I brought my Optima in to replace the clock spring. After taking apart the steering column the mechanic realized I had purchased the wrong part. They put it back together and i ordered the correct part through the dealership. On driving home I realized that the cruise control no longer worked and neither did the horn. Both of these worked when I arrived at the dealer. I called the next morning and talked with a rep who told me it was no big deal and not to worry about it. I said that it was a big deal because it meant that the mechanic either didn't replace my old clock spring or didn't connect it because he wanted to save time upon installing the new one a few days later. The rep told me that he wouldn't being it in to fix it just to redo it a day or two later. The next morning, to my surprise, the steering column radio volume and channel changing was also non-operational. I called the general manager and left a message detailing my experience and that I felt the mechanics could have at least alerted me to the fact that my cruise control, horn and radio controls wouldn't work. He never called back. Isn't the horn a safety device? Obvious corner cutting here. My car shouldn't be worse off than when I brought it in and if something was going to be unavoidable I should have been told rather than left to discover it on my own.

We just purchased a 2015 Kia Soul and our experience was a most positive one. Usually, we liken car buying to having a root canal, but we were delighted at our experience with Cottonwood Kia, Our salesperson, Moe, was very approachable and likeable. He was not pushy nor overbearing. He was nearby in case we had questions, but he allowed us space to talk over our options and make our decision in peace. Everyone else we met were friendly and personable as well. Staff members who were not directly involved in our purchase stopped to chat with us while we were waiting. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

I really like the service that Cottonwood Kia provides me every time I take my car in for an oil change. When I call to make an appointment even if it's last minute the staff always gets me in. I've never waited longer than 15 20 minutes. The reps never try to sale me extra services. One time I took my car in and the mechanic or whoever noticed that I had a small crack on my visor mirror and replaced it completely free.

They advised me get into a used vehicle to build my credit and that I would SOON be in a Kia Soul. September 2014 I bought a 2015 KIA SOUL with 18 miles and got the best interest rate ever. Eddie and Brian were wonderful. I didn't have to make an appointment and they just asked me to bring my vehicle in. When I arrived I was greeted by Eddie and I informed him of what my vehicle needed. I just want to know why Discount Tire company knew more about my car then the dealer did? It was never disclosed to me when I bought my Kia that the alignment needed to be adjusted every 10,000 miles. I don't even recall that being in the user's manual either. I take my car to the dealer every 5000 miles to get the oil changed and they are supposed to do an expection as well, like look at the tires and fluids and such. My back tires were so worn down, I am guessing because of the alignment problem, that this had to have been going on for awhile and the service people never mentioned it to me once. Yes, they are always friendly and courtious at Kia, but some truth and disclosure or advice would go an extra mile. When I bought a Ford awile back, they actually had a free class teaching you all about your vehicle.

So far ac works, but I keep having to go in for repairs on air conditioner. This is the sixth time I've taking it in since I bought the car. Bought car in July 2011, so I'm not to happy on having to repeatedly take it in for the ac. I'm hoping its fix this time for good. I don't want my warranty to run out, and I get the same problem, and you guys try to charge me for something that is a repeated problem. But I do think you have a great staff. They are friendly and helpful.

The car is absolutely beautiful (even has two moon roofs)! I was just passing the time on a Sunday afternoon, and spotted the car (not even unwrapped yet from the transport truck) and just asked some questions to the highly friendly and knowledgeable salesman on duty at the time, and then left. I couldn't get my kind off that car, and the lack of PRESSURE - loved it and called saying I wanted it!

This is the first time while owning this car that I was treated respectfully. Since buying this car ( I ordered it from Georgia) I have had issues that I would bring up, but get ignored. Eventually each issue became a recall. So when is the transmition going to be looked at? I'm tired of the bucking when putting it into reverse.

I went to buy a 2014 optima and had the mis-fortune of dealing with saleman named Dice. Dice was horrible. I bnought a kia from the other dealrship and had excellent service but this tim i didnt feel like driving across town. What a kmisatke that was. i did buy the car from Dice but would not recommend him to anybody.

Dice is the worse salesman ever. i bought a car from garcia kia and knowing this dealership was also garcia owned i thought i would get the same quality service. Boy was i wrong. Dice told me the 2014 optima i bougfht would go 12,000 miles between oil changes and feed me line after line. i was too lazy to drive across town so i bought from him. Big mistake.

Marshall Maloy is a pleasant professional employee. He always meets me with a smile, and ends the car service by saying goodbye, with a smile. I am still under warranty, but after my warranty expires I will still go there. Let me give you a couple examples as to why. The icon for low air tire pressure came on and I went to the Cottonwood Kia car service. They filled the tire back up. The next day it showed low air tire pressure, again, I took it back, they checked it, and I had a nail in my tire. They repaired the tire..no charge. When I couldn't figure out how to set my bluetooth I went to Cottonwood Kia car service, and they helped me. They really care, they want folks to be satisfied with the services they receive, and they do it with a smile.

It was so easy to make an appointment and their customer service is beyond excellent! They are so respectful and I was very happy that they could squeeze me in on a Saturday! When I brought my vehicle in I was a little late because of my sick dog but I was told that they would still try to fit me in and they did. Within about 15 minutes they changed my oil and rotated my tires. I have never been this satisfied with a service department! They also made sure everything on my vehicle was inspected and showed me what I may need in the future. I'm so happy I bought a vehicle from them!

I have dealt with numerous dealerships over the last 20 years and none have come close to the excellent service provided by Cottonwood Kia. The reason for this visit was - the window regulator on our Optima broke on a Saturday afternoon. We rushed over to the dealership only to find the service department was closed. The salesman we bought the car from was there and we explained to him that we could not roll up the window and were concerned about security. He went to the sales manager with our problem and returned with a set of keys to a car off the lot. We pulled our car into the shop, signed a couple of documents and we were off. I was leaving Albuquerque on my back home to San Antonio when my "check engine" light came on, and the engine was not running right. When I arrived at Kia, Marshall Maloy took me right in. I was fearing it would be an all day ordeal, but they had me finished within 3 hours. In addition to the engine problem, they also fixed two "campaigns" that Kia had sent out for my vehicle! Excellent customer service!

On with 31000 miles being a 2009 KIA van has it since working well. will not be able to buy another one here as I am moving to North Carolina(Ft Bragg) in early 2015 but will get another van in a few years. Owned only a Korean made car since 1997 as I served in Korea for 8 years on the DMZ so buying a Korean car brings back great old times. I was a one of 5 US soldier that was a member to find and work on the break thru of the 3rd North Korean Tunnel in Oct 1978. So I will always buy a Korean car!!!!!

Brought in car to checkup on recommendation made by another service center. Car was looked at quickly and honest feedback was given as to car status by car technician and service personnel. Given opportunity to examine car up close and provided with areas to look out for if the problems becomes worse.

We were treated very nice & we really appreciate it. I wish your receipt statement indicated all the work that was completed. It leaves the customer wondering what work was actually completed. I sure don't understand why all the work can't be indicated on the receipt. Never saw that happen before. You could provide free coffee/water/hot chocolate & a free car wash or a coupon for one.

The switch recall service was quick and my vehicle was driven with care and attention to ensuring the techs did not cause damage or get it dirty. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. We noticed the "Check Engine" light was illuminated on the instrument panel. I immediately contacted Cottonwood Kia and spoke to Marshall who gave me a service appointment for the earliest possible available date. I brought the car in at the appointed time and described some of the "symptoms" we were experiencing around the time we noticed the Check Engine light. Marshall was extremely helpful in going thru each of the issues and assured me his Tech would find the cause of each problem. He also informed me of the exact cost associated with the Diagnostic Service and that he would contact me prior to proceeding with any additional services. Marshal called an hour or so later to advise me of the problems the Tech had found along with the approximate time and costs for both parts and labor needed to complete the repairs. Other than a slight mix up with my contact phone number, we were ultimately notified that the service was completed on time and at the price previously discussed. Marshall was even able to provide my wife and I shuttle service to and from the Cottonwood Mall while our vehicle was being serviced. Finally, Marshall was able to outline some additional services our vehicle requires in the very near future along with an estimate of the cost and time required to complete those services. Based on this most recent experience, I look forward to having my car serviced at Cottonwood Kia in future and to working with their service professionals like Mr. Maloy. Marshall was cordial and friendly. Time waiting while service was being done was acceptable. Previously, car had always been serviced by Horne Kia in Gilbert, AZ which included tire rotation in the same oil change price charge. This dealer had an additional charge. Now that I am in NM I will do tire rotations at Discount Tire where there is no charge.

I found Cottonwood Kia in Albuquerque online while looking for a quality used car. They had exactly what I was looking for. A clean, Affordable low mileage vehicle with hassle and haggle free buying. I live in El Paso Texas and Vanessa, the internet sales consultant completed the pre-approval credit application over the phone in less than 5 minutes. Paul, The financing manager had me approved for a loan in less than 30 minutes. I made the 4 and a half hour commute to the dealership and was greeted with excellent customer service. I was done with the entire process and driving my new car off the lot in less than an hour and a half. Wow! By far, the best car buying experience I've ever encountered. They showed me an accurate credit score. Trust me, I checked it before I went in to the dealership. The certified inspection documents and all CARFAX information on the vehicle was willingly provided. These guys are honest!

We have had major problems where due to a problem with service, our engine had to be replaced. The dealership in Phoenix and this dealership, worked together to make things right. Mistakes are made, but no mistake was made in the handling of the situation. Kudos to the Service Manager on both end. We continue to appreciate the great service Dave Klimowictz provides us when we bring our car in for regular maintenance! Do wish you had later evening hours and weekend hours for your service department.

The cars are inexpensive because they are cheaply made. The engineering behind them appears to be state of the art, but my car started having electrical issues from the day I bought it; with a brake warning light coming on for no apparent reason. The service department is so lacking in diagnostic skills that they couldn't determine what is causing my car to intermittently fail to start, so they are returning it to me broken; to drive when it feels like starting. KIA motors is now trying to blame the failure to start on an auto accident that happened months previously, and didn't involve any electrical components except a cracked tail lens. In fact, the failure to start issue didn't start (no pun intended) until Cottonwood KIA replaced the front wire harness in an attempt to repair the brake warning light issue. Stay far away from this dealership and KIA motors. Spend the extra couple thousand and get a Honda or Toyota; it will be worth it in the long run.

My experience was great in all aspects! I wasn't able to make it to my first appointment and Matt was able to get me in a few days late. Everyone was nice, effective, and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It's nice to have my salesman from back in February recognize me and call me by name in November. (Vernon)I like how the service techs show you exactly what they did and what you need to be concerned about (or what you DON'T need to worry about).

I was extremely happy with my experience at Kia. I had a unique situation in purchasing a new vehicle and the dealership went above and beyond to help me out. I would whole heartly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle. They were not honest about anything. Asked them about financing through our credit union which they said was denied, turned out they never even checked with our CU, told that the 2000 charge was a " handling fee" when it was actually an extended warranty we did not want, lost our request for an MSRP sticker ad welad our paperwork. Did not tell is and we had to track them down after 5 weeks of runaround. Terrible integrity and business ethic.

I am the original owner of a 2008 KIA Spectra Ex and I've never had a problem with it, UNTIL we were on our annual trip from Dallas, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico prior to the Memorial Day weekend. After stopping in Childress, Texas, we got back into the car and it would not turn over and all the electrical was dead. After receiving a jump start, we purchased a new battery and continued on our way to Santa Fe.After our arrival in Santa Fe, at the suggestion of a friend, we took the car to a local mechanic who diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. Since my car is less than 5 years old and only has 44,100 miles, and is still under warranty, I immediately called the local KIA dealership in Santa Fe to see if I could bring the car in on Friday, May 25. I was told that they had no alternator in stock, and that the soonest they would be able to fix my car would be Thursday, May 31st. Given that we were due to return to Dallas on Wednesday, May 30th, it was not an option for us to wait.I called Cottonwood KIA in Albuquerque to see if they could help me out with the alternator. When I called, I spoke with Tony Brasher, who could not have been more helpful. After listening to my situation, Tony informed me that while they did not have the alternator for my car in stock, he could have one overnighted for installation on Tuesday (the dealership was closed on Monday for Memorial Day). Additionally, Tony suggested I call the KIA roadside assistance line so that I could take advantage of the KIA "trip interruption" policy. Given that I was more than 150 miles from home, and that I was on vacation and would need a rental car, I could take advantage of the fact that KIA will reimburse me for the cost of a rental car and/or the cost of a hotel room. This was information that the Santa Fe dealership did not give me, and again, the Santa Fe dealership did NOT seem to want to help me out with my mechanical issue. After speaking with Tony and being impressed with his willingness to help us out with my ailing car, we took off for Albuquerque and Tony and his mechanic fit us into their busy schedule late on a Friday afternoon before a big holiday. Not only did Tony get us immediately taken care of, he hooked us up with a rental car from Enterprise Rental located right next door to Cottonwood KIA. Due to their relationship with Enterprise, I was able to rent a car for #30 a day! And again, let me stress, KIA will reimburse me for the cost of the rental car as part of their "trip interruptance" policy.It is now Tuesday, May 29th, and I received a call from Tony at 10:30 THIS MORNING to tell me that my car is now ready. Tony wanted to be sure that I had my car in a timely fashion because he knew we needed to drive back to Texas tomorrow. Not only did they replace the alternator, but they discovered an open circuit that was creating havoc and they took care of that too. To SUM: This is by far the best customer service that I have EVER received from ANY car dealership. When I am finally able to move back to New Mexico, I hope to continue doing business with Cottonwood KIA, whether it's to continue service on my little Spectra, or to purchase a new KIA. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I highly recommend this dealership because as a first time new car buyer, I went into this process terrified of the "horror stories" people had given me, but thankfully, with Garcia Kia, I had a very positive experience, with a helpful salesman. I was given time to think about my decision, and the folks at Kia even quickly responded to my email questions at 7am to clarify my decision further! Overall the purchase of the SOUL was a pleasant experience.Michael was very low pressure, knowlegeable and quick to answer questions about the car, and just seemed like a 'good guy'.James gave me a fair price for my trade, and agreed to a reasonable price for the SOUL.Enron was effecient, expnained things as we filled out the paperwork, and was pretty funny.My only two wishes would be that the SOUL had a little more power, and that the whole purchase experience would take two hours tops.
