Car serviced today; oil change and tire rotation. Service was extraordinary and a detailed list of items checked with ratings provided. Cost was very fair and service supervisor was very well informed, courteous and thoughtful. I will return again and again and I drive a Lexus.

I've always read the Yelp reviews and trusted, and appreciated the candor of the people who took the time to write them. This however is my 1st. I drove down from Baltimore after working 12hrs, with the belief that it would be a pleasurable experience. My sales rep(I'll give him a slight pass, and won't divulge his name) I generally feel was a pleasant individual. However after negotiating the price he asked if I could leave a few $hundred dollar with him in good faith to show that I was serious about my interest, so I did. Fast forward to the fact that it's now been a week and a half of "making constant phone calls and leaving unreturned messages, which oddly...suddenly I can no longer seem to get someone on the phone. In addition, the 2 gentleman who extended their phone#s to me, that sought to lend a hand while I was there, to help with the transaction have also not return my phone calls. The times in which I am able to speak with someone, I receive the same seemingly empathetic...but pathetic response of, "Sure we understand, and no Sir no one is trying to take your money". To which my reply is "PUT YOURSELF IN MY POSITION, YOU'VE WORKED 12HRS, THEN DROVE FOR 2HRS, NEGOTIATED WITH SOMEONE YOU'VE ONLY KNOWN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, AND TAKING THEIR WORD IN GOOD FAITH, YOU'VE GIVEN THEM A FEW $100 DOLLARS IN THE HOPES OF GOOD BUSINESS. HOWEVER ALMOST 2WEEKS LATER YOUR STILL WITHOUT ACCESS TO YOUR OWN MONEY FOR A CAR YOU DON'T HAVE!!!!!!!. "WITHOUT A DOUBT I WILL NEVER COME BACK, AND BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANOTHER LIVING INDIVIDUAL.

Very bad service! Salesman told me someone was coming to view the truck that had my interest in the morning so I need to decide now. I really liked the truck so I gave my info., he ran my credit, he said I was approved and that he would call me right back with the details of my loan. After 4 hours he called me back and informed me that his colleague had sold the truck to someone else. I find it hard to believe that he had no knowledge that someone else was in the dealership attempting to purchase the same vehicle. That's why he took so long to call back! If I'm approved then the vehicle should no longer be for sale, OR if someone else is in the process of purchasing the vehicle, then I should not have my credit checked or be given loan approval until the current buyer's outcome has been determined. TOO MANY GAMES!!!

Another great car buying experience. Great prices, great service, top notch dealership in every respect. My salesman Rich Donges was called out of town but he answered all my questions on his personal time and went above and beyond to set me up with Rich Binder who did a fantastic job in the dealership. Great professional and family atmosphere and also great job by Tim Mauser hooking me up with phenomenal financing. This is my 5th Porter purchase for both business and personal and once again they knocked it out of the park.

Typically, I have a great experience with Porter Chevy. However, I recently took my car in for a simple oil change and was "recommended" to get a few extra maintenance items completed. I agreed with the rep there but when I returned I was told some type of switch was broken in my glove compartment when they were completing the additional recommended maintenance. This was upsetting as I had to bring my car back again, and it was an inconvenience since I have to do without having my car (which is needed daily since my work doesn't have a cafeteria). This experience has made me kind of hesitant to get any additional work done outside what is NEEDED as I do not want to risk something else going wrong. As stated before, I typically have a good experience, hopefully this was just a hiccup, I just prefer a little extra care to my vehicle next time. Thanks!

Malibu went in for service and still not getting good city mileage. Only 19 as an average. Also was told GM is aware of the "Auto Stop" feature not working correctly. Other than that everything was super. Joseph Bell was super.

I had forgot to mention that when I went to Hyundai, not one but the staff had an appreciate war veterans. I went to 4 different car dealerships and not one had said anything or appreciated that I was a war veteran. The sales people at Porter Hyundai were very friendly and I didn't feel pressured. Mike Moran (salesperson) took his time, made sure I got the best deal possible and made sure I knew the Santa FE Sport inside an out. I have always bought dodges, however, the treatment, the vehicle and the dealership itself trying to work with their customers was a great selling factor. I knew, no other dealership could top the the deal I received. My brother who lives in another state, after talking to him about my deal and the vehicle, is now thinking of buying the same kind of vehicle. Hyundai should be proud of having employees who care about their customers working at the Porter Hyundai.

Mostley went ok but I thought my gm oil change came with tire rotation didn't look like it was done also asked for new wipers and I had to remind them to do it....I was second person at the express door but it took 2 hours to change oil.

The experience of hitting a deer was upsetting. However, the professionalism at Porter made a bad day better. My car was quickly repaired, looks great, and I have not experience any further problems. Many years ago I had a rear end collision and another auto repair establishment (recommended by Nationwide) did the work. The experience was miserable, taking three trips to get the car repaired and it never was satisfactory. I was prepared for another unpleasant event, but, thank you, Porter, for your first quality work...my repair was painless. Too bad you don't do dentistry!

Service manager took time in also coming to me and in detail explaining all work done and what needs to be done and important levels, the severity of each and why. All areas of service center very clean, neat and well organized. However i was unable to decide on any repairing of necessary work because the pricing is so unbelievably high. Although was told when i do decide on and make apt that "something could be worked out with coupons available". Not too reassuring to me though. That doesnt say much in convincing me off what it actually break me. This is a huge burden and bearing on me as a single income parent of 3.

I made an appointment for my 30,000 mile service for a Saturday via the online scheduling system, which confirmed when I clicked, "submit" that the submission was a success. I went at the time that I had scheduled online but the appointment had not gone through and so I had no appointment. He keeps me abreast of my previous services to ensure that I get what I need and is never trying to get me to spend more money if its not necessary. Often Chris goes above and beyond to ensure that I receive optimal customer service. Generally when I walk into Hyundai for service I usually go to Chris because he is knowledgeable and not only seeks to provide me with a service but genuinely seeks to establish a rapport with me, as well as, other customers. One day my husband came in to service my car and was very pleased because Chris knew what services I needed and wasted no time checking my husband in and getting my car inspected. My husband was extremely pleased. In my opinion coming to Hyundai to get my car serviced and having to interact with Chris makes the experience worth it; he has a strong customer focus which would help to drive any business forward. I called for a seatbelt recall on my Sonata and got an appointment for the next day. I was taken promptly and sat comfortably in the waiting room. I added an oil change on my own (was given a coupon then, too.) When my car was ready and paperwork reviewed, I was not pushed to book for any other services. (A few were checked for future consideration.) I had also bought this 2015 auto from Porter and that was an excellent transaction!

I had my oil changed and a safety check completed. My wait was around the time I was told it would be. The staff is friendly and courteous. When the time comes I will be looking forward to purchasing my next vehicle from Porters.

This was a return visit to correct a condition from a complicated earlier repair. The base problem which involved several components was difficult to articulate. As a result one of the defective components went unrepaired. I noticed the condition 4 days after I resumed driving the car and returned to Porter Chevrolet and explained the situation to Mr. Byrne, the Service Manager. He listened with interest, apologized for my need to make a return visit for something he believed should have been corrected during my previous visit. I was offered a courtesy car since the defective part had to be ordered. The repairs were completed the following day at NO Cost to me to make up for my inconvenience. I have purchased several cars from Porter Chevrolet and Porter Nissan have regularly had them perform my servicing because I was generally happy with their work. This latest experience completely amazed me. I had hoped only for an acknowledgement that Porter might have overlooked part of the problem; what I received was an incredibly sincere apology and a gift. My thanks to Mr. Byrne and Porter Chevrolet.

Never dropped off a car for service before. Upon arrival at Porter Hyundai was directed where to pull the car up for service. Jasmine greeted me and was so nice and helpful and she registered the Santa Fe in for service. Jasmine then walked me into the service office where Katie Lott put the information in the system and she explained the process. Katie walked me outside where a nice gentleman drove me over for a rental car I forgot his name but he was very nice. Jessi Davis at Affordable Rental Car was very nice too. Jessi took my information and set me up with a rental car so I could get to work. Within a short period of time after arriving at work I received a phone call and was told what was wrong with the car. Car was fixed and I picked it up after work. My car is running perfectly and the whole process was just so easy. A positive experience.

My vehicle user manual recommends synthetic oil, however, when i take my truck in for a oil change, regular oil is used (I purchased into the Oil Change Club). When a coworker of mine takes his truck in, they highly recommend the synthetic blend.

Actually, you should address the name from Alfred to my name, Evelyn, since my husband is now deceased and I was the one who brought the vehicle in for service. From a woman's standpoint, the fact that I can drive right in without an appointment is very convenient. I was taken care of right away, explained that I wanted the oil changed. I waited in the lounge for about an hour and was told it was finished, along with many other things about the car checked. The experience was quick, efficient and very convenient.

Great experience! had my 2009 Sonata serviced here yesterday after the charging system warning light came on. I thought it could be my alternator. They were able to take a look and it turned out to be the only the drive belt. From my first phone call to them, to picking up my car after they fixed it the experience was great. As far as the work that was performed, I am satisfied in that regard. I contacted the service dept for a diagnosis and repair. While my truck was being fixed on Issue A...I also asked to have an oil change done, since it was needed, and my vehicle would already be on the lift. Upon dropping the vehicle and agreeing to the work quoted, I specifically asked Rich to do this, and he said "yea absolutely, no problem". When I came back to get my vehicle the next day after repair A was done, I noticed that there was no mention of the oil being changed during the visit. Not only that, but they acknowledged, and recommended I change my oil. Now I have to take another day from my work schedule and be without my truck...when that could have been avoided. I am displeased with that aspect of my visit. This is not the first slip up from the service department, where last year I was charged for a tire rotation, and found that my tires in fact had not been rotated. The combination of these things, do not sit well. I have bought my last three trucks from Porter...at this rate, I am not sure that I will get my next from them.

WARNING>>>BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Story starts out great...Prior to this purchase I was a tried and true Toyota customer for YEARS!!!! i was ready for a new car and was referred to Mike Moran at Porter Hyundai. Mike indeed was/is great. on sale day it took approximately 6 hours. arrived around 3 pm and did not leave until just about 9 pm. i realize this was due to a myriad of things...selecting car, used car appraisal, loan and documentation and the salesperson handling customers who had an appointment....no issue there...part of the process. I left just before 9 pm (i was tired and Mike still was juggling other customers...i did it as favor to say i come back for him to do a walk around and show the inner workings). Biggest mistake of my life. when i left the dealership (which lighting was not great) i did a cursory look at the vehicle but again Mike was tied up and lighting was poor. (note: NEVER TAKE DELIVERY OF CAR AT NIGHT.....PERIOD.) turns out there was a good size scratch low on the passenger side windshield that ran contrary to the swipe of the windshield....also no damage on the body of the vehicle). i called the following day when I noticed it. They DID agree to replace this. So....took my car to body shop and picked up a loaner so that they could replace windshield. Following day i go to pick up my car and there's a huge chip in the hood. Manager reluctantly agrees to 'fix it'...this meant i bring the vehicle to the paint guy (contract guy that comes once a week to the used car lot)....he was nice but dabbed a little paint and said there you go...mind you the paint did not fill the chip nor was it the color of the car. he advised the paint would adjust. IT DID NOT. Call the following day. Mike put me to Keith....nighttime manager....he was adversarial from the start and says NOW that the (windshield and the chip) could have happened anytime by anyone...intimating i did this or had knowledge of it!!!! calling me a Liar without calling me a liar (sidenote: would love for him to refute anything that i am putting down in this review...he will know that he would then be exposed)...he also advised that Tim (daytime manager the day i purchased advised him (Keith) that i did a thorough walk around....makes no sense since Keith was the one present (by present i mean working at night...not waving to me goodbye as i drove off)...not sure why he would even bring this to light. Continuing with story he tells me that if i not happy with the hood paint 'fix' that I could pay the body shop to fix the car....I clearly was in AWE...not only am I a liar but they agreed to resolve an issue and failed horribly. Also to tell me that they "porter' did this as Courtesy....Really...So my Buyer BEWARE reminder is.... NEVER TAKE DELIVERY AT NIGHT, TRUST IS EVERYTHING AND IF A DEALERSHIP DISPLAYS UNTRUSTWORTHY VALUES AND ATTITUDES...AND!!! HOW YOUR TREATED THE DAY YOU BUY VS THE DAY AFTER!!!! It's up to people like me to OUT these types of occurrences to maybe save the next person. Note: I did reach out to Hyundai Corporate and unfortunately they said they could not compel Porter to fix or change anything....in addition they were not able to allow me to update my Survey sent to them....i would not however change anything great about Mike Moran....who got put in the middle.

My experience at Porter Hyundai over the past week was fantastic! I had such a great experience because of Service Consultant, Katie Lott, and Service Manager Lyle Price. Katie was attentive and immediately relayed my concerns to the correct employees in the service department in order to get my car completely repaired. Katie created and executed a plan to get my car fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I just had a new remote key fob to be programed and it was done in a few minutes.. Service rep. was very nice and she was very professional.. the only thing I would comment on is the fact that I even needed a new remote key fob at all... both of the ones that came with the car had stopped working.. one stopped a couple of years ago and the 2nd one stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I think the remotes should last as long as the car.. if GM won't provide remotes that last maybe it would be good PR for the dealership to at least program new ones for free! I know the next time I buy a car I would certainly consider that as a plus!

For the 2nd time in a month I have had to take my 2010 Equinox in for service. The first time was for a piston ring replacement & broken manifold and the second for a throttle module (scary & dangerous failure!). In both cases "Rich" (first instance) and one of your female service attendants (2nd instance) were very patient with me in explaining what the situation was. I explained I needed to be at work and I didn't wait long at all. Not even an hour. The woman who helped me wasn't in charge of the express service (that girl was no where to be found) but she was in charge of regular service. She was lovely. She explained everything to me well and felt as though she was straightforward with me. Often no one explains anything but she took time for me and I appreciated it. Having wifi in the waiting lounge was great I appreciated that very much. Nothing annoyed me. It was an extremely pleasant experience. I am not going to dread coming for service.

I was disappointed when I dropped my car off on 10/24/14 for service when I was informed that the warranty work and other services were unable to be performed. Misty explained the situation to me and appoligized for the inconvenience. I dropped the car off again on 10/30/2014 and was provided a loaner car. Misty kept me informed on the status of my car and warrany work and when it was ready for me to pick in the afternoon and I was not charged for the oil and filter change. Although I was initially disapointed I understand that sometimes things can go wrong. Porter's went beyond my expectationa to rectify the 1st visit and I greatly appreciate that. I have two cars that I have serviced at Porter's and will continue to do so because of the continued customer service.

When I call to make an appointment Erin, who answers the phone really pushes the walk in service option. She is not very pleasant to deal with either. I would much rather make an appointment because I am more likely to stick to that time. I ended up not bringing my car in until after the recommended miles had passed. If I had an appointment I would have brought it in before. On the other hand when I came in the first person I spoke to was not very friendly. Since I have only been there a few times I did not realize that I should pull into the bay even if there are other cars there. She made me feel like I should have known that and told me to move my car into the bay. Justin on the other hand saved the day. His customer service skills overshadowed the not so stellar actions of the other two employees. My car was done quickly and he explained everything that was done.Thanks to Justin!!!

She told me to bring it in so they could check it. Upon arriving at the Dealership, she saw me coming through the door and dropped what she was doing to tell service to take my car in immediately. As the problem was minor, that visit was only 15 minutes.She`s a good employee and Porter is lucky to have her. If I was still in business, I`d hire her in a second.

Mike M. was the best salesman we have ever met. He has exceptional personality. We felt comfortable with Mike and valued his genuinity. Our experience gave us a natural, easy going feeling. We sure did not feel pressured or dread having to come to the dealership, like others in the past where they present with a faux personality. Mike was very accomadating also with our schedules. My situation was isolated as no one seemed to understand the problem I was having. I couldn't hear my chime whether backing up, opening the door with the keys in the ignition, driving with my emergency brake on... Nothing. I explained that upon arrival, but was not understood. I was told that the volume was just down. I knew that wasn't it because my door speakers would go in and out while driving. I suggested that as per my online research, it might be the speakers or amp. At the last minute while driving to get my vehicle, I luckily for the call that it was the speakers after all. It was an expensive fix but a relief at the same time because I was already planning on going to Diver because I knew it hadn't been fixed just by adjusting the volume. I only suggest that the customers' opinion be considered when taking on a fix that doesn't seem normal. The great part was how truly kind and pleasant the service department is at Porter. By far, their service department has been my favorite and easiest experience. Misty even helped me by getting me a rental car while my whole ordeal was taking place... no questions asked. Awesome team at Porter.

Friendly, easy to work with and gave a detailed description of the issues and a timeline of when it would be done. Gave me a complementary car to use while my vehicle was getting fixed.

Due to the current recall situation there is an almost 3 week wait for anything but the most basic service and/or serious emergency situations. After being refused service (random oil light ) by 3 dealerships along Cleveland Ave, - ("take it to a Chevy dealer this sounds like a GM problem"). I decided to try to convince the desk personnel at Porter Chevy - Hundai of the potential seriousness of my problem. They listened politely and arranged for me to speak to the service manager. Jim listened and agreed the situation had potential to develop into engine failure. Jim arranged for my car to be to be examined that morning and repairs completed by early PM. The problem was a leaking oil pressure sensor. Repairs consisted of replacing the sensor and an electrical harness that was soaked with oil. KUDOS PORTER CHEVY .... Thanks Dennis

I recently looked at a used car at Porter and was very happy with the staff and facilities. I have used their body shop in the past and I have been very satisfied with their work. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I will certainly do business with them again.

I had to bring my HHR in for the recall for the ignition. The only issue I had was I wish when the rep called to make my appt they told me what I had to do. I was there for an extra 30 min more because I did not know I have to go to the service area ( i went to the body shop area) and I parked my car and went in..once i was waited on I was told i need to move my car in the line wait there for someone to great me just to come back inside and get in line again.

Nice folks at the service desk, great customer lounge area and complimentary coffee and water are all very good. The only that is needed is for customer's vehicles to get a complimentary car wash when they bring in a vehicle for service, honestly, it goes a long way for making folks feel good about their service experience.
