Great experience overall from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The internet sale rep Nadine was very welcoming and helpful from the word go as was our sales professional Ben. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told we could take both vehicles for a couple of days to "test" them out before we finalized the purchase. It definitely gave my wife and I peace of mind to ensure we were making the right choice. Overall, it was by far the best experience we've had at a car dealership over the years.

I trust the Phil Long Hyundai Maintenance Dept so well that I just tell them, "have your mechanic fix whatever he sees that needs doing," and they always (1) do great work and (2) make the experience pleasant. The bill is often surprisingly less than I expected, because they won't do nything unnecessary, even if I've asked them to check what I think might be a problem. Just good folks. Fantastic service that went above and beyond from Dave Britton in Colorado Springs! We bought a car for our son who goes to school in Boulder. We had an issue with the car that needed to be addressed and it was a puzzle that needed to get solved. Dave understood our problem and made it completely convenient for our son to have a loaner car while they solved the issue. Even met our son half way to switch/return the car to accommodate our son's busy college class schedule. This was above and beyond service and so appreciated by us. Thank you Dave. I made an internet inquiry on Sunday and someone called on Monday to ask when I could come in. I went Tuesday and had already decided what vehicle I wanted. We test drove a Tucson and the salesman explained everything about it. We negotiated on price a little and the deal was done. The longest part is getting through the finance part. I wish they had some real snacks instead of only water. I was there for 4 hours that night. They try their absolute best to sell you warranty beyond the standard. I was able to get just the warranty part (covers electronics and other parts) without what's in the basic package (includes tire and wheel and dings). Everything was set up so we could move through signing a lot of documents so at least the finance person didn't have to hunt for something. When I picked up the car, the same salesman explained everything in detail on the inside of the car and hooked up Bluetooth to my phone so I didn't have to figure that out later.

Hyundai completed a 12 point inspection prior to this visit. During this visit, they completed everything on the list in the amount of time allotted AND charged exactly what they estimated the repairs to be. There was no wait time; I was in and out, quickly. I don't typically go to the dealer for such services as many times you can get the same service elsewhere for substantially less. Surprisingly, in shopping around, Hyundai offered very competitive pricing for their services. I will use them in the future.

I had a 10:15 am appointment on a Friday and dropped my car off at that time. There were 3 things for them to look at. I was told they would diagnose the problems and then call me with an estimate. I didn't hear anything by about 3:00 so I gave them a call. The lady who answered the phone said my service rep, Mikey, was tied up and he would call me back shortly. By 5:00 I still had not heard anything, so called again. Again I was told Mikey was tied up with a customer and he would call me back. I was beginning to wonder if I would even get my car back that day. I never received a phone call back at all on Friday. By Saturday morning at 10 AM, I still hadn't heard anything. I called the Service Desk and received their voice mail message to leave a message and they would call me back. I then called the sales office and they said someone would call me back in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later no one called, so I called again. I was finally put in touch with Mikey and he said they were very busy and understaffed and that is my car wasn't ready. Just a call back on Friday with a status report would have only taken a couple of minutes. Being busy is no excuse. He then offered a rental, however I didn't want a rental, I just wanted my car back and asked him if he guaranteed they would get it done by 3 pm. He said they would and he would call me when it was ready. If they were that busy they should never have let me make an appointment for 10:15 am. I would have gladly rescheduled had I known I would not get my car back the same day I dropped it off. Mikie called me at 1 PM on Saturday and said my car was ready. I requested a discount for their ineptness and he gave me 10% off. I expected more since I didn't have my car for almost 2 straight days on a holiday weekend. When I picked up my car Mikey wasn't there. The service rep who gave me my keys and bill didn't want to hear my complaints. He said he gave Mikey all my messages and he had nothing to do with it. I never thought in a million years that no one would call me back with a status report and that I would not get my car back until the next afternoon. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a dealership and will certainly never go back. I had a bad experience with Phil Long Hyundai at Motor City as well about a year ago. They say they have shuttle service, but after waiting on a shuttle ride for over an hour, I had to call someone to take me to work. They don't really have a "shuttle", one of their service people will take you "if they have the time". They didn't tell me that when I made my appointment and verified they could shuttle me to work. I will never go back to any Phil Long dealership. I will drive to Denver if I have to get Hyundai service. For all other repairs I will go to a local repair shop.

The buying experience was just OK. Took forever to get in with finance to get papers signed and this was on a weekday afternoon. No buyers even in the dealership. We assumed they had 2 keys. My mistake. Should have included it in the price of the car, but didn't. Of course they won't work with us. Now I'm going to be out $346 ($204 for the FOB, $82 for the key & $60 to program the xxxx thing).

Hard to really evaluate the service department when all they did was change oil and updated the transmission firmware. They punted on the other safety recall because they didn't have the parts. Apparently the 2016 Tucson isn't as popular as they claimed.Even though I called and set up the appointment for Friday morning I got there to discover they never made the appointment - their computer didn't have me anywhere. Considering I got the car there, that strikes me as yet another disconnect between sales and service.

I purchased a hail damaged vehicle. Looking over the contract later after purchase, I didn't see a discount for the damage. It seemed to me the price I paid was too high for the damage the vehicle has. I called the dealership to talk to finance and try to go over the contract to understand. It took several calls to get in touch with someone, then when I did, I was told they would email a copy of the contract showing the discount and I never received it. I finally went to the dealership to talk to someone. Got some help but still not enough understanding. I love Hyundai and hope to continue driving your vehicles but a little more help with this contract issue would have been very good.

I had a Hyundai Elantra a few years ago and met Marty, the Service Rep, at this dealership at that time. He has always been great to work with. I mistakenly traded that car in on another brand that ended up being a maintenance nightmare. Not only was the car not reliable, but the service department was not pleasant to deal with. I kept that other brand car for about 2 years and then went back to Hyundai and bought the Santa Fe. One of the primary reasons I did this was because of the service department. Recently, I took my car in for a strange anomaly. It would not shut all the way off and was only going to the ACC option on the ignition switch. I could not lock the car and it beeped at me when I walked away from it because I had the keys in my pocket. I took it in and Marty looked at it, grabbed a service tech to help us out, and had me out of there in 20 minutes with the car fixed. They had to take the shift lever apart, modify an arm (file off 2mm so it would seat properly and register in Park) and reassemble. It was amazing!!! I also very much enjoyed visiting with Marty while I waited. This guy is great.

From having knowledge of the car, geting me the correct car i wanted, instucting meet on the cars special features, to delivering my car full of gas and very clean. We have not had a great experience with the service and parts follow-through, however. The lack stems from poor communication between departments and then failure to contact us. We live about 60 miles away so it is imperative that expectations are met so that we are not wasting our time. Hi - Tom Kushnerick sold me my car, and I also worked with managers Nadine and Dave, Christina in finance and Dwight who was a visiting employee from Dallas. I had an exception experience from start to finish. Tom drove my car to Denver so I could take a look at it without having to go all the way to the Springs. I was really happy with the negotiation process, and with how quick and easy everything was. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional - and frankly they are just good people. When I picked up the car from being detailed, I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the work so Tom, Dave and Dwight went above and beyond to clean my car themselves. Tom spent over an hour on a Saturday making sure I was happy with the detail job. I would be lucky to buy every car from this team moving forward. Thanks!

My husband and I have been searching for a newer car to replace our Jeep Grand Cherokee. I did a little research and decided I wanted a Volkswagen GTI. After driving one and deciding that it was just a little to small for what we were wanting I chose to step up to a Jetta. I wanted a sporty Jetta and also was needing an automatic with a sunroof. Ben at Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hills had a Jetta that we test drove and as soon as we started driving it decided against the Jetta. Riley and Ben suggested we test drive a Hyundai Elantra GT. I never heard of the car and was a little unsure. We test drove the car and I fell completely in love with it. It was everything I was looking for and was in perfect condition. I want to say that Riley and Ben were phenomenal and we left very happy with our new car. They worked very hard to earn our business and we will be going back again when it is time to upgrade the next vehicle. Thank you Ben and Riley for your exceptional customer service. They weren't pushy at all, straight to the point with prices, great attitudes, friendly, and easy to work with. We really enjoyed working with Doris the sales rep, the manager Riley I believe his name is, and David. He was very fast, eficent, kid friendly, and got us a great interest rate. The crew that details the vehicles sucks though. There was soda spilt in the back seat still and on the walls of the car, looked like a soda blew up in the car. The dash was also fairly dirty with a filmy substance. If thus department was better, then I would definitely give 5 stars.

Great service overall but they fell short on car prep. Car was not clean inside and the windshield washer reservoir was completely empty. For a "new" car it had what I thought was pretty high mileage on it; 3500 miles! That amounts to 1/3rd of a normal car yearly mileage.

I went in to Phil Long Hyundai of Chapel Hills with a hard order to fill. You know, certain price, certain miles, certain type. Jessica and her team pulled through and found me an SUV with everything I was looking for and more, and kept it in the price range I could afford. Everyone was nice and bent over backward to get me in the vehicle I needed. Jessica stayed late after her shift to make sure the sale went smoothly. She showed me where I would go for service to my vehicle, who was the best person to talk to for any problems I may have in the future. I would highly recommend anyone to buy a vehicle here, it may take a week or two for them to find the perfect car for you, but totally worth it for the customer service of the whole team.

Hyundai is an excellent brand, and I can say from past experience, they do everything they can to satisfy their customers. I am currently on my second Tucson, and to get the features my first Tucson had, I had to upgrade to the Limited Edition. Overall, it was a good buy. 2 years newer, extremely low miles, and only $3,000 more than my 2014 Tucson AWD. Very little cost difference considering I got upgrades my 2014 didn't have.

Staff was great in that they allowed us to take our time, test drive several cars (Tuscon Limited, Santa Fe Sport, Santa Fe Sport 2.0T) and on extended test drives. They were able to match a Denver dealership's TrueCar price quote we received. Before making final decision I as able to talk to service department and inquire about some posts I have read on forums and get answers to my questions on the spot pertaining to the vehicle I was interested in. They all were very personable and friendly to deal with. I highly recommend them!!!!!

I give 1 star, only because there is no other option and in their defense, we did receive a product or service in the transaction, however difficult it may have been. Our experience with the sales department has been the worst experience we've ever had. We've had our Hyundai in to the service department and dealt with a very professional service advisor (will not mention his name with this negative review out of respect for him), and we thought we'd give the sales department a chance. It started with the harassing emails/texts from a sales woman (forget the name) after we brought our Hyundai in for service. Terrible tactics. Then against my best judgment, we visited the dealership. Asked for the woman who sent the unsolicited emails, she was busy, so Travis began helping us. At first he seemed okay, until time went on we found out how unprofessional he was. We were interested in two vehicles, Drove the first and it was okay, a Honda sells itself. The second vehicle was located at another Phil Long dealership. You would think, same ownership, things would be easy, well, not so much. They had the vehicle brought over for us to test drive. It was a used vehicle with high mileage so I understand everything that goes with that. Firstly, during the road test I heard a clunking noise from the engine compartment, Travis rudely told me it was a used car. Secondly, the next rude individual we had the displeasure of dealing with was the desk manager, he would not commit to an inspection of the vehicle for us before we purchased because if we decided not to buy for whatever reason, they would be out the cost of the inspection. How's that for customer service? The only decent service we received there was from one of the sales managers. He explained that due to our credit they would shop our package for the best deal, understandable. The next day we were told it was approved, but the payment was substantially more, then when my wife went in to sign, they surprised her and asked for a much higher down payment than we agreed and they never mentioned to before she arrived. More terrible tactics. We finally decided to go with the original vehicle we drove. My wife signed the finance package and the finance manager for some reason did not provide her with a copy of the paperwork. They told her they would mail, we still haven't received it. Very suspicious behavior. Why no paperwork at time of transaction? Leads me to believe that they are hiding something. My wife drove the vehicle home and discovered they did not clean the sales stickers off the inside of the windows before delivery and the tpms light was on. Keep in mind, the tpms light is considered a safety item by the NHTSA. Travis said he would pick the vehicle up from us at 8:30 am, my wife had to call him, he said he was in a meeting, and never called her to tell her. Nice communication. Two other things before I continue. When wife signed the finance paperwork, she requested information on an extended warranty, they did not provide and said someone would call. They did not. She also called the finance department several times with no response. Both my wife and I called, texted, and emailed Travis multiple times with no response. It wasn't until she contacted the GSM that he began responding to her. He to this day, has never responded to my multiple forms of communication. Terrible communication. Travis finally picked up the vehicle and they cleaned all but one sticker from the inside windows and checked the tire pressure. Tire pressure was good as we already knew. They told my wife they were not repairing the tpms light. It was not until my wife talked to the GSM did he offer to pay for the tpms light repair, and even then I had to go to the Honda dealer and pick up the part and a technician at my wife's work had to replace the part. Terrible customer service. My wife gave them the receipt for the part, they told her they were cutting us a check, still no check a few days later after we provided receipt. Terrible customer service. After my wife spoke to the GSM, only did she speak to someone from the finance department and they finally explained why there was no extended warranty offered at time of sale.

This past Saturday, we went to Phil Long Chapel Hills for a scheduled oil change. We started chatting and I was very impressed by the knowledge he had about every detail about this car. I loved the car based off what I read online, but Dave made me fall in love with it. My son and I ended up at this dealership when his Hyundai Azera acted up for the second day in a row while on a cross country trip. In the end, we traded in the bad Azera for a new Sonata, and were pleased to have met Dave Britton during the sales process. Overall, it was a positive experience dealing with Dave, and we'd recommend him and this dealership to others. What was especially good about Dave. Britton is that he was available outside of the normal business hours one would expect. He could be called/texted after the sale--at night and on weekends--for help, and we needed it with BlueLink. In the end, he couldn't solve the BlueLink problem, but he tried more than once, and remained available and in contact with us until it was solved.

I highly recommend the Phil Long Hyundai Chapel Hills dealership. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. There was no high pressure salesmanship present. They gave us the best price right away and we didn't spend hours with the back and forth with the salesman and general manager. No games here. Our salesman actually talked us into buying a lower priced model of the Santa Fe than we thought we needed. He explained all the bells and whistles and then actually called a few days later to see if we had questions. When he learned we were a little confused on a couple of the options he invited me back to the dealership and spent another hour with me going over more of the electronics in the vehicle. That is unheard of in this day and age. Kudos to Phil Long Hyundai. Excellent, Excellent is our rating. We will definitely purchase another vehicle from them!!!

I purchased the 2015 Sonata sport. It is a nice vehicle. Sales person was nice. After the sale was when everything went down hill. The car had a deep scrape on the back bumper left side. They said no problem to fix..The reapair guy comes in for a couple hrs on Fridays. I droped it off two weeks after purchase and they never called me back. Sat I called and no one knew what I was talking about. Monday I get a message that said theres a note to xall me, but they had no idea why the are calling me so call back. I told my husband I will not call them if they dont know why they are supposed to call me snd see how long they leave my car there collecting dust. So they did not call me. My husband finally drives me in, since he was driving me to work for four days , and they said they did see my car but it was not done correctly. Surprise. So they keep it another day. It looks better but the paint is off and you can tell. I am not taking it back. On 3rd week after my purchase I get acall from the finance company on my trade in. They said I am pastt due and I had to make a payment and late fee. They had not heard from Hyundai for a pay off or a title request. Of course it was Sat and I again had to leave messages. Finally Tuesday afternoon when again they did no call me back, I had to take my lunch time at work to call them again. Later they called and said they had taken care of it Monday. So after they got my message when they came in on Monday, they went in to the CU to take care of it , but still did not call me to let me know it had been done. Those are only a couple of the situations. But mostly due to the fact that they have absolutely no follow up or communication skills

From the moment we walked in the door our salesman, Dave Britton, treated us like family. Dave was the most attentive and genuine salesman we have ever dealt with. He helped us find the car that was right for us and listened closely to our needs/wants. Dave realized quickly they did not have the exact car that would make us happy on the lot. By the time we left the car had been found and plans made to get it the next day..... I was shocked as I expected at least a few days wait. Throughout the process Dave was quick to respond to our phone calls and messages and was proactivr in telling us how things were going. He even took pictures of the car when they got it to the dealership and text them to us (her had asked permission to text the day before). We enjoyed the experience so much that we will be looking for Dave for it next purchase in the best future. Even though our car is now bought and paid for (no financing for us) Dave still contacts us once in a while to see how things are going. We have come to think of him as a friend as well as a business partner. I used their web site to find the Elantra I was looking for back in April. I then called and spoke to Lisa who was going back and forth between the manager and myself trying to make a deal. I asked them to match a deal I was able to get in Arapahoe, CO. After a few days of going back and forth , Lisa said they could do my price OTD. I drove 40miles into town to purchase the car. When I got there they started negotiating again! I told them I can buy the car from them at my price or go North. The manager then started insulting my intelligence, and saying the dealer in Arapahoe can only give my those prices in certain Zip codes, he said They would charge me 8% tax, and that they would make me buy $1000 in accessories. He lied! I left and purchased my Elantra from the dealer up north at the price we negotiated over the phone!

They do not honor their own posted internet prices-don't expect to actually get that deal when you get there- they will have a million excuses why "you" don't qualify for it, such as its for military only, though the ad doesn't say that, and how you can't combine discounts and get posted low finance rates etc. They try to re-add in dealer fees when ad says price includes. Its just another scam from a dishonest dealership. They are crooks waiting to rip you off. They don't apparently care about customer service or making a sale or repeat business. The male sales manager we dealt with inside was greedy, rude and disrespectful. We walked, and I'm glad we did as we found a much better deal elsewhere and were treated with respect there. This dealership doesn't deserve one penny. Go elsewhere! Don't waste your time and money here.

Extremely poor customer service from the General Manager of the dealership, Dan Jonuska, who wouldn't even reply to an email or return a phone call, to the service manager, Jeff Brown, who was next to impossible to reach and unwilling to deal with problems with their service department. I had heard through the community that the Phil Long dealership had a reputation of poor customer service and they didn't disappoint!

Bought my 2012 towards the end of 2011. The workers are overall friendly. I have been having trouble with my car starting. First I was told nothing was wrong with my car, then when I had to be towed in I was told it wasn't the starter it was the battery. Funny that all my lights came on even though I was told I had a dead battery. Then when it happened again I was told it was my starter, even though a couple of months prior my starter was fine. I brought my car in on 29 Nov and had my starter changed. I have had this happen again to my car 10 times since 29 Nov. In the last three days, I have actually had my car not start. I have had to push my starter button about 15 times before it starts. I called Marty at Hyundai at 0730 and told him the whole story yet again. He said he would get right back to me and took my number down. I was hoping I would get to bring my car in and get a loaner so they could finally fix my car. At 1000 I called back and Marty immediatley transfer me to another rep. I had to tell my story yet again. By this time I was getting very frustrated. The rep kept telling me to calm down. If you had been trying to get your vehicle fixed for close to 8 months and really haven't been getting any help, you would be very frustrated. I was told to bring it on my lunch time and let them take a quick look at it. If you haven't been able to fix this problem in the four or five times I have brought it in what makes you think a quick look on my lunch hour will fix my car. Be careful when buying from this dealership. When looking at a vehicle I asked if the tires were new and I found out after I bought the vehicle they were not new. When dealing with Mr. Torres a sales manager on a price that we could agree on to make a purchase he came back with a higher amount after shaking on the previous price. Then Mr. Torres was working on the finance paperwork he tried to extend my payments another year and when I said that is not what we agreed on he just said to make a extra payment a year and I would not have to worry about the extra year. My window tint was torn when the sticker was removed and no one told me and I found it later damaged. When I brought this up they said they would take care of it and I did not know what that meant. I had to talk to a second sales manager before they scheduled an appointment to fix my tint. When I picked my car up from the service department after my tint was fixed they gave me my key and pointed in a general direction on where my car was parked. They owed me a check with our agreed purchase and I was to receive the check a week later. I called a week later and Mr. Torres said he would call me back but 5 hours later I drove into the dealership to find out where my check was. My wife went in the day my check was ready and 2 salesmen made discriminating comments to her when she was walking into the store and then leaving as well. I wrote a comment on the dealership site to get a message to the General Manager and heard nothing back 3 weeks later. I then called the corporate office and told her everything that had happened in my dealings with the dealership. She apologized and said someone would call me back. Mr. Torres called me 2 working days later and said he would call me back on working a deal to trade my vehicle back in. He did not call me back 4 days later before I went back in to see what was going on. I talked to Mr. Torres and we ran the numbers and since corporate told him to make a deal to appease my frustration with this dealership but did very little to do so. He was going to see if he had more room to play with and call me back. After no phone call I called back in 3 days later to see what the situation was. I finally got a call back and Mr. Torres and he had more room to play with but still was very little. I only wanted to trade my vehicle back in to get away from this Hyundai store due to the comments to my wife mainly. I guess since there have been other complaints against women they seem not to care since it is still going on. I am sure not all people have had a bad experience but I would watch your back and read word for word everything you sign and listen very careful on what they tell you. I will not deal with this dealership again or Phil Long for that matter.

My 2013 Elantra is great, but my experience with Phil Long has been far from great. I bought a new car in December, was promised the 10 year or 100,000 mile extended warranty and when I went back to sign all the paperwork I was told it would be an additional cost to get that warranty. I made the car salesman (Michael Erickson) come in and verify the inclusion of the extended warranty to Rod Anderson (finance director). Rod acted angry, but said he had to comply since his guy assured me, and they wanted my business.In February, I received an email congratulating me on my 2 year warranty. I immediately called to verify this was a mistake and was told that Michael Erickson and the other Mike I worked with had recently been let go. On top of that, I was received no information regarding my warranty. I left several messages with Rod (and heard nothing back) and even went in to Phil Long and nobody was available to speak with me. I again left messages and never heard back from anyone. I called 7 times, left 4 different messages and went in. Nothing has happened.I am a very dissatisfied costumer and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I will be leaving negative feedback on every dealer site and will be in contact with the BBB.

These people started off well but then Rod Anderson really stuck it to me. DO NOT buy the secure mark package. It is a total scam and will cost you $499. Rod will throw paperwork at you and ask you to sign. What he doesn't tell you is that the secure mark comes at a price. He tells you that it is a policy that will pay you if your car is stolen but he will not tell you that you have to pay for it. If he is scamming you here then where else? I would not buy another car from this dealership

The customer service was great, lots of big smiles, but that's usually the case when a woman walks into a service department. They brought the full recommendation of services list, but weren't pushy about it. Some of the ways in which it was delivered I didn't appreciate, but it was typical sales things, nothing uncalled for. The mechanic, Nick, was very helpful and not condescending, which was nice for a change. Mike, the service writer, was patient, very friendly, and when I had a problem, he dealt with it well. I gave lower stars for overall mainly because of some issues I had with Hyundai and not necessarily the dealership. I loved my Elantra immensely a few days ago, I love it quite a bit less today. The dealership did work with me on a couple of things and I appreciate that. I'm still wondering if maybe a little more could have been done, but it's hard to know. The price for what I had done seemed fair, but I could have easily walked out with a pretty tremendous bill as well. I may have gotten off a little easier because of an unusually long wait too. (My second visit was very quick.) The prices on most of the individual items didn't seem bad, it was just a long list. To be fair, that is partly my fault as well. Again, most of my gripe is not with the recommendations, but the way they are presented. I have never gone anywhere that isn't an issue though. It can be exhausting getting work done and always feeling like you need to figure out what's going on so you don't get overcharged or have unnecessary work done. If you are involved in what happens to your vehicle I think this could be a good place to go, however, if you don't want to have to wade through everything they toss at you, it might not be. Print off the online coupons before you go, they help. If you go regularly, I get the feeling they would treat you well here, if nothing else, because they must have high pressure for customer service. I'm not sure if I'll be testing that theory or not. I'll update my rating if I do!

I had been a longtime Toyota customer but my Sonata blew me away. The Sonata is such a better car than my old Camry and the price was unbeatable as well. In November of last year my wife and I went car window shopping. I convinced her to come with me to Phil Long Hyundai and take a look at their new Hyundai stock. While on the lot we met James Fowler. James is AWESOME!! We went on two test rides and he made our visit a great pleasure. Because of the Holidays my wife and I decided to hold off on a new car until after the New Year. James never pressured us and respected that we were still in the looking phase but kept in touch.Around Christmas time we were referred by a family friend to check out Honda as a possible new car buy. We had never owned a Honda before so we were curious. We went over to the local dealership and again went looking. Immediately upon pulling onto the car lot we were confronted with a row of dealers waiting to pounce. My wife whispered to me, "I don't know about this." We were shown several models and wrapped it up quickly without buying anything. My wife and I decided to re-visit Phil Long Hyundai of Chapel Hills again this January. We called James and he set up a time that we could meet with him. Our car needs had changed and we wanted to purchase two new cars instead of just one. Again, James was AWESOME!! He worked tirelessly to get us the cars we wanted. He made our car buying experience exceptional in every way. We bought two new cars, got a great rate and a great trade-in on our Sonata. I could spend all night describing individual attributes of James, but it is so much better to just go buy a car from him. It is because of James that we purchased our cars through Phil Long Hyundai. He is an exceptional young man who works tirelessly to ensure you have a platinum level car buying experience at an outstanding value. We are now dedicated Hyundai fans. My experience with Phil Long Hyundai was my first new car purchase experience. Overall, the actual car buying experience was pleasant as I was guided through the Hyundai products and allowed to come to my own conclusion as to what was best for me. There was slight pressure to up sale but nothing I would deem egregious. My complaints with the dealership come after I had selected my vehicle; the dealership tried to force a number of additional services on top of the car purchase. One of these items was life long oil changes, which I was assured could be fulfilled at any Phil Long location. That detail was very important to me as I live in Denver and would not be able to commute to Colorado Springs for oil changes. I have come to find that other Phil Long locations do not honor the life long oil changes. When I brought this up to the associate that assisted me, Betty Chen, she argued that she never made that claim. This stance was held dispute subsequent conversations with third parties who validated that the statement was made and paper work which states that any Phil Long would honor the oil changes. I have since take my compliant to the general manager and am waiting for a resolution. I believe that customer service does not stop once a vehicle is sold and assuming repeat business is the goal, the dealership and my sales person should have taken responsibility and offered a solution or apology.

The employees and owner are so kind, caring and understanding. I was in a terrible accident in a Hyundai Sonata (which saved my life) and every employee I had contact with we're genuinely concerned. They took the time to explain everything without treating me like many dealerships would, "oh she's a woman so let's take advantage of her" they were wonderful to deal with. My salesman Chuck was incredible! Very knowledgeable, willing to take his time and a great listener.I have dealt with many car dealers and this is by far the best experience I have had while purchasing a vehicle. My experience was excellent and quite a surprise for me. I went to Phil Long to look to lease a car and was so pleasantly surprised at how professional, friendly and knowledge the staff was. I had planned to continue trying other cars but Ben and Betty were so great I just knew I should lease my car from them. Having only dealt with Mercedes, BMW, etc sales staff only, I was amazed at how much better their service was. Ben did a terrific job and was completely thorough with everything. I will definitely be a long term customer.

My experience with Phil Long Hyundai and with the staff was absolutely hassle free and easy. Ben Ohman met all my needs with the Hyundai I had selected. My wife was unable to make it to the dealer so they let me take the car to her to check it out. Then once we agreed on the absolutely affordable pricing with excellent options, they let me know that the finance documents were ready to could have my wife come down to sign, we have an infant and toddler, so Richi made it fast and quick during the financing. Ben even introduced me to the service personnel and showed me around the dealership so that I felt at home. This staff works great togeather and allows for an easy transaction. If you are looking for a great car to buy the Hyundai Elantra is an excellent car and the Professional staff at Phil Longs is the best. Don't go anywhere else.

This was absolutely the best car buying experience we have every had. We specifically asked for Betty Chen, as she was recommended to us by Eric Wilson of Phil Long Ford. (We have visited with him about a Ford pickup, which we will still need at some point. However, we decided we first wanted to update our primary vehicle.) We did some research on-line and questioned a couple of Hyundai owners, and thought we would go that route. Since Eric had been so helpful, knowledgeable, and came across as being honest, we asked him who he would recommend we ask for at the Hyundai dealership. Without hesitation he said Betty Chen, saying that although he had not personally met her, he heard good things about her, that she was honest, not inclined to tell you something that was not right. Respecting Eric's opinion, that is exactly what we did, and we were extremely happy with the way she took care of us. She was not the least bit pushy. She seemed to zero in on what would meet our wants and needs. I think we took up a lot of her time, but she didn't show the least bit of bother over it. I realize that's her job, but still she made us feel she had all the time in the world to spend with us, taking the time to listen to COUNTLESS goofy stories we told, and also taking in very good stride all the teasing my husband likes to do. (I did tell her at one point that the more he teased someone, the more it meant he likes that person - ha!) Betty is just a natural people person, with a great sense of humor, able to give it right back to Jerry. She made us feel like we really had made a new friend, and I do believe she genuinely feels she HAS made a new friend when she sells a vehicle to some one. Of course WE feel like WE are her favorite customer, but in reality I'm sure she makes EVERYONE feel like that. :-) As an aside, as soon as we got back into Canon City, we drove straight to our daughter and son-in-law's house to "show them". Of course it was quite a surprise when they came out and saw we had bought a white Sonata, given the fact that in their garage is their own white Sonata... Their's is a 2012 (not hybrid), and they were pretty put out when they heard about everything our Sonata had that their's does not, our lifetime oil changes, AND the fact that on the way home our average fuel economy was as high as 58.4! They had bought their Sonata in Pueblo and after hearing how well we were treated at Phil Long Hyundai by Betty (as well as everyone else there), including Betty unselfishly taking a lot of time to explain/demonstrate all the fancy gadgets on our new car, Chris said, "Clearly, we went to the wrong dealership!" I told him it was not too late to correct that - ha!

First time buyers with Phil Long and was very pleasantly surprised. A friend had recommended them but our last 8 cars were bought from a different dealership but we took the drive and found a warm and professional dealership which offered a variety of vehicles and a great service center. We were treated with courtesy and respect. Our sales rep Andy was very knowledgeable and not pushy. He answered all of our questions and concerns. The buying experience was informative and we felt comfortable making a financial decision to buy a new vehicle. The financing was easy and the payments within our budget. I guess the biggest surprise was we did not remember the instructions on the headlights and of course left them on overnight. The next morning when I came out to a dead battery. Andy gladly came up to Glen Eagle and jumped the battery. We reviewed the vehicles differences and he even called to get the code for the resetting of the radio. That was great customer service to come to our house and make sure we were ok and understood the vehicle options completely. The Phil Long Chapel Hills Hyundai buying experience was the best car buying experience my wife and I have had in 30 years of car purchase milestones. Our salesperson, Betty Chen, as described in other reviews, is absolutely wonderful! The care and personal time and attention given to us from Betty exceeds all expectations we had from past purchases in other dealerships. Richi Carni, the sales and finance director, completed our paperwork, but gave us so much more to leave with then just signing our names on a contract. I truly believe this dealership has the best interest of the buyer in mind, which is contrary to how the public normally paints the auto sales industry.

My experience at Hyundai at Chapel Hills was incredible! Kenn Patton and his team are amazing and have set the bar very high for other dealerships. I came in with very low expectations of getting a car due to my lack of credit history. Larry began the process by explaining what kind of programs he could offer me and how he was not only going to get me into a vehicle but also set me onto the right path of building good credit. His honesty and understanding of my situation immediately made me feel I was in the right place. The saleswoman, Koyela, was sweet, kind, and full of so much sincerity, that I instantly liked her during our test drive. I have never met such a tiny woman with such a big heart! As much as I loved the Accent, my troubled credit was making it difficult for me to obtain such a reliable vehicle. Richi took it from here. I'm not sure how he talked the bank into helping me out or how he managed to add on all the warranties for me, but he is definitely someone I would always have go to bat for me. During this process, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who after learning of my situation, seemed to take a personal interest and kept the ball rolling in the right direction. I have heard countless horror stories of dealerships. Everyone impressed upon me the importance of being a ruthless negotiator and to stay rigid and cold while purchasing my first car. Unfortunately, I do not have that type of personality and can only be who I am. At Phil Long Hyundai of Chapel Hills, the people there treat you with respect, dignity, and truly care about their fellow humans. I am incredibly lucky to have met such wonderful people and to have the undeniably awesome experience. Kenn is doing something right and definitely knows how to build his team of great people. I shall recommend this place to everyone I know and will be a forever loyal customer of this one-of-a-kind dealership.

This dealership was absolutely the best dealership I've ever worked with in my life. They provided the absolute best customer service experience I could even imagine. There's no high pressure sales talks at all, and they were 100% knowledgeable with anything I asked about as well as getting me the answers quickly and professionally. The particular situation that I was in required them to work with me on financing as well as give me quite a bit of leeway with the date of my down payment, which was no issue at all for them and I honestly can say that this is the first time I've bought a car feeling like "a million dollars" when I left. James Fowler is easily the best salesman I've worked with, he is very laid-back, lets you have your space while still being available for Q&A. He absolutely lets YOU decide what YOU want and doesn't push you into anything that you don't want. He is very personable as well, the kind of person that you can shoot the breeze with as easily as buy a far from. Richi Carni and Rod Anderson on the finance team carried on the wonderful feeling that I had while talking with James, absolutely no high pressure talks at all, and they simply showed me what all my options were and then did their absolute best to make me feel comfortable with what I was buying. They succeeded completely, and as I said earlier I left the dealership in my new car feeling wonderful. When I walked in to the finance office, I told them exactly what I could afford and they crunched the numbers until I had exactly what I wanted. I cant say that there was a single thing that I would change about this dealership, they know how to take care of their customers, and I can say that when I'm in the market to replace my second car, Phil Long Hyundai of Chapel Hills will be stop number 1 on my list.

Last week I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Genesis from Phil Long Chapel Hills. James Fowler was my sales person and provided me with an outstanding buying experience. He worked with me for hours explaining the many features of the car and negotiating pricing options for the vehicle. The first day I informed him that I was not ready to buy just yet as I had some things to take care of regarding my job. He was very understanding and was not pushy in getting me to buy the car right away. I ended up buying the car with manual transmission which I had never driven before. On the day I bought the car, James came to the dealership on his day off to teach me the basics of driving a manual car. He spent nearly 4 hours assisting me with getting comfortable enough to drive it. He then drove my Kia, which I traded in, back to my hotel and helped me clean the car out before he took it and I was then left with my awesome new car.

I had a really excellent car buying experience. I first went to a Nissan dealer close by and they were incredibly pushy and intense, a lousy experience. Then I go to Phil Long Hyundai, and James Fowler was terrific. I don't like to buy immediately, and he was ok with that and suggested I take the car home for the night to think things over and see if I really enjoyed it, no charge. I really like that professional, no push type attitude. Then I came back the next day and bought the Sante Fe, which I am thoroughly enjoying. The ride is so smooth, and I am getting 28 mph on the highway, and 25 in the city, exceeding the specs! James is very knowledgeable yet not pushy, and he turns the car buying journey into an adventure instead of a grind. Both James and Richi Carni, the Sales Director, provided a fun and enjoyable process in buying a new car. Richi got great deal after great deal by leveraging his buying power on items such as my rate, length of services, and types of services. Great experience, good job guys, I recommend this to anyone who doesn't enjoy the intimidating and strong arm tactics of some dealers.

I have bought between my wife and I we have purchased seven new vehicles from Phil Long dealerships. James Fowler has by far set the highest standard in salesmanship I have ever experienced. We purchased two new Hyundais from Mr. Fowler and will be recommending him to all our retired and active military friends. As a Program Management Professional I am acutely aware of business processes and the only shortfall I noted is that Mr. Fowler is confined to only Hyundai sales. I was stressed out because my only vehicle was totalled in a accident, and my insurance wouldnt payfor the rental anymore. I needed two cars, in good condition but also inexspensive, and i needed them right away. Online searches didnt help me too much, but my friend recommended phil long of chapel hills for a few reasons. They have possibly the largest selection of cars in the springs, several locations, and they take excellent care of military members. I arrived at chapel hills at 5pm, got the cars i wanted in ten minutes, and the entire buying processes was done before 8pm. The staff was fast, caring, and friendly, and now my wife and i have two well serviced vehicles right at the time we needed them. Until im out of the military, and leave the area, all my car shopping will be done through phil long, hands down the best in the springs.

Working with Jessica was a pleasure as she was easy-going, knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive to my needs as a buyer. Likewise, going through the financing process was just as painless. Yet, when all was said and done, the only negative aspect of my experience with Phil Long Hyundai was the fact that the check engine light came on the day after I bought the car and then I had to deal with getting the vehicle back up to the service garage. This latter item is the main reason I did not score all 5s for my experience as it ended up taking over 2 weeks to get to my service appointment completed, but once this was accomplished, no other issues have emerged.

He was very knowledgeable of all the accessories in the model we test drove as well as of the brand itself. When I visited Phil Long Hyundai, James Fowler greeted me and began answering questions that I had. I was very limited on time that particular day, but I went back in several days later. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and we went for a test drive in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata with bluetooth, navigation, and ipod controls, which were the things I was looking for. The car I drove was a demo model and I was hoping to purchase the car for less than a new 2013 model. I told them how much I was able to afford, and after some negotiating, we didn't come to an agreement the first day. James called me back that evening and Larry Lucero called me back the next day to ask me to bring my husband in to drive the car and they believed they could get me the deal I wanted after giving me more on the trade for my other vehicle. We were able to come to an agreement on the price and we left Saturday evening with the Sonata I really wanted. Everyone was very friendly including Richi Carni in the finance department who was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone involved in our car purchase. Love the new car!

She was condescending and had NO customer service skills at all. Based on her attitude and and lack of customer service skills we drove to Denver to another Hyundai dealership and actually saved money AND got excellent customer service. Arrived at the dealership and was met by a sales consultant by the name of Jessica. We asked for Mikey (as he had sold us our 2009 Hyundai Accent) and were told that he was off. We asked if we could look around and she showed us a number of cars and answered questions for us ( knowing that we were Mikey's customer). I had a great experience buying my Hyundai Accent at Phil Long's. I'm a very analytical person, so when I started shopping for a small car, I did my research and narrowed it down to 3 dealerships. I then visited these dealerships multiple times so I could get a look at the car, test drive it, and get pricing information. At my first visit to Phil Longs, I met Betty Chen who showed me a couple of different cars and answered my questions. She was very friendly and not pushy, unlike my experience at another dealership I had visited. Some days later, another salesman, Richardo Pena, provided me with straight-forward pricing information. Like Betty, he wanted my business, but was not pushy. Later that same day, I worked with James Fowler who set up a final test drive and completed the deal. I am happy with the price for the Accent and I was very comfortable thoughout the purchasing process and attribute it to the friendliness and professionalism of the folks who work there. After the purchase, Raquel Woolsey explained the warranties to me and provided me the opportunity to get a discounted rate on an extended warranty. Again, this was a wonderful experience and everyone I worked with made it great...they earned my business.

I went in to look at Accents, not really sure if I was going to buy or not. James greeted me almost immediately, was very professional and kind during my two test drives and very professional during the sale of the car. Today we want to thank the staff, Kenn Patton, Richi Carni and James Fowler for the best experience we have ever had in buying a car. Kenn is the best example of running a well-oiled machine at Chapel Hills. Lowell and I knew we were going to be taken care of from the beginning. It's very apparent that honesty, customer service and long-term relationships are the backbone of Phil Long Hyandai of Chapel Hills because of who Kenn Patton is. These guys worked over-time to make us feel comfortable with the cars we were considering, and there was never any pressure to buy. James Fowler was very patient and worked hard to get to know us and inform us. Ritchie Carnie went overboard in explaining our warranties and scenarios that made us understand not only the car, but the service we could expect to receive. They never acted like they were in a hurry, and treated us like guests or friends coming over to spend the afternoon in their living room! I can't say enough about Kenn Patton. I hope the hours he spends with employees and people such as ourselves all pay off to bless him beyond comprehension. As business owners, we appreciate when we experience others hard at work to treat customers ethically, lovingly and fairly. I bought a Sonata in 2011 and had an amzing experience with the way I was treated. Richi helped my husband and I get what we wanted in the range we needed it. Over the past year Martyand Robert in service have been excellent to me every time I brought my "Olivia" in for her oil changes. They are courteous, know my name and just make me feel special. Unfortunately, on June 23rd I was in a terrible accident and I totalled my car. First and foremost, we are all ok. I had my 5 year old daughter with me and as you can imagine I was terrified she was injured. This car definitely did it's job in keeping us safe. My baby came out with a small burn from the seatbelt and absouletly nothing else. I have a small airbag burn on my arm, a slight sprain in wrist and the most pain is in my chest from the seatbelt and airbag. I assure you after seeing the car may people have commented that I shouldn't be alive or at a minimum are shocked I was not hurt much worse. They look at the pictures and see all the front end damage and are amazed at how nothing crushed in on the inside of the car. Like we were in a great big protective bubble! My "olivia" saved our lives. People laugh at me because once my husband arrived and took me to the hospital to get looked at, I didn't call the insurance company, I didn't call my parents,nope- I call Richi. I was so upset and already missed my car. From that second on I was in very good hands. Richi helped calm me down, told me to call the insurance company and to keep him in the loop. AS the days progressed Richi and Betty reached out to see how I was and to help us get started at loking for a new car. As you can imagine, I wanted my Sonata back, my pretty blue Sonata. We hit a couple of obstacles on the way. I thought we had Gap coverage throughinsurance and we didn't. Richi again stepped in and said "hey, you let me worry about this piece. I will take care of you. Just keepme updated as you here from your insurance company. In the mean time I am hunting down the car you want and talking to Security Service to see what can be done." Within 10 days of my accident Richi and Betty had found my angel. Had toget it delivered from north Denver, but had it for me and went way out of their way to help me from a finance perspective. My heart is happy, I am in my new car. Betty took the time to wlk me thorugh features I didn't understand, Richi helped me stay calm and did everything humanly possible to meet my expectations. You simple can not find this level of service any more. Most people see you as a way to make money and nothing else. This dealership and it's employees always make me feel special, unique and like I matter as a person first and as a business prospect last. I know this is only able tohappen because of Kenn. When someone like Kenn is in charge then this can heppen. He allows his employees to do things theright way and think outside of the box. I know none of this wouldn't have happened without him leading the way. He even had tried to come oin and meet me to make sure I was ok, that was awesome! Unfortunately we missed each other, but the fact that he took the time out of his schedule to think I was worth any of this, is simply amazing. I will never shop anywhere else for a car ever again. I am a Hyundai and Phil Long of Chapel Hills customer for life! I refer them to anyone who even mentions they are looking for a car! You simply will won't be let down, trust me! Kenn, thank you for inspiring and encouraging your employees to be good people, you definitely made a difference in my life! Richi, thank you for being patient and helping me to not panic in the face of uncertainity and fear. You rock! Betty- you have been so great to work with, I appreciate your patience and kindness in helping me get into the car I love! Hey Richi- can I ask what an invisible bra would cost? Wife and I had been talking about getting a larger car and had done our online homework. We had thought about a Sante Fe or a couple other brands that had cars similiar. We walked up to the Phil Long dealership and looked around the lot. Nice selection of colors and models to look at. The sales staff let us look without hounding us. When we went inside we were met warmly by Ben Ohman. He took the time to find out what was important to us and what we didnt want. He then took us to the lot and showed us the cars that met our desires. He didnt waste our time by trying to sell us up. I could tell he was VERY informed about the Hyundai line.During the test drive he let us find features on the Sante Fe, explained the benefits and then lead us through all the other goodies. After the drive we asked for a bit of hubby/wifey time to talk and Ben left to get us some water and gave us privacy. He was NOT the typical pushy salesman. We had decided to buy and we were guided through the processes painlessly and quickly. We were introduced to everyone at the dealership from the owner to the mechanic which would be the one to do our FREE oil changes for the life of our car. We met the K9 employee. We even got offered a piece of the Finance Manager's birthday Cake. LOLAll in all I can say we were treated VERY well and in the future we WILL go back.

Gary was fabulous. He Exceeded my expectations in every way. There were many ups and downs and bumps during our negotiation which to all day. Gary was always there To smooth things over. He went above and beyond anything that anyone would expect. 4 example of when I was thirsty he got me a drink. When my wife wanted to smoke outside Gary got her a chair. Needless to say This impressed me greatly. I cannot say enough about the management staff that works there also. Larry was a kindred spirit We got on famously. Richie broke his back trying to help me. I really appreciate all the hard work everyone put in. This car was for my wife and she loves it_. A few words about marcia brooks. I took my car in to have it looked at Based on some things we discovered during to purchase process. She was extremely helpful. And kept me informed every step of the way. If I had to some of my experience. I would say they treated me like family. And for me know higher compliment can be given.

A year ago we were going to buy our youngest daughter a car; and from past dealings, I knew that Ken would take care of us. We worked with Betty Chen & she tried to find the right car for us. She kept up her contact with me over the past year, so I gave her a call. We were buying our daughter Kim a Hummer H3 for he 21ST Birthday,so she set up the surprise. While she went nuts over her new car, I had been dealing with Richi Carni to get the financing done. He got us a better rate than we came in with and took the time to go through everything with Kim during delivery. He was the best and Betty was the best. I would not send anyone elsewhere or to anyone else. They've got loyal cutomers for life.

Mackee came and met us and that was very cool!!!Alex and Mikey were very helpful in answering all of our questions regarding the new 2012 Azera. Mikey went over all aspects of the car and its many options. All aspects of the deal were expained clearly to my wife and I by Mikey. He was very helpful during this transaction.Raquel explained all the options that were available to us and detailed the pros and cons to selecting or rejecting them. We ended up getting a number of the options not only based on our research prior to the deal but she helped us to finalize the decisions based on her answers to our questions. She also was very helpful in the transaction. To be honest, I knew I wanted this car as soon as I saw it advertized. It was a great coup for us that after we had test drove the new Azera that the one that I actually wanted (Midnight Blue with the tech package) was on the board for delivery. So it was really not hard for us to go ahead and place a deposit on the new car and simply wait for the delevery. I am happy to know that I am driving the FIRST 2012 Azera sold by this dealer in Colorado Springs and quite possibly the FIRST 2012 Azera to be sold in Colorado Springs. YEAH US!!!!

I feel like they are there to honestly answer our questions and serve our needs... they're not just trying to sell me a car. They are all so very friendly too. Very easy to chat with. I love that they are kid and dog friendly too! I feel very comfortable there and I trust them completely. I had been in the dealership with my daughter on the weekend and saw how great the people at Phil Long Hyundai treated her - they were terrific and helped her find the right car for her. While we were there I had spotted a brand new Elantra that I really liked. A few days later I called the Salesman (Ben) and he got everything rolling for me. I filled out the application online, Ben called me with a couple of questions, after I got off work I drove up to the Springs, signed the paperwork, and drove off with a brand new car!!!Everyone was great. The finance guy - Richie, did all he could to make things work out for me - payments, loan length, the whole thing. I would recommend Phil Long Hyundai to anyone and everyone!!! Give them a try. I found my experience to be above and beyond what I expected. I had actually gone to another dealer down the road, and found the salesman to be what appeared to me as aloof and disinterested in helping me. I had in my mind that I would like a Hyundai anyway, so I went to Phil Long Hyundai. While I ended up choosing a Honda, I was extremely happy with my whole car buying experience. As a first time buyer, I was not even completely sure what to expect. The salesman, Ben Ohman, was able to answer all of my questions adequately and with confidence, and was friednly as well. I was unsure that I would even qualify for a loan, as I really had no credit. I figured even if I did qualify, the rate would be pretty high. When I got into Richi Carni's office, I was flat out blown away by what he was able to do for me. I was so impressed, I told several people the next day how great my experience was a passed out business cards. My mom was so impressed, she traded in a 2010 vehicle she had just bought a few months ago for a brand new Hyundai four days later, and it was worth the hour drive back!! I got a free car payment with the promotion they had going for referring my mom!! I would recommend this place to anyone hands down with great enthusiasm and I have! Thank you soooo much Ben and Richi!!

I gave Phil Long a score of good only because of Richi Carni otherwise it would have been much worse. Richi turned what could have been a dead deal into a success because of his great attitude and his willingness to go above and beyond to rectify the situation. The problem started when the dealership, this is how we felt, sold a car we were trying to buy to another because of a difference in a trade in. at hours later then finally accepted our price but it was to late. We visited the dealership because of a promotion for ipad2's they were running and fully expected to get one when we bought our new car but we get a piece of paper to sign that states we have agreed to taking a $500 amount on our trade instead of the ipad and after 10 hours of being at the dealership with a sick wife, we just wanted to get home. After talking to Richi about our concerns, which the ipad was not the only one, he was very friendly and pulled out the stops to make us a satisfied customer. He songle handed turned what would have most definitely been my last visit to this dealership into a without a doubt would buy from this dealership again in the future. Thanks Richi for your hard work.

I first met the service team when my 2001 auto was towed it...they were not over solicits even though I was sure my old car was toast. When it became clear it was toast and I needed a car TODAY...I shopped on line ,but that looked as scary as breaking down in a busy intersection! I knew how I felt from the service team. Mike was called to help! Listened to budget and must haves. He found a perfect one and at no time did I ever feel pressed or not car "smart"...P.S. I'm so not car smart! So it began! They were wonderful...they even gave me trade in money...I really thought I would need to pay someone to haul it away! Then to the pesky money thing. Raquel has a "working" person mentally... interest rate is HUGE for me...may not know cars, but simple math I get! Bottom line...that dealership just earned my trust. as a side note...I would have not looked at Hyundai...til I drove it. It really feels solid.

Clint and Richi are the GREATEST! From the moment we walked until we drove away in our new vehicle,they treated us with the utmost respect. Clint worked diligently to find a car that met our needs, and he went out of his way to make sure we were absolutely satisfied. Richi and his fingers worked magic to get us the best possible deal on our loan, and he also included some extra immenities. Thanks Richi for giving us your signed photo of Randy Gradishar. That made a great night even better. All the way home, we talked about his career with the Broncos and all of the spectacular plays he made. We both agreed it was a darn shame that he is not in the Hall of Fame. We were so glad our daughters looked to him as a role model. Dennis and I will cherish his picture, and possibly show it off to our daughters to make them jealous.

Have you ever been in a spot when you needed a car immediately to replace an older one? How about needing to make the purchase and then have the vehicle sent accross the country to your college kid? Have you ever had to buy 2 cars a month apart from each other and worry about how it could possibly be financed? Well, let's put all three of those things together and that's my story. When I made a call to Richi Carni in desperation about needing to make a purchase for my college kid "today" and get it sent to her "asap", he said, "No problem. We'll figure it out." Betty Chen was put on duty and set up a time for my husband and I to meet her at the expo center. Richi had told her what type of vehicle we were looking for: safety important, AWD important, used and in good shape. When we arrived, we did a test drive on a Santa Fe and knew it was the car for our girl. The price was a bit higher than we expected, but Richi did "MAGIC" and we were not only financed, but everything about the deal was exceptional; beautiful SUV, perfect financing, a way to get it to her ASAP and payments we could afford. Only Richi could figure all of that out!In my 30 years of purchasing cars, I have NEVER gone back to the same dealer, but Chapel Hills Hyundai has earned our trust! This was our second visit in less than 45 days. They have the best employees; smiles, no pressure, in addition to clean and comfortable waiting areas, and they really make you feel like they are 'on your side'. They understand what you are asking for and you walk out knowing they have your back!Thank you, Richi, Betty & Raquel for "going to bat" for our family. We appreciate everything you have done for us and we'll be back when I need a car! Those kids of ours got the first two, but you'll have our business for the next two, at least!P.S. They let you bring dogs inside, too! Who does that!? Nobody but the best!

Richi cheated me out of $2202 when he included a service contract in my sales contract which I did not realize and was not asked about and when I went back to talk to him about it he was very condesending and rude. Tell me that I had to keep it and that I should pay attention to what I sign. I assumed that the paper and the deal which Clint Brown and I had worked out was on the paperwork which Richi typed up--it should not have include an extended service contract of $2202. That may not be allot of money to Mr. Carni, but it certainly is to me. I have so far not been able to find anyone at that dealership to help me with.

The employees that worked with my wife and I is a credit to the organization. We approached the dealership expecting a high pressure sale pitch, instead we were greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. They listened to us as we outlined our requirement and worked deligently to fulfill our needs. When all was said and done we departed the area with the car that I purchased for my wife as a Christmas present and with several new found friends. Kudos to Betty, Rick and Raquel for attending to our needs and enduring hours of questions without tiring and displaying an ounce of frustation. I would like to a give special hug to their lovely English bull dog that welcomed us and kept our spirits high while locating the perfect vehicle.

Recently getting money and a new permit,I was looking for a good used car that would last me about 5 years. My parents had just bought a car from Phil Long Hyundai this past summer and they love it. They recommended me to ask Betty Chen, they said she was very knowledgeable and would help me get the best price on a used car. Sure enough within 2 days she had found me a car and I loved it. It was everything I wanted and needed to start college. She answered all my questions and concerns and was very helpful. After coming to a deal on the price and extras, she directed me to Richi. He was so helpful and knew about everything he was talking about in very deep depth. I could sincerely tell that he wanted to help me get the best possible deal. He also threw in some helpful advice about driving and life skills. Not what you come to expect in a finance manger,but it was definitely worth listening to and very helpful. When I left the dealership I was amazed at how they treated me very well and I felt like they were always going to be there when I needed help with something. For people looking for used or even new cars, I would strongly recommend this dealer, along with these two wonderful people who helped pick out my very first car.

Betty Chen was our sales representative during our purchase of a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. We decided to go with the Santa Fe after visiting many different dealers, including Ford, Nissan, and Subaru because of the quality of the product we recieved for the amount of money we wanted to spend. I cautiously reached out to Phil Long Hyundai as my previous car buying experiences were always traumatic. Sean contacted me quickly after I submitted an online request and offered to assist in my search. Memories of pushy, over-bearing, women-intimidating, 8 hour shopping days and the sales manager sitting on a raised platform came rushing into my mind. I took a breath and shared that I was comparing a Sonata with a Chrysler but wanted more information. Sean immediately sent information via e-mail. Over the next few days Sean checked in with me but was neither pushy nor intrusive. He just wanted me to know he was there if I had more questions. Around day 3 I sent an e-mail to Sean stating something to the effect of: Just let me pick out the car and you can bring it to me that way I can avoid all of the hassles. Well, surprising to me, Sean offered to work for me and if that is how I wanted the car experience to be, then that was his goal. He softened my heart. He extended the e-mail conversation to relay he was engaging his best sales person to help pick out the perfect car. Betty Chen called me within the hour and e-mailed me a photo plus details regarding a 2012 silver Sonata. I responded it was awesome but could she find one in white? Within a few minutes, a shimmering white Sonata was appearing in my mailbox. We discussed the details and I promised to visit the dealership after work on day 3. When I arrived, I was greeted with a big hug and was immediately taken to see my new car safely tucked under the canopy. Sean arrived to the visitors area and greeted me with a big hello and handshake then offered me something to drink and my fears faded quickly. Betty was very prepared for my arrival and was incredible. She made every effort to make me at home without being pretentious or fake. She was honest, kind, warm and genuine. We discussed many things but I had an appointment to run to. That forced her to cover a lot of information in a short amount of time. She quickly had me registered for the Bow-Wow club (or Dog-House club (smile) customer referral club), had my new Blue Link configured and ready to go and an appointment set with Richi for the next day. Everything was like silk; smooth, elegant and awesome.As I looked around I did not see any sales manager poised in the high intimidation tower. Instead, I saw a comfortable, almost homey atmosphere where sales agents were greeting, chatting and talking with customers. The coffee was fresh and the water was cold. The sales staff were comfortably dressed and none were lurking in the parking lot ready to pounce.The next day I was picked up at work, given a ride to the dealership to sign the finance paperwork and take home my new car. The finance appointment was right on time (aka, no waiting)and the information was complete. All the while Betty was getting my car dusted off and ready to give me a detailed tutorial of the features on the new Sonata. She was waiting on me (again, no waiting) and off we went. I was on my way in less than 2 hours. Well, in fact, I was back to work in less that 2 hours, so probably spent perhaps 90 mins total at the dealership. The staff valued my time and it showed. I am very greatful for their prompt attention to my needs and respectful of my busy work schedule. So, would I recommend Phil Long Hyundai? Absolutely! The deal was great, the atmosphere was not intimidating, the staff were incredible (Thank you Betty, Sean, Raquel and Richi!!) and oh, yeah, the car ROCKS!

We purchased a new 2012 Hyundai Tucson this week from PHil Long Chapel Hills. We had been searching and researching cars for a couple of weeks and once we found what we wanted it was a pleasure to work with this staff. Betty was patient and extremely detailed in answering all of our questions and called us the following day to schedule another appointment. Richi made the finance process entertaining (which we didn't know was even possible! LOL!) and took a lot of time to make sure that we knew every finance option available to us and provided us with a variety of contacts in case we need them. Both staff members provided us with personal information about their lives and interests to help us feel connected and allowed a very open line of communication. Richi even offered us Airforce or sporting event tickets for future events. We love our new car and are very excited, however, we feel most grateful that we have a handful of contacts that we feel comfortable calling if we have questions, need help, or feel lost. - Thank you for that! Ricardo & the $ team worked overtime to meet our budget needs. Their friendlyness & committment to customer service is why this is the third car I have $ from them since 2004. Since we were there during lunch they even provided my wife & I Poppeyes Chicken while we waited. Just under 4 hours from thetime we walked in to the time we drove off the lot with our 2012 Sonata. It is a privledge to do buisness with a company that puts the customer first. Richi even threw in dinner for two at SaltGrass Steak House since this was our 3rd car purchase from Phil Long of Chapel Hills. Richi we'll be back when we look for number 4!!! With less than great credit and a tight budget, Betty and Rich came to the rescue to help us find EXACTLY what we were looking for at a much lower payment than we were prepared for. My 2004 Ford Ranger is a perfect truck and this dealership was absolutely awesome. I would highly recommend Betty and Rick to anyone who was looking for a new or used vehicle. The follow up service is amazing as well. Do yourself a favor and go see them!

I purchased a new Hyundai Accent in early 2008. The folks there were very friendly and worked really hard to make my purchase as simple as possible. In 2011 my car was totaled by another driver. Insurance covered the majority of the payoff for my car but I still had a deficiency due. Ricci helped me gather the paperwork needed to file the GAP insurance (more than once). As it turned out he and Hyundai went to bat for me with the underwriter of the GAP insurance and succeeded it getting my deficiency paid. I really appreciate the caring they showed me and the tenacity they employed to help me out.

This dealership is dishonest and uses hard sell tactics. I put a deposit on a car to hold it for 3 days and on the third day I found out that the manager sold it to someone else without contacting me. When I showed up to buy it I had to demand a refund on my deposit. I made the mistake of taking their word and not having a deposit agreement in writing. Also, their dealership handling fees are $180 more than the Hyundai dealerships in Denver. Hard sell tactics: The manager claimed that he had no room to negotiate on the extras because he was handcuffed by the service department inside his dealership - he told me that because they are independantly owned, there was no option to refuse the "extras" like $100 for a pinstripe and $400 for a clear bra. This dealership gets a lot of customer traffic due to their location and because of that, they don't care about serving the customer. They have an attitude that they will find some other schmoe right behind you to sell it to if you don't agree to their demands. Do yourself a favor and check out any of the Hyundai dealers in Denver - I eventually bought from Arapahoe Hyundai. They have a much better selection, they don't try to hard sell you a bunch of extra junk, and they sell 3x as many Hyundais each year because they have better prices and customer service. Some people have asked why I didn't demand that Phil Long get my car if I had a deposit on it. I considered that, but doing business with someone dishonest is not an option for me.

I purchased a new 2009 Azera in 2010. The dealership was very aggressive with discounts and I felt like I received a good deal. After the sale, I noticed stains on the wheels caused by who knows what. Ken Patton got personally involved and all 4 wheels were replaced at no cost to me. At the end of the day, I'm a satisfied customer. I'll buy another car from them.

Bought a new Hyundai and they said three times they would fix their error on the bill of sale. I have two bills of sale one shows 3692 miles and the other the correct 545 but the DMV has 3693 as they will not change it for me the dealership has to. Kenn Patton seems only interested in $$$ so have not heard from him only Carolyn his personal assistant. Don wolf the sales person said it is no big deal and Sonny just does not care. I have bought 2 other cars from the Ford dealer in Motor City with an excellent experience. I never took advantage of the free oil changes and feel I have a new used vehicle, it is sad to not have that new car feeling as I have before. The vehicle has also had five failures too. This dealership is a prime example of why there is distrust for car dealers.

My experience with this car dealership was the worst experience I have had. They only gave me $1000 for my civic. They wouldn't let me and my husband discuss the vehicle sale. They were very hostile in their tone and made us feel like bad people. we had an agreement w/the finance guy on when the down payment was due we were like ok cool that gives us 3 paychecks to come up w/it. in 2 weeks the dealership shut off the vehicle (lo jack) and when we called about it they screamed at us for not coming in that day to putt down $1500. So we had to scramble to get them the cash and after we did we were broke. No money for food orgas. When we got there we told them this wasnt the agreement. they said the guy that made the deal with us no longer works there nd they've been having problems with him. So they went on to tell us that they need another $1000 in a week. We told them theres no way we can come up with that. in our contract it said we have 30days to return the car and all we had to pay would be the cancellation fee. so we told them we want our car back. we dont want their car. they said theres no way they will give us the car back. at the time i didnt see why they wouldnt give us back out=r car so we wouldnt do business with the. (they already sold the vehicle without the title) so after a while they came back and said ok we'll give you until this day but it still vroke us. we're living off of top ramon and water. and on top of thst we havent been able to give them the title to the civic because thats out in california with the dmv. from thebegining we told them we dont want to deal with them because we wouldnt be able to get the title for a couple of months.California dmv is so behind. they said they knew this and to just give them the title aas soon as we could. we go in there to give them the last of the down payment and they yell at us because we havent given them the title.we explained it to them that we already petitioned for it and it will get here in a couple weeks. they said they could only give us a week because they sold the vehicle to a guy whos driving it around with no title. i thought you couldnt sell a vehicle without the title. and its not our fault they sold it like that. they went on to tell us that we basically sold them a stolen vehicle cuz we dont have the title. i was thinking isnt that what you guys did cuz they dont have the title to the vehicle they sold. anyways if we dont give them the title onfriday we have to give them an extra $1000 or they take the vehicle they sold to us and they also keep our car we traded in. everyyone that i have talked to about this says it doesnt sound right. so i will never go to this dealer and i would never recomend them to anyone. they are bad people.
