I had the fortunate opportunity to deal with Parks Chevrolet after MANY headaches at other dealerships. My boyfriend and I were in the market for a truck. We had very little preference on brand, but needed a 4 wheel drive, double cab and needed to be within a certain monthly payment bracket. I was initially greeted by Harris Dixon whom I communicated our needs to. I had such a troubling experience by picking out a truck of our choice and haggling with numbers at other dealerships, so I left the decision to Harris and his team. He picked out a beautiful loaded 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Not only did Harris provide EXCEPTIONAL before, during and after the sale, but the entire team at Parks was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with, plus they got us into a vehicle with more equipment and a cheaper payment than surrounding dealers! I truly felt valued. I am so completely in love with our new truck and so very happy with Parks! I will be recommending this dealership to others in the future!!

I drove over an hour to this dealership because of an advertised price on a particular car. I test drove that exact car and was ready to buy it for the price advertised. They then proceeded to add on one thing after another until the price was over 2000 dollars more than advertised!!!! Don't believe the hype! They are just like every other car dealership: misleading and deceitful!

Our salesman is a nice guy and is trying, but is still learning the ropes. For the rest, I'll go with "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". What I have to say doesn't matter to them and wouldn't make a difference so what's the use.

I had a good experience buying a used 2010 Ford Fusion at Parks Chevrolet in Kernersville, NC. Derek Smith helped me to find cars within my budget. I found Derek to be patient and friendly, did not feel pushed or pressured to purchase anything. I had questions about the car and Derek got one of the mechanics to look at the car with me and go for a drive. The mechanic, Dave, came across friendly and honest. Only suggestion I would have for this dealership is to try to better clean and detail the used cars. I had to clean the interior plastic and took off a lot of dirt. The car I bought has a small wing on the back and under the wing there is a lot of dirt. Clearly the outside of the car has been, and was by the dealership, simply driven through a car wash. A little more detail when detailing would be value added to customers. All in all I felt I received a fair deal and happy with my purchase.

He went over all the navigation and radio instructions and even keyed in my home address for me so I could find my way back to Alabama. We went to see a 04 Yukon and it takes us 45 min. to get there and found out that it was in the service dept and we got no explanation as to why it was in there and also a 04 Tahoe was in the service dept too, so we did not get to see anything at all. They said they would call us back when the Yukon was available and I never got a call back. They should not advertise a vehicle if it is not ready to be sold.

Ralph (Gator) and others gave us a great deal. It was not our original intent to buy that evening; we only intended to shop. But the deal he arranged for us on our trade and our used vehicle was so fantastic we felt we would be foolish to pass it up. Two hours after their normal closing we drove off more than satisfied in our in our "new to us" Jeep. One minor thing: it appeared that if the vehicle was detailed, the inside for certain other than the floor didn't show it. Nobody's perfect. Kudos to the sales team-especially Gator. On short notice, Mike Swafford and the Service Tech was able to perform a State Inspection, and a maintenance item and have us on our way in about 45 minutes on a Saturday. The willingness to address a customer service request and perform it on short notice is just one more instance of a very positive approach by Parks Chevrolet and the Service Department to build and maintain a positive customer relationship. Overall impressed with dealership but disappointed in salesperson, Donna. Donna did not follow through on getting us the second fob for our purchased vehicle. We had to follow up several times and eventually had to speak to a manager, Rick Lewis. Rick did a great job in addressing our concern with the key fob being available to us the very next day. Although we would recommend this dealership, we cannot recommend this salesperson. Realizing the required documents take a while to be processed, it would be nice if the customer was advised as to the expected wait time. We were told over and over that it "will be just a few minutes" when it actually turned out to be 3 hours. We were probably the last customer of the day, so we realize there were several people ahead of us. However, if we could have been told realistically about the wait time, we could have gone out to dinner instead of sitting at the dealership for 3 years with a young child. Definitely recommend Rick Lewis.

After we searched and searched for a truck via Internet, one phone call to Mr. Harris at Parks Chevrolet lead us to the best truck buying experience ever. He gave us an awesome deal on a great truck. We are from Fayetteville so needless to say we passed numerous dealerships, to get to Parks. After speaking with Mr. Harris we didn't want to deal with any other dealerships. When we got there the truck was sitting out waiting for us to test drive. There was no hurry on his part, we laughed and felt comfortable during the paperwork process. Bought a car from Parks in March 2012, I was told that if I bought the car I didn't want, I could come back in about a year and get the car I wanted!! When I returned to get a better car the sales person that sold me that car had been fired for lying to customers!! I've been back 4 times trying to get a car like I wanted to start with but the sales personnel, even the sales mangers will not help out, even though they know that the person that sold me the car lied to me about many things, but they will not stand behind what he told me, even though there was another salesman setting there listen to ever word that I was told!!In closing Gary told me that I could get a newer car for less money, but when I went back , each time the sales personnel wanted to shift me to a cheeper car and I was told that I would need to pay higher payments insted of lower payments like I was told!! I feel that if you have a person working for you that lies to a coustomer, the dealer should do what he said!! I'M TELLING YOU DON'T GO THERE!!!

Recently, I bought a 2005 camry used car from this dealer. But the car failed state inspection as required in Virginia within one month of purchase. The auto shop who performed the state inspection told me they have to replace a broken steering rack that costed me 960 dollars. I double checked the problem in another competing auto repair shop. Since the car comes with no warranty, I have to put the money from my pocket. I trusted these guys that they will sell a car in excellent mechanical condition and that's why i did not get an extended warranty for this used car. Do not ever purchase a car from this dealer without an extended warranty. Overall, do not treat this guy as a dealer but as an untrustable private party. If you want to purchase a used car from this guy, please always take a mechanic with you each time to examine the car carefully. This dealer is completely untrustable to purchase a used car and will try to sell the car at dealer price but as it is without fixing the problems.

Never again will I go there they wanted to low ball me on my truck and then over charge me for a truck I was looking at, I am an Automotive Service Technician ASE certified, and my friend went with me to look at it and he was an Army automotive technician for 4 years and we both found a couple things wrong with the truck I was looking at and they didn't even lower the price even though the truck wasn't even worth what they were wanting for it, it would've needed $1,100 worth of repair done to it. but I will NOT be going back to them. so if you want to get robbed of your money this is your place to go. sorry Parks Chevy but not sorry.

We entered your beautiful show room and was greeted by a friendly sales staff. Our goal was to get information on the Equinox SUV. We explained the features we wanted to Ralph "Gator" Lusk and he proceeded to tell us what was available. He was very congenial and patient with two old people. After test driving both the four and six cylinder models we decided on the four, and Gator began his search. We picked the LTZ model since it had the options we were looking for plus many more we did not know we wanted. We are very pleased with our purchase and expect to enjoy it for many years. Thanks again to all at Parks Chevrolet, and especially Gator, for a pleasant experience.

This is my second time dealing with Parks Chevrolet in less than 6 months and I could not be happier. They understand your needs and do everything they can to assit you with locating the right vehicle and financing. They truly value you as a customer and make you feel welcome every time you visit. They take time with you and review options. At no time is do you ever feel pressured. They recognize you when you arrive and strive to meet your needs and insure you are happy. I would not even think of going to any other dealerhip. Normally I dread car dealerships but this location is a real gem. Had to get my car looked at by a mechanic outside the dealership even though i have a 5 year warranty because Parks Chevy refused to help me/fix my car. Had to wait 3 hours for them to just "check out" my car. They didn't even check the tire pressures. I had to refill my tires two weeks after my visit. Finally after an outside mechanic found the problem that i asked them to fix 4 times, they scheduled an appointment. Extremely lazy mechanics. If they don't want bad reviews, they should treat their customers with more respect.

Last March,29,2012, I went to Parks Chevy to get a car I had seen on line, it was the car I realy wanted, but when I ask about that car, I was told it would be hard to get that car, because it was at a dealer in Raleigh! So the Sales person Ryan Greenough pulled another car up front, a 2006 Trail Blazer, I drove the car, when I brought it back, they were ready to put the push on or should I say GARY the closer was ready to put the push on! Ryan was a new sales person , so he let Gary take over, Gar was the closer! Gary began to weave a trail of lies that you wouldn't beleive! I had, had credit problems, so I listened to Gary lies and beleived him that I could come back in a few months and get the car I wanted for lower payments! After Gary had talked for about 30 mins spinning his lies, I told him and Ryan that I had to go but I would come back later that evening and get the car! Gary now insisted that I sign the papers right quick, now it was like a switch to sharks in the water, close the deal, close the deal!! I traded A 1999 van in, but they gave me nothing for it and sold me their car for more than market value!! Now I've had the trail blazer for 8 months, i've only put less than 2000 miles on it, But now that I've gone back to trade, they still don't want to do what gary had told me, they say my car is about 4.000 dollars less that I owe on it, now * months later they say it went down in value over the last 8 months!! I've been back 4 times trying to get the car I realy wanted when I went there last March, but I hear each time that they need cash and the payment will be much higher!! The management doesn't want to do at all what their employee GARY told me in March!! All I want is to be treated like Hubert Parks treated my Dad in the 50s, when My Dad bought a new truck from Hubert Parks, I've went to Parks for years and I've sent many people over the years to buy cars from them, but that bond has been brocken forever and I want people to know how they do now, it's all about the bottom line, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, we don't care about you or what you were told!! The 3 sales personnel I wrote about at the top are great to work with they are Josh Cassell, Ryan Greenough and Greg Smith, they do their job, but the management won't!! I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE AND YOU SHOULD THINK VERY< VERY, LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME THERE!! PARKS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO, GO TO MORDEN OR OTHER CHEVY DEALERS AND GET TREATED RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Went back to parks after buying from them for over 40 years and sending them several many costomers over the years, but I will never buy another car or truck from them. I went back last march to get a newer car from them, but the car that was shown on their web site happen to be at another dealership so they didn't have the car and acted like they didn't want to get it for me! after talking with them, they brought a car up from the lot wasn't what I wanted, but the sales person and a lieing closer they had there insisted that if I bought this car to help my credit, then I could come back in about 6 to 8 months and get a newer better car for less! When I went back to trade the car I didn't want to start with, the mangement acts like I'm a coustomer that had just come in for the first time, NOT A CUSTOMER THAT HAD BEEN COMING TO THEM FOR YEARS, The person that lied when I went to buy the car in March 2012 HAD BEEN FIRED, BECAUSE THEY KNEW HE LIED TO COUSTOMERS, I have been back 5 times to try to trade for another car from them, but each time I go back, it the same story, YOU OWE TO MUCH ON THIS CAR, but it's a funny thing that when they sold me this car they made out like it was worth a lot more that it was worth! When I first went in I traded a car that was paid off, In other words I gave them my car and bought their car for more than it was worth, they even finaced the car for more than it was worth, now I'm in the red on the pay off, but they want go back even close to what I gave for the car and all I done is put about 2000 miles on it! Like I said before I've been back 5 times to trade with them again, but I get the song and dance YOU OWE TO MUCH ON YOUR CAR, but they were the ones that caused me to be oweing more than the car is worth and they want several thousand cash to deal again with me!! They don't want to work with me at all! SO I WOULD TELL ANYONE NOT TO GO TO PARCKS TO GET A CAR, THEY EMPLOYED A LIER AND THEY KNOW THEY DID, BUT THEY WANT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD!!!!

The folks at Parks were very courteous and professional. We went on a Saturday evening and they were swamped. They actually stayed open late to accommodate us for a test drive. When we went back the following Monday (we live out of town) they stayed open late again making sure we understood all the details of the deal. They literally locked the doors as we were pulling off in our new vehicle.

I purchased my 2013 Equinox from Parks in December and Josh Cassell was my salesman. He was such a great saleman for the simple fact that he was not pushy. I actually hate going to a car lot and the vultures come after you. He was just simply there for what I needed. He knew all the facts about the vehicle and was so very helpful. I was extremely impressed with Park Chevrolet! From the time I walked in the door to leaving with my new car I was treated with respect and made to feel like I was really important to them. I had a recent horrible experience with a different Chevy dealership and ended up walking out because of the way I was treated. Paul Setliff couldnt have been nicer or more knowledgeable about the car buying experience or about the Equinox. I will definitely look to go back to Parks when I am need of another car.

Because of the advertisement I saw on tv, I went to Parks Chevrolet to see if I could trade in my 2008 Impala for a good vehicle & have my monthly car payment reduced. While shopping for a new car their price was much higher than any other dealership. Bought a new car from a dealership in Winston-Salem. That was fine as we are free to shop around for the best price. My bigger complaint is... When I needed service I took it to Parks for repairs. The car had an alert in the message center so I stopped and informed them that it was on but had went away just before I arrived. Picked up my 2012 the next day and was informed that even though they were sure it would fail again they didn't replaced the part it needed because it had cleared before I arrived. They seemed more interested in filing a repair claim to GM then fixing the car. Why not tell me that the car would not be repaired before I rearranged my schedule to be without the car all day? As mush as I like keeping my town employed I don't foresee Parks getting a fourth chance.

If I go back to Parks Chevy to purchase another vehicle, I would ask for Harris Dixon. Mr. Dixon was very knowledgeable about the car and made me feel excited about my purchase. I asked him if my car could be delivered to me and he personally delivered the car. That to me is truly customer service.

rket for a new car,we have been to a couple different dealers,but know one would give a look because we didn`t have good credit,we was driving by Parks chevy and decided to stop in and look at the cruise,after talking to one of the nicest salesman we had ever talked to,he let us know that the cruise did not have a rebatembut the malibu did and it would help us get into a new car with our credit issues,his name was Leon Prince.after talking with him,they realized that another salesman had sent us some literature about new cars and so he finished up with us and he did a outstanding job,his name was Ryan Greenough.after going over everything he set us up with the finance manager and he went to bat for us with the banks,he worked on them till he got us in a new 2012 Malibu and got us out of our BMW.He also did a remarkable job,,his name was Todd. we had a wonderful time at Parks Chevy and would recomend all our family and friends to go there for next car purchace. I came into Parks to review a used Grand Cherokee. I was met immediately by Mr. Harris Dixon. Mr. Dixon was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. My one complaint is that I feel very cheated with the allowance given me for my trade. I definately feel my trade was/is worth far more that what I got for it.

I purchased a preowned Mercedes at Parks Chevy last week. I am rating this as below avg for the following reason. I made an offer and put down a 2500 deposit prior to my visit. When we arrived the sales person did not take the time to show me the details of the car" inside the trunk, hood, interior", anyone can say "this is a nice car" blah. A 10 min research by the sales person to know the basic of the car would have been appreciate it. Next, the Mercedes takes 15 gallons of gas for a full tank and to my surprise the dealer only gave me barely 10 gallons of gas! I asked the sales person where is the other 4-5 gallon? His reply was they don't fill full tank EVEN when the customer purchase a brand new car like a Chevy silverado for example. That is BS in the back of my mind!! Lastly I had to check to be sure I had everything since I'm 4.5 hrs from dealership. The salesperson forgot my second key! Luckily before I left the dealership, I have a checklist of the things I would need. The car I purchased was a limited production Mercedes c63 AMG and if I was looking for something Chevy like a corvette in the future, I think I'll go elsewhere and drive home with 100% full tank peace of mind! The sales prof was very kind and professional. Overall a good experience so far. Only complaint was the process took a few hours and the tire pressure monitoring system light in the vehicle has come on and stayed on. Having DVD installed soon, so will have it looked at then.

We went to Parks looking for a used vehicle. Gator was our salesman. We told him what we were looking for and he got busy looking for our needs. We drove a traverse and liked the vehicle and how Gator treated us as customers. We told him we would think about it over weekend and let him know on Monday. We checked a couple of other car lots but liked Parks prices better. We left the lot with a 2012 traverse and we love it.

Parks Chevrolet is an below average dealership. They did the typical things a car dealer does when it comes to selling you a car. However, I found out after my purchase of a 'certified pre-owned' 2011 Chevy Cruze that it had been in an accident or at least had severe damage. There was broken glass under the rear head rests which indicates to me, at the very least, that one or more windows was smashed at some point. However, this was not conveyed to me-yes, they may not have been aware of this, but aren't they supposed to go over the car thoroughly when they get it in? Also, the Air Conditioning compressor was going bad and they also "missed this" before I bought it. I had expressed my concern over the "sound" I was hearing, but they ignored it and said everything "checked out". Performance Chevrolet in Chapel Hill, NC, however, did figure out what was wrong and fixed it (after I bought it and it was under warranty). It appears that Parks Chevrolet did not want to pay for it to get fixed since it was not under warranty at the time. Also, the oil obviously had not been maintainted as I had to take it in just a couple of days after I bought it to get the oil changed. The service department guy told my wife, "Oh, they probably just forgot to reset the computer setting, but when they checked their records they confirmed the oil had not been changed." At one point, I had bought a 2010 Honda Civic which I later exchanged, and there was a loud rumbling noise coming from the rear right tire and they said they would replace the "tires". Well they replacde all the but the one in question which was all torn up. So I went to a dealer in Durham who promptly replaced the tire at my expense. I tried to get Parks to reimburse me for it since they obviously missed it and they said no. I explained that I didn't want to drive 80 miles on the way home on a bad tire and they just ignored my complaint and held their ground. The drive wasn't too bad on the way to Durham which is why I thought maybe there wasn't a serious problem and didn't get it done before then. After doing some research I discovered that the problem is well known on 2006-2010 Honda Civics and is caused by a defective rear upper control arm. Would I buy another car from Parks Chevrolet? I don't think so.

I went to this dealership to look at a vehicle. I got the price we went through the process and I got the bill of sale to take to the bank. I then found out that the Internet price was different...it was lower. I went back to the dealership and mr Dickson refused to give me one. After he found out I had gone shopping around (b/c I am a consumer) he refused it and actually said to me "I don't even know why you came back I thought you came to buy the car" I came back b/c I wanted the bill of sale to give to my bank. I told him i wanted to know what my payments would be he said to subtract it myself and add it up. This was the worst experience i have ever had. So I left feeling offended and completely disrespected. They had the nerve to send the bill of sale to my bank with a thousand dollars less for my trade in but with the sake price which was basically the same price. They did noon even have the decency to tell me they just sent it to the bank thinking I would not notice. It was so obvious they were Mrs concerned about a profit margin than the customer that it made me sick. I was and am very disappointed.

We recently purchased our second car from Parks Chevrolet. Our first purchase was a 2007 Suburban and then recently we bought at 2012 Cruze. Rainer Davis was our sales associate both times. Rainer is an excellent sales person. He is professional and personable. It is a breath of fresh air to work with a dealer who maintains their salesman. Rainer took time to understand our families needs and is very knowlegable on all of the cars the dealer sales. The service staff is also excellent as well as the management and finance staff. We enjoyed purchasing our vehicle from Parks and will definitely return to them the next time the need arises.
