I came in with no clue on how to go about trading my current car and I was able to receive the most professional customer service possible. Sami, is the best person possible in assisting people and helping them out to find the best car with a budget. The time and care I was able to receive from Sami made the hassle of getting a new car smooth and easy. Sami really had my best interest at heart, his mechanics and sales team are so pleasant and informative. Trust me, Panda Motors is the place to buy a vehicle. Panda Motors complaint.docx 1 / 1 This review is for Panda Motors located at 9506 Braun Rd, San Antonio, TX 78254. On June 26th I went to the dealership with my daughter to look at a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze listed for $5500 with 137K miles on it. Kelly was the lady who dealt with us. We took the car and drove it around in a nearby neighborhood and it seemed ok. I decided to have Lemon Busters to look at it as the car had no warranty on it. Lemon Busters determined the car need to have the front brakes replaced and that the radiator hoses were leaking fluid on the ground. I contacted the dealership to tell them the issues. At first Kelly argued with me that there were no leaks and her mechanic had check the car previously. I told her I did not feel comfortable unless those issues were fixed. The key was also broken and would not unlock all of the car doors or the trunk. She agreed to fix that as well. She called back on June 30 stating the key, and brakes were fixed (not the pads as the mechanic said they did not need to be replaced) and hoses replaced. I agreed to come back in and have another look before purchase. So I contacted Lemon Busters to re-evaluate the car. On July 1st I went to the dealership and spoke with Kelly. The car started up fine, no lights or anything and I asked if we could take it out on the road. We went out on the highway and I took the car to 85mph and it ran hot, smoke was coming up in the cabin of the car, and the check engine light came on. I took the car back and Kelly indicated that was “weird” as that had not happened before. As soon as she started the car back, smoke filled the cabin. At this point her mechanic took it into their repair area. When the hood was opened there was some type of liquid all over everything under the hood as if something had exploded. Kelly then said the oil cap was missing and proceeded to tell me some couple had taken it out the night before and they were upset with the dealership for a car they tried to trade. She indicated the couple must have done this! I don’t write reviews but this needed to be said. #1-They lied like they fixed the car and obviously didn’t, #2-the car will not make it on any highway as it runs hot at a high rate of speed, #3Kelly had several conversations with me and knew I was planning to buy this as my 21 year old daughter’s first car #5-She blamed another customer which is absolutely outrageous. I would never do business with this company and they are obviously not truthful. They don’t want you to take it anywhere as they have “on site mechanics” and won’t negotiate the price. Had I not had someone to look at it prior, I would have went away with a car I could even make it home in. I am totally disappointed! Thank GOD he had his hands in this situation and showed Panda Motors up before we handed over all of my daughters money that she saved up on her own. Buyers please BEWARE!!!!!
