Drove an hour to purchase a car that I had worked with Tyler on. Listed for $25300. He said there was not much room to give on price but that there may be a hundred or two they could take off. During test drive he mentioned a different price than what we had talked about the past few days. New price was $26,900. Went though rounds of those horrible interactions you dread that are associated with dealerships. I walked over to the manager and asked him why they wouldn’t advertised price. He said used were like the stock market and go up and down daily. Driving away from the dealer without buying the car. Saw car still on google for the $25k price. Not a place I would do business.

I had a previous bad sales experience at this dealership - but this time I had a bad recall experience. I received a recall notice for my Honda and it's airbags. I understand recalls happen - and from the notice it seems Honda tries to make the recall process easy. In reality this dealership doesn't make the effort. They mention in the letter a free loaner vehicle will be available to you. When I scheduled my service I asked about this - they said they wouldn't commit to having one. Without being able to commit - I couldn't make plans around it. I asked the day I went into for my service appointment - and they still didn't have a loaner. It was a mid week appointment - and I was the first customer of the day. It seem like the plan is to never have loaner vehicles. My guess is that the focus is not on retention of customers or good service - but selling new vehicles. It seems short sighted, being as I am in the market for a new vehicle - I know what the service will be like if I get a Honda from performance Honda. I am probably going to look elsewhere.

We had such a great experience while buying our new Honda today! Tyler, our salesman, was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, patient, and didn't pressure us. He knew the answers to our questions and was very helpful. The same could be said about Justin in the finance department. Both were so nice and easy to work with. After multiple emails with Jeremy throughout the week to figure out what Civic I wanted, I went in on Saturday and they had a Green Civic LX-P Coupe. I ended up working with Landon and Cody for the test drive and making the numbers work. Everyone was very easy to work with and those that they introduced me to in service were friendly. "Jake with Honda" in finance helped get all the paperwork done and apologized for any delays as he was the only one there early Saturday. By far the best car buying/leasing experience I have had and I will definitely recommend Jeremy and Landon to anyone looking for a new car.

Update - not surprisingly, I was able to obtain the headrests (nearly a month after the purchase) after posting this review. I've upgraded the rating to average as the issue was ultimately resolved, but the hassle of this was completely unnecessary.I purchased an Odyssey from Jeremy Batt at Performance Honda from out of state and did not realize until I got home that it was missing the 3rd row headrests (the magic seats were folded in and the rest of the van looked great so I had no reason to suspect headrests might be missing). This was a certified pre-owned van that was owned by the dealership previously (used as a shuttle per Jeremy) so unless a customer stole the headrests they are at the dealership somewhere. But, in response to my inquiry to have them sent to me, I get a "sorry, if it didn't have head rests in it , it doesn't come with it" in response. Nowhere was it listed that the van did not have headrests. This was on top of the van missing the all-weather mats that were pictured in the ad for the van (again, nothing noting that they wouldn't be included). I let that go at the time but apparently I should have been more suspicious of the way Performance Honda does business.

I really appreciated how clean the service center was. I've always loved the customer service here. I was shown a couple of waiting rooms and where the refreshments were. I chose the quiet room, grabbed me a Coke and gave myself permission to enjoy a magazine. Almost reminded me of a day at the spa. :) As always, my car was serviced well (even washed).

Best experience I have had at a dealership. Much improved over before. Impressed with the new service area. They are having some good promotions as well. Comfortable waiting area. Came by with Costco sandwiches while I was there. Car was washed and dried. I didn't have the soft drinks and popcorn, but some people will like that. Didn't use the wifi this time, but it is available as well as TV, newspaper.

I have got call from one of the sales manager Cody Smith as he got notification from true car that I am looking for a new Honda CRV car. He committed me for a Out The Door price over phone with free life time warranty and asked me to come to dealership to do the deal. When I reached with my friend, Cody (Sales Manager of performance honda) started taking "U" turns and unsaying whatever he committed on phone and wasted one hour. I was not agreed for the price and said I will let you know on Monday. On Monday he asked me to come to dealership again and committed for a price over phone but when I went and wasted whole of my wedding day and that person did forced me to wait for many hours and once again started deceiving me and unsaid all commitment. He was so rude, unprofessional, fraud person. Please beware of that dealership.

Took my car in for a check engine light. They advised me there would be a diagnostic charge but it would be waived if the repair was completed there. They called and told me what was wrong and how much the repair would cost. They completed the repair at the quoted cost with no surprises. Staff were friendly and helpful and concerned I was satisfied with the service This is the third service I have had at Performance Honda this year on my 2006 Accord with 142,000 miles on it. Most of which have been scheduled maintenance. While they are not always the least expensive, I am pleased with results and happy to get Honda parts for my car. I appreciate the value I receive for money.

We have bought two 2016 Civics in one month in April & May. Hence my second review. I visited another dealer before this coming to Performance Honda Bountiful. By far the best price I received was here. Tyler Warner helped us with our purchased the first time & second time. We also worked with Landon Huntsman for the 2nd purchase. They are both excellent to work with. After we came to an agreement on price on our new car, we were shown how everything works.As far as financing went, that was a smooth transaction as well. We weren't pushed to buy what we didn't want. Again Tyler and this dealership went above and beyond to make us happy.One little hiccup this time was that top strip on the windshield was supposed to be tinted, but due to miscommunication it wasn't. No worries though as they are actively working to get me in and finish the job. Again I could not be happier

I had a courtesy phone call, during which I scheduled my oil change and tire rotation, with a complete fluid and systems check. The car was taken in immediately, and I was told I could expect the serice to be completed in a half hour. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. After reporting a concern with acceleration concerns, I was given a service tech for a demonstration ride. We tried to replicate the concern, but the car would not demonstrate the same hesitation. I was told to monitor condition, and advise dealership if the problem continued. Overall, I am extremely impressed and pleased with Performance Honda. I will return when more service is needed.

Purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V yesterday and had a great experience. Dalton was our sales associate and he was absolutely great! He answered every question we had and was very patient and attentive. The employees we encountered at the dealership were great as well. From the service department to the financial department. Complimentary beverages and snacks were available, the facility was beautiful and clean and we left with smiles on our faces-without the usual stress and frustration that comes from buying a car. We did have some tension with the associate who was working with us on our trade in but didn't let that deter us from trading in our vehicle and purchasing our new one. Would buy a car from this dealer again in the future.

We stopped by Performance Honda in Bountiful a few weekends ago, I'm so glad we did, We were greeted right away by Carlos Mercader, he was great to work with very attentive and knowledgeable about the cars that we were looking at. The prices were so reasonable we ended up getting 2 cars. We leased the new 2016 Honda Civic. We also bought a 2010 Honda Accord. We love them!! Leo Blanco and Carlos Mercader were very helpful when we were trying to pick out the perfect cars for us. Leo and Carlos have great customer service skills and we felt like they were more a friend than a salesman. We highly recommend seeing Carlos and Leo at Performance Honda Bountiful.

Performance called and said that someone wanted to buy my car for more money than it was worth and that they would like to get me in a new car. So, I went to the dealership. Macqualla put us in the same model, but in the current year for the same lease terms that we had previously had. So we drove home with a new car without any extra expense to us.

Needed a recall repair, Tyler did a great job setting it up and answering all questions I had. Arrived and was surprised at how clean the repair area is, looks really 1st class. When I picked up the car, Tyler went ahead and performed an older recall repair also, I am very thankful for that! Brought my 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid in for its first Service. The Maintenance Minder indicated that the oil life was at 30%. Scheduled the appointment on line, using the Scheduling tool, very easy to use. Drove right in to the Service Bay, I was greeted promptly by your Service writer and told my car would be ready in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, I was shown to my freshly washed vehicle and was on my way home. A quick, pleasant FREE, service appointment. I'll definitely be coming back to Performance Honda for all my future service needs. The Maintenance side of the purchase has been as easy as the Sales side. Thanks for a great experience.

I was promptly received and the repair order written up. It was recommended that I get the timing chain replaced so I decided to put some money in the car and keep driving it another few years. I asked about other service but was told these weren't needed as yet which I appreciated. A ride home was promptly arranged. I walked a bit around the newly remodeled building. It's all very nice. Service advisors are always fully informed and give good recommendations so I feel comfortable coming in. I don't feel I'm being over-sold. Trust is very important and it what keep me coming in.

I've own a Honda before and purchased it in California, where I didn't receive that great of service and didn't get much knowledge on my vehicle or lease. A year later looking just to talk about questions I had about my lease, Sergio found me and gave me more information about a car I have been driving for a year! So when I wanted to trade in my car for the newer model I already felt comfortable with Sergio. He gave me the best feed back, and checked in on me to let me know new deals and offers that were specific to what was best for me. Very quickly he got me in a new vehicle and made me feel right at home. Sure wish Performance Honda would work as hard at keeping a customer as they do selling a car. I have been waiting for my plates and I kept thinking I would get a call or a text or a postcard. (Jeremy had no problem texting and calling when he wanted to sell a car) Nothing, no communication! Even when I called, it rang and rang until I went through two computer messages. Finally another 10 rings and a live voice. Of course my license plates are sitting there. Not a big deal right? Well coupled with the fact that I made a special trip to Bountiful (40 miles round trip and when leasing the allotted mileage breaksdown is 33.3 miles per day) to drop off a second key for the trade in to my salesman Jeremy. It would have been nice for you to come out of your office or acknowledge the effort of a customer or at least let me know that the key made it to the correct individual. Here is the deal, I was asked to fill out the dealerrater and the Honda survey. I was asked three times by Jeremy and twice by my finance guy. I was generous with my praise and my ratings. But if you want fives, if you want people to use your service department, if you want repeat customers than work on something besides the hard sale.

We went into Performance Honda wanting to test drive a Honda Pilot and then a few other competitor SUVs. Dalton was the salesman that we ended up working with and he made the process painless and easy. He even had one of the other competitor dealers bring their vehicle to us so we could evaluate them side by side. After test driving 3 different SUVs and working with Dalton we decided to go with the Pilot. The sales team and the service we received were top notch! I brought a non Honda vehicle in for service since their prices beat everyone else for oil changes. They quoted me and included a tire rotation in the quote. When all was said and done they kept the price of what they quoted me but had to do a synthetic oil, which costs more. They were honest and friendly and exceptional service. I'll be back!

I brought my Odyssey in for a recall and it had to do with the gear shifter. Sergio was very personable, friendly and helpful. When we got home, we weren't able to remove the key from the ignition. I called Sergio back and he apologized and had me bring it back in the next morning. They fixed the problem in about 45 minutes and washed my Odyssey for me. Sergio made sure we were taken care of and I appreciated that. Thanks Sergio.

I went to Willey Honda to purchase my Pilot because I trusted both Honda vehicles and the Willey Honda dealership. Then there were glitches when Performance Honda purchased them. Records were lost, but Performance Honda stepped up and performed service based on my word without the documents. Then, they covered a BIG repair even though it may not have been on my previous agreement. And they did a great job and really took care of me. I will continue to go out of my way to get service there instead of going to a closer location. They earned my loyalty.

I knew my review on their site would be pulled down as they only post positive reviews. They treated my wife horribly. Go elsewhere. We called ahead to schedule an oil change and to arrange a shuttle as my wife had an important meeting to be at. When she arrived they told her the service would be done in less than 30 minutes and that she wouldn't need the shuttle. After 30 minutes she asked the status of the service and they couldn't find the ticket. Then they couldn't find the car! Then they said it was being washed (it was never washed). Then they tried to tell her she asked for synthetic at $62.00 which was not true. She held her ground that they finally admitted they had no proof that she asked for anything other than a standard oil change. She missed her appointment. No sorry, no consideration, no nothing from this place. My wife felt that they were trying to take advantage of her assumed lack of mechanical expertise. They were wrong. Too bad. I expected better from a Honda dealer.

I purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot AWD EX-L From PERFORMANCE HONDA of BOUNTIFUL UTAH. I originally contacted David Marley, my sales representative over the phone. I inquired about their inventory. I live in Nevada so I can't just run over to look around. That's an important issue because information is the key to getting what you really want. Immediately after the first time we spoke I knew he was my guy. I made numerous inquiries about options, availability, you name it. He contacted me back immediately, even when he was busy he let me know he would call me right back,...and he always did. He was so patient, knowledgeable, and courteous. I didn't feel like I was wasting his time. I had a specific model, trim, and accessories in mind. He found exactly what I was looking for and had it brought over from another location. Then, he sent me photos to see if I was happy with that. I asked for a detailed price, no problem, right away he sent it to me with the accessories that were currently installed on the vehicle. He was fair, honest, and forth coming with whatever I needed, something I absolutely must have or I'll go else where. David Marley picked my wife and I up at the airport and drove us to the dealership. He showed us our new baby before we even looked at the paper work. Wow, what an incredible team to work with. They made us feel right at home. We were relaxed and just enjoyed the experience. Never any pressure, no problem that couldn't be solved. Purchasing a vehicle is not something I look forward to, but this experience was stress free. No pressure, no rushing us through the process, just making sure that we were happy with the purchase. After we drove back to Nevada, David contacted me again to make sure that everything was good and we were happy. He told me if I had any questions or problems to call him back. This Pilot is not my first new Honda. But the process of the transaction was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Now, I only have one complaint! It's too far for me to drive to have it serviced. I would really enjoy stopping by and visiting with the people that made my experience such a pleasure. Thank you David Marley, for all your time and hard work you did to give me exactly what I wanted at a fair price! I'll be back!!!

Even when we were in a hurry to get a new vehicle, the folks at Performance Honda gave us outstanding service and a competitive deal. Brady Scadden was a very friendly sales associate, and even after we purchased the vehicle, Corey Schneider spent several hours just to get us the car top rack we needed to bring the kids' Christmas presents back home. Jake, the finance guy, was cool, too.This was our first time buying from a dealership, but after such a positive experience, we would do it again. I was shopping for a new car to lease. I was told that to buy out of my current Honda lease that Honda would sell the car to Performance Honda and then I could buy it from them. This would cost me a $500 fee on top of my payoff amount. I was told it would be the same at any dealership and the fee would probably be more. This was a total fabrication!! All I had to do to buy out my lease was contact Honda finance directly and send them a check.

We bought a Honda Odyssey a few months ago. Jenn Wilson was the employee that helped us. I am sad to say that we walked away very unhappy! ;) just kidding! We are actually very glad that Jenn helped us. My husband and Jenn talked on the phone before we arrived. Jenn had a van pulled up and ready for us to look at. I felt that she really listened to what we were looking for before we even arrived. She did her best to work with us on the price point that we could afford. Eli also worked side by side with Jenn in making sure we got what fit us. It was nice to see two employees work well together. Neither one pressured us. Jenn said when we were getting the paper work together was "I'm not here to sell you are vehicle that you can't afford. That's not my job. My job is to make sure you are comfortable with your purchase." Right then I knew we could trust her. As long as Jenn is in the car business she will be the person that we go to. I appreciate the trust that she builds with her customers. We would recommend her to anyone that we know looking to get a vehicle. My husband and I went in to buy a car. After his signature was already on legal binding contracts one of the employees went into the storage closet and the door stayed propped open, he noticed AMERICAN FLAGS laying on the floor!!! We understand things happen and get bumped and knocked over, however, when it was brought to the Sales Manager Ryan Solts attention, he ignored it and went right back into his office and continued to do whatever he was doing. It wasn't until we saw our Salesperson, brought it to his attention and he picked up the flags from the floor!!! It took an extra minute to do!!! My husband served 10 years, and it wasn't until it was brought to someone's attention and he literally ignored it did we get really upset!!!Because of Ryan's blatant disrespect of our country's flag we will NEVER return!!

Candi is by far the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. I've been working with her for the last two weeks while we were waiting for the financing to go through. Candi was a great sales person. Super friendly & willing to go beyond. She has a very caring attitude & listens to what you say. I didn't feel pressured by her to just pick somethimg so she could receive the commission. I had a long list of requirements & equally long list of wishes. Candi did a great job finding me a couple of options to fit my wants, needs & budget. She first found me a Kia Soul that I was ecstatic about. Unfortunately, I couldn't get approved for the Soul but she found me a Subaru Outback that was equally great. I was willing to walk when I had some scuffles with the financing department but Candi was able to help calm me & found another great alternative. I felt that Candi was really there for me & not her own personal gain. She even gave me her personal cell when I first drove off with soul to make sure I had a fast way to contact her if I needed. She even came on her day off to help me find the Subaru. I would go back to Performance Honda just to have Candi as my salesperson again. Thanks Candi!!!

I cancelled the warranty of my 2012 Honda Accord on June 24. The refund has not been credited to my loan to date. I have made at least 8 phone calls to Jake and other finance managers as well as leaving voicemail for dealership manager. I have gotten the run around for 2 months. I liked working with Donnie and Devon AND have purchased several vehicles through them at another dealership, but I will never do business with this dealership again simply because the customer service in finance is LACKING TERRIBLY.

All the reviews said how great they were but my experience was not. The manager was arrogant. The sales person was new and really didn't know what he was doing. When I called I asked if that price was negotiable they said of course; I came in and the manager told me he has to say whatever he needs to say to get you in the door.....made me feel like the manager was pretty shady. I felt the process was very demeaning and pushy. Yes I bought the vehicle only because it was a good price and I really needed one; hindsight I should have left and went somewhere else. I was there for almost 5 hours while they processed my paperwork. It was miserable just waiting and waiting. Then when I drove home in horrendous rain the windshield wiper was so old it wouldn't even clear my windshield; talk about a safety issue. I called them and they said ugh I don't know when it was changed....really you can't even change the windshield wipers for a customer cost you $20 and would be such a big customer service move. And the vehicle was not even vacuumed correctly when I got home I had to clean it the next day. The only good thing was your finance person; he was great very cordially even though it was extremely late. All in all as we are looking for a vehicle for my husband we will not be going there.

We have been looking on and off for 2 years and finally we found a truck that fit eveything we wanted. We got a beautiful 07 Denali at a stellar price and a intrestrate we could not beat. Jake in finance and Weston in sales stayed late for us on the holiday and were just as nice as could be. We got a more than fair trade in on a 20 year old Tahoe and a 10 year old Impala. My husband and I have already talked about it the next time we go looking for a new truck we will definantly check these guys out first.

I bought a new Honda CR-V. The salesman, Dave Marley was outstanding. He was friendly and knowledgeable and had my interests as his top concern. He really listened to my needs and wantls and found me the perfect car. He took his time and never rushed with me and I felt like I was a long time customer. We had been to quite a few dealers before coming here and she by far knew the most not only about Hondas but other cars as well. She could answer all of our questions and I especially appreciated that she knew all the safety ratings and was able to tell us everything about that- something nobody else was able to do. After our experience with Liz and all the folks at Performance Honda, my wife said to give them 10 stars on our review. We greatly appreciated Liz's attentiveness and customer service focus. Liz even noticed our concerns over the lack of service we received on our Honda CRV from the previous dealership and she immediately sprung into action and Introduced the service advisor to us and in turn, they performed service on our CRV and even washed it at no cost. In the mean time, we bought a beautiful 2014 Mercedes-Benz from their used car lot with only 2,107 miles on it. It had a minor dent in one of the doors and they repaired the dent (at no additional cost) and the repair was done perfectly. Wanted to personally recognize Liz Carrick (sales), and the following professional and helpful people from the service department: Justin, Whitney and Trisha.

First let me say it's been 6 months since my purchase. There is a reason for this, I wanted to see if I was just another number or a true customer. I have to tell you that I am a customer and a customer for life. I walked in not looking forward to needing to buy a car (hopefully my last) and I ran into a salesman right away. Tall kid with a great smile. I told him of my concerns and rather than tell me what I needed he just listened. Unlike other experiences I've had. I kept thinking how does this kid make money he's too easy to work with! I am a Vietnam vet and have a hard time walking. This young man drove me around the entire lot pointing out options and going over all the things that were important to me. After deciding on a vehicle he worked out figures for me that stayed within my budget and as a retired vet a budget is everything. I've since loved my car. I have been contacted by Mr Donny McCurdy nearly every month ever since. He even called to check up on me after my heart surgery, not a single mention of a vehicle. He told me he no longer sells cars himself but would always be there for me. This man deserves recognition and a big thank you from me.

Not long ago I was flying combat missions in Afghanistan as a scout pilot. My wife and four boys came out to Utah to be near family during the deployment. I am now home and getting ready for our next assignment, this time in New York. My wife never asks for anything and has been a trooper through multiple deployments, so when she asked if she could get a minivan I was eager to see it happen. I was, however, worried about the car buying process because our previous experiences with car salesmen and dealerships left a pretty bad taste in our mouths. After visiting a few sales lots in the local area my worries seemed confirmed that we would be pushed around by condescending, money loving sales ogres that would do anything to get their fingers into our bank account. After days of frustration my wife asked me to taker her to Performance Honda in Bountiful and skeptically, I complied. Boy am I glad I did! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot of the well kept dealership I knew this experience would be different. Waiting for us by the front door were two sales associates with wide, genuine smiles ready to help us however they could. Jeremy, nicknamed "Chester" hurried over to us and asked what we would like to see. My wife had done her research and after being to other dealerships, we were not looking to waste any time. She told Chester which vans she wanted to see (having picked her favorites on the website) and he grabbed the keys to give us a thorough run down. While teaching us of the Odyssey's selling points my wife mentioned being tempted by the Toyota Sienna as well. Chester immediately responded, "no problem, hop in and let's go take a drive to a Toyota dealership so you can compare the two side by side." That is the type of willingness and attentiveness we saw from Chester the entire time. When it was all done we decided we preferred the Odyssey but wanted to think about it. Chester did not push us to make any hasty decisions and gave us his card and said he hoped to see us again. Sure enough, by the next day we were certain we wanted the van. It looked amazing, was brand new, and had clearly been well cared for in transit form the factory and on the lot. We could not see a single blemish on the vehicle. Now the only hurdle was making the purchase. Military life, and its inherent uncertainty, has led our family to opt out of going into debt for anything. In this case, including vehicle purchases. I know that dealerships profit more from leases, financing, and other financial purchasing services so I expected to meet plenty of resistance during the negotiating process. Not so. Chester and his supervisor were both very understanding of our position and although they offered great input and made sure we knew our options, they never seemed pushy. We wanted to stick to a tight budget and they met us at an incredibly generous price point. The entire process was transparent, amicable, and efficient. Jake, in finance was particularly helpful helping us finalize all of the paperwork. There is something to be said for associates having a good sense of humor and tact while helping sift through all the necessary paperwork. When it was all done Chester had our car waiting outside, freshly washed and detailed. Before sending us off he took our picture in front of our new van and helped us get our phones connected to bluetooth for hands free phone operation. We drove off the lot feeing excited about our new purchase, about how much our boys were going to love the van, and about starting the next chapter in our life adventure. I highly recommend this dealership. If you want honest, rapid, and professional service, this is the team for you.

I bought my Honda Pilot down the road. However the keys were messed up and we needed to take them to a Honda dealership. We were told to go to Performance Honda in Bountiful. The team helped us out, and in a timely manner. The key machine at first wasn't reading the key, the manager came out and let us know what was going on and that it may take a little longer than anticipated. He asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink, as well as if we needed the shuttle to go anywhere. All this for just buying 1 key. Great guys to work with, and treat every customer as if they are spending over $1,000.

After visiting several other Honda dealerships around town, I was very happy to meet Tom Poss at Performance Honda. Unlike the other salesmen I was dealing with (pushy to say the least!), Tom treated me with respect and didn't force me into anything. Other dealerships just kept pushing me on the time frame but Tom didn't make me feel pressured. He also went above and beyond answering all my questions and explaining other perks (free car washes!) for buying my car at Performance Honda Bountiful. I came in one day (after it was purchased) to get it washed after a road trip and Tom saw me and came out and helped me clean off all the bugs off my windshield. He's always been incredibly kind and helpful and it was a pleasure working with him. I will definitely go to him for any car needs in the future. My only complaint about this place is the service people don't ever know about my service plan that I purchased at the time of signing. It's worked out but I wish they had the info in their system so I wasn't always having to tell them I don't have to pay for the oil changes/tire rotations, etc.

I bought a "clean" 1 owner used Toyota Venza with 16k miles as represented by both the ad and the salesman at Performance Honda Bountiful. It was already dark when we arrived for the test drive, but being a "reputable" dealer I trusted them when they said it was straight up. Drove fine and interior was ok and it passed the quick walk-around in the dark, so we bought it.Next morning I notice the shine on the passenger side doors is more dull. After looking closer, I can see sanding marks under the paint, I check inside the door jam and sure enough, body filler putty. The car had been in an accident and repaired. I told the salesman I was disappointed in their hiding the repair. He said his manager told him nothing they were willing to do. My fault for not being more thorough in the check over. They pulled a quickie on me and I'm the dummy. Car was used and sold as is, so my fault.True enough, I should have been more careful. I fell victim to trusting a "reputable" dealer and taking them at their word. Live and learn I guess. They will try and deceive you on a used car sale just the same as any other bottom feeder car dealer so be careful.Can it be said they didn't know? If they couldn't tell it had work done then they are incompetent. Which may be worse than dishonest. In either case, they offered no apology, no sign at all of remorse (other than the salesman saying sorry he couldn't do anything in a text). Which leads me to believe it is common. So when looking at a used car from here be just as thorough and careful (more so?) than when buying private or from a non-franchise dealer.By the way, CarFax was clean, so it was a non-reported accident and repair. There was non of the usual "buyer beware" red flags.

I've come to Performance Honda Bountiful twice. Both times looking for a vehicle, the first time was more for my own education. The second visit was to officially decide on a car. I was approached by Tom Poss both times and his service was great. I hadn't seen him for months and it didn't take much for him to remember who I was. He was friendly just like the first time and he remembered the type of situation I was in! My other half and I had a vehicle in mind, however Tom's direction was to take us to Dustin (finance manager). Dustin made sure to figure out where we stand on finances, he did a great job in very little time. We were out of his office in no more than 10 minutes. He and Tom showed us a great car but didn't fit our preference too well. We told him what we preferred and he was very quick to find a car that fit our needs super fast! From there he moved onto finding financing, the amount of time it took for him to come back was amazing especially being very busy for a Tuesday, but it didn't bother us. When it came time to complete our paperwork, done in 20 minutes! Dustin even offered a special Aggie license plate, which I couldn't decline. The amount of time they took to respond to our needs was amazing and they made it fit our life style and our budget without having to pull our arm and leg. Seriously the whole experience was unbelievable, I was left saying "no way, really?" and "are you serious?" many times, only to be granted with an awesome offer, came home with a great car and the service is tremendous. I truly feel that Dustin and Tom cared about where our future was heading and they provided a get asset. I couldn't be happier.

Went in on a Tuesday evening shopping for a car, once we got there Tom Poss approached us. He was the one I worked with before and he was still as friendly as ever, and he remembered me! We told him what we had come in to look at. We intended on an SUV however were open to other options. He took us directly into Dustin who determined where we stand on finances and budget. He was quick getting information and we were done in less than 10 minutes. He showed us an amazing car, but it didn't suit us too well. Tom was super quick to show us some other options that fit our preferences and we were sold. He then sought out financing for the car of our choice and came back super quick again. All together the experience was great, we didn't expect to come home with a great car that day. They made it work and the experience was unbelievable. I can't wait to return, these guys are great! I had a great experience with the salesman (Allan Thompson) after coming in to check the famous annual Honda Certified Used Car sale for a possible purchase. We have owned 4 Honda's since 1979 and currently own 2, so we know well what we like and want in vehicles. Allan listened carefully to my questions and concerns and was able to show me the value in trading in our 2005 Accord EX-6cyl. for a brand new 2014 CRV-LX, with an extended warranty of 6 yr.-100k mile coverage ( rather than either a one two or three year old used car with no warranties left from Honda). This was greatly enhanced by our ability to get the 0.9% Honda Motor Corp. finance rate for 60 months versus even the best Credit Union loan rate we could get at 2.99%. Although we have had great service life out of all our Honda's, this extended warranty was very well priced and if you do the service work at Performance Honda they waive the $50 deductible that comes with all such warranties for every incident, and they were able to price it at least 10% better than other such warranties we have priced online or from the other 2 Honda dealers I had canvassed previously, plus it was able to be included under the 0.9% / 60 month Honda Motor Corp finance program contract making it even sweeter. We definitely recommend Performance Honda and will refer others to them. As to pricing, not much dickering room here, but I was able to negotiate 5% off MSRP and items like Document fees were 35% less than the other 2 Honda dealers I have researched in our area. My only concern was that the dealer adds on the extra window security package of $ 398 to all their cars but does not list it's costs upfront as a mandatory item and it was slid in with these extra finance items like doc fees, sales taxes, title and registration, etc.... that are normal for all car purchases no matter where or whatever vehicle you are purchasing. Still, once explained and allowed to be included in the financing by Cory Schneider, ( the Financing Director) I was mollified but, still feel all the Sales reps need to explain this up-front, and it should be listed on the options pricing worksheet and window sticker.

Bought a car on a Friday night. Less than 24 hours later, the following Saturday morning, the drive shaft broke. $400 later I was back on the road. I emailed Jeff, one of the sales managers, to ask them to pay for the repairs, and he said he was looking into it. This was over a month ago, and I have not heard anything back! I've tried to email him several times, with no response. If I ever buy a Honda again, it will not be from this dealership, nor will I ever buy anything from them. The worst customer service I've ever had, anywhere! You should look elsewhere before buying a car here.

We recently had our 2003 Honda Odyssey in for some recall repairs. While there, the service department said we needed to replace the power steering because of a leak and that the Lower Ball Joint of the front right tire had serious problems (even dangerous to drive). We took it to a repair company that we trust today for a second opinion and found out that there are NO PROBLEMS with the Lower Ball Joint at all. They did confirm that power steering was leaking and would need to be repaired. I am very ANGRY that they told us we needed to have a $500 repair that wasn't even needed!!!! PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK with someone reliable on any repairs that they recommend!

This dealership used to be Willey Honda, but is now Performance Honda. We bought a Honda Civic in 2009 and had a great buying experience. It was a bit different this time around. We stopped in on a early Saturday morning to look at 2014 CRV LX which is the base model. The Salesman were kind and helpful answering our questions mostly for my wife because I had researched the Honda CRV before and I knew what we wanted in the way of a car model and trim level. My wife did the ceremonial test drive with Allen the salesman (with the cool English accent) in front, and me... in the back seat enjoying the ride (I already knew this was the car, but my wife needed to know by driving it) And when it came to pricing. We only negotiated only once because the price was the same as the as what I had researched. So I was good with the price. At this point things did not go so well. Part of the reason could be the amount of customers showing up, and the sales/finance people were spread a little thin. Anyway we sat down with the finance person and went over the extras... every dealership sells them ...it like going to the movies. A good share of the profits goes to Hollywood so the theater needs to sell you higher priced popcorn to get extra income. That's my guess anyway.So we sat down with the finance person to over the extras. Extended warranty? No thanks we got one on the last Honda we bought here and never had a problem with the car. Window tinting?? No don't need it, windows already have UV coatings on them. Scotch guard on the fabric?? No thanks we will be getting seat covers. GAP insurance?? No thanks, we will get it through our credit union. But this insurance is through your credit union. Oh.... ok. After looking at the contract we signed the next day and calling our credit union, only then did I find out that the GAP insurance was through another company. And the same insurance that would cost $795 was only $299 through our credit union. I was upset at that point. I also found another charge of $398 in the options that had no explanation to what it was. I had to dig through the paper work to find out it was some sort of theft protection. When you are older you don't catch all the extra items.I did call Performance Honda a few days later and asked the receptionist to have someone contact me. But never had anyone call back. I then sent a certified letter to the dealership with my concerns about getting reimbursed. I then called the dealership this morning(8/26/2014) and talked to the finance person who had already taken off the GAP insurance, but could not take off the other theft protection item. The dealership adds it to every car, but when it's listed on the contract with only the price, that's not right.So in hindsight what would I do different? #1 go on a slow sales day. Monday to Thursday.#2 go on a slow sales day....because if I did I would have caught the problems before wasting my time to get things fixed between the credit union and dealership.I am still recommending Performance Honda to others with some reservations. I have been to a lot of bad dealerships over the years. And Willey/Performance Honda is way better than most. I don't like being lied to or maybe the finance person thought he was telling the truth about GAP insurance (it was getting busy that day) I don't know. So if your an old grandpa guy like me (a lot of older folks are buying CRV's) double check everything before buying.

Took my car in for service. Had to wait for 20 minutes before finally finding the cashier out in the garage talking to the service guys. She treated me like I was inconveniencing her because I needed to pay the bill and get my car keys. Got home and found out that when the new battery was put in, the security code was not entered so my radio didn't work. Wasn't about to return to them to fix it after the way I was treated the first time. I really miss WILLEY Honda - never had these kinds of things happen with them.

They were very nice until signed on dotted line, then your on your own. Have called Corey Schneider number of times, NO CALL BACKS. Car was sold as new, was not told it was a demo with 587 miles on it. After finding out about the high mileage on car, Corey told us we would get a FREE window tinting. But, later was told by Dustin Hansen ( Finance Director), we had to buy a $1000.00 Polysteel paint protection , to get free window tinting.. After getting car back from their detail shop ( Polished Image ) we discovered air bubbles in the tint job and paint chip on the drivers door also a cut in the leather on gear shift..

I live in California but was in desperate need of purchasing a 2012-2014 Acura TL with a manual transmission. These cars are very hard to come by which is why I had to look somewhere other than CA. When I looked online and saw a 2013 Acura TL w/ Manual Transmission at Performance Honda (Bountiful), I jumped on it, the car only had 17,800 miles. The whole transaction went pretty smoothly considering I was doing everything by phone since I couldn't be there in person. I asked the sales rep a lot of questions in regards to the condition of the car and he would always tell me it was in immaculate condition, I asked if it's been in any car accidents and he said no, "we don't sell cars involved in accidents". Needless to say I went for it and bought the car for $32,298, once all the paperwork was done they shipped me the car for a reasonable price. I was excited to receive it but when I got it I noticed right away the paint was off in the front bumper compared to the rest of the car. There was also gaps between the front headlights and the bumper, this obviously caused many concerns for me. I tried to not think much of it since it was only cosmetics but for a 32k car, you want a mint condition car especially from a dealer that has a lot of good reviews online. When I started driving the car I noticed a huge rattling noise behind the glove box, after a couple of days of annoyance I took it to the local Acura Dealer and here's where the problems started mounting. When I went to pick up the car they told me the car had been in an accident, whoever had done the repair didn't tighten the bracket which holds the airbag behind the glove compartment, that's why it was rattling. They also noticed that a lot of the clips holding the side fenders and front bumpers were missing. Upon further inspection they said they wanted to hold on to the car longer because the electric power steering was making too much noise which wasn't normal, the next day they called me and said that the power steering rack would need to be replaced, it must have been damaged in the accident but was never replaced. That was a 4k expense which thankfully Acura covered under warranty, especially since they felt bad for me and I had purchased 2 Acura's from them in the past 10 years so they helped me out. About a week later the 6 speed manual transmission was failing, it would not let me shift into 1st gear at all so I took it back to the dealer. The dealer said they can't confirm whether or not the problem is due to the accident so they will repair under warranty. In a way I am very fortunate that the Acura Dealer is helping me out, if it wasn't for them I would be spending a lot of money on repairs right now. The problem for now is, what else does this car have that I am not aware of? There's always that lingering thought in the back of my head. I called the sales rep from Performance Honda to let him know everything that is going on and all they say is they're sorry. They didn't offer to return the car or exchange it, maybe adjust the price since the car was involved in an accident, you would think they would do something to take some responsibility but unfortunately I'm stuck. The sales rep that helped me has a real good reputation there and I would prefer not to mention his name because in all honesty, I don't know whether or not he knew the car was in an accident, I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt. In conclusion do I regret buying the car? Yes I do, for the price I paid I shouldn't have to be dealing with these issues. It's unfortunate for me but hopefully this review helps other buyers to be cautious of what they buy.

If you want a good experience without feeling pressure look up either one of these gentlemen. The finance man that was helping us was awesome also. The experience for the most part was enjoyable. There is always a hick-up and a bad egg at the dealerships but the others made up for it. He really was not that bad of an egg just real arrogant. This is the second time I have been there, the first time my mom bought a car and we had a wonderful experience. I would buy from them again.

My overall experience with Performance Honda was sub-par. In negotiating and finalizing the purchase with Cory (salesman) and Dustin (finance manager), both used time draining sales tactics. I can only perceive their slow back and forth from me to the "manager" on pricing and agreed upon service as a method of "wear the customer down". Luckily, I had comfortable leverage on my part and I believe I received a fair price for the car and agreed upon service to the vehicle. I will note however, some items that we had discussed did not make it into the final purchasing agreement paperwork, namely a new battery for the car. When I raised the matter with Dustin and Cory, both did not recall such an agreement.The price we had agree upon was with the intent that I would finance through them. Recognizing that they weren't going to include the battery in purchase and that the interest rate they were offering was the same as the bank I was planning to use. I revoked my agreement for financing and opted to use my bank. Dustin proceeded to lower the rate to practically nothing, but as a matter of principle, I declined and stayed with my financing company. At which point, I was told I "had some kind of pride". (very classy)After roughly 4 1/2 hours I walked off the lot with the car. I returned 2 days later for the service to be performed. All items stated in the we owe agreement were met. I was generally pleased with the transaction at this point. The check from the bank was delayed due to paperwork errors on Performance Honda's part. I chased for 2 business days to get it resolved, so they could receive payment. From the receptionist to Cory and then to Dustin, I didn't gather they had a sense of urgency on the matter as I got the run around. It eventually was corrected and payment was received. However, I did receive chaser calls asking where the check was. I'll spell it out, when you don't fix paperwork that the financing company says has to be changed, you will not get a check until its done.Additionally, I agreed to the dealership submitting my application for license plates. I purchased the car at the end of June and I finally received the plates on August 4th, over a month later. I made several calls and then used email chasing Dustin to get the application submitted. Finally, Melisa in the title office reached out asking for a copy of my DL, as they needed it for the application. Note that a copy of my ID was made on the day of my purchase and was now not in the paper work. I expressed my frustration to Melisa and asked why it had taken so long and how they could have lost my information etc. Melisa responded like a true professional apologizing for the delays and lack of satisfactory work. She expedited my application and took measures to ensure that she was doing all she could to get the matter solved. I now have completed the entire transaction with Performance.In summary, I believe that Performance Honda is a relatively good dealership. However, the lackluster responses and complete lack of urgency on both Cory and Dustin's part is alarming to me. I commend Melisa for her professionalism and sense of urgency on the matter and hope that management will take note of who is really helping their business and who is not.

I brought my honda pilot in for one of the "free car washes" performance honda gives to their customers. During the wash the machine broke part of the luggage rack off the roof which resulted in a cracked windshield a few days later. I returned to see if performance honda would make things right. The service manager Andy Zeisler said that there was no record of the incident but after I persisted he went out to the car wash and found the broken piece of my luggage rack. After that he said they would do the right thing and have both the rack and the windshield replaced. I applaud his extra effort in not simply putting me through the motions, giving me the scripted "I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do" getting up, hustling to dig down and do his own investigating and then doing the right thing.

Work and service was good. My complaint is that they quoted an estimated price based on the "book" time it would take for the job, which is fine for an estimate because it takes into account the MOST time the job should take. However, when the "book" time is 2 1/2 hours and they only spend 1 1/2 hours then charge me for 2 1/2 hours we have a problem. In the end they charged me $173.33/hour for labor. Does that seem fair? I would recommend finding a mechanic that is honest and charges you for labor they actually do instead of the most they think they can get away with. Performance Honda seems to be ok with the "one and done" business model without worrying about gaining repeat customers.

I bought another Honda from Allan Thompson at the Honda Dealership in Bountiful, Utah. He is still an excellent salesman who sold me my first Honda in 2007 and sold me my CRV in 2014. He was extremely knowledgeable and was never pushy. He was patient with my wife and I and was certainly better at knowing about cars than any other dealership that we went to. He checked back with us to see if everything was OK and if he could do anything more for us. I had visited Willey Honda on several occasions before and didn't care for their approach to car buying and customer service. I was met by a salesman named Anthony who was polite, not overbearing, and knowledgeable. I told him I was just there to get information and he patiently answered my questions. I have owned a couple of older Hondas before and am familiar with their reputation and was glad to see that the new cars had kept up on the technological advances. To make a long story short after a long test drive for both my wife and I, we decided that due to pricing incentives we could purchase a new Accord for very close to the payments on our aging Saturn. It ended up being a long day but the staff at Performance Honda made it as pleasant as possible. We received a fair trade value and a good price on the Accord. If you are in the market for a new car and Honda is on your short list you owe it to yourself to look up Anthony, he was great to work with.

I called up the dealership from Pocatello, Idaho (150 miles away) and visited with Corey Schneider on the phone - he promptly reviewed my questions and clearly answered them - we drove down to Bountiful and the car was better than we thought - we felt we were treated by Corey with honesty and respect. This is the sixth Honda I have purchased, now leased this one. My previous experiences were before Performance Honda bought out Willey Honda, Bountiful. I could tell that the dealership had changed and frankly I was not anxious for any change as every prior purchase had been and excellent experience and I had always received great service with no pressure sales. This has kept me coming back and I have my own family and even friends now having shopped at this location because of our unconditional recommendation. However, if it weren't for Allen Thompson and his great experience and knowledge, and the fact that I came to trust Allen and my wife and I liked him very much, I'm not sure I would have made the transition to the new Performance Honda operation. I felt pressure from others there (the car sales game) and the typical "car sales stuff" that you can find in almost any other dealer in the Salt Lake and Davis County areas. I don't do games when it comes to buying ( now leasing ) a car. Performance is from out of the State of Utah, I understand from asking others, and I hope they realize that this is Bountiful, Utah and there are different ways of looking at things. Trust, is very important and not being, or feel that you are being tricked into something, is of major importance.Allen Thompson made all the difference in the world for my wife and me. Because of him I am satisfied with my lease experience and would come back to Performance Honda in Bountiful again. I am just waiting to see if everything rights itself with this new organization. We and our family members have purchased Honda vehicles for the past 15 years from Willey Honda. The dealer was recently purchased by Performance Auto Group. When we first arrived, we met with our favorite salesman, Allan Thompson. He introduced us to his new sales manager (team leader) Jason. He suggested we consider a new car so we started dealing with Mr. Thompson. He worked out a deal and Jason came in and negotiated the amount. We agreed and we both signed the agreement. I put $500 deposit because they did not have the vehicle I wanted. When they received the vehicle, we went in to pick it up. Jason told us that the lease rate had changed so the amount would be increased by $40 per month. We were livid!!! Mr. Thompson chose to bypass Jason and went to Russ Smith (the real sales manager). He came back and asked for the signed agreement document and proof of the deposit. As soon as he saw them he said they were an honest, reliable dealer and they would stand by their deal. He was very honest and very professional and very pleasant. He fit in to the type of dealer we were used to and will continue to do business with the best salesman in the business, Allan Thompson. Thank goodness the purchase of Willey Honda by Performance Honda did not change the principles of the dealership and they don't try to change their best salesman, Allan Thompson.

For the past 21 years, I have bought nothing but Hondas (2 Civics, 1 Odyssey and 1 CRV). The service I have received at this service center has always been to my utmost satisfaction. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. I have always felt treated as a VIP and felt dealt with fairly. The cost of repairs might be slightly higher than getting work done at some other repair shops, but you get what you pay for. For instance, when getting my breaks replaced (in my Odyssey) at a "NON-Honda" service center I had to go back 3 times to get things corrected d/t poor parts and labor quality (and that was at a reputable company). However, when getting my breaks replaced at Willey Honda in Bountiful, I could not have been more PLEASED with the results!!! I avoid getting my cars serviced outside of Willey Honda's Service Center in Bountiful.

From the time that I first contacted Tyler Vance in the service department, he was very friendly and helpful. When I physically dropped the car off at the dealership, Troung Trinh checked the problems out that I had identified as the reasons why I was bringing it to them to be serviced and the Tyler Vance called me and we discussed what Troung Trinh had found out about the car. Tyler was very professional and explaind everything to me very well and was able to answer all of my questions very politely and completely. Tyler even called me to let me know when the work had ben copleted on the car and when I picked the car up after Troung Trinh had coompleted the work on it, the car operates just fine now and the problems with the car have all been addressed.

Every experience that I have had with Wiley Honda has been fantastic. Let's take this week for example, I did not make an appointment for service and it was no problem at all. They took my car right in. I was gone for about an hour and I got a call from Jason that the car was ready. I went back to the dealership, presented my 10% off coupon and walked to my car. It was freshly washed and the service was done to perfection...as always! I think Jason is one of the friendliest people I get to deal with. He always greets me with a smile and the answer is always that they will get it done. I talk about Wiley Honda often with my peers as I think it is the best dealership I have ever worked with. When it comes time to buy a new car I will most likely buy from Wiley, but if I buy from another Honda dealer for some reason I will most definetly go to Wiley for service.

We drove to Bountiful, Utah to look at a Toyota SUV. On the way there, we decided to stop and look at a Honda CR-V. We took one for a test drive and were totally impressed with the way the vehicle performed and handled. We were also impressed by the way the sales person accommodated us without being pushy. We feel like the sales person gave us a really good deal on the vehicle, a good deal on the trade-in, and was very informative and helpful throughout the entire purchase. When we decided to trade in our car, we needed something that was roomy, practical and with AWD. We found what we needed at Willey Honda when we elected to go with the Toyota Sienna. One of the key things that comes with the Siennas that we liked is the capability of using run-flat tires. When we began the buying process, we were under the impression the Sienna we were buying had run-flat tires on it, as were the sales staff since they had purchased it from another dealer. Therefore, we bought a van that we expected was equipped with run-flat tires. Fast forward 5 months to when I was performing the first tire rotation, I found out the tires on the van were actually NOT run-flats but basic tires. This was a big concern given these vans dont come equipped with a spare tire, not to mention, it wasnt equipped the way I purchased it. I proceeded to call my salesman back, not expecting much since a lot of time had passed and the deal was done but hoping for fair treatment. Much to my surprise, upon calling my salesman back, he remembered who I was, what I bought and many details of our deal. After explaining to him the situation, he agreed something should be done but was honest in telling me it was out of his control, so he directed me to his manager, Mr. Willey himself. After discussing the situation with Mr. Willey, he agreed there was a misunderstanding and accepted full ownership of resolving the situation for me. He worked with their local tire partner and week later, he had me come in and exchange the basic tires for run-flat tiresat NO COST to me! Its hard to find business owners these days that are willing to accept responsibility and correct things, since this normally impacts profits and the bottom line. In addition, its hard to find people that are simply willing to do the right thing. After working with the guys at Willey Honda, Im happy to report they did the right thing for me and treated me fairly. They were stand-up guys throughout the process. Id highly recommend doing business with them.

They sold us a car with a bad engine, and we are into it $2000 in repairs. They also REFUSE to answer questions or help with anything after you've signed your paperwork. We have already gone through the hardship of a job loss, and a major car accident, and now we have to deal with the consequences of trusting Willey Deal, based on their reputation. Constant visits to the mechanic, and expensive repairs is a headache, not to mention we obviously overpaid for our car, since it was mechanically deficient. I will not go there again!

Bait & Swithc!!! I tried to have Willey Honda help me with an issue concerning the A/C on my 07 Honda Accord. When I talked to the tech on the phone he told me to bring it down and they could tell me what was wrong with it at no cost to me. When I got there the tech told me that they wouldn't even look at it for a penny less than $169.00 - Can you say Bait & Switch!!! If this is how they do buisness when it comes to service, I can only imagine what you get when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I will never use Willey Honda in NSL again and I recommend that you don't either

My husband and I had researched the car we wanted online. When we called to ask about it and Dallas set up an appointment with us to come take a look. He also showed us a few other options and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy like other sales people we have dealt with at other dealers. We really like that there is no haggling involved and not once did we hear "what will it take to get you into this car today?". Buying a car is a big commitment and it is important to feel comfortable and I believe Willy Honda understands that. We have purchased 2 cars at Willy before this and are very pleased. Thank You Dallas. We however are not a big fan of the after sales process where we get bombarded with extended warranties and add ons. Yes let us know its available but please don't make us feel we are idiots if we do not choose to buy these addition products. This process did not include our salesperson Dallas at all - we are very pleased with Dallas and the personal interest he took in us.

This was the best car-buying experience I've ever had - BY FAR. After finalizing the sale of my gas guzzling truck on Friday morning, my parents and I went in search of a new fuel-efficient vehicle to save my wallet. Our first two salesmen that day were very stereotypical car salesmen. I really LOATHE the deal or no deal game, and I was very frustrated. We walked away from one car that i REALLY wanted, just because the guy was a creep. And my parents (having recently purchased a Honda) insisted that we go to Willey Honda just to see what was available. The atmosphere at this dealership was 100% different. Our salesman, Chris Iarussi, was SO knowledgeable; not just about Hondas but every car I asked him about. He was very honest about the pro's and con's of each vehicle. He taught us about things that we didn't even know to ask about, and he never (NOT ONCE) made me feel pressured. When he learned that my income was tight, he told us about leasing. At first, i cringed; leasing is a scary word. But he taught us in depth about the way leasing is done today, and about why it would be a good option for me. I appreciated that he made it easy for me to understand, and he was right! The three year lease is perfect for my situation. AND!!! for the first time in my life, I'm driving a brand NEW car in exactly the color I wanted! Hand picked, just for ME! Chris even showed me how to use a bunch of the features on my computerized dash before I left the dealership. Thank you for the low-pressure environment, it made the experience enjoyable. My shiny black 2012 Civic is so beautiful, and now I'M ONE HAPPY HONDA DRIVER!!! :) :) :)

Today I visited Willey Honda in Bountiful Utah to purchase another car with my son. I had the privilege of purchasing a Honda Pilot from Allan Thompson in November of 2009 and was so impressed by his service that I wanted to only purchase our cars through him again due to a poor purchase at Ensign Honda in Logan in Utah at the end of 2010. I again was reminded why I like Willey Honda so much! Allan Thompson assisted us almost immediately upon arrival. He helped my son find the car that was the best fit for him. He also gave us drinks to keep us hydrated while he explained all the details of the vehicle. He guided us through the complete process from test drive, financing and getting the car ready to go after making us feel comfortable with our purchase. I will continue to only purchase cars from Willey Honda and Allan Thompson in the future. I'm not saying Ensign Honda in Logan was awful but the vehicle I purchased there was presented to me not cleaned, the gas tank was not filled and It just didn't compare to how Willey Honda and Allan Thompson give such professional service in so many ways.

This was my third Honda purchase from Willey Honda and as with the other two times I didn't have to play the rediculous and offensive game "let me talk to my manager." Allan Thompson was up-front, professional, respectful, very knowledgable about the car, and I believe very honest in his dealings with me. No games, just a friendly, frank and fair dialog about the various options for purchase and then a quick and smooth transaction once I decided to buy the car. We have a new baby coming, and needed a larger vehicle. We looked at the Honda Pilot at the auto show, where Kathy Maddox answered all our questions, without being "pushy". When we were ready, we stopped at the dealership where Kathy gave us a great test drive, and helped us decide. We wanted the Pilot, but it had to be white. My husband and I arrived at the Honda dealership and quickly greeted by Allan. He asked us a few questions and assessed our needs in a vehicle. He talked to us about the different options and showed us some cars out on the lot. He NEVER was pushy but always helpful and informative. He was extremely knowledgable in the Accord that we were looking at. He said to think about it and then let him know how he could help us. We then left to go to another dealership and then quickly returned to look some more and ask more questions. We felt that he was always honest and upfront with the information. We purchased the car that day but needed to wait for it to arrive at the dealership. Our new car arrived today and the tinted windows were done and the protective shield was put on. I've had a wonderful relationship with Willey Honda going back many years. I wouldn't buy a Honda anywhere else because of the way they choose to do business. They adopted a 'one fair price' approach years ago which takes away all the pressure typically associated with new car buying. He met us early, asked us about our interests, and listened carefully to what we were looking for, price range etc. He talked to us about the different options that were available showing a deep understanding of technology, options, and specifications etc of his product line, then showed us some several cars with the options that we were looking for. He accompanied us on our test drives and continued explaining some of the technology and feature that the cars had.Allen was very friendly, knowledgeable, but never pushy. Every other Honda dealership I talked to wanted to go through the whole haggling process and would not give me the best price the first time I asked. Torn wiper blades were not found during a detailed inspection prior to purchase so 3 weeks later we were reimbursed 50% of the cost for new blades.

I've bought 5 cars in my life time and thus have been 'around-the-block' with car dealers and salesmen. The salesmen always start off pleasant and nice and tell you about the car you are test driving. Then you decide to make an offer and you do the "dickering" back and forth until you - the customer - THINK you are satisfied. You start the bidding off with the salesman and then you end up bargaining with the sales manager and then by the time all is said and done you are probably dealing with someone that has nothing to do with the sale of the car. Yep. Honestly. It's happened.I don't think a lot of people go in to buy a car used or new knowing exactly what they are getting themselves into. They think they want car A and then they get talked into car B for a price that really isn't in their budget or what they had hoped to get or even planned for. Been there. Done that too. Today, however, was a whole different ball game. I'd sold my car out right so I had no old loan hovering above my head. I had no car to trade in or try to get a good price for. That was bonus #1 for me.Bonus #2 for me was that I had gone to my credit union first to get pre-approved so I had a ball park figure to work with.Bonus #3 was going to Willey Honda (sorry Chris that you are #3 but this is about me!) I had contacted them via email the day before about a 2011 Civic EX-L and wanted to test drive it. However, I had just sat in a 2008 model and had decided it was too small for me. So I had done a little more research and had seen they had an Accord EX-L on the lot that had all the options I was looking for. Chris was right there to greet us as we were trying to just peek at the car. He was kind and courteous and knowledgeable about this car we were test driving. The price was just about right but at the time I didn't think it was good enough. So we walked away.And then we went to a Toyota Dealer and played "the game". The Salesman, the test drive, the dicker, the sales manager, the re-dicker, the salesman, and last the sales manager as we walked out the door. Called Chris back up -- Said I want that Honda - he said OK It's yours and I am now a new owner of a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L and I'm excited to drive it places! The bottom line is this: If you want a good car, at good value, at INVOICE price and not MSRP price, with nice and friendly staff that know their jobs -- WILLEY HONDA IS THE PLACE!

The thing I like about Willey Honda is the sales staff; in particular, Chris Iarussi did an excellent job for me. He was hands off and not pushy, his interpersonal skills are superb. I loved the fact that a car was not shoved down my throat. He presented my options and helped me avoid purchasing a bad vehicle from a neighbor of mine. The price you saw on this car sticker was the price you paid for the car. I liked that. After I decided to purchase the car, Alex saw me throught the entire car purchasing process. He helped set up several of the car's options and features and explained all the benefits of the dealership. He offered any help even after we had bought the car in case we needed to get some explanation of how everything worked.

Everyone at Willey Honda are friendly and exhibit superb customer service! Initially, the price of the Honda Element brought us to Honda. The clearly understood cost of our first Element without any pressure to purchase something we didn't want just so they could make a bigger profit - like some other dealers will do - made a major initial impression on my husband and myself. My sales representative, Pete Black always makes me feel at home and welcomed - even when I'm not in to purchase a new vehicle. So does the General Manager, Ron Henson. We've always received wonderful and fair offers on our trade-ins. Purchasing a vehicle at Willey Honda is so easy and low stress. They are really interested in the customer getting what the customer wants over trying to cram unwanted junk simply to raise the price of the vehicle. The General Manager, Sales Reps, and the folks filling out all the paperwork, make the experience enjoyable and ensure you are fully aware of what papers you are signing and know everything about your vehicle before you drive off the lot. Once you purchase your vehicle, their Service Department is super! They keep all the information regarding your vehicle in a computer and immediately have that information available as soon as you call for an appointment. They address me by my name and know the model and year of my vehicles - while I know that information is in their computer, it really makes the customer feel good to have the service rep speak to you as if you are a friend and not just some stupid customer that hasn't a clue. We get everything done to our Hondas at Willey Honda - to include scheduled maintenance, new tires, wiper blade replacements, etc. Haven't had to have repairs completed but only because our Honda's haven't needed repairs, only maintenance. We have purchased 4 Honda Elements from Willey Honda. After our first, it was the great service we got from their Service Department that brought us back when we were ready to purchase another vehicle. Now it's their entire staff that keeps us coming back. One of my neighbors asked me why I would drive 35 miles for an oil change ... after she accompanied me once, she understood. With two Elements that are driven alot, I'm in Willey Honda quite frequently for oil changes. I know they are all busy, but they always take time (no matter how busy they are) to make me feel like they are happy to see me.

We shopped on the internet and the response and price from Willey was great. When we got there we also recieved the best service and no pressure sales staff we have ever worked with. I had wanted to replace a 12-year-old car with over 202,000 miles on it. So I called around Salt Lake valley dealers and other dealers in Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado looking for a 2010 CRV EX. I determined that Willey Honda's no haggle price was the best I could find. Called Willey Honda and made an appointment to meet with Kathy Maddox on the last day of the year. She was very attentive to our questions and needs. The entire staff was very friendly. There was no high-pressure sales tactics from Kathy or her Manager. When it came time to work out the trade in value of my car, the Manager and I drove my car and he made what I felt as a very reasonable offer. The paperwork process was quick and the entire experience from start to finish took less than 3 hours. This was my second Honda purchase from Willey Honda, and as long as we purchase Honda's, they will be my dealer of choice.

I have to admit that my wife and I ended up at Willey Honda by chance rather than by design. I had been researching small hatchbacks and decided that a Honda Fit was worth a personal look and a test drive. After checking inventory on the web, I found that Willey Honda was the only dealer in the area with a Fit Sport with a manual transmission. So, on Saturday morning we drove over to check it out. We were met at the sidewalk by Kathy Maddox, who immediately went to check if the car was still available. It was, so she got the keys and we took a test drive. Kathy was helpful without being pushy, and agreed to hold the car until later that afternoon while we checked out a couple of other models. We did so, and decided that the Fit was the best fit for us. The sales experience was very low key. The dealer did not try to load us down with extras we didn't want, and overall this was one of the top two car buying experiences I have had in over 35 years of buying cars.

After calling and speaking with every Honda dealer in the state, Kathy at Willey Honda was the only person that presented the idea of my lease end Odyssey having value as a trade. She was right and it earned my business. I later spoke to a friend of mine who had bough the Honda Pilot last year and was discussing my purchase. Apparently he had the same great experience at Willey Honda and it was with Kathy as the salesperson also. He drove from American Fork and I came from West Jordan. I don't buy a car very often, and when I do I kind of dread the whole process. This time I test drove lots of cars at lots of dealerships and did lots of research, so that I would know exactly what I wanted and what I felt would be a fair price before I was ready to purchase. When I requested a quote from Willey Honda, Walker responded very quickly with a great price. The quote was very straight forward and included all costs/fees so that I could really see what I'd be spending. I really appreciated the haggle-free atmosphere, and it definitely made me want to buy my car there. The whole process was easy. They made sure that they found the exact car that I was looking for, and really made it a good experience. I have already told others about my good experience there.

I've purchased other vehicles in my lifetime, and boy did I have to go through the hassle & haggle. So this time was going to be different, I did my homework for months and knew exactly how much I wanted to pay and how much dealerships in the area were selling the car I wanted for. From the moment I sent the email request for a quote to the many questions I had-- Allan and Ron Hansen all were very professional and quick to reply honestly about my inquiries. So much so, that once I got my questions answered and my out-the-door price I knew instantly where I'd be buying my next car. And not once did I feel pressured or obligated in any way, like other places do. Their price was no where near most of the competitors, and trust me when I say "I did my homework." I waited over 6 months to make my move, but it was all worth it. There was only one other place that was in the ballpark that I had visited 6 months prior. But the sales guy made me wait, tried the hassle and haggle and I absolutely hated every minute of it. I walked away knowing that I wouldn't be returning. And so when it came down to decision time, I drove to Willey Honda unannounced and I was very impressed with Anti the sales guy. I told him I knew what I wanted, that I had test drove the car and that I was there to talk business. He was very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. This car purchase experience has changed my views on car dealerships. I most definitely will be back to purchase my next new car in a few years.

The finance person requested credit from banks after assuring me that they, the dealer, work with all the local credit unions. My loan was already approved with a local credit union, they knew that and they got a loan from a bank. Now I must deal with a bank in California. What is frustrating is that they just don't care about the customer wishes is all about profit. for me, this is the first and last time I deal with them.

They just gave me the best deal on the first time. The trade in factor was huge for me and they gave me the amount i needed to make my deal happen. They are the best.

As for car shopping, this has by far beent he best experience. There was no hassle when I went looking around the lot at their cars. The sales lady, Susie, came up and asked if we needed help. She was not hovering over us, ready to pounce. When we decided what we wanted to look at closer she was readily available.Then when I decided on the car to buy, the process did not take all day long. Just over and hour, which was great. Did not need to bring a cot and DVD player.Willey Hondas' pricing was also in line. The dealer that actually had the exact car I wanted was higher, but wanted to 'deal' when I told them I was buying from Willey Honda.I would highly recommend this dealer to everyone.

The reason for the Great rating is for the following areas: I have purchased several Hondas over the years from Willey Honda and Randy Pearson has always answered any questions and given good advice. He has all the personal skills needed for his position. He has answered questions concerning new honda models, with a high degree of knowledge. Allan Thompson has worked with me on the purchase of two of my new Hondas. I presently have four Hondas; with two being new and the other two being a 05 Accord and a 88 CRX. I also have a 06 Honda Helix scooter. As you can see I like Hondas. I have always worked with Steve Grover in the service area and found him to be truthful and very sincere. I understand he has retired as of the first of the year. I wish him well in his retirement years but wish he would have post-poned it for a while longer. Also I would like to mention Stan Roberts who handles the paperwork and finance end of the purchase. He is very professional and seems to have my interest along with the Willey Honda's when it comes to finance. I feel very comfortable with Willey Honda. I have owned several cars including several being exotic cars over the last fifty years. I have purchased them from various dealers and found the Honda the best vehicle for the dollar and Willey Honda the best customer dealer friendly and honest I have dealt with.

I have dealt with the service department at Willey Honda several times. They have never been good communicators, but there is one repair that I had done there that really exemplifies the kind of problems you should expect when dealing with their service staff.My vehicle was included in the following TSB:Make : HONDA Model : CIVIC Year : 2006Manufacturer : HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.)Service Bulletin Num : 506 Date of Bulletin: MAY 01, 2006NHTSA Item Number: 10020038Component: STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:PUMPSummary:FLUID LEAK AT POWER STEERING PUMP. *TTIt was under warranty, and the solution was simple, replace an O-ring in the power steering pump. I had my car there for an oil change when the service staff there notified me that this o-ring replacement needed to be done. However, they had run out of parts because they had been doing a lot of these repairs, they said they would order some in for me, and just put them in next time I came in.At my next oil change I asked the service person who was taking my car about the o-ring replacement. He didn't know anything about it, and didn't bother to investigate. So I talked to the guy at the parts desk and he confirmed that they still didn't have any, they had used the ones that they had ordered for me on someone else's car. And he said he would order more.Sometime later I did receive a call letting me know the parts had arrived. No other information was given to me. So I waited until my next oil change to bring the car in, because that was the plan in the first place.At my next oil change I asked about the o-ring replacement, and no one know what I was talking about! I spoke with everyone I could.At my next oil change I brought in a copy of the TSB, and explained how angry they had made me. And they finally preformed the service that could have & should have been done 20,000 miles and nearly a year ago.I strongly recommend excessive caution when dealing with any person in Willey Honda's service department. If they make a commitment to you I suggest you ask lots of probing questions so that you know what to expect, or possibly even get them to put it in writing. In the end they did get the work done, and my power steering pump no longer leaks, I just wish is wasn't such a hassle.
