was offered and under what conditions. I said fine. On my drive to Lustine to cancel my coverage, I had time to think about things and after my wife asking me 20x's if I was okay, I said, "they have one more shot". I get to lustine and I spoke to someone there and that finance manager told me it would take 1 month to get the refunds. This is the third person to tell me the same thing. I then call Mr. Shah and he said that he thought it was 2-3 days and that his manager (Thi) would know more about it, and to call him instead. At that point I gave up on them and said forget it once I hung up. I left Lustine and did not cancel anything. I went to Koons Tyson's Toyota and made my purchase that day. To top things off, they made me a better offer then Ourisman and with real customer service. All in all, stay away from these people. Not sure what type of crooked things they were trying to do, but they were not trying to help me.

I previously wrote a glowing review of this dealership. Our family has purchased a number of Toyotas from them over the course of close to 20+ years, 2 loaded Camry Solara SLE V6s just in the past year. This past Labor Day weekend totally changed my view of this dealership and its personnel. We were trying to purchase a 2007 Camry XLE. While the salesman, whom we have pleasantly worked with in the past, started out okay, it quickly became apparent that he was trying to get me to "settle" for a car that wasn't quite what I wanted...tellling me that it would be fine and that I would be happy with it. And the sales manager who seems so pleasant in passing rigidly controlled the purchasing process, making it most unpleasant. I'm appalled. In the past, the dealership tried hard to search around and find the vehicle we wanted. This time, the dealership was absolutely terrible. When I asked them to search, they really didn't want to. I asked them to search mid-Atlantic for a car; they only ran northern VA. Then they baulked...first saying they didn't want to call, then saying the car wasn't available, and then saying they would charge me the destination fee if I didn't buy one of their in-stock vehicles. The salesman indicated that I might have better luck trying to search around for a vehicle for them to obtain. Then, when I did find a vehicle...and the real, this-is-what-you-pay price at the new dealership was $2000-2500 LESS than the Ourisman price, they absolutely refused to get the vehicle and told me I'd have to buy it myself at the other place. To boot, the new dealership gave me more in trade! The dealership we ultimately bought the car at was Jack Taylor's Alexandria Toyota. The salesman was their Internet guy, Jim Brotherton. He was pleasant to work with and didn't play any games. And, the price we paid was the Internet price and was not jerked around one iota. What a relief!I cannot tell you how disappointed my family is with Ourisman. If they treat long-standing customers so discourteously (and we bought two $30,000+ cars from them in the past year), imagine how well they would treat the typical car buyer. Perhaps, Ourisman has gotten too big for its britches because it's located in the heart of affluent Fairfax County and has lots of traffic, while Alexandria Toyota -- though also in Fairfax County and close to Washington, DC --seemed to be a little out of the way. Well, if you want to be treated fairly and pleasantly, Alexandria Toyota's your place to buy.

I am a faculty member at George Mason University, which is in close proximity to this dealership. Our family bought 5 cars from this dealership in the last 10 years. We were pleased with them until our last visit. We went in to buy a new RAV-4. The sales consultants and managers we usually deal with have all but left, no doubt an indication of the deteriorating standards of this dealership! And well these new guys don't know anything and are not well trained at all.The main problem we had was on the price, they had given us a FINAL price which we were told included tax, tags etc. only to find out 4 hours later, that there were hidden charges that jacked up the price by 1150$!! We of course were totally shocked. I guessed maybe they thought if they made us hang out long enough they could sweet talk us into paying more or something!!The manager William (Billy) Brown eventually came and talked to us, he was unresponsive though and very rude! I can't believe they would put someone like him in charge of a sales team! The only thing that guy should and could manage is a lemonade stand! In closing, stay away from these guys; they are out to make money, pure and simple! They will lie, cheat and do whatever it takes to get you to sign on the dotted line! BEWARE!! Go to Carmax instead, no haggle no fuss. Just my two cents, take it or leave it.

My family loves this dealership. We have purchased at least 5 vehicles from them over the course of about 20 years, and had all of our service work done there. The service consultants are all terrific people to deal with as is the service manager. Two examples: (1) Recently, my Camry XLE battery went dead. When my car was towed to the dealership, the service guy actually volunteered that the entire repair was under warranty. (2) Not long ago, I brought my car in thinking it needed brake work. The service rep told me that it really didn't need it yet...then he described to me the thresholds used to determine whether front or back brakes need work. Since my family was about to embark on a long road trip, I questioned his assessment. With a smile, he told me that he was giving me the same advice he would have given his family and that he wouldn't put us in danger any more than he would put his own family in danger. I feel safe with this dealership. All the guys know us by name and greet us warmly. I couldn't recommend a dealership more highly.

My new Prius had sudden loss of power, lots of lights come on. I pulled over, looked up all the lights--manual says Do Not Drive. So got car towed to Chantilly (b/c Fairfax rude and dismissive). Towing company was highlight of experience--nice and professional. Asst Service Mgr Kevin was rude to other customers on phone while I waited, as well as complaining to me about his lazy coworkers, his long hours, and how that upset his wife. Fine, he could have been having a bad day.... <br><br>But... their Prius technician took 8 hours (& a 2nd opinion) to diagnose that I had run out of gas. I knew the tank was 1/8th, was looking for the low fuel light, but had not seen it when I stopped the car. I looked up EVERY light that was on when I stopped, had seen that light on a previous tank, AND was waiting for it (I am female, I would like to know how urgent it is when the fuel light comes on so when I'm out in a strange place I can choose where to refuel safely).<br><br>Despite following manual's instructions (Do Not Drive if these lights are on), Chantilly Toyota charged me for the tow. The Serv. Mgr. Mike was patronizing, arrogant, rude, chauvinistic, and as bad at customer service as his employee. He had the nerve to photocopy the manual about filling the gas tank and attached that to my bill.<br><br>Nothing in the manual says that catastrophic lights will come on if the car is out of gas. Their OWN technician took 8 hours, by their own admission. I knew the tank was low, but without the warning fuel light, I did not expect it to be empty. They claim the fuel light was on when they got the car. That might be true! But if it was, it came on AFTER all the other lights. From my experience in customer service and troubleshooting, I ALWAYS perform the "idiot" checks in the early stages of troubleshooting--things can happen, cords can get unplugged, a setting can be wrong, etc. I understand that. This dealership obviously does not.

I would not recomend this dealership for sales or service. <br><br>Saleman not familiar with their cars. My car was sold to me with factory installed parts missing. <br><br>The car was delivered dirty to me at purchase.<br><br>The compartment below the shifter will not stay shut when something is placed in it. Repaired and replaced but not fixed.<br><br>The car after service was again delivered dirty. The guys who clean the car seem to be always washing and cleaning their personal cars instead of doing a good job of cleaning the customers cars.
