I urge everyone to avoid Palmer Dodge in Roswell, GA. My experience was truly horrible, andI hope that this review saves others from a similar experience to the disastrous experience I had. Please see my review on Yelp (I'm from Norton, Ohio -- mine is one of the first reviews). My reviewalso contains a photo of the big scratches in the door and body of the brand new car I purchased from this fleabag 1-star dealership. There are also numerous 1-star reviews for this dealership on Yelp which reflects the dissatisfaction of many of their customers with regard to sales and service.I purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger R/T on 9/9/16. The car was supposed to be new.After signing all of the paperwork and waiting 2 additional hours for the vehicle to be detailed, they finally brought the car out to me. I walked around it and sure enough, there was a big scratch on the passenger rear door and 2 on the adjacent quarter panel. Obviously someone at the dealership had been careless. The person who detailed the vehicle knew the scratches were there as did the salesman and manager. But of course they all hoped I wouldn't notice. Well I did notice and showed it to the salesman, who had the manager come out. I took a photo and the manager told me they would pay my local body shop in Ohio to have to have it repaired. At the time, I thought it was just a simple touch up but it ended up that the entire door and quarter had to be repainted. When I brought the vehicle to my local body shop, the owner inspected the vehicle and gave me the bad news: The door and quarter would need to be repainted -- the scratches could not just be touched up; and the entire rear bumper had been repainted prior to sale, and incorrectly, so that there were small black lines where the bumper meets the quarter, and there were dirt nibs on the underside of the bumper because whoever did the repair had not cleaned it properly prior to repainting it. I'M NOT EVEN DONE YET. On top of all of that, the driver's side rear door had been dinged and there was a plastic trim piece inside the driver's side rear door that was not on correctly.This is how Palmer Dodge gave me the vehicle after all of the paperwork had been signed. I was willing to accept the vehicle based only on the scratches and what I thought would be a simple touch up but I never would have accepted the vehicle had I known the true extent of the damage and that the rear bumper had been repainted (incorrectly, as it turned out) and would need yet another repaint. After I got the vehicle home (a 700-mile drive), I took it to my local Chrysler dealership's collision center and they provided an estimate of almost $1400.00 to repair everything. Yes, you read that right...1400 DOLLARS TO REPAIR A SUPPOSEDLY BRAND NEW CAR. Palmer Dodge agreed to pay for the repair, as they should have, because they knew they were wrong in all of this. But not once did they ever offer to compensate me for the now diminished value of this repainted vehicle, or for my inconvenience, my stress, and the emotional toll this has taken on me. My brand new car that I worked so hard for and waited so long to purchase, and this is what Palmer did to a customer. They keep telling me about Georgia state law that allows them to do this, that and the other. That is their defense. They have no interest in taking responsibility for their actions, for committing fraud, for lying to me, and selling me a car that was not actually new. New cars should not have parts repainted after the factory paint job, and dings, scratches and trim pieces incorrectly installed. I have not even mentioned the terrible job the detailer did -- the car was brought out with stuff still on the carpet and white flecks all over the dash on the passenger side near the a/c vent. I had to re-vacuum the car and scrub the white flecks off myself. I hope by now that whoever is reading this is getting the full picture of just how scammy and dishonest and horrible Palmer Dodge really is.A good dealership would not only abide by the law but would do everything it could to deliver a vehicle in the condition it should be in at delivery. If I wanted a repainted car, I'd have bought a used car that had had paint work. All I wanted was a new car -- one that had no defects or issues, and that still had all the factory paint! Now I am stuck with this car and the payments because Georgia law does not allow me to return the vehicle based on these issues. I've spoken with numerous people and spent hours on websites researching this, and I believe I have a claim against this dealership. So I will be filing a lawsuit for diminished value and punitive damages for inconvenience, stress, and for the emotional toll this has taken on me. On top of all of that, my brand new car sat in the body shop for a week, which meant I could not drive it and enjoy my new car in the good weather. And Palmer couldn't care less about any of this. Their attitude is, we paid for the repairs and that should be the end of it. We do not care about diminished value, your inconvenience, your stress or your emotions. All we care about is, we got another car off the lot.I want to also mention that KIMBERLY, who works in the title department at Palmer Dodge, is a crass person who is difficult to deal with, argumentative, and who does not know how to do her job properly. Kimberly sent me a tax check to give to my local title bureau that was made out to the wrong party and she actually argued with the lady in the title office and with me about whose mistake it was. She doesn't take any responsibility for her mistakes and blames everyone else. She fits in perfectly at Palmer, where they lie and scam and make errors and take no responsibility except doing the bare minimum.To anyone reading this, please do yourself a favor and avoid Palmer Dodge in Roswell, GA.Thornton Chrysler in Lithia Springs is only 30 minutes away. I'm sure you can get a much betterdeal there AND you'd end up with a new car that actually IS a new car -- and without it needing $1400 in paint and body work!!!!!

October 15th 2016 after being lied to and waiting five and a half hours at Landmark Dodge I brought my car to Palmer which is my usual dealership. I was 9th and line as they opened on a Saturday morning after telling my story to the service agents they moved my car to the front of the line apologized for landmarks negligence replaced my battery and had me on my way in about an hour and a half I love this service department have always been treated great every time I come and will continue to do so.

NOTE: this review is written by an employee of the world's most advanced business jets. I have been in customer service and product support for multi-million dollar aircraft for +20 years. That is not to indicate I deserve preferential treatment, it is to convey that - All customers deserve equal and valued treatment.To preface this review, the rating does not apply to our salesperson (Tony White), who was very accommodating, courteous and took us on one of the best test drives I have ever been on in my 27 years of driving.In an attempt to perform one business transaction, we drove my 2010 Maxima SV (fully loaded with 68k miles) to try and trade it while purchasing the used 2015 Ram 1500. My wife and I are accustomed to talking about the trade-in AFTER making a deal on the purchase, but Palmer does it backwards. So, the transaction began on a bad note when Nick Barron (General Sales Manager) suggested my vehicle was only worth $8k, after I indicated I'd like $14k. Please understand, I had two local appraisals performed where I am being offered a cash value of $10 and $12k.Obviously, we declined the trade-in and moved on to the purchase. We informed Tony that we needed to know the final price so we could sell some investments and return in two weeks (when our children would be with grandma again) to take delivery. In the meantime, we were willing to complete the contract and pay the typical $500 non-refundable binder for them to hold the vehicle. This all seemed to be understood and we moved forward with negotiations.The asking price was fair, but after noting some significant scratches and a dent with missing paint on the hood, we requested $1k off of the $40k asking price. Round 1: Tony returns with "good news", which turns out to be the same asking price. I'm still confused as to where the "good news" was. We send him back, and the Sales Manager returns. He was willing to accept the offer IF we took delivery immediately. We reminded him that we did not have our securities liquidated yet to provide more than the holding deposit and financing was not an option. "Let me talk to our GM on the phone. He isn't here."A few minutes later the Sales Manager indicates, we can't hold it for $500. We wait for him to indicate they may need $1k as a binder, but he says nothing. We ask, how much are you asking to hold it with us making a commitment to purchase by signing the contract? He blurts out, "10 thousand dollars"!At that point it was obvious that they had no interest in selling us the truck, which is why they threw out an unreasonable holding deposit. We asked for our keys, since they never gave them back after appraising the Maxima. The Sales Manager then states, "I left them in the car"! Note that this is a keyless entry vehicle, so anyone could have gotten into the driver's seat and drove away.For many reasons, I recommend any customer to stay away from this dealership if you desire to be treated the respect that all customers deserve in addition to receiving a fair price.If the GM has the opportunity to read this, I'd recommend you reconsider who represents your business as the Sales Manager. The individual currently in this position does not have the consideration or desire to provide quality customer communication and service, which negatively impacts dealership loyalty. Not only has this event caused the loss of our business, but the business of whomever can correlate with our experience. Most of all, you have lost the business of the 14,000 employees I plan to share this negative experience with, as I have never been treated this poorly, especially when attempting to make a purchase.

I do NOT recommend this dealership for service, EVERY TIME we go there we have an ISSUE!!!We had an appointment to have the DRIVER side airbag replaced on our Chrysler 300.Got there for the appointment at 9am this morning and they said they DIDN'T have the PARTS!Why make the appointment if you DON'T have the parts, and if they didn't come in then CALL YOUR CUSTOMER and say you NEED TO RESCHEDULE the appointment, as the parts are NOT HERE YET!They then proceeded to say they will fix the passenger side air bag they we were NOT aware HAD A PROBLEM!The sheer lack of professionalism at this dealership is really amazing to me.I will NEVER go back there after this problem is resolved!!!

Purchased a car from this dealership and it has been in the service center since I purchased it. The service center is horrible. You don't know how long your car will be in the shop, how much it will cost, and will not be offered a rental or loaner car. The staff here will most likely refer to you as the "annoying customer" because you have to contact them numerous times to figure out what the heck is going on.I would not bring my vehicle here for service. They are extremely quick to get your money but after that you are screwed!

I talk to the service department guy about my car and the problem I was having with it. He told me it would take at least 3 day to fix. Because they have to take part out and send it of to be fixed. So I dropped car off on th 20th. Called to pic up car on the 26th. Car wasn't ready. Go pick it and they tell me I have to leave car so they can take part out to send off. That's why I left it there for a week. The only thing they done was diagnostic test. Which it didn't need because it all ready been done. And they didn't put my center console back together. A left oil on steering wheel which gotten on my pants. Poor service .

salesperson was nice and professional. this is where it stops. test drove a new Cherokee latitude and had discussed price and personal financing which was well understood in advance and agreed upon with the salesperson. next day I go to finalize and pay and am presented with the final price , taxes, fees and trade in. again , all to our satisfaction and ready to finalize. on a whim I politely asked what their rates wouldl be compared to what my bank quoted me for the loan and they said "yes" , " give us the chance to see if we can beat your banks rate" and they did come up with a more favorable rate. I still decided to go through my own bank . this is where their attitude changed. new person walks in and say's we will have to add another $1000.00 if you do not finance through the dealership. they were not very friendly anymore and my salesperson had disappeared. bait and switch, smoke and mirrors, call it what you will. we said " give back my keys to my trade in " and we walked.

Went to look at a used car advertised for $15,995. Sean met me in the lot, was very nice. Car was a nice recent trade - it had not been detailed but was very clean. Although I wanted to pay cash, I was told I had to finance in order to get the advertised price. The price was acceptable and typical of dealer retail in the books, so I asked Sean to itemize the total, get me an APR and we'd close the deal on Saturday. A day later I was told that the advertised price was a "mistake" and it was really thousands more, but the sales manager would honor the price. So then they proceeded to add on a $599 "doc fee". I asked what this was for since it only takes 15 minutes to file the forms. I was told this was for dealer prep, gas, etc. I replied that none of this had been done to the car, and I didn't want it done. I offered to pay $100 for filing the documents but any more than that would require an itemized list. Then I was told that the doc fee was non-negotiable. They also added a $160 charge for "electronic registration". Since the $39 charge for the title transfer/tags was already on the list, I asked about this charge which typically costs the dealer $10-$15. I offered to pay it if I was given the itemized charges from the DMV. Again, no negotiation.Palmer also required me to finance in order to get the advertised price. The new Georgia Ad Velorum tax law gives dealers that finance 1/3 of the new tax kicked back to them. So if Palmer finances, they charge 6.75% but the actual tax they pay is 4.25%. That's another ~$400 more profit.My experience with Sean was great. My experience with Palmer Dodge was terrible - whoever was making the policy decisions on my deal was completely dishonest. I walked away from the deal and I will not visit them again.It appears that some Georgia dealers have made a habit of screwing unsuspecting buyers with a huge "doc fee". Buyers should be aware that this and other bogus fees are added to the total at closing, and these fees should be challenged as they are nothing more than dishonest profit by an unscrupulous dealership.

Did a lot of research on the internet before visiting. Palmer had great prices advertised. Met with Joe McDonald and he made this a completely straight forward deal. No games, no regrets. Joe even found an additional discount that Palmer was able to extend due to my employer partnership. Dustin in the business office was also completely straight forward and honest. On a whim, my husband and I stopped in at Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep to browse used Jeep Wranglers. We were approached by a salesman, Sean O'Grady, who was not only a wealth of information, but very earnest and eager to help us in anyway possible. We instantly had confidence in Sean. We have bought a lot of cars over the years and I can honestly say Sean went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied customers. (we ended up buying a new Wrangler/Sahara and love it!) His knowledge of cars/trucks/jeeps far exceeds any salesperson we have ever dealt with in the past, I have already recommended his services to a family member who may be in the market for a new jeep. I have passed this dealership many times before and never gave it any thought. I will certainly recommend them solely based on our recent experience. Mike was very nice to work with as was the buying process.The problems arose when I drove the 2008 Ford F150 Limited home and had it checked out by a Ford Dealership the very next week. The A/C ground faulted and had to be rewired so I asked the mechanic to do a thorough inspection of the truck. The tires on the truck were mismatched and had significant uneven tread-wear which is a big deal on an AWD vehicle. This caused the AWD to overcompensate/kick-in because it thought the truck was slipping which could cause premature transmission problems. This was known once the tires were rotated, so I had to buy 4 new tires as well. The brake fluid was low, the windshield washer fluid was empty, and the brake pads were measured at 1-2mm, they were essentially metal on metal. This could have been disastrous if I had needed to slam on the brakes. So I had the front brake pads replaced as well. I contacted Mike to let him know that I don't believe Palmer Dodge's Service Dept. ever did a maintenance inspection/service on the vehicle because if they did the normal maintenance stuff above, except the A/C, would have been caught and should have been corrected before being placed on the lot. He agreed and upon checking with the owner said "the Owner said to make it right what the truck had cost me." Well, after way too many phone calls and countless service receipts emailed between myself and Mike, the end result is nothing. Since buying this truck I have also now replaced the alternator, the wire connection from alternator to battery, the battery twice, a steering joint on the front left tire, and now I need to have the steering wheel cruise control switch fixed. The deal making was a good experience, but the trustworthiness and the "doing the right thing for the customer" from the dealership, is very disheartening. So yes, signing the "as is" statement is exactly what might should cause the next buyer a moment to stop and due his/her due diligence in regards to the service records of a used vehicle from here. Don't just ask, "Has this been thru your service dept.?"

The way this dealership handles legitimate customer inquires is IMO a complete joke. Chrysler needs to take a closer look into this dealer's practice / CSR if they care about how a dealership represents their brand.We live in Roswell and I would hope a local big brand car dealership would pride itself in projecting a professional image towards their community.We genuinely gave Palmer a chance to make a seriously EZ car deal with us...here is a summary of what happened to date;** 3 weeks ago my wife visited Palmer and inquired about "special ordering" a new '14 Grand Cherokee (to her specifications due to lack of any lot availability)as her current Jeep lease is ending.Hello, total legit repeat buyer with brand loyalty here fellas, right???!!!!!!!The salesperson was "friendly", but ultimately he failed in providing a simple competitive quote and lease number breakdown for this seemingly EZ Special Order when we asked for such info.He merely quoted MSRP of a comp vehicle and a seemingly inflated payment WITHOUT any breakdown (sorry, we DO NOT make a buying decision based on a payment quote and clearly indicated this, we simply asked for a true competitive selling price and the money factor % used, which to me doesn't seem like an unreasonable request... go ahead and make a fair profit, just give us a simple breakdown.After SEVERAL POLITE inquiries by my wife and myself, we NEVER RECEIVED ANY RESPONSES by phone, email, or text.Ultimately after these several requests, they NEVER WOULD OR DID PROVIDE THIS BASIC INFO to help us make a BUYING decision.We were never once rude, and always said please and thank you in advance while asking for the basic info and waiting for a response.It makes no sense to me why these questions from a prospective buyer would be ignored by both Sales and F&I representatives.NO EXCUSE, PERIOD.So yes, they missed this ez opportunity to "earn our local business" due to their lack of answering our basic vehicle buying inquires.** Today Dec. 12th, my wife called them to "schedule the end of lease inspection" as instructed per Chrysler Financial.The person who answered her call BASICALLY LAUGHED AT HER and said "why waste your time with that, ha ha, just turn it in to a dealer, THAT'S STUPID to even bother doing an inspection BECAUSE CHRYSLER DOESN'T CARE."Hhhmmmm... I saw a Subaru WRX on line that was exactly what we wanted. I was reluctant to inquire because I live in Ohio! The price seemed too good to be true. I read the reviews, checked ratings and pricing for the car (it was used). I called and as I had hoped (based on his reviews), Tony White took my call. He was actually fun to talk to. He is cheerful, energetic, and honest. He was not the least bit pushy. He was working hard to do a good job for his dealer while making me feel like he was making a deal for a family member. He was aware of my fear of buying from Ohio and was very accommodating to my situation. I had the car checked out by a company called Lemon Squad which made me feel better about buying a car I had not seen. The car checked out exactly as described. I was not aware of Georgia documentation fees at dealerships..so if you are out of state..ask about those and shipping (I used Alpine Transport Inc. and was very pleased). Mr. White kept in touch with me throughout the shipping process and was always charming and professional. I would not hesitate to buy a car from Palmer. By the way, my car is AWESOME!!!!

Not only did this dealership have the best price (their prices on the Dart were about $1200 less than the next best price across the board), but they were professional, friendly and helpful. We compared the Jeep she had with another very similiar Jeep at a notehr dealership and went thtrought the differences. She has owned multiple Jeeps so her knowledge was very useful. She spent more time on educating than selling. Entire transaction up to signing the paperwork was handled remotely. When I arived the Jeep was ready including newly installed equipment. I signed all the paperwork and was out of the door in about 20 minutes.

Went to Palmer Dodge after seeing a web deal for a used HONDA civic. While I certainly don't expect to get a new car I was suprised at what I ended up with. The right front brake rub that was supposed to be fixed - wasn't and has gotten worse. There is a front end rattle that is so loud that you can't hear yourself talk over it. When I arrived to pick up my car that was promised to be ready and waiting to go I eneded up waiting almost an 90 minutes before the car was fiinally given to me. The original salesman was busy trying to sell a new car and I was told several times that the car was being preped and would by up soon. Finally, I got someone else to go find out what was going on. The ar came up and it was obvisous that it had not been being preped. Should have left the car there and called a cab. By far worst car and worst car purchasing expereince I have ever had.

This was the 2nd time I had driven 7 hours to purchase a vehicle from Palmer and the 2nd time that I purchased a vehicle from Mike Gebhart as well. Both buying experiences were exceptional!! Everything was laid out before I drove down and there were no surprise fees or anything of that nature that has happened at other dealerships in my past. Not only is the staff top quality but the quality of their vehicles they have sold me both times is second to none. It's really hard to find a used Jeep Wrangler that has been lifted and doesn't have some kind of malfunction or wearing on it, but the two I have purchased have been of the highest quality everything from parts, to aesthetics, to workmanship. I highly recommend this dealer and Mike Gebhart as well. I can pretty much guarantee I will be making that 7 hour drive again sooner than later for any of my automobile purchases.

We had been searching for months for a very specific vehicle need for my wife. I was going to buy used either from a dealer or private sale and it was very hard to find what we wanted with a reasonable price. Palmer happened to get one of what we were looking for and I decided to try to work with them (I read the reviews and I was impressed). I picked Tony White from the reviews specifically to contact. Tony was better than most dealer sales people right off the bat as he was excited and helpful, but not overly pushy. Tony actually worked with me on price over the phone since it was a bit of a drive to come to the dealership. Overall, we were very happy with the experience with Tony and Robert Noll in Financing. There were no surprises during our purchase process. After our paperwork was complete, something odd happened outside the control of Tony. We had to get the GM (Todd Blackstone) involved and I was impressed with how he worked with us in a sticky situation. In the end, I felt like we were treated very well and I would have no hesitation recommending Palmer to others. I brought my 2007 Grand Cherokee in for service and I was beyond thrilled with the service, despite the issues my vehicle was having. This was my first encounter with a Jeep dealership in GA since moving here last year. Last week, I brought the car in last week for an acceleration issue but unfortunately no certain issue was found. Then, a couple of days later it started leaking coolant and I brought it back in-- the same rep worked with me and in addition to working on the current issue, he also noted the acceleration issue to be checked as well in case there was a connection. Well, come to find out- I had three separate issues all contributing to the acceleration issue and the team went above and beyond to make sure that the two new (and one unforeseen!) issues were fixed and the cost was reasonable. I tend to have my doubts when working with a dealership but Palmer Jeep and the service crew put those doubts to rest.

In January 2013 I was fortunate enough to have had a great experience purchasing a new Dodge Durango from Palmer Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge in Alpharetta GA. As a resident of Orlando FL I had no intention of looking outside the Central Florida area for my new vehicle. However, after one quick email from me and a prompt phone call from their sales person Mike Gebhardt, I knew my plans needed to change. The speed, accuracy, and integrity that Mike and the rest of the team at Palmer provided were impressive. Over the course of one evening, via phone and email, I was able to get a price that could not be beat by the dealerships in Central Florida and have that offer sent to me signed by the sales manager with a phone call follow-up from Todd Blackstone the GM. The dealership honored their quoted price and played no games upon my arrival. Even after the cost of rental car and gas from Orlando to Atlanta, the deal at Palmer was still cheaper than the best deal in Central Florida. Prior to my arrival all the necessary paperwork was completed and awaiting my signature. This was accomplished utilizing information provided over the phone, computer, and via text messages. Due to the efficiency with which Mike and the team works, I was able to inspect the vehicle and start my drive home within an hour of arriving at the dealership. Mike is a very genuine individual who is obviously committed to customer satisfaction and prides himself on honesty and integrity. Overall, I was very impressed with Mike and the entire team at Palmer. I have recommend Mike and Palmer to my family and friends and I look forward to doing business with Mike and Palmer Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge in the future. Respectfully, Justin

I recently had a great experinece at Palmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep and I thought it was important to express my grattitude to the guys that made it happen. Palmer always seem to have a really great mix of pre-owned cars so I decided to check out their website. I called on a Toyota 4-Runner Sport I liked and spoke with Buddy Buddin, he confirmed it was still available and invited me to come in for a test drive. I brought a 2005 Jeep Wrangler in that I was thinking of buying from CarMax to get looked at and generally inspected. Mr. Tim Rankin was the Mechanic who looked at it and spent the time to throughly go over everything on the jeep to ensure it was a sound purchase for me. I might add that this was all free of any charge because I had a free 31point inspection coupon that they had sent me. I have also had Mr. Rankin work on my 2005 Jeep Liberty and have always found him to be knowledgable, honest and willing to take the time to show you what your vehical needs done if anything. They are doing a good job bringing you into the door - the service afterwards is a disgrace to the free market place. Love, love, love these guys. We have been looking for a 4-door Jeep Wrangler for 6+ months. We got a little serious about 6 months ago and found ourselves at Palmer DCJ. They were supper responsive. We worked with Nick Barron at the time with some "light" negotiations and he was reasonable and fair. Ultimately we just decided it was not time to pull the trigger. Last week we were back at thinking it was time to get the 4-door. We have a 2-door, but the kids are bigger and we just needed the bigger Jeep. We actually found a used one on CL that we looked at and thought we could save some money by going that route. More out of curiosity we decided to price the new ones just to see how far off we were. There was no question we were going back to Palmer DCJ b/c our first experience was so good and we just got the sense they are really honest and fair and above board with all that they do. So, we walked in and we were greeted by Robert Coleman, who we now know is the best sales guy ever (I'm sure the others are great, but he was our guy :->). Robert was SUPER knowledgeable about the 2013 Jeeps and made the looking and test driving and the whole experience easy and fun. So amazingly, once we found the one we wanted and got to talking price we found that the new 2013 was going to be the much better deal than the used one we had looked at the previous day. We got to work with Nick again on the negotiations and even had Todd Blackstone the General Sales Mgr help with some fine print to get the deal done. Overall Palmer DCJ made the decision easy to go for the brand new 2013 true blue Jeep Wrangler Sport and we drove her off the lot yesterday! We got top dollar for our trade, a great price for the Jeep, easy process for financing with a great rate, and overall worked with a great group of people to make it all happen. In our journey to find our new Jeep we did visit one other dealership and we can say hands down Palmer DCJ is the place from where you should buy your next car. When you are talking about such a big purchase you want to work with people who you trust and make you feel good about the experience. We felt just that way with Robert and Nick and Todd and everyone we got to interact with over the past few days at Palmer DCJ. We cant say enough good and will recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy dealership to buy their next car. Thanks Palmer DCJ!!!

WHO you buy a car FROM is just as important as what car you buy. It is a partnership beyond the actual purchase price. They are geniune people who care about their customers. This was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I HATE buying cars. Jordan was incredible. I had originally planned on purchasing my Jeep locally in my hometown of Panama City, Florida. The deal I received at Palmer was EXPONENTIALLY better than that of my local dealership. In fact when I called my local dealer back and told them the deal I was getting with Palmer and offered to keep my money local if they would match it, they said "let me call you back". I'm still waiting a month later. I have already referred 3 others to Palmer.

When I made an offer, she spoke with her sales manager, Nick Barron, and returned my call promptly.Closing the deal was easy. The fiance person, Robert Noll, was pleasant and provided the required information. There were no surprises. Everything was done as Jordan had stated to me.We were at the dealership for approximately one and one-half hours. They disappeared after the saleI was an out of town buyer and had to rely on the salesman for complete report on the condition of the vehicle purchased.Per purchase I couldnt say enough good stuff, great communication, great response, very helpful.Both the salesmen and I somehow overlooked the fact that both front rims were bent. Even after the dealership replaced the tires they still did not mention this safety defect to me.Only after I got back home did I notice this problem.Tried to contact the salesmen, sales manager, even the Vice President of the dealership and received no response.Finally after two weeks got a phone message from the sales manager and a week later and 4 returned calls have still not heard back from him.In short, pre-sale service A+ post sale service F-.Im guessing the Palmer dealership cares only about my money and cares nothing for my business, satisfaction as a customer, not the safety of my family or pre-owned vehicles they sell.

Mike Gebhardt rescued me from a lackluster sales experience. I was leaving the lot because the other guy was so clueless about salesmanship. Mike asked if there was anything he could do to help and I said I was going somewhere else to buy a Jeep. Well, I didn't have to. I walked in to view a 2012 Wrangler 4 door hard top Jeep when my mind was set on purchasing a Mercedes ML350. I didnt realize it at the time, but the tires were in very poor condition, so by the time I went for my first oil change after 3000 miles, the recommendation was FOUR NEW TIRES. I couldnt help wondering why Palmer Dodge would even put the car on the lot if it knew that all the tires were in need of replacement. Buyer beware.When I went back to my Sales person, he stated nothing could be done. His manager was also not very cooperative. I went to service to get the records on the vehicle. The service Manager, David Keller said he would do what it took to make the situation right. If it had not been for David Keller and the Service Team, I dont know what I would have done.I would not purchase a vehicle from Palmer Dodge but I will continue to get my car serviced there as well and refer my friends/co-workers. I would only recommend Service, not sales.

Very bad experience. I said that I wanted to pay cash - the sales rep tried to convince me to finance for 10 solid minutes after that. The entire time I told her we were wasting time because I wasn't going to finance - she was very stubborn. (I had a cashiers check sitting in my wallet...) Then I made an offer on the car (I was about $700 below suggested retail value on kbb) and she came back $2000 above SR. Then she tried to get me to offer $1000 above SR and I told her straight up that I was not paying above SR for the car - once again she was stubborn and quite rude. She went and got the sales manager who stated that they "have the best prices around" and that I "would never find a similar car for that price." I left the dealership quite frustrated that my experience could have possibly been that bad. I went on to the next dealership on my stop (the toyota dealership about 2 miles from palmers) and found that the toyota dealership was asking $500 below SR for almost the exact same car. The only difference in the cars? The one at the toyota dealership has 1k more miles and was a certified preowned vehicle (aka, 100k warrenty included). I talked them down to $900 below SR and walked away a happy camper. Long store short - do not bother to visit Palmer's Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram. It will be a waste of your time.

I had a very good experience at this dealership. Mike knew a lot about Jeeps and was able to answer all my questions. They had a good selection to choose from and I found just what I was looking for (a Jeep Wrangler Sahara in "dozer" yellow). We received EXCELLENT service from David Jones. He was able to answer all the questions about the Jeep and come to find out he has only been on the job a few months. David listened to what we wanted, he told us what he could and could not do. There was no pressure from him. If he didn't know the answer, he let us know that and was willing to get the answers for us. When we picked up the car, it was spotless. David got in the car with us and showed us how to hook up our phones, and answered all the questions we had before leaving the lot. He also told us we could call him if we had any additional questions. David is an EXCELLENT sales rep.I would definitely recommend David Jones to friends and family. The only advice I would give to the dealership who had cars flying out the door on the day we were there, you should have more finance people on staff. We chose not to wait around because David being the wonderful sales rep offered to call us when it was our turn to be processed. EXCELLENT SERVICE MR. JONES.

Recall work on 2007 Jeep and Check Engine/Gas Cap Light - %23.00 to reset the light and it is back on. Palmer did nothing and wasted two days and 30 miles round trip. I can do the same thing unhooking the battery. Won't be back and they won't get the opportunity at the next Chrysler purchase.

Not only did Palmer Dodge exemplify a high level of integrity, but Gabriel, Todd, and Richard (finance) worked their butts off to make my deal work and get my husband and I in the car we wanted for the price we wanted.There were some obstacles (none that Palmer was in control of or to blame for) but the guys helped us get through them with ease.Prior to coming to Palmer, we contacted Ed Voyles and Hayes and neither dealers were able to offer us what Palmer did. Gabriel is kind and knows his stuff and I'd send someone to him in a heartbeat. Todd is a great guy as well and was willing to negotiate where other dealerships were not. Richard in finance had a huge part in getting the financing approved even with some issues he knew how to push the deal through- experience is necessary and invaluable in this industry and these guys are very experienced.I'd recommend anyone and everyone to stop by, they have a vast selection and if they don't have it they'll get it for you.

Our salesman Cliff is very professional and was very helpful to us in purchasing our second new vehicle from Palmer Dodge.The sales area is very clean and updated, however, the Service area is outdated, dirty and not very accessible. I was very surprised to see how outdated it was in comparision to the nice showroom and sales desks with all updated furnishings. The narrow road to get to the Service Area is horrible and outdated...instead of pulling into an enclosed area, the customer has to leave the car outside and dash into the service desk area. Customers care about the Service Area being updated and CLEAN!

I live in Savannah GA where the Jeep prices are excruciatingly high, so when searching for a new vehicle within 200 miles, Palmer DCJ had the best internet prices available on the EXACT 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that I was looking for (out of an incredible stock of over 40 different vehicles of similar style!). I called their internet sales number and was greeted by Cliff Mullaney who was very attentive, knowledgeable, affable and sometimes even downright hilarious - an excellent gentleman to do business with. I picked up a one-way rental car to make the drive to Roswell and check out the new Wrangler before purchase (even though they do have delivery options) and he even assisted me with returning my Enterprise rental and arranging means of contacting the manager of the rental company despite the close of business for the evening. All around one of the best purchasing experiences I have ever had! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone, especially my ex-military and Gulfstream co-workers who would greatly benefit from the discounts and prices that range from $5,000-7,000 cheaper than local window stickers.

We had a lot of questions about the Jeep we wanted to buy, and it was nice to have a salesperson who could answer the questions we had with confidence. We loved the fact that there was such an assortment of vehicles for us to consider. We probably would have been happy with the Sport, but we are thrilled with all of the extras the Rubicon provides. Coming to an agreement on a price of the vehicle was easy, the price offered was excellent. We had been to the Canton dealership and also the Jasper dealership. Their prices were higher than yours. We traded in a 2006 Charger, and coming to an agreed price on that was easy also. A few offers and counter-offers and everyone was happy. I never felt any high pressure, which tends to make me nervous and then I just leave. Paying for the car was quick and easy. Richard was very helpful in explaining all kinds of additional insurance that is available. Finally, delivery of the vehicle was very informative. DJ even paired up our smartphone for us before we left!!

We met McKinley at Palmer Chrysler/Jeep during our final stop ater visting Ford, GMC, and Toyota dealers. Frankly, we were fairly certain at the time that we would be purchasing a high end/luxury SUV significantly more expensive than the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland/Summit which McKinley steered us toward. We were focused on full range luxury features, safety, mechanical reliability/performance and competitive fuel performance. Without "down selling" his competitor's products, McKinley talked us through extensive comparisons and his incredible knowledge of the Jeep convinced us we could meet all our objectives/needs in an SUV with the Grand Cherokee Overlad/Summit. While price was not our top priority, the value/price advantage with the Jeep and the dealership were evident through McKinsey's presentations and discussions. We made seveal visits to drive and re-examine the vehicle and took up quite a bit of McKinsey's time as we needed to convince ourselves that this was the right product to meet our current and long term needs. His schedule was "jammed" but he found the time and patience to make my wife and I feel we were his exclusive focus. Without the traditional hassles normally associated with many car purchasing proceses, he created a very profesional, comfortable dialogue and quickly gave us an unsolicited price he felt would be approved by the dealership. We had done a significant amount of pricing research and while the price range McKinsey mentioned was not the lowest we had seen published, it was a very fair and highly competitive offer. Our impressions of McKinsey, the individuals we observed during our visits and the reputation of the dealersip more than offset any price differences in our decision making process. The day we needed to make the final purchase decision was a day McKinsey could not be at work. He made sure that an outstanding associate DJ Wilkes) was available to complete the transaction. This demonstration of cooperation, continuity, and teamwork completely reinforced our pruchase decision.

We had spent several weeks visiting various Jeep dealers, comparing prices and options, as well as shopping the used market. We visited the Palmer dealership again because not only did they have the color/options we were looking for, it was several thousand lower than anywhere. Once we had test driven the Jeep, our salesman guided us into an office which he promptly left for several minutes. He came back with papers for us to fill out (credit app type information), and left again. A few minutes after we had completed those he came back and collected them and again left. Then began a process of bringing in offers in the form of an estimated monthly payment. We would ask a question ranging from "how long is the length of this loan?", to "what is the impact of putting another thousand down?". For each question he would leave again for a few minutes and return with a new number scribbled on the paper, each time asking if we were committing to buying the car. At roughly the hour Mark of us being at the dealer we said show us the loan details and we will buy it for that price. Not a problem he said and promptly left for 20 minutes. This began a ritual of every 20 minutes he would stick his head in the door, telling us the finance guy would be with us in "just a few minutes" and leaving promptly. Two and a half hours after we agreed to purchasing the car, I left the office and expressed my displeasure with the sales manager and told him we were leaving. He added to a by now long list of apologies for our wait, and within a few minutes we were finally speaking with the finance guy and looking over loan papers. Clearly aware of our wait and our mood this process was very quick and without issue. Finally we were done. Thank goodness, as we were ready to leave at this point. Of course we were not able to as they were unable to locate our new vehicle. I was told they were filling up the gas. When we finally left we were thrilled. Sadly more thrilled to leave than the fun of a new car. On our drive home, we had to pull over to read over the owner's manual as the dealer hadn't gone over something as simple as turning on the headlights. I had really thought it couldn't get any worse but the next day I got an email from one of the gentlemen who sold me the car. It began "It has been a couple of weeks since you submitted your request to us here at Palmer Dodge. I do not know what your current status is in the market and wanted to contact you." I love the car. I've wanted a Jeep for quite a while. The price was literally the best I found in Atlanta. I completely regret buying it from this dealer however. Hindsight is 20/20, and in hindsight I would have been much happier spending 2-3 thousands dollars more at a Jeep dealer that would have made half an effort.

When we bought our 2006 Mercedes E350 from Palmer Dodge in September of last year we had some slight misunderstandings about some of the functionality of the car. For example, we thought that in car phone service was available as well as navigation. Mercedes puts in the hooks for such features but does not necessarily include the service as a standard feature. this caused some level of confusion and the team at Palmer Dodge worked through the confusion and was able to make adjustments to the original pricing to allow for installation of one of the features.Having a sales team that is willing to work through issues and keep the customer satisfied was crucial to us getting the car. We were at the point where if that did not happen we were ready to walk away from the deal.Since purchasing the car, the Palmer Customer Support team has stayed in touch regularly letting us know of maintenance and service check milestones. Called on a Saturday and talked to Randy about a Jeep I was interested in and he told me he'd be waiting for me. When I arrived, Randy got the Jeep and we test drove. He wasn't pushy and answered all the questions my wife and I had about the car. Once we decided to buy, he worked with us to make sure we could walk out with the Jeep. It did take a little bit of negociating because the 1st offer was out of our budget and quite higher than we wanted to pay ($60/month difference than what the website calculated as our monthly payments. We were able to work it down to a level where we both felt comfortable. Randy did a good job explaining the extended warranties but wasn't too pushy if we didn't want them. Once, everything was worked out, then Robert walked us through all of the paperwork. He explained a couple more warranties and insurance coverages but wasn't pushy with them. Everything went smooth with him and we walked out with the Jeep. Overall, I was pleased with my experience. It went very smoothly and didn't take to much time. If you looking for a Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep then I'd recommend Palmer.

We had heard good things about Palmer Dodge and just happen to find a vehicle online that suited what we needed and our price range. While we are satisfied with the vehicle, we felt as though our experience with Palmer Dodge could have been better. There were many "little" things with our vehicle and the sale that could have made our buying experience wonderful, but management and sales seemed unwavering when we asked them to fix certain things, or to make other things right before we took home the vehicle. We had to take the vehicle back a few days later and almost beg them to fix something so minor, that would only have taken them a few minutes and a few dollars to remedy. The sale was very long and tedious and it didn't need to be. While the sales team seemed very friendly while we were buying, the few times we've been back, it seems any questions we had were unreasonable and beyond their concern.

The staff was warm in their greetings, genuine in their desire to help, and honest in their business. Kevin Tate was very nice not pushy and took care of our needs while in the dealership and after the purchase. I would also like to note that Kevin even went beyond his responsibilities and helPed to wash the car after the purchase to expedite the delivery. One comment I would like to make is to sales manager to always provide the quote considering credit score is the worst possible aboiding frustration or misleading the possible final monthly payment. Also the dealership should have called chrysler financial as soon as I got there the first day and not take my information as the accurate one.

Palmer Dodge, and specifically Nubian Holes (Sales) were recommended to me by a friend who purchased a truck at this dealership. I was told that everyone here was straight forward and they didn't play any games. Everything I heard was true, purchasing a car at Palmer was an overall pleasant experience. The sales price on the car was great to begin with and required minimal negotiation. The trade-in process was relatively easy, with only one round of negotiation. After the price was agreed on, Richard in the finance department was excellent. He basically threw in an extended warranty for an extra dollar a month. Remember, selling cars is a business. The dealership has to make a profit to. You wouldn't do your job for free. As long as you realize Palmer Dodge will offer you fair pricing and financing, you will have a pleasant experience here. We will likely be back to purchase another car in the future. Total time in dealership from walk in to drive out - 3.5 hours.

Not only were all of the staff friendly and hepful but Cliff once again made the experience effortless and hassel free. Cliff pulled a CarFax report on the vehicle for us and once we decided on what we wanted he even organzied to have a DVD system put in a couple of days latter, you really can't ask for more in my opinion. DJ was great. The sale was between he and another sales guy at a competitive dealership down the road. Deals were delivered via phone and the prices ended near identical, but I walked back into Palmer because of DJ. He hustled and returned calls multiple times before the other guy called me back once and he worked to distinguish Palmer vs. the competiton. I'll be referring anyone who is buying a Chrysler product to Palmer and I'll be pointing them in the direction of DJ.

I came in looking for a new vehicle because my last one of almost ten years just died (not a Jeep). I came in with my girlfriend and as soon as we pulled into the lot on that cold rainy Saturday Sales Associate DJ met us as we got out. He was a very friendly, personable and excited to assist us in locating what I was really looking for and not trying to up sale me into something I couldn't afford or something I didn't want or try to add features I didn't need. I came back the next weekend and met with DJ again. We sat down and started looking for the exact vehicle I wanted with only the package I wanted. They didn't have what I wanted on there lot so they searched other nearby dealers. He was able to locate the exact vehicle with the package I wanted and the exact color I wanted. I worked DJ and Sales Manager Nick on negotiating the price I wanted to pay for both the vehicle and for the extended warranty package. NIck was very knowledgeable and able to explain my different options and what they covered. Next, I worked with Finance Manager Robert Noll. He went over the terms of the loan and at the end was able to get me a great interest rate by shopping around for a while and not just settling with what he originally found. He was able to drop my interest rate almost a point. An hour passed from when we found the SUV to filling out the paper work and by that time the SUV had been delivered onsite from the other dealer. I did find a scratch on the gas cap door and both DJ and Nick jumped on it and agreed to have it repainted. Overall, I was very satisfied with the level of service I received from all of the associates at Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Roswell GA! :)

I have been to Palmer Dodge many times and for many different reasons and I have NEVER had a bad experience! I bought a used Chrysler Sebring convertible from Gabriel and Todd and I could not have asked for better customer service or a better deal on my car! Gabriel, Todd, and the rest of the sales staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly, and not at all aggressive while I took the time to look over their inventory. The sales staff was ready to answer any questions and also took me for a test drive of the car I eventually choose. The paperwork part of the purchase was done with ease and I felt very comfortable and not at all rushed. Throughout the past 3.5 years since I have had my car, I have had ongoing pleasant experiences with every staff member I have encountered at Palmer Dodge. I have all of the maintenance and service basics done at Palmer Dodge as well as going there to get my car detailed. I have a convertible and it cannot be taken to an automatic car wash so I take it to Palmer Dodge to get it hand washed and detailed. Allen (who has always done the detailing on my car) is always very friendly and does the most thorough job of washing and detailing I have ever had done to my car and the price is very affordable.In service, Roberto is always ready to help when something goes wrong with my car. I have had a few unfortunate mishaps with my car (for example, someone backing into it) and I always go to Palmer Dodge service to get my car fixed. They are always truthful but fair; I have never been overcharged or taken advantage of. Overall, I would (and I do) recommend Palmer Dodge to anyone I know looking to buy a car. If they dont have what you are looking for on the lot, they will go out of their way to help you find what you want. Best customer service and prices you will find!!!!

Wow! I just purchased my first NEW vehicle everand it was with Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep. On my first visit I met Dustin who listened to my wants and needs and offered several different options based on his strong knowledge of the products available through Jeep. I appreciated his sales technique, as it was not the hard sell, as I had received at other dealerships. I returned several times over the course of a good number of months, and each time Dustin was incredibly helpful, friendly and made me feel at ease by answering any questions I had. He followed up with me after each of my visits to ensure that I knew he was there to offer any additional information which could help me in my decision. Dustin took the time to describe the various options, matched them to what I was looking for in a vehicle, and explained the hands-on workings of all aspects of the Grand Cherokee models/styles. This helped me understand what choices were available so I was better able to determine which model and options were best for me. What a help!!! (And, no guilt trip for taking such a long time with my decision!)Ill admit that I was nervous when it came time for the negotiations regarding cost. Here as well, I received wonderful treatment. With the help of Nick and Dustin, I was able to attain a great price on my new Grand Cherokee, and a very fair trade-in value on my car. The whole financial end of this equation was so much easier than I had anticipated! I had read other reviews that noted a loyalty to Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Now I know why! Although Im planning on hanging on to my new Grand Cherokee for a good number of years, I think Dustin and the folks at Palmer have created the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

The sales process was smooth, simple and friendly. The follow up after the sale has also been very consistent including reminders of servicing and notifications about upcoming sales! Ken Melton didn't pressure the sale and showed me several different vehicles that fit in my budget and style choice. Overall, the best experience I've had buying a car in a VERY long time. I had heard that this dealership was top notch. When it came time to select a new Jeep I did my on line shopping for price and stopped by to talk to them. I set up the time with Ken. I was very happy to find that he was not only very knowledgeable regarding the Jeep line, he was a long time Jeep owner himself. This made the model choice so much easier, he guided me to the right vehicle. The one that fit the family life style. A really great experience. When I expressed an interest in upgrading to custom wheels and tires . Ken was also able to help me there as well. I spoke with Todd Blackstone about the options, including some special paint work. Todd was able to get everything I needed squared away . I got my Jeep , my way, and at a great price. I now refer everyone to Palmer Dodge and Todd has a great team there. This was a great experience, from the lot, to the sales office and then financing and delivery.By the way I brought my own financing to the table, they beat it!

In all of my automotive exlpoits, I can honestly say that I will NEVER buy another car, unless it is from Palmer Dodge. From front to back this is a business that gives superior service. Gabriel has never and will never steer you wrong when it comes to buying a car. He is so honest that sometimes its brutal!!! The bottom line is he won't sell you a car, unless it is perfect for you. The financing dept also makes sure that you are not getting in over your head when it comes to purchasing your vehicle. Not only do I send my friends and family their, but they too have made the committment to stay with Palmer Dodge. Even if you are looking for a non-Chrysler make and model, they will find it for you. Their service dept. is also amazing. They are open later than most and will accomodate you as much as they can. My wife's next car will be from Palmer Dodge, My daughter's car will be from Palmer Dodge, and my next car (392 Challenger SRT8 HEMI, blue with white strips, 470bhp....hint, hint) will also be from Palmer Dodge. I went to Palmer Dodge for service on my '08 Cooper S because I had noticed a hose hanging from underneath the car and it had been running rough. The car has been lowered and is tricky to work on, but Palmer Dodge had the issue handled in no time. They have some great customer service, which made the experience stress free and I was very happy with the price. Planning on servicing other vehicles here in the future.

Sold me a truck out of state, misled me about options, stating "it was exctly like the one on ebay". I believed it and bought it for that price, but arrived with less options, a vibration at highway speed and leaky windshield, which they obviously knew since they used it as demo, but chose not to fix before selling. Then they sent it with temp plates that my state does not recognize and almost got me arrested for driving unregistered. In addition, they sent out the paperwork, which was lost. I had a new unregistered vehicle for 25 days before they figured out they could get me a duplicate title. Very bad experience. Don't trust Dennis Wilkins.

First, the sales experience was odd. We had an internet price printed out, from their webpage, and comparable vehicles at other dealers printed out as well. We also had auto-trader.com trade in pricing guarantee, and our own financing. In a nutshell, the sales manager refused to honor his internet price unless I took their GMAC financing. Please note that the internet price did not reference any rebates or limitations....it was simply the internet deal of the week. Secondly, we've had the vehicle for about 2 1/2 months, and notice that a tire is leaking. We take it to a tire place, and are told that there is a PLUG in the tire already, and it is leaking from the plug location. Additionally, the plug is too close to the side wall to patch, therefore, at less than 3K miles on the truck, we have to purchase a new tire??? We contact Palmer, the sales department takes a message, says they will call back....nothing. I email the general manager, Jody Cruce, and request a call back....nothing. I call and get service this time, who agrees to take a look at the tire and try to patch it. They put in another plug - and I'm pretty sure that they didn't even do a pressure test to see if it was holding air, because it needed air by the time I got home. Their "offer" was to split the cost of the new tire with me, as they claim they don't have a record of installing the plug. We have owned 3 other Dodge trucks in the past 15 years, not to mention all the Dodge vehicles owned by my family in general, and we certainly want to make sure no one goes to this dealer with any expectation of service.
